Upon arriving in Auburn in my 2016 2500 RAM towing a 30 ft. 5th wheel trailer it started having clutch problems. On Friday afternoon I called Auburn Auto Doctors and spoke to Wayne. After explaining the problem he said he would order some parts and to bring it in Monday morning first thing. They wanted to replace the sIave valve and clutch cylinder but after finding the oil leak damage I elected to have the whole clutch assembly replaced. I told him I had to leave Wednesday morning so they worked extra hours to get it done on time! I am very satisfied with the work they did and the help from the entire staff. I highly recommend this business. 👌

Brought van into to get window fixed and they took great care of us, shuttled us to lunch and picked us back up after a movie, the vehicle wasnt going to be ready that day so they let us use a loaner vehicle at no charge and did a full vehicle courtesy inspection.. thank you auto doctor..

I chose Auburn Auto Doctors based on internet reviews and Im glad I did. They were professional, competitively priced, communicative, and very thorough. They went out of their way to find me a turbo for not only a good price, but with a better warranty than the dealer offered. Additionally, they performed an in depth vehicle inspection, and provided a link for me to view their findings online with pictures, descriptions, and recommendations. This was way above and beyond anything Ive ever experienced with other shops. VERY helpful. My truck was ready when they said it would be, and Ill definitely be bringing all my vehicles here in the future. Thank you, guys!!!
My truck was towed to the shop it didnt want to start and once at the shop it started this happened before and Auburn Auto Doctors continued to test it and finally it would not start again and they could diagnose the problem and repair it. The staff was amazing and always keep me in the loop so thank you for all your hard work
I was just looking for a new place to get my oil changed. What I got was some of the best service hands down. Wayne and everyone made me feel like a long-time customer. Their inspection was top notch, caught a couple items that had never been found but could have caused some major issues down the road. The prices were in line with just about every other place, but the quality is beyond compare. Thank you for the great service, I know where my family will be taking their cars and trucks for oil changes for now on.
Wayne & Marco are great. The reports they send on the vehicle during diagnosis are thorough and show pictures so you can visually see the issues being called out. I also love how they vacuum and wipe down the car at the end of service. It’s a nice touch.

I had a knocking in my wheel and was worried there was a severe suspension problem. Our normal mechanic was booked 3 days out. I called Auburn Auto Doctors at 8:00 am and they answered the phone and told me to bring it right in. They diagnosed it that same day and fixed it. It turned out to be a minor piece of plastic knocking around and they charged me accordingly. They were efficient, reasonable, friendly, and competent. I will go back to them again.

I had a problem with my car not starting when its warm so they put in a new starter i picked it up 2 days later same problem ...i called them they told me being it in asap i did they had the car for over a week and i believe found the problem which was quite a difficult matter.... You see the people i purchased the car from put in an after market gps system into the car and that seemed to be shorting out the ignition which made the starter hot to shut down the car i guess??? Something like that so they put in a new ignition and took out the faultly gps system and so far the car has started everytime. I am so happy and amazed. Thank you auburn auto doctors for standing behind your work and keeping on my difficult car im am so grateful it is fixed finally its taken 5 certified mechanics and 4 long months of leaving my car running all day long because i couldnt turn it off once i started it because it wouldnt start again. I brought in my vehicle after it died on the road to be fixed. Died again in their lot after picking it up. Waste of money and time. They clearly dont know what they are doing, but bribe you to leave a 5 star review which explains a lot. A friend of mine had a similar experience and left a review, only for their review to be hidden. Very shady.
These guys when above and beyond to fix my BMW and get me back on the road ASAP. When all shops in the Tahoe area were booked for 2 weeks, I was able to tow my car to Auburn with AAA and get immediate attention here. They always answered the phone, provided clear communication on the repair status and next steps, and provided competitive pricing without any delay. I highly recommend the team!

If youre shopping around and not sure which shop to choose, call these guys. Theyre honest and very pleasant to do business with. I found them from a Google search when I broke down in the area. They were busy, but still managed to get my car into the shop first thing the following morning. Flash forward a few months, my partner and I both need some work done on our cars. I made an appt with Auburn Auto Doctors, even though we live two hours away.This is hands down the best place to get a thorough vehicle inspection done.
I had called a few places discussing the issue I was having with my 2013 Ford Taurus. When I called Auburn Auto Doctors and spoke initially with Jeremy I was pleasantly surprised how friendly he was. I decided to take my car there because of this. They did a great job on my car and found what my issue was (bad wheel bearrings) and also discovered issues with my brakes. The repairs were done quickly and they updated me along the way. The pricing was fair and I will be a return customer. Thank you Collin and Jeremy!
Went in for an alignment they took care of me right away and answered questions i had while i was waiting. They warned me of a recomended brake service but didnt push me to spend more money on it today. Overall great experience and knowledgeable staff.

Great service and very friendly informative experience! I took my mustang here for an alignment and a few other things and I am a very picky person with who works on my vehicle. They got the job done very will darn perfect alignment with my track package, I see other high end vehicles use their service as well. I had a few performance question they answered in detail, even taking the time to explain the rules and regulations that coincide with each part. 5/5 loved the experience!

I trust the staff to always help make the right decision regarding what work needs to be done, and to be up front about costs and what my vehicle needs.A few years ago, as my car started to get older and showing its age, I needed a reliable mechanic to keep it running well. After asking around with friends and family, Auburn Auto Doctors came up and I decided to give them a shot. Now, nearly 5 years later, whenever I have a problem with any vehicle, the only option is Auto Doctors.The staff are always friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, but theyre not stuck up and pseudo professional like at a dealership; theyll chat with you, joke around, and they clearly enjoy their work, which makes the experience of getting mechanic work done there much more casual and friendly. Theyre also never pushy about what work they want you to get done, theyll tell you up front what needs work, what the estimate is, and then let you decide what to do.On the rare occasion that something has come up and been faulty or defective after theyve worked on it, theyve repaired it no questions asked, which is awesome and I appreciate their team for always standing by their work.Overall, they might not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, and Auto Doctors is in my opinion the best around.

I scheduled a 4 wheel alignment through the yelp app with the owner Wayne. His communication was great and i got an appointment booked within two days.i dropped the car off at 8am and they lent me a loaner car so i could get to work while they did an alignment and courtesy inspection, that was a big plus!I was happy with the service they provided and i didnt feel they were trying to push me to do some of the other recommended services on my 2013 mazda 3. they gave me a very detailed email breakdown of all the services they recommended, price estimates, priority, and why they are recommended.My car drives much straighter now and I can start planing on what kind of work ill get done next. Very satisfied with the service provided! thanks guys.

Their communications were timely, accurate and detailed. Especially the complete report at the end, it was very thorough and helpful. All of the staff was very knowledgeable and courteous.
Just always honest and informative. Easy to get in touch with. Its the little things I appreciate, like the way they always send me a link with a detailed description of either whats wrong with my car, if its broken down or just whats done if its an oil change or maintenance and I have to admit I love the cookies that they leave on my stearing wheel with every service.
They replaced my spark plugs and actually initially misquoted my work. Adjusted it down since the price for the plugs was less than previously quoted. Very honest and saved me money. Collin helped me and he provided fast and awesome service. Also they are local Chamber members and very involved in the community. I highly recommend them.
Auburn Auto Doctors has serviced my car well. I am a big fan of the detailed reports they give of their findings. They include photographs of the fluids and problem areas of the car in a web based report sent after service. Very nice.

I was driving from Reno to SF when my AC went out. I pulled into Auburn and lucky me, I found Auburn Auto Doctors. They took my right in and began to diagnose my cars problem. Colin, Jeremy, Kimberley were all amazing. They spent over 2 hours working on my car. And, what I liked best was not only were they thurough in evaluating my car, but since I was a drop in, they said, In order to finish the work on other customers cars on time, we need to stop working on your car for now. I thought this was incredibly respectful, how they were honoring their committment to existing customers while being as accomodating as they could to me. I would drive the hour and a half from my house again, just to have these guys work on my car. AWESOME!!!

2022-06-08In all my 10years of owning a vehicle and bringing to mechanics and shops, I have NEVER had this amazing experience. Usually mechanics want to give the quickest answer just to get you out of the door or get u to do more for your car than needed. This place is not only extremely informative, without me having to ask a million questions and feeling like Im badgering or bothering, the manager is very thorough clear and informative with all information without me even having to ask too many questions, he gives full answers and really let me know everything I needed to know, I feel like I actually know my car after leaving this place. I have no open ended wonders about what was done or what needs to be done. They are VERY thorough informative honest and very hospitable kind and patient with making sure their customers are on the same page as far as whats going on with our vehicles. I appreciate this place SO MUCH. It will be my regular shop, even if I move back to Sacramento. It is worth driving the extra mile to get your vehicle in this shop. The manager/owner is amazing. Very honest and kind guy through and through. It was very refreshing to see and experience at an auto repair shop. As well, great prices. Nothing is overcharged.Payed for air conditioning repair, battery connector piece replacement and leak check diagnostic

2022-07-20Exceptional service. The communication was thorough, including a detailed examination with pictures. I loved the rating (red, yellow, green) and explanation of what needs to be repaired now and what can wait, not pushing you to fix something this visit. I desperately needed 4 new tires (included picture of treading) and although the shop doesnt have tires for sale Marco was able to find me 4 tires so that I could take care of everything there!!!! Marco was/is amazing!!!! Above and beyond GREAT customer service!!!! And my car is running smoothly too! Highly recommend! Thank you!!!!!

2022-07-21We had an emergency with our car overheating on our way back to the Bay Area from a backpacking trip. It was 100 degrees outside and we had two dogs with us. They not only diagnosed our car for us as soon as we got there, despite being busy but also let us and our dogs hang out in the office while they worked- feeding us snacks and drinks. We were stuck and they could have charged us anything but instead they were amazingly honest, let us know all we needed was an eight dollar fuse (!), fixed the car and test drove it to make sure everything worked all within a couple hours!!! Amazing honest service and a great team of professionals!

2022-02-22The guys at Auburn Auto Doctors are extremely friendly!My AC Unit needed to be replaced, and was causing loud knocking noises. It now works fantastic, and no more obnoxious noises.They were also kind enough to give me a ride to and from their shop.I definitely recommend them, and will be returning for any other car needs.
