After 31 years of paying on time. They would not let me register my car cause the policy expired and they needed 27$ to help me out. Them pretty gold cards with all your years of paying in a big red number have no value to the Automobile Club of California. Bye

5/19/22- AAA did not provide road side assistance regarding a flat tire. Initial call 5:30 pm.3.5 hours went by without a courtesy update or general safety concern check-in.Several calls to the So-Cal AAA agents were made by both my husband and I, the feedback was he was put on the urgent priority list and/or truck driver didnt have the proper equipment.Each call placed to AAA during this timeframe lasted on average 25 minutes.My husbands life was in danger as he sat on a dark, busy highway. He ultimately made the decision to drive on a rim to a safe location.Contact with supervisor Marx was initiated by us at approximately 9:00 pm. Marx stated, the tow truck driver who picked up our call inexplicity stopped working. He gave a rather dry apology and directed us to call the customer experience department, but failed to provide us with the number.5/23/22- contact to AAA at approximately 8:15 am was initiated by myself. Supervisor Brenda took our complaint and offered a compensation apology and upgraded us to a premium plus membership for May-Jan. She stated the cards would be mailed out soon. We inquired a true full years premium plus membership at minimum for their lack of customer care and AAA leaving my husband on the side of the road helpless for over 3 hours. Brenda stated she would ask her supervisor for the full year plan and get back to us.5/26/22- Brenda has not reached back out with any updates.5/26/22- At approximately 4 am, my husband unfortunately got another flat and called AAA. He waits over 2.5 hours for a tow. The tow truck driver discloses that AAA did not put the call into his que until 6:45 am. Again, no courtesy call update or safety check-in by AAA. During this time I notify my husband that our plan online still reads classic membership. We realized he needed to make an immediate call to AAA explaining once again the incident that took place on 5/19 and this morning, and get a supervisor to over-ride the classic membership mileage coverage and grant the enhanced premium plus mileage coverage, authorized to us by Brenda. Ultimately, the mileage needed to get his car home was granted.5/26/22- My husband called AAA after the morning incident to file another roadside complaint regarding the 2.5 hour wait time. He called in, while I listened. He was put in touch with Noemi. She disclosed she was working from the So-Cal Long Beach region/city. Noemi said that both complaints will be handled by a case counselor. Per Noemi a case counselor reviews documentation, complaints and compensation. They have more power than she or Brenda to make decisions. Noemi said a case counselor needs to be assigned before our cards can begin to be processed. As of 5/23 a case counselor is still pending and has not yet been assigned. Brenda neglected to share any of this information on our 5/23 call with her.We asked Noemi for her direct number for any future support, or the case counselor departments number, but she adamantly stated, I am not authorized to give you that information. I inquired about being provided a point of contact e-mail to a helpful supervisor or case counselor, but again she rejected this.5/26/22- My husband realizes he needs to get a rent a car to commute to work. Under the premium plus plan that Brenda verbally authorized, is a free day rental. However, because our account still reads classic member this posed another issue. My husband made a call to AAA, and after being on hold for over 30 minutes was denied a rental car. There again was no further solutions or support.I made contact with Lakeisha at the Long Beach branch at 9:47 am, and explained the entire AAA roadside assistance history issues again, and requested that she please help get us reconnected to Noemi or Marx. After being placed on hold for 40 min, Lakeisha said Noemi was the emergency roadside service supervisor and who I needed to speak with in regards to possibly working something out to get my husband a rental. She said, Noemi will call you back within 5 minutes. I have not receive a call or message.

I am no longer sure about triple A membership or any of their services. They contacted a tow company to toe my vehicle. the driver refused to take it to the destination that was request by meself and noted by the agent. The driver took it to another place without my permission. When I called the next day and told the company I wanted to have my vehicle towed out if their they said if I did bot agree to have it fixed at their shop they would charge me storage fees for every day it was in their yard. When I asked triple A for their help and to reimburse me for that ransom that the autoshop.was extorting me for the agent said it was not her problem. I should not have it towed their. However if she would have looked at the notes on the call she would have known the details, which I explained anyway. She still refused.the next day I called another number of a different supervisor.she was more understanding amd said she would investigate and see what she could do and was goingto try and help me get the vehicle back without having to pay the rasom. However we got disconnected near the end of the call and when she called back I missed the call and her voicemail said to call the 800 number. All I had was her first name (Brenda). As helpful as she was no one else at triple a has seemed to be as helpful. One person st the Long Beach branch did offer some help and advice but he said unfortunately I would have to pay the auto place to get my car back even though this was not my fault. I did not choose the towing company or the mechanic. Teiple A who I trusted are the one who hired the tow truck on contract and its on them when it turns out that the company does not have reputable drivers who cheat unsuspecting individuals. Its a scam.done by some shops wherethey offer kickbacks to tow truck drivers to bring them cars instead of delivering them to other shops even if its against the request if the vehicle owner. So far triple A has not been very helpful and in many ways they have been more hurtful. If this is not rectified I will be looking into legal recourse.

I have been to this facility many times always good, quick service. Speaking on more general terms as far as insurance companys go I have had nothing but a great experience with any issues I have used them for in the past. Whether it be for car or home the service they have provided me is top notch. They have mine and my familys business for life. I dont often do these reviews unless I am very impressed or very disappointed with the place I am reviewing. Keep up the good work AAA. 🤘🤘

People call me crazy to suggest AAA purely for convenience, customer service, and being able to do most automobile services. Registration, most importantly, and not have to hassle with the DMV. Everyone is friendly and super knowledgeable.

I am so done with you guys!!!!! I can’t believe no one is able to help me run from location to location and there is no claims department! The person you dedicated to my claim had the most horrible customer service her name is Jennifer Keatley and after all the money I pay monthly for yours services never been late never complained always follow what you said to do and I am done.

Super slow in the DMV department. Seems as though they enjoy making you wait. Also, dont ever book a cruise with AAA -- not after the Covid debacle.

Ive always thought AAA is simply the Best when it comes to insurance, and of course roadside assistance is such a bargain! This location has wonderful customer service every time I go in.
