The wine caves black, red & white decor has a clean & mod feel. The space is unpretentious and relaxed - just as is owner Scott. Even if this is your first official wine tasting experience, you wont be made to feel less than and can relax and enjoy the ride. Scott is incredibly knowledgeable and humble too - which is a wonderful & rare combination in the realm of wine professionals. Scott specializes in value (high quality/low cost) wines from Chile & Argentina, and from the Paso Robles region of California (rather than the better known/pricier wines of Napa, Sonoma or France.) Given that, and his frequent participation in non-profit fundraising events, Scott just seems to be a support & celebrate the underdog kinda guy - oh and value - that he passes on to customers. The quality of a $5 glass at Scotts is something along the lines of an $8 glass elsewhere. . . and who doesnt love a bargain?
If you dont mind an outstanding Pinot Grigio for $6...If you dont mind eclectic decor that looks like the back lot of a movie studio...If you dont mind a comfortable, come-as-you-are atmosphere....If you dont mind the smoke in your eyes from the back patio....If you dont mind a truly generous pour....You will love chilling in the Wine Cave.

2020-02-16Very casual chill wine bar. Theres a handful of bottled beers and 3 beers on tap. Couple of TV monitors but clearly not a sports bar or cocktail bar. Fun place to enjoy wine and friends especially when theres a live band on the weekend. No true parking lot but parking is free.

2018-04-18I discovered this bar a week ago and I love it! The singer is the best (Michael Quest) he never gets tired and play music for all ages!. You can have excellent drinks served in large glasses. You can dance and talk to your friends or make new friends there. They serve appetizers, and if you want to eat they allow you to bring food from other restaurants. Im counting the days to come back next Friday !

2019-11-24Great location and venue. For us wine snobs, would prefer a better and presentable wine selection. Also tip to bartender - dont pour wine in a hurry and splashing. Us wine snobs will not like it. Wine should be poured with a bit more elegance and the mirror board with wine listlooks tacky.Otherwise, really enjoy the bands that play there, they add great ambiance to this local bar and neighborhood.

2018-02-26Have been here a couple of times with my wife and this place is awesome. The owner is super cool and hes usually got some of his family working behind the counter too. Their hours are so heavy that theres no way youre not going to have a good time. If you come on a night with a live band its going to be packed. They had a group playing classic rock the last time we showed up and everyone was singing and dancing.

2017-12-01The man who runs the place is awesome. Super friendly, always remembers you, and likes to introduce you to others. Live music isnt bad and wine prices are reasonable. Good selection of wine too. Solid way to spend a weekend evening.

2019-12-01Great little local spot, the owner is awesome and he bartends himself for private events. Completely pours himself into his work, and is wonderful with customer service. Great wine selections. Highly recommend.

2018-05-16No longer a Charming spot for wine. This used to be a fantastic little place but theres been a change of ownership and its a different establishment now. My last visit there, the owners relative and the owner were discussing the physical attributes of one of the members of our party in Armenian, assuming she didnt speak Armenian. Bad assumption and bad change for this little place.

2020-02-09Very friendly place, nice place to have good wine and relax, Friday night live band should be smaller, too loud for small space, but overall its place to spend time and relax
