I have interacted with sales man Hamid Kandahari, internet sales manager. I understand that some toyota dealers are selling $4k over msrp, when I mentioned that I did not want to pay over the msrp, the salesman could have just said no. Instead he comeback with a snarky remark and sarcasm.A little bit of professionalism could be helpful
I bought a brand new catalytic converter from Toyota Antioch in March 2020 for my 2005 Sienna. Now my mechanic tells me that the part is not good. Called the service Dept and they told me that the warranty is only for 1 year. The van was only driven less than 5000 miles since the change. I would not recommend buying any parts from Toyota Antioch because1. Poor quality parts2. Does not stand by their parts.$1400+ part with no life.
I went to eight dealerships in one day. Antioch Toyota was the only place willing to make a deal last weekend. It’s the first time ever bought a new car so I was trying to get the best price possible, they help me achieve my outcome and treated me with respect and courtesy without wasting my time. We didn’t have to go back-and-forth very often, and they gave me an excellent price and negotiated even more for my trade-in than anywhere else would. I didn’t get compensated for this review, and I didn’t even need to try to get a lower price by offering a review or anything like that because they gave me the price I wanted within 20 minutes of sitting down
My husband and I contacted them about purchasing a car in stock. We are transitioning from another state but I needed a car since I’ve been renting for three months here in California. The sales person was extremely rude and told us they did not want to deal with the hassle of sending paperwork back and forth. He further stated that it was a popular car and someone would walk in and buy it easily. I understand that you might not need the hassle but there was a much more professional way to handle the matter. Another dealer gave us an awesome deal on a better model and worked with us to help with the paperwork. Definitely will take any further business elsewhere.
Went into service dept this morning and was greeted by a gentleman who took care of everything on my certified pre owned sienna with a failing water pump. 50 dollar deductible, a rental car, and Starbucks coffee. This morning was stress free and calm, in a life of struggles. Thanks Kevien.
Well, I recently bought my Tundra Pro on May 7, 2021 and I am loving every single day driving the truck, but then off course this would not happen without the humongous help from Giancarlo and Jim for being professional and keeping me up dated when the next Tundra shows up. It made all the process painless and smooth from all the paperworks that needed to be done to bring the truck home. Also shout out to Giovanni from Finance for keeping everything transparent and straight to the point. Again thank you very much as this is my first time buying car from Antioch Toyota and sure won’t be the last!!!
I went with my wife like a month ago looking for a very specific car that she likes. A Toyota C-HR XLE in white. That day, a very friendly young guy named Donny helped us for a drive test, even though they just sold their last white car at that precise moment. After the test he worked diligently with his bosses to find another one. When he came back to us and told us that we hace to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks because there was no car like that in 250 miles. He presented some numbers and also worked with us to get a decent quote on our trade in. Long story short, he texted me this week letting me know that he got the car nd my wife went, did all paper work under two hours (record for any dealership) and now my wife is super happy with her brand new car. Thanks Don for all your help and support🙌🏻🙏🏻
BILLY!!! He’s the man! He was so nice and made the whole experience easier and fun. The dealership really took their time and listened to what we where looking for. They worked with us and they made our dream possible. The salesman was chill, there was no pressure, we had the kids with us and they gave them some nice coloring pages to keep them entertained.Over all great people, great service, great experience.
This is my second Time dealing with Jim at Antioch Toyota. Very smooth Deal no hassle or tricks , only honesty, top customer service, hospitality,& Respect, I never enjoy dealing with Auto dealership but Jim & Hamid made it so enjoyable and so peaceful.Again Thank you to Jim & Hamid for top customer service and honesty we will spread the word & come back again.
Took a shot at trying this Toyota spot out a 2nd time today and Fail! I’m amazed at how these service reps, get trained, to make up numbers and then not own up to it when it’s time to pay the final bill? Went in for an oil change, then they said it was time to do the 60k miles maintenance, total came up to $511. $511 right and mind you I had somethings done like 3 months ago that had to be done again today. I show no service light nothing my car is good! Anyhow I had a 10% discount cause of the coupon I received from Toyota, then the rep also told me he verified with my 3rd party warranty that they would cover $85. The rep made it clear that i would get both the Toyota and my warranty’s discount. When it was time to pay, my warranty was no where to be found on the bill I literally confronted the service Rep and told him. No we agreed on both discounts, he then tried to play it off like he never said that. I Kidd you not I went over it with him on multiple occasions. Customer service here is unbelievably Bad! I even left a message for the Service manager Mark today. Hopefully he contacts me back as well.
Do Not Respond to their surveys unless you are 100% satisfied!!!!I honestly never leave reviews. I really wasnt going to do it but after filling out a survey for my recent purchase with them I must express my concern. Turns out they have been emailing and texting me requesting to do this survey, so I did. I did not give them a perfect score but I also did not give them a bad one. I was honest and neutral about my responses. I also ensured to add a comment specifying that the sales person was great and that I had nothing bad to say about his service. Well despite this, they have e-mailed and texted me, making me feel bad about my honest responses. Guess they do not take criticizism well because their responses are very unprofessional to me. Have shopped here the past 7 years but the way their Customer Relations Manager (Lori) replies is just plain rude in my opinion.I will still continue to recommend them but advice everyone not to do their survey unless you are giving them a perfect score overall.SMH
Had a crazy good experience here a couple of days ago. After looking at the newer Toyotas at another location, and then calling around as well, I knew exactly what I wanted, and the year, the specific features, etc. AND I wanted it used... however, two other locations said that my request would take a little time because leases arent up on newer cars yet. They took my number, and with limited time left before I had to go to work, I made the best call of my life: Antioch Toyota! The manager that answered (Heath/Keith?) was able to tell me in seconds about the perfect car, which after driving for a couple days, I feel like is life-changing. No, Im not being overly-dramatic. Im fn serious! I had no idea the technology 2020s would have, but when I arrived, Frank was waiting for me and my Mom (cuz I car shop with Mom) :) and he had keys in hand and the door practically held open. He was friendly and professional and showed me some of the features that my (barely) used car has, and this one came equipped with them all! I am going to have to read the entire manual - and I already found some great youtube videos that tell you about the secret features! Insanity!I got a great deal - their financing department was wonderful and they went as fast as possible, knowing I was now late to work. So my co-workers were upset when I arrived in the office, but I dont think Id ever be unhappy driving to work again. Ill be happy driving everywhere and I appreciate the extra awesome customer service I received on top of getting the best car of my life... with a Toyota Certified used coverage on top...!! What?! So no worries about losing keys, new tires, windshield cracks, or ANY other repair, for a long time! (Ironic, because I had bought brand new tires for the car I ended up trading in, just earlier that same day.) Oops! Thanks, Antioch Toyota. Ive even had a nice follow-up from a couple of staff making sure Im happy with the purchase. Im so happy, that Im already looking forward to getting service done with you, when its time.
Poor customer service. I was car shopping for a new or used Toyota. The sales people (3) different ones had no idea about the product they sell... Toyotas! I was asking general questions and they just blurted out random things that werent even correct. Instead of saying Im not sure I can check for you they just said words and incorrect information. I guess I was asking too many questions about engine size, curb clearance, towing packages so they kept passing me off to other sales people. I gave two stars because I stopped another time to check out parts/service for the Toyota I bought from another dealer and the manager asked me if I needed help. I informed him I did and also about my previous experience and how I ended up buying from another dealership even though they had a car I liked better. I just want honesty and factual information about a car Im buying. He was apologetic and appeared open for general feedback about customer service. Hopefully they will review basic facts about Toyotas to the sales people so they can be more helpful.
This was my first time coming to Antioch Toyota. I was very pleased with the service. I was greeted fairly quickly by a young fellow who directed me to my Adviser. I loved Erik’s enthusiasm and highly recommend him for anyone looking for service. He quickly gets you in and out and just has a way to make you feel at home. Great customer service. My only complaint was the lounge area was a little dirty but overall great place. I will definitely be back with all my cars.
Just purchased a car from Antioch Toyota and couldnt be happier with the process. We worked with both Sonny and Ahmed and both of them were professional, kind and informative. In fact all of the staff we worked with were helpful. They treated us with curtsy and respect. The financing process was easy. I am very happy that we purchased out car from this dealer.
Well it’s kind of funny I bought a 2021 Toyota highlander call the service department TOYOTA in ANTIOCH and had a simple question concerning my garage door opener trying to set it up with my vehicle their reply was I don’t know !!! They referred me back to the manual their customer service is not very goodI guess the service people are not well trained
Straight forward, helpful and honest. I spent a month interacting with 7 different Toyota dealerships in the east bay to work out a good deal on a new car. Jim and Anne were responsive helpful and completely counter to the stereotype of a slick car salesman. They made the process much more tractable and set the bar by which I measured other sales staff. If youre are looking for a new Toyota you would be well served to get a quote from them.
Well after years of service. I can see the difference of people, employees new hires that provide the service at antioch Toyota. I can say that 2021 is not a good year. service department lacking a good customer service that they need to provide for customers. Remember without the customers you the employees cant stay on your job simple as that. Managers watch out got to make sure everything running smooth for every department. Hint if the service department will not answer calls might as well find a new job.
A place where someones new toy is more important than helping out a customer. Walk around the lot for 30 minutes. Walk right in front of at least 4-5 salesman and not one single one ask if I needed help. A gentleman came later and asked me if I had been help, I said no. He then proceeded to ignored and went back with the others to keep chatting about someones new car. I figured he would return to help me but never did. They all seem more interested in someones new toy than helping a customer. I had to wonder if they were profiling me based on my appearance. Maybe next time Ill wear a suit to get service.... oh wait, no next time for them.
I bring my car to this dealership every time I need service and without fail, I always receive excellent customer service. I have tried to go to the Concord dealership (just because its close to my house), but I definitely didnt receive nearly as good service as I do in Antioch. Eddie Hidalgo is usually who checks me in and out, and he is SO GREAT.
Service writer was fine but after having my car serviced it was brought out and just left in the parking area and I wasnt notified of it until sometime later. Then when I asked them to wash the car because I asked the first time , he brought it out again and again left it in the parking area with the keys still in the ignition. Potentially someone could have taken my car because I just got into it and left without anyone telling me it was ready
I bought my used Prius V a few months ago. I was apprehensive about being at a dealership. Ive had a few bad experiences before. This time it was very pleasant. The salesperson was professional and courteous. He was not pushy or condescending. They were able to answer my questions and address my fears. I had pre-approved financing from my credit union. They gave me a better rate and deal. The price was reasonable (fair market value). I have been happy with the car and dropped it off for service today. The service team was knowledgeable and helpful.I would consider buying from here again and I recommend this dealership to my friends.
Just purchased a 2019 RAV4 from Antioch Toyota and so my review is going to be entirely based upon the sales experience. The Internet Sales team (Jim Benham, Billy Pierce, Richard in finance) were nothing short of phenomenal in terms of service, price, and experience. Everything was completely transparent, every step of the process was flawless, quick, and no-hassle. This was by far the best sales experience I have ever had at a dealer. Ever.
I had a great truck-buying experience here with Fisel, Jim, and everyone at the Internet Sales Department. I worked with them via email and over the phone to arrange a price, pickup time, and the specs of the truck, then seamlessly purchased it as soon as it arrived. Im not someone who enjoys the vehicle-buying process but Antioch Toyota definitely provided an ideal experience for me and I would buy my next one there too. Couldnt be happier with the way it worked out.
Very nice people, very kind. But the reality is they are doing inappropriate business.I went two times for service on my car and both times they lied to me.First time I went for oil change and tires rotation and guess what.... they didnt change the oil, when I complained their theory was the oil they use is good for 10,000 miles and they didnt change because my car had at the time around 6,000 miles, today I went for second service, oil change, tires rotation.Okay with that. But this time they told me the cabin filter was replaced. And guess what... I still have the dirty cabin filter in my car.ADVISE.stay away from this place.
Dishonest, pulled the bait and switch. Dont waste your time here, told them I wanted the deal advertised, even text the Salesperson the deal advertised, they came back with double the amount advertised even though I have excellent credit. ZERO STARS FOR BEING DISHONEST!
Antioch Toyota is an awesome dealership to work with. I worked with Jason Wood who worked in a very professional manner both on the phone before and during the sale. No pressure, no gimmicks, no dog and pony show. Just straight facts and lowest price. Jason also showed care and hospitality by providing beverages for my wife, son and I during the process.Toyota Antioch moves volumes so their vehicles move fast and are fresh from the factory. My 2017 Tundra 1794 was so new it had not even been test driven by anyone else and only a couple miles to get it off the truck. It was literally just built by Toyota only 5 weeks before I took delivery.Jason was very thorough in the PDI and customer configuration on technology inside the truck. Even though it was pouring rain they still washed the vehicle inside and out for us to drive away. They truly did exceed my expectations. I highly recommend this dealership.
Sales person I dealt with seemed pleasant and knowledgeable, but the finance team...be careful of them. They threw in a free maintenance package, some NSD membership thing and GAP coverage. I didnt want any of it. I said just take it off the total if you have that much freedom to move the money around. They said no, very shady. There is no such thing as free. Why the hell would you offer TOYOTA maintenance on a Mercedes? Makes no damn sense. They also financed through Toyota financial when I had requested my own bank.
We are from Turlock and we are so glad we decided to make the drive to Antioch. It was well worth it! Jim Benham made sure we had the best deal possible (far better than others). He and his team had everything ready for us and we were in and out of there with our new Toyota Tacoma in 30 minutes. Smoothest car buying experience we have ever had! Thank you Antioch Toyota!
Since being customers here my husband and I have had nothing but positive experiences. Their service department had always been helpful and accommodating. Johnny had always been or service specialist and does great.Since our move we almost left the Antioch family to go to another office but Eddy was very helpful and it is good to stay
The worst sales department ever you can expectStarting from the sales workers (Carlos) who may lie to you just to bring you there and not to forget the sales manager when I call him to complain about the bad experience that received there and he told me I will investigate that and I will call you bake and he never call me back. At the end the worst of all the guy who receive the calls in the sales department who hung up in every call I called him todayShame on you Toyota to have bad or the worst dealer in USA 🇺🇸
Our experience at Antioch Toyota was great and we would definitely buy our next car from them.I first interacted with Jason Wood from the internet sales team over email and he sent me a link to the Antioch Toyota website which listed all the car models available and their prices. For each car, the website provided a breakdown of how the price was calculated and additionally provided line item prices for any extra options and accessories. The website made comparing different vehicles and selecting one that was right for my needs very easy.I talked to Jason over the phone the next day and he was very polite and helpful. He confirmed that the Camry model that we were interested in was in stock and told me what the out-the-door price would be. I mentioned that me and my wife would be taking public transit up to Antioch to buy the car and he even offered to pick us up from the BART station. When we arrived at the dealership, Jason greeted us and took us for a test drive. He explained all the features of the car, the warranty, the service schedule etc. and completed all the paperwork very promptly. We were out of the dealership with our new car in around 2 hours. Overall, both me and my wife were really impressed with Jason. This was the first time we bought a car from a dealership and we were not sure what to expect but Jason made the whole experience very smooth and efficient. At the time of the purchase, I had wanted an alarm system installed in the car. The next day after the purchase, I changed my mind and told Pamela Graupe, the customer relations manager. Pam guided me through the steps I needed to perform in order to get a refund. She has been very easy to get in touch with all throughout this refund process and has kept me informed about next steps. I really appreciate how easy to reach Pam is and how she goes an extra mile to make sure that the customer receives excellent service.
Absolutely horrible. I rarely ever feel the need to leave a review somewhere. I brought my brother in laws car here for an oil change and I got nothing but frustration. Was told my car could be held until 5 (I dropped it off 12) and I said thats fine. I did not get a call until 530. I informed the service attendant who called me that until 6 on the dot as there was traffic. He said thats fine and to just tell the cashier my last name and she will help me out.I arrive at 6 and the cashier is closed. I am able to find and speak with the cashier and she says that she cant help me because none of the service guys gave her my key so she couldnt help me.So she told me to come back in the morning. I asked her what time and she said they re open at 7 and I asked about 3 times to confirm the time. And she confirmed every time. The next morning I arrive at 7 to find out that they dont open until 730 on Saturdays. So i wait until 730. At 730 the door is open but the cashier window is still closed. At this point one of the service guys comes by and asks if I am waiting for a car. I tell him that I am which he responds by saying that the cashier doesnt come in until 8.
Jim and Anne Benham in the Internet department worked very hard to get me into a Tacoma. They got me an incredible deal that no other dealer was willing to come close to matching. I was happy to drive the 500 mile round trip to buy from them. Best car buying experience I’ve ever had, I was in and out in around 2 hours! Really quick by my book. Can’t recommend the two of them enough.
I bought a 2019 Toyota Highlander and the sales person (Sony) was offering the stars in the sky To sell the vehicle it was the end of the day and he seemed desperate to sell the vehicle. I will not mention details but definitely will give one star to the employee not to the dealership. Sony be clear and honest to the customers on what they are getting! 👎👎
Excellent dealership as usual. We got a lease from them for a RAV4 3 years ago and the great experience I had with their Online Sales manager Jim Benham in 2014 stuck with me until it was time for me to get a new one this year. So when it was time for me to shop around dealers for another vehicle this year, I again visited several brand dealers as there were a lot of great options available now. At the end of this 2-month search, I ended coming back to Antioch Toyota, and the experience that I had for this new buy was everything I have hoped for from Jim and her sister Anne. They are living examples of why Toyotas reputation for not only excellent quality vehicles but also excellent customer service has been legendary. Jim & Anne were very professional, always courteous, never pushy, and they patiently carried me through this search and buy process despite some unexpected personal challenges I had to deal with. I couldnt ask for a better treatment from a dealer like they did. Antioch Toyota is very fortunate to have Jim Benham on their side.
Stop HERE!! Do not even think about stepping foot in this place. It is filled with crooks that will do anything and everything in there power to profit from you, they do not care about there customers. I bought a $1200 drive shaft from them, it took them 28 days to get a used one and install it. Guess what 2 days after the 30 day warranty it broke. Wasnt installed right. I brought my truck to auburn Toyota and told them about it. To say the least they told me why didnt they buy this one it has a 6 month warranty and its brand new and its cheaper then the one they put on your truck.. Long story short a few of my friends have similar horror storys from this place. The only reason why there in business is because of the increase of people moving to the area. They dont know what repeat business is. They just reep profits from the one or two time customers like me!! Stay away, very unprofessional and they will lie and lie and lie to cover there back door.
Do not buy a vehicle from here or get your vehicle serviced here. Toyota warranty won’t cover a clear issue with my vehicle and it is less than a 1 year old because they believe someone “tampered” with it but have no proof. My car is stock and has not been touched by anyone but me. They only look out for themselves and want your money.
Rude pushy salesman, I asked to compare three trim levels of the rav4 and he hands me a brochure - I’ve already researched them online and came into the store to see them in person. Then I ask to test a hybrid and he brings the keys to a non hybrid and we don’t notice until midway during the test drive.
BEWARE !!!!**** of their abusive sales policies. I leased a vehicle in 2014, this April my lease was going to expire and I was planning to keep my vehicle since the beginning. So I make an appointment about 3 weeks ago, they knew exactly the reason of my visit. To begin with the person that make the appointment with me had nothing to do with the finance department so immediately when I arrived I was referred to another person (a sales agent). And just as I thought he tried to persuade me to buy a new vehicle, when he realized I was totally decided to keep my own car, he started to act and speak rude. Then when I asked him questions about the process of the buy out, he gave us wrong information. By that time I was already upset. So I was told In order for them to give information about financing, I have to pay $298 fee that includes a security check up, and a smog check. But on top of that whatever it came out wrong after the check up that needed to be fix , It had to be repaired in their facilities and I had to pay for it.I told them I was not going to pay any of that. Then he said someone is going to call you tomorrow to schedule an appointment and they will explain you more. Well, they never called my back that week. I called them at the end of the week, and they told me again the same thing about I had to pay all those fees. So I told them again I was not going to pay any of that and that I was going to call my lawyer. Next day they called me and said that I didnt have to pay for a service but just for the check up ($298). And I responded: Im not required to paid that ! Im just going to get my finance somewhere else.I checked some other creditors and lenders and they approved me. But I went to different Toyota dealership, to get a quote for my tires, and also to asked them a question about my lease. And when I explained them what just happened, they told me I DIDNT HAVE TO PAY ANY OF THOSE FEES. So they helped me with the financing in les than an hour and the only thing I had to pay was my smog check (wherever I wanted to take my vehicle). So I decided to stay with Toyota.Later I found out the reason why they do that in Antioch. Its because they need to have the client go through those fees and the service when the client is not buying a new vehicle, so that will count them and paid them as a new purchase. Ill never go back to the Antioch Toyota dealership and I will make sure ALL of my friends and relatives know about their politics and bad practice business.
My wife and I just picked up our new 2017 Highlander from Jim Benham at Antioch Toyota.I have to say that this was the probably the best experience Ive had at a dealership.Jim and staff (Anne, Pamela and Fisal) were great.Jim listened to our needs, quoted us a fair price, ordered the exact vehicle we wanted and kept us informed from order to delivery. Done deal!We are very happy with our decision to purchase from Antioch Toyota. Thanks Jim!
Contacted Billy Pierce, Internet Sales Manager, Wednesday night. He gave me a price on 2019 Camry. I told him I would pick up the car the next day and to have it ready for me. Billy went above and beyond. Most of the paperwork was completed before going to the dealership. Once there, it was just a matter of dotting the is and crossing the ts. No gimmicks or games with Billy. Hes a straight shooter, what he quotes you is what you pay. Gio the finance guy was good too. He didnt pressure us to buy anything we didnt want. We were literally out of his office in 10 minutes. Billy will be my go to guy for any cars I purchase in the future. Give these guys a shot you wont be disappointed.
So as a young girl wanting to make my first real purchase by myself. I was very intimidated going in and getting a car. LUCKLY Toyota made me feel very comfortable and I didnt get that snake vibes like other sales people in dealerships. 10/10 recommend Fisal if you ever go get a car from here. He made everything such smooth sailing. I came out with a brand new 2020 Corolla and its great to have somthing that is mine.
My son and I had the best experience ever, working with Jim and his sales team. Thank you so much for going the extra mile and getting him the blue color that he really wanted. The 2019 Corolla is the 11th. Toyota wev purchased. You just can beat Toyotas readability, Im sure it wont be our last Toyota. Many thanks, Happy Holidays
We leased a vehicle on August 6th and made 4 calls to the financial lender to get our account number so we can make a payment. Every single time, it was the same answer. We dont have any record of the lease and sometimes it can take up to 40 days to process everything. Well, after 2 1/2 months of driving around, the woman from Toyota Financial suggested to call Antioch Toyota to see whats going on. 10 minutes later, she tells me that there was some paperwork she was waiting on and that everything should be squared away in a few days.I got a call from the finance woman, Tatiana on a Friday, and she tells me that there was an error on the money factor and that I had to come in asap to resign the revised contract. After hearing that I wasnt able to come in over the weekend, she began to berate me and say it is my responsibility to make the payments (without a lender) and that my car will get repossessed and my credit affected. She also kept saying that I should return the car, no questions asked if I couldnt come on the weekend and that is when Id finally had it.I made it there that Sunday evening and returned the car to Steve Peralta, the Sales manager, whos wonderful and was completely appalled at my story and couldnt apologize enough for my experience.Later that week on Tuesday, I talked to the GM, Don, whom was also very apologetic and asked if he can fix everything, I told him I still needed a car and was willing to give them a second chance, so he said he was going to have a sales rep contact me the following day.I received no call Wednesday.Nothing Thursday. On Friday, Id decided it was long enough and called Don, who immediately took responsibility for dropping the ball (he forgot to have the original sales rep call me) and that he will make sure I not only get taken care of but I get a screaming deal, so I decided to give them a third chance (3rd times a charm, right?).Finally talked to the sales rep, Jim, whos an honest to goodness great guy, but unfortunately, all he kept talking about was how the rebates werent as good as they originally were as last time and that Id end up paying more for the exact same car.Rebate? Thats the screaming deal I was offered? A credit from the MANUFACTURER. And on top of that, the rebate wasnt as good as before. They never offered to take a hit on one lousy car to fix the nightmare of a screw up that I experienced, and for that, they deserve zero stars; unfortunately, 1 star is the lowest I can give.
The worst customer service ever.My Toyota car was having problem, The car was diagnosed . I found out one of the parts of the car was recalled. Then I tried to make appointment but when Antioch Toyota found out that its was recalled issue they refused to make appointment with me. Eventually i made appointment and took my to Toyota. After inspection they told me they could not find any problem. What about changing the recalled parts? Very bad attitude towards customer. Unprofessional.
Didnt honor coupon. Made me paid for a service that should of been done when I had maintenance done the week before. Took it in for maintenance with a coupon that said battery test will be done. It wasnt, had to go back to for diag the following week because of what ended up being a bad battery. I effectively got charged double for what should of only cost me half what I ended up paying. Never coming back.
Bought a brand new tundra, and i start having problems the 2nd day, and they just forgot about me, they basically told me that it wasnt their problem anymore and they turned their back on me,and send me to battle with the service department. to make my story short my brand new tundra has spent more days in the shop than with me, the service department costumer service is the worst, they dont return my calls, or when I call they put me on hold for hours. still waiting on a resolution on my 2017 brand new tundra.and David Sanchez at service department he is the worst always with an attitude trying to make u feel that you dont know what you are talking about or like if you never drove a car before. The sales department they promised an extended warranty and a full tank of gas wich after I signed the contract basically they laughed at my face when I asked about what they promised me.
Purchased 2nd Toyota from Antioch Toyota 6 years ago. They have serviced both my Toyotas for the last 6 years now. Today went to Antioch Toyota to try and purchase a 2017 Highlander Hybrid Limited Platinum from them with a trade in of less than 95,000 miles and they refused to even make an offer. Sales Man told me Sales Manager did not want my business and no offer will be made on single owner vehicle that has NEVER been in a single accident with no damage at all. WOW!!Management has changed and they dont need business!
They are big disappointment to me. If you are planning to buy a car, Antioch Toyota is the worst place to do. I had a horrible experience there. Buying a car is not an onetime experience, but you have to go back to them afterwards for repair and whatever you need. In this point, they are no longer reliable. In fact, I am happy that I ended up not buying a car from them. The salesman seemed nice at first and promised me to sell a brand new car at a really good price (because it was the last day of the month.) So I wrote a check and brought it to them. However, at the very last moment when I was going to put my signature on the document, they started telling me that they were not able to sell a car because I didnt have SSN. Im an international student; therefore, I provided my passport as an identification instead of SSN. Yes, I made sure to other dealerships that I could purchase a $10,000+ car, as long as I showed my passport and visa.Yet they were reluctant to check this fact to other dealerships, despite our request. And yes, what they are mentioning was totally off the point. They even told me that my passport was not issued by the US government (of course not. But its passport!! I can open my bank account, make a credit card, do everything with it), so they could not take it or something stupid (Visa is issued by the US gov, but you know they wouldnt listen)To make matters worse, they suggested us to put my companys SSN (She is an American citizen)and to change the registration information later, which is basically money laundering. They asked us to do something illegal. Im pretty sure that they know what they are doing. What happened was the manager did not want the car to be sold at that cheap price even though Ive done everything that I needed to do. Or they truly did not know how to deal with this. But in anyway, their lack of experience and ridiculous attitudes might make you extremely regret and feel unpleasant. So you better watch out!
First off, do yourself a favor and bring your car elsewhere. Brought my car (a Subaru, but have a Toyota warranty) in due to uneven wear on the passenger rear tire and noise coming from the same wheel. Was told it would take 2 days and Id have my car back. Took them 9 days in total, each time I talked to them they said it would be ready the next day which forced me to sit around and wait thinking I would pick my car up the next day. When I finally got it back I took a trip to Tahoe and noticed the same noise from the same wheel. Looking over the paperwork they changed the driver side rear wheel bearing and somehow, in the 9 days they had it forgot to address the passenger rear tire or perform the alignment THEY recommended I get. Was required to bring my car to a different shop to get the alignment Toyota somehow forgot to do in the 9 days they had my car and my car car is still making noise from the passenger rear wheel. Only difference is that now I am just over my 36,000 mile warranty. Again, just bring your car elsewhere.
This rating is for John in the service department. Frankly, overall, Id give the dealership a slightly lower rating, because......well.....dealers. Still better than average, but John really shines in his professionalism and ability to represent Toyota in a positive and really affirmative way. Deal with him when you go for service, if possible.
Just purchased a Inferno 2017 Tacoma Off Road from Jim Benham and Ann .Ive only purchased four vehicles prior to this one but these two were by far the best salesmen/woman. From the initial look in their inventory they were very professional and were prompt with keeping me informed and what I was looking for . As far as the other staff they were all very polite and proffesional. I will purchase my next vehicle from Jim and Ann (the sibling duo) . I recommend when looking for a vehicle to go to them first . They wont try and sell you something beyond your budget as well as try to give you an outrageous up charge . Once again thank you Jim and Ana !
This post is about the customer service at Toyota antioch.I never expect that when any customer wanna talk to a manager to complain about any service, the service advisor direct him to the wrong person.I asked them to talk to any manager and they told me that there is NO MANAGER today. When I asked them to give me his phone number so I can talk to him, they gave me wrong card with wrong contacts.I really couldn’t believe that this can happen. What a bad experience!!!!They made me come two times to have my car checked and each time they refused to check it.I m also concerned that they never apologized for wasting my time instead they kept arguing with me.Be very cautious when you choose this place for your car service.
.I love it at Antioch Toyota and my kids do too!Thank you for making us feel so at home !The staff is amazing and they took good care of my family and I .I love my new car too!!💕❤️️her name is faith 😁I will be back for my oil change soon and to visit and get another banana muffin 😁
Customer service needs significant improvement. The check-in is slow because only one person is responsible for checking in cars. Drop-off is also unreliable because only one driver is assigned. If you missed a drop-off, you have to wait at least an hour for the next one.
I really feel sorry for their employees...as im sure they get most of the wrath coming from customers. they sold me an engine that had been rebuilt. it lasted just over 3months and just a few days over the warranty. $4,8000.00 down the drain. when i brought it back they told me that i should have bought a new engine! i was desperate and purchased yet another rebuilt engine (at this point i could have paid for a new engine) and when i asked for a discount on the second engine i was turned down by a supervisor. now i know that i should have not stayed with them, but i was desperate and uneducated in the ways of auto repair. my car is now back at Toyota Antioch. After calling around found out they were at least $600 more than the other 5 auto repair businesses. my automobile is presently being towed to Pittsburg Automotive...Many Good Reviews and acceptable rates. ive learned my lesson! i must say that the Toyota service person, Oscar...has been kind and respectful...something that i wish the ownership could clone for their business practices.
Went in knowing exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately have had my car a little over 2 months and 2 tires already required fixing (1 had to be pumped with air while on test drive, was told bc it had just been sitting, dealership wont take responsibility. Also waited a long time for it to be detailed as part of completion but car was very dirty still. Need to put air in tires weekly
I cannot speak highly enough about Jim Benham and the Internet sales team. I personally think that Internet sales is the only way to approach buying a car and Antioch Toyota is at the top of the heap. Just go online and find a car you like and click Get Eprice. Fill out the little form and in minutes youll get a link to their Internet pricing with info on vehicle options and specifications as well as brochure. We made an appointment and spent about a hour with Jim who was extremely patient and informative. Outstanding experience. I recommend anyone interested in a Toyota start here. Thanks!
Terrible service.Came in over the weekend to look at cars. One salesperson was helping my husbamd and i and just walked away all of a sudden. Another salesman came up to help so we asked to test drive a vehicle and they said they were too busy. how can they be too busy when there was a bunch of salespeople standing around hiding in the shade? There werent any other folks even in the lot looking at cars.I left and went to Concord Toyota and had a much better experience there! Will be purchasing my car from Concord.
Recently purchased a Toyota 4Runner TRD pro from them. Jim Benham and Anne were extremely helpful in ensuring a smooth transaction. Right from the initial call to helping me decide on the right 4Runner model, explaining features, test drive, differences and options, they were transparent and genuine... Surely recommend checking them out if you are looking to get a Toyota.
First Toyota purchase experience after owning a Lexus and Acura. This dealership deserves the award of the best bait and switch out there. Their car salesmen hover outside and pounce on you before you even fully exit your car after arriving. You literally cannot look around without one following you around. They posted an ad which gave a number of discounts including a Toyota loyalty discount, after looking at the car and agreeing the purchase it, the switch came, they couldnt offer me a whole host of discounts including Toyota Loyalty because the model I was buying didnt have the discount - Even though their newspaper ad showed the discount.Upon me telling the sales man, about the newspaper ad, he rudely said this isnt their ad, I then pointed out the same ad on their website, and his response was Well, this is Toyota making these ads not us... but is complete bogus. I tried to push the issue of why am I paying for their mistake if their ad is incorrect, they should honor it, and he replied, Look, Im not going to be able to feed my kids with the sale of this car, so do you want the car or not? Seriously! I tried getting in touch of their customer relations person, and left a voicemail - of course no response until now.I learned that its either Toyota or this dealership that has deceptive practices, I would think its this dealership. Dont trust this dealership with such a huge purchase, there are many other Toyota dealers and other car manufacturers to look into. I for one, will never even look into Antioch Toyota in the future! It doesnt help even if you call in prior to going to confirm a price, because they just said Yes, thats the price and all they want you to do is come into the dealership. I went from Fremont to Antioch just to purchase a car and this is how they treated their customer. Never again!
PLEASE DONT BUY A VEHICLE WITH THIS COMPANY. Someone used my ssn# at this place and tired to call the dealership and get stuff handled they didnt want to help me. Steve the sales manager was supposed to call me back never did I had to call them everyday and never received a call back from them when I spoke to another guy named Michael he was very RUDE. SO PLEASE DONT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THEM
My name is Rolando C. and I have been a customer at Antioch Toyota since 1995, I have purchased three cars and a truck at that dealership. Well, I came into the dealership yesterday in hopes to get a Certified Used Camry with low mileage on it in exchange for my 2013 Avalon that I purchased on 10/2013 and which in excellent condition; I am trying to lower my monthly car payments because I have a new baby coming and don’t need to be paying such high monthly payment.I found exactly what I was looking for, the price was right, the monthly payment was going to be exactly what I was looking for and the care ran beautify. When they run the numbers, the supervisor told me that there was absolutely nothing they could do for me unless I was willing to put $12,000.00 dollars on top of the value of the Camry, and I would have to pay for the Camry and for the $12,000.00 dollars that I still owe for the Avalon and that my payment would probably be over $500.00 dollars a month, in other words I would be paying for two cars. They valued my Avalon $4,000.00 dollars below Blue Book to begin with and they forgot about MY LOYALTY to ANTIOCH TOYOTA. There is no customer care for “FORMER CUSTOMERS” such as myself, actually I have been repeating customer at ANTIOCH TOYOTA for the past 20 years. THANKS ANTIOCH TOYOTA I AM DONE WITH YOU. You need to take care and be loyal to old, repeating customers that keep coming to your business such as myself.
GIANCARLO ... thank you for your help today for finally finding the car I’ve been looking for 2019 Highlander XLE AWD.8 seaters and black on black very beautiful.I strongly recommend this place for car buying experience very knowledgeable helpful and friendly best customer service. Giancarlo was very helpful for finding the best deals for me, because Giancarlo is also a internet sales he’s able to get the best price... $2,000 less than the sticker price .😊thanks again.
Dont have your older parents go to this dealership alone. They will sell them a used car above the KBB and see nothing wrong with it. And never once tells them that they can buy a brand new model, with 0 miles on it instead of 20k for only 3k more. Thanks Antioch Toyota, very classy.
5 star service personal Oscar Haro! Best service advisor everytime i have my service appointment. Always ready to go extra mile... Had a bad expirence with Sales in Antioch Toyota, so i bought my car from Livemore Toyota even i live right on Buchanan.... Never thought i will ever go back to Antioch Toyota, as i used always Concord Toyota after buying car (was pissed with Sales dept)... However due to unavailability of appt in Concord, i took my chance in Antioch Texcellent service, it changed my whole prespective and here i am even writting a review.. Thanks Oscar
Dont go here unless you purchased your vehicle here. Having trouble with my after market car alarm that was installed by Concord dealership was hoping someone could take a look at it and was told antioch uses different alarms than Concord and I should go back to concord. Thanks!

2022-06-16Gouging markups, and salesman implied I would never be able to find a Corolla hatchback with a manual transmission, and certainly not without a markup. He was extremely condescending in tone and snarky when he said “you can go ahead and take your chances.” No more than 48 hours later, with another dealer I was able to reserve a brand new Corolla Hatchback XSE with an Manual Transmission with zero markup whatsoever, which arrived 3 weeks later. I saved THOUSANDS Thanks to Autonation Toyota of Hayward! They are fair to the consumer unlike this dealer. So glad I bought from Hayward instead. So for anyone looking to buy a Toyota from here, look at your other options before making a decision! It may save you thousands of dollars like it did me.

2022-04-01The finance department will never ever, in any circumstance, answer customer phone calls or call voicemails back. No matter what time and what day or how many times you call, never a single answer or call back. Finance department phone extension is quiet literally utterly useless. You will have to physically go in for one simple question to be answered.
