The park is nice and very clean. There is no strange activity anywhere near the park. It is a very peaceful place to walk. I saw folks doing what appeared to be tai-chi. There was a small summer camp for kids happening. There is a pool, tennis courts, a small workout area, and a kids playground called the Enchanted Forest that is canopied by big trees. My only knock on this park, as in most parks in Alhambra is that the facilities, while clean, are dated. They byildi gs could defi Italy use a refresh - fresh paint, new exterior building materials, and better landscaping. The tennis courts need to be resurfaced with new netsband nicer fencing. In essence, these parks need that special touch that make them look that much more inviting. Thats why I rate this park a 4/5 stars
Very nice park! The equipment is well taken care of . It is clean and a lot of green space for playing. There is also lots of places to sit and have lunch. They have a little library as well. I didnt see any books in there when I went but that just means it is being used!
Gorgeous sprawling Green space, enough land area to just enjoy a low key weekend or evening, host outdoor events or even a family get together. Quieter on the weekdays and super busy on the weekends with lots of people and even food trucks. Has a dedicated fitness section with obstacles and pullup bars. Plenty of picnic and general seating space too
Love this park with lots of parking in or around the park. Large Baseball field, Kids play ground, padded Tracks walking running, beautiful pound with turtles ducks, BBQ n tables basketball.. All source of fun activities for all ages and likings.. Enjoy.Sharing is Loving.
I like this park. Natural, clean and good view. During summer, local people usually come here for small casual parties. However, the city needs to concern about the restroom, its not that clean and even looking a bit rural only for the restroom. In general, a good park.
This park holds some nice memories. I have been here many times throughout my life and its nice to revisit. Plus I live close by. I would recommend it. Its never packed, theres a nice playground for the kiddos, they have a tennis court, basketball court, a swimming pool (that Im not sure is open) a bike path, and there is a lot of room to relax and have fun. So thats my park rating and review.
Lovely family park , but there is always careless people with their dogs, assuring their well behave and end up attacking other peoples dogs on the leash, kids even elderly. The Sad Part the park staff don take action with their park regulations. They need to be cops , but they have authority to request, suggest people to follow their park rules and regulations. If they dont Cops come faster if they call.
Ive been here a lot since mid-2020 when it was relatively empty, and even now that its more crowded than I was used to, theres still a ton of open space. Its a decently well-shaded park, has bathrooms, lots of parking, covered and uncovered benches, and even a little amphitheater. Good stuff.
Were huge fans of this park. I used to go to this park 35 years ago, after a few short years we moved away but here i am, back at my childhood park with my spawn.Ive never had any problems here, the people have always been friendly and my daughter gets along with everyone. The park is well maintained and people seem to be respectful as far as cleaning up any trash they bring in.Unfortunately there are a handful of homeless people hanging around, aside from the unexpected outbursts, they dont bother me. Well... The foul language does but thats just life, nobodys perfect.
Just stopping by Alhambra Park to stroll around and visit the restroom. Dried off my Familys 99 Honda Accord LX 4 Dr Sedan. I usually keep it clean and maintenance it. So Alhambra Park, for the most part is kept clean, mowed, and attracts many kids on the Raymond side of the Park due to the playground apperatices.
Nice park located a few blocks behind Aldis/Target. Parking is horrendous when kids are off school or people going on their walks. Busy time keeps changing and the table and benches MUST be rented out to the citys parks and rec in advance. Multiple parties can be held here though I would not suggest it since it can get overcrowded and uncomfortable. This location has a playground, tennis or basketball court (I forgot which one), swimming pool (closed at the moment due to COVID), kids water zone (currently open though I dont know if they will keep it open cos of rising cases again), and a whole lot of grass to lay on.Sometimes the Alhambra Civic Center Librarys Bookmobile will visit this park for people to borrow books. If you dont have a library card with them, they can create one for you on the spot. Most of the books are for young children since the adults usually dont visit their tent.
Its our local park and we love it. Just started going again and theres more people then I thought there would be. My 3 year old had a meltdown when we wouldnt let her play on the childrens playground, she could obviously see other children with their parents playing on the equipment. Even though its closed. Also lots of people on the workout equipment. We got her to settle for a game of kick ball and tag in the grass.
Its a really nice, pretty, park that need some more parking spaces and the reservations should be easier to achieve... rules in the park should be posted around the park.had to redesign our birthday party decorations due to certain rules I WAS NOT notified about beforehand. When i had called and asked about the rules for the party..until a park personnel warned us we were going to be cited if we didnt take down the decorations & pinata and rent a stand for the pinata for an extra fee so alot of work to redecorate and a waste of time if i had known the party would have gone on time instead of family having to wait for food that should have already been on a grill...
Lovely family park...Although a lot of Irresponsible Dog Owners that 🤔 take their loving pets like is an open field Dog Park with out a Leash. Wish the park workers can implement the rules of the park by requesting the pet owners to be responsible in putting a leash on their loving pets.
No walking trail but you can kinda follow the cement path. They recently built an outdoor gym which looks nice but havent used it. Theres a pool. Tennis courts and large play area for kids which is nice. A plus is they have the doggy bags for dog owners to use. Hopefully the dog owners use it. Very spacious BBQ areas too.
Its a very well kept park. Sort of a narrow type park. Oddly shaped to me but a great place to take small kids (that was obvious) and an even greater place for walkers/power walkers/those types of fitness folks. Good parking available and you can choose to be quiet and to yourself, or, it seemed everyone was friendly with whomever was being friendly to them. 🙏😁👍
I absolutely love this park. The grass is very green its very big, the trees are very big which gives out really good amount of shade. Plus they have a free water park for the kids to play in, along with workout classes that pop up around the weekdays. They also have a section in the park specifically for barbecues and parties, which is a bonus.Ive been going to this park for about my whole life, and I always am fascinated to how green and well kept this park is. If youre around the area I would highly recommend you coming to this park if you want to relax or have a great time with family.
The kids play area has trees and open space to keep the park cooler than if it were directly under the sun like other playgrounds. Also like the hard rubber and cedar covering, better than getting sand all over the kids as they run around. There is a nice open area as well and the table areas generally seem clean. There is also a pool, which is public. Unsure specifics, hours and allocated times, since we have not used the pool yet.
This is a nice park to hold gatherings or just take the kids to play. It is in a decent neighborhood and there is plenty of parking. They also have a small water park, so the little ones can get wet during the summer. This is a good park for riding and there are food stores and shopping center right around the corner. Definitely, a park to go to, if in the area.
Just wow. This park seems to have it all. I had such a great experience going with my daughter. The playground is pretty awesome and it was donated by the L.a Dodgers, pretty awesome just on its own. Great place to hangout and relax. Party/picnic areas are great for partys, but of course you have to rent them. I was amazed at all the different things they have. They have a workout area, a pool, playground, a stage, and a spot for kids to get wet in. Give it an A++.
I grew up coming to the park to learn how to swim...still a terrible swimmer. But over the two decades I can see the park has aged like how the public pool needs to be remodeled same goes for the buildings. I do like the new additions like the small memorial, improving shade over picnic areas & keeping the trees clean from everyone’s party balloons. If you’re gonna bring balloons at least pop them and not litter them in the trees. Place is nice to relax and should always stay like that.
A quiet park with tons of activities including picnic tables, a water park, pool, open-area gym, playground, tennis and basketball courts. I particularly enjoy walking the perimeter for an afternoon stroll, and on these walks, I see that others enjoy nearly all the features the park has to offer.
The only reason Im leaving a single star due to the fact that there are so many homeless. They yell and cuss me and my kids out every time we walk by the benches to go to the park. And Ive witnessed them do this to just about everyone who goes to either the dog park or the playground. They really need to get rid of those people. But the park itself is wonderful and my kids love it.
I ordered 4 sandwiches to go for a picnic. Every one was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and suggested having the sandwiches cut into thirds to accommodate more people. Great beer and wine selection, too. Looking forward to coming back for the patio and pizza.
This is a beautiful hill filled park that has a basketball court tennis courts and a fitness center and pool and a mini water play area for little children. It also has a lot of picknick tables that are covered.last it has a nice plat area for kids with interesting equipment for then to play on. You can barbecue where ever you decide to sit and there a lot of shade to relax on the grass if you would like to have a picknick in the grass.
Its a great park for exercise, walking, tennis, basketball, swimming, parties. They have free use picnic benches all around the park. Some can be reserved for parties through the city hall in Alhambra. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the bathrooms dont always have soap. Fixtures need to be updated to non touch. They are usually dirty unfortunately. Otherwise great for your activities and go home!
Huge beautiful park. Has a great waterpark area for the kids. Pool area and lots a picnic shelters. We threw ours sons bday party here very relacing kids loved it. Theres an area that got built by the dodger foundation and my kids call it the dodger park very clean park.
Alhambra Park is big and well maintained. It has two tennis courts, jogging path trail, two basketball courts, picnic tables, mini theater, swimming pool, kids playground and bathroom amenities. Family friendly park. Parking is free. AP is my go to place for my workout.
This is a wonderful park, running track, play area for the kids, lots of space around for a picnic, tennis court, beautiful pond with frogs, ducks good place for a date, parking is plentiful during the week but in weekends can get hectic cause its really nice, this one of my fav parks, this a must, come check it out
Its a nice, big tranquil park. People like to walk around the park with there pets and hold workout classes. There is a pool, playground, basketball court and a tennis court. Lots of squirrels, some come right up to you if you offer food. Lots of big trees, so if your thinking about taking a kit or your droms beware. I seen a drom get cought in a tree.
Really nice park in the middle of the neighborhood..Well maintained an a nice area they put up for the veterans of war..i happened to b working in the area an was early an just happened to drive by an pulled over to use the restroom an hung out for a 1/2 hr will go back when Im in the area again...
This place is amazing in the summer their pool and little water park are open at the pool they have swimming lessons but you do have to pay to get into the pool the pool is very crowded the little water park is free and they do have a playground they have tennis courts and basketball courts they have public restroom kinda dirty they have free parking and they have table there that you can reserve to have a party there

2022-04-12A local park that has lots of convenient street parking! My dogs love this place.I would appreciate people pay more attention to pickickiny up their mess before leaving and not throw food waste on grass. There are many trash cans at the park.Yes there is someone hired to clean the park, but it is not 1 persons property. Public place requires public attention.😉

2021-09-06Ample park, very well kept grounds, very relaxing early in the mornings, ideal for whole family healthy enjoyment. So many different spots where to meet, although not that many seats (bring your own!). Several covered benches, almost always reserved ahead for different celebrations and meetings (so worthy!). Plenty of street parking.

This park was designed perfectly for Alhambra’s “Concerts and Movies in the Park” events!!!We attended the OC3 Classic Rock concert - What a fun night!!! Lots of residents came out to enjoy a beautiful Friday night, and many got up and danced the night away🎶🎤🎸👏🕺🏻💃Kudos to the City of Alhambra’s Park and Recreation department team members!!! 2022-02-26Park has alot to give. Clean and decent parking all around. Had some birthday parties there and a little water area for summer time. You do need to reserve a area and you need to clean up afterwards but a very nice and well kept park.
