Great staff members at check in, especially for Kaya, you made us feel very welcome and your enthusiasm speaks volume. I had requested a special arrangement and you immediately took action. You knew I was traveling from a far and quickly took action. The only disappointment that we had was not able to enjoy one of the newer remodeled rooms. The one we had was extremely outdated but overall was liveable. I hope and look forward to next time.
MOST HORRIBLE!!! reserved room months ago for family vacation. Drove 10 hrs with the grandkids and when we arrived they informed us they overbooked and our reservation was cancelled! Had to find another place which in June is pretty scarce.. had to pay double the price ($1300) for a room elsewhere! To make it even worse at 4:30 pm we are still waiting to check in! Very nervous and mad grandma here and very sad and frustrated grandkidsβ¦ oh and they did the same thing to my son and his familyβ¦3 days before! how can this be ok?!!!
The resort was better than I expected. The room we were in was very spacious and had a kitchenette for all our vacation needs. It is also very close to Disneyland. Just be sure to check that the windows are not cracked open with the air conditioner running. With it being so humid in August the AC condensed the humidity in the room and everything felt damp including the bed, but that was our fault not the resort.
Weve stayed here before and its been great. I was reading through the reviews before our most recent trip and I started feeling a little nervous. Our room was a 1 bed rm and it was spacious and was clean... for the most part. Our only issue was the floor. It looks clean and not too worn out but it does need a good cleaning. My toddlers feet were BLACK from walking on the carpet with no shoes on... and then the bathtub would get really dirty because of the dirty feet (they let me have a sponge and cleaner so I could scrub it out). I really think the floors are dirty because of the blacktop parking lot. Everyones shoes bring in all that dirtyness. I once lived in an appt that had the same problem.Anyway, we didnt see any roaches like some peoples reviews suggested we might. Yay! I did get sick of the smell of pot that was always in our hall. Is smoking of any kind allowed? The staff really is the best and the pool is awesome. Stay here... but wear shoes or socks on your room.
My husband and I are very happy with this resort. It is clean and the staff are all polite and helpful. We celebrated our 24 year anniversary here.. They welcomed us with a card, gift bag of candies and sparkling apple cider. The landscaping is beautiful and well kept. The staff is always cleaning and keeping up with day to day work. The gated doors and parking garages along with security are nice to have. The location is close to everything besides Disneyland. This has been one of our best vacations. Thank you.
A true place to call home while being away from your home. The staff were amazing, welcoming you home. The grounds are like walking through an extremely kept mansion garden. The rooms are extremely quiet and comfortable. Frankly I didnt want to leave. We are definitely returning.
If I could give 10 stars I would. We had a great time. The room was perfect for our family. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were also a big hit. This is the older of the two Wyndham properties but it is homely warm and comfortable. We will be staying here again for sure.
This place is well kept! The staff is also very friendly. Our room was CLEAN and spacious & close proximity to the pool. They had a grill right by the pool that was available for use by appt. As well as putters & golf balls for the 9 holes that are on the premises. Doorways are wide enough for wheelchair/power chair access as well.
The bad:Dirty towelsFilthy carpetsFoul smells that lingers in roomThey deflect responsibility for poor housekeeping on guestsRental vehicle was damaged while parked on propertySales pitch at checkinThe good:Accommodated early check-in and late checkoutPrompt replies to guest concerns but poor executionGave an extra 15 min of laundry time after closingOverall an unhappy experience. Dirty. Smelly. Grungy. The property is gated and patrolled by security, but instead of patrolling, they can be seen lounging on benches and tables throughout the property. My rental car was damaged while parked in a guest stall. Every concern was addressed by a βshouldβve told us soonerβ response. As a single mom traveling with three kids, I didnβt feel like it was my responsibility to stop to address the most basic of quality control standards. They are in the middle of renovations, so hopefully some of the sanitary conditions will be improved in the foreseeable future. Unless they are doubtfully able to maintain the new improvements, it will be back to a grungy mess in no time.Donβt waste your time here. Go somewhere else.
Normally this would be a 4 or higher based off past experiences. However due to this trip it is now a 2 at best. Our arrival was after hours, as was planned. Despite having called with special requests a week prior to arrival, as well as prior to close of business the day of our arrival, for a crib for our 2 year old, and that we were checking in late. We were given assurances that the requests had been noted and taken care of. Nothing of the sort was true. There was no crib, the night shift had no idea we were checking in late, no keys were programmed and night shift had no way to make them for us. On top of this, after the night shift got us into our room, my daughter pulled back the bedsheets to find cockroaches in her bed. I am utterly disgusted with the day staff at dolphins cove, however, their saving grace was the night shift worker. He did absolutely EVERYTHING he could to try and make it right, really, the epitome of customer service. I will be calling their main office to give him his praise due.
The suites are roomy and comfortable. The desk staff was kind. The TVs could use updating. Parking was excellent and the cleaning staff very friendly. Its a nice quiet retreat and a good place for families to stay while visiting Disneyland. Also close to Knottsberry farm and many nice beaches.
The staff are amazing. The activities for kids that come with the property is excellent. Game rooms, mini- golf, etc, they had a grocery store and a roller coaster you never leave the property. π . And you get a audacious apartment for cheaper that 75% of hotel rooms around. Thats a no brainer...
Excellent location just down the street from Disney and a few miles from Angels stadium. Friendly, helpful staff. Well maintained property, safe (gated and guarded.) Even covered bicycle parking! Nice pool, well manicured, units with well stocked kitchens. Super comfy beds. Covid guidelines followed. Definitely would stay here again.
We have stayed at this location multiple times and really enjoy it. They have excellent service and the rooms are like little homes away from homes with full kitchens and patios like apartments. They have free dvd rentals, and a large pool and two large jacuzzis, along with free put put golf throughout the grounds. They are walking distance to tons of restaurants and shopping centers. We tend to stay for mini getaways, as we live in Long Beach only 20 minutes from here and like to feel like we are getting away sometimes while still being able to be close enough to friends and family.
First of it was a 2 bedroom 1 bath do you know with 6 people what its like 2. The cabinets were to high dishes were to highIm only 5 ft. I could not reach the bowls and glasses. We had to go a distance for laundry. 3No ice maker had to go outside by the vending. Machines. 4. Taking about vending machines lost money and all the office said they werent responsible for them. We we werent the only ones dissatisfied other member werent very happy. I feel we should be reimburse our points or cleaning fee.
Messed up closet doors, room was humid and musty, outdated furniture, no ice maker, cockroaches, it is basically a glorified run down apartment building, and the beds might as well be made of cement. Everything inside the room felt moist and sticky. There was some food on the floor along with some other problems. Nice pool though.
We loved this place. Beautiful grounds, nice pools and a very friendly staff. They were always welcoming and the place was nice and clean. The playroom for the kids has a lot to offer. The distance from Disneyland is about a 15 minute walk (1 mile). Not bad if you are willing to walk, otherwise its a 5 minute walk to the Toy Story Lot.Yes, its an older condo complex, but it is well kept and clean. No issues what so ever.
We love the pool and that they provide pool toys. The room is comfortable, though the kitchen in the one bedroom is a tad small. We had issues having two people work together in it. The staff is super friendly, and they have fun activities planned. The resort is beautiful. It really is a place of retreat.
I booked through my timeshare ownership. I was taken back by the units poor condition. The condo unit was dated and smelled horrible. We did request maintenance. They sprayed the room to no avail. I purchased room freshener to clear the smell. Hung air fresheners from the AC unit. We did request to move BUT the next unit was in the poor same smelly condition. This site is well overdue for a complete remodel/update. You should be aware individuals and families live there. *I inquired. By law they are required to move out every 30days. They simply move into another unit which affords them lawful compliance. All of the staff were very professional. The grounds are well kept. Understandably, they provide electronic security gates and security staff. As a property timeshare owner I would highly recommend booking your stay at our Anaheim location.
We absolutely loved our stay here. Rooms were clean and spacious. The grounds are very well kept. The pool is heated and was the perfect temperature. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Very close to a Disney. Would recommend catching the ART bus around the corner for the rides to and from Disney. This was close enough to LA to enjoy all the things the area has to offer. Gotta mention, didnβt see one bug anywhere our whole visit. We will definitely return.
Very spacious rooms but could use some upgrades and repairs. The tile floor in one of our bathrooms was cracked. Our keys regularly stopped working EVERY night making come back after a day at Disneyland with 2 sleeping kiddos mildly difficult. Great place for families with large pool area and pool side games, clubhouse with arcade, movies and computers, mini golf course and decent sized laundry facility. Wonderful secure parking area and very pleasant staff.
I loved the scenery within, meaning the flowers and the birds that would visit them. The customer service was great anytime you needed anything. My one complaint is that the couch bed where me and my husband slept wasnt completely clean, and also the cockroaches. To be fair I never not one time seen them in the rooms. Walking outside on the paths and also coming out of the grills in the pool wasnt exactly comforting. Other than that great time pool was large even with other families around we still had fun and there are 2 hot tubes plenty of space for the adults. There is also a gas station and liquor store within walking distance.
Everything is so old. Cant believe Im paying to much for such bad ammeneties, look at your hair dyer, from the 50s. Then handle on the dryer was sticky!! Look at the towel, not even cotton, when you wipe your body, theres white thread everywhere on your body. Disgusting. Furniture surface is sticky too, its basically old apartment building.
We stayed here for a few days because its so close to Disneyland! But the place has its own merits. Great secure parking facilities, very friendly staff.....nice welcome.....bouquet of red roses, complimentary wine, Disneyland coupon, etc. ...... this place is just amazing! Its old, but I couldnt even tell because they keep everything renovated .... from the sparkling glasses to the shiny cutlery. The rooms are nice and big, the kids had their own telly so we were not disturbed. The only downside is that the rooms only have one bathroom/ lavatory .So if you have a pretty big family coming in to stay, its better to take multiple rooms unless youre okay with having one toilet. There are many activities you can do, theres a mini golf course, a fitness room, and theres a game and movie room. The areas around the rooms are well landscaped. There was a barbeque area also! The staff respond very quickly to any query. There is good security without it being obvious.....highly appreciated. Overall its a great place to stay and I strongly recommend it. We enjoyed staying there and hope to come back again soon.
We have really enjoyed our holiday here this week. The apartment is just perfect for a family of four. We have two kids ( 7 & 9 years of age) There are plenty of things for them to do. Mini golf in particular was great fun!! The location is great also, very close to Disneyland and close to all the amenities you would need. The staff are pleasant and very willing to assist. Also, they have a decent laundry room available to guests. I like this place!!!!
The resort is a converted apartment complex. The facilities were well taken care of, but worn with age. There was a full kitchen, so this is a great option for families looking to save money by preparing meals. The is a pool and a mini golf area onsite. The complex is within walking distance to one of the outer parking lots for Disney. You can catch the tram for free by walking a couple of blocks. There is a Dennys next door for a quick bite to eat and a couple of quick stop stores are within walking distance. We stayed in the 3 bedroom option which came with a king, queen, and 2 twin beds. It is a good sized option for a larger family, but we were told they only have the 3 bedrooms upstairs. There are no elevators available. If you request the 2 twins to be converted to a twin prior to arrival, be sure to follow up on the day you arrive. We arrived after 10pm and they had not converted the bed as requested. No one was available to come help with the conversion, so we ended up having to move to a new room.I am not sure I would stay here again unless traveling with a large group.
All staff, front office and housekeeping, are very friendly and always helpful. The grounds are more like apartments. We stayed in a one bedroom with a king size bed and a queen size pull out bed in the living room. Both were very comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. I loved that it had a full kitchen as an option to save money from eating out. What took away from giving more stars is that the room had an old funny smell to it. The air conditioner did not cool off the room very well and the bathroom is oddly shaped and cramped. Plus they were redoing the pavement so we were woken up very early to the sound of jack hammers.
Nice rooms, friendly staff. Game room was great for the kids and they have some activities scheduled for kids and snacks. Unfortunately the pool was under maintenance and theyre was some loud drilling during our stay. They were also upgrading some units which had new AC. This was a minor bother during our stay but will definitely make future visits better. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean. Onsite laundry was nice.
We love staying here. The employees are all very nice and the rooms are well kept. There is a nice pool area and lots of fun little things to do. We are within walking distance from many places including target and disneyland (about 20 minute walk). There is a little kitchen area to make food instead of spending money every night. Air conditioning is really great too!!! We came for our honeymoon and had a blast!
Great location, close enough to Disney, but far enough to not feel hectic. Rooms are the perfect size for our family of 4. They are clean, even if the kitchen and bathrooms seem a litte dated. Our only negative is that the pool is presently being renovated. Staff have all been great.. Would definitely recommend.
This is a family friendly resort right in the Disneyland Resort area. This is a renovated apartment complex turned resort. Each unit has full accommodations however the laundry facility is a central location and not in each unit. The pool / hot tub area is newly renovated and is very spacious. There are common BBQ areas, and a miniature golf course on the property. This property is gated and has roving security guards.
We came for a week to go to Disneyland. The hotel is too far to walk with little kids, but weve taken the ART bus, which is a relatively quick ride. Dolphins Cove Resort has fantastic guest service. If were needed something, they are very quick to help out. Service is friendly and genuinely concerned with helping out. They went over and beyond to make my birthday girl feel special. The space is comfortable in our 3 bedroom unit. Would recommend.
Gated parking was great. Close to Disneyland so hot tubs often filled with children which is great for family time but an adult only hot tub would be pretty nice. Also pool area closes at 10 which is way too early. Rooms were good old fixtures and small tub but thats me nitpicking as a wyndham owner.
They have really done a good job with the renovations they are doing. The pool are is so much nicer than it was before! The hot tub areas are super nice because they curve enough to create almost 3 private places to soak. Match that with the two huge hot tubs and there is plenty of room. The pool was a super nice temperature as well. If you have had any sort of bad experience in the past you should try dolphin cove again. Very friendly staff. We had a great overall stay!
This is definitely not a Worldmark resort. You do not get the Worldmark feeling when staying here and I see why Worldmark puts the disclaimer immediately. The units are nice but inconsistent. Master Bedroom was nice sized but had very small television sitting on top of dresser. Tv in second room was mounted and sized for room. The staff was not very helpful and most seemed as if they did not understand or speak English when you spoke to them. I guess going to the pool depend on who is attending it because I had two different experiences during my stay. However, the worse part is they employ theives! I left my wallet in the unit and it was taken. (Yes, my mistake but this is supposedly a Worldmark. Higher standards and I had Not been anywhere else. Please read rest of story before judging) I checked out at 10AM. It was early and primarily staff outside cleaning the grounds. My walk to the car was short and direct. I was in an end unit near the gate. Even if the wallet dropped outside somehow in my walk, it would have been staff who saw it. They had not rechecked or cleaned out the room by the time I called them after I had made it to Escondido and realized i left it. Kaya told me they found other little things I had left but no wallet. I drove back and by 4pm they were still cleaning the room. (I have a picture of the cart and open room being cleaned) Of course I couldnt look for myself. They asked me for ID to pick up the things they did have. Eventually, Jennifer helped me by verifying my information and giving me the items but unfortunately I never did get my wallet. And sadly I can admit this isnt the first time Ive left my purse/wallet someplace, I tend to be forgetful. However, I also suffer from clinicl OCD so I do know where I leave things. My routine was interrupted this morning and everything was in place except the wallet according to their staff. I have not lost an item in over 10 years. Ive never had a problem like this at an actual Worldmark Resort and staff was always much more helpful.
I was very impressed by the staff, they are hardworking and went beyond to make our stay enjoyable. A few minor issues in unit for example door was difficult to close but there was no impact on our stay. We were also visiting during the busiest week in the year and everything was well organized by front desk. Location is key, walking distance yo one of Disneylands parking lots and restaurants and a liquor store.
Sunday Dec 3- Saturday Dec 9.The overall condition of the unit was really nice and clean. We loved having 3 bedrooms. We didnt have any problems with bugs as some of the online reviewers commented on. There is not much sound insulation between floors or walls so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The front desk staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. When the bathroom fan quit working maintenance was able to replace that day while we were in the park. The computer in the club house worked to get our boarding pass printed. We were disappointed that the unit did not have any heat at all and only A/C in the master and living room. . There is no heat or a/c in the two smaller bedrooms just ceiling fans. The pool was closed and the water was shut off twice while we were there without warning. It was unusual to find no extra bags for trash- although the front desk did offer to have someone bring me some. 3 of the washers did not work in the only communal laundry area.
Rooms are dated and ours had a faint musty smell. Only one bathroom in our 2 bedroom unit and washer and dryer is not in the unit. You have to go to the laundry room and schedule your time there. Pool, outside grill and put put course also have to be scheduled. Jacuzzi is drained and unavailable as is game room and any other activities. Staff is very warm and welcoming, typical of the many Wyndham properties weve been to, but the property itself is subpar.
The front desk was very helpful and safely brought us our requested supplies during this pandemic. They answered all our questions being my husbands and I first experience away in a 7 day stay in a hotel. If anyone was concerned, we never experienced any bugs at all. But a tip I learned in life is to check if the front door has a door draft which keeps anything like smoke, ash, smells, or unwanted pests from coming in. Our door had a door draft luckily. They had the right amount of staff so I never had problems calling about anything. In regards to the card key, I did have some difficulty getting through doors whether its past the pool or to my suite but there was someone on duty by the pool area so Im sure you can just ask them to get through, and to my suite, sometimes it took a few tries but it does eventually work. Just fiddle with it and youll be fine. Also there are some devices that I dont think hook up to the wifi for example I have a portable google home and i couldnt hook it up because whatever device you hook up needs to be able to access the page where you can choose basic plan for free wifi. Other than that, I really enjoyed myself and never had any problems. They have 24/7 phone service, free coffee and all the necessities I could need. It was really peaceful and I never heard anybody next door. Had a great 1 week vacation.
Its located pretty close to the Disneyland Resort. There are guest parking spots at the front gate anda couple at the other gate. There are pretty flowers and succulents and landscaping on the grounds and it was very clean. The putting course (golf) is cute and has sand traps! The one bedroom was spacious with a small kitchen, good size gathering area/dining area, cute balcony area about 3-4 adults could sit comfortably on, large bathroom/closet, and a large bedroom area. We had over 10 ladies and 10 children getting ready for a wedding and we had enough room, amazingly! Our room was clean and had cable and wifi available. The air conditioning worked well. The blinds on the door and windows leading to the balcony are really nice and fun to maneuver! The pool area looked big with a large jacuzzi. We really enjoyed our stay!
This was a great place and super convenient to be at for the price. We were right off the path of Disneyland but just a 10 minute walk to the Toy Story parking lot to take a quick shuttle ride to Disneyland! I loved how there was covered parking behind the secured gates. There was a great pool for the kids to enjoy when we had a chance our first day there and plenty of outside games as well as the clubhouse that had a pool table! I have to say the 2 jacuzzis had to be set at their max heat limit because I just couldnt get in, neither did the kids (it was burning hot) normally we all love the hot tub. There were activities planned on most of the nights that we were there on the calendar, there was wine and cheese/crackers for adults and goodie bags, along with popcorn and lemonade for kids on one night, I didnt pay close attention to the other nights what was going on due to our family being at Disneyland. The staff was very accommodating /friendly and helpful. The rooms were great and comfortable, I felt like I was home away from home. I only wish they had washer/dryer in the units, they had only a community share laundry room. Also we could see the fireworks from Disneyland and night as they were going on, it was pretty cool. I would definitely stay here again!
Im staying here for about a week and I can tell you that this place is just amazing! Its old, but I couldnt even tell because they keep everything up to date! Theyre about to release the renovated pool this weekend too! Also, the employees are super nice and they give a drink when you come in your first day. The rooms are nice and big, so you dont feel cramped. The only downside I have right now is that all the rooms only have one bathroom from what I know. If you have a pretty big family coming in to stay, I suggest getting multiple rooms unless youre okay with having one bathroom. There are many activities you can do, theres a fitness room, and theres a game and movie room. Overall its a great place to stay and I strongly recommend it.
They have plenty to offer, rooms were clean, facility is well kept up. The keys had some issues while using them to get into your rooms, and other gates. I would still recommend them, close to restaurants, close to bus routes, and only 20min walk to the Disneyland front gates!
We just got back from staying a week at Worldmark Dolphins Cove. We had a great time and we liked the units. We did have a problem with the fact that the room had the lamps and the AC stop working because of the circuit. It was really hot there and we had the ac on most of the time and it caused some outages of the ac and the lamps in the room. I would have given it 5 stars if that wasnt a problem we had to deal with. Other than that, we liked the resort. We havent been there in several years and it was nice to come back to it. We had a 2 bedroom unit with one bathroom, full kitchen and living room. This unit did not have a washer and dryer but they do have a laundry room for you to use. We were mostly at Downtown Disney, Disneyland and California Adventure so we didnt get a chance to use the pool or hot tubs. We did see lots of families enjoying the pool. They have a club room with a big screen tv and arcades for you to enjoy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back in the future.
The front staff are fantastic, especially Christina W. I find they are all very proud of their hotel and helping the guests.but nobody has come to clean the room since we booked in. We go out each day we see housekeeping staff near our room but when we come back later that evening. Nothing has been cleaned not even clean towels or so much as a coffee pouch for the room.I was never told I had to ask housekeeping each day to do it or not. I expected it to be done.
Our family loves this resort. The only reason I give it four stars is how old the facility is. They are due for some new windows. But they have recently redone the entire pool area. And the staff is great. They keep the grounds immaculate. When we go to disney we always stay there.
Being a resort, the expectations are higher. This place is outdated. It felt old and dirty. The housekeeping did not do a good job with the room. Found hair on a towel. The towel bar is about to fall off the wall. Wanted to enjoy the stay there, but it didnt happen. On the brighter side, the landscaping is beautiful and very tropical.
What a beautiful resort within walking distance to all the Disney parks! Quaint set up with lots of nice green space when walking from pool to your building. Pool area is large with two super big hot tubs. Activities area adjacent to pool. Everything is gated and keys necessary to get into all areas. Made us feel very safe. Nine hole putt putt course is one of the nicer ones that we have seen at Wyndham properties. Grounds very well maintained...they actually planted 400 new plants one of the days we were there! The first thing we got when checking in on a Saturday afternoon were cheese and crackers with some wine. For my three teenage boys they got lemonade and a welcome bag filled with snacks and light up dolphin necklaces. This staff is perhaps the most hospitable of all Wyndhams we have stayed at. Joana was so sweet at check in and at other times when we had questions. Christina was great in setting us up with a realistically not long owner update and extremely truthful. I was impressed with the fact that we got a birthday bottle of wine for my wife who had a birthday during our stay. Many recommended restaurants to go to and places to see, due to the fact we were not there for the Disney parks.
Inside the 1 bedroom room it was well kept. Some renovations were taking place in the courtyard, so they are doing upkeep. It on a map it seemed just a little too far to walk to Disneyland, but after driving, paying for parking, and catching the tram, we probably would have been better off walking there. Although after a long day it was nice not having to walk 25 minutes back to the room.
At first glance it looks like an old apartment complex but dont let that deter you. Walk around a bit and youll notice the center grounds are nice, theres huge pool, and a decent rec. center. The rooms are quaint, modernized with a 3/4 star hotel look and feel. Youll be comfortable thats for sure. Theres a Dennys, gas station, and liquor store conveniently near by.The best part.......ITS TWO BLOCKS FROM DISNEY!To sum it up its worth the stay.
The beds were very comfortable, the staff is always excellent, and the pool renovation was no distraction to guests. While there have been many improvements to the units over the years, the bathrooms still very much show the age of this complex. But overall great property.
The amenities are great, the rooms are adequate but the customer service left a lot to be desired. My husband has a back injury, so we had called ahead to ensure we would have a downstairs room for all 14 days of our stay. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I ended up in the ER as he went to check in. I received a call a few moments after his check-in because he was assigned an upstairs room. He had to unpack all our things (for 7 people), by himself, into an upstairs room without an elevator.... and I had to leave the ER (where I was told to limit my physical activity). Despite our confirmation call wherein we were promised a downstairs room, the Dolphin Cove people said there was nothing they could do.If this had been my father-in-law who relies on a mobility scooter, he would have had to find a different hotel. At 2 AM. It wouldve been disastrous. Our two reservations myseriously and inexplicably turned into three, so we had to switch rooms twice. After the first move (which we expected), we were promised we wouldnt move again so I fully unpacked all of our things... but management overruled that two days later so we had to pack up and move again. My in-laws were given a welcome package and asked to schedule their mid-stay cleaning when they checked in. We werent given anything and we werent told about a cleaning. I had to ask about it halfway through our stay.We were treated very differently even though our reservations were identical. My only conclusion is that we were treated differently because we had kids and they didnt.Overall, I loved the location, the amenities and even the room... but their customer service could use some serious improvement.
This looks like a 1950s apartment complex they have taken over. The rooms are old, smell musty. No elevators so you have to haul all your luggage upstairs (1st floor units for handicapped people). No icemaker in freezer. No washer/dryer in units. There is laundry facility on site but always busy. The pool area was nice, the staff were pleasant and it is within walking distance to Disney (or Disney shuttle service). Will skip this one from now on.
This place was very convinient because if its location and free parking. But we were there for a week and not once they they come and clean my room. I had to call and ask for fresh towels and bags to throw away my own trash. (No problem) but Im on vacation. Their pool is warm kids loved it but it only goes up to 4 feet. Their breakfast snack items is only 2 times a week.
We stayed in the 100 building of the resort - one of the older, not updated units. We had a one bedroom - sleeps 4. One large king bed and a good out couch. The fold out is ok for kids but not too comfortable for adults. Kitchen is everything you need - full sized refrig, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, and a coffee maker. Furnishings are adequate, comfortable but not luxurious. The unit even has a small deck with seating for four people. We would definitely stay here again. Its a great location for any Disney trip.
On a recent trip to Anaheim for a convention, a friend of ours booked this place through a timeshare his family owns. Its a decent place, the units are relatively clean, but you can tell its quite dated. We had a large 3 bedroom unit. The master bedroom had an en suite, there was a second I guess standard room with a queen bed, then a smaller room with 2 single beds. There is also a pullout couch. The kitchen is stocked with basic utensils, there was a blender, coffee maker, full stove & microwave. The pool is nice, heated and clean. There are 2 hot tubs as well, however they shut the pool area down at 10pm which kind of sucks, but is standard at most places. The location is within walking distance of quite a few restaurants, the convention center, and about 15 mins walk to Disneyland, so it was easy and convenient getting around. As mentioned the place is dated and could use an facelift, the carpets and furniture all need to be replaced. Think tacky 90s turquoise green and beige color scheme. There was no mirrors in our bedroom which made getting ready a hassle, some of the baseboards along the walls were missing, and our drain in the main bathroom would not drain properly so we resorted to using the one shower in the en suite bedroom. The other thing is that we had to switch units, which I never really quite understood, but apparently this is a common occurrence with time shares and that was really the only explanation we got. So needless to say it was annoying packing up 6 adults, 2 children, plus an entire fridge of food and hauling it to a smaller suite. All in all, its a good location if you want to be close to stuff, but there are plenty of other nicer hotels in the area that my be a bit more comfortable.
One star off for not having central AC units. Wall units in main room only. Pool and poolside amenities are great. Ping pong, putting green, games, puzzles, chess. Staff is amazing and friendly. Great place to stay for a Disneyland trip. $5 all day bus pass runs every 20 minutes 2-3 stops from Disneyland, or 30-40 min walk (get the bus pass, worth it).
The rooms were nice and large. The pool is under renovation which was a huge disappointment. We expected to be able to swim. They did offer to let us use the pool at the other resort but only if we listened to a sales pitch. This is tacky and lame. A good hotel would just offer that regardless. They do have a game area that we use once but is not much of a replacement for a pool. We could have booked the other resort but we went for less points before we new the pool would be closed.
The property is by no means perfect, but it does have potential and it looks as if they are working hard to shine this place up. The staff was amazing and incredibly helpful. The rooms cleanliness left much to be desired but all in all it was a nice place to stay. Cant wait to see the pool when it has been refurbished.
Great timeshare.....converted from apartments but you can tell they have gone to great lengths to remodel, update and improve the grounds. Nice club, pool area. Staff seemed very intent to help with your stay. Definitely use them again. Location is Central to the Anaheim / Disney area with real good dining and shopping within walking distance.
Location is amazing and nearby attraction and restaurants, nice swimming pool and Jacuzzi, golf playground for kids for free, secure with car parking. Unit is very good, clean and very well arranged. Didnt like no Washer and dryer in unit. Also, one bathroom for two bedroom unit wasnt enough.
It has a putting course! My wife was there to get ready for a wedding. It has a nice pool with a super large hot tub. Rooms are nice, the one-bedroom that they were in had an enormous bathroom with a separate dressing area and water closet. Furnishings were nice and updated. Free WiFi with the option of paying for faster internet. Good size TV with cable. There was a good size balcony (seating room for four). They had a good time!
Only two positive points.1. Friendly and helpful front desk staff.2. LocationWhile proximity to the attractions is convenient, the execution of details was not matched by the online marketing or the quality youd respect of a Wyndam resort.Bathroom drains in sinks and bath tubs did not drain properly. There was 3 of standing water until we plunged them ourselves. The pool was being redone while we were here, which we were not notified when confirming our reservation.Disappointing.
The place was not keept up towl rack hanging food let from the last tendent in the room with two beds the closet was so close to the bed when you get out of bed your in the closet. The counter was durty. Carpet is coming up.. The only great thing was the people where very nice.
Great location, pretty close to Disneyland, a target, vons grocer and many eateries.Resort itself seemed like it was formerly a community of condos or apartments. We stayed in a three bedroom, the master was spacious with an en suite bathroom, the second bedroom was decent, the childrens room had 2 twin beds with an armoire; made it feel crammed.Dining room was efficient, living room was comfy, kitchen was tight; having two people in there seemed crowded.Pool was small and crowded.May try again.
Perfect location - Close to Disneyland, but not too close! We just grabbed a lyft in the morning & would get dropped off right at the park! The community is gated- the front staff was super friendly! They had a complimentary wine and cheese cart set up one evening when we got home - nice touch. The resort has a super nice hot jacuzzi when you are done with walking for the day. Right across street was a little supermarket store which was great - we were able to buy powerades & apple juice for our room. Dennys is right next door, we ate breakfast & dinners and avoiding the maddening crowds at Disneyland. Our room was a 2 bedroom condo with balcony, kitchen, etc so that was great! Would recommend!
I had a plumbing problem and needed a place to stay for a few nights. Dolphins Cove Resort was reasonably priced and I had a very nice sized room downstairs by the pool. Very nice pool and jacuzzi and it looked like the rooms had recently been renovated. I will definitely stay here again.
Great place to stay while visiting Disneyland. We had a great stay. The 4 stars would be 5 if the hot tub worked like its supposed to. It tripped the breaker every 15 minutes or so, so the jets turned off as well as the lights. Then you have to wait for security to go flip the breaker back on
Nice big rooms. Heated pool and hot tub even in the winter. Cute little mini putt putt course to walk the kids through. They have activities on the board every day, but we soon found the activities were not attended by many guests. But, I took my grandkids to movie night and we did a couple of crafts. The arcade has an air hockey and billiard table you can play for a dollar. The other arcade games were just things you put money in and they grabbed at stuff in the bottom. I never recomend waisting money on those. The location is over a mile from Disneyland. A long walk after walking all day. They do not have shuttles, so uber or the city bus are your best options if you dont have a car or dont want to pay for Disney ParkingThe staff were immediately available when our kitchen sink leaked and the hot tub was not hot.It was really fun to have 15 family members in reasonably close rooms to run back and forth for meals and meet at the hot tub. It is not a new or fancy place. But, there was plenty of room and it really worked well for us and was a good place to spend our vacation down time.
Cute property. Two-story only but charming. Clean and well kept areas throughout and friendly reception & concierge. If youβre on the second level, beware no elevators! Parking lot on the outside perimeter of the property are both uncovered and covered. Loved the dolphin & holiday decor throughout the property. Heated pool and spas near the reception. Free coffee/hot tea/water station by reception, too.We had a one bedroom king and it was plenty roomy. Only downside was that our roomβs front door had a hard time latching. You would have to slam it shut from outside and lock/bolt from inside right away to ensure closed. We left so early for Disneyland park that we mustβve not slammed it shut all the way but thankfully when we returned late that evening, although we saw the door slightly ajar and a door hang promo, nothing was taken. (And we had all our electronics laid out in the front dining room area.) At checkout, when I told the receptionist, she just said βyeah, itβs a safe propertyβ. SMH I just hope they fix the door latch! Iβd avoid 620, if you can.Positive note is that our concierge offered a nice tip to NOT drive/park at Disneyland but rather take an Uber/Lyft to Captain Kiddβs Buffet for cheaper fare (Disneyland destination address wouldβve been at least double the fare) and was literally across the street of the Disneyland Resort entrance. Great tip! Much appreciated!Wish the weather was slightly warmer (December 2019 visit) and we wouldβve used the propertyβs facilities more, but still enjoyed ourselves and would recommend to others, especially families.
The room is clean and well ordered. The channels on TV are a bit lacking but the appliances are very nice. They work just well however dont get me wrong. You have to pay for WiFi and the nightly pay is decent. The pool is very nice and is kept very clean and there is a public BBQ grill that is very clean and works very well.
I accidentally butt-rated Dolphin Cove 3-stars, so Im updating my review, and adding a comment. Ive been coming here with my family for the past 5 years or so, and my wifes parents had been coming for decades before that.We love this place. Very comfortable apartments, good amenities, and excellent service and attention to your needs. It is a longish walk into Disneyland if you have kids, but a short Lyft ride removes the hassle of needing to park.Overall a great place. Its still on our list of places to book each year
While the staff is friendly there are several issues. No upgrade given to Gold member. Found baby roaches in bathroom. No clear signage for smoking areas denoted any where on the property. Coach bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Had to get mattress changed. Improved somewhat. Definitely close to Disney and venue that we attended. Looks nothing like pictures on websites.
Dolphins Cove is a very nice setup. The rooms were clean and the layout we had was perfect for our needs. The staff has been very friendly and helpful with all our requests. There are many restaurants and stores with in walking distance and even Disneyland was only a quick walk away.
Dolphins Cove is about a mile from Disneyland, perfect for us to walk to there. (It seems like a long walk at night when everyone is tired.) Theres a club house with arcade games/ movies. Mini golf and large pool area. The staff of very accommodating and our rooms are clean. They are currently remodeling, excited to see the changes. Everything needs a little updating you can tell its been around for a long time.
Im afraid to give such high rating because Im afraid I cannot find a reservation here next year when we want to stay here!! Just had to say that the low hotel score is so out dated! This should be Resort pricing of at least 3.5 stars!! Has everything you need and the best hospitality ever!! I know they wanted me to do a tour but had NO time and the guy on right from check In was super sweet and respectful! Sorry?! I knowLost commission but high marks from me for hospitality and amenities!! Parking was the best! Easy and pleny during week. Was out of gas on arrival so thankful for gas station only one minute away!! Very safe & quiet Resort ... Perfect!
Our room was very clean and spacious, also really enjoyed all the vegetation around the building. Theres a walking path you can take outside that leads you to free mini golf course! Theres also a laundry room on the lower level which was nice. Super cool vintage Disney movie posters and vintage California posters throughout the hotel and our room.
My family stayed here December 7-15. It was a great experience. Clean and everything was in good working order. We took advantage of the pool/hot tub every night after a long day at Disneyland. The day we arrived we did mini golf and used the game room. They also had a wine/cheese reception for the adults and the kids got popcorn, coloring papers and a cute christmas game. It was so nice to have a kitchen to cook meals. We asked for more blankets the second night and we had them within 5 minutes. It is right next to a Dennys and the first night we walked over and picked up dinner after a 13 hour drive. We had groceries delivered and that was wonderful too. There is a Vons and a Target close, within driving distance and a Walgreen or CVS less then a mile.If your going to Disneyland walk to the Toy Story parking lot and get on the free shuttle. The shuttle was so nice and its a quick walk. The resort was well kept, the employees are friendly, didnt push to do a sales pitch after I said no the first time. I do wish that they rooms had laundry in the room like most WorldMarks but the laundry was still free. I just didnt like needing to stay up while the clothes dried instead of being able to throw the clothes in the dryer and go to bed.
I went to this resort during Vidcon week. Its relatively quiet although the walls are a tad thin. Very well stocked room with complimentary coffee and tea. Very clean rooms. My only complaint is the trashcan was in an awkward spot. The walkways through the hotel are awesome, they have a good vibe with their whole dolphin theme. Highly recommend this place for your stay at the convention center- its only 15 minutes away.
This place was wonderful! My only complaint is that you can hear everything happening above you. I recommend a 2nd floor room. Aside from that this place is great. Plenty of space, drawers, closets. Mirrors all over so if you are here with a few people plenty of areas to get ready for those who need one. Kitchen is a decent size. The tube is HUGE! Now that Ive been spoiled with this tub I think I may switch mine out at home haha. My favorite part of this resort is that its next to everything. Close to Disney. You can actually see the fireworks at night from the right spot. Pricing is really good for what you get. Next time I come back Im staying here again.
A 20 minute walk from Disneyland with a few places to eat on the way. The front desk was very friendly and the roos was spacious and clean. I love the patio area. The laundry area also came in handy. I also like that the Uber rides were quick to respond cost about $6 between Disneyland and the resort.
Its three blocks from Disneyland, two blocks from everything else. Pretty quiet and the rooms are cool. The beds though are hard as slabs of concrete. Hence, the star being knocked. All in all, not a bad experience.Oh, the wifi. Jesus Cripes in a tree. Fix the wifi.
This resort is an apartment complex converted into a small resort. However, it is very nice and is within walking distance from Disneyland. Also very close to other surrounding attractions such as Knotts Berry Farm (another amusement park), a wax museum, the beach, etc.Rooms, grounds were clean and efficient and nicely landscaped. Beds were comfortable but the couch pull-out bed was very uncomfortable. Better to get a roll-out bed or get two and combine them. Rooms have outdoor patios, full kitchen, window air conditioning units that were powerful enough to cool all rooms. Free WiFi for up to four devices. The pool was not too cold (perfect), plenty of places to lounge outside with Bar B Q units as well as a recreation room and exercise room. The staff is wonderful, friendly and very accommodating. Definitely will return.
Just got back from 4 days at Dolphins Cove. I am a Wyndham Silver owner and this was the absolute worst Wyndham property we have visited. We had a 2 bedroom unit and took my daughter and 2 Grandchildren and within 30 minutes of being in our room I noticed both kids socks were black. After I took a bath that night and walked around the room I noticed my feet were black also. The carpet was disgusting. We couldnβt drink the tap water because the water was cloudy and had an odor. The side gate entrance near our unit was broken. Our key cards had to be programmed daily (and all 3 of us kept them in different places so I know it wasnβt a magnet issue). The only positive was the location. Next time if I canβt find another Wyndham property available I will pay to go somewhere else. Shame on you Wyndham I can honestly say I was embarrassed to take my family there. I kept apologizing to them and I shouldnβt have to do that we pay a lot of money to be owners.
The room was VERY nice. Much nicer than I would have expected for a hotel room. I had a full kitchen and balcony. My only real complaint is that the AC unit was noisy but other than that I really enjoyed my stay and am probably going to book with them again next BlizzCon.
Our room was smelly and musty. Construction was going on and not properly segregated from the guests making it difficult to move luggage through the halls. Parking accommodations are terrible and there was no elevator acces to the 2nd floor units. The staff was rude and uncooperative with trying to check in persons from our party that were arriving later. Air conditioning is completely insufficient for the size of the room, especially considering the southern California location. Room is spacious and clean but I would not stay here again.
Dont waste your time or money. Roaches, construction, no pool. Need I say more? Showed up after a nine hour drive. Saw the condition of the property. Left immediately, rented a clean room elsewhere. Residence Marriott offers kitchens, pool, free hot breakfast and no visible bug. The property should be inspected.
I want to say I was very impress with this place! Their service is excellent. I misplaced my cards no problem I thought they would charge me. They said itβs free and replaced my room keys also my 2 yr old broke a glass bowl and dropped it I called them to her rescue and they were able to take care of her foot. Max was incredible he is an employee their he made sure she was happy and even gave all my kids candy after. He told me not to worry about the glass bowl. I have been so Impressed with this place. Itβs so nice and how convient not having to worry about going out to eat all the time. You can make food here they turn on the grill for you so you can do bbqβs my kids have had a blast they have enjoyed the extra activities going on here. From Taco night to Family movie night. We will be sure to return in the future thanks for the excellent service and Max is amazing employee! Thank you Dolphins cove in Anaheim
Stayed here for a few night but was very disappointed with the results. The rooms smelled musty and we reported an issue with the bathroom and they never come to address it. Only reason I am giving it a 3 star is because of the close proximity to Disneyland. Otherwise I would have stayed elsewhere if I knew ahead of time that it was going to be an unpleasant stay.
We loved Dolphin Cove! The grounds were beautiful, the staff was friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Weve been to the Worldmark Anaheim and prefered Dolphin Cove, no long elevator waits, no long hallways for kids running and yelling down, no chaotic lobby or high pressure staff. It was so enjoyable out on the deck overlooking the lovely green grounds or sitting down by the fantastic pool area.
Not my favorite Resort, old and outdated but they are remodeling. The pool was being jackhammered up while we were there so it was loud and of course you cant use the pool or hot tub. It should be great when they finish the remodel. The location is very close to Disneyland and we walked several times to a shuttle that took us right up to the front
Compared to most resorts this has a Mediterranean feel with all the trees, shrubs, plants, flowers and is very well kept. Pretty big swimming pool and big hot tub, workout room, and a nice indoor area with tables chairs and a big screen TV. Each living area has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen and a patio.
The location is just down the street from the Disneyland gate. Theres a fair selection of restaurants relatively close. Parking on site is a plenty. The pool is not very deep, which is nice for bigger children, and there is a 1 foot pool specifically for small children. Overall I would stay here again.
Ive enjoyed most Wyndham resorts, but theres something special about Dolphins Cove. Its a little bit older, but feels like an escape from the house hustle and we really liked it! The staff was super helpful and the planned activities were enjoyable. Free movie and game rental was awesome and they even gave me a birthday gift as a welcome!
Horrible Experience. First, there is no clear signs directing to the front office, so checking in is a confusing start. Then the first morning, we were woken up by extremely loud upstairs neighbors. The floors must be paper thin. On top of that around 10 am a worker knocked on the door even though a do not disturb sign was up. Upon opening hes says, Just checking and leaves. I wanted to have a relaxing vacation, and I feel as if I am being harrassed by the employees. DO NOT STAY HERE if you are looking for a relaxing place to come back to at the end of a long day at Disney or the beach. Every time anyone goes up the stairs it sounds like thunder.
Of all the Wyndham resorts we have stayed, this is the most dated and in need of updates. They have started with a renovation of the pool and hot tubs which were closed. We asked months ago if they had a reciprocal agreement to use the pool facilities at a neighboring resort with we tried, but no. Only to find out there is a fairly new Wyndham property less than 1mile away. We were invited to a breakfast on our last day for the tour and sales pitch. My biggest disappointment as an owner was the pool area at the new resort wasnt offered during our stay. We spent very little time at the resort and wouldnt have used the pool area much, as we saw two weeks worth of L.A. in a week. The trip was fantastic! In the room, lighting updates are desperately needed. No lights on living room and bedroom ceilings and no wall switch. If you enjoy fumbling around in the dark, its okay. We still enjoyed our stay. The resort is safe and the staff was exceptional. Ice maker and laundry are a bit of a hike. The game room on the 2nd level was very fun with foosball, pool table, air hockey and more.
This place is very nice and beautiful to stroll around! The staff here is wonderful! Everyone was pleasant, friendly and very helpful. When checking in and checking out, the staff was informative and so helpful! Such a nice stay! I wish we were able to stay longer but we definitely cant wait to come back!
We had a great visit, great service. Only complaint was our feet got really dirty walking around barefoot. Not that feet wont get dirty without shoes on, but it happened inside the rooms and our feet turned black on the bottom. Carpet and tile shouldnt be that dirty.
I have stayed here in multiple occasions. For the money its a no brainer. If you want a big extravagant hotel, this is not your place. The one thing Dolphins Cove has going for it, location, location, location. Its a block away from the convention center. Rooms are nice, and its great having a full kitchen in you room.
Rooms were spacious and clean, facility is generally quiet and reasonable very close to Disney and Anaheim Convention Center. Wifi was mediocre, room furnishings and decor need an update and the pool and hot tub were out of order for the whole week of our visit, so somewhat disappointing.
I love this place and recommended it to anyone staying in Anaheim for a visit or so. I love walking around the whole campus of the hotel because it is so closed off and quiet. I love all the activities and games the hotel provides, it has nice clean rooms, a wonderful staff, nice big open room and a great kitchen. For me it is 10 stars
Horrible horrible horrible. Lady at front desk was waaaaay too pushy trying to sell us on coming to the owners update. We signed up just to get her to let us leave. She must get a bonus when people sign up for it or something. Within the first night we discovered multiple spiders. The room was infested with them. Air conditioner was complete garbage. Kept setting the temp to 68, and it would stay at 85. The fan didnt even work at all. Couldnt even sleep it was so hot. Really youd think theyd make sure the ac works.. you know, being in CALIFORNIA and all. No laundry units in the room, you had to use the community washer and dryer. Of course they make the point that its complimentary so, cool right? Nah. My advice: stay at the other Worldmark in Anaheim. Its the same distance if not closer to Disneyland. FAR nicer of an establishment. Laundry units in rooms, air conditioning that actually, you know, works. No bugs. Never had a problem there. Stay away from Dolphins Cove. It is complete and utter trash in every aspect.
5 starts for the service but our unit was in need for some serious TLC. We found old food containers behind the couches, pieces of trash under the tables or tucked into corners and random mystery stains on the walls and carpet. Adam at the front desk was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The swiftness of his problem solving skills leads me to hope that the condition of our room was a fluke and perhaps the facilities are usually top notch.
Located right next to Downtown Disney, Im almost certain the Disney complex is walkable from this resort (although I havent tried it...it would maybe take a little over half an hr and saves the cost and hassle of parking). The pool and spa is large and the gym is more than adequate. There is a pool table and a small selection of arcade games which do require a small payment. Only complaint is the fuse box in the small bedroom which couldnt be closed.
This place was GREAT! At first I thought Id be disappointed because it looked a lot smaller on the outside than Wyndhams other Anaheim location in front of Disney. But it was pretty spacious on the inside and lots of free activities to do! I had a blast playing checkers on their life sized board with my father and with the fair-like basketball game and ping pong table. My little cousin enjoyed it as well and the mini golf course was icing on the cake. The place looked beautiful and I didnt even feel I had to leave to have a good time hahaHighly recommend this location
Rented a three-bedroom room for two nights. One of the pull-out beds was broken and they could not come up with a replacement before all of our guests arrived. And I have never been to a Wyndham facility that did not have an in unit washer and dryer. The last thing I want to do is go on vacation and have to go to the laundromat (there is one on property however).
We have been coming to dolphin Cove for over 10 years and just love it. They recently did a complete remodel of their swimming pool area and it is gorgeous. Today they had their inspection and the manager came up to our room to let us know they passed the inspection and our kids could go swimming. Itβs that kind of great service that makes us continue to love dolphinβs Cove!!
Looks like Wyndham converted an old apartment complex. A little beat worn in spots but worthy of a look if staying in Anaheim. Full amenities, except for washer/dryer not in the room. They have a separate laundry room but it is free for the guests. I give it a solid B+.
A Wyndham vacation ownership property. Located within walking distance of Disney the resort has a nice but not spectacular set of on site activities. Pool, spas, frisbee golf, game room and lounging areas. Staff is helpful and pleasant and there is an on site concierge. Free parking and the rooms have a nice layout. Free WiFi. This is not a new property and there are signs of repair and repainting in places. Beds are excellent as are towels and linens. We will be going back.
If all the worldmark my wife and I have stayed at, this has been our least favorite. Beware before booking: no elevators, so you will have to lug all your stuff up to the 2nd story with steep shallow stairs. When you see the worldmark down the street, it makes dolphins cove look ghetto!!! No real scenic views from here. However, the first floor is a mini putt putt course, which is cool.
It has a beautiful garden. Cute set up.But, My sis in law ran into some weirdos. We where on a vaca to Disneyland as a family. We arrived at night and this 3 guys come up and corner her while going up stairs to our room. Glad she was able to push through and get in the room. They need to work on patrolling more, so this doesnt happen to anyone else.
I stayed at Dolphins Cove Resort with my family because my aunt had a timeshare. We went to Anaheim to go to Disneyland and the resort was relatively close to the theme park. The staff were extremely nice and helpful and made sure everything went well for our stay. The only gripe was that there was a bunch of construction going on at the resort so some walkways were blocked off. Aside from that I would recommend a comfortable stay at Dolphins Cove.
Close proximity to Disneyland. Easy to walk or uber. Pool is well kept, multiple hot tubs. Arcade center has good AC. Dennys next door for budget food. Liquor store and gas station across street. AC works well in rooms. Key cards need to stay away from cell phones, its pretty much instant deactivation.Rooms are clean, there is cockroaches but if you stay clean youll be fine. Only killed 2 in the 8 days there.Staff is friendly and helpful. Theres free wine and cheese on Saturdays at the pool, which is cool. Overall good place to stay.
The place is nice and the room is nice. The only issue was with the shower. We couldnt figure out why the water wasnt working and none of the staff could figure out how to turn it on. We had to wait an hour for maintenance to come where they showed us how it worked and explained that they only knew that because they had been shown previously.

2022-05-31Very clean, great service at front desk, not luxurious but it has all the basics and very tastefully decorated. Full kitchen & dining area that comfortably seats six. Surprisingly spacious too. It doesnt feel cramped like you do in most hotel rooms even thought this has a separate bedroom. Dont let the outside fool you. Its much better looking on the inside.Good job Wyndham!

2022-01-02This place is very conveniently located and good for a large group. The staff was really great. They were easy to work with and responsive. We had a lot of trouble with our rooms keys and the staff was always helpful and friendly. My only gripe is the cleanliness. We found bugs in our sheets as we were leaving. It was unclear how long they had been there, as they were dead and dry. The bath tub did not drain well and there was visible build up around the drain and throughout the tub when we got there. Its more what I would expect from a pre-pandemic era in terms of cleanliness.Otherwise, the pool and hot tub are really nice. They do have a chair lift for the hot tub, which I think is a great amenity. Our stay was very rainy and cold, but the unit stayed warm. We would stay here again, but probably bring our own sheets.

2022-07-01Honestly, this place is always a pleasure. Very good value for the price. Like a home away from home if my home were tidier with better landscaping. Have been in February, June and August. Each time was pleasant. Staff is pleasant. If I were a time share person, I would be very happy to have one here. Love that the clientele is diverse and mostly families. Very centrally located. Close to Disneyland. Kitchens are stocked with everything you need. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Everytime we go, were sad to leave.

2022-05-16Amazing stay here π€. Its quiet and so clean. The pool is a good size and super clean. The jacuzzis are super warm and feel amazing in that cold breeze! 5 minutes away from everything! Comes fully equipped with kitchen and bath room tools... love it here!!

2022-06-04The service and location are excellent!! The few times we called for assistance, our requests were solved within minutes! The resort is partially under construction and our room was recently finished. There was an issue with the bath tub making a popping noise when you move around the shower. We brought it to their attention. They said they would fix it after we checked out.

2021-12-06On the surface, it was great. Some maintenance was lacking, (broken door lock, missing slider door for the closet, no room safe) and the music in the pool area started blasting just before it closed, it could have woken the dead, in my unit.Revising: a week later.Yes I am staying here again, a week after the initial review. It was already booked. The renovated rooms are great, carpeted bedroom, but the rest is some kind of hardwood looking flooring (possibly that industrial grade stuff that lasts forever). No roach in the bathroom this time. The desk staff is very helpful and friendly. If you desire a room safe, you can apparently check one out from the front desk. I travel with my own, so I do not know what the supplied one is. There are no elevators on the property, so a second floor room requires a climb. The laundry facility is gratis and clean. At the moment one of the 6 dryers was out of service. But they are provided by an outside contact and should be working shortly. The area is card restricted access, so you are not as likely to have outsiders within the resort.

2022-06-13STAY HERE! What a refreshingly enjoyable property! Our party stayed here while visiting Disneyland and it was a fantastic stay! Honestly, I would have been happy staying at this slice of paradise soaking up the sun and sipping a cold beverage rather than fighting the crowds at the parks. The two-bedroom unit we stayed in was brand spanking new and bright and comfortable. There was a kitchen and dining room with all the amenities. The grounds are immaculately manicured; the trees and flowers and pools and putting course are beautiful! There is an exercise room, a childs play area, and many other amenities to pamper even the most finicky hotel guest. The staff are friendly and service oriented. Parking is free and right on the premises. Well definitely stay here again!

2022-04-29Very peaceful place. The beds were very good. I slept through the night every night weve been there. The grounds are kept clean. Though there are kids all over the place, the pool was very nice and was clean.

2022-03-19We have stayed here many times. Good location, 1 mile from Disneyland (we walk to and from every visit). Overall nice rooms and clean but still a little dirty when we wiped down the counters and table in the kitchen, coffee table and side table in the living room, and the floors in the kitchen and living room areas. Even before COVID, we bring our own cleaning wipes on trips to wipe things down. The bathroom was the cleanest. They are in the process of renovating all the rooms and we had a renovated room with new furniture, paint, tvs and flooring. They warned us about possible construction noise, but wasnt bothersome at all. Our teenage son said the sleeper couch was really comfortable. Having a full kitchen is so helpful for families who dont want to dine out with each meal and save money.Property looks really nice and landscaping had been updated. Free washers and dryers in the laundry room :) Pool and hot tub are always nice, but this February visit the weather was cooler. The pool was too cold to swim and the hot tub was popular for most folks. There was one day that was in the upper 70s/low 80s and people enjoyed the pool that day :)Staff were really great with everything, especially about bringing us new towels (they never seemed to get dry and stayed somewhat damp) and new bedding when we thought we were going home a day early and stripped the beds, only to find out our flight got cancelled and we would need to stay another night.Dont forget to visit Joes Italian Ice just down the street! Parking is very limited, but walking a few minutes there and back is no problem. Target is very close if you need or forgot anything for your trip.Only bad points:We made toast, pizza, and bagels and the fire alarm would go off, especially when using the toaster. Nothing would get burned and it went off anyway. The alarm in this room was too sensitive. We have not had a problem like this in the past here.Since there is no carpet or curtains in the living room to help absorb noise in the updated rooms, it is really loud, even if you are talking quietly or trying to not make too much noise. You can hear the neighbors almost word for word and hear them walking around in the rooms next to you. We had a 2nd floor room to avoid the noise of people walking around upstairs. We have not had a noise problem like this in the past here. Maybe a nice rug in the living room and under the dining room table would help with noise absorption. The key cards needed to be replaced 3 times, as they would stop working for no reason. It was annoying having to go to the office to get new key cards after not being able to get past the gate or made it back to our room due to the gate being open or someone held the locked doors open for us, only for the cards to not work again. The staff said the rain storm caused it the first time. The second time they said they wont work if stored next to a phone (they werent). Third time staff told my husband they are going to transition to armbands and no more key cards. Key card issues have not been a problem in the past here.Overall, we had a good time and enjoyed ourselves and will still come back to this location for future stays :)

2022-03-20Room was fine, a little noisy on Saturday night when a big family arrived above us. Big issue was with shipping - we left a couple boxes for UPS to pickup on the Monday following our departure Sunday, and only one was picked up. UPS has no record of the 2nd box and the hotel claims UPS picked it up. So dont trust the lobby staff to ship anything for you!
