No matter how much you keep it clean , how less items you have in your apartment, they will charge you thousands of dollars for cleaning and painting. It wasnt even very clean when I move in that I had to place maintenance requests for painting and vacuumed all rooms at least 5 times before my bare feet didnt pick up dirt from the carpet. Dust every where that I have to clean with a lot of wipes, cabinets were dirty, ext. all that which let to the question, do they actually clean when they charge people that amount of money? Or do their clean actually worth that thought of dollars? It feels like fraud. Dont even live there.

I have lived here going on three years now. I have lived in two units and have had no problems. I currently live on the first level near the office and enjoy all the renovated amenities. The maintenance crew is by far the best and always say hello. I walk my dog daily and like that the area is walkable with feeling safe. This property is a bit hidden behind houses so if you are wanting quiet this is it. Recently the gym had new equipment and has tv screens to watch while doing cardio. I do appreciate that parking is enforced which for the ones who follow the rules can find parking when they come home. The pool just got all new furniture and I was happy to see a pool party hosted last week. I wont be moving until I can hopefully save up for condo in the area. You can get to everything since all freeways are so close to this location.

If it was possible, I would give 0* for this. I and my husband have been lived here one year. And there were a lot of bad experiences happened here.1/ They have poor and cheap home appliances like sinks, fridge, washing machine, ect. In order to making the renter got problem with that and they have to pay for compensation.2/ The floor is super terrible. It make noises to another downstair room. Everytime we close or open the doors, the downstair heard it and complain. And the owner just let me know that the neighbor complained but the owner never find the way to fix the cheap floor.3/ There are no parking for visitor. We have 2 parking one in garage , and we had to buy another one, but they still towed our car because our car with the parking permit got the door break so we switch the parking spot for one night. They said we had to park on street instead of switching like that even we paid for the parking spot.4/ After we’ve done one year contract, they said we need to inform them one more month to end the renting.5/ They charged with unreasonable price for chaging the carpet, the painting ( even it isn’t dirty), for cheap sink easy break, ect.THIS PLACE IS THE MOST HORRIBLE PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED IN MY LIFE.

At the end of the day you invest a lot of money where you live in San Diego. I just renewed my lease because overall I love living at this complex. I recently shopped other properties in the area and by far non this has the most value for your money. The maintenance team is always out and cleaning. The new gym was a nice addition and I even canceled my gym membership. My home comes with a garage and I like the tucked away location. It is so close to the freeway and I can easily get home from all major freeways. If you are looking to live in this area you won’t be disappointed that you make this home.

4 out of 5 stars, honestly this place is amazing to rent from. Their pools and other amenities are out of this world. Their maintenance is out the same day to repair anything and are on it. I gave this apartment 4 out of 5 reviews because theres a few problems i had that I am not a fan of.1. Parking is a pain during any holiday.2. They charge you for everything, literally. Ive been a resident for two years and my rent started at 1,638 now its around $2100 and they are charging me an extra $50/mo per car to park! My rent went to $2,029+ in two years.! Im getting into a 1200 SQFT house for $2,200 with an Acre in Ramona.3. They ban you from online payment if you schedule a payment and they take it out early. When you ask them to fix this, they said you had NSF and your not allowed to use online payment.Overall, I would recommend this place for how quiet, family friendly and safe it is. Although as for the Fees, I believe Montanosa can do better. This apartment complex is in a prime location and i loved the two years here! But its time for me to make the next step in my journey! One other thing, most apartment management companies will allow you out of your lease a few weeks early in order to move in to a house. They will not, they are expecting me to pay for every last penny, which is very disappointing.

I lived here about 15 years ago. I loved it. People picked up their dog feces, the place was clean, There were a great number of amenities, etc... Not anymore. No amenities The rent which is over 2000 for a one bedroom (NOT including any utilities), is ridiculously high for what this place is now. So sad. It used to best amazing here.

Dont live here. We leased 1 year and I wouldnt stay if they gave me a free year. Rent went up from $2,100 to $2,330, which is a complete joke. Id rather live where there arent bugs and rats all over the place.Management is pretty much non-existent. Ive emailed them 3 times about an apartment owner who leaves their dog outside on the patio all day and it barks CONSTANTLY. The poor thing barks so much that by the end of the day it barely has a voice.I had to write them to get the landscapers to pick up their messes all over the place, and after a few emails that finally happened. The landscapers just blow the leaves around so a day later its still a complete mess. Id never pay a company to do a job and have it not be done. Its about $2,000/month, so Id expect a little better service from Montanosa. If you do choose to live here, best of luck, I hope your experience is better than mine.

I have resided here for over 2 years and am moving due to PCS orders. The apartments have renovated several areas since I first moved in to include the addition of new gyms, office, lounge, and Staff. The location is safe, the apartments have a gym, pool, and there is a public park across the street. Catie Mello has been extremely professional and great consistently going above and beyond my expectations always ready to help residents concerns or problems. She helped set the tone for customer service as the rest of the staff has been the same immediatly addressing any concerns that may come up or maintenence. The apartments are dog friendly and is located at a prime location with places to shop, eat, and gas only a couple to a few minutes away. I will definitely be a return resident here if I get moved back to San Diego, CA.

Dont trust the office and management people! I just saw the reply from Montanosa, they claim I wasnt in their system, what a joke because I lived there over 13 years and after Never being late, ever they would not renew our lease, and wouldnt give us a reason why, losers!
