This grade is based upon a certIain employee That is a insurance Adjuster by the name of Brittany GarciaShe is very rude and has no customer service skills she never answers her phone and when I leave voice-mail she says she didnt receive it she needs to be fired or retrained.
Called the travel department and spoke to Jenna. I explained I was in a few months ago to get a trip planned out for Florida. Was told at that time to call back and get road conditions before I hit the road. I called today but Jenna was no help said I needed to look the information up by myself. I thought that’s what her job was to help us out when needed.
It turned out that my Car registration/ insurance was never completed on their part. Meaning, the whole time I was driving my car with my paper with PROOF of insurance, it would have never qualified because it doesnt show on their end.This also goes for Triple AAA in general, after getting the home owners insurance ... IT WAS STILL NOT COMPLETED.
Southern California Automobile Club has a great facility in Long Beach. My only criticism is that it seems to be understaffed. A simple printout of a DMV document took less than a minute, but the wait to see the staff person took 25 minutes. The staff is wonderful and quite helpful.
One thing I hate is waiting when there is no crowd. There were lots of people standing around doing nothing while people were waiting. After twenty minutes I approached the counter someone helped me, I wonder if I didnt go to the counter my wait would have been much longer.
Just not what it used to be. Not as friendly, professional or speedy. Its almost like waiting at the DMV, honestly. Theres no sense of urgency from any of the employees. A lot of the insurance reps are on their personal phones taking extra time between calling clients and theyre walking around like theyre bored. Miss the old ambiance and service.
This AAA is alway knowledgeable and helpful when you go in to do anything having to do with the DMV. I appreciate the quality of employees who are always pleasant with a good attitude. The air conditioning was perfect today so I didn’t mind having to wait a little bit. Got my new trailer license plate and off I went.
We received excellent service from the very professional rep who helped us with travel planning, who was wearing his mask, but the wait was extremely long till that point, and the majority of customers waiting in line and sitting down in the waiting area were not wearing masks -- a few were coughing. We need to go back this week and are reluctant to go back because of this. The first customer service rep we talked to wasnt wearing her mask and when we remarked we were surprised that most of the people inside the offices were unmasked, she chuckled like it was amusing or something, then pulled her mask back up as if only to appease us. My mother was on a ventilator and almost died from COVID so I dont think anything about this pandemic, or the Delta variant, is worth risking your life ... and none of it is amusing on any level.
Cannot and wont do without AAA! Ive needed them for a slashed tire and a battery jump in the past year! They have always responded promptly and given me the best service. On my move across country, they helped in mapping out my stops and final destination. Even though I have a cell phone, just in case there is no signal....AAA is a wonderful backup plan for directions.....and its included in Member Services! ALL females should have AAA!
I had received a fix it ticket two months ago for not having a front license plate. I sent a request into the dmv for plates right after receiving the ticket, but never heard/received a thing from them. I walked into AAA, told them what I needed, and they helped me right away. I walked out with new license plates withing 10 minutes or less. Great, quick service with 0 complaints from me. Needless to say, my visit was a pleasure.
I am a member of AAA Auto Club mainly to avoid going to the DMV, that being said today Saturday 8.22.20 was my first time in the AAA office off Clark and Spring in Long Beach and the service I was given was nothing short of spectacular! I recently purchased an old Sears Game Fisher 12 fiber glass boat and American Trailer I began with only one bill of sale and was told by seller there was no other paperwork ie: title for boat because it has no vin, no title for trailer because its registered for life. Sounded weird to me but what the heck paid 450.00 for both together. Turns out trailer and boat both had vins and now both have titles being mailed to my house and until then I have temporary copies to cover me. This all made possible in what had to be record time by a wonderful woman named Patty (I am 99% sure of her name, please AAA let me know if thats incorrect or I will return to check because she deserves to be recognized!) I arrived at 149pm 11 minutes before closing and rather than turn me away Patty volunteered to take care of my predicament, I was in and out by 215pm with boat registration and quagga mussel sticker in hand and that included a trip to quite possibly the slowest ATM in all the land! I brought what I thought was enough cash for everything however I was misinformed my first time trying to get this taken care of at a different location and needed 11.00 extra, so close. The whole time I was guided through the process, no joke line by line so nothing was missed. I was given the correct vin, manufactured date and everything else necessary; all with more professionalism, courtesy and smiles than and entire state of DMV employees it would seem! Truly grateful, thanks for being so knowledgeable, so great, and going so far above and beyond all of my expectations! I only hope when I return if you arent the person I meet with they are half as good!
The Female Security Guard is Excellent organizing people for Insurance line and DMV line in LB off of Clark and Spring, I was helped immediately in DMV Tags, much faster than DMV ! Ive been an Auto Club Member for 30 Years, and they have Excellent Service, A 10 in Customer Service !!
Went to renew my registration. Today is the deadline. Sign outside says u can pay with cash, check or credit card. Personally, no longer use checks, but i know if you go online to most places, you can use ur routing # and account #. Not possible with AAA. Oh well, had to leave, get cash and return. Came back and had to fill out paperwork that i did not have 2 on the prior visit not twenty minutes prior. Again, oh well. But would love 2 hear the same rules and implementations from any worker. Playing field should always be the same. Not 2 much to ask 4.
Quick and easy!! During this pandemic, this branch made it so easy to renew my registration in person. I didnt even step foot in the building. An employee by the name of Jeff took care of me right outside the building where its nice and open. Bring cash or check! No cc.
I made an appointment at the Long Beach office to get a Real ID. They sent me an email (not a text) less than an hour before the appointment, telling me it was canceled. So now I am waiting 2 hours at the DMV because I need it right away. Very bad business behavior. If they had any competition they could not behave in this manner.
Overall the service is great however today there legendary service fell down I realize that every business has rules and procedures.Yesterday my son was stuck with a dead battery and I was unable to get to him for a jump.I called AAA and was told because he wasnt on my account they couldnt help unless I was there with my card, they wouldnt take the information on the phone.Ive been a member for 50 years and was told the only way they could help was for me to pay for a membership for my son.That kind of service is unacceptable to me Im in a service business and there are exceptions to the rules... 50 years of membership me t nothing to the clerk on the phone or his supervisor.The legendary service that John Boyle boasts of wasnt there today.Maybe he needs to re think his training plans.Charles Buchanan
Most times its a great service. Considerably faster than going to DMV. I only had one troublesome instance.I paid and filed for an address change and tags on my vehicle twice (by the same employee) and both times they never submitted the paperwork to DMV correctly. Could have been DMV not correcting my address twice...for 2 yrs...but doubtful. For some reason DMV (on the 5th and 6th yr of owning my car)my registration/tags kept getting sent to an arbitrary address. I got fed up and had to line myself at the actual DMV for the whole day to get it done right...I had to pay for that as well🙄Other than that one mess, this Auto club gives excellent timely services.
I had a problem with my car registration. I had tried to resolve it but couldnt. I had paid the fee and a parking ticket but received nothing. The kind and professional AAA staff person checked into the problem, found out what was needed: a few dollars resolved it. About 15 minutes later I walked out with my tag!
AAA has implemented some COVID safety procedures,such as temperature checks & check-in customers outside, sanitizer dispensers, and sneeze guards installed.AAA recommend to wait in the car, and when your appointment is ready, you will receive a text.Overall, I feel AAA has done everything to protect its customers, & employees.I just wish they could pick up the phone. I wanted to make sure that I am brining the right documents to avoid going back again. Sadly, no one at the branch answered the phone. (I do understand, with COVID, everyone is shorthanded though)
I do not use AAA when it cost $90 for a service call, so once they say, unfortunately, this is your fifth call, you will be charged $90 for this before service I decline and find alternative means. For this reason, I always ask if each service is within my membership. I was always told yes. It is within your membership. You still have 2 more calls. So you can imagine my surprise four months later when I was told that my account will be going to collections because I did not pay for a service. One of their own people said this to me Their system glitched or was down the day of the service you should have not even been given the service if it was the fifth call. What made it worse is that their system had my brother who is just an additional driver as the main driver and was sending him to collections. It is my signature on the documents. I have to pay now because my brother is on the line, but AAA no more. By the way, according to their bill, we are all still in 1920, not 2020. Fix your computers AAAThere are other companies that offer 6 - 8 calls and are way cheaper than AAA
This place doesnt accept debit cards, the front desk should have told me this when I first checked in, I waited 30mins for them to tell me that they dont accept debit cards, they suggested I use their atm to get cash out that had a fee no thanks, she also suggested I use a credit card, I walked out, I Paid for my registration online I wont be back here, who doesnt accept debit cards so bizarre.
I just went in to see my agent to make sure I had all paperwork complete for my new policy. I expected a fairly long wait since I did not have an appointment. I have to say I was completely floored at how friendly, professional and efficient everyone was. Pleasantly surprised!
My sister was unable to see clearly and asked the younglady where was she suppose to sign and the girl told her she could not help her. I was very disappointed with this. My sister came out to the car where I was with a baby for me to tell her. Very, very poor customer service.
Its all about covid control here...The people inside are fine...its the Karens in the outside tent acting like tyrannical cow herders who want nothing more than for you to just shut up and listen to their Gestapo tactics or just go away...if you enjoy being rousted and long waits then this place is for you... otherwise go to the DMV, you can thank me later.
AAA is the best. I been a member for awhile now. I love visiting the Long Beach branch. They are very courteous and kind. They take care of their customer quickly & thoroughly. My insurance agent Ernest Redmond is an excellent professional. Knowledgeable & skilled. Thanks Mr. Redmond for your committed service at AAA of Long Beach.
Businesses have opened up again, we called the operator to ensure notary services were happening and we got a positive. When we arrived to the AAA office, we were denied stating due to covid notaries werent happening. No effort into practicing proper guideline for a signature service is asinine. Not one referral to a different notary location nor any info on reimbursement since we are now having to outsource a notary office.
I would like to thank Lashelle (sic?) for her assistance with my claim, which was not even assigned to her. She went above and beyond, showed understanding& empathy...excellent customer service. Im just really grateful she was the one who got on the phone. If it was anyone else, Im certain it would not have worked out well for me. The receptionist was very courteous and helpful as well. Thank you again.
Outstanding! If you have to visit one of their offices it is so much better than ever having to go to DMV. You whizz right through everywhere you need to go no. Ive never waited longer than 10 minutes before my name was called. I have yet to use any of their on the road services but from what I hear they are spectacular also. I bought my Towing insurance from AAA just to avoid DMV and boy wasnt worth it plus the bonus Ave getting help if I run out of gas get a flat tire or need tow Taylor closest repair shop. I even purchased the coverage for my motorcycle which will also cover my RV when I decide to get one or should I say afford one. Basically cant go wrong.
They kept me cover and protected for the last 10 years. Coverages payment are reasonable. Great Insurance company to be with. Corporate Office location very nice. Plenty of parking. Also has plenty of employment opportunities for someone whom might be interesting in that field of work.
I love the company after 25+ years, the new arrangements is CRAZY.NO LOUD SPEAKERS ANYMORE the employees has to leave there area to come into the lobby to call your name and then walk back to their desk with you trailing behind them.DMV desk is the only one, when you walk inside you can continue and get in line and wait for them. The best part is being able to walk in the door and check in and to know that you will be assistant and they always give a complimentary Waters.I forgot to mention the customer service there they are always on top! And you know I didnt forget my maps because I am definitely going to be tearing up the country this summer.😁
I always come here, but today around 4:15I went inside, I needed valuable information to register a car, young white lady was in a mood.She didn’t even say hello, rude, and think she knows everything about Registration, information that should be provided by a competent person, but she didn’t let me pass the reception.She should not be working there.
My husband and I had Farmers Insurance (car & rentals). We decided to compare pricing with other insurance companies. We chose AAA after reading reviews on J.D. Power. We got a much better deal with AAA and we want to personally thank Ana Peraza (Insurance Sales Agent) for being professional, Informative and having the best office. Her office decor was Calming and Peaceful no stress transition. Thank you again AAA.

This is an all around great place. You can get roadside assistance as well as home and auto insurance, and renters insurance here as well as avoid the hassle of spending hours at the DMV. By being able to take car of your business there. And its not a long lines or a long wait. You get a complimentary bottle of water and they sell other little things such as maps, puzzle,and games for the family while on the road. The only bad thing is if youre renewing your registration for you vehicle you can only pay cash...
Ive been a AAA Premier member for 21 years. However this was the worst service Ive ever endured. The driving instructor assigned to my daughter was terrible. The only number given was a number to leave a message. between myself, my Daughter and my wife we left over 10 messages over 4 weeks before we got a call back. Finally we got to schedule a class. The instructor Virginia was rude! made my daughter feel terrible. She hated the experience. It was the absolute worst person you can imagine. I think the driving instructors are super disgruntled and overworked. please dont put your child through it. I hired another company soon after and the experience has been great.SAVE YOUR CHILD. DO NOT USE THIS SCHOOL.

She got me all set up with an international driver’s permit for my upcoming trip to Australia/SE Asia, and found me an awesome selection of maps for my camping trips in the next few days. She helped me with aspects of my travels where I didn’t even know I needed help. Ive used this AAA now for I think 24 years. I turned 40 July 27rh and if Im not mistaken I think it might have been there when I got my license at 16 maybe it was built a little later. But Ive had a AAA Membership since 16. Although due to youthful indiscretions I wasnt always able to afford them as my auto insurance company Im so stoked at 40 that my yearly auto breaks down to $37 a month for full coverage uninsured/underinsured motorists, comprehensive and collision with quite low deductibles. As a currently non-practing insurance agent I if course opted for a renters policy since Im aware the multi policy discount is so impact on ur auto premium the renter insurance ends up being free and it actually lowers your yearly auto premium more when compared annually.I use them for all dmv registration services i am able to as well THEY are so friendly and quite accommodating
I was required to come into office to make a cash payment to reinstate insurance. I paid the cash payment and was told payment would be reinstated at midnight. 3 weeks letter I received a phone call saying they never received payment and I have been driving without insurance for 3 weeks. I told them where I made the cash payment. I cannot find my receipt. The person said I would have to contact the Long Beach office because they do not communicate with that office. So, I cant drive or go to work today -- no insurance. I now have to follow-up with long beach office. Even if they reinstate at midnight I have no coverage today and should not drive to work -- although I have done it unknowingly for 3 weeks
I have been here on three separate occasions, and all three visits have been unsatisfactory. The first time, they were closed because it was lunchtime. This time I was sent away because I wanted to pay my vehicles registration and could not because the car is in my daughters name. I will opt to use the DMV; Its just as disappointing and no annual fee. So long AAA. Three strikes and you are out!!!
AAA is the best place to take care of your DMV needs with out the lines that are usual at DMV. You can get plates for your car, renew registration, transfer titles everything except drivers licence renewal. But thats not all they also offer insurance for car, home,apartment and life.. They they can help you plan a trip foreign or domestic and have a vast array of maps to keep you from getting lost.Theyre always friendly and professionalI love AAA. Best investment ever!
It may be better then sitting at the DMV but that ismt saying much . Called monday to find out late registration fees on my nephews car asked they told me the rate and said i could come in and pay it . So i wasted my time today going in and was told he had to be a member inorder to pay his registration. That would be fine had i not paid my girls reg at the same branch a few months ago with no issue . Why was it fine then and not now .This allong with having to argue with two drivers .when they try and tell me my personal truck cant be towed because they are claiming it is a work truck! There is no rack, no box ,and no tools in the back that would qualify this as a work truck ! The driver is just trying to get extra cash !Dont get me started anout their rip off insurance . If you have drop it they will fight you to pay out and up your rate regardless of full coverage . I had to do the work my self because all the shops they work with said they cant do a flat black paint job ?🤔🤦♂️🖕👎
We love AAA we love all those services and we liked everything about AAA the three stars is not because of their service is because of the fact that there for long beach location they dont take debit cards they only take check or cash which we feel is not very good since we are now in the technological era were really nobody writes checks anymore everythings done by debit card.
Cant say enough about how wonderful AAA is. From the roadside assistance. To the DMV services and car registration. Do your drivers license and movie tickets its amazing. Not only that but the wonderful Westways magazines you can never go wrong. My friend changed from Progressive to AAA while standing in the DMV line I highly recommend anyone that wants to get any service is done through the DMV. Must go to AAA. Thanks AAA for all the help youve done for me and my family through all these years.
I love AAA aucclub been with them 7 years Really no problems had a problem with a shop they came right to my home show them what the problem was with leo&sons Gshop they AAA help me get my $ back no one should get ripe off and thats what they were trying to do to me but AAA Auto club help me .thanks again AAA Autoclub your the best.
Incredibly rude staff. I got called up and the two employees were trash talking a previous customer, making remarks on how he was stupid for not bringing a title or something. I understand frustration from working in retail but trash talking a customer in front of a customer is shameful. Go to another branch if you can.

2022-07-21After 31 years of paying on time. They would not let me register my car cause the policy expired and they needed 27$ to help me out. Them pretty gold cards with all your years of paying in a big red number have no value to the Automobile Club of California. Bye

2022-05-265/19/22- AAA did not provide road side assistance regarding a flat tire. Initial call 5:30 pm.3.5 hours went by without a courtesy update or general safety concern check-in.Several calls to the So-Cal AAA agents were made by both my husband and I, the feedback was he was put on the urgent priority list and/or truck driver didnt have the proper equipment.Each call placed to AAA during this timeframe lasted on average 25 minutes.My husbands life was in danger as he sat on a dark, busy highway. He ultimately made the decision to drive on a rim to a safe location.Contact with supervisor Marx was initiated by us at approximately 9:00 pm. Marx stated, the tow truck driver who picked up our call inexplicity stopped working. He gave a rather dry apology and directed us to call the customer experience department, but failed to provide us with the number.5/23/22- contact to AAA at approximately 8:15 am was initiated by myself. Supervisor Brenda took our complaint and offered a compensation apology and upgraded us to a premium plus membership for May-Jan. She stated the cards would be mailed out soon. We inquired a true full years premium plus membership at minimum for their lack of customer care and AAA leaving my husband on the side of the road helpless for over 3 hours. Brenda stated she would ask her supervisor for the full year plan and get back to us.5/26/22- Brenda has not reached back out with any updates.5/26/22- At approximately 4 am, my husband unfortunately got another flat and called AAA. He waits over 2.5 hours for a tow. The tow truck driver discloses that AAA did not put the call into his que until 6:45 am. Again, no courtesy call update or safety check-in by AAA. During this time I notify my husband that our plan online still reads classic membership. We realized he needed to make an immediate call to AAA explaining once again the incident that took place on 5/19 and this morning, and get a supervisor to over-ride the classic membership mileage coverage and grant the enhanced premium plus mileage coverage, authorized to us by Brenda. Ultimately, the mileage needed to get his car home was granted.5/26/22- My husband called AAA after the morning incident to file another roadside complaint regarding the 2.5 hour wait time. He called in, while I listened. He was put in touch with Noemi. She disclosed she was working from the So-Cal Long Beach region/city. Noemi said that both complaints will be handled by a case counselor. Per Noemi a case counselor reviews documentation, complaints and compensation. They have more power than she or Brenda to make decisions. Noemi said a case counselor needs to be assigned before our cards can begin to be processed. As of 5/23 a case counselor is still pending and has not yet been assigned. Brenda neglected to share any of this information on our 5/23 call with her.We asked Noemi for her direct number for any future support, or the case counselor departments number, but she adamantly stated, I am not authorized to give you that information. I inquired about being provided a point of contact e-mail to a helpful supervisor or case counselor, but again she rejected this.5/26/22- My husband realizes he needs to get a rent a car to commute to work. Under the premium plus plan that Brenda verbally authorized, is a free day rental. However, because our account still reads classic member this posed another issue. My husband made a call to AAA, and after being on hold for over 30 minutes was denied a rental car. There again was no further solutions or support.I made contact with Lakeisha at the Long Beach branch at 9:47 am, and explained the entire AAA roadside assistance history issues again, and requested that she please help get us reconnected to Noemi or Marx. After being placed on hold for 40 min, Lakeisha said Noemi was the emergency roadside service supervisor and who I needed to speak with in regards to possibly working something out to get my husband a rental. She said, Noemi will call you back within 5 minutes. I have not receive a call or message.

2022-06-20I am no longer sure about triple A membership or any of their services. They contacted a tow company to toe my vehicle. the driver refused to take it to the destination that was request by meself and noted by the agent. The driver took it to another place without my permission. When I called the next day and told the company I wanted to have my vehicle towed out if their they said if I did bot agree to have it fixed at their shop they would charge me storage fees for every day it was in their yard. When I asked triple A for their help and to reimburse me for that ransom that the autoshop.was extorting me for the agent said it was not her problem. I should not have it towed their. However if she would have looked at the notes on the call she would have known the details, which I explained anyway. She still refused.the next day I called another number of a different supervisor.she was more understanding amd said she would investigate and see what she could do and was goingto try and help me get the vehicle back without having to pay the rasom. However we got disconnected near the end of the call and when she called back I missed the call and her voicemail said to call the 800 number. All I had was her first name (Brenda). As helpful as she was no one else at triple a has seemed to be as helpful. One person st the Long Beach branch did offer some help and advice but he said unfortunately I would have to pay the auto place to get my car back even though this was not my fault. I did not choose the towing company or the mechanic. Teiple A who I trusted are the one who hired the tow truck on contract and its on them when it turns out that the company does not have reputable drivers who cheat unsuspecting individuals. Its a scam.done by some shops wherethey offer kickbacks to tow truck drivers to bring them cars instead of delivering them to other shops even if its against the request if the vehicle owner. So far triple A has not been very helpful and in many ways they have been more hurtful. If this is not rectified I will be looking into legal recourse.

2022-01-04I have been to this facility many times always good, quick service. Speaking on more general terms as far as insurance companys go I have had nothing but a great experience with any issues I have used them for in the past. Whether it be for car or home the service they have provided me is top notch. They have mine and my familys business for life. 2021-12-25People call me crazy to suggest AAA purely for convenience, customer service, and being able to do most automobile services. Registration, most importantly, and not have to hassle with the DMV. Everyone is friendly and super knowledgeable.

2022-03-30I am so done with you guys!!!!! I can’t believe no one is able to help me run from location to location and there is no claims department! The person you dedicated to my claim had the most horrible customer service her name is Jennifer Keatley and after all the money I pay monthly for yours services never been late never complained always follow what you said to do and I am done.

2022-02-01Super slow in the DMV department. Seems as though they enjoy making you wait. Also, dont ever book a cruise with AAA -- not after the Covid debacle.

2022-02-05Ive always thought AAA is simply the Best when it comes to insurance, and of course roadside assistance is such a bargain! This location has wonderful customer service every time I go in.
