Hello all, 04/16/2021Several days ago, I was having problems with my old pickup and stopped by the AutoZone store - the one on Lake Ave near the 210 freeway - to get a couple of parts. When I came out and started up, steam was coming out of the heater vent. I turned off the heater, and saw more steam with liquid spilling on the ground. Serious stuff. Not having my phone I went in to ask if I could use theirs to call the AAA. One of the clerks took my card, made the call, and before long the tow truck arrived. The driver said hed tow to where I needed to go, but he couldnt take me. It was the companys pandemic policy, and he had already got a warning ticket.So back into the store I went, explained the situation to the clerk who had helped, so I could call a cab for a ride. He said he would call. I went outside to wait for the ride. In a few minutes a man came out of the store and said, Lets go. That was quick, I thought. After we climbed into his parked truck, I asked what company he was driving for, and he explained.I was going home anyway, and the boss asked if I would take you home first. He said, not to use my own, but use the company vehicle to do it.We had a very amiable chat on the way. And I promise to be a loyal customer of AutoZone from now on after the managers fine, fine act of humanity.peace,greg
My alternator died on the 210 fwy and I was barely able to make it off the freeway before my battery finally died. I wasn’t anywhere near my house or my destination I was half a block away from this autozone. I can’t remember the guys first name but his last name was Espinoza. He was so helpful in getting me a new alternator and battery. He helped me get the parts and tools I needed to be able to get my car up and running on the side of the road. He was even nice enough to give me a ride back to my car so I didn’t have to walk back with everything. When I went back to return the core items he even offered to let me wash my hands in their restroom. His mood and helpfulness turned a bad moment into just a bump in the road that I was able to laugh and smile about. Within 30 minutes I was back on the road like nothing happened. I highly recommend this autozone as the people here know what they’re doing and are really helpful. I don’t think I’ve had a bad experience at Autozone to be honest, but if this Autozone wasn’t so far from me I’d make it my regular place. Wish all the people that worked there worked closer to me. Honestly, everyone that helped me get back on the road that day were so nice, and helped me get through this without getting upset. Thanks guys!
It gets busy after I stood & waited 5+ minutes, 4-5 customers lined up behind me. It was obvious the store employees of 3 males and 1 female tried to do their best assisting customers, although it was noticeable that seems almost always the staff needed to check with the male manager for just about anything, unsure it was bcoz all the staff are new on the job or could be thats the store/ company procedures....
I am high risk for Covid and have been avoiding going out in public since March. I dont even go grocery shopping. However, my car battery kept dying from lack of use. A neighbor who jump started me suggested I have it tested. I barely set foot in the door of Auto Zone and shouted for somebody to please come outside to help me. Joseph came outside, listened to my concerns, tested my battery, suggested replacement, obtained the replacement battery for me and installed it all while I waited outside. He was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I am extremely GRATEFUL for the exceptional socially distanced service he provided and how comfortable he made me feel throughout the encounter.Thank you Joseph. You ROCK! :-)
Mike E. is was so helpful and patience and professional! My husband and i went to get our battery checked. The warranty had expired a week before the expiration date for a replacement. I explained to him that I has taken it to the AutoZone near my house in Highland park but i was informed that they battery services checker was broken. The battery is heavy so I had to wait for my husband to bring it to another store. Mike E. was so understanding that he held up the agreement. Thank you so much Mike E. Purchased top of the line windshield wipers, they install free, engine and cabin air filters to install myself. They were out of the cabin filter, I prepaid and they ordered and were to call next day once they received the next day between 10 am - 12pm. Didnt get a call all day, so I expect a call today.The guy that came out to install the wipers was very unpleasant, and took over an hour to come out . Didnt say a word to me and walked away. I stopped him to ask a quick question regarding the wipers, and he was rude and annoyed to be bothered. At a time like this, when a lot of the other locations were closed down, he should be glad to have a job.
Helpful staff and free battery and alternator testing. I had an issue with my truck not starting. I needed to get a jump start the last couple of days. I want sure if it was the battery or alternator. They ran their test and hooked me up with a new battery. Starts perfectly now. Thanks Auto Zone!
Phenomenal. Michael was superb. I always go to an Auto Zone for bulbs for my low beams and I always need help because I am a solo dweller and I have the heaviest hood in the world (an old car) and always need two people to help me change out bulbs. One to hold the hood, the other to do the work. Michael paid special attention to my needs, helped me with the purchase and with the bulbs and set me off on my way. Will definitely return.
I bought a new Gold car battery with a 3-year warranty on 8/3/20 along with some special plugs they recommended to prevent corrosion but I never received a receipt. When I asked for one the cashier said he gave it to me which wasnt true.The technician installed the car battery for me.Then on 8/12 my car battery was drained for no reason. I jump started it and within 10 minutes the electric turned off in my car completely. I couldnt roll down the power windows, I couldnt switch my car out of park and I broke down in the middle of a busy street with a line of cars behind me--unable to out on my emergency lights.I called the police and AAA. AAA sent a tow truck within 10 minutes and fortunately they arrived before the police. Upon examining, the tow truck driver discovered the metal band for the red cap was never tightened which lead to corrosion. He had to scrape and clean that, tighten it then said Id need a new one.I couldve died because of their negligence installing the battery.
Everytime I come to an autozone, Im reminded of how useless their customer service is. Came in looking for replacement plastic fasteners. They told me that dont have any vehicle specific and to go look for it myself where its hung on display. I showed them the multiple SKUs that they have on their website for the fasteners that I need and still the same answer. If I wanted to look for myself, I would have bought them online where is a fraction of the cost. Lazy, unhelpful, completely useless employees.
Oh this auto store is much better than others Ive been to. They always have the parts I need. This time my tail light was out and the guy here not only found the right part immediately, he also went to my car and used his tools to unscrew the light and popped in the new bulb for me. Wow! Love the customer service here. Thank you AutoZone!
Good service every time i visit this store . I needed to replace a dead battery, that was still under warranty. They did not argue, checked the battery and gave me a new one. I think that they understood the power that online reviews can have, and they decided to invest in their customers service.I got what I needed, I didnt need to go through argues with anyone. I an happy with the service I got here.
Every time I come here, the service has been top notch. Excellent customer service, knowledgable and professional staff + they have what you need in store.No waiting for them to order from their AutoZone Distribution Center or any of that non-sense. Be warned though, it may take a minute to be helped if its crowded or busy. This staff is very attentive.
I really appreciate Leonard and Fernando for helping me out. Not only was I stranded but I couldnt charge my phone and they helped me so I could contact my employees and take care of what I needed to do. They were both concerned about my well being.Good customer service goes a long way. I would definitely recommend this Autozone.
I have been in many Autozones, good service overall, but not enough to place a review either good or bad, I got in trouble late in the afternoon with my vehicle and the mechanic did not want to to come to Pasadena from Hollywood, about 20 miles apart, so i went to autozone and they had everything I needed for an easy fix, One person stood out more than the others that day, his name is Jose Luis, he was helpful at all times, and while I was fixing my problem I saw Jose Luis coming out to the lot, and really helping customers with their problems and needs, excellent job Autozone Pasadena.
Thank you Adam K for helping me with my car problems and recommending on what type of oil to use on a high mileage vehicle without using the computer and remebering off the top of your head. Adam was very patient with my questions over the phone. Thanks for the great customer service, I recomend coming here if car assistance and auto parts are needed. Welcome to the Zone!
I give this Autozone 5-stars because 1. The clerk opened a second register to process my payment for a quart of oil while the other persons card was processing. At first, I was shocked that another clerk chose to take an odb code reader out the door to help another customer instead of bringing me up real quick, but right away the other clerk jumped in and helped me. That and the location is a quick off and on the 210 Lake Exit in Pasadena made this Autozone my preferred choice.

2022-01-01Mostly usually always satisfied. Tonight, be it what it may, the website says its open and when I get here the employees watch me head passed them to the door and not say a word. AS I TUG ON A LOCKED DOOR they pull off quick as I came.

2022-04-19Said they had a universal oil cap in stock when I called them, but when I showed up at the store they couldnt find it and couldnt care less that they wasted my time. Go to OReillys instead.

2021-07-13Today I went to Auto Zone to exchange a steering wheel cover because I thought it was too small for my steering wheel. After arriving to the store and calling to let them know why I was there , i was told I didn’t have to get my walker out, that someone would be right out to help me. Christian, the employee wearing a Red Shirt, came out and put the steering wheel cover on for me. Service don’t get any better than this. I’m giving the Store Management and Employee a 5 Star Rating. 2021-08-18I have called the autozone here in PASADENA several times only to be placed on hold for long periods and when I call back. Hold again... I decided to drive to the store this last time after being told they was assisting customers and was busy only to walk into a empty store and sales reps standing and talking... this location is on lake. I asked who placed me on hold and they all said not me... as if in unison... my wish is that, corporate address this issue. As it happens often at this location..
