Clean. Affordable. Smells good. Floors are made of plastic and look wooden, its nice but if it gets wet be extra careful not to slip on the flooring. Not quiet and the ac is very loud. The bed was clean and warm enough with thin blankets but very firm mattress and hard lumpy pillows. The bathroom had plenty of hot water for a shower but very small and hard to sit on the toilet because of the position of the door. People live there that are poor and/or homeless as well as those that travel so you see down on their luck locals as well as happy lucky tourists.
Pros: cozy motel, quiet place, nice hospitality, great location, 24 hour check-in available - you get what you pay for.Cons: hard beds, small restrooms, old showers, dirty shower curtains, weird-smelling mini fridge, stained towels (but seemed washed), poor cable reception.
At first, I was asked for a $100 cash deposit without any documentation for it. Then I was asked to describe the task my service dog has and I was told to find another hotel when I described his purpose and offered the correct paperwork. On top of all this, the hotel manager didnt call expedia to cancel the stay like he said he would and I asked for because he was sending me away.I experienced great aggression, inconsideration, theft and discrimination. Please consider this before supporting this hotel.
Rochelle does a good job keeping that place very clean inside and out. There was no trash anywhere and the building was very well-maintained. My wife and I were very impressed with the room, the cleanliness and very good working air conditioning. Im very particular on smells and the room had no odor or smell, it was just clean with that clean air smell. It also had the best price in town.
Reasonable rate and room was large& decor was modern ,very nice for that type hotel. VERY clean! The sheets and bedding were clean and the bed was so comfortable we got the best night sleep in years & woke up not being stiff for a change. We actually took a picture of the tag so we can try and find the mattress for home. There was even an extra pillow in the closet if needed. The only thing I can say is its a small town so if youre in need of a room late you might be out of luck cuz nobody answers /office closes.

We were passing through from Portland heading home to Texas when we chose this place.We chose the wrong check in date way after booking the room but she was very nice and switched things up for us. Room was clean and recently renovated. A/C worked great. Bathrooms clean. TV had tons of channels. Bedsheets were pristine white and we slept just fine. Dont understand how the score is so low tbh. Cute little town.
I love this motel. Its medium priced but always clean and accommodating . Right by all the restaurants in Angels and usually fill of fun loving guests!
Is affordable. The one lady at the desk was nice. Is quiet. The second day, they came to clean our room, they took the towels and didnt replaced them!! I guess you get what you pay for, just a place to sleep!!
Dirty, the dog pack was full of dog poop. No one takes care of there own. Bedrooms are small water in shower drizzles. Our bed was broken and the pillows have no fluff at all. Not happy with our stay there.

First room was filthy the second room was a little better but still dirty. Ice maker not working, stained sheets, hair on floor, stained towels, nothing is wipped down. Cleanliness should be a priority! Especially during a pandemic.
Well its affordable and it beats sleeping in your car its one of the better options in town dont the location is great right down in the middle of downtown so youll be able to go and enjoy the site we dont come this far to just enjoy a hotel so you definitely get to be in the middle of a great place

Room was filthy ,bed uncomfortable, sheets threadbare and spotted. People upstairs were up all night, sounded like jumping or moving furniture, no one to call after 10 p.m.. Smokers left cigarette butts and ashes all over walkway, just plain disgusting. Make sure you check out the room before staying. We had stayed there several years ago and it was reasonable then, but not now. Owners said at that time they were remodeling but you sure couldnt tell it, if they had. We will never stay there again.
Not such a good place to stay. they couldnt get the doors open to start with, and went to 4 different rooms before a door would unlock lol had people living there, TV sucked the only channels which were maybe 3 were shows from be back in the day OMG!! the owner also took our payment at the door of the room instead of the office who does that? weird. The owner and the girl working there were very nice, but we will not be staying there again it was creepy and run down. Its to bad they were reasonable but now we know why If they would clean it up and throw out the homeless they could possibly get decent customers who would return because there are not to many places in Angels to stay, next time Ill pay the higher price and stay at the Best Western. Sorry
Room was clean and neat. My only issue was the laminated floor was dusty, creaky and some soft spots. However everything else was nice enough.
Never again: filthy room with hair from previous guests in the bed & sink. Prices are super affordable, but be ready to get what you paid for....
Stayed in room 114 one night while in town for a concert. They, like all other area hotels jacked up their price in honor of the event, which is to be expected I guess. This motel is convenientally located next door to two gas stations and a couple minutes by car from grocery, drug store, and multiple fast food options. The room was clean and appeared to have been recently updated. I didnt come expecting much more than a safe place to crash for the night (and it was), so why only two stars? They would have received a solid three but I wouldnt wish that mattress and those pillows on anyone. The mattress is what you would expect from a pull out couch. The pillows could pass from pancakes. And the only ice machine was broken. One night in a pinch? Park it here. Week long vacation? Splurge on an upgrade.
Cause my man is living there and when I visit the owner is sooooooooooo nice and accommodating to all your needs . Rooms r nice almost livable if you were a traveling type of person. Housekeeping is always on top of things and thats refreshing.

This place is absolutely awful. The rooms are unkempt and poorly cleaned(everything from dirty sheets and unmade beds to dirty floors, dirty towels, dirty... well you get the idea). The door handles are shot and require special tricks to operate properly(the lazy owner shows you these tricks instead of actually spending the money to have them repaired). A friend of mine actually had their handle fall right off the door! But one of the worst parts for me is the poor availability of reliable internet. I travel for work, so I need a reliable internet connection to conduct important business, such as filling out online forms. In off times it will work marginally, but during most daily hours, the wifi will not work AT ALL. Sure enough, when I ran a network diagnostic, it mentioned that the network administrator had tampered with the connection. When the owner was confronted about this, he made multiple excuses, but acted as though he was hiding his guilt. I beg you, avoid this place at all costs unless you want to have a headache of a stay. Id be staying in a nearby cave over this place, provided it were not illegal to do so.
Made arrangements to check in after 9pm because place closes at 9pm an no one was their to get us checked in , long story short since I payed in advance they will keep your full payment non refundable an you will have to find another hotel for the night ,good luck!
The hotel is an older one with dated rooms. The room was comfortable but overpriced considering the age and ammentities. We stayed there for a concert at Ironstone Vineyards. The accommodations were just at average at best.
Hotel said to have wifi, cable tv, and refrigerator. Had none of the above. I purchased goods before checking in so I wouldnt have to make an extra trip to the market, and it had to go bad. Super disappointing.
I stayed here for too days and I was so impressed from how clean the rooms where to the young lady working the front desk her name was Clarissa and she was and amazing help I must of called this young lady so many times and every time she was so happy to help or to suggest places to go and see in the area with my mother this hotel knows how to take care of there guest definitely recommend staying here and we will be back

This is absolutely disgusting there were dead bugs in our sheets in the bathroom our sheets were stained and wrinkled the hallways smelled really bad like dead animals don’t recommend at all.
Everything was good with two exceptions. There was no shampoo and no wifi passcode was given to use and when I called the office, I got no answer or returned call back.. So thats that. ChiNask!!

2022-05-19Comfy bed, air-conditioning works great 👍 staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that its not clearly stated that there is a $35 a night pet rent and so our total on the website with taxes for 2 nights said $232, when I arrived i was informed of the pet rent and my total came to $318! When traveling on a budget I just wish that the pet fee would have been transparently stated.

2021-12-281. Wed a pretty bad experience right from the beginning. We waited for 40 mins to check-in. No, we were not in the line! The manager was working on allotting a room to us all this time. She informed us that shes new to the place.2. After entering the room we found that it was stinking as there was chicken tortilla rotting in the microwave. It took 3 phone calls and 3 hrs to replace the microwave.3. Most of the sheets on the beds were stained.4. The bed springs were noisy and super uncomfortable.5. The walls are paper thin due to which we were able to hear all the conversations, snoring, burping, yelling and puking in the neighboring rooms.6. There were at least 2 cobwebs hanging on the ceiling.This doesnt even deserve a single star. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I dont recommend this place.

2022-05-02Second time staying here , we asked for the same room we had last time . Booked online for cheaper price . Always a great time there , very clean , friendly environment. Staff in the office is wonderful and made us feel welcomed as family each time . Will continue to stay here when needed !

2021-11-20The reservations I made were for wrong days and they worked with me! Great big room, and were very accommodating to my pets! Loved going across the street to Frog and Mark Twain museum, daughter loved it! Nice restaurant next door! TV had issues, but my fav channels! Soft blankets for chilly night, big comfy beds, and clean! Really liked it! Would come back again!!!

2022-01-10The only good thing I can say about this place is that the linens were clean. When I arrived to check in the manager said I did not have a reservation. I showed my reservation email to Raj the manager and he continued to claim I did not have a reservation while he canceled it. I got an email confirming the cancelation at the same time we were talking. I should have trusted my instincts and left but Raj created a new booking and checked me in. The first night my car was hit by another person staying there. I requested security video and reported it to the police. I have still not been provided the video and was told I would be refunded the second night but was not. The people here lie, there is lots of drug activity in the parking lot and many of the rooms are occupied by people that live here. Save yourself the hassle, aggravation, and money and stay elsewhere.

2021-10-16Do not clean when staying. You gotta do your own? Not even mopping and cleaning at all. If you there longer than 2 days get ready for dirty sheets until you strip and make yourself. If it were my room Id not choose here. Same money, cleaned rooms. Never heard of this.

2021-11-08Shower backs up while you’re in it. Not very clean. Owner refused to let me show him my confirmation email of my booking because I didn’t have my ID. He kept telling me that someone could have sent that email to me (instead of looking that Expedia did send it to my email) and that it was my problem. Exactly what we wanted at 11pm after our friends wedding. After about 5 min, he then tell me my gf can use her ID. Why didn’t he say that in the beginning!!? So frustrating

2021-10-18Filthy! Floor sticky, no one mopped between last guest and us. Found a pair of shoes (and pizza crust) under the bed! Trash in the drawers (no one bothered to look/clean) and a dirty towel hanging on the bar. We travel 2 weekends out of the month - I have lots of hotel experience - this was one of the worst Ive ever stayed in. Im not sure how anyone can give this any more than one star.

2021-01-06We booked a room here mainly because it was pretty much the only place we found that was dog friendly. Check in was quick and easy and the man behind the counter was pretty friendly. We only got one key card, so that was a bit unusual, but that was fine. The room was pretty clean, though you could tell they basically just swap out the linens and vacuum. We found some trash behind the TV and the toilet bowl wasnt particularly clean. Our dog also managed to find some pumpkin seeds under one of the beds. To be fair it is a pretty inexpensive motel that is dog friendly, so I wouldnt expect it to be pristine, but that was dirtier than it should have been. Beds were definitely coil spring, but fairly comfortable. The climate control, tv, fridge, and microwave all worked great. This is a great inexpensive place to stay if youve got pets and are basically looking for a bed and a shower.
