Got service from these people at American tire depot. About 3 months ago I was in an accident and they took advantage of me. I have Texas plates so they assumed I was from out of town, wrong. I’m not sure why they thought it was okay to go through the things in my car. THEY STOLE A GLASS PENDANT! American glass is not cheap. It cost me 100 dollars for the pendent and over 200 for the service. All I needed was 2 new tires. They took more from me than what they deserved. That being said I hope they get what they deserve. I spoke to the manager and he said “my employees would never” that doesn’t explain my pendant missing … anyways don’t go through these people. I had no choice bc it was through the towing company I used. I would have rather went to big o tires
I had a great experience at American Tire Depot. Mike assisted me and was so helpful, honest, and friendly. I took my wifes car down to have the brakes inspected. It turns out that they were still good! I really appreciated the honesty! So, I went ahead and brought my car in because it needed tires. They replaced all 4 tires in a shorter time then I was expecting. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles back!
Short version...Liars who will try to scam you and rip you off. Go to Discount Tire Depot across the street. Long version...I went in for an oil change and inspection. I already knew I needed an air filter but they told me my rear brakes are gone. My rotors are hot spotted and warped and my entire braking system needed to be flushed. I was surprised. They quoted me $450! I guess because I just got off of work and was wearing my suit, they assumed I had money and didnt know anything about cars. Luckily I worked in an auto shop for a year. I asked if the rotors could be turned. The guy looked at me surprised and said no. Not once did they take me back to show me the damage. I replied by saying no thank you. Go ahead and bring me my car, Im pretty sure the brakes will be fine for four days until my weekend. I took my car to Discount Tire Depot across the street. At Discount Tires they show you whats wrong with your car and treat you with respect. Honesty and integrity is how I would describe my experience at Discount Tires. They treat you like family and like they want to help you. Ill finish up by saying yes, I needed rear brakes but my rotors were fine. They just needed to be turned. After all was said and done I paid $170. Now that was a price that sounded correct. Please, for the love of all things, do not go to American Tire Depot. They will take advantage of you. Period!

Needed 2 new tires. Called most shops around town and this place had the best prices at the moment.They quoted me a price on the phone and I had to wait for tires to be order. When I took my car in the tires that where ordered never arrived so they gave me the next tire up for the price of the ones ordered for me.

We always get great service at American Tire Depot! Mike is efficient, up front with cost and communicates whether there is a delay in getting parts or our vehicle is ready. We get all our tires and oil changes here and any other service we require for our vehicles. We give American Tire Depot a top 10 rating!!!
We paid more than what we were told when we made the appointment but honestly the guys took great care of us. They were super friendly and even tho we paid more than we expected it was roughly the same price as every other stores I called which was just basic stuff compared to the extra small stuff this place provided.
American Tire Depot in Yucca Valley is the BEST!!! Both thumbs up to Gary and Mike for their fast installation of four tires I needed on my Jeep Grand Cherokee.My appointment was for 2:00 pm today, I received a call from Gary letting me know my tires were in and I asked him I knew my appointment wasnt until 2:00pm but if I could drop the Jeep off at 11:00 am and he could call me when its ready.My tires were installed by12:30pm. WOW!!!! now thats what I call exceptional service!!!! Thank you again guys for making my tire replacements as easy as pie!!!! And their prices are very reasonable!!!!
I own a Dodge Charger RT and consider myself protective of her. This place has had my business twice and failed horribly. Bad customer service, false advertising, lack communication, poor quality and performance and over priced!!!! Still owe me an alignment.👎

Started off a little rough, when I called the local number I was routed to a call center. The lady on the phone was painfully scripted and could not accept the fact that I needed cargo rated tires. She went ahead and ordered the tires and had them sent to the store. As soon as I showed up and explained the situation, Gary knew we had the wrong tires. Gary then worked his magic to install tires they had in stock at a discounted rate due to the mix-up. The service tech was Drew, Drews the man! He balanced professionalism and personalism perfectly.Thank you so much for the service, was very fast and I am extremely satisfied. If I see either either of you guys in town and off of work, I am buying the beer!Edit: Went back here the other day to get another one of my cars set up. The old man at the desk was extremely rude. I went in for a tire patch they tell me I need a new tire, ok cool. I ask if they have the same brand I am told they do, so I go ahead and pay the $300 for 2 new tires and when they give my car back the tires look gross, they did not clean them off at all after installing and they were NOT the same tire brand. I retract my 5 star review and replace it with a 2.
Mike and his professional team took care of my car and fit me in so I could have it done by noon. It was done well before noon which I greatly appreciated because I was leaving town and needed to make sure that my car was in good running order. Thank you and I will be using their services from now on.

Bought a set of Tires from a competitor and picked up a nail.. Took it for repair back to Discount Tire and they could not be bothered to assist. Luckily this place was across the street.. Pulled in and was met with kind and professional folks. Tire was fixed and we were on our way with 45 minutes and there was no charge!!!Thank you! You have our business going forward.
On July 8 American Tire Depot in Yucca Valley installed 6 new tires on my motor home. Had to take back up there as the one valve stem was riding right against the beauty rim. They corrected it. Should have been right the first time. This is a tire company.On July 12 decided to have spare also replaced which is located underneath the chassis.We started on our vacation July 25 and in Nevada the spare tire came loose and went rolling down the road. We were abe to recover spare but when it came loose it damaged our grey and black water connections making them unusable for the duration of our vacation.Called American Tire Depot and they advised to fix/repair and they would pay for it. On August 19 provide bill for repairs and was told it would take 7 -10 business days to process the claim.August 25 received a call from one of the managers that they needed pictures of the replaced parts. I texted them to them same day. They indicated corporate wanted them.October 1 a manager called me and indicated he is working with corporate to resolve.I find thid totally unacceptable and very poor customer service. I was told 7-10 business days by the management and now it has been almost 2 months since they got the bill. Is this how you treat customers? On a side note while on vacation i was made aware of a low tire. I went to a tire place and the valve stem was inferior and cracked. All other valve stems were metal but not this one. When i showed this to one the managers he had no explanation for this. Very bad experience with this American Tire Depot in Yucca Valley.
I had an appointment with another Tire Company and the owner told me he didnt have my size tires. The day I scheduled the appt. he told me we have your size tires and we will do the alignment. I only had that day to get my car fixed. I was so upset I got into my car and drove off. I passed America Tire Depot and they were busy. I explained to theemployee what happened to me. He checked my tires said they had them in stock and they would do the Alignment and gave me a discount! Wow! When I picked up my car itlooked good and drives smooth! I was so happy that my car was fixed that day!Thank you American Tire Depot your Awesome!!!!
The young gentleman at the service desk was great. Despite the fact they couldnt fix my flat tire he eventually gave me a brand new one. I really appreciated that since I had been there a few times for the same issue with the same tire. All of the employees I encountered were helpful. Good job guys. Keep up the good work. I recommend this place for your tire needs.
In a world where it’s not always cut and dry, these guys over at The American Tire Depot are honest, reliable and set on getting you in and out of the shop. Our tour Van spent an afternoon there and came back to us, good as new without breaking the bank. Thanks guys.
The guys here are awesome! I typically go down the hill to another company that I have used since I was 17. Mike said he was going to earn my business and beat my usual companies price. They had my Armada in and out a lot faster than I expected, called me and stayed on top of things. They checked my brakes and rotors as well, making sure the vehicle was road safe. I am extremely happy with their service!

I had ordered tires from a online vendor and had them shipped to American Tire Depot. As soon as they had been delivered the staff there was quick to get me in and get them on my vehicle. My only issue with my visit was that someone closed out my service order after they got my tires and before contacting me or putting them on, which shouldn’t have happened but the young man who helped me was quick to fix it! The wait was a bit long but I understand they are busy. I also had some plastic with tape and a few bolts in it stuck to the inside of my tire (I’m guessing it was on the ground and when they pulled out they ran it over and it stuck to my tires(no big deal) but when I drove away the noise it made was very alarming at first until I figured out what it was. All in all they were efficient and pleasant to deal with.
Dont bother with appointments, apparently they dont matter. After waiting a full hour past my appointment, I got my keys back and left.
Took a leaky tire in for repair and the work was done well, quickly, and free of charge. Unfortunately, after mounting the wheel, I noticed another tire was leaking and it had damage that could not be fixed. The tires had over 50K miles on them so I got four new tires at an excellent price. Nice job fellas!

Dropped my Audi A4 off , was originally quoted a price of $411, for all 4 tires balanced and aligned. Get a call a a hour or so after I drop off my vehicle saying that they quoted me for the wrong size, I say no problem what’s the new total? Somewhere in the $600s I tell them I don’t have the money for all 4 then and I would just like to do 2, they say okay and quote me of a new price of $312. 2 hrs go by and I get another call asking if I want my tires aligned, I’m confused Bc I’m assuming it’s included. I say yes and before I could ask any further questions I was hung up on. So I wait for another call for my vehicle , I get it and I go in to pick it up. The man at the desk told me my total was then $440, I ask how is that possible when I was quoted $ 312 prior, he said it’s for an alignment fee, I was never told there was an extra fee for alignment. I told him that i don’t see how it’s possible i originally planned on getting 4 tires with everything for less money than they are charging me now. He Then tells me i need to call around and find other places that do it. (I did call around. They weren’t my first option ). He continues to be upset and belligerent about how I’m arguing the price, he then calls me “f*cking childish” and then removes the fee. I’m a local here so I don’t know if he thought I was out of town and didn’t know what he was talking about and was trying to put something over me, but either way. I won’t be going back.
Had a few people ahead of me and still got done quickly. I had a tire replaced here. When you think about the service from every aspect everything was exceptional. From the price, the wait time and to the customer service. Definitely going back if I need to.Btw.. I rarely review businesses but this place deserves the credit.

I recently took my car to the dealership and was told I needed new brakes. I took it to American to have them take a look since I could not afford dealerships price. American looked to give a quote and told me my brakes were great and I needed nothing done! I appreciate their honesty. These days it’s hard to find honest hard working citizens. I recently bought 4 new tires here. After my car was pulling strong to the left and two days later I noticed my rear drivers side tire was the wrong size, 195 instead of 205 like the rest. I went back and they did replace it with the correct tire, but my alignment is still off.
Im a bit mixed as they pretended to not speak Spanish when a Spanish speaking person needed his tire fixed,. They stated they only speak English here.The service was great and so is the work they did. Very fair prices.

I’m currently living in 29...a month ago I went to the local tire shop when my tire pressure light came on, I made the mistake of putting air in my tires beforehand...they let me go. That same day I went to American Tire Depot, and they spotted the issue within 5 minutes. Patched it up, no charge...all working MAYBE 30 minutes. Today I went in because my brakes were grinding. They were booked, but Gary made sure I was aware of everything going on. He was straight-up about my vehicle’s issues, told me exactly what should be done, and got everything covered. He was aware that I was on a budget, and informed me about my options. It didn’t matter that I had to wait, there were issues I already knew about...he made sure they were covered, and they did it faster than any auto-shop I’ve been to before.
Great place to get tires replaced among other Automotive repairs. Work done in a timely manner with no issues at all.
The experience with the call-center was horrible. They conveyed wrong and incomplete information to the store, which created some confusion. However, the store experience was amazing. The manager was extremely knowledgeable and was able to quickly correct the mistakes made by the call-center. He was professional, attentive to my needs and explained what I needed to know to make an informed decision.
Last-minute need for an alignment after changing all of the struts. Dropped the car off before they opened. Called the shop as soon as they opened and an hour later alignment was done. Car tracks perfectly
Yup I have to agree w the other negative reviews, they dont follow what the promotions say, it says buy 3 get 1 free or $100 off...they only give $50. Im sorry but 1 tire is not $50. plus tell u one thing n do another not to mention make u wait days like u have nothing but time. I even gave an extra $100 for the service. I just want my tires swapped n pay the difference like the guy said. He told me not to drive on the ones I just got so Im stranded. I found the previous order so the difference would be less than $300. I know they just want me to dive on these so I have to buy a whole new set. Did ya know they also offer price match? I dont think they know. Oh well Im going somewhere else. Good luck.
Great people who give you straight and honest prices, (the best around also) and work hard to get things done fast, but appropriately. The crew is more then capable of more then just tires though. They also can work on your timing belt and more! Give them a shot!
I had the best experience during my visit. The representative who helped me went out of his way to make sure I was able to get a hard to find tire replacement. He was friendly and finished my car much quicker than expected.
I came in for a wheel alignment on my Mercedes CLK 350,and Mike got me in & out in less than an hour and a half with no appointment.Service was Great,Mike and the rest of the staff are Awesome! Ill definitely be returning here when I need more service.
Stopped in after I noticed a blister on my tire coming from LA, they proceed to tell me I need 4 new tires, I agree to this offer, I wait for 2hrs, then they tell me that it is impossible to get my tires off because of “cross threading” and doesn’t have anyone to fix today but to come back Monday which we can’t because we are coming from LA, so sends us on our way while doing nothing. I proceed to come across “John’s Garage” (highly recommend) and they easily take the tires off and replace the back two for us for less then half the price per tire that American was selling. So they wasted our time, lied to us, and tried to sell us more tires than necessary. Just don’t go here.

Absolutely fantastic, while I struggled to get me flat tire fixed for the 4th of July weekend at DISCOUNT TIRE YUCCA VALLEY (which ultimately failed me) American tire was there to provide a great service at a speedy time. I’m happy with my tire and I will be visiting them again for anything auto related.
Came here because one of my tires developed a slow leak while on vacation at Joshua Tree. The folks at this shop exceeded expectations, fixing the flat for free and doing it in a fraction of the quoted time (less than an hour). They really turned what could have been a major vacation roadblock into a minor speedbump! Grateful for their friendly and efficient service.
Good luck trying to get work done when you get off work during the week, you’ll spend the rest of your afternoon waiting even if it’s for a simple oil change. Had a couple people get helped immediately after walking into the door meanwhile I’d been here already for 2 hours even after I heard the guy at the desk regurgitate on the phone several times that it’s “first come first serve”I’ll go across the street next time because waiting 5 hours for a simple tire rotation and an alignment check is unacceptable.
Maybe I caught them on an off day. Idk. I came at 1pm, and didnt leave till 4:30. I dont mind waiting at all. Thats not my issue.My issue was the blatant lack of consideration for my car. I just detailed the whole outside myself. I come outside to see my gas cap is open with no explanation other than They mustve pushed the button wrong or bumped it., grease hand prints on my door from the top all the way down to the middle, grease and oil on my steering wheel, shifter, lever for the seat, and deeply embedded into my carpet. And my seat completely messed with.If youre going to charge me for a service, return my car back to its original state. I get you guys are busy, but be cognisant of an obviously clean car.

More importantly, the staff were competent, positive and most helpful. Great customer service.I recently damaged one of the tires and within two days had the tire. I requested a quote on several businesses. American Tire Depot was the only one who answered with a prompt response and provided reasonable prices. Although it was out of my way, I will be returning. The customer service was great. And I definitely recommend. From now on this will be my to go place for oil changes.
Great service. My time on the weekdays to get things done is slim, but they had no problem taking my car after my work day was over. I thought I needed all new breaks, but I only needed the back ones so they saved me money instead of changing both. They were very upfront about what I needed and got it done cheaper than I expected.

I was visiting Joshua tree for the day and on the way back, my tire light turned on. I was nervous because it was late, so I tried calling American tire depot to see if they could help. The gentleman over the phone was SO nice. They were less than an hour from closing but he said to stop by and he’ll take a look. It turned out that my tire was at the point of completely giving out and it would have been dangerous for me to continue driving in the desert. This was December 4th 2020 in the evening and he helped prioritize changing out my tire even though the store was super busy. I wish I got his name but if he sees this, THANK YOU SO MUCH for getting my friend and I in and out of the store so quickly. You’re a lifesaver. 5 stars is an understatement.
The customer service was good nice people. My only complaint is it took a long time. It took 1and half hours for a oil change new air filter and to check my tires for a leak. I guess they must be really busy, maybe they should hire some more employees.
I haven’t actually had my tires put on yet but they were very knowledgeable on tires, very polite, made my appointment and ordered my tires. I was going across the street to the “other Tire place” But a couple of my friends steered me around the other way and said you’ll be much happier here and they weren’t wrong about that I’ll let you know how my tires turn out I trust that I’ll be happy though

Went in for an alignment and found out my tie rod was so loose that I would have lost the whole wheel if it had come apart. Very grateful they caught that and got it fixed for me.

People who work on cars for a living and specifically work with tires should know not to use an impact wrench on a locking lug nut. When they use an impact wrench on a locking lug nut repeatedly and strip the lug nut key, they should take responsibility for it, not just tell you, “ not our problem.”

This place is amazing! This is my second time here. I had a flat, due to my driving on the tire while flat for quite a distance, I ruined it completely. This resulted in me needing a new tire and due to size issues I decided to have both rear wheels replaced. It was not an expense I really had the time or money for, but these guys were amazing. They gave me an excellent deal on the tires and got me in and out in no time. The first time I went was an equally great experience. Ive been to other places that were extremely rude and talked down to me, but here they have always been friendly and more than helpful for my tire needs. I will definately continue to use their services!
Best prices in town and honest. I am a mechanic and know if shops are BSing me, they have never tried to screw me. I always plan on leaving my cars and getting a ride home, its the only way to get tires replaced. They always call me way before closing time. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I have 5 vehicles that will only get tires from Tire Depot!!
These people are awesome! Fixed my flat tire when they said they would. Got my new Presa tires from them about 6 months ago and they are working great in the desert. Got my oil changed here twice and never a problem. Cannot recommend them enough.

Very professional fussiness with really good hearted employeesi definitley recommend this tire shop on any other locations in this area they will take care of you . Bought 5 new tires at American Tire Depot in Yucca Valley for a trailer. Dealt with Gary and Frank primarily. Both of them were courteous, helpful, and went out of their way to be of assistance. I only had a few days to accomplish the mission of tire replacement and these guys got the tires in time for me to accomplish my goal. They were helpful in a manner that gave me great confidence. I had asked for my truck tires to be checked and filled prior to my picking the trailer/truck up. This did not happen, but staff on hand when I picked the unit up made sure it happened. Thank you Bill. I really appreciate these guys and will return when my other vehicles need tires.
Was in an unfortunate situation when on our drive to Laughlin we managed to get two flat tires (Amboy road). Initially got towed to discount tires but switched to American Tire Depot after speaking with Mike. He was unbelievably accommodating and helpful in getting us back on the road in a timely manner. Mike turned our day around, wish we had spoken to him first! Would have saved us a lot of time!!
I wanna put down that I love this place but I just cant. They forgot to put back the special tool that allows you to remove the special lugnut that keeps your tires from being stolen BACK in the glovebox. Needless to say my wife hit a curb and blew her tire. After I got the call I grabbed an extra jack and star wrech (wife was shopping and I didnt want to have to unload the whole car to get to the tools nevermind that the spare was under there also and I had to anyways, but.....) and I jumped in my truck to go change a tire. After many calls and trips back home we finally called AAA and had the car towed to their shop. Just got there before they closed and THEY DID MAKE IT RIGHT AND STAYED LATE TO GET THE CAR BACK ON THE ROAD WITH NO COST AT ALL! No reimbursement for using one of my dads free tows or fuel for the trip home to see if the tool from the other make/model car would work (it didnt). No thought as to any work I may have missed due to this fiasco or the money it may have cost me had my wife not been on my dads AAA account. I mean ya it didnt cost anything to have a tire fixed that actually was covered in the insurance my wife got when she spent $700, on 4 tires for her Kia Soul (I also got 4 tires for my truck, $600, and we got 4 tires,$500, on her moms Kia soul within 2 weeks) a little over a month prior. And ya the tow didnt cost anything due to AAA my dad has but then again if the tool was put back...... Or even if the curb wasnt hit but hey accidents happen and thats why we carry insurance. Were just lucky that it happened pulling into a gas station when it was 78° out and not in the middle of the desert in 110° heat. So even with the mix up I still recommend this place. As for if I would if I didnt get a free tow or didnt have the fuel or money to get any for my truck..... That would be a different story all together. You might be reading it in the paper cause I returned their tires in the, not quit implemented yet, tire return slot in the front window of the store.... At night..... While wearing dark cloths......
Cesars genuine cordial and helpful attitude was the difference between just getting a tire quote and buying 5 tires and an alignment.Cesar was more than competitive with prices and actually put me on a set of tires that I like better than the ones I came to buy. My truck was a difficult installation as I had lost my wheel key :( but they were very helpful anyway.Highly recommend visiting here to get a quote before buying online.
Where no other place within 100 miles has my tire size in stock this place did. And for what every other place ( and i checked at least 35 places) had priced me for just the tires 1350 average i got here for roughly 1300 but also what the others didnt include : an alignment, nitrogen, install, balancing, and 3 year roadside protection. Service was outstanding staff was awesome and overall best customer experience i think ive had anywhere of any kind of store.
My fiancé and I have had some bad experiences with other Autoshops but the guys here at American tire know what they are doing, they are kind and understanding and most importantly their only going to charge you for what you need. their pricing is very fair. Bill and Gary are very hands on managers and will talk to customers if you want them to, and they do it in a way you can understand.
Love this place! Hooked my daughter up with 4 brand new tires for under 400$. Instant credit available if approved. We brought in the lowest competitors printed quote and they not only matched it they beat it by 30$ and it was in & out in about an hour. 5 STARS!!
The team here is professional and courteous! The gentleman running the front today handled each customer with care and kindness, when verbally assaulted with a rude/unreasonable client he did not allow his first rate customer service to waiver. We drive 30 miles each way to come only to American Tire Depot in Yucca just for this reason displayed today.In addition, the staff takes pride in caring for their military customers and being stationed far away from home is something people like me thoroughly appreciate. Keep up the good work it’s not going unnoticed by me!
Mike and his crew took excellent care of our repair and saw to it we got back on the road with fast repair, I highly recommend them. My truck broke a tie rod end and had to be towed in, first thing they got right on it, and back on the road in just a couple hours
I Came here after I set at big o tires for an hour and a half for my 0800 appointment with nobody in the lobby. I was told to be there at 0800 so I will be in and out quickly. That didnt happen....Came to American tire depot in yucca valley and was in and out in 30 minutes. I will recommend this place to everyone.

We have used this location for new tires. We also have gotten tires rotated. Upp. Driving they would vibrate. We took it back and we were taken care of promptly. Customer service has always been excellent . I always be recommend them. Tires Pros is hard to ever get in even though. I got tires for other car their they always want you to leave the car and come back to rotate tires.
Bought 5 KO2 tires and they can not balance tires to save their lives. Took four trips to get the tires balanced and the vibrations and shakes in the wheels were persistent. One time their excuse was our machine is out of calibration......really? Then why are you providing balancing services to customers?By the third time, I was frustrated to the point where I contacted the district manager, Mr.Gomez. That was useless since he he essentially told me to deal with it. Telling me that the shakes and vibrations are normal and how KO2 all terrain wheels are suppose to shake the wheel!!!! What a joke!!!! Properly balanced KO2s do not have excessive vibrations or shakes. The 4th time, they put balancing beads in my tires but did not take off the balancing weights....the shakes got worse. At that point I was flabbergasted by their incompetence and decided to cut ties with that store.In the end, I went to DISCOUNT TIRES and they took care of the balancing and in their FIRST attempt, they were able to balance the tires. Smoothest ride I have had in a while. Do not go to American Tire Depot. Instead go across the street to Discount Tires where they have great customer service, the right expertise, the right tools to get the job done.
I dont ever do reviews online but these guys are AWESOME! It is more on expensive side but they match lowest costs for tires, offer great deals whenever they can, which is more often than not, and provide great costumer service. Although they sell tires, and have a huge variety of them, they do sooo much more! Everything from putting on new tires and alignments to installing new breaks and fixing basically anything thats broken...i have yet to hear them say they cant do something to a costumer. If parts are needed that they dont already have there, they are usually there next day which is the best when it comes to car needs! Chris has always been our sales guy and hes helpful and just superb. And Mike and the guys in the back are great. They all know their stuff and offer advice and generally if you ask them to check something extra out, while theyre putting on tires or something, they will hook you up like no other! They go above and beyond for the costumers and are the best of anyone weve been to! Thanks American Tire Depot, wish more shops were as helpful and accommodating as yall are! (I get nothing for this review...theyve just helped me out so much and made my ride so much safer for my 4 month old and I and i am very thankful for it!)
I love this place after getting my car back from my daughter that had it for several years it was in a bad condition. I came here to start the process of restoring it. Each time I had work done I got an itemized statement, their prices were fare, Ken answers questions and made me feel comfortable, and the work was excellent; i have not experienced any problems with the work. I have not gone anywhere else since for car repairs because i feel that Im not being cheated in any way. Being a part of the military for over 25 years I have come across some places that took advantage of the military spouse, that has not been the case here. This place is military friendly and safe for that wife whos husband is deployed. Thank you
Had a good experience here. They were pretty busy while we were here to get our tires rotated but it turned out they did it for free anyhow so I definitely cant complain. I have previously bought tires here and they were a good price. I would recommend.

I had blow out on my new car with 526 miles on it. Heres to buy a tire so soon but what are you going too do? American Tire Depot took some of the stingof buy giving me a fair price on a decent tire to match the other 3. They had me in and out quickly also.
Service is slow. I purchased an alignment at the time of the purchase of 4 new tires less than a year ago. I went to have the tires rotated and asked them to check the alignment. They saidThe alignment was way out of whack. At the time of purchase I was told the alignment will be covered for the life of the tires or 3 years. They did NOT honor there warranty. I asked why not and they said whoever sold it to me lied and that they would not honor his word.

Today I had a morning appointment for a Oil Change and Tire Rotation. Walked in, filled out a quick information form, handed over my truck keys and sat down for maybe 30 minutes while the work was completed. I was called to the front desk, paid the work order, and received information on three additional items I should be aware of and address in the future. No pressure to fix right away,, just information, which I appreciated. Ill be back!
They were great. I had bought the wrong size tire took them home. Then found I had got the wrong size. My fault.. I took them bad Monday morning. And theyexchange them . No problem!
Ive gone there several times,never really happy. Yesterday the guy ordered the wrong tire,(same guy did that when I bought a full set and tried blaming me)supposedly tried calling me while my vehicle sat there till 1:30,my phone received other calls and I hung up after being on hold over 10 minutes. Went across the street and it was $40 cheaper!?

I’ve only been there once so far but they had great customer service and they were very quick about fixing my tire (and it didn’t cost anything so an extra plus). They’ll be getting my wife and I’s tire business for as long as we’re here.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very disappointed on how the staff “handled” the situation. Rude and unprofessional. Wanted to apply for the promotion that was spend more then this certain amount and qualify for $100.. apparently their system “was down “ and couldn’t do anything about it. We then ask if after the system is back up if we can apply and he said”oh I can try but no promises”. After the mechanic came back saying we ordered the wrong size tires when he had already taken off my tires to replace them. So we would have to reorder. when we drove off we heard a weird noise as if the tires were flat. We got off and checked and none of the tires had Valve caps. We went back and said we wanted them back and that also our tires sounded differently. The guy gave us nothing but attitude. No apologies or nothing . The guy in the front even said The Valve Caps aren’t important. THEY CLEARLY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. SERIOUSLY MAKE THE EXTRA 30 MINUTE DRIVE TO PALMS SPRINGS. NOT WORTH IT.

The price is always right, the service is always great. Having been going to American Tire Depot for years. The warranties are awesome, as well as the road hazard warranties. I go in there pay noth8ng and get a new tire. Did it last month. And going in on Monday on a different vehicle. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

I came in on Saturday, late afternoon expecting to be told to come back on Monday or given some exorbitant price but I was totally surprised. Great price, great service, and in and out within an hour. You have no idea how many times Ive heard people at the big store on the other end of town complaining about the hours and hours theyve waited to get a tire changed. They all need to know about you!
Horrible business. Took the car in for a break job because our mechanic was busy that day. Not only did they overcharge for the break job they lied to my wife about the condition of the vehicle. After inspecting the vehicle at home I noticed that the air filter was taken apart and not put back together and one of the Axel boots had been picked at and damaged. Never take your vehicle to these guys.

The folks at American Tire Depot in Yucca Valley stand behind their work. I know they get alot of negative reviews however it is a good running shop. They might need a visit from the owner to tighten up the staff again, as there qoute of 20-30 minutes, is more like hours, because everyone goofs off to much. And the counter staff could use a little class on code of conduct, and a way to speak with people. But over all its a really good tire store.
Especially in the situation that we are in at the moment this staff was amazing! Unfortunately I do not know the young mans name that was working the front desk but he was beyond helpful. Stay healthy and God bless all youre wonderful staff.

Great tire prices, but expensive mounting. They got me 4 tires for the price of 3... which were already bargain- priced, way cool.... but then, without asking for any input other than my vehicle specifics, charged me $53 per tire to install. I was thinking about renegotiating the mounting fees, but when i inspected the pre-paid tires, which were not the brand i was expecting, canceled the deal. So... way low tire pricing, but watch the add-ones for mounting. The most egregious were the $7 nitrogen and $15 per tire road hazard i had not been given a chance to accept our decline.
I am putting only 1 star because I dont have a lot of confidence in them fixing the problems. I went in for new tires and an oil change for a reasonable price and paid $820.00. And only $52 of that was for the oil change I didnt get. I also had to purchase a $155.00 battery because mine couldnt be jumped. I have had this on goi g problem with my battery for over a year. There are many details that are sketchy and suspiscious. To many to detail. So I will repost these comments after i find out if they will help and how that turns out. I am hopeful. Though it sounds as if Im not. I look forward to changing my review and adding another 3 stars. We shall see.
The reason I always have to take my car down the hill I called to get a price for compressing springs on shocks that were already off the car guy didnt didnt ask any details about my car & quoted me 65$ & mind you this was the manager! Then I called an American tire depot down the hill 20$.quote after they asked make and model. I called back Yucca Valley American Tire Depot asking to speak to a district manger only then did they decide to hear me out. I let them do the 1 shock, but I refuse to go back their & as Im leaving I overheard the ridiculous quote they were trying to charge an old couple for a BMW thankfully they passed. Will not return. Terrible manager at least the other employees were good. AVOID THIS PLACE.
Desk worker lets us know they dont do appointments after checking in the first two people ahead of me, for their appointments, after I showed him the confirmation he says it means nothing due to his workload, after he set an appointment later that day for someone else on the phone. Weird way to do business. Wont be coming back.
This review is for the Hawthorne location on Rosecrans. Been going there since 2004 or 2005 for everything except factory warranty work. .... but everything else.these guys are hard working, friendly and always very easy to talk to. Will go back as long as I continue to live in LA.Also their pricing beats dealers by lots.

DO NOT GO HERE. Changing my review from 5 star to 1 star due to unethical business practices, and blatantly not doing the work I paid for.Last summer I spent quite a bit of money on preventive maintenance, that includes getting my belts replaced, new spark plugs, having my fuel system cleaned, tires swapped out, etc.Well, I knew something was fishy when I went back for another set of maintenance 6 weeks after that and they suggested yet another fuel system cleaning as mine was apparently dirty. I told them to take a look at their logs as they had just done that, and got the response of Oh whoops.After that I took it to another mechanic. That mechanic said it didnt seem my spark plugs had been changed. Then today I lost ALL power to my steering wheel while driving and couldnt turn, fortunately this didnt happen on my daily commute down the grade.Come to find out they NEVER replaced my belts, they were nearly disintegrated when Ive only put 15k miles on my car since they were replaced. I will never return to this place due to their poor practices and will be filing a complaint with ATD.
Told the guy what tires I came in for. He responded by insulting my car without knowing it was turbocharged and trying to tell me what kind of tires I needed as I was trying to talk. The total was 450. Went somewhere else, got a higher speed rating (W), and that total was 250.P.s. Id slap the shhh out of that know it all guy at the front service desk if he ever tried to tell me what my car needed again. Ive completed automotive classes in college. I probably know better than he does. Dont let them up charge you!
I dropped in for a brake check, found I needed them on a Ford F350. Very courteous employees. I left vehicle for service around 0930, picked it up around 1630. Parts had to ordered and delivered.
There’s a reason they are always busy. Good, friendly, and reliable service. Took a couple hours but you won’t hear me complain. Highly recommended.

I went to this location and bought 4 brand new tires and same day my tire light came on flashing so I called they had me bring it back in...ok cool but all the did is clear the code gave me the car back said ok fixed. DOWN the road it pops back on go back to the store a day or two later and they clear the code again instead of actually looking at the sensor to fixed the problem after they worked on all 4 tires and owning up to the mistake and fixing it instead of just trying to clear it and get rid of the customer
Chris Rogers personally made sure that my tire was repaired right away, and he was very helpful. John also worked hard to help me with transportation, when I left my car there a previous day.
The staff is awesome but Your going to wait a little bit because they have a lot of clientele coming through. So show up early.
WalMart would not do an oil change on my handicapped modified truck. American tir stepped yp and the young man I believe his name was Gary was very kind, accommodating and professional. I will send my friends and always return to American tire for as long as I am here for service on my truck.
Every time I use these guys theyve always gone out of their way. I go to these guys exclusively. My sense has always been that theyre honest. They guide me to different products and let me make the ultimate decision as to the product that works for me.

Don’t waste your money at this place. Very unprofessional and they overcharge you. I paid over 900$ for service I could’ve gotten a lot cheaper at a different location. They couldn’t even balance my tires properly, had to go to discount tires to get the issue resolved.

I was given a quote that beat all other competitors, my complaint would be that, I was given a time for an appointment, brought the tire in, and did not receive it for 2 1/2 hours later.
Went in to have A Oil change, Tire Rotation and Balancing . The young man Shawn that helped me was Very polite , and had alot of Knowledge . They had my car done in 35 min. I will definitly come back.

Took three hours for a tire change after I scheduled an appointment with them online. My wife went for me and they sold her the cheapest tires and not the ones I requested when I set up the appointment.
If you want to wait in a NON air conditioned JOKE of a waiting Room in the desert and Leave with tool marks on your rims and weights that are glued on on top of old then come to AMERICAS TIRE DEPOT. And their solution was for me to come down and if the scratches were deep enough they would paint over them.

GIVEN A SHOUT OUT TO AMERICAN TIRES!!! We gimped our Miss Bessie the Beast 🐂 (1997 Chevy Astro) to them yesterday, it was pretty late in the day, bout an hour in a half before closing time. Now Miss Bessie she is old and shes got quite a few cosmetic problems, but shes Chevy strong! Now you see, we dont got a whole lot of money, so we asked Miss Google where to go for a good deal on Two New Tires and Alignment, Miss Bessie has been chewing her front tires for pert near a year now (We Are Loving Our Dirt Road Life!). American Tires was the first one to show up on our search, They have almost a 5 Star Rating, so we choose to look at All of the Reviews. We talked to Bill, on the phone and explained that we dont have alot of money, what kind a deal could you work for us? Not Only did We get A GREAT DEAL, We Werent Treated Like Trash By Anyone Working at American Tires, cuz our Miss Bessie ant a looker and we dont have alot of money! They were able to repair the valve stem and we were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Kind and professional. Go here if you’re in a tire jam!

2021-12-30Guys were nice, fairly priced. The only issues I have with them is that they broke a wheel stud while working on my car and replaced it which wasn’t a big deal. A few months later as I’m getting my tires rotated they couldn’t remove two lugs because they were cross threaded. I have a feeling the techs use an impact to install lugs without ensuring they are on the thread properly.

2022-03-03Initially I was very concerned that I would be pressured to have unneeded services. I received a quote and appointment online, I was very pleased that my quote was honored and I was not pressured to have unneeded services preformed. The employee at the main desk asked if I wanted alignment, the only service I did not request, He stated that if my vehicle didnt need alignment they would not complete that service. To my surprise I did not need alignment, I was sure they would have said I needed to have alignment completed. I left completely satisfied and had to write a review. The friendly and honest customer service, quote and short wait time , 1hr, was not expected. American Tire Depot has a customer that will tell everyone to get service at this location.

2021-12-30I like these guys. When we moved here 5 years ago I came here when my new truck was picking up nails at our home construction site. They fixed several flats for free. I eventually had to buy a few new tires for the truck. I havent done business with any of the other tire shops in town and dont need to. Having been a car guy all my life Ive seen a few tire shops. They do fine, work hard (not a job most folks would relish) and save me from busting my old knuckles anymore.
