I do really enjoy Summer zumba class, i was so sad and all other 9 of people who attend Summer’s class when she said she’s not coming any more either Tuesday or Thursday just Saturday, I can’t compare her class with any other Zumba classes provided in this club. You actually needs to come and check other Zumba class and compare the performance and skills. Hope someone can read this comment and keep Summer Zumba class on Tuesday and Thursday
Bring headphones, I didn’t have any and their music is terrible. Great gym compared to many box gyms. Sure, yer gonna get more from a micro gym that caters to your specifics but yer also gonna PAY for it.I just wanna lift in a clean gym thats not hella crowded; I get that here.Ive been to this gym everyday for over a month now and yesterday was the first time I saw a machine with a sign on it. Today it was back in use. Bathrooms are always clean...less than perfect hardware but yeah, everything works and its clean. Occasionally there is a clogged drain. But having witnessed some weird sh** going on in gym bathrooms is there any wonder?Front desk staff is always beautiful and chipper. Im a little shy and dont really respond, but I love hearing their greetings and have a nice days when I leave. Sometimes, its the best part of my day.Oh, and the BEST part? You. This gym loves you. Yes, you.So stop shopping reviews. THIS GYM HAS IT ALL.
Ive been coming to this place for 5 years and although there is faulty equipment at times (rarely), I have never had a problem with the staff nor getting my workouts done. The company cant help the members actions, times of arrival or cleanliness. At times it is crowded but shouldnt every successful business have that issue? I wish however the shower and bathroom areas were maintained (cleaned) more often due to the amount of foot traffic in and out of the locker room and Spa area. Bottom line: if youre focused on working out and getting the job done the minor issues that you may find can easily be overcome by getting results.

I have been a member of this gym since it opened. When it did it was an outstanding facility!! However, I have watched it steadily decline over the years, in almost every way - outdated equipment, cleanliness, quality of membership, etc. The staff continues to be friendly and courteous and I do not believe they are the problem. I believe Corporate Management is responsible for this decline and their unwillingness to invest in this particular facility!! -- When I go to the 24 Hour Fitness in Roseville or Citrus Heights - these facilities are continuously updated and much cleaner with a more varied quality of membership! If the Antelope facility was not so close to me, I would regularly go to one of the other facilities. However, at this time I dont use the pool, sauna, showers or locker room and only occasionally the restroom. Corporate needs to do some much overdue updating to the facility and seek to draw in more varied clientele. If money is the issue, and I believe it is to a great extent, I believe updates and improvements would increase their business greatly!! They really need to look at the growth thats taken place in Antelope, CA and decide whether they want to invest in the potential for higher earnings, increased membership, etc. I fully believe, its only a matter of time before another similar facility will open in this same general area and 24-Hour Fitness in Antelope will be forced to close their doors due to their inability to compete with a new, updated facility.
Dirty and unprofessional customer service. The child care smells like pee and the staff that takes care of the children are very rude and unprofessional. One of the girls named Lania was the worst, she mistreated my child and acted like she never wanted him there. She deserves to be fired and never work with children. The entire gym looks and smells terrible, bathrooms are falling apart as well. And I have no words for the sauna and steam room. The only thing I liked about this gym are the x group class instructors . Joined life time and definitely worth the money that I spend there. The only reason I even came to this gym was close location. Glad I cancelled!

The 24 Hour Fitness in Antelope is absolutely disgusting!!! I dont understand how such a reputable company have such a run down facility. The showers are extremely dirty and gross. Pool area is disgusting there is build up all around the sides and corners that are not properly cleaned and stink. Ive seen cockroaches in the showers, pool area and locker areas. Many lockers are broken and unusable. Sauna has HORRIBLE SMELL!!!! Steam room is extremely run down and stinks!!! Who the hell cleans this place and why is this facility maintained in such a poor manner?
24 hours fitness antelope charged me for TWO memberships for 3 months! they refuse to stop the auto draft on my account. This is my first time joining 24 hour fitness. I will NEVER do it again I have filed a compliant with the Better Business Bureau. I can put up with the broken equipment and dirty bathrooms because the group classes and instructors are great but when they cant be trusted to do what they are supposed to do thats TERRIBLE. WHOEVER runs this business has no integrity and i refuse to give them anymore of my money even it it means closing my bank account. Take my advice and DONT join this gym....now to move on to my YELP review!

This is the worst unclean gym I have ever seen. Sauna is always up for maintenance to preserve electricity on weekends. The showers and steam room smells especially. It smells like soggy wet gym clothes that were accidentally left in your bag. thats what it smells like. So I doubt that its good for your lungs. do not go here. I did not only go here once. I went there a number of times and they never clean anything.
I have been a member for 15 years, but have started using another facility most of the time. The pool is usually cloudy (its small and the sauna people tend to use it to rinse off). The steam room is generally not working well. The treadmills are frequently broken. One treadmill, which actually works, has had a broken heart rate monitor for about ten years. The music is loud enough in some areas that I cannot hear my own through my earbuds (I rarely see people at ANY gym who do not have their own music - why must it be so loud?). On the other hand, the staff is friendly and the place, with the exception of the pool area, is usually clean. It is conveniently located, but if I didnt already have a membership, I probably wouldnt get one based on this location.3/5/16 Got in a good workout, despite the gym. It is hard to get to free weights, as a number of young men continuously stand around, talking. In the 30 minutes I was in the free weight area, not a single one of them picked up a weight. I can understand talking between sets or a quick hello if you havent seen someone in a while, but this was a full-on social hour. After lifting, I needed a treadmill to run on. As usual, many were not fully functional. I found one on which the belt worked, but several buttons were broken. There was litter around the floor.
I was hoping to post some picture of their broken down machines but there isnt an icon to upload them available hhhmmm. For two months now the hip abductor machine has been out and the hamstring curls machine is out. What is the hold up in repairing these machines? The roll of papers are out in the gym floor, the scale in the mens restroom is broken, urinal is broken. This place seems to be falling apart. The front desk clerks have no clue what customer service is either. I would totally give it a five star after the repairs are done, dont care about the clerks. If only 24 hr citrus heights was closer to me I would definitely head there instead of here. Somebody who understands what responsibility is please address these issues.
This gym is really bad.Over priced and very very dirty.Hair stuck to shower walls , garbage on shower flowers,hot tub is filled with dirt filled bubbles,hot tube is never clean and daycare staff are inexperienced to deal with children.FILTH on top of DIRT.This gym is sooo horrible every time I go there I pray I dont leave with MRSA or some other horrible disease. Dont bother asking for management because you will be greeted by a inexperienced ,non qualified, text addicted teenager.I have asked for a regional manger to call me back in order to voice my concerns and none of my calls are returned.Dont waste your money try any other gym than this location. They deserve zero stars.

The manager (pregnant lady) and staff really know how to play people, they will saying anything but not doing, also a black male staff member was rude and didnt care about it.This gym is nothing like others and managers really need to start being managers.Customer services are highly recommended it.I DO NOT RECOMMEND, and that why i changed to California Family Fitness.
I had a very positive experience. I met with Christina the mgs. She was friendly professional and knew her stuff! She was interested in my goals and pointed out equiptment for those needs. Broken equiptment? Didnt see any but all gyms with that much use are bound to have breakdowns.Bathrooms maybe perceived as dirty b/c gyms with indoor pools have that smell.Check it out
Its an O.K gym. Bathrooms do have a smell, some of the hand sanitizer never gets replace, and dumbells are usually laying around. Some staff in the front desk are rude and on their phones. I do have to say this has been the only gym Ive seen their staff just standing around oh and on their phones.But if you live near by and need a gym to work out this is the place.
This gym gives an old feel, I think people are taking that as dirty. The restroom (seldom used ), shower facilities (never used ), sauna (twice used ), and pool (never used) need to be cleaner. Equipment wise and workout area wise the gym is pretty good. I can get a solid workout plan in.
They need to change their name to 20 hour fitness, since they now close at midnight...Also, they have no Olympic plates or dead lift platforms. If you want to dead lift, just find an open area and steal a bar from some unused machine. You will be using hex plates and have to reset your form every rep because the plate will roll forward or backwards since they have corners, unless you do touch and go.Trash gym, not worth it unless you get the Costco 2 yr membership.
I had a really sad personal problem and went to cancel my membership with my daughter. I explained it to them and they cancelled the membership. After that they still charging my daughter because I didnt specifically say I want to cancel her too even though we just have one account. Its ridiculous because she is only 13 and she doesnt have a credit card. I thought they cancelled both of us. They charged her even though we cancelled/stopped going and they didnt want to refund until i called the bank. They didnt care about our serious problem. I felt so upset with the whole situation.
Not the best 24 hour fitness out there. Bathrooms are usually dirty, shower heads all messed up. Not all the work out equipment works, staff is alright as well (some super helpful, others not really). Worked out here for a while when work was near by, and not missing the location after leaving

Although posted at the entrance and thru out the facility that a mask is required, me and one other person wore a mask while working out and the desk personal had mask on but some had their nose exposed and one had their mask on their neck. I didnt feel safe while working out.
Its way too warm inside, i have found numerous treadmills that dont work, there are always weights lying everywhere to trip over. I appreciate the cleaning crew trying, but they get in the way and the chemicals they use are toxic and make it hard to breathe.Still no wifi, seriously?Also, whats with the girl at the desk huddled under her blanket in pjs lying down in the chairs? Not cool.Had to cut my workout extra short tonight and leave with my towel held to my face! Really hoping not to get a migraine from the toxic chemicals theyre cleaning the entry way with. Horrible!
The worst gym where I’ve ever been ! It’s so dirty and smelly inside ,there is the only ONE shower where hot water is. I don’t talk about swimming pool , where the chlorine literally hurts your eyes. Sorry friendly stuff , it’s everything everything what you have .
Clean facilities, nice swimming instructor for the kids was filling in from Elk Grove. Looking forward to meeting the kids full time instructor.
I really enjoy this 24! Ive been to many 24 hour fitness gyms and one is a lil gem hidden in Antelope. Dont listen to be bad reviews.... its not run down at all! Its a nice 24! I hate how they are remodeling the newer 24s so uncomfortable and overcrowded! Thank you for leaving us this lil nugget! -Your new customer!
Great gym but a bit pricey unless you buy the 2 year pass at Costco then the price is a good deal. It comes out to be about $399 for 2 years instead of paying the $100 start up fee and $39 a month.

I was considering on to become a member here at this Gym after what happend i will be coming somewhere else. i first went online to check out the classes that you have which i like so i decided to give it a try. So i side to get a free gest pass and i went in 7/15 to take the cardio class at 9am. But the girl in the morning told me that there was no sales personal to give me the pass Im going to have to pay to get in. Which i did and she said that i will get my money back ones Sales comes in. I went in to the class got out but for some reason Adam was really busy and could not help so he took my # down and he said he was going to call me which he did. so i went back again the next fallowing Sat to get my money back and the girl told me that a Manager will call me to give me back my money and Manager never did call. But i got a call back from Adam saying that this time he will make an appointment and he did for 10am on 7/29. But i got there 5 min. before and he never made it in.
So today 5/5/18 I came into the gym to add my girlfriend to my membership, and ADAM the sales rep/manager! acted really rude and he didnt help me at all, it was going to cost me almost a $100 to add her.. He said it was cause first last month and a bunch of nonsense, and since Im a member since 2014 I wanted to get a good work out but he (ADAM) wanted $20 for my girlfriend to go in with me he denied a free pass, and therefore Im canceling my membership with them...bad service and outdated equipment...went to Planet Fitness it costed me $1 for me and $1 for my girlfriend and the first month for both of us was $20 plus 2 a total of $22 and now we both have our own membership, I wanted to stay at 24 hour fitness but ADAM messed it all up, will call their corporate office to cancel my membership.
This 24HRS, 7905 Walerga Rd. Antelope, CA 95843. i have been member of this for 6 years now, but looks like now no body cares whats going on in here, there is no management. 1st steam-room is not been working for almost for a month now.2nd, water fountain filter has not been changed for over a year now, it been showing red light for 3months now.3rd, there are 2-3 TVs not been working for a long time.One of my main reason i been going to a gym is for a steam room, i can not believe 24 HRS has no management to take care of these issues. Poor Poor Poor management.
Unfortunately I can not give more than one star to this branch do to poor service on most of the time short of soap in shower area and mens locker sinks, most of the time very dirty bathrooms, most of the time dirty water in hot tub., and most of all the music it *is Rap Junk they play day and night and it has no connection with mood of exercising.The Star is only for the staff in general.

You dont get much for what you pay for. Overpriced, broken equipment, unhelpful staff. All of this eventually lead to me leaving for a better gym. Turns out they charged me for 2 months after I cancelled. Deplorable!

I have paid my bill multiple times at different locations with no problems. At this location there is a man at the front desk who acted like he didnt know what he was doing he just didnt want to help me I dont know why but he just didnt want to help me.
It was fine but I wish they would enforce the wear a mask policy. About half the members had their mask pulled down some others had no mask on at all.
Almost no one is warring face masks or any type of face cover during workouts...And nobody cares... what’s the point in appointments and disinfection...
Never ending problem with empty soap dispenser s and toilet paper for stalls. Members shouldnt have to supervise staff on what needs to be done.

It has a nice pool and nice people working out. They asked questions to get to know what kind of work out you might need and it doesnt feel judge-y if you are over weight.

We really only wanted to use the pool and hot tub we gave this gym a chance but every time we went it was so dirty both cloudy and just gross feeling when you step in and the locker room was just as bad its just not a comfortable experience for the price they charge it should be flawless extra star is for the manager refunding some of my money not all but some so yeah I will be going to easter seals

2022-07-01I got the year membership, and honestly I love the equipment, but the cleanliness of the gym is bad. More cleaning stations should be placed so people can clean their machines. Planet fitness has staff that cleans the whole gym at least twice a day, and their bathrooms are amazing compared to the EDC-like bathrooms here at this 24hr. Also, once you walk in, the smell of the gym hits you right away, maybe they need to find a way to circulate the air inside better? Aside from that, machines are awesome, more squat racks would be nice especially since the kids like to reserve it and do one set every 30 minutes, pretty ridiculous.

2022-05-05Super hot and humid, no air circulation. The equipment always smells like asparagus & urine. Plates are always super sticky. I registered because my old gym closed too early, come to find out this gym closes at 8-10 pm and is not 24/7. I really regret coming here.

2022-05-04This gym used to be my favorite. It was always clean, weights put away (mostly) in the proper spots.Recently, its been flooded with disrespectful high-school kids who take forever on equipment and dont put away their weights. They hold rack and equipment for their friends even though people have been waiting.If youre a professional wanting to get in a good workout within an hour, Id go to the roseville gym and avoid this one.Literally as I was writing this review I saw one kid standing on the shin pad of the leg extension as his friend was using the machine. Super unsafe.

2022-03-193 stars for horrible water taste, way overdo cardio equipment maintenance, overall cleanliness (left a water bottle, was there 24 fitness hours later), and its a hot gym. Other than the staff is nice, it does the job with no frills. Its no Folsom or Downtown location, Ill tell you that. Its not even Roseville, although Roseville is even more behind on cardio equipment maintenance.

2022-02-12Nice gym, staff, clean, just need to expand their hours, people from roseville and other 24 hr fitness come to the antelope location, expanding the hours even if not 24 hrs but past 9 pm would be helpful, at least midnight closing would be fine!

2021-09-22I’d give this place less than 1 star if I could. I went because I had a three day free trial to check out the gym, but it seemed the front desk lady was already upset just seeing me walk in? I told her I had a guest pass and before I even finished my sentence she told me to type in my code on a keyboard that only had numbers. I tried to explain to her my code had letters in it but she kept cutting me off. Just extremely rude for literally no reason. I’m honestly confused because I don’t understand where the attitude even came from. Anyways, the equipment was fine, but definitely never trying out 24 hr again lol.

2021-10-03The name of the gym is 24 hour fitness. It says it right there above the entrance in big blue letters. They close at 10pm. The girl signing me up (amber) said they were open 24 hours when I asked. She lied to me. Imagine naming your business after the one thing you refuse to do.

2017-10-12I joined this gym above all other gyms because of staff and facility combined with long term affordability. The older, negative reviews on this place were with previous management. I could tell after speaking with many staff there and seeing the gym overall. New management was confirmed when I asked. I chose a busy time to do my introduction and there was equipment available and a great environment. Team members are so helpful. Adam M, Ahmad and Carlos were great to talk to and didn’t feel like a sales pitch. They enjoy helping. There’s a really tall guy who is also awesome who was on night shift but I forgot his name. Felt bathrooms and showers were reasonable. This is a lower price gym striving to provide expert service. I am extremely happy. Great gym.
