We stayed at this hotel for four nights, it was a pleasant stay in a convenient location. The hotel is a bit dated, but kept well, and the staff are kind and accommodating.Pros:- (mostly) clean room- spacious- convenient area- friendly, masked staff- decent amenities- included continental breakfastCons:- parking is $10/day on top of the price of the room- room cleanliness: the headboard had weird sticky spots like someone had splashed tea or soda, the curtains had a substantial what looked to be a blood stain they attempted to wash, judging by the color, the carpet had a few odd stains- odd flickering horror movie lights every time we turn them on- “hotel room smell” you know the one

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! It is my go to location when we go to Disneyland!! Impeccable staff, immaculate rooms, comfortable beds, very affordable, a generous breakfast, beautiful decor, & the list goes on! Not to mention they have gone above and beyond for both times we stayed for both of my daughters 5th birthdays!!! Both times we stayed there, they had Balloons in the room, gorgeous flowers, favorite candies & they made my girls feel like royalty!!! I highly recommend you stay here, you will not regret it!

We had never stayed at an Ayres Hotel before, so we were a little anxious about our accommodations for our Disneyland vacation. Well, we need not have worried because it was a great experience. The room was large and clean, the beds were comfortable, the free hot breakfast was delicious and filling, and the service, all the way from the front desk to housekeeping, was fantastic. One especially bright spot was Jose who served us breakfast most mornings. He has worked for the company for over 20 years and he was terrific. One small thing to watch out for: This hotel charges $1.00 for each phone call made from its hotel phone. Just for fun - our youngest made several phone calls to our cell phones from the hotel phone and we ended up being charged for this. Not a big deal, but a very small detractor from an otherwise perfect experience.

Positive: Super close to Honda Center, literally a walk across the street so great if you are attending an event there. Breakfast was included, good coffee and hot food options, noon check out was appreciated too. Parking is $10. Negative: Hot tub closed at 10pm, would have liked to use it. Hallway carpet cleaner machine running at 9:30am, wish that was done later in the day.

Fabulous experience. Only missing a bar in the lobby. Incredibly delicious breakfast buffet. Beautiful large rooms. The most helpful and friendly front desk staff. Loved it

Pros: Our room was very nice, exceptionally clean and spacious, hotel lobby was beautiful and well kept, continental breakfast was great as well, staff in the breakfast area were the absolute best and so kind to us! We are traveling with 2 dogs so we were happy to see a designated potty area with a waste station for our pups. Loved how centrally located this hotel is to everything, as well as the many food options available.Cons: Disastrous misinformation! This is the reason I’m leaving only 3 stars. My husband and I travel a lot for work, which can be difficult on its own but adding in 2 pets it gets a bit trickier, I’ve learned from experience to call ahead to potential hotels and ask Q’s about pet policies, fees, and other important questions one might find relevant to their stay. Before booking I called this hotel TWICE and asked what their pet policy and fees were, I was told both times it was $30 for both dogs for the duration of the stay, not per day. When we checked in that answer changed to $30 per pet, per day which for us added an additional $180. Whatever, I was frustrated by it but blew it off because what were we going to do at that point after traveling 3 hours. I also inquired about a late check out, was told 4:30 was the latest….. today our final day here, I figured I should double check and ask again, time changed now to 3pm, due to my husbands work schedule I can’t check out at 3, so we had no other choice but to leave at standard check out time of noon. Unfortunately due to this I’ll be sitting in our car with our 2 dogs at my husbands job until 8 tonight. It would have made things a lot easier to stay till 4:30 and only sit for roughly 4 hours versus 8. If we would have had correct information I would not have booked here, I could have stayed at another hotel we were considering with a 5pm late check out and $100 pet fee and wouldn’t have to deal with the current situation and extra cost. Also 2 other small issues, we found a few ants in the bathroom area trailing up the wall and a few around the sink, 2nd concern, they don’t enforce mask wearing, employees have them on, guests don’t, there’s signage reminding people to stay masked but like most other places in SoCal, staff aren’t saying anything if you won’t.

Ayres hotels in general is one of my favorite place to stay. We often choose this one, particularly, because its close to Anaheim ice skating rink and Disneyland. Spacious, clean, and classical decor interior, which is nice.

What an amazing set of staff at this hotel. The hotel is a little older, sure, but it was incredibly clean. You can smell the cleanliness of the sheets the moment you walk into a room, and not a spot or hair in the bathrooms. The pool is great, location is great, I cant say nice enough things about this place.I was a little skeptical of some of the reviews speaking of the musty odors, as I have sensitive senses, but it really didnt bother me. There was a slight older hotel room smell, but I mostly smelt the cleaning products (in a good way). The air conditioner didnt have an odor, which I find most hotels do, the hallways didnt have an outstanding smell one way or another, and the lobby just smelt like pool and the buffet area. The rooms had some minor issues: yes, some stains on the floor, some of the lampshades and curtains were not in great shape, but the rest of the room was so well kept, it really didnt bother me. Most hotels have carpet stains of some type...its a hotel. Whether you see them or not, you dont want to know whats really there. The curtains, same. Ive stayed in Fairmonts with stained/holey curtains. What does it really matter? It was only the blackout curtains that had this issue in our room anyway, and it was a few marks which could have come from a dryer to be honest. Overall, the bed and pillows were not of my personal preference in terms of softness (they were too soft for me), but still super clean and comfortable, and high quality. The buffet was a relief. The meal is served to you with a few self-service stations, but I was really impressed with the quality for a free buffet. Usually, you dont get the greatest options and the food is less than edible, but this was not the case here. The staff were outstanding.Staff at the front desk were great. They were super helpful with reassurance of area go-tos for restaurants and the ART bus option for Disney.I heard from others that the area was not great and a little rough, but I didnt find this at all. I felt safe enough to walk to and from the hotel at night, coming from a restaurant area to the east, but I was with my husband. Dont think I would walk around alone at night, but that could be said about any city. The area was so close to Disney, walking back to the hotel one night, we stopped at the Honda center parking lot to view the fireworks. If youre on the west side of the hotel and a higher floor, you can probably get a great view of the show. In addition, if you have a car, theres everything from an In N Out to Trader Joes about 10 mins away from the hotel to the NE.The pool had a great little area and hot tub that was welcoming after a long day of walking. It has trees around it to catch some needed shade as well. Its small, but if you go during non-peak hours/days, you can grab it all to yourself and have a great time.I highly recommend this hotel, will be returning and I didnt want to leave. Anaheim is awesome and this hotel really improved my experience.

Positive: I travel a far amount, and I must say that this hotel meets and exceeds expectations in every category. Clean, clean, clean throughout room and facility! Very courteous staff in every department. Great free breakfast. No worries on this hotel!
