I arrived at ARTIC on Saturday at around 8:45 AM, Greeted by a Glass monolith. Traveling trough the double automatic doors I entered a serene indoor landscape that was quiet and inviting. It was the weekend but still there were people moving around, buying tickets running to their trains and some just enjoying the environment. I went directly to the ticket machine for metro link and bought my $10.00 Pass for a round trip to Oceanside (it is good for all day to go anywhere metro link travels to on Saturday). It is so peaceful in that place, maybe because it was the weekend or high see thru roof, I dont know but I enjoyed waiting the rest of about 40 minutes for my train. If you are traveling on the weekend, give ARTIC a try.
Bad service, not very helpful to first-time passengers, and theres just a few staff at this station. The staff has no idea where the designated platforms are for the buses, specifically for Amtrak .The place has no signs for the buses too.We showed the ticket to the staff, and they pointed us to the Train platform, but it was for a bus. We missed our ride due to this.Very disappointing.
This is impressive and should be an example to cities everywhere. A few more stations like this and train travel might make a come back. Spacious, clean and organized. Complete with food vendors and even a bar on the mezzanine. Unlike Union Station in El Aye, not over run with vagrants. After a Bonsai bus trip from Las Vegas through Riverside and Union Station, what a surprise to arrive at this temple to transportation. Now if only we can get Amtrak to start running a train to Vegas again or get congress out of the way with the bullet train to Victorville and let #Xtrain commence service.
This station is always clean and easy to get in and out. Parking was free. Not a lot of traffic here. Unfortunately the Amtrak window was close. The best way to purchase your ticket is on your phone. What an awesome ride to Del Mar race trace. Just win baby! Pay the Lady! Luck be a lady!
The changing color of the lights. gave the Station a festive atmosphere. Being able to be track-side right along with the incoming and outgoing trains was an exciting experience for the kids and I. The second photo is a shot from the concourse level which shows the snow capped mountains in the background which contrasts the difference of the California winter from the parking lot to our Mountains. Please tell me if you liked my review.
We came for the Fair Foodie Fest drive- thru. The stadium was beautiful. The food fest was meh. The ppl who helped us werent professional and said inappropriate things. The music was horrible. Some of our food was good and some was just okay. Too expensive for not being good.
It looks very new. I had a most helpful front desk staff that did my ticket and my baggage. He didn’t assume I knew what to do and gave specific instructions as to where to go etc. On his way to delivering baggage for the oncoming train, he reminded us kindly where in the platform we should wait. Overall experience was great. I had a most pleasant journey. Snacks provided was sufficient for the trip which crossed our lunch time. Thanks Amtrak.
Free parking for the daytime, nice clean environment to hang out in between trains or even just to come and relax with friends. Unfortunately food options are limited nearby, the only food really available inside is pretzels, pinkberry, and a fancy oyster place. If I could ad one thing, it would be a coffee place. That would make my life so sweet
Amazing structures and job well done to all the people who build it. We love riding on the train. Amtrak and metrolink. Employees are impressive. Very accommodating and friendly. A dependable transportation. Salute to all the employees for doing such a marvelous job. If I could give unlimited stars I WILL!!! Me and my son loves riding on train.
The building is very cool looking from both the outside and inside, but with it being so futuristic looking from the outside, you would think it would be futuristic looking on the inside as well - That is not the case with this building but the facilities are very neat and clean. Lack of real food options, working WiFi and lockers seem to be holding this place back.
Oops this review is for the Oyster Bar.I really like the atmosphere of this place. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Food is good but the Oysters stood out - a good thing. Fresh and delicious. They are quite new I think so I hope they can keep the high quality of service and food.
The Anaheim Station is the best train station I ever been to. It is like an airport!!! It is very clean and has plenty of bathrooms. Lots of food places inside too so you don’t have to go hungry. The fun thing is that you can take Metrolink to the beach!! The train literally drops you off right in front of the beach. Clearly, the Anaheim station the best station ever!!!
This is a beautiful facility, but it’s a ghost town. It is clean, but since we are in SoCal that means there will be some graffiti in the men’s restrooms. Metrolink and Amtrak make regular stops and it’s a good alternative to driving to events at Angel Stadium and Honda Center.
We had an aweful time getting out of the greyhound station. They dont tell you if the bus is there. The seats are hard and the driver talked nasty to the passengers, he claimed he did not feel good. I think he should have stayed at home. He only stopped 10 Seconds, not enough time to get off of the bus. The only good part is the food.
Let me tell you. Theres just no possible way that anyone should give this so called station anymore than 1 star...and thats because they dont let you give zero stars. The first problem begins right at the parking structure. You push the button for a ticket and theres no tickets. Next this huge, air conditioned station is not part of the waiting area for buses. If you have to wait for a bus (that was late of course) you get to wait in the sun! It was 108 degrees today in Anaheim and with a bad knee and tons of luggage and no carts for luggage good luck. Theres a huge fee for any overages for carry ons..whats the money going towards. Certainly not for customers. Give me a break. Waiting in the hot sun, no luggage carts no employees anywhere to ask for help. Like when we had to figure out how to get out of the parking structure without a ticket. We go lucky and happened to see an employee walking to their car. They told us that the tickets for the structure have never worked and...theres no signage to explain what to do. You push the help button and you get a recording that sais were closed on Mondays. How were we supposed to know this? It takes a lot for me to give such an negative review. This place is just a joke.
The place is huge ground to ceiling. As far as space inside, there is seating on both the first and thirdd level. Theres a bar in the second level. Main level or floor level theres some snack food options but not necessarily anything to dine for. Place was clean and was strainght forward. The third floor takes you to the trains, the main floor outside takes you to the city transportation buses and the different buses for outside city transport. North side of the building is city buses while the southern side for other buses like greyhound and megabus.
This place is big! You wont make your train if you arrive at departure time. Make sure you get there early so you have enough time to make it across the station and down the stairs to your train. Buses at Bus Bay #15 drop of at Disneyland, Grand Plaza, Town Place, Ayres, ARTIC, Dennys, and Gardenwalk Cheesecake Factory. There is also an express bus from ARTIC to Disneyland. The bus driver told me when the buses come and go so I wrote it all down :) I love schedules!
I enjoy the skinny little shrimp who works security at night. Probably a good idea to put him working nights as he has a habit of using the f-word to customers then gets on the radio and ask for backup. If they move him to day shift someone will stop him on the way to work or leaving. Its only a matter of time before someone sees him off property. He did it to himself.
Nice, clean station. However, they do a poor job updating the signs and announcements notifying of arriving or departing trains so you basically have to guess whether a train is the one you want. No external notices on the platforms of what train is arriving is a major flaw.
Even though my wife and I enjoy going there only for Disneyland and see the Anaheim ducks play. But the only the thing we dont like is that the Metrolink and Amtrak trains always get delayed whenever we are heading back to L.A. I wonder whats keeping those trains delayed.
There is a lot of prejudice against the homeless at this place.I can not understand why the electrical outlets only work ocassionally. There are 200 something charger ports here, and they only work for some people, but not everyone. As much money as I spend here, I should be able to charge my phone, in case of an emergency.I am able to charge up at a few different transportation centers. It really sucks to get stranded in the streets on a dark cold night, and have to walk for miles. It has happened, cause someone here in authority, is too selfish to make charging ports available. My guess is that the homeless are the cause, and how is that fair??? The homeless are people too.
Nicest train station Ive been to so far. Both Metrolink and Amtrak stop here as well as OCTA municipal buses. The whole establishment is well lit even late at night and Police presecense is high which makes me as a commuter feel safe. That staff at the Information desk have always been helpful too. This station is the closest one to the Anaheim Resort and Disneyland Resort. An ART shuttle takes people from the station to the parks which is very convenient.
What an absolute waste of money. They built this huge structure for nothing. It is failing-the only sit down restaurant is now closed because of the insane rent and lack of any visitors. The market is also closed. The only thing is a pretzel place and a frozen yogurt place along with the offices of Amtrak and Metrolink with employees who know nothing about any of the schedules. Completely unnecessary and extremely disappointing to see how the money is being used. FAILURE
Love how lovely the Artic building is, it is always so colorful. I park here and ride the ART bus to Disneyland. If any AP holders reading this, you can park here for free and ride the ART bus for $5.50 for the day pass or $3 for the one trip. It beats parking at the Disneyland structure.
If youre not taking advantage of this train station you need to!! Its beautiful, super clean, safe, has free parking, a market, a restaurant, Auntie Annes Hot Pretzel and a Pinkberry. Located in the Platinum Triangle of Anaheim, its right across the street from The Honda Center and directly across the 57 fwy from the Angel Stadium. You can purchase tkts over the internet, at the counter in the station or at walk-up kiosks. I let my daughters travel to and from home in OC to college in San Diego on the train and they love it. We wonder why more people dont use mass transit...At NIGHT, this is a destination in itself. Its always spectacularly lit up and open to wander around in. Theres an Oyster Bar restaurant upstairs that has happy hour specials. The menu isnt huge but its a cool place to have drinks while enjoying the ambience of the ARTIC.
Ive visited the ARTIC as everyone in the know calls it many times. I have found it a quiet, clean and very cool place to make exchanges between buses in Anaheim and the Megabus. Angels Stadium is right around the corner and the ART buses can get you to Disneyland and now Knotts Berry Farm.
The most unprofessional Security guards who have no training on how to talk to people. I am posting a YouTube of a dum small thin security guard saying f-you to the customer who had a valid ticket. Not the type of thing a qualified guard would do. Adding a picture of ticket.
This new parking plan is a bureaucracy nightmare. I have used the Old Anaheim station park and ride for years. It was extremely user friendly and very easy to park and ride. The New Anaheim Satation, parking is just the opposite. From day one it was great, but then gadully the parking rules and regulations started to change almost every week, with increased bureaucractic hoops to jump through. Example: most people who travel want to arrive 15-20 minutes early, park and get on their train. But not at the New Anaheim Station because you have to come to their office Monday-Friday durring business hours and fill out parking permit forms before your train arrives and by the way they are closed Saturday and Sunday. So if you travel on Saturday or Sunday you could possibly have your car impounded. So to avoid having my car impounded I called the security office during regular business hours only to hear a recording... We are out of the office. Enjoy your train ride and hope your parking experiences are much improved.
Such poor security with attitudes when they have no supervisor to over see them. Lets see what Artic Center Management thinks of the cute youtube video my friend posted of a dumb security guard saying F you and things like you dont have a D%#k and F-you F-you F-you. He sent me the clip. Very funny. He is sending to OCTA and ARTIC Management. Time to stop the skinny and fat boy show of guards at a city building.
Cool! Come to America for the first time to take the train experience, because the first time always feels very novel and interesting! There are only a few people at the station, so it seems convenient to drive! The station is spacious, comfortable and bright, with some food around and seats available! There is a bar on the 2nd floor, which is probably not open yet! When I walked to the second platform to wait for the train, I saw that the time was approaching, the marquee appeared late18minute, and the weather was abruptly cooler. On this outdoor platform, I felt cold and clear, with less than 10 people riding the car Sit down and wait! It will be broadcast again in a few minutes: it will be delayed by 3 minutes, and the car will arrive at 10:55. Wait patiently!

2022-02-22Hours aren’t what the site says and they should update that. I tried doing it myself but there isn’t an option on this listing. They at least keep the facility clean but the benches aren’t comfortable and they close their facility for 6 hours with no accessible bathrooms and closest store about a mile away on the other side of Angels stadium at Arco.It conveniently has an entrance from the train platform to Angels so that’s a plus when I’m working events at this location.

2022-04-14It was a good place to come and go. To take train and the bus but u better come with a full battery on all ur devices. And use them sparingly here cause they have all sorts of outlets wth no power goin to them. And the only place to gt charger it out of order

2022-01-24Cant complain it is a Transit center not a five star restaurant hotel or lobby. Just having fun with my family on the weekend train hopping.

2022-04-24Incredible customer service from Peggy of Amtrak! We had so many questions and she not only answered everything knowledgeably, she also helped us find what we needed and even assisted us with a cart ride to get where we needed to go.

2022-05-26Traveling from Florida my family and I decided to make a vacation adventure by taking a train ride from Anaheim to San Diego. Unfortunately just before a train arrived my daughter-in-law passed out in the bathroom. The train station attendant Peggy could not have been kinder. When we hadn’t shown up on the platform she held the train and came inside to see where we were. When she found out the ambulance was coming for my daughter-in-law she made sure our needs were met. She passed along to Georgia on the next shift that we would be back hopefully. Fortunately with just a little fluids and monitoring we were able to come back and catch a train later in the day. Georgia could not have been kinder and more compassionate. These two ladies deserve every recognition available. I am a nursing Director and would not hesitate to hire either one of these ladies based solely on their customer service. They are a true asset to your organization.

2020-05-31It is a very modern station that will blow you away as soon as you walk in to it. The station and the area around it is very well maintained. There are several shops inside including a coffee shop. It is a bit of a walk to Angel Stadium but nothing challenging.
