Tech was great and service was great. They called ahead of time to let me know tech was on his way. All great except I dislike the sales pitch at the end… definitely lose some credibility when seems like they are making stuff up to try to sell you. But I guess that’s the business
I never thought I could physically feel and notice the air quality in my house. I feel like I can breathe now and before I didnt realize how bad it was. The men who did the work was fantastic!!! Very quick and respectful. I has a house full of children and they worked around the chaos in my home. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who needs this service. Money well spent.
Been working with this company for two years now. I just cant recommend them. We purchased a train HVAC system to replace our 18 year old train HVAC. We went with the more expensive system that the sales guy recommended only to later find out from talking to a technician that it is actually less efficient then the cheaper system. We had to have a tech come out in the first month due to it not working and even though we were guaranteed it wouldnt happen or we would get put in a hotel or get some cash or something nothing happened. It needed refrigerate was the issue only to find out two years later there was a manufacturer issue with our condenser and it has a leak. So even though Ive had techs come out for issues over 6 times including there scheduled yearly tune up, none of there tech figured it out. Well cut to today two years later and Im with out AC in July with a two year old at home and they cant come up with any short term fixes other than wait on the manufacturer for a month for a part. No offering portable ac unit, no care just says sorry. There are other companies out there that I would recommend over them. Check out good guys heating and air. I had a hot water heater installed by them and they seem to be better.
I bought a system from this company under its old ownership. It has been a nightmare for years with needed repairs. But the new owner is in town and he means business! The field supervisor, Chris, came out today and in consultation with the new owner, they took care of this system like it should have been a long time ago. I so appreciate the new ownership and can now highly recommend this company! They are responsive and responsible and will have my future business!
I had a full BRAND new A/C and heater system put in by Caleb and Adam. Both of they were extremely professional and got the HUGE job done in a timely manner. Communication was absolutely amazing. You don’t find that very often anymore. Definitely will refer friends and family to Air Tech. Thank you Caleb and Adam! I wish I could give 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
You can trust AirTech. Im not sure where they find the good people, or how they keep them, but they operate in that sweet spot, where excellent service and reasonable prices so rarely intersect. The technicians know their stuff and make recommendations without a hard sell. I have been with them since I moved from out of the area and Im sold on their 2x/year maintenance program.
It is 102 outside right now and it is 75 in my home. Three months ago Dan came to my home to give me an estimate on my HVAC. He was the third company that I had called. His knowledge of the different systems, what would work best for my home, the rebates that were available and their ability to relocate my compressor at no additional cost all weighed into my decision to use Air Tech. He recommended switching to a heat pump system. I was concerned about how it would stack up to a conventional unit and so far it has exceeded my expectations. Since the install we had a couple days in May that dropped below 40, so the unit has been tested at both ends of temperature spectrum and has performed excellently. I received rebates of $3600 for converting to the heat pump and $200 for the thermostat from the city of Roseville on top of the competitive price from Air Tech. Before they started Kris came out for a pre-inspection to confirm that the relocation and the attic access were going to work. And a week after that Dustin and Dylan came out for the 2 day install. They did a great job and were very considerate of us while we worked from home. After that Rachael in the office got me all dialed in with my rebates. I had a small adjustment that needed to be made after the install and when I called they sent Kris over the same day for the quick fix.I waited to evaluate everything before leaving this review. The system works outstanding, I have received my rebates and I couldnt be more happy with the hard work and excellent service that I have received from all involed from start to finish.I would definitely recommend Air Tech.Thank you.
This company and tech are without a doubt the best in this area.Calls are answered by live CA staff. I left a message on a Sunday, and had a live local callback the same day.The tech, Ronnie, was on time, polite, patient, prifessional, and He TOOK THE TIME TO EDUCATE me about the seasonal needs of my system so I can get the most out my units.Ok, the Jingle is pretty memorable as well.
I had this company install a new furnace ( the FAU portion of my split unit HVAC system) last year (2020). Unbeknownst to me, their installers zip tied my main air supply ducting instead of taping it which caused the air ducting to collapse and the insulation clogged the main air line which caused my air conditioning condenser to explode. I made an appointment with them to fix my air conditioning system through my home warranty program (they are an approved vendor) - they said it would take over 10 days before they could get out and take a look. Because it would be so long before they could out and we were experiencing extreme heat conditions I called another company who was able to come out that day and install a temporary air conditioning system for me. The other company installed the temporary system which worked fine for 2 days and then quit working. I called that company who then came back out, took a look and ended up going up into the attic to find the main problem which was the installation of the FAU last year. I called to explain the situation to Air Tech and left a message with their answering system even though it states theyre open theyre 24 hours. The answering system said they would have a call a technician call me the next day. After not receiving a call, I called late in the afternoon to find out what was going on. They were extremely rude and unhelpful. They said they couldnt come out and take a look for over a week leaving me, my 6 months old granddaughter, and 85 year old mother with no air conditioning during over 100 degree temperature days. They said it wasnt their problem and tried to blame the company that installed the new temporary air conditioning system. This company, mind you, did not install my first air conditioner that the condenser blew up on only the second one. Needless, to say I would never use this company if it wasnt necessary to use them in order to go through my home warranty program. Super disappointed in their customer service!!!!
Great service, very communicative in regards to arrival time, helpful with educating me on the service being provided and any future service being recommended. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who perhaps isn’t super knowledgeable about HVAC; they are very patient in explaining processes and repairs and helpful in making the customer feel educated about any decisions that have to be made. I was happy from start to finish with the work Air Tech Pros did all exceptthe removal of the debris from the front of my house, which included theair conditioner and heating unit , sheet metal, ducting, wiring, cardboardboxes and another air conditioner from another job which was Friday.All this junk was siting in the street from Friday to Monday morning. I spoke with Air Pro on Monday AM and they hire a third party to remove the left over materials. I have a couple minor things that they said they would take care as of Wednesday to correct them.. Good company, friendly and professional

I was the go between for a friend and the company This company was on this job very quickly. They made the appt. Called to confirm the day before and then called this morning telling me they were so many minutes away. Alex was on time and very friendly and responsive to my questions. Let me just say the proof of a company is how they handle the unexpected. Air Tech came through at all points. In the end they replaced a 28 year old heating and A/C unit they made it affordable and as an unexpected problem arose, they resolved it quickly and to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend Air Tech without reservation. Thank you all for your excellent work.
Air Tech Pros Technician, Mike, deserves special recognition for excellent, caring, professional, knowledgeable and efficient customer service for the two HVAC units at my home. He obviously is very experienced based upon the detailed explanation of his findings. He did not try to alarm me as he proceeded with his inspections. Instead, he was down to earth and honest when explaining what problems were important and needed attention. Of special note is that while working in my attic, he notified me that he came upon two dead rats, and even offered to remove them for me. Since they were my rats, I stepped in, but was impressed at how he handled that event. Also of note is that he asked if he could use my water hose to clean the outside units. When finished, he rolled the hose up and turned the faucet off. Just another example of above and beyond normal service that deserves recognition. i certainly thank Air Tech Pros for hiring technicians like Mike. Terrific experience! Our unit is located on a steep roof and Jason scrambled up the roof like Spider-Man! . He quickly accessed the problem and was able to fix it for now and recommended what to do to keep our 20 year old unit running until we could have it replaced in the future. The whole experience was positive and friendly. There are a lot of choices in heating and air repair - I feel like I got the best choice with Air Tech Pro!
He replaced the broken thermostat and showed me how to replace the air filter. Very knowledgeable, professional and funny.He was sent to do an upgrade to my water heater system. He is very knowledgeable and efficient he was was able to determine the needed materials and was done very fast. Very reliable person.
Jason is very professional and knowledgeable about the service performed. Although he arrived closer to 5pm, it was still during the window of time promised. Jason worked quickly and efficiently to clean my system. Also, he showed me some improvements that I can make to my HVAC run more efficiently, such as a surge protector. I am very pleased with his friendly and fast service.Additionally, Air Tech will be coming back and giving me an estimate on much needed ductwork, so I am anticipating continued professional service with this company.
Air Tech installed our current AC system two years ago when our previous system died. At the time, they did a terrific job and exceeded our expectations.Recently, they contacted us regarding scheduling a free annual maintenance visit and performed the service this morning. Much like the original installation, the service provided was outstanding! Eric was the tech assigned to us and he did not disappoint. He was on-time, professional, and thoroughly explained what he was doing while providing great recommendations to extend the life of our system.I should also mention that last year, Air Tech also replaced our water heater and our experience was the same. We highly recommend them!
Jason came out for ac and furnace tuneup for my two properties on the same day. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We started using Air Tech a few years ago for checkup and maintenance on our furnace-A/C. Our system is older, and has been having problems. Air Techs field technicians are knowledgeable and friendly. Brian, the tech who checked the system the last two times, gave us updates (supported by photographs) of its deterioration, and made necessary repairs to keep the system running a little longer. On his recent visit, he showed us damage that cannot be ignored. We are having Air Tech replace the system based on the very satisfactory service we received from Brian and the rest of the Air Tech staff who have helped us.This is a follow-up to my previous post. Air Tech installed the new furnace about eighteen months ago. They did the job promptly and professionally. Today a technician, Jeramie, was out to do a checkup on the system under our club membership. He reported the system is fine, answered my questions, and discussed some work that will need to be done to our A/C before deep summer. Im still fully satisfied with the professionalism and competence of the Air Tech team.Another system checkup. Satisfied in every respect.Following our system checkup by William we requested a system cleaning. William was on time and performed the job efficiently. We continue to be satisfied AirTech customers.
Jason was very nice and got right to work. He explained everything well and we had heat in no time! Also he was so kind and understanding about our puppy who was extremely interested in him and what he was doing, its nice to have a dog person when inviting someone into your home.
Employees at Air Tech are so easy to work with. From their receptionist to technicians, people I’ve encountered with are very polite, respectful and courteous. Today, Mike came to tune up my AC. He has serviced my AC and furnace the last few times as well. In each visit, he clearly explained condition of the AC or furnace. Today, he gave me details of the maintenance he performed after he was done. I appreciate Mike’s patience addressing all my questions and I felt he listened to me intently, plus he’s funny! Air Tech has consistently provided me with great service. I dont feel Im getting ripped off or pressured. Thank you so much!
Mike was fantastic, professional and very knowledgeable. He made a thorough inspection and took his time too ensure everything was working properly. I HAVE TWO YEARS SERVICE MAINTENANCE with Sir Tech.before the two years service maintenance I used their services.I highly recommend them as they are professional and havevery experienced technician. After taking the time to meet with 4 different hvac companies I chose this one. Why? Because they did not try to automatically sell me a whole new system. They wanted to fix what I had and go on from there. And you know what? I have a great working ac system again. The honesty of the employees literally saved me $5k; plus they were able to come and install the new part 3 days after they came to see what I had. It was a breath of fresh air to work with this company.
This company is so unorganized, I am surprised they are still in business. I am so disappointed with the service that was provided. I purchased my house earlier this year and my AC went out this Summer. I went with AirTech for the replacement/repair. The AC costed a total of 18 grand. I went with their third party financing GoodLeap for funding. I was approved for 20 grand. As they were replacing my HVAC they noticed my water heater was leaking. They TOLD ME they could add it to my existing loan. I agreed and a contract was written up (which I still have). Two months later I get an email from Lizabeth the accounting manager. I was shocked because I thought everything was taking care of so I give her a call. She informed me that the water heater was not added and could not be added. She later informed me that I was their first client for this new lending company (I dont see how this is my problem). I am baffled how this company can wait TWO MONTHS to inform me and all they can say is sorry. Their resolution was for them to run my credit again and to establish ANOTHER loan. I have spent so much money with AirTech and trusted them with my first home. I will never refer them to anyone and I hope whoever is reading this goes to another trusted and organized company.
I had an extremely positive experience with Air Tech HVAC Inc., El Dorado Hills, CA.From start to finish everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable, professional and conscientious. I cant say enough about Darwin & Moses, the install technicians. They new exactly what they were doing and worked with purpose until the job was completed. They were quite a team. But what I appreciated most was how conscientious and respectful they were of my property both inside and out to protect everything from any damage which was very much appreciated.I without hesitation highly recommend this company.
Jason came today to do our 6 month maintenance check. He was very professional, great communication from AirTech on when he would arrive, and when he left his last customer. He informed us of the operation of the HVAC, and possible additions to make the house more allergy free. We appreciated the information. Jason is a great representative for AirTech!

Their technicians seem to be well trained in HVAC repair and service. Every time they have been to my home to repair or service my HVAC systems they have done a good job. The thing I’m not real keen about is that they are also trained in Sales. Every time they try to sell service contracts or duct work or new parts. In my opinion their prices are very high but their work is good.
Mike helped us check the furnace up in the attic and recommended an air purifier due to our allergy issues. He was very professional and thorough. We are very happy and can’t wait to see the results of the air purifier to improve our overall health. We signed up for their 2 year RSA immediately. Will definitely recommend to friends about their excellent service!
This company is excellent. Their customer service is one in a million, from their first contact to quote a job, continuing with scheduling and installation. This is the second install this company has performed for us. They previously installed an HVAC unit at a rental I owned in 2019 and we were so impressed with their workmanship then that I urged my mom to consider them for her install. She was equally impressed. If you want quality workmanship and excellent customer service, you need to choose AirTech.
AirTech is awesome! After having an old unit serviced by AirTech, we decided to buy a completely new system. It’s now been 2 years and the system is still running like the day it was installed. We just had our 2 year service today, and Kris from AirTech came out. He was very professional and courteous. He took the time to explain everything he went through in a way that was easy for us to understand. We appreciate AirTech and the overall way they operate. From calling the main line, to installers and service technicians, I have had only positive interactions with their staff. We even extended our warranty today to add another 2 years of service from them! Thanks AirTech 😊Another great service from AirTech on 1/18/2021. Dustin did a good job, but he failed to tell me to register the system, he forgot to completely seal the the heating system in the closet. He wore a mask when inside and booties also. He cleaned up his work area when he left. I did not like the way they tried to up sale me for different filters. We went with someone else to do the duct work under the house.
Alex arrived promptly when scheduled and diagnosed the issue with our A/C quickly. He was courteous and professional at all times during the visit. He answered all of our questions and arranged for the replacement part and subsequent call to fix the problem. Very satisfied!
The worst customer service. I dont ever recall dealing with a company that is so irresponsible with their communication with a customer. I called several times trying to get status on the air conditioning repair (live in an area that is 100 degrees constantly in the summer). It has been over 6 weeks since I requested the repair service from my home warranty company. There was a 10 day wait because they were so busy which I understand, even though it is really hot. They went to my house finally and it turned out they ordered the wrong part. I thought, OK no problem maybe they should have the part ready the next day maybe 2 days. Nope! I didnt receive any calls from anyone. After 3 days I called them consistently and was told to contact Maureen who is the person that deals with home warranty cases. I called her and left various messages and didnt receive a call back until 3 weeks later and that only happened because I called everyday and asked for a manager. I felt that finally someone listened to me when Maureen called me. She said they found the part and that it would be shipped soon and that my appointment would go to the top of the list. Well its been 1 week since that happened and i have not heard from her. well what a surprise, i call her and she does not answer the phone and she does not return my phone calls. I am not rude when i leave messages. So I just want everyone to know that this Company is horrible and if you can avoid it you should.
Jason was great: professional, explained everything thoroughly, allowed me to talk without interrupting, and was able to intelligently troubleshoot the issue. He was at our house for maybe an hour and a half but he wasnt intrusive on our evening and was as efficient as possible. Im bummed he wasnt able to fix our no air conditioning problem today but thrilled that he at least had the diagnosis.
I paid $49 for an HVAC evaluation which I never received. Instead, I received a pressure-sales pitch for a long term maintenance plan. The technician Mike also gave me a few suggestions on system upgrades to address a cold bathroom, only to find out later that he had also found a disconnected duct in the attic (which is the obvious cause of the cold bathroom, but he did nothing about it while he was up there - not even a quick tape job). When Mike realized that I was not likely to purchase the expensive monthly maintenance plan he was selling, he quickly left and never sent me the evaluation report that was promised and paid for. The company has not since responded to my messages requesting the report, and it looks like I will now need to file a dispute with my credit card company to reverse the $49 charge. As an ex-building code official and general contractor, I do not recommend this company to anyone.
If there were 10 stars I would have granted it. Mike was not only on time but spent time to walk me through what options I had and did not try to upsell me. He could have worked to sell me a new unit like so many other companies but he located the issues and gave me realistic diagnostic and promptly fixed it. His professionalism was great and the price was fair. I will be using them as an ongoing basis.
I had a broken ac system right at the start of summer. They got someone out here literally weeks before anyone else could. The repairman that came out, Mike, was prompt, knowledgeable, and able to explain everything. My AC was back up and running before the first real heat came. Would highly recommend!
They replaced the water heater. Both technicians were extremely friendly, on time, professional, experts, and put a lot of pride in their work. Rarely we find these type of technicians put such efforts in their work as they did. They are both a tremendous asset to the company. I am very happy to give the highest recommendation to AirTech. I don’t think anyone really sees the need to replace their heating/air unit as a fun experience but at least Darwin and Roy made it a pleasant experience. For the last 13 years my living room has always been cold in the winter and hot in the summer where the rest of the house was the opposite. Now with the new unit and the properly installed venting, everywhere is balanced and very comfortable. These two wonderful gentlemen managed to completely replace the unit and all the ducting both inside and outside of my house without disturbing any of my landscaping nor did they leave a mess any where. It honestly looks like no one has been there. During the installation I also got a call from their office each day -Kelsey- asking how things were going and if there were any problems. Service like this is hard to find. In addition to their great service on the job their prices are good also. They are neither the cheapest and certainly not the most expensive but they guarantee their systems for 10 years and that also is rare for the industry. In our mountain communities sometimes it is very hard to find reliable people to do repairs I feel extremely lucky to have found AirTech. They are truly outstanding.
Scheduling was a bit finicky with last minute cancellations, and inaccurate schedule notifications. Fortunately, I am in a very time-flexible position, so this did not affect me.As someone who does not know the ins and outs of HVAC very well, I am happy with the hassle-free service and advice I was given after the maintenance was completed.
Jason was super professional! Its great to see such courteous behavior, in jobs that can be so tough.Positive attitudes are necessary for any job, and he has a great attitude, even when cleaning a dirty air filter. I promise theyll be better next time. LolThank you Jason!!! :)
I have had to follow up with the scheduling team multiple times to get a technician out for our project. Once our first tech arrived, he looked at our project and said he needed to run to Home Depot for supplies. He came back and began work but advised he was waiting for a partner to arrive to do his portion. 5 hours later, he left for the day with half the job done because the partner never showed and a hole was left on the side of my house. I had to call repeatedly the next day to get a new time for someone to come back out to patch the hole and finish the job. Two days later, a different tech arrived and said he was only told to do one portion of the job. He didnt finish that portion and advised he would be reaching out the next day. He never did. I got tired of calling and let this go to see how long it took for them to call me back. TWO WEEKS LATER....I received a bill. I called and advised that the project was not complete. It took 2 days for the scheduling dept to call me back again. Today, I sat through my two hour service window without a peep. I called the office. My tech is out sick and no one told me. Now I am waiting to see if the substitute who is on their way shows up and can finally finish this job. This project was something my project manager advised should take an hour or two and has turned into a 6 week fiasco that I have had to manage FOR this company. Highly unorganized and not detailed about follow up and communication AT ALL. Would not reccommend.
They failed to show up during their appointment window 2 different times. The first time the tech called me 3 hrs AFTER the appt to let me know he was 40 mins away. I asked to be rescheduled since I had just left my house. Nobody called back for weeks. Finally get another appt and they just dont show up at all. I called was told they canceled my appt and forgot to call. A guy finally showed up and gave me a quote for what should fix the problem but it was a big number and I would rather take that chance with a company that actually cares enough to communicate with potential customers.
Darwin is a bloody legend! He installed a new Rheem system, both the exterior unit and the inside guts. The inside work was a tight fit that took some creativity to get done, with only 2 of clearance around the new furnace for wiring and piping. He did an excellent job in a complex situation and came through with detailed explanations of all steps and why they were necessary. Great work!
All of the people we dealt with at Air Tech were very professional and knowledgeable. Kris originally fixed our heater when we had issues several weeks ago. His skills and professionalism led to us getting a bid from Dan at Air Tech to replace the entire HVAC system. Dan was very thorough in accessing our needs and provided a cost effective solution. Then Darwin and Roy did an excellent job removing the old system and installing the new system. They were courteous, knowledgeable, skilled and quick and they wore masks! We were very impressed and we are glad we selected Air Tech for our new system.

The crew and staff at AirTech are excellent at keeping you informed leading into the job, through the job and after install follow up inspections. I always knew what they were doing, when they would be there. the office staff checks in twice a day with the customer during install to be sure there are no issues. I had a follow up call after the install from the owner. I had a couple questions and he was incredibly informative.
I have been doing business with Air Tech for all my air conditioning and heating needs for some time now. I have been very happy with all the employees and now especially with the safe and responsible way my new duct system was installed. To look at the house afterwards you would never believe that the work was done. Very happy as usual.But the attic fan was not plugged back in so I have been calling every Monday morning to the office to have a tech come out. It has been 3 months and today a tech David came out and it took less than 5 minutes to plug it into the correct outlet.Not so happy with them right now. Should never have to have the customer call every week with no response. 😡😡😡
I cannot give enough praise to this company. From the first person to come out just to confirm the issue to the sales to the installation. We never once had to wait on a call back. Never once felt pressured into buying things we didn’t need. Honest employees. Awesome experience. They were always on time and did a thorough job. We’d recommend this company to anyone.
Our service Technician was Mike. We are having an issue with our AC and home warranty company connected with AirTech Heating and Air. Mike was very professional, listened intently to our concerns and problems. Took his time to check out the entire unit, explained things to us, and told us what to expect next. Unfortunately, he was unable to repair our unit until approval from our warranty plan, plus it is a part that needs to be ordered. So it is no fault on his part that we are still without AC. He apologized for not being able to do more today, know we are heading back into triple digits this weekend. Overall, we are very pleased with the service that was provided, and looking forward to another visit hopefully early next week to get us cooling again.
Our techs Mark and Roy are absolutely professional and knowledgeable. I appreciate and see the hard work they put in to get our new unit installed, tuned and running. They were very informative and very thorough during the process and after to finalize all the details. I recommend them 👌 👍 👏.
Just had the heating and air replaced in Aug by Air Tech. 1st time using the heat and noticed something that didnt look right so I call Air Tech out and they sent Mike R out the first thing the next morning. Mike assured me all was good. Very polite and professional. Thank you Mike!
Jeramie called about 15 minutes before arriving. He was to be at my place between 12 and 3. He arrived at 12:25. He saw me wrestling with my garden hose and offered to coil it for me. That was a huge help. Then he explained the service he was going to do. During the work he stopped to give me status updates and explain what he did and found. After he was finished we went over what he found. He suggested I have a free consultation with one of their energy advisers. He helped me set up the appointment. He was very careful to wear the overshoe booties to protect my floors. I had a very pleasant experience with AirTech. I highly recommend them.

No follow through. Air Tech told me I could received a refund for replacement parts installed within the last six months if I had to replaced the old HVAC units with new units. I accepted, and then Air Tech installed two new HVAC units at my duplex. Afterwards, I called several times to inquire about the refund as I had not received it. Also, I had to call again because the permit with the County had not been processed. After several calls, I had to take it upon myself to get ahold of the County and schedule an appointment for a final inspection. Great sales pitch upfront, but no follow through.

My AC stopped blowing cold air so I called few local guys with no Luck & then I googled ac repair & they were at top of my list of 3 to contact so I called & talked to a mr.Daniel who I told I need a same day appt.please and explained my story. Next thing I know he says ok I got a guy i can send out between 2-5 today!!!!! Omy yes please!I even got a text updated from Air Tech Pros with a picture id of who was coming.It was Mike!He even called to let me know he was on his way.& he was on time. He was polite. This was a top notch inspection of my entire system. Before David left, he provided me with a detailed report of his findings. I am so impressed with Air Tech -- from the initial visit by Mike, then another one with Mike and Chris, removal of old (and dangerous) furnace, installation of new and more efficient furnace plus ductwork by Kyle, Moses and Zach. Theyll return in a couple of weeks to run ductwork to the 2nd story so it will have heat for the first time. Wow, these guys. And everything was beautifully coordinated by Kelsey in the office.My house is about 50 years old and built by monkeys (sorry, thats a disservice to monkeys). Ive been upgrading it for the 10 yrs Ive owned it and since the old furnace worked, I didnt worry about it... until I thought I should have it inspected. As it turns out, it was illegally installed 25 years ago and had cracks in the burners. Not safe at all.Im grateful to Air Tech for their professionalism, quality service, communication (which several of the people said was a keystone of their business), and HEAT! So nice. I highly recommend them!
My tech Jeremie was very professional and was able to give me insight on the furnace.He diagnosed the problem right away and was able to order the part to repair in the near future. Meanwhile he was able to get my furnace running and I was very grateful!Hes very friendly and I felt very comfortable having him in my home.
Just waited 2 weeks for a tune-up appointment. Had a confusing call 2 days prior to service, they had wrong day. Got that resolved but now at the scheduled time of service they cancel due to other emergencies. Fine, that’s your priority, but I’ll take my business elsewhere.

This is a first for me—leaving a negative review. But I am at a loss and feel it worth it so others do not have almost two months of their lives wasted waiting on heat.I have a home warranty, and for very good reason. Many of my home systems are nearing the end of their working lives. I am a single parent and am on a tight budget, so it’s very important that I cover all of my bases. When I called in my heater issue (the pilot was not igniting the furnace), I was connected with Air Tech. They scheduled a visit for one week out, which I thought odd considering it’s winter and most people would like a prompt response to get heat going as soon as possible. Fast forward to that day and the contractor had a family emergency and would have to reschedule. I was again put off for another week. When a contractor finally came out, he was kind, but also very much like a used car salesman. I was quickly thrown into a sales pitch for their service plan, as home warranty companies “tend to look more highly on homeowners with service plans...”. I let him know I was prepared to pay the $75 service call fee, but was not about to throw down $180 for a service plan—right before Christmas. He talked about this repeatedly, and I was as polite in my declining as possible. But it was not a comfortable situation. He did spend a good amount of time diagnosing the issue, and seemed to drag his feet a bit regarding what should be done. I was told multiple times that it was going to cost quite a bit due to codes needing to be addressed, and that I’d likely get less than acceptable repairs due to my use of the home warranty company. What an odd statement...It then took another few weeks (!) to get the next guy out to take measurements for a new system as the parts the first guy suggested are now obsolete. The second guy was another hard sale walking through the door. Not only did he suggest i’d get things done more quickly if I ditched my home warranty and went with them directly (for thousands more dollars!!), but also that he’d spoken to his boss and could get me “special financing”!!! Really?!?! Asking me to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket rather than the $75 service fee I pay BECAUSE I have the forethought to have a yearly home warranty plan? That makes ZERO sense. His biggest selling point? He could get it done sooner. I wouldn’t have to “wait for authorizations” from my home warranty company.Here’s the kicker: My home warranty company contacted me multiple times between visits and calls to make sure Air Tech was following up. They were concerned at the hard selling and were very apologetic to me for the many inconveniences I’d experienced with Air Tech. They were not understanding the multiple hold ups in the process that were THE FAULT OF Air Tech.We tried to give Air Tech an opportunity to complete this service. But, after being cancelled, rescheduled, un-cancelled, then cancelled again this morning, I am finished with this company. Moving on to a more ethical contractor. Ugh...thank you for keeping my three kids and I “in the cold” for almost two months Air Tech.
I contacted AirTech in response to a mailer offering a system check up for good price and scheduled an appointment.We recently purchased our home in Placerville knowing full well that the HVAC system is 30 years old; inefficient and tired.Mike arrived on schedule and was ready with mask, gloves, booties...yes, this was during shelter in place rules.Mike went about his inspection efficiently, pausing several times to answer my questions and explain what he was finding.At completion he summarized his findings and we discussed options. I have followed up with AirTech regarding a new system.Mike is knowledgeable, personable; a great introduction to the company!
Darwin, Zach and the team were on time, courteous and professional. System was installed in one day, which included removal of the old HVAC system. They have a recycle truck show up at the right time to dispose of the old system. Unlike Capital Air, these guys actually showed up to do the site survey and quote. Capital kept me waiting for 2 hours and still never called to cancel, explain or apologize.
Buyer beware. This company charges twice what other companies charge. I had five companies bid to replace all my ducts and they were $10,000-$15,000 higher than all the other bids. They also had to fix my AC and quoted me an astronomical price to replace the coil that was covered by a warranty. Make sure you get other quotes before using them.
Ronnie did a great job of quickly diagnosing the problem and relating information to me that I could easily understand. Replaced my 30 year old furnace ducts. Air Tech was very thorough and did an excellent job. First good thing was a responsive and pleasant office person, Sarah who arranged for the inspection and schedule. The senior tech was very knowledgeable and the install crew was hard working, courteous and cleaned up when finished. Very pleased with Air Techs service and definitely recommend them.
Our 27-year old heat pump died at the start of a heat wave. I searched the web for reputable HVAC installers in El Dorado County. Believe it or not, I read all 56 reviews to learn what customers thought of their experience. with Air Tech In researching heat pumps, most authors on the web stressed the importance of a quality installation as many of the unit manufacturers on the market produce reliable units for sale in the high end, middle range, and budget sectors. Air Tech consistently was praised for their quality installations. We left an emergency email on their website and they called us the next morning. Their salesman came by that afternoon and did an assessment of the existing system, confirmed that the compressor had died, and evaluated our needs. He came by our house the next evening to present our options to us. He was professional, patient, and informative without being pushy or up-selling. The installation crew was scheduled for Monday morning and showed up right on time. The old unit was hauled away and the new unit installed and operational in 2-days flat. All work was professionally finished and the lead installer walked us through the whole system including initializing the Nest smart controller before they left. I highly recommend Air Tech HVAC to anyone in western El Dorado County considering installation of a new HVAC unit.
They price match/beat, saved me $500 on a $2000 job. Their communication is frequent and professional, and were very understanding of the rush need to get heat running for my tenant (they expedited the parts which saved 5 business days!). Just didn’t like that they wouldn’t schedule the work until the parts came in, which ended up costing 2 more days. Will definitely use again!
$69 furnace tune up. Good value if it’s important for you to know what parts of your home furnace are on their way out and some warning signs. Air Tech has a membership for $180 but after reading the brochure, it’s not a good value for what’s included in the $180. At the end of the day, you have to pay for parts and service if something goes wrong. The future discount offered through buying this membership is absolutely insignificant.
I can not say ENOUGH good things about Louis! Not only is he professional, knowledgeable, and hard working...he also stopped to help me change my spare tire, I was stranded on the side of the road! I can not thank him enough for that! I am happy to see this company has such amazing people working for them! Will definitely be using them going forward!

Air Tech recently did an amazing job with a whole home service inspection I wanted to get done before it gets hot. They scheduled the inspection appointment quickly, were on time when they arrived, and the technicians were very polite and courteous, and the cost was minimal. The technicians pointed out a few areas that could be improved and didnt require service. To save a few bucks I asked for suggestions and it was easy enough for a homeowner to handle. With a clean bill of service and ways to improve the systems efficiency, its great to know I can trust these guys. Ryan Holquin an Roy Lee we’re here for three days fixing some unusual problems with my installation. They were professional, neat, and informative letting me know what was going on each step of the way. Very knowledgeable and hard working. They made sure they cleaned up after completing the job even though we told them not to bother. Ryan found some stashed $$ and promptly handed it over. He could have easily have pocketed it, since we had forgotten about it.
Drew came to our house and was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and thorough about everything we needed to know. We had another company come out and put our filter in the completely wrong spot. We have been very pleased with Air Tech since we had our HVAC system installed last spring. They returned within 2 days after the City inspector found a minor problem with the installation and solved the problem. AT has come back 2x to check the system and found no problems. Great customer service. AC went out on a over 100 degree days. Being that my wife was pregnant at the time there was no way we could go a long time without AC. I called at around 5pm and they were there promptly at 9am the next day. Butch was phenomenal. He explained what was needed to fix the unit and gave me multiple options. Very satisfied with there service will probably be back to order a whole new AC unit.
I asked for a quote for a new HVAC system & a solar install… someone came & looked at my old system & ducts & gave me the sales pitch, but apparently my money wasn’t the right color for them, because no one ever got back to me with a quote, even though I reached out to them asking for it again.

I have been an Air Tech customer for close to 8 years. Very happy customer up until now.I had Air Tech do a HVAC tuneup at my rental in Woodland. The tenant had said that airflow in the bathroom was extremely poor. The tuneup was completed and the repairman said that the compressor in the attic needed to be replaced. So I spent almost $1,000 to get that replaced. The tenant reported that the airflow was the same.So, I have called Air Tech over a dozen times asking to get this resolved. I have been promised several times that Bill, the VP, would contact me. He called me once, left a message and has done nothing since then. I have called back 3 times asking him to call me.So my advise is to NOT pay until you make sure the work is done. Very unhappy that I have been ignored for almost 2 months.

This will be a mixed review.( This was a call on a rental I own, in which I live 3 hours away). Although, the company and technician were quick, friendly and responsive to my initial call and SECOND call, I had to make after what was initially fixed failed, within about two weeks. So in RESPONSE TIME ID RATE 5 STARS. PERFORMANCE AND COST...A 1.The first time out they charged me nearly 700.00 and they OVERCHARGED ME WHAT QUOTED , BUT THEY DID later CREDIT ME when I called them on it. But BECAUSE I NEVER RECEIVED AN INVOICE for the FIRST VISIT and for the SECOND VISIT--( 2nd visit cost me just shy of $900! ) I never specifically knew or understood the breakdown of what was fixed. I CALLED SEVERAL times, over a month, requesting a mailing of invoice so I could review what was exactly done. Im now left feeling that had the first job been done the way it should of I wouldnt of needed the second call, therefore I would of paid half. Hopefully, when I get back home both invoices will have been delivered this last week!
Drew did a very comprehensive inspection of our home heating system. He then explained in detail (and answered all my questions). He is very competent and knows how to keep our heating system operating efficiently. I look forward to his evaluation and any repairs that will be necessary to keep our home AC and Heating in tip-top shape.
We recently had a new AC/Heat system installed at my elderly mothers home. Everyone we dealt with from AirTech was a treat from start to finish. These people were courteous, informed, professional, quick and efficient in their various job functions: Butch, Michael S, Darwin, Mike... all great! They even installed a portable AC unit in my moms bedroom for her comfort overnight and finished all the work the next day! I can’t say enough good things about this company. Do not hesitate to call them!

Right in the middle of a heat wave, on the hottest day of the year, our ac decided that it had enough of the heat and stopped working, so called sT morning expecting them to say they were all booked up, and wouldnt be able to come for at least a couple of days. When thry told me they would be over in a couple of hours i was thrilled.When the tech Jeramie showed up, he was actually there at the beginning of the window. He was courteous and was will to answer any if the questions that i had. He diagnosed my problem and had the ac back uo and spitting out cold air within the hour. I will be for sure using airtech again if/when we have any hvac issue.Also the receptionist/dispatcher was also very kind and helpful. I felt like i was talking to someone i had known for a while

We experienced the worst storm so far this season. We had a medium of 6 different power outages through the evening and into the morning hours. We woke to a house that was 55 degrees, some things up. The heater was off, I checked out our HVAC, it was of line. I consulted with AirTech of the problem we were having with the HVAC system that they had installed the year before last. They informed me that a technician would be there in the afternoon. First thing I thought was no way was this going to happen with the storm we had just experience. I expect a phone call later that day that they would reschedule for the next day. Not the case, just as they had stated I got a text from there technician Jason that afternoon that he was on his way. Huge relief, but unfortunately because all the power surges several components were damaged. Parts are ordered, repair is being scheduled. During the hour that Jason was diagnosing the problem that he was finding he was informative, professional, and tried to comfort us that AirTech warranty would cover there responsibilities all the time searching out the issuesUp Date,New components and surge protectors have been installed. Greatly appreciate the efforts of AirTech to get our heat back on.Thank you AirTech / Jason!
Ronnie was very professional and quick. He did have recommendations in which I first agreed to but because of the water leak which destroyed half our house we need to hold off until we see how much we have left over after the reconstruction of the house complete. Called mid-day with a leak problem on my indoor AC unit which was leaking on my carpet and coming close to my laminate flooring. They were able to get me in that afternoon by rearranging their schedule. A message was sent to me letting me know who my tech would be including his picture! What a great idea! Ronnie was prompt, quick, identified the problem, and gave me some pointers on taking care of my system. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for an AC service company.

2022-04-05I recommend Air Tech Pros. The entire experience was informative and pleasant experience. The staff was pleasant and informed from the beginning with Greg and Jason for the estimate cost to the end of the job with Darwin, Kyle, and Moses. I want to give a special thanks to Kyle and Moses for spending all three days of the install. Especially for the last 2 days spending their day up in my attic installing the new ducts and spraying new insulation. The also made it a point to make sure to spend time making sure they clean up before they left our house. They even gave us instructions on how to set up our new digital thermostat. I had other bids whose reps missed many of the considerations, details, and rebates my job entailed.Kevin, Mikhail, and Darwin did the installation and did an awesome job: clean, professional, and efficient.Great company for switching to heat pump system, getting off natural gas, replacing your old leaky duct work and adding extra attic insulation. 2021-12-06We had our HVAC unit replaced recently. After 3 estimates from various companies, we settled with Air Tech. I felt that Greg was very involved with the project from the day he came by to give their estimate. Overall we were happy with the ease and pace of the replacement. I am going to keep doing business with this company!Just a tip for anyone getting their unit replaced: I wish I would have left the house for a few hours! After install, the unit had a slight smell that went away (I guess something on the unit is coated in oil that burns off), but for a few hours when we first used the unit I kept getting light headed.

2022-03-12AirTech removed my old heat pump packed unit from roof, replaced it with a new one, reinforced the roof where the unit sits and completed all wiring. They also lowered their pricing. I was watching FOX 40 news and they mentioned the home and garden show at the CAL EXPO center and thats were I met Greg. AirTech delivered as advertised. Special thanks to Greg, Darwin, and Hugo. 2022-03-29In doing our servicing on our heater and air conditioner that he comes out twice a year to do he found some issues with the unit, one was preventive maintenance to which we had surge protectors installed on both units to prevent damage to the units, he also found that the fan on the heating unit was coming on more frequently than it was supposed to which was caused in us extra money with our PG&e bill. We happen to have a service contract for home protection for our appliances air conditioner and heater to which this PC board fell under. After trying to explain for an hour to the insurance company what the concerns were it was finally taken care of this man was more than professional more patient than I could have possibly been worked clean did the job proficiently and was pleasant the total time. I would highly recommend him and just about any condition just by the way he conducted himself.

2022-06-07The technician was great. Service was also very quick. My major concern here is cost. My AC unit needed a new capacitor which costs all of $20-$30 but unfortunately I could not get one locally and purchasing one online was going to take at least two days to get here. In this heat there was no way I was going to wait. Even with a 15% discount I still ended up paying almost $400 for a part that cost less than 30 bucks. Very unhappy about how much I had to pay for an inexpensive part and about 20 minutes of work
