I decided to quit 24 hour fitness because they’re not open 24 hours any more. I looked for a gym that’s is open 24 hours. I ended up signing up to eos in Santa Ana. I miss 24 hour. But if they don’t open 24 hours ill just stay away.
I have been a 24hrs fitness member for years never complained about the equipment been in poor condition place not been clean. But one thing that is really disappointing is theyre not open 24hrs, A lot of ppl like me got the gym membership for that reason!! All Im saying a 24hrs fitness should be a (24 HOURS fitness) be more honest with that. Sadly like everyone else I have to start looking for options 😕 😔

They keep it very clean, there are bottles of Disinfectant we can clean after we use a machine. One hour is a little too short, would love to have at least 1 hour 15 minutes.Great to get to workout again.. would love to use the jacuzzi, sauna, pool, and shower
I didnt see the whole building but the fact that it wasnt teeming with a bunch of newbie, January 1st hobby lifters was a big plus
Very unprofessional location. I signed up for a free 3 day trial on the 24 Hour Fitness website and had ever intention to sign up for a full membership once I was given a chance to check out the facility. Upon entering, I was immediately told that the location would not honor the free 3 day trial and that the only way to work out that day was to sign up for a membership! I was so upset by the bait and switch, and the pretty blatant used car salesman tactics that I just walked out.
Some machines could be updated as some pieces are broken or missing or grips need to be replaced. Gym is clean and there is a good amount of supplies for cleaning after using the machines.
This 24 Hour Fitness needs some updates, and even with the time to clean and fix things during Covid quarantine/closures, nothing seems to have been done. The staff is very friendly as you walk in and will answer any questions you have, but I never see them walking around, cleaning, or checking on things, even during Covid. 24 Hour Fitness claims to have put in more cleaning stations, but I dont see any that werent there before. So you still have everyone sharing 1-2 cleaning solution bottles, and people still arent really cleaning up after themselves. In general Im kind of over 24 Hour Fitness and will be making a switch to a different gym when my membership expires; most likely to Chuze Fitness, which is just down the road, essentially catty-corner to this 24 Hour Fitness. Your would think with another gym right in the area they would do more to keep their clients, but I just dont see it there. Its been fine here, but Im counting down the months until my membership expires... I want a gym that has more pride in their appearance and takes the health and safety of their clients more seriously.
You need to pay more if you want to go from county to another ... while with la fitness i moved from san bernardino county to orange county for the same price
How is Planet Fitness and Chuze open 24 hours, and the Only gym CALLED 24 HOUR FITNESS CLOSES AT 9PM, and 4 locations that close at 11pm. Change the name to 9pm fitness already and stop with the false advertising.
This gym is simply one of the best, yes it may need improvement on equipment, but I say its still my favorite gym due to service, members and close to home. Crew here are chill and always welcome you, they recognize you and always keep you up to date about sales. I been coming here for about 2yrs and you start seeing familiar faces and meet new friends. Its not the cleanest or dirtiest gym, but I mean youre there to workout and get drenched in sweat, so as long as equipment works, Im good.
Well first time Ive been here since they closed down the gyms. Every hour they close the gym down a half an hour to clean. That means they kick everyone out. And then they let gym members back in a half an hour later. I wish it would just clean as they go and not kick everyone out. Sauna steam room pools not open. People dont have to wear masks once they start working out which makes me nervous. I wish they would wear masks Id like to see this covid-19 end.
Not sure what all the fuss is about. Gym is clean, lockers are clean, showers are fine. Maybe the detractors posting here are employees from competing gyms , or maybe they were home-schooled and the gym there was a little neater. Maybe not. I appreciate a clean facility and this gym has been excellent every time Ive visited.
My fathers doctor recommended he join a local gym, I took him in a few minutes ago to check out the pool and jacuzzi.There was a bunch of people behind counter doing nothing except a girl told us we needed to fill out a liability questionnaire, which would take a couple of minutes. Which is understandable.Manager (claimed) said its a 40 minute process. We were already filling out the paperwork but we told him we dont have 40 minutes.Then he wanted to show us memberships. Again we explained we just wanted to see the pool. Nothing more at the time because we already decided to join. I just needed the ok from my dad to start his membership when we had time later.You need people on the front counter that have communication skills to adapt to any customer or potential customer, we didnt expect to be heckled by the same type of sales a car salesmen would use.You lost a 15 year member today, and my parents as potential clients. We were extremely disappointed.
This place is disgusting. The dry sauna smells terrible, the steam room door is broken and doesnt shut all the way. Machines are missing pins so you cant adjust the weight. Dumbbells all over the place and disorganized. Bathroom has a broken urinal is unsanitary. No one at the front desk. This is the worst 24 I have been to, they need to change Management ASAP!Update 11/10/19: Sauna door is fixed
This gym is ahight. The vibe is good, thats the most important key. Easy to park. The staff might pretend they dont see u but who cares Im there to get my money. And theres a few baddies sprinkled in there. Great basketball gym. Pool, spa, and sauna all mediocre
This is the most poorly managed 24 Hour Fitness I have ever been to. Employees are rarely, if ever, seen cleaning or re-racking weights, despite hourly intercom reminders for them to do so. Front desk folks are hit and miss on greeting you upon entry. Weights are so poorly organized that a 60 min workout will often stretch to 75 min due to searching for equipment. Lack of management has permitted a totally degenerative gym culture in which patrons care very little for the equipment and people around them. Despite being a regular here, I have no idea who the manager is.
I’ve been to this gym a couple of times. Every time I’m here, it’s over crowded and lacks the weights I want. The people that go to this gym don’t have the manners to place the weights back in the area that they found them. The staff lacks the will to try and enforce it. Also, you have to check out the weight clamps from the front desk. My sense is that the clamps kept getting stolen by the gym goers so they had to. I guess most of the problems I came across were due to the people using the gym and the staff not being engaged.
Dec 30, 2016 I just recently join I think its a great gym... one thing like most people is that the bathroom need to be worked on a bit to look nice but I dont spend my time in the bathroom so I dont really care... I like the pool, staff is friendly, and machines are great I even like the cross fit station in the entrance. Whats funny is that it seems everyone segregated like the cardio people down stairs, muscular people up stairs, all the old guys in the sauna,jacuzzi, and showers. The basketball court is cool but that aint my cup of tea also theres a space upstairs thats quiet that you can use to work out in just as long as there isnt a class going on. It looks like a dance studio wood floors and mirrors.That machines are clean I see the cleaning ladys at night hand washing them and its not there sanitizer bottle and Towels to clean the handlebars. The reviews on here must be old because I just recently join and I like it.
The gym is very spacious with great variety of the weight machines and equipments, basketball court and swimming pool. Swimming pool is very well-sized but but slightly colder compared to other 24 pools.The lockers and showers are not the best. Sauna and steam rooms are very small.
The gym was packed in the middle of this pandemic and they ran out of hand sanitizer. When I asked what happened they said they ordered it, but it hasnt come in yet. It seems wildly unprofessional to be this unprepared in the middle of a pandemic. Would not be surprised if people get COVID from this very location.
Very close to our house, but we dont go here anymore. Equipment is old and not routinely maintained. At times theres not even a sign to tell you its down until you get on it! Some of the pins for the weight machines are from other machines, and some are bent! Other 24 Hour Fitness gyms has had the new Hoist machines for a few years now, but not this location for some reason.The outside area isnt the best either. We see shady people/low-lifes just hanging out on the side of the building... and thats in the morning!
This gym sucks, i can never find the correct weights either from people collecting them for their workout or just not putting them back. Ive never seen staff picking up or cleaning anything. the only good thing about this place is the squat racks.
Ive been to many gyms but this is the dirtiest Ive seen, the bathrooms, and the showers are always dirty. Air dryer is been down for a month now. Soap dispensers are empty most of the time. Faucets are broken, old, and nasty! I go at different times and Ive never seen it clean. Machines stay down/ broken for weeks.
Michael supervisor awful public relations customer service poor management ability at 4:00 p.m. refuse 3-day trial free pass stating its now $15 even though I told him Ill do it in front of you he said no terrible public relations he went his own corporate offerings this guy is terrible public image for 24 hour fitness and no customer service public relations ability to understand and compromise corporate offerings even though they offer on their website he doesnt obey it
The only helpful staff members are the front staff, janitorial staff and Jason. It was an absolute headache to cancel my membership. I will say the lead manager Tony was the biggest liar and disappointment. I’m pretty sure I can do his job better than him. Does this place know what integrity means?

One of the most poorly maintained 24hr locations Ive ever been to. Wads of hair on the floor, dated equipment, broken drinking fountain, gross bathrooms, and of course - fresh out of paper towels. Basic sanitation and upkeep is needed badly here.
This gym is soooo grosssssss. Especially the Bathroom. hasnt been cleaned in 3 weeks.
Horrible gym...So dirty. Machines are always broken! The showers are clogged. Currently 2 of the dryers in the womens bathroom are broken and 1/2 of the huge mirror is shattered with glass everywhere! It is a joke! They wont fix anything but yet they always have more and more people coming in. I guess that is what you get for a cheap gym, except it will cost you $10 every time you want to bring your 2 children..so that could add up to $50 a week..Awesome right!?
Pros: Location has easy access to highway, its a bit smaller but they have almost everything you need.Cons:1.Was kicked off a machine by a personal trainer because he set up and was waiting for his clients. We were 3 out of 4 sets and we had been on it for about 10-15 minutes. We are paying members as well...and you kicked us off because another member paid more to have your help? Dont set up an area and walk away for 10-15 minutes. They need to rethink where they do the personal training because this inst the first time I was asked to stop my work out so the trainer could use it for other people.2. Across the street from a McDonalds lol.3. Snobby employee who signing me up for a membership. I asked for a low cost one because I am on a budget and this is all I could afford. She continued to sign me up for one $20 more then the one I wanted (ended up cancelling and signing up with someone else who did the right thing), and then tried to sell me a personal trainer package for $200-300 on top of that...like were you not listening? Then of course the personal questions of why I want a gym membership. I am embarrassed of my weight and I want to lose it thats why i am here, but to be told that my swimming and aquatic plans were cheating and not the right way to go is just rude. im big, i have joint issues because of that, and I am listening to my doctor until i lose enough weight to do harder things. Working my way up ya know? not some receptionist telling me how to do it..OH and the best part...yeah if you work out for 1 hour you can eat another 300 cal so all day like 1000 cal right?....that is what she said, I can not make that up. she didnt know a damn thing about health and wellness and starving yourself on a 1000 cal diet while exercising is not the way to go.
Im going to have to disagree with the bad reviews below. Being a resident at this gym for over 7 years, there has been some problems in the past, but it is finally undergoing renovation. The gym is new outside with freshly painted asphalt for parking aesthetics but the inside as well. The swimming pool and sauna have been redone with new floors and walls. The 1st floor has more equipment especially in the training area including but not limited to: kettle balls, medicine balls, sand bags, sand balls, dumbbells, and a TRX system. 2nd floor added an additional cross fit style exercise area with squat stations, monkey bars, and special 45 lb plates with an iron core for the typical lunkers. The basketball court is in the process of being renovated as well.Ive also signed up for training and it is well worth the price. I had a severe case of runners knee 3 years ago and walking downstairs was occasionally painful. After about 6 months of rehab and stability readjusting, I was able to run a half marathon in November 2015 and was able to do 3 sets of 10 reps on the incline leg press with six 45 lb plates. By the way, Im only 130 lbs.
This place is very dirty. Staff doesnt seem to clean at all, but the patrons dont clean after themselves either. Used paper towels thrown everywhere, weights never re-racked, and overall trash like empty water bottles left on the floor. Avoid if possible.
Worst workout experience ever. Apparently this gym is BYOP (bring your own pin) because most of the machines do not have pins to select the weight that you want. Also, dont even think about using any dumbells between 5 and 40 pounds, because they dont even have them. When I first walked in the guys working at the front desk were checking out girls that walked by and making comments among themselves. I went to ask one of them a question and I got the attitude like I was interrupting him. The kind of members that this gym attracts are the guys that are way to concentrated on themselves to notice how much they are getting in everyones way. The whole enviornment gave me the impression of what it must be like to work out in a prison gym. This gym needs to be shut down permanently, or at the very least long enough to do a complete over haul of staff and facility.
Not the worst gym I have been too, but the the supersport in Irvine is by far my standard. Weights are always scattered about. You can go in and have a work out by just re racking all the weights that people leave scattered about, might actually do that at one point. Just saw right now why so many people leave weights scattered, the personal trainers dont even have there clients re rack the weights, shaking head.
Not a very good gym to go to. Several other reviews are true: the staff does not clean up properly and seem to be mainly on their phones, staff is usually not very friendly or professional, and weights are all over the place due to be not being re-racked by staff.
This is one of my preferred gyms. It is always clean and well maintained. I can get in, work out and be gone on my schedule. I have never had to wait for a machine. Staff are friendly.
I am glad the gym are reopened. Most the gym goer are wearing mask. We must obey the law to keep us are healthy and continues to fight the virus. Someday we will no more wearing mask.

I am very disappointed at the filth at 24 hours fitness.I made some suggestions but NOTHING IS ever done!Same broken clogged shower heads. Same filth on the floors.Same empty soap dispensers. Same scum floors in the showerarea. Same 30 odd lockers always taken with permanent locksby the homeless. Suggested installing a swim trunk ringer to drytrunks. NOTHINGSuggested numerous times to repaint the old red floor to match the24 hour fitness logo to brighten and clean the place up.NOTHING ZERO ZIP ZILCH GETS DONE! This 24 hour fitness is anear den of apathy.I wrote tocorporate nicley suggesting these repaitrs. NOTHING!I called the Mangers which are like revolving doors. A new oneeach month NOTHING. I left suggestions in the suggestion box.They probably end up in the round file. I spoke to employeesand the politely nod, yes and agree, nothing is done except theykeep the doors open. This is my first time joining 24, not impressedat all.
Gets the job done most of the time. bathrooms are disgusting. weights are everywhere. this morning there was barbell plates leaning up against the leg extension and hip machines, nowhere near the barbells. good luck finding the dumbbells you need.
Equipment is so old, one of the machines broke on me, thank God my boyfriend was there, otherwise I would have crushed my spine. The whole gym is filthy, no etiquette what so ever. This gym needs a renovation so very bad.
Dirth, showers do not work, no soap , employees are always on the phone texting. Very unfortunate that such a good location is so bad operated . There some new equipment but one big issue is the dumbells, there are always some missing from 5 to 40 bounds. Other then that, Id say the place is alright. Not the best gym but certainly not enough to be shut down, which is an idiotic suggestion.

Staff tried to convince my buddies to buy a 20 dollar 1 day guest pass. They left because thats outrageous, and I approached him and he says oh if they talk to membership they can get a three day guest pass for free. I said why did you tell me 20 dollars for a 1 day? And he denies it. Then he says just go workout, screw your friends. And sits at the desk texting.
Clean, great equipment, its a bit dark upstairs but all in all a pretty good 24hr location.
It only has one drinking fountain upstairs that I found, which was barely working. Weights everywhere, bad placement of machines, definitely not my favorite 24. I left early!
Seriously, I hate that this is the closest gym because everytime I come here theres always something that isnt working, isnt stocked, or has been shut down. People pay 50 a month just to be here and your seriously telling me you guys need a whole year to fix 1 of the water fountains.

In the parking lot there are very rude security. October 8, 2017 it expels clients 24 fitness sport. Me he threatened to call a tow truck if I sit in my car. I explained to him that I have a client 24 fitness sport to which he replied that He he doesnt care. refused to give his name and said that I have no right to complain about it and threatened to make me problem.
The machines are always broken, The locker room is dirty, somebody broke into my locker and stoled my wallet , car key and cell phone. Staff acted like it was no big deal. Cars are being broken into in the parking lot. Lookup crimemapping and type the address...
Horrible place, do not go there! They talk only about money!!!!! I went for three day free pass, but before I can start, they was forcing me to purchase the membership, which I wasn’t ready to do at the moment, then they tell me I can’t try the gym !!!!!!!!! Hot tub doesnt work well ,no towels ,people never shower before getting in the hot tub or poor ,showers dont have hot water ,no safe place to charge a phone
The locker room and gym smelled like it hadnt been cleaned in forever. They also didnt have any stations to refill water bottles except for one that required you to pay for it.
Overall a good gym, equipment, showers, and locker rooms were recently updated, so that should keep this gym looking and working like new for a while.
Sauna and Steam room are always clean. The pool water is semi-warm in this cols weather and fresh. I love the staff!!

Its alright. Basketball court is usually average number of people so that is a nice touch. Usually the basketball courts are so busy you cant even play.
Ive been working out at 24 Hour Fitness for so many years since 1982 used to call Family Fitness Center knowledge 24-hour Center is a great place to work out great employee and great price you can ask more than that you want to be great healthy join 24 Hours Fitness like I am God bless you good luck
The worst 24 location hands down. This place is honestly a dump. The staff is rude and stuck up and most of the machines are broken lmao if I could rate this place 0 stars I would, and not to mention Ive recently became a member for Chuze and I got to say Chuze is by far WAYYYYYY better than this place. Chuze FTW.
Rude! NITE door man will call the cops on you if you talk back to him...name is similar to Brian Haas. Weirdo...likes to be sitting down on his computer all nite hacking into the system...he hates me because I figured him and his girlfriend out. She used to work there and tried to get me band. But the truth came out and fired her and 24 hour paid for my membership for a full year....But her little crimemee sill works there.

Bathrooms are dirty often. The soap dispensers run out of soap in the showers daily. The management is very poor in this location. That is why I switch to another gym.
It is not near as bad as most of these reviews would have you believe. I went there at rush hour time, yet it was just like any other 24 I have been to. Give it a try, the bad reviews seem to be from another era.

Been going to this gym for close to 3 years now have to say the weights are rarely picked up by staff the restrooms/locker rooms are regularly dirty and out of soap the front desk is left unattended to and generally rude or dismissive to customers often times to busy on there phone to help out I would give it less stars but its not to out of the normal for a 24hour fitness

Poor management. The staff never refill the soap in the showers. Paper towels are always gone. 50% of the treadmills are down and if they work they just stall out.

Took the TKB class here on saturday morning at 9am, loved it. The layout is similar to the rest of the 24s so nothing special there.

Edit 7/22: they still haven’t reloaded their paper towel dispenserTheres a lot of older machines here but they all still work. I visited early after noon today (July 4th) and it was packed. All the paper towel dispensers upstairs were empty which meant lack of sanitation of equipment. Womens bathrooms were in desperate need of service (crumbled tissue paper in the stalls, and poop marks in two of the bowls lol). Upstairs area seems to get crowded easily, and of course people cant read numbers and will put their weights in the wrong spot.
Very disappointed, it is very dirty, very few machines vs the number of people it has. It already needs a good remodel.
I really like that the service is 24 hours, thats how the others should be
It is well conditioned, it has everything to do my routines, only that it is very full regularly and there are people who occupy machines and start watching on cell phones, and there is no space, but other than that everything is fine!

2022-03-20Im new to this gym and location. Showers dont have hot water. Restrooms arent kept up. Lockers are nice. Good amount of machines. Nice staff. Jacuzzi jets are weak.

2022-03-05Everything is okay and parking is not a problem. However, the restroom (Mens) smells unbearable ang may need some extra maintenance.The workout area is placed perfectly and they have a punching bag which other branches may not have.I recommend this place

2022-06-16Out standing morning ladies and gentlemen, let’s start off by saying Let’s go 24 hour fitness members 👊. I am super excited to see everybody potential reaching there goals. I get a rush of energy seeing everybody work. Big thumbs up 👍 to Keith he works overnight sales and service. Keith is very Meticulous in keeping everything organized, I see him throwing out the trash like if his mother told him to throw out the trash NO HESITATION . 24 hours if you reading this he deserves 2 thumbs up a Pat on the back a dinner plate of steak and Asparagus and a promotion 💪🏽.

2022-05-07Signed up no problem . Super helpful but I guess I have to look a certain way to be treated like a customer .Maybe blonde hair , blue eyes? Or maybe just a different shirt but having to be embarrassed by an employee because he doesn’t believe me that I could actually go to such a high end establishment.I still thanked him for the help signing up but just could not get over being racially profiled .Maybe not even racially but classist for sure .Don’t come here if you look poor or a little dark .I’ll be sure to wear my best clothes next time .

2022-01-19My credit and debit card was stolen from my wallet which was inside a locker. I didn’t notice until later that day when my bank reported fraudulent use on my cards. Will not be going to this gym anymore under the suspicion that someone is going around stealing from the lockers and locking it again as if no one has ever been inside.

2022-03-06Plenty of weights,equipment,basketball court, pool,sauna and Jacuzzi. The only set back is the lack of instruction for the equipment( treadmill how to set time /distance and adjust incline,same for the bikes) The stairmaster,bike machine and some of the nautilus could use some maintenance too. Other than that the staff are friendly and helpful at the desk and theres plenty of disinfectant to go around for everyone.

2019-05-31This is a decent 24. It lacks the bells and whistles of the better ones and no towel service, but it gets the job done for a workout. I was here mid morning so it wasn’t super crowded. The check in staff is friendly and the cardio equipment was all working, a rarity for these heavily used gyms. They offer a filtered water machine to fill up your bottles. The paper towel dispensers are plentiful and all the ones I saw were stocked.My one gripe is the cross fit program has people pushing large objects down the rows between cardio machines. It was weird and blocked aisles. They want the program but don’t have the space so they have cross fitters just fitting wherever they can.
