I would give Anna 7 stars if I could! She is that good. I recently decided to sell my house in Berkeley after living 3000 miles away for 11 years. I connected with Anna and she handled absolutely everything related to the sale, including painting, repairs, landscaping, and even communications with neighbors. She was always responsive, gave great advice throughout the process, set expectations extremely well, and was a joy to work with on every level. She is the best of the best.
Anna was our agent for a house we recently bought in Berkeley. She was absolutely wonderful during all steps of the process, from helping identify neighborhoods of potential interest, writing offers on several properties until we found the right one, to seamlessly manage the whole process and close on time. She was always available, sometimes even late at night if thats the only time we could find to talk.We were first time home buyers so the entire process was rather foreign. In addition, we come from Spain where the buying and selling process is quite different than in the States. Anna herself grew up in Barcelona so she brought the European perspective and helped us understand the differences. (It certainly helped that we could speak with her in Spanish, though Ill note that shes fluent/conversant in many other languages other than English including Dutch, Italian, French, and Catalan. Maybe theres more I dont know about!).What we liked so much about her was her willingness to tell it like it is. She wanted the best for us and was always looking out for our interests, even if it meant pointing out a negative about a property that we were considering making an offer on. Im sure many other agents have that same openness but it was genuine with her and it led to a great deal of trust.
Anna came highly recommended to us by our neighbor and she lived up to her reputation. My favorite part of working with her, was that she allowed me to be hands off because it was an emotional journey for me getting our sweet house ready for someone else to enjoy. She chose the carpet, light fixtures, paint etc and everything, including the staging was beautiful. It was as low stress as possible and she took care of all of the behind the scenes problems without complaints. Anna is amazing. My fiancee and I moved to the Bay Area from New York and were looking to put down roots in Oakland. We had met Anna at an open house and she was so down to earth. Once we started to get serious with the house hunt we approached her about being our realtor and were immediately impressed with her knoweldge of the neighborhoods, frankness about the process, and relationships with everyone from other realtors, mortgage lenders, electricians, you name it.She helped us hone in on our preferences and kept us honest about our needs and budget. We found our perfect home and with her help managed to close seamlessly. Anna is the best!! She helped us sell our home in fall 2018. She stands out in every way...personable, responsive, knowledgeable, savvy... While we were trying to figure out how to upgrade our housing situation, she helped us evaluate the options without putting any pressure on us. When the time came she jumped into action to get our house sold quickly and for a good price. She has remained in touch and responsive even months after the sale. 2021-12-03Like a fairy godmother, Anna made magic happen. Truly, we are so fortunate to have worked with her in selling our North Berkeley home. Anna knows the area like a pro, and has the connections and finesse to get things done - quickly! Her eye toward design helped us quickly decide how to present our house – what should go where to make it sing. We worked on a tight timeline to sell our house, involving an overseas move that required things to move quickly. Anna worked within all of our parameters, making us feel genuinely involved and appreciated as we moved through the motions, and continuously guiding us to make the best decisions to optimize our house’s value. We couldn’t have been more impressed with the results: four weeks after our first meeting with Anna, we received an offer at more than 50 percent over asking. 2022-07-18I did an exhaustive search for agent when we were selling our home. I built a shot list based on reviews, prior sales and speaking with other agents. When I interviewed agents on the short list, they asked me who else I was talking to. When I said Annas name, several of the other agents said If you can get Anna, she is the best you can get - That is how good Annas reputation is.And that advice served us well. Anna was a true partner who understood both the macro-level factors, and the minute details. 2022-07-17Quite frankly Anna and her team did everything, and I just had to step out of the way. The end result was a house that sold within a week with 10 offers over asking and a final sale nearly 2X the original asking price.She managed updates to the house and yard, took care of staging, handled inspections and was even prepared to find a proper home for my collection of National Geographics had I not passed them on to a neighbor.Efficient, charming, to the point, I knew precisely where I stood in the process and she hit the dates she set out when we originally discussed putting the house on the market.Not sure I will have the opportunity to buy or sell in Berkeley again, but I know where to go should either happen in the future. 2021-08-09Anna recently helped me sell my house in Berkeley. Choosing a realtor is probably the most critical aspect in this process, and there are countless choices in the Bay Area. I could not be happier with my choice or her results! I have never seen anyone work harder, faster, or smarter in my life. There were so many decisions to be made regarding staging the house, marketing, and the sales process. 2020-11-01If youre selling a home - stop looking, hire Anna. We planned to sell our Berkeley home, and initially debated saving money going with Redfin. But Ive bought with Redfin before, whose agents dont have the time, knowledge or good counsel critical for local market success. I came across Anna when we visited an insanely well-received open house hosted by her firm - I knew I had to speak with this agent!Hiring Anna paid for itself many times over!! She has so much local market expertise and great judgment. She knows exactly what matters and what doesnt when presenting a house. Shes super responsive, has great attention to detail, and knows all the people you need for a smooth transaction from beginning to end. She helped us navigate our way through all the preparatory work getting our house ready to sell, took care of the inevitable issues that arose, marketed the house beautifully and ultimately helped us find a wonderful buyer. We moved out of town before the house went on the market, and Anna was in constant contact with us, consulting with inspectors and an entire team whose only purpose, it seemed to us, was showcasing our home’s unique beauty. When a large branch crashed down on the street just before an open house, we found out about it from a neighbor and called Anna in a panic. “I got this,” she calmly said. And she did. The branch was gone that day. Maybe the thing we loved most about Anna was how much she also loved our house. It had been our home for many years, and it truly meant something to us that she saw what we saw in it and did a fantastic job conveying that to others. Selling a home is stressful, we knew.
