Sal was great to work with. We came on a lot just to look around in hopes of seeing a SUV crossover model that we havent looked at yet and found the Chevy traverse and a used Honda pilot.That was quite helpful and we got to go on a test drive with the Honda pilot and no time.
We are incredibly happy with our experience at Arroyo Grande Chevrolet! I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and professionally Kevin answered my online inquiry. He was zero pressure and provided all the information we needed to feel confident about leasing a new Silverado. We got great trade value for our Colorado ZR2 and payments right where we needed them. After several days of online shopping with typical responses and being ignored, we happily drove over 50 miles and passed two other Chevy dealers to do business with them. Sal, our salesperson, was SO easy-going and efficient. He even personally washed our truck since it was Sunday! We will definitely be back when this lease is up and refer everyone we know. Arroyo Grande Chevrolet has a fantastic team!

First and last time! Rude people didnt even explain if anything else is wrong with vehicle. The whole experience was bad from dropping off to picking up. Lady by payment window was as rude as you possibly can get wont recommend nor will I go back for service parts or new vehicle purchase. So much for staying local!
Made a service appointment with Michael, arrived on the day, greeted ,and service work, including a warranty item on drivers side mirror started immediately, and was finished at the stated time. This is the second vehicle bought from this dealership, would highly recommend.

I guess your shuttle policy is to only allow one person in the shuttle during covid and it slipped mikes mind when my family called to be picked up. Rather than disappointing us he had the shuttle come and Mike drove our car to pick us all up. We drove our car back and he went back with the shuttle. Went out of his way for us this is why we come from Santa Maria to arroyo grande to service our car 😁
It was nice to go in knowing they had what we wanted. Best part was finding out a long time friend Steve was back there. Sold us our last Equinox so only fitting he sold us this one too. We appreciated Kevin doing extra work to get us the car we wanted. No haggle and no pressure. Thanks for making it happen guys.
I went to their parts department and the old person who attended me was really rude, I think he was upset with world.I been there before and I had a fantastic buying experience but what happened now is really sad.Its amazing how only 1 person can ruin a whole business.
Derek and the entire crew have always been fantastic. The work is reliable, they have never under-quoted me (no surprises when I go to pay) and despite having to work with customers that are frustrated (a broken car always hurts), everyone still wears a smile and is friendly to chat. If anything, take your vehicle and problems to them just because the people are great.
Car buying is known to be stressful for both the customer and the sales person. From start to finish we had a very nice salesman who guided us through two autos with no pressure to buy either one and who took the time to explain features along with pros/cons on both. After we selected the auto we wanted the staff then handled the sales paper work in a very timely manner as well as good explanations of each document we had to sign.After sales was complete they mentioned that if we had any problem to come back and they would help us no matter what the problem/question.I would rate this experience as 5* and would hope others who plan to buy a vehicle from this dealership have the same smooth experience that we were accorded with.
Worst customer service. I was ignored by everyone. They made an excuse they were busy and the only one there but there were no customers. I waited almost 15 minutes and Im the one that had to ask to be helped. They made me feel like an inconvenience to them. No apology. I will not do service with Chevrolet A.G. again!
I am beyond amazed! We were on vacation when a blinker went out on our Saturn. So we stopped here to ask about it. Derek at the service desk came straight out to our car, got to the light, ran and found a replacement, installed the new bulb, answered a few related questions, and for under $10, only a mere 15 minutes later, we were back on the road. Amazing service! And so nice, too! Highest Recommendation! Thank you so much, Derek!
Service Dept Rocks. Derek is amazing, remembers your name even if havent been there since the last smog test. I travel a lot, meet lots of people - and Derek is one of the very few people in this world who is really, really good at what he does.Derek exudes honesty, not only helping YOU but in the chaos of what is any service dept you can witness him effortlessly fix whatever is going on with other people, their vehicles - like someone spinning plates and they never fall. I have been going there for 14 years.
Rigo Rivera promised TWICE TO CALL BACK WITH A LEASE QUOTE on a 2021 Silverado. When I called back the second time, he said” we were busy with 3 sales today and I got busy” a phone call takes one minute, we will drive back to Goleta where we live and deal with Perry Ford instead. A potential customer discarded and a lease missed. This will be forwarded to the regional manager in California and the Corporate department as well. Follow through is everything! Obviously “Rigo” is not a conscientious salesman. And our lease didn’t matter.
Service dept best ever! Mike and my tech went above and beyond to help me get my Silverado Duramax engine issues resolved finally. Me and my wife were on vacation pulling our RV trailer. When the same issue for the 3rd time In 3 weeks happened. My Chevrolet dealer in Santa Rosa CA couldnt fix my emission issues after two appointments in the last 3 weeks.ThanksRichard
I cant say enough good things about the service department at AG Chevrolet. Their rates are competitive and youll never have to take the car there for the same thing twice.I took three different vehicles to them for various work over the 10 years I lived in the area (a 2002 Camaro, a 2005 Trailblazer, and a 2013 Camaro). They never once tried to oversell me and on multiple occasions they saved me money. They were also very helpful and honest when my Trailblazer reached its end of life and needed either an engine rebuild or replacement. One of the things I hated about moving away was having to find a good shop again.Take your GM here and dont think twice about it. Theyre a good shop.
Comfirtable, small town, no pressure projection from the sales personnel here with fair pricing as opposed to the much larger pressure cooker dealerships in our area. Smaller selection of vehicles but if you know what youre looking for they will find it. Overall, a positive experience.
Im new to the area. My car was having a computer issue. I have a 2018 Chevy malibu. I called Alfano is SLO and they basically told me there was nothing they could do for me. For them to do a diagnosis it costs $225 and they had no loaner cars. i called Arroyo Grande Chevrolet and talked to Mike in service and he not only was eager to help but arranged a tow and rental to come to my place of work so i was not stranded. I did not buy my Malibu from them but will buy my next vehicle based on the excellent service from the service department. Alfano needs to follow AG Chevrolet example of customer service.
Staying at RV park in Oceano. While out and about, the check engine light came on in my truck. Due to all the positive reviews on line, I called Arroyo Grande Chevrolet. They took my truck in right away and even shuttled me back to the RV park. Called me later in the day and explained that the check engine light code had to do with the turbo, which had been replaced by my local chevy dealership last July. Explained we could tow our RV home and that if the check engine light came on again to take the truck back to local dealer. They were also able to service my truck. Mike, in service, was phenomenal and eased my worries. I just wish my local dealership was as efficient and ethical. I highly recommended this dealership.

My husband and I planned a little #staycation/ road trip when our check engine light came on, we found these guys on Google, they fit us in, took care of the truck and we are back on the road! Parts department is terrible and will try to over charge you. Wanted to charge me $300 for a part I got on eBay for $20. Call the parts department with you vin # to get the numbers and buy somewhere else. Beware “Gary” he is a crook. Does not even get a percentage of his sale just tries to rip you off.
Not only did Mike at the service department offer to work around my work schedule and see what was going on with the vehicles warranty, Mike did some further digging to find out how much I had been covered. They went above and beyond, and I will be back for future service. Thank you!

2021-08-30My daughter brother car into the Service Department for some repairs. Mike (the service writer) created her very warmly and professionally. Every aspect of her experience was better than expected and very professional. Small town flavor in a large community. 2021-12-026 months and counting the problem with my truck is not resolved. Supposed to have placed an order for a part 6 months ago. It was back ordered. Then the order it seems was never placed or lost. Placed another order for the part and still waiting. I don’t know if this is a dealer issue or that of manufacturer.
