EXTREMELY helpful and friendly staff!!! They took good care of me and my car! They are my new car place. They do however need to fix their air conditioning. It was a hot box inside the waiting and sales area lol
I made an appointment for noon so I could get my tires rotated and oil changed. Unfortunately they are under staffed and told me my wait to get my car in was 1.5 hours even with an appointment. Very disappointed and unfortunately will not return with waits like that.
I’ve been a customer at American Tire depot since I’ve owned my car and every visit is great. This is my first time at this particular location and as always the service was great. Jaime and his team made me aware of what needed to be taken care of and provided excellent service while doing so. Will definitely continue to bring in my vehicle here.

I called to get a price check for a used tire, and was then bombarded with text messages and phone calls from the store soon after . It seems I was placed on an automatic marketing list that I didnt quite appreciate or consent to.
After searching for a legitimate shop to have a simple wheel alignment done on my chevy tahoe I wanted to go to a shop closest to my house which is Americas Tire Depot. I left upset and confused without getting my alignment done because the young man, I didnt get his name, at the front desk told me with an attitude, I would need to provide a back story in order for them to even see my car and give an explanation why I wanted a wheel alignment. What??? I havent had an alignment done in over a year and my tire tread was wearing out faster than normal. All I wanted was a wheel alignment and he tried telling me I needed a new suspension without even having the mechanic look at my truck. Ill never give them another chance at my business. I dont understand how there are so many positive reviews here after this being my 2nd bad experience. Dont try apologizing and dont tell me to email or call customer service. This is my review.
Great place to have any service done, not just tires. Ive had to stop here a few times due to flats and blowouts, and the guys are knowledgeable, competent and speedy. They get you in as soon as possible and dont leave you waiting longer than necessary. Prices are fair and their estimates are always accurate.
I brought in my boss Mercedes Sprinter Van to replace a tire. I showed the manager, Jaime, what had happen to tire and he suggested that I replace all of the tires due to the safety issue. The service here is great and the staff is awesome. With that said, I brought my truck the following day to get myself some new tires and an alignment check. They had a little issue installing my tires due to the incorrect tire. Jaime was very upfront of the situation and I believe it was Aldo(I apologize if the name is incorrect) at the front desk, he owned up to the mistake. Were human, everyone makes mistakes. But I got my truck the following day with new tires and an alignment done, its riding real smooth. Thank you Jaime and your staff for the great service.
Got new wheels for my car, same size as my current wheels. I just needed a shop to switch the tires from one set of wheels to the other, and to mount and balance. They had the best price and they gave me an additional discount for Yelp check in.Went with no appointment, but didnt have to wait that long. And they did a good job. I also needed to see how worn my brakes were. The guy doing the work walked me around the car while the wheels were off and showed me how worn the brakes were.Would go again and definitely recommend
I highly recommend This American Tire Depot in Santa Ana over the one i live locally by in Orange. The reason being was once you go through the door you are greeted by an employee ( Aldo - super cool and friendly) and not left sitting or waiting in the lobby for over 5 minutes like i was in ATD in Orange . Great customer service. I came in to buy 2- LT265/70R17 tires and after a day they called me to say they were ready for pick up. Id rate this store more stars but it only allows up to 5. I was recommended this place by my gf who also bought her tires for her dodge charger couple months ago and im glad she told me to go here too.
I came in with a leaky tire and the people here we great. I was helped immediately and they fixed the tire and had me on my way in about 15 minutes or so.Very friendly and informative. If I have future trouble or am in need of new tires down the line Ill be back.

These guys are fantastic! They know how to make it personable and very fair. Honestly its hard to come up with a great description that shows they care. But I will say Jaime knows how to make you feel welcome and want to come back next time you need something for you car!They are also a fast service for getting my tire patch, alignment and rotation!! What a great store! Jaime and crew bent over backwards to get me a new tire to match my current tires and get it mounted in short order after it was popped, sidewall torn out on Grand Ave in Santa Ana. This is a full service tire store that deserves the business.
Totally enjoyed American Tire Depot ,when I first entered I was greeted by Jaime, very nice very professional bilingual...although I have no problem with English 😀they gave me a great deal 👍they did a great job on my vehicle! Customer service was professional and friendly. They went extra mile to get what my vehicle needed. The quality of work was excellent. Took longer amount of time than quoted but they compensated for that. I would still go back again.
My tire popped on the freeway. I was lucky enough to be only a mile from American Tire Depot but showed up 15 minutes before they closed. They were incredibly accommodating and replaced my tire right away, staying 40 minutes late. I was very relieved and appreciative of their kindness and willingness to work with me.
I went there this morning with a flat tire and the service here was phenomenal. The manager made everything simple and quick with great service. I would highly recommend this place.
There are good ATD locations but this isnt one of them. Recommended a brake job I didnt need, bait and switch pricing, employees were not proactive on ordering out of stock tires or calling to let me know my appt couldnt be kept. If you go dont bother with the online system, youll probably have better luck as a walk-in.
I enjoy doing business with The American Tire Depot because I receive personalized and outstanding service from Jamie and Frankie at the front desk. They are knowledgeable about all their products and services and make you feel like family. I have gone here multiple times for new tires and other services and I would not go anywhere else because of the personalized service I get every time from Jamie and frankie and the entire American tire depot staff, they rock! Went in to get an oil change about 2 weeks ago. My oil filter wasnt switched out and there was still dirty oil in my vehicle. They also stripped my drain plug which caused a coolant leak. Never again am I coming back here. My car could of essentially died out.

I received excellent service and support from Jaime and the staff. They were kind enough to let me know when to come in so I could have my tires rotated along repairing a tire that had a nail in it. Thankfully, they were right because they got me in and out so I could get back on the road.

I had a slow leak in one of my tires so I took it here. They got me in and out pretty quickly for how busy they were. It’s been a couple of days and the tire is still holding air so I guess they did a good job too. I didn’t buy anything so I can’t give my opinion on that but I would highly recommend going here to get a tire plugged or patched.
Desperately needed tires and they had a promotion of “buy 3, get 1 free” so I thought I would stop by. The staff was transparent and made sure to stay below what I was willing to spend vs other places I’ve tried that are quick to add more things that aren’t needed. Overall, I felt taken care of and I’m loving the smooth drive. Thanks guys!
Service was good. And they were pretty fast. But I didn’t like when I went to pay and had been quoted one price and then was told I also needed an alignment and it would be $100 more. Maybe I did need that but I didn’t appreciate being told AFTER the fact. That should have been part of the quote and at least mentioned to me that it might be necessary IP FRONT. Surprises are not good business.
Jaime was an excellent front man for this operation. I’m used to high pressure sales tactics and I’m an impossible sale as I do my own fixes. But tires and alignments are outside my wheel house got an alignment this time will get tires sometime this year. New to the area. Can’t speak to their mechanics abilities but I brought in a car that was way out of alignment and they brought it right to the Honda specs as a walk in and wait customer I am very pleased.

The American Tire Depot onGrand in Santa Ana has been my go to for any car repairs for over 6 years. They do it all! Jaime, I think is the manager, has been so great for me any time I needed car help, whether it be planned maintenance or emergency work. He always fit our car in to get the work done within my schedule, would always explain everything and talk me through my options. He and the team do great work, get it done when they say they will, and are super reliable and professional. Thank you!
The staff is friendly but that is about it. I already looked on the website and priced out the brands of tires I am interested. The in-person quote was mid 500s. but the quote I saw online was less than 500. He showed me the screen and I saw the discount for 1 tire but the total is still not reflecting that. Something is not right. All I know is the price quoted was 100+ more than the online quote so I decided to walk off. My advice is to check the quote online before you go into the store.
Brought my Tesla in for installation and balance on my tires, not only the pricing was great, but Jaime and his staff went above and beyond to make me feel at ease about the situations with my wheels being cracked and the nuts/knobs being loose. The solve my issues with minimum labor charges. They even offered to shuttle me to and from so I didnt have to wait around. Great staff, great services...definitely will come back for future services!!!

Got all four tires and an alignment and they gave me such a good price for quality tires and work. Took the time to do my job right and never pressured me for things I didnt need. Walked in with just an oil change in mind, saw that they had tire specials. Guys at the front desk not only provided genuine care for auto but were apt to deliver my satisfaction from their service. I’m walking away with an oil change along with some air filter replacements for an AMAZING price. I was also able to leave a minimal deposit towards buying the new tires I desperately need and will be coming back to get them on. These guys are AWESOME. Came in today for oil change and with my van having vibrating and shaky at 65/mph or above. Art was so patient to walk me through the issues and solutions to fix that. Even though I wasn’t able to get everything done due to my budget, but he was so helpful to work with my budget and offer a plan for me to save money for.. I am glad to find this place. Highly recommend it!

Great first visit. I found myself with a flat tire the night before and some coworkers helped me put some air to tide me over until the next day. One of them recommended I get my flat fixed at the American Tire Depot and so I looked them up. The Santa Ana location on Grand was the closest to home so I made an appointment that night online. That was very convenient and then the next morning when I went in they had my paper work all printed out already. Everyone was super friendly and I just hung out in their waiting area while they fixed my flat and did an oil change. They got it all done in just under an hour and I only had to pay for the oil change. I will definitely be back to this location in the future.

I usually dont leave low feedback. They charged me maximum amount for the two wheel thrust angle alignment. My truck is pulling right side...i never had that issue. Called them back ...guy over the phone blaming tire issue. I doubled checked with different alignment shop. Front two tire are on their midlife true but they are evenly wear. Alignment shop told me American depot people didnt do good job.I am surprised how the people can lie. They supposed to offer good customer service. I guess i will never going back to them. Perhaps you should stay away from this store.
Did a great job with my tires but I was disturbed by the front desk guy. I said upfront that I had applied and received credit of $500 from Americas Tires. I came in to pick up my car and tried to say that he didnt know if the computer would work and would need to pay with debit/credit otherwise I would have to come back on Monday (it was a Saturday)I told him that I told him from the beginning that I had credit i wanted to apply. He basically was trying to make me pay with debit/credit right then. He said he would try and see if it worked. Somehow....it worked and got my credit applied. Maybe this is a move that worked with other people but not me. Dont bait and switch me or people. Please and thank you.

Ive now been here a few times (its right around the corner from my house), all with good service. 2 visits ago, I had a code pop up on my dash and my car started acting weird. Jaime and his crew helped me pinpoint the potential issue with a detailed scan, and didnt even charge me for the service. (in the end, further testing and a reset fixed the issue)In my last visit, it was just a screw in the tire, which needed a simple patch. Again, he declined charging me.To clarify, I am not writing this to say go here, hell do work for free! Rather, I just want to say that this group has been helpful and doesnt mind doing a good deed, and this, along with a general sense of trustworthiness (sometimes questionable in the industry) is why Im writing this review. Definitely recommended.
Came in to get one tire but they had a great deal if you buy all 4 they give you one for free and the quality of the tires them self are good its been a week but havent had any problems with them on the highway at high speeds even so for a small fee they will guarantee the tires for as long as you have them
Wanted to share my experience with America Tire Depot Santa Ana location. I called early Friday morning, I had google them the prior night, to my surprise this location opens at 7:00 a..m. It started off with a call with the manager Jaime he was very prompt and Attentive to my request. Once I provided tire Information he stated the tire was not available, however could have it delivered timely to be installed on my car. Jaime also suggested to drop off the flat, therefore once they received the order it’s ready just to instal on the car. The transaction ran as smoothly as he suggested and my work was not interrupted for long a period of time. The price of the tire was very reasonable.Jaime went above and beyond to make my experience seamless. Thank you Jaime I will definitely tell a friend!
I ordered tires from their website and scheduled an appointment. After receiving an email confirming the type of tire, price, and time of appointment, I re-arranged my schedule so that I could show up promptly and wait for installation.When I arrived, it took them 10 minutes to locate my online order information, and then another 10 minutes to determine that not only did they not have my tires at the store, they could not even get them anymore. They offered me a comparable tire, but wanted to charge me 50% more than the price they had advertised and confirmed in an email for the original tires. I declined to buy the alternative tires and left.This is the second time I have ordered online from them. The first time they also did not have the tires at the store when I arrived, but were able to get them later the same day for the same price.Beware of their bate and switch tactics. Do not rely on their emails confirming your order
We got a flat tire on the freeway, luckily not too far from American Tire Depot. They had the size tire we needed, changed it out for our flat in less than 1hr. They even accept my Synchrony card. They were very professional and polite. I recommend this place of service.
This place is so bad!!!!! I honestly had left my car since 8am and I had told them I would need to pick up my car by 1pm, I called to verify if it was ready and they told me 1 more hour and then when I got there it was still not ready. I felt this place was a rip off they charge me $115 for 1 hr labor and for a simple sensor to be replaced. I got charge 250 total when the part was only $60. I will never come back here. They also wanted to charge me a sale tax?? Like I’m not rich to be charge for any little thing. I felt they waisted a lot of my time.
Great service, I cant remember the last time I went someplace I did not purchase an item and got something free. There was no charge for the flat tire fix. I was in and out in about 35 minutes. Michael was polite and a great help.
I ordered my tires online and scheduled and appointment for the next day to have them installed. When I got there the tires had not arrived and it seemed they would not until late in the day. Before I could even respond the gentleman helping me automatically offered to make it right by upgrading me to a slightly better tire that he was able to get from a sister store nearby. Still had a bit if a wait because of this but the way he jumped straight to making it right and providing excellent service was great.When I went to pay we found another issue with the online order. They had quoted me for standard valve stems even though my car (which I had put in) has TPMS stems. The person again right away fixed the issue and charged me only what I had been quoted.The American Tire online ordering system leaves something to be desired but this location is excellent and I would ewcommrec it to anyone.

My reason for deducting one star is that even though I made an appointment, it was not honored and I had to wait 3 hours for my car to be done because they were short staffed. The service manager and techs were friendly. I will be back and hopefully wont wait as long.
I had an amazing experience at this location. When you wake up to a flat tire in the morning your day is already off to a bad start, but Im so glad I came here! Jaime was super friendly and had my tire repaired quickly! I will defiantly come to this location for any car service I need!
Came in for a tire change ended up getting all of my tires changed an alignment, oil changed. I was also recommended to a great auto body collision all at once. Great price and great customer service. Jaime is friendly and gives the best pricing.
They changed my tires quickly. balance was a bit off when they did -1 star. they added extra charges above what I was quoted after they did the service. I was told $165 and oil $20. I was charged $205 because they did not stock my filter and tires were a little more than expectedThis was told to me after they finished the service. I was also told he gave me a $20 break because of the quoted differences.Make sure you get your quotes in writing before allowing service. Other than that they were ok.
Jaime, the store manager, is very helpful and knowledgeable. He let me gives a good price and even lets you know what else needs to be fixed and will even give you an estimate. If its something you cant afford at the moment he understands and would never pressure you into it. Highly recommended.

Tire valve stem was leaking, went to a different tire shop and they didn’t have the TPMS repair kit for my chevy truck. Came here, were pretty busy, but very polite told them what I needed and they gave me the kit I needed for free!

Very disappointed with the price gouging here. I was told my car required synthetic oil (not true), so I had to pay extra. On top of that, I was lied to about getting a discount when it was clear I was not happy. There was no discount, I was charged the original quoted price. Use caution here, they were not honest with me.

This morning my wifes car had a flat tire. AAA came out to put on the spare and off I went to get it fixed.. American Tire Depot was great, they looked at my tire, made sure there was one in stock (or at a close my sister store) and began their work. Turns out I had a pretty big nail in it and the tech said he could fix it for sure instead of buying a new tire. Saved me about $160. I asked how much for the repair work, Free he said. Free? What is free these days at auto shops? I went to the bank and got a $20 and tipped the tire tech for his work. I always like to put out good karma when I can.

I got a flat from a nail after purchasing a full set of four tires. I called the office and the guy put me on hold. I was on hold for 25 minutes. I got tired of waiting and just drove there, on my leaking tire. I was still on hold when I got there in rush hour traffic and the sales person was just sitting there. He told me there were 3 cars already and he could not help me for 1 to 2 hours. They do not honor their agreements and have bad customer service. Dont go here.

Went in yesterday for Oil Change, they said it wasnt busy so it would be 30-45 min latest one hour, not a problem i come back one hour and see my truck hasnt been moved i go in to ask if its ready. they said can you give us another hour or 2?? normally i wouldnt have an issue but thats y i asked before leaving the truck how long it would take, i had my entire family with me and had a long drive home. very unprofessional. they could have called me to let me know if would be longer i had to take an uber ride to have lunch and an uber ride back to the shop.
1st time buying tires here and I just was well taken care by the manager Jaime took care of me. I will definitely be back. Thank you Jaime.
I ordered 4 new tires online from Discount Tire and went to American tires to get them mounted and balanced. Afterwards, I got an alignment. Upon driving on the highway, I noticed a vibration in the steering wheel that wasnt there. I looked at my wheels & tires and the front tires had over 4 oz of weight on it. They were too lazy to rotate the tires on the wheel and install it correctly.I went back to American Tires and the service guy said that I would have to pay for their warranty to get it re-balanced. I refused and left.
This place was great. First went to Big O tires for them to check my tire and put a patch on it and wanted to charge me $25. Went to american depot and they said they would do it for free! Great customer service. Jaime specifically was very helpful!
I was at Walmart trying to get new tires and before Purchasing four of them I googled them and saw a better price on American tire depot. I talked to Adam who gave me a better deal I was able to get the 4th tire for free and at a lower price. Adam was very nice excellent customer service.

Pretty honest. Seem real at what they do with your car. Will make you see the differences when it comes to tires. My car was in due for new tires but I didn’t have budget for it prepared. In Two weeks, I’ll be back like a man.

Had a simple order for a new tire cause mine poped. Ordered a tire over the phone on Friday, asked me to show up tuesday at 8. Tire was not there by 10:35 (unsurprisingly). Called the guy about it. He was super ambiguous and had no idea where the tire was. So I called again to get the ordered canceled and the guy got super rude. He talked back to me. I told him I was in Santa Ana this morning and called in to check on the tire. I live pretty far away and using a spare tire thats thin and wobbly is scary nonetheless. The guy was obnoxious as hell I was here all morning and no one was here. I was like did I say I was in the store? And he just started getting mad and jumpy. Crappy experience with crappy tire company. Not coming back. Have no idea what these google users are reviewing about.

Is it just me or am i getting ripped off here? I came in for a free inspection and came out with these numbers.- front control arms $520-all shocks and struts $850-rear trailing arms and bushings $580-4tires $280-alignment $89.95Now i know it sounds like alot of work but ive been watching youtube videos and it doesnt seem like alot of labor and the parts arent too expensive either.See the thing is im an expecting mother whos trying to get her car baby ready and im looking for a good deal so i was wondering should i take this one or can any one offer any better advice?
We were visiting from Colorado and we got a flat tire at Disneyland. We needed to have the tire fixed before driving back to Colorado and American Tire was just up from our hotel so my husband went over expecting to spend a ton of money. The gentlemen from American tire fixed our tire which had a nail or bolt in it, put it back on the car, and put the spare back under the vehicle. My husband asked how much does it cost and they said nothing just go to Discount tire when we are in Colorado. AWESOME Service!!! Thank you!!!

Unbelievable service and I would like to share what happened to me with a road rage person who slashed my tire with a knife and when I went to American Tire they gave me the tire at cost because we had just bought tires there are two months before now thats service for me not them they have my business for life

Very horrible experience..The tires prices are really good but the customer service and the extra fees are ridiculous..I gave specific instructions to the salesman and the job was not completed..On top of it they did not charged my card.. When filling the information needed we gave them our card but they were too stupid not to charge..When they finished the job, they set up my truck ready to leave with the engine on and gave us the key, so we left..Half way down the road they called us and notified us that we did not pay and if we didnt get back they were going to call police..So how was our fault..I did my transaction over the phone but they have such a lack of professionalism to attend this business...If your upset on working for the holidays then you are on the wrong job,,quit and let someone else do the job better...I will go back and have them finish the job since they already charged me.. After Ill take my business somewhere else..

Prices are a little high than other places. Took a long time for tires, alignment and brakes. However, customer service is great.

This place I thought was good but after buying new tires and warranty from them , the rounded my lug nuts and busted the caps off . My wife had a flat and it took a while to get the rounded lug nuts off

2022-07-08Jaime helped me out when I found my car with a terrible flat tire. I was in and out in 25 minutes or less, I couldnt be happier! He also honored a coupon I found online, which is such a help as well! I have been a customer of American Tire Depot for years and I have never had anything less than stellar service and repairs. I would give them ten stars if I could!!

2022-07-05The owner of this place should carry a gun because he is a crook. Talk about over pricing and ripping you off. They over price the parts they order for you and over charge you for their services. To add insult to injury they over look things as they failed to replace a broken wheel stud on the front right wheel of my car when doing my front brakes. An easy job they could have done but failed to do.

2022-06-18This place fixed my issue AND saved me money. My trucks tire sensor said my back left tire was low. I went to Big-O. They looked at the tire for 15 minutes trying to find a leak. They found a plug, but it wasnt leaking. They suggested I buy a new tire for around $160. I asked them to air up my tires, and Id come back the next day. I noticed that even though my tires were aired up, the sensor was still reading it was low. Ahh. My sensor was screwed up. Then I noticed that one tires WAS low, but it was not the one that the sensor was saying was low.So I had a tire issue and a sensor issue.I had an appointment at the American Tire Depot in Irvine for 5pm. I dropped my truck off at 4:50. Two hours later, they hadnt even looked at it. I was furious. Took my keys and left. The next day, I decided to try the American Tire Depot in Santa Ana, THIS one.AMAZING. Jaime was friendly and took the time to actually listen to what was going on. He and Tony sorted out the problem. I needed a leak fixed on one tire and my sensors needed to be recalibrated. They had my truck taken care of within 2 hours. Grand total was $69.99. I wasted a good 5 hours traveling and waiting at two other places, and was going to have to spend more than $150 on a new tire I didnt need PLUS then have to have the sensors fixed once that was figured out. The next time I have any issues, Im coming to American Tire Depot in Santa Ana first. These guys are great. Jaime and Tony are my new tire guys.

2022-06-15So my tire blew lotterally as i leave a gas station on my rental and of course there is no spare. So anyways i look for the best rated tire place near me and thjs place shows up in top 3. They more then fullfill there rating id place them probably top 2 but not esger to blow a tire just to try out the other guy lol. Seriously tho in and out in less then an hr professional attitudes and work .i recomend them if ur inbthe area and need work done from my experience with them id come back if i had to.

2022-01-15Do not go here for anything other than tires. We brought our vehicle to have the alternator fixed. They replaced the part and it was faulty, considering we were stranded and had to get a jump to bring the car back. They insisted because it was new, there was nothing wrong and what do you want US to do about it. Um.. how about check it again. Turns out it was a faulty alternator, after we got it diagnosed elsewhere, we had to pester them to REPLACE IT and when the car was returned all the electrical went out, nothing wrong with it before we brought it in. Im furious at this point and they had such a lack of respect for us by telling us to go to an electrician after they messed it up. I insisted they fix it, it was so bad that the neighboring electrician auto shop offered to fix it for free. It took almost 2 weeks to fix an alternator. The two owners (Ralph/Ralphy and the other guy) were incredibly apathetic the entire time and its shocking they think turning in a car with more problems than when it came in becomes the owners fault. This place is disgusting.
