Do yourself a favor and NEVER buy a car from them. In fact, tell everyone you know to never get a car from here!! I bought a car from here a year ago, and I have had issues with it since day 1. Only two months in and my car had already broken down with the only remedy was a new engine! Turns out the car had no oil when it left the lot, when it supposedly was mechanically inspected. Would a mechanic not notice it had ZERO oil??? I don’t know much about cars, but I do know that the mechanics here are lazy LIARS. They say they fixed something and when I had someone who knows about cars look at it & tell me that the mechanics didn’t change a thing. Explains why I had to take it back to the mechanic 4 times in the span of a couple weeks. My car sat in their mechanic shop for 6 MONTHS. I work every day so they provided me with 3 different curtesy cars. Why 3?? Because they all BROKE DOWN!! This dealership sells broken cars and only provides you with a 30 day warranty. They are SCAMMMERS!! They are cheap only because they get the real money from you when it comes to the mechanic bills! And now my car is non drivable after it was apparently “fixed” by them.

Two stars because the lead man helped me a lot when I really needed a car. He was willing to work with me because I had no money for a down payment. He waited for me to save $1000 for about two months and for that Im very thankful. The communication is what deserves 1 star. They said they would call me when my license plate came in and they never did. I had to go and ask for it and it turns out it was saved in a filing cabinet. I got the car in November and got the license plate in January, almost February if Im not wrong (Could have been February). The car I bought had the front Toyota emblem missing and an employee said he ordered it. When he brought out the emblem, it was too small for the car, so he took it back and said he would order another one. He said he would call in two weeks time. 3 months passed and he never called. I had to call and when I did, another employee said that I should have called sooner because they no longer had the emblem. I spoke to the employee that assisted me the first time and he said he would order another one for me and would give me a call back when it arrived. Its been nearly, if not more than, two months and Im still waiting for the call. Good customer service, bad communication. Im a very patient person, as you can see by the amount of time that has passed, but what I dont like is having no communication whatsoever.
I’m very happy to write this as I just got my Honda Fit today!!! :) I saw it a few days ago and went in for a test drive. Everything good! Came back and Vincente and Juan was very very helpful! They helped me with the entire process! Getting it financed, getting a great APR rate and working with me. Just bought a 2017 Nissan Versa from Bahia Auto Sales. After visiting around 8 dealerships in National City Mile of Cars and others in Chula Vista I arrived at Bahia Auto Sales as my brother in law highly recommended them. When I arrived I was greeted by Vicente who is the owner. He asked me what type of car I was looking for and what was my budget. He was very genuine and after discussing some cars on his lot I knew I was at the right place. I couldnt park on the carlot. The driveway was blocked. No one came out of the building. Went looking for someone and the salesman was in the toilet. Just him and a receptionist. The truck I saw in carsguru was in bad shape. Missing parts. I was not impressed.

Really recommend this place for used cars ! They make sure everything is new like the battery and oil change before handing it to you . And the service was incredible, Juan really tried to help us out and figure out the best solution.
The salesmen there are great people, really friendly and all. However, the mechanic is horrible, I told him several times that there was issues with the car and he kept saying that the car was fine, which wasnt true. I had to fix the car myself. Again the salesmen are great but the mechanic guy sucks.

I bought a used pickup truck, and similar to the story before this one. regular maintenance...the engine failed after 35 days; after contacting them and asking them to fix the problem, they did...sort of..they took it to a local shop around the corner to fix it, yet they never told me what was the problem...just miss-firing, after a few months when they were no longer responsible it broke down again, mechanic told me that there is water passing to the engine, the head no longer was good...shortly after that, the pistons crapped out, and ever since im stuck with this car.all in all, what they want is you to sign and then you are on your own...so take that car to a mechanic you can trust!

Id really advise anybody whos looking for a car to stop by Bahia Auto sales.and ask for Nissim. I was literally in the lot for five seconds and they make you feel welcome. Ieave been driving the car and it works perfectly, not like other dealers were you feel like you got cheated after you buy it. Even for a first time buyer Nissim made it very easy and helped us a lot .
I was satisfied whit the customer service, a week after I buy the car started giving problems, I return with the car to bahia auto sales, because it had oil in the coolant, they kept the car for 3 days, next week one of the lights came on, I return again and they kept the car again for two days, the two times they kept the car bahia auto sales were telling me that nothing was wrong with the car, that everything was perfect, last month I bought the car to my mechanic started giving me problem with the time chain, I ask him if he can take the radiator to be cleaned, he took the radiator, when they open the radiator to clean they found out that at piaces a plastic from a silicone that they use for the head gasket, when I took the car for the first time when it had oil on the coolant, they use silicone, instead of repairing the head gasket.
Yesterday was my best time ever Tony found me a bank to approve me and a low APR for my first time car buyer and other car lots was saying crazy down payments and 20% interest all kind crazy stuff but Tony got my deal done without me leaving my office and got pick my car up on way home from work...Tony The Best!!!!!!!!!

2022-07-12We went here to upgrade my husbands 2006 vehicle before it became a money pit. We already bought my vehicle here a year and a half ago. They have very fair and reasonable prices and they are upfront about the pricing. Getting financed and everything is very easy. Juan knows what hes doing. They give fair trade in value also. This is a family owned business and I recommend them to anyone in the market for a used car. Great people. Trustworthy. Good, sound vehicles. No lemons. If you spot an issue they will fix it. Cant say enough of how great our experiences have been buying from Bahia.

2021-12-10The family of Bahia Auto Sales were so WONDERFUL to me that Im not sure I can put it in words! I had been searching for a vehicle for over 2 months after being hit from behind on the freeway. A friend was super gracious and felt led to help me out with half the cost. We went to Bahia looking for a specific vehicle that wasnt on the lot because they had been kind to another customer and had lent it out. We were shown another one that was out of our price range but the owner over the phone said he would sell it lower, but it was still over the amount we had on hand. We checked it out anyway and found a couple things wrong. They said they would have it fixed, still for the same price. After a test drive, the owner showed up and had a conversation with my friend and her husband. When he heard they were helping me because of my struggles, he decided he wanted to do the same. He brought the price down again AND helped me get a great warranty!!! The family of Bahia were Super Nice, Considerate, and Amazing with all they did to help me get an Awesome vehicle I never thought I could afford!!! Out of all the vehicles I looked at, this was the cleanest and nicest looking one I saw on all the used lots. They take pride in the appearance of the vehicles they sell.

2022-01-27The worst experience Ive had buying a car. They sold me this car and the next day I took it out the lot, the check engine light turned on. They ran my credit 13 times without my consent and lied about a lot of things and said they fixed the car after more than 2 weeks of having the car and the next day they gave it to us, the check engine light turned on again. I ended up returning the car because I didnt want any further issues with it. Be careful if they sell you this car because not even they knew what it had.
