There is always world-class art and artists presented. I love how they have a mix of homegrown, national, and international artists showing off all types of expressive forms. Their murals are fantastic. I love coming multiple times a year.
I love this art museum. Friday nights they have concerts and food until 10 p.m. which is a lot of fun and very different than just a dinner and movie date. This is a hit with the kids too since they have a lot of room to run around at the plaza. The staff is friendly and they encourage people to volunteer because its a lot of fun to be working with others for a good cause. Bring your kids and friends to the art museum. I like to head out there when a new exhibit is up. Visit their facebook page to get updates.

Beautiful display, representing the art of Latino artists! I was very touched by the Dia De Los Muertos altars honoring the departed... a definite destruction for art lovers and a great field trip for students!

Started about 30 years ago and its a vibrant community center for the arts. Many musical and events for adults and children. Great DAY of the Dead open now.
Beautiful gallery! Used the upstairs portion for an Award Ceremony. Staff was very helpful... A little too sarcastic at times, but our experience was overall positive!
The event on Saturday was fun for the entire family. So glad the prices were kept at a minimum too. This is a great place to visit!
The places is not too big but is awesome very family oriented but not recommended for evening events more like night shows, grass is well maintained and trees around it. Non profit place so most likely there is going to be a charge for any event.
What a wonderful experience for this community. I went on an Art Hop evening to view a project by a friend and discovered a treasure. The diversity of talent represented by the collection kept me engaged and eager to return!
El Dia de los Muertos. Beautiful displays of alters. The rich culture and traditions were very well represented! I feel that the night could of been better planned to serve the amount people who attended with more taco trucks and more food venders. Also, setting up tables and chairs would have allowed people to comfortably enjoy their food! I didnt like that the entertainment of the dancers and other performers was not held at the same venue without any notice as advertised.
Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the music. Good food and beautiful art work. Good price to go in. If you never been there you should go its worth it. On Fridays.
My first visit and its a night to remember.....Art Hop! Our party had the opportunity to speak extensively to an upcoming Artist in Fresno by the name Albee. He was very in depth with a wealth of information in re Fresno Art Scene. Also, Albee is an Instructor teaching and Art Class during the Art Hop here @Arte Americas.
Its a very family oriented place the concerts they have there are so much fun food is amazing I recommend it to everyone who loves music and enjoy dancing!
It Was better other years inside and out and it was suppose to be a free event but ended up paying 5.00 per adult and 1.00 for children ...there went our dinner money...
Needs more funding to grow their efforts to bring more Hispanic cultural events, but it does a great job with what it has. Their Dia de los Muertos event was packed and fun!
If you are looking for community service hours here dont do it, they dont treat you right and make you do more then a volunteer should do, the staff are rude and treat you like your nothing. They make you do things you should be working on as a volunteer. Worst place I ever volunteered!!!
I had a really good time at this museum and the exhibit. I learned a lot, had parking in the shade, got my questions answered and had as much interaction with the staff as I wanted.
Arte Américas truly shows the beauty of art from a Latino/a point of view. To have an entire gallery dedicated to Latin American art is empowering and strongly suggest you check it out.
Love their Noches en la Plaza during the warm summer months! Also, the Dia de los Muertos exhibit is fabulous.
A hidden gem. We happend by on a Sunday afternoon and were fortunate enough to have the gallery director take us on a tour that included detailed comments on both the artists and thier work.
Wonderful cultural center, great museum, and great art gallery. The evening shows are phenomenal. A must place to see when visiting Fresno.
It was a blast this year I loved it I would go again I have lots of fun I think everybody should go to it you learn a lot from it and you have fun and they had great food.

It was a special place for me where a lot of handicrafts and mother crafts I recommended they will leave very happy with what you were looking for and of all use they do not have it you get it for me it was wooooow check yourself.
Hopefully and more people will visit this place, it is a magnificent Art Center where one feels proud to show our Children our roots, hopefully there are more places like this ... I definitely LOVE this place.

2019-10-21We enjoyed looking at the art work. The staff were friendly and there was a lot to see. They had sugar skull art, paintings, and altars set up for dia de los muertos when we visited.
