Employees are hiding video cards. Seems some employees are hiding gpus and selling them to people they know or buying them themselves. First time I was told they had 6 3060ti FE in inventory but I needed to get them at the front register. Took me less than 1 minute to walk there and the guy there told me they just sold all of them...I didnt believe him so I went back to the previous guy and he was busy. Once he helped me he said the cards were no longer in inventory. Today there was/is one in inventory but employees tell me they cannot find the card. They dont know where the card could be and maybe it was a mistake. Well in order to put it in inventory they have to scan the upc so how can it be a mistake?If you are trying to buy a hard to find card look on fb marketplace or offer up. Thats where whoever is buying the cards resells them for double.
My dishwasher has been busted since March, bought it from BestBuy two years ago, got the extended warranty and everything.First geek squad came twice. Then third party through Bestbuy visited another three times, replaced multiple parts. It’s still not working. The won’t replace it cause it apparently still won’t qualify for their lemon law. What do I do now ? It’s been almost two months. They won’t replace it, they can’t seem to fix it ! I’ve never been given such a runaround in my life and that to over a dishwasher. Very very disappointed. Buyer beware !!!!
Drove 20 minutes to pick up a phone after the sms notification said it was ready when I get here someone named Ramon comes out and tells me the serial number won’t go through and they can’t help me. Wasted an hour of my time to get something that wasn’t even available after they said it was ready on the app and I still don’t have what I needed.
Its cool n all but there is lots of room for improvement. The check out is one that has to change. They need to offer more industrial products such as heavy duty laptops, outdoor electronics that can keep up with you. Dont forget Bakersfield is in the top 5 oil producers in the world!
The most amazing service from any store. I was looking for a cheap phone to hold my wife over, until we could get her the phone she wanted. Shes getting her new phone in a couple months. But the phone she had now died. So we just needed something that she could use for the basics and a few games. We told the employee a d she disappeared for a while. She searched for probably 20 minutes. Then came to us with an unbelievable deal. She could have just told us this is what we got while pointing at the displays. Instead she searched everywhere. I wish I could remember her name. We did remember it when we left a message for the manager about her amazing service. This phone is perfect for what we needed.
I swore off Best Buy a few years ago because it was a nightmare Every time I went in. I decided to go back a few days ago because they were the only place in town with the TV we wanted. I was pleasantly surprised. We received quick friendly service and they helped us load the TV. I may shop there again in the future.
Was wolling to spend 4k on home theater and waited for over 39 min for assistance then they answered a couple of questions and disappeared so we found the system we wanted and ordered it from the distributor at the same price with free shipping. Also was given wrong information on products. They need to hire or train thier people and get some with customer service experience.Decided to give them another shot on a car sounds system. Its been a few months. Nope. Same thing only worse. This time i asked for assistance twice from thier so called helpful blue shirts. Not even an acknowledgement. I waited for 45 min. I understand it was busy but there were blueshirts standing around talking to eachother about what they were doing this weekend. I will be contacting thier corporate headquarters this time obviously local management is not adrrssing the lack of service.
I purchased an ipad pro. $1299.00. these guys said theyd send it to my house, like they were doing me a solid. the corp office in kentucky, had the audacity to send a brand new ipad, via UPS, in nothing more than a padded envelope. can you believe that? when i called the corp office in kentucky, TWICE, i got hung up on. TWICE. i returned the new ipad (that was warped) and after waiting ANOTHER 10 days for it, had them send it to the store for me tompick up. this place has gone downhill. im going to find other ways to shop for electronics. what a joke.
I went to buy a Phone from here.i said pls let me see what features this have.they said no we cannot hand over to you you can see in our hand.i said i m not thief i m your customer but they didnt listen. This is very bad behavior.for this kind big stores this behavior i didnt expect.
It was good in fact I was actually very good the person that helped me in computers was very knowledgeable and she found me a very good price on a laptop is an open box and ask the manager for a little bit more of a discount and he gave me a tremendously nice gift count and I appreciate that although I did have some problems with communication on a previous visit and when I had lost something I couldnt get a hold of the store could only get to the central calling center and I dont like that. But the manager gave me a direct line that goes directly into the store and not through the call center so the next time I have trouble I can use that I thank him for that.
We decided to go last minute Black Friday shopping to look at laptops and gaming PCs. Joshua was extremely helpful and patient with us while we made our decision. He had been there all day and it was minutes from closing time, but he didnt make us feel rushed at all and answered all of our questions. Thank you Joshua for your amazing customer service.
Amazing customer service we bought a used out of box item online for pick-up and when I got there they noticed the damage was significant and they ordered a brand new one and it was delivered to the house.... very pleased with the service they made accommodations and made sure we were happy instead of the usual oh well we have gotten from other places like Walmart. Definitely worth our loyalty
I went to Best Buy to find an Ethernet networking card for my computer. I was disappointed when I found that they did not carry basic networking & computer parts. I had to satisfy myself with a USB Ethernet plug-in. I assume Best Buy is only interested in selling large items TVs for computers laptops and the such. I guess, Ill need to revise my perception of Best Buy in the future, as I thought it would be the go-to place to get a part for my computer when I needed it in Bakersfield. But that is not the case. Outside of this, their service was good, and the on floor sales workers were very helpful, informed, and accessible.I was impressed that they knew what they had, what they did not, and where it was located. Ultimately saving a lot of my time hunting for something that wasnt there. The store was clean and cared for and well stock for what it had. I am sorry that I could not give a better rating score but ultimately I was not satisfied. As an Electronics provider they do not provide the basic computer parts that are expected. I.E. motherboard, power, ethernet, sound, video, memory, and other plug-in computer parts basic to common tower system.
Very well stocked and kept clean. I price matched a set of speakers that was $400 cheaper on Amazon, and they honored their price match guarantee. I actually paid full price for the speakers and found out they were cheaper on Amazon. I went back the next day and they still honored the price match. I love this place.
I feel like the employees dont enjoy their jobs and would rather not talk to people. They showed my husband what he was looking for, but everything is generally over priced. They had one person at the front checkout who was anything but pleasant. We watched as the first person in line at the store pick up line, didnt get helped and 5 more people walked up to the same line before anyone came to help anyone there. He even asked the cashier if anyone was back there working. She replied Yes, someone is back there. And left it at that. Didnt attempt to call anyone to help the guy that was standing there patiently waiting for at least 15 minutes. They are very slow at this store. This is why I shop on Amazon....
Took my sons laptop into Geek Squad for a repair. Communication with Best buy & Geek Squad is absolutely horrible, impossible to get a straight answer from anyone.Also I was quoted a price then a week later they say they found other problems and the repair cost went up drastically.
My $2000 phone had a factory defect after only 3 months of having it I purchased the geek squad protection plan for $300 and they wanted me to pay $200 moreTo use my protection plan for a factory defect this place is a money grab pay more and more for nothing last time Ill use them
Terrible experience ordered a refrigerator salesman said 4 days pick up after 3 days checked on order was told by corporate would be 4 weeks before delivery return to store would have to wait for refund for cash want to manager had to wait for two cashiers to make refund doubtful if everybody return
Some days you get an awesome associate and some days you have to search for an associate..Never consistent in this store...whatever manager that is walking the bbuy racetrack making sure his associates are attacking every customer..spending a few thousand needs to feel special
Update .Came in again dec 14th 2021. The place stinks like hot rotten garbage. No assistance available. Its like they hide instead of helping in home theater dept. Called ahead for and item in stock and was told that it was available. got no help at all trying to purchase this item. Finally someone told me it was not in stock........why even call to check?dude just kept sipping his red bull trying to avoid work..I first called several times and no one answered so I drove across town to check in person .Low inventory .the store looks kinda empty .staff hides from you if you try and get help. I had to go all the way to the appliance section to get help finding an item .they didnt have what I was looking for in stock.
I buy a samsung note 9 on-line and i got out the town, i call a few times at the store and nobody answers, i come back and the order was canceled, i try to buy the same phone but i got a discount when i buy it they dont help me, I just wanted to know if they could respect or not the price at which I bought it,customer service try to help but no body give me a answer, bad experience to be honest i wait like 2 hours for a answers or a manager and no body came 😞very bad customer service
The workers are always friendly an helpful to the max. As if you have any questions or need to know how....they got your back.. Bought my nintendo switch monster hunters edition there. Countless games an collector items as well as my wifes smart watch. We will continue to go for the great customer service alone and prices that I didnt expect at all.
Im not a big fan of big box stores such as these. And really not the biggest fan of Bakersfield but where I live it is kind of a necessary evil. There is literally nothing in the town i live in. Or close to anyway. I dont even live in a town. But if you need electronics of any real kind and need them in an instant gratification kind of way then the only place you can go is to best buy. Its fine. Its just like every other best buy in the country. Pretty much everything you could ever need and a whole lot more you never knew you needed so much. So yeah. Its a best buy.
Wanted to buy an iPhone 13 mini. They claimed they had to charge a $35 activation fee because T-Mobile forces them to. I already have a SIM card that I paid the fee to T-Mobile. Called T-Mobile and they said there is not a required $35 activation fee, so they are just lying and want to steal $35 from you. BEWARE.
Stayed at Edgewater many years ago..was less than happy then. A friend of mine stayed there and told me it was soo much better!! On Thanksgiving week decided to take a chance and stay there..The Edgewateris now where Ill be staying..a complete turnaround!! The rooms are fresh, beds comfy and the bathroom very nice!! Hotel staff helpful and friendly!I now recommend The Edgewater as a nice place to stay in Laughlin!
We went inside to look at iPhone 13 pro and I wa determined to buy one so I went to the cellphone department. We waited for a while to have someone approach us so we can discuss purchase option a group of employees were chatting by the registers. They saw that we were standing by the iPhone 13 pro display but did nothing. So, we went to the Apple department by electronics to see if we can get someone to help us get an iPhone 13 Pro. We stood there for about 10 mins and the employee came, took care of the person that was there before us, and never came back. While waiting, I was looking at the iPhone features and wanted to see the camera so I tried lifting it, when the alarm suddenly started beeping. I felt responsible for the alarm so I waited for someone to come by and stop the alarm, but no one came. The same employee that came and took care of the other person before us just peaked at me from the electronics department as if I stole or did that it on purpose while it was still beeping. We went back to the cellphone department to see if we can get some help with purchasing an iPhone. Again, we just stood there, waiting. There was one employee by the register already helping a customer but there was 3 other employees standing and chatting there. We stood there patiently waiting to finish chatting but when they were done, they walked away from us. So we lined up at the cellphone department, after the employee was done helping the customer, we asked if we could get help getting an iPhone 13 Pro and she said it was out of stock. The associate she was chatting with looked over at us several times and Im pretty sure she didnt approach us because she already knew that the iPhone 13 Pro was already out of stock. Our visit lasted around 45mins and I was very upset about the customer service at this location.
Customer service was slow but it was because they are short-staffed. Please understand people. They work really hard to get to everyone in a organized manner. Bought a birthday present at a great price in perfect condition would definitely recommend this specific one to anyone.
The geek squad chat scheduled an appt to fix my printer and after I traveled to the store they tell me they dont fix printers, but I can recycle a $400 printer for $50 and buy a new one from them for $300 to $400. just say at the beginning you dont repair printers instead of wasting my gas and time!!!!!!!
Went here 3 times to correct a mistake their cashier made. Ended up returning my item. So many issues with set up. They couldnt help me over the phone. I had to keep going back and forth. Needless to say I spent an hour and a half driving back and forth. I bought 3 different portable dvd players here also. All were returned because there only worked one time. I will not be back.
Only gave 2 stars because the cashier was friendly... I asked for help finding something and they would just point, its over there... Happened 2 times. They werent even helping anyone. Just 3 employees chit chatting about what they are going to be doing over the weekend. Couldnt find an item I was looking for so I paid for what I had and left.
Love this place...💯. They greet you at the entrance and the personnel are always eager to help out. What I love the most about Best Buy is their insurance policy, if the item you purchase becomes defective, theyll try to fix it without 2 weeks and if it cannot be fixed theyll get you a new one on the spot...!!! Not many stores have that kind of service.
I dont go here as often as some. In fact, I tend to avoid it. The products and service are top notch, but the waiting for assistance can be a bit overwhelming. I happened to go there today in search of a particular item. Not only did they have what I wanted, but at a much lower price than I was prepared to spend. Wait time today was minimal. I definitely would recommend this place. I just dont personally have the patience to wait in the usual lines.
Ive spent about $3000 or more within the last 6 months or so. Everything was going great. I got an OLED tv (6-22-21). Great tv, no problem. (7-13-21) the tv started glitching on me and turning off. I decided to take it back and wanted to get a replacement (7-14-21). started having problems as soon as I got in the door. First they had to try it out to make sure it turned on and that I did not have a problem with, but then I saw how they handled taking it out of the box. You arent suppose to touch the screen or certain spots on the tv since its very slim and OLED. I left the stickers on that say where to touch and not to. The person helping me seemed annoyed and with an attitude. said it was past 15 days. I told her it was not my fault because it was defective. At this point I thought just give me my money and Im done, never coming back again. I mentioned that I was an elite member and the manager goes on the computer and checks. The fact that I was surprised everyone there but me. The manager then tells the person to give me a refund. The lady walks back over, still with that look on her face and give me my receipt. I just took it and left. Im done with BestBuy.
Called for geek squad to come out and fix my washing machine. Still have not receive the parts and they called to cancel my appointment even though the parts should have been here Monday but were not received. My washer has now been not working for two weeks, $100 in laundry mat and still my washer is broken. The extended warranty is horrible through this company, tuners in Bakersfield has the best service so shop at Urners for your appliances!!!
If Im shopping for electronics this is my first stop. Not only do they price match, they have a huge selection. Most importantly the service is good and the employees are always respectful and helpful. Even though I always spend to much there, thats mostly my fault. Why buy a 65 inch tv when theres a 85 inch right next to it!!
Always great customer service but the door greeter that stamps equipment gave off a strange vibe and told me I couldnt get my Amazon tablet fixed there so I stated I wanted to speak to a manager and he sent me to customer service, the customer service agent was blond with long hair and he had a beard he was very relatable. He found my warranty within minutes and took my tablet expecting a new one next week thanks great service there, no hard feelings with the door greeter he just needs to be trained better
First, I was not sure they were open. Many people standing outside and curbside signs were everywhere.I wish I had asked his name: I went in to purchase computer monitor and a gentleman offered to help me. He asked for what I needed and went out of his way to locate the item on line and on sale. Best service Ive gotten at BestBuy since forever. I should be getting my 2 monitors sometime today :)
Friend audio and entertainment store that claims to have it all I was Disturbed and shocked at the time I wasted going over there to find out they dont even have one single handheld microphone let alone Bluetooth microphones that are compatible with subwoofers recommend calling first before going down there assuming they have everything, because they dont. On top of that it was pretty difficult to get someone who knew what they were actually talking about, that is after a pretty good wait just to get someone to help me.
I went to buy a music box for apartment and it was crowded. The check in clerk took my name and they send a text to you when its your turn. I waited less than 10 minutes before I was helped. I was happy with the care that was given to me while I was there and plan to shop there again
This is a great spot to come and pick up electronics, every time I’ve been here all the employees been pretty knowledgeable in their products. I feel like the lines have always been a little bit of an issue. I went there for store pick up, I did have to wait in line to get into the store but it was nice that they did have a second line for store pick up, they found my item pretty quickly.
There is not an option for ZERO stars!!! Best Buy received the item I returned on Aug. 27, 2020 and now on Nov. 16, 2020 my account has not been credited. I have called customer service MANY times to resolve this issue, but nothing has happened. It took at least 3 calls to start a dispute claim (each time I was told that it would completed in a week.) AND now Im being told it will take up to 3 MORE months to credit my account. Is this the new expectation on how they treat loyal customers!
Well, Best Buy can be a little intimidating, do to its size. After walking around aimlessly I decided to bombard the next employee with a plethora of What do Is and How do Is! Somehow he seemed to understand my Electronics For Idiots lingo and found exactly what I needed. Kudos to management!
At times it seems very hard to find someone to help you out. Thankfully I found someone and the right person the first time in my last visit. Lines weren’t long and I’m happy to see that there is still a box store with most of the things you’re looking for. I am sad to see the Samsung area not as ramped up as the apple. But at least they’re still kinda there. Have a question chase after the blue shirts.
Talk about incompetence. I ordered curbside pickup 3 hours later it wasnt even ready. I went inside to the associate and she had a bad attitude. She try to tell me to go back outside I told her no Ive been waiting for 3 hours and she said okay Ill have someone get it from the back. Finally they brought out my TV and she was very unapologetic and unprofessional. This place seems to be hiring scrubs at least this person was a scrub.Id advise manager at Bakersfield Best buy to train their employees on how to properly administer a curbside pickup. When the order comes in have someone take it out when the customer arrives simple as that.If it was a way to give negative five stars I would.
Purchased Office Home and Business from Best Buy for $239.99. Found out that my company will only support Microsoft Pro. I purchased Microsoft Pro from Microsoft for $99. I went back to Best Buy to return the Office Home and Business which I never used or activated. Best Buy told me that they would not accept the product for refund. The return was within the 15 day time frame for returns on the receipt. I was never advised that the product was non returnable. In addition to this the Customer Service person was very rude and dismissive. Based on this policy and treatment I will not shop at Best Buy again. I have been a loyal customer to the store since it was built. No more.
They arent as well stocked as they were in the past. I imagine this has to do with people buying things online rather than in person. You can always have items delivered to Best Buy and available for pick up but that just sounds like online shopping with extra steps. They overprice a good amount of their items, Id argue that the only good deals you get are from refurbished items, which work just fine. They have good deals on TVs but everything else, to my experience, is expensive.
Geek squad absolutely did a buddy of mine dirty when he was trying to build a PC. At the time, I did not know he was interested in PC gaming and he decided he wanted to build one. My Friend wanted all his parts then and there so he got them all at the Best Buy on Rosedale. Geek Squad convinced my friend that it was a good idea to spend $200+ on a mother board, $150 on a GPU, and $100+ on an APU. Thats right, they gave him an APU instead of a CPU in a gaming rig. Keep in mind that my friend did not know much about computers at all. Im not sure if Geek Squad had to meet a sale quota or they get some kind of commission, but they literally just gathered all the parts they had and threw it at him. DO NOT come here if you want to build a PC and do not know much about it. Do your research first. If you know exactly what youre looking for, then this might be a good place for you. At the time, they had a variety of GPUs for various builds and even a few cpus. Overall, they have a wide selection of tech ranging from fridges to Nintendo Switches. But these types of stores seem to be obsolete if you can order it all online, unless youre like my friend who wants things then and there.
Best Buy is exactly what it means...you can get so much there, its unbelievable...its like a smorgasbord Disneyland of everything technology you can imagine...I love it & so will you...but dont just take my word for it.go check it out yourselfYou wont be disappointed 😉👍💯
They are rude and dont care about what you how to say. For example I was trying to exchange a video game got my nephew. He barley gotta it the same day by mail for his birthday. I didnt knew he had the same game already, so I went in the same day try to exchange and the lady was being rude like no we expected return. It was still new and everything but wouldnt expect. Not even walmart or target does that.
Never really had a problem here. The workers are very nice and helpful and you get your moneys worth. They dont have a lot of home speaker options but other than that a great place to shop electronics. Their return policy is really good too. Also they have a very wide range of laptops and computers for pretty good prices.
Best Buy what I like about it is that has a large variety variety of electronics in if you have a problem are you gotta do is drive there you dont have to mail anything or growth rainy mailing issues so yeah I like because you could take your product back in get another product the same day
I went in there at 5:43 pm to make a return. There were 7 people in front of me. Everyone at the customer service desk kept either walking away or doing their return stickering. All moving so slow! There was an elderly gentleman who ended up having to get a chair to sit in because he had a cast on his leg and was next but no one would stick around to help. I was so angry i didnt bother with my return ill get there when they open because their service desk is awful. When I left the line it was 633 I stood in line 45 mins to see 2 people waited on! Thats horrible! I dont recommend this store at all. Even when Ive shopped in there and needed to ask a question the sales people walk right by you as stand there and try to get their attention. I say shop online and dont bother with a return unless you mail it! I would have given it 0 stars but you have to mark at least one!
We got great help once we knew what we were looking for, got help deciding what was the better product for us and also purchased a plan where the geek squad helps with in home setups for all our equipment. Couldnt have walked out of there happier. Employees are there to help and explain everything with patience and our best interests at heart. Not only looking to upsell, which means a lot personally .
Personally, I try to avoid Best Buy, however while in from out of town, this location was much nicer than the one back. Nice and clean; no pushy sales people, easy checkout, no one tried to upscale everything under the sun to me, hassle free getting out of store [no nwo people having to validate receipt].
If customer service is important to you than I would suggest buying your products somewhere else. Ive been a best credit card holder for over ten years and after having a brief conversation with the geek squad manager, I was quickly convinced that I will never shop here again. Spend your money somewhere else please.
Really the only biggest electronic store in Bakersfield without much competition locally. However I purchased many different computer components here, form Black Friday to day to day shopping, the workers here tend to be very helpful. One great thing that comes to mind is their price matching from websites like Amazon, instead of having items ship within 2 days, Best Buy tends to have most parts in stock so price matching from those competitors is a huge win in my book. Refund policy is pretty standard, never purchased any dead parts. Very good experience with the app as well with the pick up in one hour feature they have. 10/10
Been shopping at Best Buy for a long time. Grateful to have them near by. Never had any issues. Usually buy Geek Squad protection and have had to take a couple car stereos back and one laptop for repair or replacement. Never had a problem. I prefer buying local, supporting my local economy, if I can. I recommend Best Buy.
We made an appointment to buy a fridge. They were ready for us on time. We were asked to sit and wait for the associate to come and take us to the sales floor. They did not have the fridge we wanted on display but had similar ones to see. We ordered the one we wanted and in home delivery was scheduled for July 17.
Good clean place but poor customer service I was looking for a item and I asked a couple of employees where I could find the item and nd they just pointed. Me to a direction. I did ok while another male went up to the same employee and asked the same question on where to find item he stopped what he was doing and oh its over here and walked you there and Show you. Happened twice today so I just left not very friendly.
Terrible at taking responsibility for lost delivery items. Especially when they are limited edition steel books! Customer service was as helpful as they could be. Best Buy should be able to have in store items shipped to the customer as a courtesy, not expect us to drive 4 hours to get one
I always am able to find what we need when we come to this store. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable. Sometimes, the salesperson for a brand will be in the store and can help out a great deal explaining your options to you. We never have to wait too long in lines, except for Black Friday 😑 My favorite section is the small kitchen appliances because of the variety of options
Placed a order online and was able to pick up inn store inn less then 15 min from placing the order. Once arrived order wasnt picked yet but online pick up department had no problem getting it really quick. There was a line but moved rather quickly. Customer service was great and speed of service was good as well. The manager Alex is always a pleasure to talk to can always catch him walking around and checking on customers, he definitely has this store running efficiently.
I went to Best buy today to pick up a product the website said it was in stock I went and it apparently was out of stock and the employee wasnt too excited to go look for it fortunately it was sitting right next to another product and another bin before that I asked two other employees for help they were very rude and very short with me stating that they already helping somebody else pretty much telling me I was out of luck then the one person that did help me didnt do a very good job because he didnt look very hard for what I was looking for and then I had to do his job by looking for the product myself long story short employees are rude services bad youre pretty much on your own once you walk in. There as bad as walmart...
This is the first time Ive been in one for a full half hour before I could get some help. The layout is weird it says tablets on the sign but there are only fire tablets there. The Galexy tabs are closer to the front. Luckily someone did help me as i was walking out to leave. They did not carry what I needed ( a galaxy tab that is LTE compatible) but they sell it online and he walked me through how to order it on the website.
Walked to the back of the store to look at car stereos. Must have been a 6 salespeople hanging around. When I ask for assistance, I was told to walk all the way back to the front, wait in line and ask them to schedule for assistance. I walk all the way back to the section and one of the same sales members is now able to help. Ridiculous policy!
Got a new phone best buy was the only place that had my phone case and screen protector great price but they do charge to put your screen saver on r phone $8.00 dollars but worth it phone looks great would recommend this place for all your needs great people awesome deals
I originally hated best buy, but am finally loving it after the overpricing of items stopped. This place now has better deals than on amazon. And from the PC community to Best buy: Thank you for finally listening to us by expanding your selection and adding pc cases to your inventory!
Everytime I go here in search of something I would like to get today, they are either out of stock or simply dont carry in store what Im looking for. We keep trying but they never seem to have what we need. (phone cases, various cords/cables, chargers, adapters, laptop cases, etc) Its not like we went in looking for things you wouldnt think they would carry. We were looking for pretty basic electronic related things. If we dare ask an employee they are usually short with us and tell us things like we dont carry that in-store but we could order it for you online. (not helpful, we can order anything online but wanted to get a specific item right now to use so we came to a physical store.) Usually while waiting in a line to speak to an employee about where we might find an item we are looking for my husband and I wind up helping other customers find what they need. People often tell us we should work there because we were so helpful. (We just laugh because this place drives us both crazy.) So I guess I will just say you are probably better off trying Walmart or Target (both are close by) if you are looking to find something in stock. (also probably at a better price)

2022-06-17Wish I had more time to browse the store. There are so many new gadgets and ideas out that I have not yet seen. Live in a rural town. Travel at least 2 hours to any main hub. Lol Cant wait to return when I have 3 hours to scour the entire store. Service was good. Sales person helped me on the floor. Not much of a wait to check out. Immediately went to the dirt track races after my Best Buy experience and finished out my trip right on time.

2022-06-25I havent been to a Best Buy in years, theyre not what they used to be. I guess now that everyone researches products online and knows exactly what they want, not much need for employees. It took a while to find an employee to help us. Once we did, Chanel was very helpful and apologetic for the wait. Helped us find everything we needed and got us checked out.

2022-05-25Good variety of electronics, fun to explore. Could use a little more consultants floating around to help but these days are different times Im afraid. Usually have or can get what Im looking for. Purchased many items there the last few years. Including refrigerator, oven, stove top, microwave, washer and dryer, home security hardware, sound system items, and a TV or two.

2022-06-23Good place to shop for electronics, and maybe the only place on Bakersfield. However the salespeople are unpredictable. Some times are nice and helpful, but most of tge times look they dont care about the customers or selling to them. Not sure why tgey have this behavior. I would suggest the manager to be more strict with them about customers satisfaction.

2022-04-18I worked here for 4-5 years in sales and during my time I had an addiction with all the tech that flooded this store. It may seem biased because I worked there but as a former employee and now current customer it’s still a solid place for purchasing electronics. I’ll have to say that the prices can be high and sometimes ridiculous but occasionally you can find some good deals during the year. They’ve been changing the layout for years but I think it’s become much better and streamlined than when I first began working there. The employees can be a hit or miss in terms of helping you, which goes the same for almost all retail stores, but it really just depends who you get. The TVs, laptops, and other small items are solid and usually Best Buy always has the latest tech that’s out. Which is what made it so enticing to me even now. If I can give a recommendation to shoppers, doing your research before going in makes a big difference in finding what you need. It makes the interaction easier for all parties involved. Also try to avoid weekends or major holidays because it’s a death trap in there lol

2022-06-06I went in to purchase a refrigerator but not one person acknowledged me. I found the one I wanted on my own and when I tried to find someone to help me, there were several sales people standing around talking with each other or on their phones but no one helped me so I left and purchased the refrigerator elsewhere.

2022-04-03I bought a galaxy watch there but they didnt have a screen protector for my watch, 17 days later I was in the area so I stopped in to see if they had got in any screen protector for my watch then I saw that the watch I bought was on sale for 50 dollars less so I went to the customer service area to get the 50 dollars I would of be perfectly fine with store credit but I was told sorry they only honor the price match for 14 days. I called to speck with a manager and I never got a call back wth. 😐 I will never go there again.

2022-04-24They said that my orders will be shipped the next day that was false false I am still waiting for my order to be shipped theyre telling me from now all the way to May 8th Im like if I knew that I would have went in the store and picked it up then they going to tell me I cannot cancel the order for pickup next time I will be coming in the store to make my order I am so cool on Best buy right now very mad then they going to tell me a manager call me back at 3 to 4 days never again never again if you guys do order something from Best buy just do pick up great products delivery services b*******
