I have enjoyed shopping at this small local grocery store, since the 60s. I like the easy access parking & getting in&out quickly. There have been changes of ownership the last few years & improvements. I am glad to say they have kept the employees & they are very friendly & helpful.
Mr. Goyo is the best butcher I ever met!! Good place to find real Latino foods too and the Mexican bread is good also. The cashiers are friendly the place itself has a nice throwback feel, Im glad there are a few places like this left. Very neighborhood orientated.
I go for the meat, produce, homemade salsa, and guacamole when in season!! The rest of the items in the store are pretty expensive compared to others. Their bolillo and sweet bread are pretty good too, but go really fast!

This was owned by Latinos before now under new management, but still a great place for great Latino products. Gods meats too.
Their produce is beautiful. They have a deli/meat market. But I cant say I love it. They cater mostly to the latino community. You wont find things like dill seed or ricotta. Youll pay double for things like cream cheese and honey. But their produce is nice.

This has been my local market since moving here as a kid back in the 1960s. Owners have changed over the years, I am happy they keep good quality of produce & butchers have the best meat at a good price.
Visible changes with new ownership. Although store looks cleaner, meat and produce appear to offer fewer choices. Where are the previous staff?

Awesome local Mexican meat market which has a good array of seasoned meats for dinner. Super delicious to grill up for an easy Mexican dinner.
Alhambra Market is my favorite place to get groceries and meat. They have low prices and have items that Walmart and target don’t even have. I love this store and the produce is great.
The people are friendly. They have good sales every Thursday. Fresh meat. Decent produce selection. Good for asian and hispanic foods selection.
Good place for marinated carne asada and chicken meats for bbq. They usually have on sale mesquite wood as well, especially during holiday weekend sales.
Spend your money there. Neighborhood business, fresh meat, fruit and vegetables. South American wines. Hot salsa and Mexican medicines that sometimes work better than the Walgreens/rightaid/CVS stuff.
Love it. Only place locally that not only KNEW what a ham hock is, but they had them at a great price!
It has gone hiill. We have been going there for several years. The quality of produce has declined and the pricing is a msterey. If they dont improve they will down the tubes.
Good place to get last minute groceries or items you forgot & have no time to go to the big convenience stores.... Highly recommend the marinated meats for your bbq or carne asada party !

A supermarket with a long history, Mexican background, not very large. Some fruits and vegetables are cheaper and parking is convenient. In addition, Chinese supermarkets are far away from here, so neighboring Chinese still like to patronize this supermarket.

2022-03-08A nice well stocked market with a full service Mexican meat counter and nice selection of produce. The market is on the small side but has a nice selection of products including a nice variety of Mexican sweet rolls, cookies and pastries. Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of parking.

2022-02-02I really don’t like to go there because there over priced and the owners are really rude. I go there to get sometimes to get a few things I for get at the other markets. I when in an I got myself a 3 pack Michelada models. An one of the cans had mole on it. I didn’t notice it until I got home. This wasn’t the first time. This the last time I’m go there!!! I gave this place so many changes. Yeah I’m done there for good now.

2022-04-30New owner is rude. Their is no hygiene in the meat counter. Owner does not give employees more than one pair of gloves for the day. Store is looking really bad. The vegetables and fruits are looking bad. There is no care

2022-06-21Working close by in So Pas and wanted a cold convenient Coke Cola 20 oz and something to go with it. Well let me give you all a heads up? The pan dulce not very fresh! The Coke Cola was fine. What got me was that I had my heart set on the combo. Usually dont give these kind of ratings but you know if I do its cause they need correcting. 2021-09-24This Latino market is REALLY amazing,, I found all I needed to make Pozole,, the meat is super fresh,, the chile Japones to make salsa is so new or the brand is so good,,, I havent found in another stores,,, I already tried to make the same salsa two times and not be able to get the same flavor/ texture ,,, I live in Pasadena,, cant go all the way to alhambra market every day 😁 I loved it....
