Almost as if autozone employs the people with the least knowledge about vehicles. Welcome to autozone can i get you the absolute wrong part for your car everytime. Then have you wait in line to pay for 20 mins while other employees are trying to look like theyre doing something so they wont have to do anything.
The weather has been crazy in Bakersfield with the rain, hail, thunder lightening and the tornado warning! I’m sure this makes people act a little wacky as well, and I know with the first big rain after summer, wipers were flying off the shelves! I called the Auto Zone on Olive Dr to see if they had my wipers in stock and the man who answered the phone was so incredibly rude before he even knew why I was calling. Anything I asked him, he acted as though I was nothing except a giant inconvenience! However when I called the Auto Zone on Rosedale Hwy, I spoke with a gentleman named Deemond I believe, and he was the complete opposite. Even though they didn’t have why I needed in stock, he was polite and patient, he didn’t cut me off when I spoke, he didn’t sound irritated that he had to answer the phone, he didn’t become frustrated when I asked if he could check other locations for what I needed, etc. I appreciated his kind tone and the time he took to help me.
Autozone parking was ample at this location and clean. Upon entering the store everything is well organized and stocked. I was greeted when I entered and asked if I needed assistance. The associate got the part that I needed promptly and rang it up. I thanked him and left. It was a pretty easy, quick, and efficient trip.
Give me a break, all these good reviews must be fake (probably friends and family of employees). Ive been in there 5 times and all but one the customer service was horrible or non-exsistant. The employees were having vulgar conversations that customers could hear and tried to avoid helping, if possible. They need new management. The only thing good about this place is location, but in future I will avoid it. Go to one on N Chester, they are much better.
Go elsewhere... also dont worry about your online orders. They cant manage to get those handled. And do they call ya if they dont actually have what you were lead to believe they had? You might be thinking to yourself. Oh youre in luck because I can answer that for you...nah. They most certainly do not.
I was trying to get a price and availability for a radiator for my Ford Ranger. The phone rang 15 times before a female answered and asked me if I could hold for a minute. I waited for 5 minutes listening to their music and nobody came to the for to help me. So, I hing up and called a competitor.
Itsy was incredibly nice! From the moment I walked in to the store she greeted me and helped me find the things I needed for both my cars. I would definitely recommend this location (Rosedale HWY) to any one who needs these services. She even installed them for me. I’m a disabled Vet and she also gave me a military discount. Thank you, Itsy, for making this trip less painful than I thought it was going to be. You are awesome, girl!!!!!
If you need something quick this place might have to do. But the parts are much more expensive than online and their staff isnt very motivated to be helpful. A guy insisted on finding me the right size wipers for my car rather than letting me find it myself and I walked out with the wrong size wipers.
TERRIBLE service!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! Every time I have walked into this store it was instant REGRET. My husband just left there and was accused of stealing because he went outside to get better measurements for the U bolt he wanted to buy for our truck. Then when I go to call the store(not even 5min after all this) to tell them what a huge mistake they made accusing my husband, the guy (conveniently) wasnt there. Im so angry right now.I wish I didnt have to give them a star.....
I went in today at around 4 pm on march 20th 2018 for windshield wiper blades. Paid in cash. Here is how that went:I guess in order to work here, your customer service skills must be a 1 on a 1 to 10 scale. Not greeted by the female or the guy at the register. They actually kind of looked at me as if I was an inconvenience. You work at auto zone, I get it, but come on, maybe be a little courteous? Too bad I didnt get any names as they ran off with disgust in their eyes so the manager could take notice, but considering these people were hired, I doubt the manager even cares. At least I was given the correct change back, so there you go. Save your time, money and a headache, go to OReillys on coffee instead.
Rude and inattentive. Does customer service mean anything to anyone anymore? Its no wonder people are buying online more. If you brick and mortar companies want to compete, you better step up your game. Places like Amazon already have lower prices than you do, the only way youll win our business is by being the local, frindley, go to shop. Get rid of your bad attitude employees fast. Ill never be back here again.
Bud or butt what ever his name is was rude over the phone and in person! I was just asking a simple question and need help he acted like I was bother him or something! It’s your job to help customers don’t like it get another job, other then that store is clean and nice
Dont ever deal with Customer Service Ryan Moreland at this location. Just walked out after dealing with him and now Im sitting in my car to write this review after my experience here. After waiting in line to ask if they had an air filter in stock which I had a part number for, he was very bitter when I requested the OEM Motorcraft brand rather than STP. I asked if any other store can order it and in a surprisingly rude tone he responded with well no because we all order from the same place so that wouldnt make sense. Again he suggested the STP brand over Motorcraft, but I said Id rather go with the same manufacturer as my car recommends also since the STP brand got bad reviews. He just said back to me well people make stuff up. Literally cant make THIS up. You dont make a sale on an argument. You either have it or you dont and now I wont ever come back to this Auto Zone location. I get that you can catch people in a bad mood sometimes, but this instance stood out and was absolutely rediculous.
I dread going to this location, always feels understaffed. A 5 minute trip will cost you 30. Sometimes theyre the only one in your area with what youre looking for. I ordered online, got a confirmation email that it was pulled. Arrive to find theyre short one item. 30 minutes later, Im behind schedule to pick up the kid, and leaving without one of the confirmed items. So much for the whole online order expediency. I hate leaving a negative review, but this AZ location is my very last choice, and I will often drive across town instead of going here.
I ordered heater core at 1, the guy told me it will be here at 8pm. I called to see if it there but no one answered. I called 3 time every 20min. So decided to go there. When i was there i told the guy i ordered heater core and told him that thw guy on the phone said it would be here at 8. So he went and check but he said its not here, he told me it should be here tomorrow. If i would of known it wouldnt be here i wouldnt have ordered it
Unlike other locations in town, the employees here seemed bothered when asked to help. When finally one offered to help her just told me in which isle my part could be found but that was it and then went back to talk to the other employees. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong part. I had to go to the closest OReilly where an employee actually check in the computer to find the right part.Poor customer service.
Horrible service everytime i go into the store and even over the phone (thats if they even bother answering their calls). The employees are not as knowledgeable about which products they carry, even with a computer in front of them, some may have trouble broswing their own inventory to locate an item. I highly suggest visiting a different store if you want to save time and be less stress. Sadly, this store is the closest one to my house so i still make my runs here and put up with their crap. Never have i been satisfied with their service.
Some of the new workers require a little experience to slow their roll and be a little less assertive. I dont think they have the right mindset yet, however, I still had a good experience with the parts I needed. I really dont care for attitude but I have to review my experience. Just take the money for the right part = happy customers.
It was near closing time and I was still able to get the parts I needed. Jay was very thorough in researching the wiper blades needed for my Jeep. He took time to explain the differences in brands and actually came out to the vehicle to make sure they were the right fit. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. He was proactive in assisting me with my purchase.

2022-06-08I went in at 735 thinking they would give me a difficult time trying to exchange my battery. Instead, Damon came out and tested it. It tested bad. He went inside and looked up the warranty and replaced the battery and had me out the door before 8. The only problem was I thought I would be off half the day jumping through hoops. Instead I had enough time to go to work. Who knew he would be that efficient. Now I had to work. Great service. I am satisfied.

2020-12-02I stopped off today at AutoZone to pick up a new set of windshield wipers. There are various brands, sizes to choose from. A store clerk named David saw that I was having difficulty and immediately looked up what size I needed. David explained the differences between each brand.. I selected a pair and David asked if I needed assistance putting them on. David walked outside and installed them on my truck for me as a service to their customers. Thank you David.

2022-03-15Went in used a card associate asked for phone number he ask if our name was. Said yes bought part went home didnt fit went back an they have no 8nfo on our purchase I cant find receipt I dont think they gave us one. Wanted to five me store credit cause they dont have right part an im like no now I have to go buy somewhere else so need the money an that was a no. Maybe they need to check there cameras an see who pocketed the money. Cause I went back within an hour person I was trying to do exchange with badge says manager but he had no clue what he was doing had to keep asking guy beside him.

2021-12-15Came on a rainy day. It wasn’t busy. The employee at the front seem new and didn’t give enough info on my part needed. I asked the manager for help and he gave me an attitude and seem flustered and refused to help me. Manager or supervisor needs to be demoted or retrained. Found the wipers I needed on my own. 12/14/21
