Nice people. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, its called 99 cents ONLY store, and not everything is only 99 cents, some items are marked more then $5
So much fun to be in a different city and see different merchandise than what is available at home.
Always spend more than I planned on my budget, with the great value and variety on my purchases, but I have weathered the resecession and pandemic. So grateful for this.
I went to the Jurapa, CA 99 cent store this time and I found everything I needed. It was around 9:40am when I arrived. All the fruits and vegetables were fresh. The refrigerated section was well stocked and the missing Halloween decorations that I needed were there! Great Friday morning!

Store is overcrowded but still can find items. I wasnt impressed with the fruits or vegetables they had some too ripe they were stinky and I was wearing a mask
Very bad service. My son had to go to the restroom and no one showed after being called on the over com, oh but there was a party going on in the break room. Both cashiers were very nice and welcoming

Probably one of the best 99 cent stores ever! I go here a lot and they always have a great selection of items! Plus, the employees are really friendly! Only negative thing I can say is that the store smells a little funny sometimes but I think all 99 cent stores smell a little funny so it really doesn’t matter haha
I go to this store often I like finding things at a good price always find something cute for the house, only one thing, I always bring my two small doggies in with me they are support dogs they are very clean and well behaved, the store manager told me during one of my visits I would have to take them out of the store, that upset me somewhat I take them in other stores and no one has ever said that to me, I do understand why he has to say that but it still is on my mind when I go there, anyway I do like the store...
Horrible customer service at this location!!! I will never shop at this location again and because of the bad experience I will think twice about stepping foot inside any other 99cent store. I needed to make a return which were Valentine items... Valentines hadnt passed not to mention I purchased these items yesterday. I after speaking to two employees they called a shift leader who immediately told me I couldnt exchange it get store credit for my items because they are seasonal items. I asked for a manager who came out and apologized and explained there was nothing he could do as he had done an an exchange for a customer previously and had gotten in trouble. The employee who had called him smiled in my face as in she told me I couldnt. As soon as I left I called corporate and the handled my issue with in 5 minutes called the store and explained because valentines had not passed I am eligible for an exchange it store credit. They asked for the manager who would be in so when I went back at 6pm I could speak with him.... Turned out to be the same manager who told me I couldnt do this in the first place. Well 6:09 I walk in to the store and an acting manager MANDY tells me hes not in and she cant process the reversal because she is unaware of the situation. After I explained she stated my because they told me to see that specific manager I had to come back the next day or Monday...after Valentines Day so I explained that. She said well they told you to speak with him and hes not here. Horrible customer service! She then tells me to call corporate again and have them call her so she can handle issue. Im wasting my time but I still go and call and guess what customer service is CLOSED til Monday!!! My issue is still unresolved and its not about the $8 its about the customer service and the run around and the time thats being wasted. As a manager or acting manager taking ownership of a customer issue thats been escalated to corporate should be huge. Maybe youre not ready to be a manager or acting manager or supervisor because non of you were able to help me.
99 Cent Store was the coolest with their Halloween items!
Man! What a difference a year makes! This store deserved and got the highest rating from me.But now a year later it tanks! Received very rude treatment from a cashier, Lizbeth.On entering this store I was kindly greeted with a welcome from a busy young male cashier. Then treated like yesterday garbage on my exit!This chick Lizbeth refused to say hello in return or even inquire if I wanted my purchases bagged. She could plainly see that I had way too much to carry out to my car without them being in a bag.I said a greeting to her first since she rudely ignored me while talking in loud Spanish to the customer behind me in line.She shoved the receipt at me and didnt say anything. So I paused for a moment and said, thank you to her as she continued her loud conversation in Spanish with the woman behind me.This kind of behavior is unacceptable! And I definitely will not be returning to this dump!! Besides, the folks over at Dollar Tree are so much more professional and nicer!
Isles fairly neat and kept clean. Shelves stocked regularly. Nice store but not everything is 99¢ anymore. They have items for $1.99 to $4.99 now so watch the price tags closely when shopping.
Staff were friendly but items were incorrectly priced . An item was in the 99 cent section but rang 3.99 not good . Will not go back to this store .manager did not handle my concern to my satisfaction.
This 99 cents store is wonderful they have great deals one example today I bought a Mega Pack 22 oz Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh sandwich meat pack for 1 dollar just because it expires in almost 2 weeks. I have a big family and this will be gone in maybe 4 days so its a GREAT deal. Also this 99 is the only place I have been able to find my favorite Pine sol cleaner and again just a dollar.
Checkout lines could have been faster but employees are friendly. The store looks overstocked in so many aisles. Hard to make it look organized and clean with that much extra stuff
Store is medium size and it is usually organized very well, only thing is that parking is a little hectic. Shopping center is not made for so much traffic as it only has one way in and one way out. The store is like any other 99 cent store. Great stuff. Great price.
Great store when on a budget
They had a section of candys from the paste Halloween at 2/99€. I asked an asociate that includes the $1.99 ones as he said yes I filled up my cart. At the cashier the price supose to be just the half. They MUST to be specific because the promoción said ONLY THISSECTION.The candies that I got were from THAT SECTION. I just spend my time and they even got mad because people supose to know that.
Well stocked in fruits and vegetables. But I noticed that the prices are substantially higher at this store than others I visited in the past. Not a fan .
I love this 99 Cent Store on Limonite! Its my go-to I dropped in tonight very short line and picked up vegetables Dairy and of course a few beautiful Christmas decorations nicely priced! :-)
They only do exchanges, dont give u ur money back and you have to return item within 9 days or else u dont get nothing back. Dont buy anything battery powered they usually never work I bought a 6 dollar face wash spinner and it didnt work i returned it 9 days later which is the tenth day and I got my broken face wash spinner back. It was in new condition the box and everything and you could tell I never used the spinner but it was one day after and I couldnt return it. Other than battery powered items they have cool things, dont trust battery powered items from the 99 cents store even if they are 6 dollars they usually never work, I learned my lesson.
Not everything is one buck but still good store. You can find good food not only junk. Depend how you look and the price still great.
The store had everything I was looking for, the check out was quick, and the staff was friendly. The only thing I could suggest would be to organize and clean up the aisles. Otherwise a really great store.
I went in the morning and the store was fully stocked and had wonderful fruit and vegetables. The only concern is the parking which is always busy but other than that it is great!
Be careful this place because theyre pretty tricky I even asked two employees or something was 299 and when I checked out it was 399 and when I asked the manager she just looked at me like I was f****** crazy this place is going to lose a lot of business 99 cent store sucks

Its a very nice place and I love going their shopping cuz their prices are reasonable and they have beautiful wonderful staff that are so kind and generous when you go in they greet you in their friendly people I will not go into a store that isnt friendly or is rude 99 Cent Store here is the best to shop at I give them a 5 to a 10 * theyre the best
This place is disgustingly dirty the vegetables are always rotten and everything is a MESS! I would never go to another 99 cents store ever thats the reason why everything there is 99 cents its cheaply made earphones its busted eggs this place is gross and should be a health hazard
Use to love it, but not so much now. Every time you have to wait 6 back in check out line. One checker is not enough for the amount of patrons this store sees.

Countless times, I have requested that they do not put chemicals in the same bag as my food items, but today they did, I didn notice, but when I got home the chemical products had leak onto me food item, sure its only 99 cents, but it the idea of putting chemical products near your food items, also if you do buy glass items they donthe wrap them, they just throw them in the bag, Twice now I brought home broken items

2022-04-05Came to get supplies for my daughters Easter baskets. Never disappointed in what this store has for sale, always plentiful and organized. While at checkout, my daughter began to cry and the cashier with colored hair brought out his handheld fan to distract her. It brought a smile to her face, kept her calm during the entire checkout process and it really made me happy, especially as a new parent.

2021-12-16This place needs to either update their hours or honor them. I really needed something before going to work came at 7:05am saw a female at the register but doors were locked. Another customer pulled up next to me and she got off tried entering the store but it was locked. Employee shows up like a minute after she got back into her car she started to pull out when she realized he was going to go in thinking he might be the person who will open it but no luck. 7:19am I decided to leave too because I needed to go back home to get ready for work ...waste of time and gas trying to depend on the hours that are posted in the website.

2021-12-20This is one of the better stores as far as the .99¢ only franchise goes. They have a lot of products,and this store is clean and doesnt have the funky smell that some stores have. Also,their employees are helpful and courteous,which to me,means alot. And if they dont have something you were looking for,there is a Walmart neighborhood market in the shopping center as well! I like to bring my laundry and utilize the laundromat while I shop,and grab a bite here at Little Caesars,then hit El Michoacan for ice cream before I leave. Its a great place to take care of a few errands in just one stop,which saves a ton of aggravation,and gets me home quicker.
