This is my first alarm system with ADT and I was extremely pleased with the overall installation process. Kudos goes out to the ADT technician, Eduardo Hernandez, who spent over 5.5 hours installing 5 cameras. The security cameras were being installed at my parents’ home on the West Coast while I was interacting and communicating with Ed on the East Coast. Not only was Ed extremely diligent and patient with a couple of elderly folks throughout the process, but he worked with me on the phone to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the placement and the views of the cameras. He also walked me through the on-line set-up process. He is an excellent example of what customer service should be and hopes that ADT management recognizes this and also employs more individuals like Ed. Thanks for making the install process painless Ed!
My technician, Jarvis arrived to my home on time and was very patient with me as he walked me through how to add the ADT app on my phone, how to use the security panel and use my other installed equipment. I feel very secure in my home due to Jarvis’ excellent service.
Been a nightmare since the upgrade. Changed my equipment to 5G as they requested and it stopped working next day. ADT said next appointment is 2 weeks out. Service rep also stated that they’ve been receiving a lot of issues with this upgrade and they’re “learning” as they go. Are you guys serious? I was able to receive the upgrade appointment same week but now that you have the responsibility to fix the issue, I can’t get an appointment until 2 weeks. I’ll be shopping around for a new provider.
I have to say my confidence has been restored all thanks to Ed Bearden my tech. He came out asking very good questions before installing my 2 new cameras. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He informed of the time and process after asking questions and gave good location advice as well. After he was done he made sure I check everything to be done correctly and cleaned up after himself. I will always use ADT as long as they keep techs like ED on staff. Thanks again Ed, you were great.
The only reason for this five star rating is for the service we received from our technician, Ed Bearden. ADT Customer Service is disgraceful, but the dispatch and technicians are awesome and saved us in continuing to be ADT customers. Over the last month, Ive called into customer service a couple times and, on average, I am on the phone for 2 hrs and get transferred at least 4-5 times--- and that is for calling about something as basic as scheduling an appt. The day Ed Bearden came to our house, I was at the end of my rope with ADT (due to customer service) and ready to cancel all together. Ed was a complete game changer for our opinion of ADT. He is kind, professional, personable and patient. He worked really hard and fixed our alarm issues that were not easy-- 2 day job. Thank you Ed!! We are lifelong ADT customers, because of you.***ATTN to the ADT Powers That Be-- YOU HAVE GOT TO GET YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN ORDER. It is a straight up circus trying to call about even the most basic of needs. I guarantee they are killing your company. If I was a new customer, I would have hung up and given my business to another company.
Eduardo Hernandez came out today to install a Ring Door Bell to my system. He was excellent, and very patient in working out the issues we had with the install. I have jotted down is number and would like to have him back again, if I need further features added to my system.
I have been with ADT Security Services for my business for over 16 years. Recently, we decided to utilize the ADT services for our home as well. When we received the bill after having the installation in our home we noticed our bill with home and business got all mixed up. I called ADT’s local office in Anaheim and transferred me over to a very helpful and kind woman named Crystal Price. She took the ownership of this problem and stayed on top of it with constant communication within her organization and myself until the problem got resolved. This five star rating is exclusively for her and for the job well done. Employees like her truly are the assets within an organization.
I used ADT for my home & am very disappointed with the services. Not only did sensors not work even after technicians came to check them out, I was never notified by the company that I needed a permit with the police to have an alarm. The one time the alarm did go off (over nothing, the sensors were acting up again) I was charged over $300 fine to the police. When I called ADT, they told me I’d likely get a refund as this happens frequently. It took them FIVE months to get to my case, they rudely declined my refund & blamed me even though according to the LAW it is the alarm company’s obligation to notify me of the permit. I have canceled my services with them (which cost $500 for breaking my contract early) however have yet to received a terminated contract from them. Now I’m not sure if they’re going to keep charging me. They will take as much as money as they can from you without the worst services. Avoid ADT!
ADT is a no no for me! We had an issue with the alarm system and they sent some guy who doesn’t have an ‘ID’ to come fix the problem!!! Who lets someone without an ID into their house to fix security issues??? And we’ve had a burglary in the house once. And they want to fine us $700 for refusing the guy into our house??? Seriously? And they are making it so difficult to cancel the contract!!!!
I was unsure if I should get home security system. I can now say, I am glad I made the decision to. Our tech, Eduardo Hernandez was approachable and very educated. He was able to answer all my questions when I asked him. He explained everything that was done before doing it to make sure I was satisfied where everything was placed at. Once everything was installed, he went step by step to show me how everything works so I would not be so clueless. Highly recommend him.Thanks for your hard word Ed! I really appreciate it.
Omar came out to install a replacement smoke detector for our 22 year old wired detector and was extremely helpful, very conscientious to protect our wood floor and to clean up after his work, and to test the alarm system and give us information about available new products. He was extremely professional and rendered outstanding customer service. This was refreshing as not all our ADT service calls have been this outstanding. Thank you Omar
We’ve been customers of ADT for over 20 years and have been please with our service. We decided to upgrade our system a while back and have been very please with our decision to do so. Everyone from customer service agents to their installers have been very professional.
Steven Lomeli was our technician who was so professional, helpful, and knowledgeable about everything from pricing to the best-fit solution for our needs, to walking us through the ADT Pulse system and how to use it well. I want to thank Steven for making us feel that we made the right decision with our home security system. Because of Stevens service, it made me feel the level of technological maturity and assurance from ADT.
ADT is the worst company for service and competence. They flake out on their appointments about 30 % of the time and the level of incompetence from their technicians is scary. It is one of the easiest trades and none of their technicians can do a trouble free install. No exceptions.
Lori Hastert has provided us with the best customer service. Not only is she knowledgable of ADT Security Services, but she is very thorough in her presentation. Most importantly, she follows through with phone calls and text messages in a professional and timely manner. I highly recommend her. ADT is lucky to have Lori. She is the best!
Installer Edgar Alamazan came over before 5 and stayed past 7 to install 2 indoor cameras in my home. For 1 camera, he crawled in the attic (it was hot!) and was able to do minimal damage as he installed 1 camera. You cant even see the small amount of wire. He also installed another camera and made sure the automation was working and helped me figure out how to view everything on my phone and my computer. He cleaned up after himself and theres no trace that he was here except for these great cameras. He has a wonderful, helpful attitude, is patient and a very skilled workman. Thank you Edgar!
Eduardo did a great job wiring the house. It took two days and he was patient and polite. He also took the extra step of setting up an additional wireless network in a part of the house that wasnt getting any wireless. The previous security company could not figure out how to do that!
Highly recommend to ADT specially Bennie Blanco! Bennie is very friendly, great to work with and even after you already had the account with him. He still take care of you for whatever concerns you had! I don’t need to talk about how great ADT sevice is. They are top the notch! But I want to share my review with Bennie. I have known Bennie over 4 years now. He helped me to set up alarm sevice for my business and my home. I just recently had some trouble with my home, I texted Bennie he answered me right away and set up everything I need within 10 mins of talking to him! He saved me so much time to call ADT directly! I am so grateful that I have Bennie as my account executive! If you need a good, trustful sevice with your home, your business, please call a Bennie! ADT built-in job security. They came out to upgrade our cellular radio, and left the LAN cable disconnected. A few months later, anther tech comes out to reconnect it. This costs $161, to plug the LAN cable back in. When I tried to find out whats going on with this, the response is nothing but crickets. Engage these folks, and you too can experience this much hilarity!
Want to give a big THANK YOU to Ullyesses Guerrero my repair rep. He was on time, polite, and very professional. He took the time to completely check my system and make the changes I had requested.He also took time to explain what he had done and qweek a few items that needed attention.I would be pleased to have him back again, should my system need attention. Worst experience with this company! We couldnt get a quote without a sales person coming to your home and then once you are in their system you get bombarded with phone calls and emails daily. The sales rep assigned to us was Nisha Patel and was HORRIBLE. She was more than 30 minutes late, did not really assess what was important to us or fit us into an appropriate system for our needs. She told us that the doors could be customized per door (total lie, its an all or nothing system). She told us we would get a glass break sensor (lie, she got us a motion detector even though we have dogs and that isnt an option for us). We got this HUGE chunky plastic ugly keypad, not a touch screen, looks terrible in our home and plugs into our wall outlet where our two year old will be constantly pulling it out. When I called to complain, she said that we couldnt cancel (also a total lie). She backtracked and said that she would need me to speak to her boss but hours later Im still waiting. I have tried calling the local office and end up in a vicious phone loop where no one can help me. Not to mention that when you call your security company, you would think that you wouldnt be placed on hold for 5-10 minutes before you can speak with a live agent. I dont have any experience with security systems but this is nothing like I envisioned.
These words are in no place for Gilbert. This has to do about Order Dispatch. Not dispatching the right Type of Tec for the New Install and subsequent orders and repair.Dont just drop the customer on the appointment Day or Repair Day. You have to call the customer. Why make an appointment and you have to reschedule. Next time I might just say, come and pick your stuff up and close my account.....

I had two burglars break into my business by throwing a rock through the front glass door. They entered the building, stole a bunch of cigarettes, all my lottery tickets, and then walked around the entire store knocking product off the shelves. The alarms, WHICH WAS ARMED, never went off, and they never set off the motion detectors. A homeless man across the street watching this happen and was the one who called the police. When the police arrived 20 minutes later and entered the building to clear it the alarms/motion detectors went off and thats when I was notified of the burglary, more than 20 minutes after it happened. A homeless man was more effective than ADT, if it wasnt for him my business wouldve been left open like that for anyone else interested in stealing from me. Attached are pictures showing that the burglars broke in at 4:25am and also pictures showing the alarms were set at 2:00am and that the alarms didnt go off till 4:45am.
I just signed up for ADT service, and had the install completed yesterday.. The overall service provided exceeded my expectations.. I had the privilege to receive Eduardo Hernandez as the technician to perform the install.. He was very knowledgeable about their product, very thorough with the install, and very professional from start to finish.. Keep up the good work!!
They came to my House to give me a quote for the service By Mark Domingo, and after they give me the numbers 3 days after his Manager Karen Ayala called me back giving me different numbers, and said was Miss understanding, wow how to be miss understanding, horrible customer service,

2022-05-04Please never go with ADT, all they want is your money. They show and commit to one rate $29.99 and charge you a much higher rate $54.99 put you in a contract for 2 years which you are forced to pay and after 2 years when you call to cancel it they put you on hold come back with a much much lesser rate $14.99 for 6 month but within a month they charge $54.99 to original rate!!! I call back frustrated to cancel it and again they put me on hold keep talking non sense that they will put in financial assistance blah blah blah 😑 My god Im like cancel it and still they charge for current month and next month talking something that doesnt make any sense finally I got a confirmation number waiting for June 3rd to charge me one last time and if they charge me again I will definitely sue them!!!! Never trust ADT folks!!! Hopeless!!!

2021-09-27The service man showed up on time. Wore his mask (which is something we seniors take seriously) and provided excellent service on our system. We had a problem with a motion monitor and he was able to replace it quickly. He was very professional and a good representative of the company.

He made recommendations I hadnt thought about and I felt he had my best interest in mind. - Thank you Pablo, for taking my stressful experience that led me to ADT and leaving me feeling very safe. 2019-01-30BIG thanks to EDUARDO HERNANDEZ at ADT Security!! He came today (not just on time, but 20 minutes early though he waited outside patiently until it was time for our appointment) to replace our very old alarm system and install a new one. Eduardo did an excellent job, not to mention his superb customer service skills. We were very impressed with how knowledgeable and helpful he was. He absolutely gets an A+ from our family. He went above and beyond the call of duty and made sure the job was completed in full satisfaction. We are very happy and pleased, and grateful for the security that ADT has been providing our family for 25+ years.

2018-08-24Weve been ADT customers for about 1 1/2 years now and love their service! So, when we moved, we knew we were taking them with us. Our install tech (Noe) arrived on time and talked me through the entire process, helping me make decisions about the security of our new home. Plus, when he discovered the old system was completely unusable and needed to be entirely upgraded, he took it in stride and did the work with a smile. His level of customer service was stellar and makes me glad to be an ADT customer!

2018-11-22Today I had a service call as well as installation of camera and my service technician Eduardo Hernandez was spot on! Prior to my scheduled appointment time he phoned me to notify me of his arrival time, he showed when he said he would and his professionalism overall was OUTSTANDING!!! Eduardo explained everything that he would be doing and he walked me through everything once he complete both work orders that I had scheduled for the day. Eduardo I appreciate your professionalism and just your friendly and polite attitude. Hands down you have been THE BEST tech that has come out to my homes for servicing and installation. 2018-08-24Eduardo Hernandez did an excellent job installing my ADT system today. He used uniform, streamlined equipment and installed everything in a way so that it looks great. He was very careful of the furniture in the house and also the floors and carpets, wearing boot coverings, and he was very personable and patient. He checked his work to be sure everything worked properly and explained the equipment and how to use it thoroughly.

2018-11-11Im not one for doing reviews but I just had to for this one. I recently had my ADT security system upgraded and I just wish all my experiences were as pleasant as this one! The ADT Tech Eduardo Hernandez who came out to do the work was incredible! He took his time and explained everything to us. He was very methodical, meticulous and extremely thorough. Another words, he wanted to make sure everything got completed and was done right! As a customer, this is so important!!! I always dread having any sort of work done because 99% of the time its never done right. And its always a hassle to get it fixed. So I just wanted to thank Mr. Hernandez! Your hard work did not go unnoticed! And thank you ADT for hiring good quality people such as him! It makes all the difference in the world!!!

2021-04-06Ive been an ADT customer for almost seven years. I was very disappointed w/ their service. They were supposed to come out and install a new keypad, replace two existing keypads, and add an additional door sensor. They scheduled a service call for Friday afternoon and had to cancel and reschedule it for Monday afternoon. I got a call from the tech in the morning asking what equipment I needed! You would have thought that info would have been in the work order. That afternoon I got another call saying they would have to reschedule again! On Thursday, another tech came out and informed me that he would not be able to install a new keypad as it required hard wiring. In the meantime, ADT charged me for the new keypad. I called them after the tech had left and they said that the local branch would call me within 24 to 48 hours to straighten out the charge and to advise on why a new keypad couldnt be added. Its been over 48 hours and I still havent heard from them!

2018-11-04We just upgraded our system. Eduardo Hernandez is an excellent technician. He encountered a few unexpected challenges but he quickly determined how to address these and kept us posted regularly. Overall, he demonstrated excellent customer service, was very respectful and polite and clearly has strong technical skills and experience. He provided us his business card so we could contact him directly if we have any questions! Very pleased with our experience!
