The manager of the shop was very helpful . He was able to give me a good deal on my tires . His crew did a good job on my alignment and tire change I would definitely go back to the shop .
Not the most glamorous place, but the prices are better than anywhere else and the service is good. They have been my tire source for over 10 years, always reliable.
The crew at American Tire Depot is 100% legit. I came in without an appointment and I was out two hours later. While changing my tires, they noticed an issue with my axle, but instead of pressure-up-selling me, they offered good advice on how long it may be good for if I had it serviced recently. While I declined their offer to repair it, they were quite transparent in their pricing and their service. I may even go back to them for the service they mentioned I might need. But until then, Im quite happy with the tires and the alignment. Thanks!

Onetime, my buddy, who lives nearby, got a full flat and they brought an air tank over, filled his tire, and drove it to their shop to fix it. All for free. Best in the game!

Not too long ago, I visited American Tire Depot to purchase new tires. I had been meaning to replace my tires for way too long and American Tire Depot was conveniently located near my home on the route I drive almost daily. The employees there were personable, professional, and very accommodating. They worked quickly, kept me updated on their progress, and did their best to provide me a fair price for all the work I ended up needing (on top of the new tires). When I was hesitant to agree to the extra services they recommended, they suggested I come take a look myself before making my decision. They also stayed open late just so I could come by to pick up my car before they closed for the weekend, of which I cannot express how appreciative I am. On top of all that, when I recently got a flat tire, I called up American Tire Depot to review their replacement/coverage policy and the manager personally drove out to where I was stranded and changed the flat tire to my spare so that I could drive the last few minutes to the American Tire Depot store. Once there, I got everything fixed up for a very reasonable price. I plan to continue using American Tire Depot for all my tire needs, even if/when it is not so conveniently located for me, and I recommend this store and its fantastic employees to anyone in need of new tires!
I have been to this shop about 4 times now and every experience has been amazing!! First off they are very affordable and fair! Quick to get you in and out, even when for a walk in apt!! The customer service is always great. They guy are so kind and professional!!Theyve done my tires and changed oil, fixed my starter!! Its not just a tire shop yall, they do great mechanic work too!! And again, they are fair and honest in this department too!
Terrible alignment quality and customer service. I’ve been back several times for alignment issues. They installed the wrong tires and also charged me the wrong price. Please look elsewhere. Do not let the prices fool you. You will be back guaranteed.

Brought my 93 van in because the steering was loose. Mechanics did a full check or the suspension and decided it just needed an alignment. They even helped me bolt down the steering wheel free of charge. They were more than fair and very helpful (even though they were slammed). Would definitely recommend to a friend.
Truly incredible shop. Noticed a nail in my tire and headed right over to get I️t patched. They pulled the car in, put I️t on a professional lift, took the wheel off, patched it, and inspected the suspension while at I️t.Super fast honest work! I go to pay and they wouldn’t take my money. Been here twice and I will not be going back. Both of my visits lasted 3 hours or more even though I had called ahead of time and was told an appointment was not necessary and that I should just head on down and well take care of you. On my first visit, I needed 1 tire changed over onto a rim that wasnt even on my car. My second visit was to repair 1 tire that had gone down multiple times. Those are 15 minute jobs at the most at other tire shops, so why did it take an entire morning to even bring my car into the shop and 3 hours for you to change the tire over? Side note: they didnt even repair my tire, just gave me the old you need a new one without an actual reason as to why it couldnt be repaired, which quickly evolved into the classic well actually you need a whole set sales pitch. Didnt buy a single tire that day and my car drives fine, what a coincidence. My quarrels are not with the staff, both times they were incredibly nice and professional. I am just enraged that there seems to be some sort of secret procedure for you to get an appointment that was not made available to me and resulted in me wasting my time twice. Im taking my business elsewhere.
For the price and service offered it seemed alright and I’ve gone to other American tire depots in the past so I had high expectations of my visit.However this time they were unable to perform the service requested. Charged me labor for doing nothing. Tried to price gouge me on a part saying it would cost $250 for their cheapest one or the one they recommend as going to cost me $600 dollars. The part in question can be found online all day for under $75. And to top it off I brought my truck else where to have an alignment done and they noticed that the drivers side shock strut assembly was not bolted in. Incredibly unsafe practices performed by this business. I would strongly recommend against this place to anyone. If I could give a no star review I would!
These guys were awesome and so nice! They were honest with me about my vehicle’s needs and didn’t try to get me to pay for unnecessary services. I’m usually intimidated in settings like these, and they made me feel extremely comfortable! The price I paid was extremely reasonable for 4 new tires, an oil change, and an alignment. Definitely coming back for all of my vehicle needs in the future!

Great service. Be careful scheduling appointments online due to the website not reflecting what is in stock. However, when confirming over the phone the staff was very helpful in recommending a similar tire that they could get in stock next day. I was recommended a better tire for similar price to the one I originally requested. Very happy with the service provided and the staff.
Needed a second opinion on a bad alignment inspection result, was told by Danny to bring my car by and theyd check it out. Lance helped me get in the system and the car checked in within 10 minutes, with my vehicle being inspected less than 30 after that (even with a car ahead of me in line).Lance came back with the results and 3 different options for me to choose from for what route to take on getting the car back closest to factory specs. He was very detailed in what work would happen during each option, how it would affect the car now and in the future and the price differences between each. With all of that I was able to easily decide which fix was the best for me at the moment.The tech working the alignment inspection was quick and even noted some other issue hed spotted on one of my tires and also suggested a (free) rotation. After deciding a basic TOE alignment would be best cause itd fix 90% of the issues id been experiencing, it took him less than 30 min to finish it all up.Before heading out Lance helped me set up some future work to be done that he just saved in my file so when I come back itll quick and simple for anyone to know what Ill be needing.The best shop Ive ever been to, Ill be returning and will recommend to others, these are the kinda guys you want working on your car.
Yesterday I had a rear tire explode on the freeway yesterday and had to call a tow truck as the car was no longer driveable. No spare tire on my Fiat 500. I called American tire and received excellent customer service from Daniel and Lance and the tire install worker. They had 1 new tire that would fit my Fiat and provided that when the tow truck got to the shop. In a very short period of time it was installed and I was on my way home. Huge thank you to the fellas at the shop. They made a bad afternoon turn out great.
Lances helped me. He was very professional, friendly and his customer service was top notch. He brought to my attention some repairs needed to my car. He showed me all needed done and walked me thru it to clarify he wasn’t just out to make money and truly cared about the well being of my car. He quoted me on prices and advised he’ll beat the price of my mechanic if I bring him a quote. He even fixed my hood open switch to boot. Thanks Lance for really taking the time to ensure my car needs were taking care of and getting me in and out so quickly for a tire rotation. You’re the bomb!
I had a great experience and will definitely be back for all my maintenance. Got an oil change and free tire rotation. I didn’t have an appointment but called ahead and they told me to come right over. Upon checking me in, the tech told me it would be about 1.5 hours. Sure enough, exactly 90 mins later, my car was ready to go. They did everything I needed for a great price and provided friendly service throughout. I highly recommend them.

This is BEST Tire Shop I have been to in San Diego County! There is not a single tire place that is more honest, straight forward and works with you to get you the best deal for the right set of tires. I had a tire alignment that was discounted with a promotion they had. I also needed a single tire for my 2011 Audi A4 that had custom 18 rims with low profile tires. They offered the best deal for a single tire replacement but it was not necessary. Upon inspection they found a nail in my tire and repaired it for free!!! I have never had this type of great and honest service at Discount Tire, Evans Tire, Costco or a cheap tire shop. I highly recommend this tire shop, make sure to call in since they are busy on daily basis and an appointment will save you some time! They work fast but its understandable that they have a hard time keeping up with the ir high demand at times.
I was so impressed with Tire Depot. I went in on a Friday, they had me an appointment the next day and my car was done that day. They are super honest and don’t try to nickel and dime you. Definitely recommend.

Im getting ready for a cross country trip, and its a stressful one because theres some family stuff going on and everything feels difficult. I didnt tell them about it when I went in, but even without knowing that, they really took good care of me and the unexpected kindness really made a difference in my day. I definitely recommend this place.
Needed a new tire after getting a flat tire. Replaced and aligned tires. They will tell you how much it will cost and that’s what you will pay. No hidden costs. Great customer service. Over all it was a smooth transaction. This place is my new tire shop and would recommend to anyone.

All the advantages of a big tire shop but the feel of a friendly, neighborhood small business. Daniel and the whole team went above and beyond to help me get new tires. They took time to ask me about my driving habits and car usage and made sensible recommendations. Not only was it a great price, but they also pointed out that they had a coupon on their website to lower the price of the alignment.When my car inexplicably wouldnt start, Daniel pulled his own car around the block to jump it right on Adams St. My car started, and they brought out the diagnostic to clear all the codes that my dead battery had triggered so I could pull it into the shop and they could begin work. While they were changing the tires, they tested my battery for me. Everything checked out, they sent me on my way - a very happy and new loyal customer!
I came to this shop for a tire repair the staff was incredible. I worked with the manager onsite and he was friendly, professional, and was very respectful to social distancing and wearing a mask, which is important to me because my wife is pregnant and high risk to COVID. Overall, coming to American Tire Depot was a great decision, I highly recommend coming here for your tire/auto needs and I will come back again.
I am very pleased with the service here.Super friendly staff all working away at a strong pace.Reasonably priced, and despite how steadily busy they were, fairly quick.There is a small waiting area with a zen koi pond & gentle breezes to while away the time while the mechanics explore the mysteries of tire maintenance and alignment.Be prepared, however, to have the Best Of The ‘80’s serenading you at about 60 decibels. There is always the coffee house about 2 blocks East to while away your time.I will happily return here for rolling rubber needs.Thanks, and good work, fellas!

I have always been very happy with this place. Prices are fair, workmanship never an issue and have lifetime rotation and replacement for damage.I would give 5 stars but Ive made an appointment 3 times and all 3 times it is 1.5-2hrs which makes me think it is not really an appointment but I am not sure. Always happy with the tires and rotation services..
American Tire Depot has been my go to shop for the past 10 years and maybe 5-6 cars between my wife and myself. The way Daniel runs his business has proven itself to me over that time so I was so happy to be able to bring my banged up truck to him after a crash that merited some more serious work. I recognize I’m at the mercy of the mechanic when I have a car trouble and a lot of dirt bags take advantage of that. I also know enough about cars to know that I’ve been treated right every time at ATD so hell yeah I’ll take the time to fill out this review!
I had a poor experience and as a result I doubt the quality of the work performed. I asked to have the wheel alignment checked. They went ahead and performed the alignment without asking first. They apologized for performing the alignment without asking and offered a discount from $100 to $80. They then claimed the lower control arms had torn bushings (both? on a ~70k mile car?) and quoted $600 to replace both control arms. They did not offer to show me the bushings or even pictures of the damage. I got them down to $550 for the alignment and arm replacements. They claimed their parts were more expensive (about double from my research online) because they buy non-Chinese and offer a lifetime warranty. They were fuzzy on the labor time and cost. Needless to say, I was not convinced the work was needed nor was impressed with the customer service. I recommend finding a different shop that proactively communicates before doing work and provides evidence of problems. Find a shop that is transparent in its pricing and shows the evidence of problems instead of rushing you into a deal.
It was my first time in and I decided to go solely based off their ratings. Im glad I did! I came in for an alignment expecting to make an appointment but they were able to take me right away. Wait time estimate was about an hour and a half, it took a bit longer than that but I really didnt mind. Prices were fair and the customer service was great. Brian took care of the the alignment, rotated my tires, and checked under the hood for some concerns I had too. Im a satisfied customer and happy to say Ive found my go-to local shop!
This is one of the best car repair places I have ever been to, and believe me, at 65 years of age I have been to quite a few! A very efficient and well-run shop, with friendly and polite staff - Daniel in particular was super helpful and took the time to clearly explain exactly what was going on with my car. The prices here are great, and just so you know, they dont only do tires. They installed new front shocks on my Prius, and will be doing the brake job when that comes due. I cannot recommend this place enough!
I was in town for a couple a days and needed reassurance on my tire pressure before I get back on the road. Upon arrival I explain what I needed and they were so nice and were on it right away! I recommend this place for anyone that needs a quick and free tire pressure check up. Thank you guys! :)
Update: Thank you to the store manager Daniel for making things right with our situation. We got four new tires installed today and it took less time than originally quoted. Thanks again American Tire Depot team!We purchased tires here two years ago and get our tires rotated here after each oil change. Yesterday we went in to get our tires rotated and after a 2.5 hour wait were told that our tires were to bald to rotate. When we brought up the warranty they claimed they dont warranty all terrain tires which was not the discussion when we bought them and according to the Mastercraft website the Courser STR tires we purchased have a 50k warranty. Unfortunately that doesnt really matter because American Tire didnt record the mileage when they installed the new tires.
These guys will get all of my tire business. Best place in town for new tires or flat repair.Once again these guys took great care of me. Had an emergency flat tire repair and they had it fixed and on my way right away no charge. Wont go anywhere else for my tire business.

My experience was chill. Found the tires online then called the location closest to my pad. They told me which store location had my tires so I dropped off the car at the location that had my tires. I picked up my car two hours later with four new rubbers plus an alignment... parking can be tricky at the Adams Ave location. Be patient.
Went in to get my tire plugged due to a slow leak. No appointment necessary. The staff was super friendly. The service was quick and they didn’t charge me. What?! Go there and support them! I’ll definitely be back for new tires and an alignment soon.
Dropped off a damaged tire for repair or replacement. Was helped immediately. A quick check by a tech determined that I needed a replacement. Since I could come back in a few hours to pick up my completed tire, I was set up in the computer and on my way in a few minutes. Price for the tire, mount, and balance was fair. Tech even offered to put it back on my car later.
Went in to get a tire patched and they did such a good job and were so fast/nice I keep going back for all my regular maintenance. I always feel like shops are trying to scam me since Im a youngish lady but not here. They are straight forward and trustworthy. The service is quality and they make me feel incredibly comfortable.
Best tire shop in SD. I’ve gotten at least 3 whole sets of tires from these guys over the last 10+ years. They’re very friendly and they always hook me up with the best price possible. There’s no other tire shop in SD I’d take my cars.
This team is second to none. I only trust Tire Depot and Dealership for work on my Toyota. The team is highly skilled, highly personable, professional and trustworthy. Had a great experience with American Tire Depot. I have been a customer for a long time and they have earned my business. These guys are great. I went in for this morning for an oil change and alignment. They did a thorough inspection of my car, and spotted a few other items to address (my car is 10 years old so this maintenance is expected). They offered fair prices, and got the work done even earlier than promised. I really appreciate their service.

Had my car towed to ATD without any heads up. They took me at a moment’s notice, looked at my car, let me know what I needed to get done, replaced the tire (at a reasonable price) and had me out the door in just a couple of hours. Called American Tire Depot as I needed 3 new tires. Talked to Carlos who was awesome! Very professional and the entire team is very professional. The prices are ridiculous! And they are very fast!I got 3 new tires for a total of $205 and they kept the old tires and didnt charge me for the recycling.They also checked my car for alignment for free and they are a 1 stop shop for other car repairs.They are my go to now and HIGHLY recommend them!
Ive been coming here for years, mainly to check my tire pressure and for a rotation (no charge). Two days ago I had an oil change at the dealership and was told that I needed new front tires. They, along with the alignment would be over $950!!! ATD only charged me $750 and the work was done within the exact time that was promised. The people here are wonderful and I highly recommend them. 👍👍👍

I made an appointment online. They didn’t have the tires I requested in stock but they were able to find a similar tire and price match. They were done with all four tires in under two hours and they were the best price I could find.
I have lived in San Diego for 28 years now and have been going to this company since my first truck back in 1992. The care and professionalized service is a rate above the rest of the competition tire dealerships.My last visit was just 2/20/2020, due to a blown out tire and I had to go to an appointment and they said it would take 1-2 hours to replace 2 new tires and do the alignment. So I was going to just come back on Monday to do it but Ray one of the owners said I could use his car as a Loaner so I wouldn’t miss my appointment. That to me was great service because this was not an appointment I could miss and reschedule. Thanks again Ray for doing that for me that day! This company goes beyond great service for all there customers and I would highly recommend them👍😀

Came in with an appointment for new tires, oil change, and an overall inspection. Explained I was going to be driving the car up to Oregon and would like them to check everything to make sure the car was ready for the trip.Got the tires changed and inspection completed in 2.5 hours. Unfortunately, 2 days later I had to pay for a new battery to be put in on the road trip up... not sure what the overall inspection they performed included but a battery check was definitely not a part of it. Was expecting more from this place after reading all the good reviews about prices and service.
Overcharge alert! Tried to rip me off charging me $500+ to replace a driver side mirror. I looked up the mirror, $101 for a replacement. He said the $350 in labor was “commission” for his employee cause; and I quote “my guys have to get paid too.” I highly recommend you don’t come here.
Came in with a noise in my tire. I was immediately taken care of. I did have to make an appointment for the next morning, but as soon as I got there they opened, took my car in, found the problem, remounted my tire, and I was out in 40 mins. So fast, amazing work, great staff. Definitely going back if I have tire issues again.
Very helpful, attentive and aware staff/Employees at the Adams Avenue Americas Tire Depot.They were prompt to get someone to attend to my automotive needs and reported to me the status of what I knew was needed regarding the brakes, the strutes, and other suspension concerns. I also had the oil changed and front end alignment.I know from this experience at Am. We’ve been buying tires and getting work done here since they opened. They are honest, skilled and experienced. I recommend them without hesitation and have sent friends here who are also always satisfied.At least get a quote from them before you buy tires elsewhere, especially at a dealership.I think they’ll always give you a better price and work with you to save more money by avoiding unnecessary tire replacement.
My tire pressure light kept turning on and after getting my tire checked at 2 other businesses, I kept having the ongoing issue. Finally, I came here and upon arrival was immediately advised that one of my tires needed an urgent replacement. The customer service was great and to the point. Amazing employees and one of the lowest shop rates in town to do work. They knocked out an engine swap in 1.5 days, for a rate lower than I was quoted anywhere else. Very fair pricing, and great quality work. This is a good shop to got to when in need for an honest answer and estimate
I’m so impressed and thankful for the American Tire Depot. I noticed one of my tires had a huge chunk taken out of it and was nervous to be driving on it. I called to see if they had the tire I wanted and even though they didn’t, they said they could get it for me that day and I could come in for an appointment that day as well. When I got there, just like promised, they had the tires I wanted. I dropped off my car and was expecting the appointment to take over an hour (this is the timing I had been quoted at Toyota) and they were done in 35 minutes. I also appreciated they were able to see me after I was done working for the day (especially the same day I called!) because the latest appointment time Toyota has in any given day was 2:00, meaning I would have had to take a half day of work just to get tires. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, everyone was very kind, and I really truly appreciate them helping me out so quickly.

Always a great experience this is my 3rd service. Dropped my car off for service and tire rotation and was ready within the time they said it would be. Always very fair pricing compared to other places and customer service great and most importantly at these covid times they all wore their masks which made me more comfortable!
Im always happy to take my car here. Everyone is friendly and super chill. Most recently I picked up a nail while driving. I came in without an appointment and they got to my car right away. They fixed my tire and I was back on the road in about 30 minutes.Which is just enough time to talk to the koi.Everyone wears masks. Hand sanitizer at the counter.
This place was recommended by a friend. I came in because my brakes were grinding. I was looking for a quote on the service and also looking for new tires. This place took care of everything. My brakes and new tires on my baby Casino. They were very knowledgeable, quick, and affordable. I will happily share this place with everyone I know. First class operation. Ive been here before for a flat repair which was done at no charge. I price checked two new tires for my Tesla X and was happy to find a great price at AMD. Davids crew got me in and out and even recommended a breakfast spot while I waited.

Only place to have my tires in my brand that was convenient for me. Though parking is tight, these guys had me in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. Ive never used this place before yesterday, but I may be switching from the discount place by my home in Murrieta.

Outstanding service! I showed just about 15 minutes early, Ray and his crew got right on the job and directed me to park and see the service desk inside. I gave them the quote number, and I will say that they totally honored the quote and discounts down to the penny. I would have given another star if it hadnt been for the guy at the service working on other invoices before he got to mine. The whole experience would have been 15 minutes or less, but I am happy to have a new pair of tires with a road hazard warranty for less than I paid one of their competitors a few weeks before. So it took 20 minutes. Ray is a stand up guy, and very accommodating with his crew and the service! Probably still the fastest and easiest tire experience ever! Thanks American Tire Depot! I know where I am going the next time I need tires. ( I have a truck that needs tires soon too!)
It was fairly fast, got an oil change, 4 tires, and wheel alignment. About 3 hrs in total. Reasonable pricing. Gave 4 starts because it was raining and cold. Thr carport style waiting area is unpleasant.

Purchased 4 new tires as my tires had pieces missing, weird huh? Made an appt for the following day to replace tires. Found the reason for the missing chunks was due to faulty lower control arms and front struts that needed replacing. This was an unexpected expense that I was not happy about. Daniel (manager) said they could replace parts today but would take several hours to get parts from off site and do the repairs. They willingly offered to loan me one of their private vehicles so I could go home and return several hours later.Bottom line, they treated me with respect and honesty. Ive been taking my cars to them for years and will continue to do so.
Brought my 2017 Cadillac ATS here on my way to work because I hit a pothole that messed up my rim & almost blew my tire after the rain. These guys are AWESOME and my new go-to. Fast, knowledgeable and absolutely great prices! I’m going back this weekend to have them install new tires in the back & pick up a new rim. If you’re willing to step away from the “upscale” spots to save $1,000, then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Will be bringing my wife’s Jeep in for some All Terrains by the end of the month.
Great customer service Ray took my truck in. He checked out the problem with my tire. I explained another issue. Ray said I’ll take care on it. His crew did just that, got to work. Had an appointment for 8am (first time customer), they told me it would probably take an hour. I ended up picking up an unexpected shift for app-based work on my way there. When I got there I told him I could come back if it would take an hour because I ended up having to work. The manager informed his mechanic to get my vehicle done first, and fast. I was out of there by 8:20 and happily on my way to the shift I picked up. Will definitely be going back here.
Decent prices brought me in. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I came in for tires ($320 out-the-door; balanced and installed new tires with disposal of my old tires) and they spotted that my control arm bushings were shot which led to premature tire wear (allignment to come after replacement of bushings by my regular mechanic). They also spotted that my front brake pads were worn and nearing the end of their life. They seem to have an abundant number of staff so the work is done quickly.
Extremely friendly and personable! Amazing service and outstanding hospitality. They did great work on my vehicle and offered a free oil change. Let me sit inside with my baby on a hot day to stay cool while maintenance was being done! Thank you!

Not only did they check my tires but they went the extra miles and check my brakes and the wheels. I always have confidence in them that theyre telling me the truth in her honest people. I really didnt like going to Honda to get my oil changed, now I never have to go there again! There is NO parking ...... but if you know that going in, then you will never go anywhere else again. Ive been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. Everyone is always so professional and friendly. The work done has always been excellent - on everything from my first old car, to a work truck that I owned, to my current old jalopy. I feel like the pricing is always very fair, especially for the high quality.
This past Saturday was my first time coming to American Tire Depot and I had a great experience! All of the guys are very friendly and they don’t try to take advantage when selling you tires. They definitely try to work with you but get you in some good quality tires. I purchase four new set of Goodyear on sale and they have been awesome so far, the drive has been so smooth. I highly recommend this place if your looking for affordable tires!

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My wheel was slightly bent. A well known tire shop said I needed to replace it and gave an estimate of $200+. I then took it to American Tire Depot for a price estimate and they said they could repair it instead of replacing it. They were busy but they fixed it right then and they did it FREE OF CHARGE!!!!!! I mean can you believe???????? Love them. They have my business for forever

Bryan the mechanic was gifted. Plus he didn’t stop until the alignment was perfect. He went back & got it to the exact recommendations per the autocross expert. My son an avid car mechanic enthusiast & I were there for a while & it was cool how he explained everything. The cost was just right!!! We went there because that’s where autocross racers recommended!!
These guys are great! Fast, friendly, helpful and cost efficient! The only complaint that I have is that there are fingerprints and dirt marks on the tan leather in my Cadillac, but I’m sure that it’ll come out with a little leather cleaner. Overall though, they’re really awesome!!!

I took in my 7 series for a flat tire. Unfortunately they were not able to repair it. They were able to get me a new tire the next day. This is great because sometimes it takes a couple days to get tired for this car. Plus the price was really good.
Weve been here twice, once for a tire replacement and once for a tire repair (the latter was free). Service both times took about 2 hours which might be on the slow side, but Ive never been to a tire shop that was much faster so I cant judge that too harshly. There were plenty of coffee shops nearby to work from while I waited. The replacement/repair jobs were good quality and we havent had any related issues since. No one tried to up-sell me anything, which is always a relief.
I want to give a big big shout out to Daniel. I was ready to head to work this morning when I heard an unsettling noise on my back tire. Not risking it, i went straight to American Tire Depot. Daniel was working the front desk and told me hed take care of it. I didnt think he would be the one to diagnose the problem (thought he might hand it off to someone working the garage) but he personally dealt with my car. He did a great job on giving me updates and ultimately figuring out what needed to be done. An hour later.. my car was ready and I was back on my way to work. This experience was straightforward, easy, and all around pleasant because i only worked with Daniel and he was a professional. I will be coming back and will refer to friends who are looking for a shop to trust. Thank you, Daniel!

First rate, no BS service.Daniel was extremely helpful, empathetic & honest.Their technician sincerely wanted to do his best in fixing a really jacked up issue with my car.I went to 2 places, before getting my car to ATD, & nobody would touch my car or they were going to charge me a ton more. Daniel said theyd take care of it without even seeing it & it was finished right away.It makes sense that ATD had a line of cars to work on while each of the 2 places that wouldnt take my car had open bays & wrench twisters just standing around.I did also go to Discount Tire but they dont do mechanical work so, I wont get down on them The crew at Discount Tire were as helpful as they could be & got me referred to Daniel at ATD.I will definitely be back when I need work on my cars.UPDATE: I told you Id be back. Mike helped with an online tire order & some other repairs we needed.I still cannot recommend this ATD location more. Its a pleasure to have your very fine service again.UPDATE UPDATE: From the previous update, all of our wheel caps were gone. Only 1 was missing when we checked in. Nobody ever called us back when we were assured, twice, that we would be called. When we picked up the car we were told they were not able to get the TPMS warning light to reset or go out. I went months with that stupid light on. 1 tire looked low, the other day. I put 3 more lbs. PSI in & the TPMS light is now out. I ordered exact replacement tires online. I was called from this shop & I was told they didnt have the exact tire but they had a tire that was the same quality for the same price. Nope. I maybe have 17k miles on the new tires & not much more before I have to get them replaced. My old tires had easily over 45k miles on them. My 1st experience was great. My 2nd time spending several hundred dollars with them ended up losing my future business.
I would never go anywhere else except here for my tires! I love these guys! This morning I noticed a metal object in my tire. I immediately drove to the shop... I was greeted as always and asked what the problem was. I showed him the metal protruding from my tire. Off he went and returned with a squirt bottle and pliers. Removed the metal.. checked the integrity of the tire. Congratulated me on no leaks and off I went. No charge...no problem!! Love these guys!!

So far so good. I had gotten a quote from Evans tire as they had a special of buy 2 tires get 2 free. After the quote I was online and saw American Tire Depots yelp rating of “5”. I read a few of the reviews and decided to call and get a price quote. Evidently they have a policy of beating The competitions prices. They beat it by $10 and the icing is they were closer to my house. Yay! took my car in the next day got my tires. Oh also the tires they sold me was good for 55k vs Evans 50k miles
They were super friendly and got my car in right away! They did a free car inspection, and changed my oil. They also gave me a discount since it was my first time there! Definitely recommend and will be going back!
Overall decent prices and good customer service. Now I came to get 2 tires and ended up getting all 4 replaced. After, I left now when I reach certain speeds my car shakes.... It wasnt shaking before and I only came because I punctured one of the back tires which wouldnt impact my car shaking. So I went back ( bc they have a 5day guarantee) and the employee said it may be my suspension thats causing my car to suddenly shake......
Tire Depot fills my tires when low and has patched punctures from nails in the road at no cost. Their prices are competitive and they do alignments which not all tire stores offer. I appreciate the friendly employees very much!
After a long day of teaching my high school kiddos I came out of my classroom to find my car had not 1 but 2 flat tires! My friend recommended this place to me so I had AAA tow me here. Since I arrived close to closing I was afraid I would have to leave my car overnight and return in the morning to pick it up. That would mean I would have to hire a substitute teacher to cover my class. The shop would not allow that to happen! They took care of me right away to make sure I would be there for my students in the morning. Such excellent customer service. I am truly grateful and will be back for future service here.

Theyre an all around good shop for wheel alignments and tires. They will inform you of any issues before trying to do an alignment. They will fix it for a reasonable price of you chose to have it fixed. Decent pricing and great customer service, is why I keep going there.
Getting a flat tire is always stressful...and as a woman, I always get nervous going to any car service facility as were more like to be taken advantage of in regard to pricing, what our cars need, etc. Us girls just dont always know much about cars!Not only did the guys at this place replace my tire in no time, but it was for a great and affordable price. The least I could do was say thank you and leave a great review. Ill definitely spread the word and keep you in mind for next time. Great customer service. Daniel was Honest and very helpful as he made recommendations for my 2012 Hyundai Sonata tune up for a cross country trip. He quoted me at 2-3hrs on a busy Saturday morning, and when I returned for my car 2.5 hrs later, it was ready to go!

Ray and the rest of the crew have taken care of my cars over the last 12 years! I came in for tires and upon inspecting my car they noticed a significant oil leak. I knew there was a leak but they showed me how bad it was and noticed my oil level was low because of it. They were able to fix the leak quickly at a very reasonable cost. I’m so grateful for these guys!
Customer Service exceeded my expectations. The specific tire that I needed for my car wasnt in stock but, they were able to order and deliver the tires the same day. Went in for rear breaks. But seems thats not all I needed. The guys informed me need front breaks n shocks n struts as well. There goes my budget. But they offered me a package price n saved me over $1000. Thanks American tire depot. Service time was reasonable got my car back same day and Im very happy with the way my car drives. I bought new tires, got a flat after 300 miles driving, that can happen. My complaint is it taking 2 days to order new tire after it was delivered to the wrong store. After installing tire the mechanic had no idea how to put back the donut tire in trunk with the jack assembly. I had to do it myself. Then when I got home I checked tire pressure because I remembered when they put on the new tires last time psi was 55, 24, 36, 20 and again this time better but not even 40, 37, 34, 35. Theyre a tire store, one would think they know how to do the basics. Oh, and I just noticed writing this they didnt bother to reset tire pressure warning. When I called to let them know the tire pressure was off they hung up. It appears when they have to replace a tire under their warranty theyre not very happy about it. Ive been coming to this place for tires and alignment for 18 years. Very disappointing service has become so horrible. If you do business here, please check your tire pressure, they apparently wont.
TLDR; Steer clear of American Tire Depot, they dont always have the lowest prices, they dont always beat local competitors, and if you do catch them, they dont have the credibility or the professionalism to live up to the guarantee they list on their homepage. They are extremely untrustworthy. Take your business somewhere that actually price matched, is professional, and stands by their word, like Discount Tire.So Ive come to American Tire Depot before and I had good service. Today I got a quote for my tires at the dealership (my car was in for something else) and I figured I would go back to American Tire Depot to see if they could beat it, after all it does guarantee that theyll beat anyones prices or your tires are free.So I called and spoke with Daniel and even sent him the quote from the local San Diego dealership. Im not mad it took him almost 4 hours to get back to me, but I must say Im disappointed that they wouldnt live up to their own guarantee. American Tire Depot was charging almost $200 more than the dealership. They not only refused to match the dealerships price but their own guarantee (featured prominently on American Tire Depots homepage) that theyll beat any local competitors price or youll get your tires for free is a complete joke.I should note that I just got off the phone with Discount tire and they are happy to match the dealerships price. So a word to the wise, shop around and dont believe youll get the best price here.UPDATE: So I called their district manager, Tommy, youll see his number in the reply from them below, and he said he would investigate and listen to the calls. I got a call back from him at the end of the day and apparently when he spoke with Daniel (the gentleman who said he couldnt beat the dealership price) at the store, listened to the calls and read the email, and Daniel indicated I was lying. Apparently the one call where Daniel told me he wouldnt match the dealership price wasnt recorded and Daniel claimed that he told me they could beat the dealership price and I told him, fine, then Ill just get it at the dealership. Which makes no sense whatsoever. The whole point of calling them was to get them to beat the dealership price, why wouldnt I get the tires from them if they had the lowest price? Nevertheless, Tommy (the district manager), didnt believe my story. Tommy even agreed that Daniel was rude on the calls he was able to listen to and if he were me he would have been upset at Daniel.How convenient that they dont have the one recording that shows they refused to beat the dealerships price. They clearly chatted internally, verified that they did make the mistake of not honoring their guarantee, and after some cost-benefit analysis, decided they would rather concoct a ridiculous story and accuse me of lying than to actually live up to their guarantee.This all makes me even more upset with American Tire Depot, but I guess I shouldnt be surprised, apparently lying runs in their company. They are lying about their lowest price guarantee, they are lying when they say on their website, Bring in ANY Local Competitors total quote. IF WE CANT BEAT IT YOUR TIRES ARE FREE!! (They use the all caps and 2 exclamation points, thats not me taking liberties) And then if you ever do find a local competitor that beats their price and they cant beat it, they lie when you catch them. Now, full disclosure, after catching them not beating a local competitor they scrambled and Tommy offered to beat the price then. But it took me leaving a review and speaking with their district manager to even get to that point. The whole point of having a guarantee like that is to keep the company honest... but dont expect honesty.I should note that only a couple of years ago I bought 4 tires from them, so I was a happy customer before, I just hate it when a company tried to jerk me around.
They have great deals with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The atmosphere is awesome. By far the most relaxing tire shop In San Diego. There is a freaking koi pond.
Purchased 4 tires online only to arrive with not in stock, no email or ANYTHING.. Then I pick 4 tires in stock and waited 4 hours to mount and balance. Driving home Car shaking uncontrollably, Went back for rebalancing even worse.Got home took tires to local alignment Company to find out there Balancing machine is off. Had to pay rebalancing of $100
Had to get my brakes and rotors replaced and with the great help from Ray and the rest of the staff I got everything fixed for an awesome price! Was recommended to this place and would do the same to any of my friends that need mechanic work done. Thanks again for helping my car run great and for the great customer service because now I’ll definitely be back when I need something done with my vehicle!
These guys are great!! Best service by far!! Everyone here takes the time to make each individual feel that they are in the right place!! We have been with American Tire Depot for over a decade, and I send all my friends their way too!!
I had a brake job at the Ford dealer last year that I took back and they still couldn’t fix It, and I just suffered with it for a year. Finally took it here where we have gotten our tires for years. They fixed it quickly, completely and without issue.
A neighbor of mine had such a terrible experience here that she needed to vent for over 10 minutes about it. She doesn’t review places so I told her I’d post this review. It was mostly about mansplaining & not listening to her & therefore costing her more time & $$ to do it right the way she’d said she needed in the first place.For what it’s worth….
This place should get all your tire and alignment. Great local shop with great prices. This is my 2nd set of tires and alignment purchased from this shop. Ray is straight forward and gives you the best price he can, with excellent quick service. Agree with all the positive Yelp reviews.
I just wanted to take the time to thank the crew at American Tire Depot. Nothing but the best, when it comes to service and hospitality. They are my neighborhood shop and go above and beyond to make sure youre taken care of. Top of the line communication and service. They treat you fairly and dont just give you textbook corporate answers.....they treat you like a human being. In todays world...that says a lot. I cant thank them enough and 100% recommend them to anyone and everyone. Even if its not in your neighborhood....the extra time to get there is worth it. I’ve been a customer for 8 years and they are definitely the cheapest, have the best service, and are the quickest place in town! I even compared them to Coscto and their prices were much cheaper! I would refer them to anyone and will definitely remain a loyal customer to American Tire Depot!
85 doller alignment. They put it on the rack for 5 mins didnt do any work. Asked for the sheet and they struggled to come up with an excuse why it wasent correct. Got mad when they had to put it back on the rack to do the actual work...

2022-06-03I am so glad I found this place! My Jeep was in need for a 4-wheel alignment but the quote I received from the dealership was outrageous (about 3 times the fair market price). Besides the price being reasonable at American Tire Depot, I must say that the service was exceptional. The staff was very friendly, understanding and willing to help. I appreciate honest staff and customer service above all. They accept appointments as well as walk-ins which is awesome, and the service itself took roughly 1.5 hours on a weekday afternoon, which made sense to me.Overall great experience, this place will be my go-to going forward for any vehicle tires/wheels needs!

2022-02-27I came to American Tire Depot, near closing time, to get an alignment and tire rotation, with what I thought were still good tires. I was greeted immediately by Danny after I stepped out of my car. I explained what I wanted and I was told that they would take care of it. After removing the tires, Danny showed me that the inside of my tires were cracked. All but 1 tire was good. So Danny got me a great price on 3 new tires. Danny and every staff member that I came across were very polite and professional. The staff stood past closing time to get my vehicle finished. I will definitely recommend American Tire Depot to my family and friends.

2022-05-28Just had a 10/10 top notch experience here. Called to bring my car in on a Saturday last minute and these guys were able to get me fixed up same day within a few hours. Ill be going out of my way to come back to this place in the future. I spoke with Joey the whole time and the customer service was through the roof, you dont see people that friendly and helpful much these days so very refreshing. Definitely won my business and recommendations.

2022-04-30Ive driven by this shop hundreds of times in the last couple years and theyre always busy. So when our rear tire was completely flat, I gave them a call. They answered right away and let me know they had a wait of about 2.5 hours, but I could leave my car with them. When I arrived Joey helped me at the front desk within a couple of minutes, and I walked the couple blocks home. To my surprise, within an hour Joey called me and let me know my tire was fixed. I asked how much it would cost, and Joey said it was on them! Love their location and really impressed with the helpful team. Will definitely come back here!

2022-06-19If you have a problem with these guys you should go take a hard look in the mirror. At first I was a little hesitant to bring my Tesla Model X to this shop early in the morning.I quickly learned do not judge a shop by its appearance, the team here is one of the BEST teams I have ever dealt with at American tire. These guys took care of me first thing in the morning and got me back on the road so I didnt have to take a 95 mile tow back to Orange County.Terrific problem solving skills!Great shop, Great guys, I even offered to buy them lunch for there impeccable service in which they declined and said they were just happy to help me.

2022-03-20This place was very helpful in trying to fix my tire before resorting to having to buy a replacement. They took the time to explain to me what my options were and I never felt like I was being pressured. I was grateful for their respectful treatment because sometimes I do feel pressured or lied to because of my ignorance about fixing cars. I would recommend coming here. It is a busy place, and the parking is minimal, but that shouldnt stop you. They make up for it in their hospitable and respectful treatment toward their customers.

2022-04-20Avoid this place! I went online, reserved/ordered tires and made an appointment for 8am later in the week. I got a call at 7:50 in the morning before my appointment to alert me that the tires that I ordered were discontinued and there were no tires near that price range in stock.After changing my work schedule, this was a disappointment for sure. The employee that I spoke to offered no apology and no options within the same price range.I will head back to Discount Tire where I always have received great service.

2022-05-18These guys are the realest. They helped fix my dented rim within 15 minutes and they quoted a super reasonable rate. No mess, no fuss, just quality work. If Im ever in an emergency again, Im coming to these guys. Cheers to David and the mechanic with the chains. You guys killin it.

2022-07-07I made an online appointment for tire replacement, and confirmed the tire selection and price match for my appointment date 2 days prior. When I arrived for my appointment, there was no record of my appointment, they didnt have the tires I had selected, and there seemed to be confusion about their own online sales department. Also, I saw no employees who were wearing a mask, contrary to the information posted on their website. I hope this helps others in choosing service locations.
