I shopped at Macys only I was having some issues with my debit card but the sales clerk by the name of Ed was completely awesome and very patient and attentive

I like the place, its pretty good for shopping. Its never crowded, has good stores and has a food courtyard. I just love the Macys, B&BW, and foot locker. Loved the forever 21 but too bad its not there anymore. Other than that good place.

Honestly make me have nostalgic memories like when especially the Walmart there before it closed down and it meant so much to me that when I go there or think about the mall and before this post I never figured out if it was all a dream and the Walmart was never there or it was since I was like 4 when I went there 2014 before it comes down I didnt bother to remember it so know when I go there I always remember that Walmart (most of my favorite things and toys at the time and some I still keep come from that Walmart)

I went to the Baldwin Hills mall throughout my entire childhood and it’s unfortunate to see it change due to gentrification, but there are still other gems in the neighborhood, the movie theater there being one of them.
Man started pouring rain wiper seem broke went to pep boys guy was eating lunch in garage outside mechanic I guess... he actually stopped what he was doing and put my wiper on correctly he told me to keep my money in my pocket fantastic service.. DIDNT GET HIS NAME BUT HE WAS HISPANIC GUY.. THANK YOU MAN

This location has a nice selection of stores like Macys, Sears and several others. They also offer a food court with a nice selection of choices. They have the African American Museum located on the 2nd or 3rd floor with excellent exhibits, right now is Bernard Stanley Hoyes.
The store has changed for the better since my last visit. Each department has spacious and neat.
Small theatre with the family vibe. Bring the children for a afternoon matinee. Great place to see movies on a budget. Discounts on concession purchases with member card.

They have a safe and beautiful area which was ideal for taking photos. Clean and clean, every corner. The salesmen, salesmen, security guards and cashiers were nice and welcoming. Its good that I have ever seen in this lovely classic mall. Maintain the fantastic job.
I love coming to the Crenshaw mall. My favorite store will always Southern Girl Bakery and Gamestop. This is a great place to pick up some Christmas presents. The mall is not crowded at all. Please keep in mind I went in on November 9th 2021 and now they are only allowing vaccinated people into the mall. This policy just happened. I still love coming here.

My family is from Beaumont Texas, and have been professional chefs since the 1800s. Southern Girls Bakery is on Perfect Hit with their German Chocolate Cake. Most people miss the subtle chocolate flavor and the moist texture without being oily. She gets it right.
The remaining stores & kiosks are there because they still have consumer items that are useful or highly requested. A lot of food or snack items are affordable for young people and satisfy hungry shoppers. Eat&go.

There is a lot of stores that left. Forever 21 been there since forever they are gone. Sears is gone. There just aint a lot of good stores.

I hope this historic mall does not go the way of the dinosaurs! It would be perfect for the MTA station without having to take down the existing facade. Fingers crossed that they dont hear it down!!!

OMG!! first time using dbox. Its so amazing. I had surgery in my spine but, I was able to put the settings low. And my back was fine. :) Best movie ever. We saw avengers, thanos is my favorite now. Hes a good problem solver. Check out these pictures. I used my hadicap sign and we parked right in front. This place is so nice and the employees are super nice as well. Ill definitely recommend this place. And you havent tried dbox u need to do it. I had surgery 2 years ago in my spine and I was ok on the lowest setting.
They got my order wrong, it should have been French dip on Swiss combo. But I got no fries or drink..

Fantastic! This restaurant was terrific! Their workers were very supportive and welcoming. Cooked by the cook, it was very admirable for his very good taste. That day, he did very well and it was impressive. Thats melting my precious heart. I feel the joy of the food he made. I am so thankful to him that he has provided us with great food.
I went to Macys to try out some new fragrances and they were good. But I found out through my credit card I can get fragrances cheaper online from Macys. Overall good experience.
The comfort rooms were very open, and were also very clean. The staves were also very amicable and welcoming. My favorite place to spend my weekend was this shopping centre. Since it was so well planned and has a massive food court and restaurant, I love this place a lot. Often, they had a nice deal every weekend.

This is my neighborhood mall and sadly this pandemic hasnt helped it keep up. About half the shops I walked by are closed. Very sparse foot traffic also. I hope this mall picks up after this virus goes away or at least gets controlled like the flu. Its sad to see the hood in a rut. Hoping for better days. Not giving up.
This shopping center was the best! My family and I truly enjoyed shopping because you have everything that I wanted and at a reasonable price. The staff was very accommodating, professional, and nice. Besides, the place was stylish, modern, and new to look at. We even treasured every moment that we were in your mall. Till next time!

I wanted to go to this shopping center a week ago to buy some shoes, and I was lucky enough to find one just in time. Because the people here are very friendly and the premises are highly furnished, I will definitely recommend this shopping center to everyone. A truly marvelous place to be! Heavily recommended!
They moved forever 21 👎🏽 developers keep trying to buy it, it is the last truly African American MALL. Sheesh. Can we have something! We dont need more expensive apartments. We need contributions, real plans for infrastructure not more gentrification. All in all still love the stores that are still there thugging it out. Wings n stuff takes extra! And theres a new Jamaican spot um thinking of trying. Also healthy eating spot as well. And the movie theater. I remember when magic Johnson still owned it.

We went early afternoon on a Sunday and it was not too crowded due to covid 19. My sister was looking for a bag for her daughter and we found it here. It was inexpensive, thus she bought another one for her. It was all so pretty. Highly recommended!

Enjoyable experience! This mall has everything that I wanted. Honestly, all the clothes and fashion needs that I wanted to buy were all there. Also, there were a few sit-down restaurants to eat and a gym on the upper level. Even the cashiers and saleslady that were working there were very accommodating and nice. Eventually, I left there with a smile on my face. Thank you!
Sweet first time going here. I love it the people who work there are currently a security airport not to crazy though haha well it was perfect people are relax and feel nice the chairs are on point i felt great for example the sofa chair that your father doesnt let the family in well thats all but it is like a everyday at a theater near you(Always wanted to say that Score).

Went for covid vaccine put on by mothers in action and I think fema, one of there mobiles was parked out front. They were well organized and had the most wonderful staff. Everyone helped with a smile and it made my trip there so positive. Everything ran like a well greased wheel.
I grew up in this mall when it had it all new berries toys and hobbies the magic Johnson theater all the King Day parades taste of soul this mall is definitely humbled my soul for all the years and experience that I have here in my community a beautiful experience I cannot complain and I wont complain experience it for yourself I did now Im helping building community wealth

Depends on airport traffic and what terminal your coming from to get there. Coming from terminal one its a quick short walk but if you have to catch a shuttle it can be annoying.
The movie experience was good. However we are sorry we missed the vendors. I was happy we got a close parking space. It was nice.

Went to a chicken and fish restaurant. The cashier was friendly and had a great sense of humor. The food was way too much for me, even though it was a fish burger and fries. I ordered mild, but possibly got the lowest spice. ( hot) as possible, which was tolerable. The restaurant was clean and so was the bathroom as well. Social distances was observed inside and outside. This restaurant frequented by many people, as its near The Crenshaw Mall. Good food and service. Too many fries like most places.

Enjoyed movie. However with surround sound it is not necessary to turn the volume all the way up to the maximum unless you want the audience to have a headache an possibly loose some hearing. Snack area nice and clean as well as the rest room. Good assistance to purchase tickets

It was better before the pandemic . One of the stores wanted to check my temperature on my forehead I decided not to go in instead, the device can be pointed at the wrist or elbow fold to measure the body temperature. This is accurate as well as less harmful.

Leaving from san francisco to visit few friends down rented a house with few ppl. But aint it seems but like a lil confuse with the ordeal of travel n finding the right place. I stop to get some things my girlfriend to the restroom n this lady was saying a guy was hiding in one of the stalls a lil crazy out here i didnt know you know. Cool mall though dont like traffic to hectic.
Used to be a super awesome all once upon a Time I remember going to KB Toys when I was a kid and now its basically a swap meet but overall its a cool place to go and buy some knick knacks the food court is awesome

Although I didnt really shop, I got my Covid-19 vaccination at the old Sears building. It was worth the wait to get the one shot J&J vaccine. The healthcare workers were friendly and efficient as long as you were from the local area codes!

Customer service representatives are always available, efficient, and informative. The clerks move the lines swiftly and multiple self service aisles are available to expedite small purchases. Lowes is well stocked, organized and handicapped equipped. Lowes prepares in advance for seasonal celebrations. Throughout the Virus Pandemic, the store maintained adequate amounts of cleaners, hygiene & protective paraphernalia and restocked everyday. Management is to be appreciated.

Was good to go to a theater again its been over an year n a month or two ....its 2021 ...spacing of seating is good n I feel enough distance ..if u been vaccinated n wear a mask if people are close to you ..it was fairly empty to our movie ...enjoyed it ....hope they clean after every movie ..just bring hand sanitizers n ur good

We have excellent Malls across Ameria: this is one of them. Very nice shopping, easy access parking all over. Wonderful theater on the grounds, two well-known department stores Americas heart. A Dance Theater. A great after 5 restaurant for your dates, mixed drinks from a professional. A country restaurant -a charm...all on the outside, near parking-easy access, and yet; inside there is great shopping from end to end, so many stores for different interest-I found, that I save money on products: for home, for self, and gifts for others like during Christmas Ive been very thankful for what Ive found at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Mall. Nice patio furniture. They have a train for children to ride in the Mall court not on the escalator. And the food in the food court (on the 1st floor here,) are just as good as the restaurants are, on the outside mall. I leave you with this. Its surely not the biggest mall in the world, but its packed w/ some pretty nice things & people.
Its becoming a great area. With the cutest Mexican restaurant & amazingly priced theatre its a great spot to hang out.

Weekdays are not as crowded. Would not recommend going on weekends because parking will be difficult. A movie theater is just a short walk near the parking. Not a big mall but it does have a decent amount of stores and food court is okay.

Very old maybe alot of down fall from COVID. The stores that were there were good. I got there thinking that Sears was open it wasnt. So in closing I left not getting the stuff I wanted.
This space is awesome. During the holidays they put up all kinds of decorations and it feels like a foreign place. There are so many shops to explore but the best part is just walking around and people watching. One of my favorite stops while exploring CA!

Ive been going to this mall my whole life and they did an entire renovation to the structure and I believe it can compete with shopping centers in richer neighborhoods. Its so pretty and the food court is very diverse. You have an island feel, creole southern vibe, and of course good ole american cuisine
This place is great for a get in get out mall. Parking is pretty good. Nice selection of stores. My favorite place to go eat tacos. Yes...Tacos. Chili Verde...Hands down the best Chicken and Ground beef tacos in California. I must have Every time I come back home. The mall is the best place to eat them.
Food court is awesome! Always clean and ladies always cleaning after someone leaves! The mall is great as well a lot of places to buy from.
This mall has a store for everyone. Most of the time theres not even many people in the whole mall which means less waiting and more time to spend shopping around. The stores here vary from clothing to furniture to soap and candles. Most stores here have amazing deals and very nice staff. The mall itself is clean. While I dont know the exact number of stores in the mall, I can say there is upwards of 20 different stores here. There is also tons of parking space in the parking structure. Next to the mall there is a movie theatre that can get pretty packed but other than that theres not much going on around this area. A great place to visit with friends or family, or even by yourself.

I mean if you really just need to grab something quick for a party or baby shower or a special occasion or even just something quick for yourself then go the the BHCM. Other than that it aint never been the same since they took Wal-Mart away. Its dead in there.
Its clean. The clothes are cheap. If you are on a really tight budget and like urban wear, this is a good place to go. The staff that day was super slow. I ended up leaving without purchasing anything. I probably wont go back. For a few dollars more, you can go to Ross or TJ Maxx and get better quality clothes.
I was at the galleria in Torrance and it reminded me of The walking Dead set half the stores in the mall were closed. When Walmart left business went down 50%, to 70% McDonalds closed .Sears closed down too. The question is what are they going to do with that plaza you see they tried to rent some space out at the hawthorn Mall.
Its a nice mall. Clean, and never too crowded compared to the others. Great food and great shopping. Movie theater is well priced on Wednesday and of course you have to stop by Southern Gals if you have a sweet tooth. Baldwin Hills Mall is a one stop shop.
I honestly love going to go see movies there. This place just get extremely packed at night and on the weekends. Play has a really good price. The foods good. And the lines are never too bad. To get your ticket.

What an awesome place. Plenty of parking (extra validation with purchase, or with movie ticket) and a lot of activities which change every week (pig races this weekend, for example). This is a great place to stroll around and relax. Great shops. The bathrooms and concierge services are first rate.
There is so much promise here, Just needs the right mix of stores/tenants and ownership, this place can be a Real money maker.
The mall needs some new stores and needs new food options. I would understand if this was a bigger mall but at this size it has too many shoe stores. After walmart left McDonalds also left. Hopefully whomever takes Walmarts spot will be awesome. Personally hoping for bestbuy and target to take 1 floor each. Also hoping Burger King to take what was McDonalds place. Only reason going to the mall right now is childrens place and southern deserts. Check out those amazing desserts. Price a little heavy but once you taste it youll know its worth.
Went to the movies to see fences. Good movie. Arrived at the theater, line was moderately long moved quickly. There was automated machine where you could buy tickets using a debit or credit card. So thats what we did. After purchasing our tickets we went to the snack bar. There were just a few people there, so we were able to get our snacks pretty quick & go in to see the movie. It was great.
After you pick up fresh produce, hit up the vendors. Wicked Willow Candles, Le Troys Bruler and Jivdesigns all sell pure, high vibrational products. Highly recommend.
This place is kind of lonely now compared to when it had a Walmart. Its still a good place to go and shop. Like the movie theater here, however, they have this weird backpack policy, so it kind of sucks for students who go straight there after school because if your backpack is passed a certain size you wont be allowed in.

Just moved to the neighborhood and would walk over much more often if there were doors that faced the street and/or the sidewalks were kept clean. Everything faces the interior parking lots and doesn’t feel very neighborhood -friendly. Not pleasant to walk to, but the interior is fine.
Its a good mall you know forever 21 is alright I really dont go to this mall often but it has a couple good stores not that much stuff in this mall I wouldnt recommended it but if you need like last minute stuff and dont want to go to the fox hill mall yea of you should go to the creshaw mall but gear not that good of a store anyways Chile!!
The mall should be closed. I live in this neighborhood. And people r trying 2 save it,let it be sold. The only store I go 2 is Macys, and its old looking and unorganized. This place doesnt serve this area with any purpose.
The workers were very respectful and helpful .It wasnt just a place to see movies, they had A spot for eating, playing games/or relaxing.I felt as if I was at home and safe.I will go there a lot more when I have the spare time.I truly enjoyed being there.
Real nice place to spend a day and shop. They got food, nice stores and its not as gang traffic as first. Its really THE mall to visit when you get to Los Angeles California. Everything there is accessible and user friendly. Information is available easily and secure and free parking for your vehicles. Also wheelchair access to every part of the building. Also note that theres a theater right beside it so you will have tons of fun and reason to spend a whole day there.

I been going for years and even if the stores change once in a while, the atmosphere is always welcoming. They offer free exercises classes and hold events on a regular basis with guest performances and seasonal events.The food court has expanded over the years offering a diverse choice of foods for a reasonable price, and even some upscale restaurants in the mall with great music to pass the time.Plus its close to the movie theater and local business so you can shop, eat and unwind without going to far.

This macys is a great store their remodeling the store. Its looking better their just took out mother hood clothing. And they brought new merchandise. Love it. They have some nice people that like to help but not all.

Free parking. Good amount of quality stores. Decent food court. Theater has good matinee prices. Only 1 elevator though placed in the middle of the mall. I recommend using either sears or macys elevator if u find yourself on either end of the mall.
Capacity limits are adhered to and masks are required. Limited seating in the food court. Very clean. Visible security presence.

It can get packed especially on the holidays or regular days so make sure u have enough time. There is wheelchair accessibility. There are many and fantastic kiosks with each one being diffrent from the last. very big and places for toddler to enjoy and you can rest (if u are a parent). Although the food court can get really pact with hardly no seats on days of events or weekends and/or holidays.
The outdoor market was great, lots of different vendors, the sweet treats and samples were delicious. I will be going back again when I get the chance!
Its impressive how outstanding the mall has kept the mall so clean which included: bathrooms; tables; floor: areas; and the various vendors. About two years ago, saw a small mouse near one of the vendors location, but not any seen since. Recently the cleaning crew(s) should be COMPLEMENTED for doing a continuous excellent job!
My favorite place to shop. Get a great massage and be free from all the drama..LOL. great restaurants clean/:neat. I also had a herb store in the Baldwin hills mall.. Called the peaches herb and vitamin center.. that was so... long ago. Anyway i still . Shop there. 😂😂 the prices are fabulous. Great deals all the time. A great place to shop for Christmas. Or black Friday..coming soon..
Looking at all the recent reviews made me laugh, I can assure you they paid for these reviews and this is why , I live cross the street and just found out the mall still open because all doors are blocked only one entrance and one exit so no one know they open I walked to the mall after one of the stores I shop at posted on Instagram that there open I went in and it was dead zone no customers sadly ,,,, food court I don’t trust ,,,, all stores owners complaining about poor management for the mall , well because there’s no management unfortunately.so if the mall wants to buy reviews at least tell them to make sense with there reviews , the mall looks like it’s going to shut down anytimeI won’t back go anytime soon

I always go here for any movie that comes out. Since I’m a student I only pay $5 for the tickets by just showing my Student ID. I don’t really need to complain about anything. The staff are nice.
Some of the employees need extra training but a 1/10 type of deal. Great family spot alert security etc but dont be scared if you smoke cannabis in car on rooftop nobody cares as long as youre not being disrespectful. Adults that do are very discrete and dont smoke in kids faces so thats a plus.
One if my favorite malls, it has a great variety of stores to choose from. It has a lovely food court and a movie theater near by so its a ideal hangout place! My only complaint is the mall bathrooms are sometimes not clean enough but its alright
Ive been going to this mall for 23 years and I feel like the mall was better when I was younger than right now. Even though the new remodeling is very elegant.... The mall lacks the excitement of good stores. They have more clothing store of the same than they do anything else. Not to be funny but, all the clothes they do have is not that great! The stores dont stay that long and they keep switching stores from upstairs to downstairs again and again. They need to add a toy store for children. The 3 stores they do have that has toys... Upstairs there is a toy store thats very small, very expensive and the people that work in there, well lets just say their face is not on the happy side. Then there is a Hello Kitty store... Which is nice but thats nothing like a toy store. And they have a very small version of Toys R Us. And trust me, there is not much in there thats not the same. I could go on and on but, hey... Its a good mall but it can have so much more potential.
I rate Baldwin Hills Crenshaw overall Selection 8 out of 10 (uniqueness, quality, availability, average customer service, cleanliness, etc)Great place to shop for style that is not commonly seen. Have selections for all ages (New Born to Elderly, Petite to Thicker) Great Selection on food some places you will know and some will be new and worth a try.Surrounding area have improved and becoming truly more soothing for tourist.
This is childhood favorite for me and to see it change overtime with new businesses and diverse groups of people visiting is such a wholesome experience. I recommend coming on the weekends for the farmers market. Absolutely great kettle corn 🥴
I really wish that some of the mall vendors would offer larger sizes in their sports apparel. I found many attractive sports jerseys however none to fit my large body frame. Did acquire Micheal Jordans shoulder bag at a Christmas discount from Foot Action.
Man is small change so much I grew up with this mall with magic Johnson theater was right here this mall was nothing like this before completely different and more to come always going to get five stars to the Crenshaw Mall I was born and raised whenever I was there so that mall was there before me I was born in the 79

Seriously needs to be remodeled the carpets are horrible the does design and color combination on the inside makes it boring to purchase movie tickets and food the outside looks like the DMV it needs a full re facing it needs the look thats going to be timeless especially in the area that its an adjacent to a mall. I wanna to see if I can give this 1A 1/2 of a star but I was nice enough to give it one whole star all grabbed a hammer in the nails you guys grab the pain lets go
I greatly loved to shop in your mall because you have everything that I wanted. Thank you for the bags and other stuff that I bought! Baldwin Hills Crenshaw is one of the strongest and nicest mall know.
In the 2 years that I lived in the area, the Farmers Market moved twice. Not a big problem. The produce options can be a bit better, and the hot food options can be a lot better. On my last visit, they were down to only 2 food vendors, Super Salads (kale salads, and fruit juices), and the tamale woman. The malls food court is small too, but offers more choices. There were other food vendors that appeared for short periods of time. There are vendors of spices, beauty products, a massage station, and health care vendors. There is music played on loud speakers, and an occasional live musician. Overall, this should have more food vendors than goods, and services.
Ive been going here for YEARS, since its rather tumultuous turn around of the early 90s! Factor in that this spot is in the heart of a neighborhood fighting gentrification, and has seen the closure of a Sears, but also a prosperous Walmart, you cant find quality malls like this in the heart of community neighborhoods!! Dont sleep on this mall, come see what makes it unique and judge for yourself!

Still closed but the best peacan bread pudding can be found there at Southern Girl Bakery. I tried just about everything she makes but this bread pudding is on fire. Kudos To the owner

With the Kaiser next door the mall has been having visits from other communities. Thats great. We dont just to share with locals but with travelers and new neighbors. Great dining place too!
I was here for the Melanin Market. It was in the lot to the right of the movie theater. All the vendors were African American and had small businesses. I was happy to go and support black owned small businesses. There was so much to choose from. I believe they rotate locations. I would go again.
This is my home and I love it here. Everything is within a half mile of my residence.
I went to the police traffic station there and was treated with respect and helped as quickly as possible. Good job.

2022-05-14I went to The Black Hair Experience, which was awesome. I was sad to see a lot of the stores have closed in that mall. I used to love coming to thar paticular Ashley Stewart store, they had great selections for that area.

HE STOPPED ME AND YOU NEED A MASK 😷 I IGNORED HIM LIKE I DIDNT SPEAK ENGLISH. SO, HE DECIDED TO FOLLOW ME TO THE FOOD COURTS. I JUST LAUGHED AND ORDERED MY FOOD. THE ONLY GOOD THING IS THE SECURED PARKING STRUCTURES LAPD HAS THERE CARS PARKED IN E SECTION ORANGE AREA. PARK THERE IF YOU CAN.

2022-04-05I went to N&S gifts. I needed batteries in two watches. Todd, the son, is there at the kiosk servicing the customers. He always is pleasant and has been so for many, many years. I always replace my batteries at N&S. Todd and his dad, Stuart (retired) are a fixture at BHC Mall. Their prices are VERY affordable. Great service.

2022-06-05I have been checking the Farmers market for the Alfalfa, sunflower Microgreens and Microgreens Lady! They were so good and tasty on my sandwiches, burgers and salads! That Sister was very informative and correct in her description of the taste. It has now been 3 weeks Ive been there looking for her. Please ask her to come back to the Farmers Market!!! 2019-12-24This place is such a convenient place to go for some nice clothes and what not in stores such as Macy’s, Finish Line, and much more. The food court has a good amount of options, and I sure will consider returning another day. Thank you Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Mall.
