Average Korean restaurant. Good price, super good prices on selected items on weekdays limited time.
The kimchi stew is tastes like flavored water. I dont understand how a restaurant can screw so badly on something so basic. Imagine a italian restaurant that makes really bad spaghetti. Will never go back.
Their service is the best Ive seen at Korean restaurant! Very attentive and friendly. 낚지전골(octopus short rib hot pot) is not spicy, but the 낚지돌솥비빔밥(hot pot rice with octopus) was red and pretty good (not too spicy). You can ask them for a hot sauce to make it more spicy.
My first time being here, I had one dish that Bulkogi was pretty decent meal. I am gonna try other dish such as Mandu gungol because its their specialty.
The place has pretty good side dishes. Fried tofu, spinach, kimchee, green onion kimchee, potato salad, acorn jelly, and korean seafood juhn. The kojijang soup wasnt bad or good, just ok. Thier beef jongul soup wasnt great just medium too. The service there seemed decent too. Going back maybe once every 2 month probably.....
I enjoy there food it is just too good to resist on how good their food is. If I had the chance I would want to come back here more often.
Pretty good soondubu, but I like Kaju better. More menu choices than average, excellent friendly service, and a very authentic feel with the metal chopsticks and spoons in a container on the table just like in the Kdramas! Plenty of seating with no wait time, unlike Kaju. The Korean family I went with loved everything on the menu here. Ill be back!
This is the best home feeling restraunt I have tried around this area. I want to go back for their yuk su Bulgogi next time. It tasted better than Korea!!

The taste of the food is mediocre, but there are many side dishes and it comes out neatly.The staff are friendly and the intellect is clean.Willing to revisit.
It was a my first time there and I ordered the cold noodle combo.The cold noodle was not the best but average.The beef bulgogi was not good at all. It was very dry and no flavors.I paid $25 for that lunch and not worth it.Naengmyeon came in at $4.99, and I was sorry to only order naengmyeon, so I ordered a bulgogi combo, but the bulgogi was completely tasteless. I felt bad while eating. The naengmyeon is not special, but I thought it would be delicious if you ordered it for $4.99.But I had to pay $25 to get out. Combo is over $25 if you tip it after tax of $21.I didnt feel good, but I came out thinking it was my fault for not looking at the price properly.
Today, I ate 🎶 Bulgogi in broth 🎵 with my relatives. 🦆Its a great place to dine with family, friends, etc., as a group. The restaurant is spacious and there are plenty of seats. From the old) Hwanghae-do restaurant to the famous restaurant 🌱Nevergreen🌲pine restaurant⚘. It was hearty and delicious.👍❣
(Updated 10/28/23) Changed owners. Friendly but poor food. Side dishes are too sweet and naengmyeon is expensive. Atmosphere is good to sit for a long time at step-meetings or class reunions. Overall price has risen.
Former) A Korean restaurant opened in Anaheim by the owner of Garden Grove, Hwanghae Province, under the name of Pine Tree. The taste is good, the service is good, and it is still the same. In particular, the lunch special, which is the best value for money, is very attractive because of its flawless taste and reasonable price. The beef bulgogi and the hot pot are excellent without any flaws. Also good with rice. I write it in Korean so that only Koreans can see it.Yesterday evening around 8pm, I posted pork bulgogi and pork cutlet.I go home and eat.1) Chopsticks Napkin Nothing2) The rice was covered in the microwave yesterday (as if it was turned too much), so it was really hard, so I ate it with Hetbahn.3) Food is just so-so4) The pork cutlet costs $17, but it is really hard and tasteless.I will never go again.Even if its food, its not really the rice.

Tonkatsu is the worst. Dont eat tonkatsu here. So far, Ive eaten pork cutlet every 3 months, but its too hard and dry, and the meat is too thin, which is the worst for children to eat. When I ordered, I asked not to deep-fry it, but it was too deep-fried and I threw it away. I also left out the tonkatsu sauce and didnt add it. The gopchang hotpot was not as good as before, and there was no taste. rain.

Its a restaurant I go to occasionally, but its so disappointing!Whether its the air conditioner in hot weather or the fact that your whole body is covered in sweat while eating, its hard to even eat! In hot weather to save on electricity billsThe two owners and housewives do the service, so they dont care at all, and the amount of bulgogi in broth has been cut in half!So there was a reason why the guests didnt come!Looking forward to going back to the beginning!

I didnt disappoint the expectations of the pine tree I found after a long time. After receiving well, I even changed my mood from being depressed by corona. The side dishes at this house are really awesome
The outdoor place is small with Covid19, but the staff is relatively friendly. Three and a half stars, two different levels of food. The miso stew is sweet and the smell of the fish is a little...
In general, the side dishes are poor, and above all else, just like ordering from a robot... I dont know if you used all of the minimum comfort and softness you need to use to greet guests as a seasoning, but I felt chilled anyway. If you cant prepare the order yet, turn around in an instant with the sound of a cold wind blowing and go to Hamhung...It made me feel like I was being retaliated against for not ordering quickly. In spite of the busy situation with only three or four tables of customers, I was a little embarrassed by the strange position that the customer had to wait for the mercy of the restaurant owner, not the king.I believe that a restaurant is not just a place to serve food.Since the first impression is made, the taste of the food can only be...I felt sorry for myself because I felt like I was eating a hospital meal while eating to set the mood for my acquaintances.
I especially recommend Gopchang Hotpot, Broth Bulgogi, Wheat Cold Noodles!...And if you put the dumplings in the Gopchang Hotpot, it is even more delicious!...

2022-06-07Been here couple times. Great for group, clean and very tasty. On follow up visit with my parents near 90yrs, their opinion were very high with quality of food, service and cleanliness. Staff were bilingual and recommend sharing with non Koreans of ethnic dishes.

2021-01-18Pretty authentic korean restaurant frequented by o.g. Koreans :)Tried their haemil zzim (tree garden special). Not cheap but enough portion for 5-6people honestly.The seafood and vegetable quality in the jjim is fresh, the sauce is tasty (adjust spiciness - I recommend regular). I like their side dishes as well - ask for refills :)

2021-11-30I normally dont write reviews and keep it to myself but wow. I have never had such bad nengmyun (cold noodles) in my life here. The broth is rancid, and no amount of vinegar or mustard was able to make the broth palatable. The food here was delicious when it was still the tofu house. Im not sure what the heck happened but I will probably never visit this place again.Hugely dissapointed, I couldnt even finish the food. Will avoid at all cost.

2019-03-17Good Korean food but a bit pricey. I ordered the Beef Short Ribs soup with Octopus. Broth was delicious and the short ribs were ok, but the octopus was very chewy. It felt like chewing on rubber. The extra small side dishes were limited. Be warned, some servers dont speak English well.
