Park is just past the shops and the railway.Nice small park, secluded by trees. Lots of tables to make picnics. Green grass lawn. Small parking lot. I saw an outlet by the office. Bathrooms are not so clean. Public bbq grill by reservation. Water creek just behind the park with trails .
There is not much to this spot. No playground, or picnic area with bbq grills. Just a big open grassy field. There is a clubhouse building for use by RSVP that has a large bbq and a few tables and benches. A few short trails that lead to Aptos Creek. Its just before the entrance to Nisenne Marks Forrest and there are not many people here on average. They do have public restrooms but they close at 4.
Love the yearly music festival here. Great blues and little fuss one you are at the park. Dislike the parking shuttle arrangement...nothing wrong with the operator, just a bummer I dont know where to park close-in. Do some research, get there a bit earlier to park close-in. Otherwise, not sure what the park is used for but I am sure it is great.

2022-06-13Lovely park. Its overrun with dogs unfortunately (l saw at least one sign that forbids dogs in play areas). Unleashed dogs walking around everywhere without their owners around even. Im adding photos as examples. People also let their dogs bark constantly creating noise pollution in an otherwise peaceful setting. Wish people would be more considerate of the place and took better care of their animals by not letting them walk around everywhere. Its not a dog park. When there arent dogs around, its a great place to listen to and watch birds.

2022-06-29The Park is great. I walked around in the creek looking for unique rocks and stuff. Took a few pictures. Ran into a guy and his dog. We talked at least a half hour. I grew up in Aptos Creek , it felt the same. I did get hit by stinging nettle on both shins. Still feel it. Great afternoon of feeling like a kid.

2021-04-11Very nice park. The grass is perfect for sports or playing any field games. Trees all around with a short foot path to a calm stream. Very peaceful and relaxing. Great place for a picnic, or to hang out and read a book.

2021-06-22Been coming to this park for almost 30 years and not much has changed in that time. There used to be a small sandbox with a little digger thing kids could ride and use but that is gone now. Still a great open field for running around with the kids. You can take a short walk down the trails to the creek as well.

2021-08-01This park is charming. There is a creek trail that is not challenging and perfect for families with small children. It is also a very quiet park. Very clean and well manicured.

2020-11-11Great quiet park. Near a creek nice grass field to play with the dog or just chill in the shade or go swimming in the creek. Still talking about the dog wouldnt recommend swimming for kids maybe wading. Just not that big of creek. Has bathrooms and good parking
