Bad Quality and Bad Customer ServiceI bought a few items from this store. I followed instructions to wash all. Three pieces shrunk so much that they couldnt fit me at all. I brought them back to the store. The assistant manager, Whitney, refused to return one of them. She blamed on me that I didnt wash that one correctly. She was very rude at the same time. Why would I wash two pieces correctly and one piece incorrectly? Logically, wouldnt I just wash all of them the same way? I had more than $200 worth of clothing in my hands. Because of her bad attitude and bad clothing material, I decided not to buy them and took my business somewhere else with better service.
Always have a good casual collection...I go here for casual/business/semi formal attire!
Maybe its because its an outlet, but everything here seems a bit off. The staff are nice enough but not very helpful. The prices are just okay for what theyre offering, and I always leave disappointed. They do seem to have a sizable section for petites though. I dont know if items purchased here can be returned to other stores, so be sure to ask. I want to like this place, but its just meh. Tip: For quickest access to Banana, park near Under Armour, Chicos, or Pottery Barn. Parking is free.

Unpleasant service!!! They were giving me an attitude and making an issue about making an exchange 1 day after purchase into a different color! The manager came only to talk down on me! Bad service and poor management!

Its kind and general, but its just this place, so its a crazy place because there are too many people with a big discount. Clothing design is also growing, so its not as good as H&M.

Banana Republic clothes have always seemed very good to me, and although there was not much variety of Hu products, there were not enough.

2022-08-21😳😪 Where do I begin? I came up to Carlsbad, to check out my (previously) favorite store to get nice skirts, slacks, dresses, tops, handbags, etc. But when I got to the Banana Republic FS, I was walking around the store wondering where all the clothing was. I saw lots of 70% off signs, and I wondered if they didnt make it through the pandemic. I made it all the way over to the mens side and finally asked a sales rep, Are they closing this store? She replied that no, there was a new CEO in BR, and they have changed the way the brand looks. She added that I was like the 5th person to ask her if they were closing the store. Well, I can tell you this, I need a new go-to for skirts, slacks, blouses, etc, that are not teeny bopper styles. The clothes in here are sooo boring. Oh. My. Gosh. Drab colors, no real style or cut. Ugh. BR has been a household name for quality clothing since the 1990s, but, I guess things change. Although, the way the store is laid out is really unappealing. 😪

2022-08-22Since there was no one to contact and the brief survey on the reciept is not legit or not working, only way to discuss this s a review. Anyhow, we bought three pairs of mens pants and a shirt, totaling over 150.00, we paid cash as we left the sensor went off, I told my husband go back through it might have left a sensor on or it was someone else, he went through, I went through after no sensor went off we thought it was ok maybe someone else, the strangest thing however, a woman who appeared to be purchasing next to us, who acually we think was a loss prevention now in hindsight, came over by the door yelling stop them, someone take their picture? it was weird, we didn think it was us because we had come back in and no sensor went off, but however when we got home, as I was going to wash them, I found a sensor at the bottom of a pant leg, its strange to me too because he tried them on and there was not a sensor on them then, or any of the others, anyway, we had to cut the sensor off the pants leaving a hole which I had to stitch, because we live about 70 miles away from the outlet store in carlsbad, there is not another outlet store near us as we know of and since we are not regular shoppers there, we stopped in looking for some casual work pants and they were on sale for 50% off, we opted to try theirs, we will never shop at that store again and did not appreciate the treatment, and the incovenience of having to cut the sensor off,my reciept. transaction number:3094, reg:305, store:06282, valid no: 7627 time: 02:57 pm

2019-09-04Great store, great collection. My favorite brand. But very bad cashier. My coupon (15% off promo) couldnt load on my phone, she (one on the left) didnt help, had me go out to get the code and made me stand in the queue again.

2018-12-20Light and comfortable shopping floor/environment. Price is very good with coupon codes applied. Fitting rooms available. Employees are very nice, friendly, and helpful. Credit cards accepted. Return is pretty easy. Public restrooms nearby. Free parking lots (outlet parking) available. I would recommend it.
