Very nice place
For a bowling alley (in Salinas?) not gonna lie this place was pretty great. Clean, organized, nice service. And the food didnt make me sick 😂Fun time!(only thing I will say is we didnt get to finish our first game before our 1 hr was over.. Idk if they started us early or if we just lost track of time but seemed pretty quick to me..)

I love that this spot is close to my house and even on the busiest night I can still get a lane fairly quickly and my kiddo loves the arcade.

It had been about a year since my last visit with my boys and we had an awesome time! They remodeled the lanes with high technology and at a reasonable price! The staff was very attentive and very polite considering how young the staff is. We will be coming more often! It was the perfect activity to do after Thanksgiving versus shopping or the movies.
Great place for family. Arcade for kids and bar for adults. Arcade games do need update though and so do the shoes for bowling.

The bowling center was extremely clean..had a tremendous variety of arcade games and was very well set up. In the past when my daughter had a birthday her father&I threw bowling parties and that was a lot of fun in its self. I highly recommend Valley Center Bowling to everyone!!! 8)
Dr. Brian has been treating me for years. It was a shame I could not use him for my workers compensation injury. He is a professional who is never in a rush and always takes the time to ask you about all of you health. He really is a gifted healer and offers a slice of the fountain of youth to his patients. Friends and family deal on Saturday nights is the best deal ever ! For $60 you get one lane rental for two hours a large pizza with 2 toppings and bowling shoes for up to 6 people. You cant beat this deal anywhere. I Luv bowling and Im so happy that this bowling alley has this deal. I usually go bowling at least once a year for my birthday but because of this deal I go at least 3-4 times a year. They have a bar with a friendly staff and their food is pretty decent. I highly recommend this place to anyone whos looking for have a good time bowling. They also have a pretty good arcade and pool tables

Not much of a review guy but I thought why not... would definitely recommend this place to everyone.... this place beats ( round 1 ) or any other bowling alley weve ever been too... this place has absolutely the best place to eat food play the latest games and bowl on some of the best lanes in Monterey County! The mgr Peter absolutely goes above amd beyond his duties to make sure every patron has a good time here!!!! Pricing and lane availability is absolutely an A+++++ not to mention they have a fully staffed bar!!!! On your nxt night out... come here and have some fun!!!!
Came here last night with a couple of buddies to bowl good prices, good bar , the foods pretty good as well chili cheese fries were bomb!. The staff there was really helpful and on it when we needed help with our lane Definetly prefer this place over Round 1!!

Simply the best bowling alley in salinas! Its the only one but that doesnt change my opinion. Great for family and friends. The arcade is fun and there is a couple of pool tables if youre into that. You can have beee at the lanes too, just drink responsibly.
Great place to have fun with the kids
We could only bowl for an hour so we thought we could get in a couple of games. We could have if the machines would have put down the correct number of pins. We had to run up to the front desk five or six times and each time it took several minutes to fix the problem. We only completed one game.
Way too many problems. We were on lanes 18 & 17. Immediately, the ball return wasnt working. After one game, the system kept knocking pins down as if you had bowled your turn (I had only thrown once). Switched to another lane (lane 17). The bar in front of the pins wouldnt move. Then after 3 rounds it started skipping players turns and not counting points. The lady at the counter was rude, claimed that we paid for a game were turns would be skipped. Extremely unhelpful and condescending. Only good point was the concessions. Guy was super nice and the fries were good. Save yourself a $30 game and bowl somewhere else.Edit: immediately after posting this, the system kept knocking down pins and skipping again. We decided to finish and goof around because we were getting pissed off. Afterwards, the mechanic dude said the system was having problems because we were throwing 2 balls at a time (we did do that, twice, in round 6-7, but the dude said we did it 3 times and that was why). The rounds had been janky by round 3, so that guy was being a dick. When we switch lanes, we also got a random green ball in the ball return that wasnt ours, so theres probably a bunch of balls just hanging around intl the back. The staff overall were pretty rude and super arrogant, dont go to this place.
We had my daughters birthday party here. The people were great help. Its clean and the food is good. We will definitely go back!
Went to bowl yesterday night for their glow in the dark bowling it was awsome they guy with the glasses at the front desk was awsome. The bartender in the bar was quick and cool as well! Great service Definetly coming back!

They have a real nice arcade, yummy food, and good lanes. Most memorably, their parking lot had the sweetest smelling salty air of any bowling alley I have been to (which is quite a few)

I bowl on a league. So the lanes are great and the staff is friendly and family oriented. Lane may be a hard for 300 scores but can be done if are right on track.

2021-09-17The staff is friendly and always willing to help when they arent to busy. When they are busy they still offer help just may take some time so please have patience. Will definitely be going again and would recommend going either as a family or fun time with friends sure to have a great time.

2021-06-22A little dated, but still a great place to go and enjoy some family time or a fun day with some friends. They have a bar there with an extensive collection of liquor and beers (both bottles and on tap), great pizza, and, if youre not a bowler, you have billiards (not the greatest tables, but still there for you to enjoy) and coin games like hoops, racing, and air hockey where you can challenge your friends for a beer or bragging rights. And the staff is one of the friendliest youll ever know.

2021-11-02Horrible management. Hopefully the owner does a little undercover and sees how poorly this guy is running the place. He is rude , unprofessional, and places blame and points fingers at customers sohe doesn’t have to work causing the business to lose money and have unsatisfied customers. Don’t ruin a place that has been around for years and is an iconic building and place for fun here in Salinas. I have proof of city officials backing of how this guy ruined one kids birthday by kicking them out mid party for a lame reason as small as having a small platter of fruit brought during the week when there was no one else there ; and was not a disturbance to anyone. Why would you lose $200 over a small platter of fruit when you are already including pizza and drinks in your fee ? That is ridiculous and bad business. Also, ruining memories for childrens birthdays is something you have to live with… making little girls cry should not be something a business should be known for when they offer to celebrate birthdays.

2022-02-11Me & my girlfriend always have fun here. The skee ball & air hockey table are our favorite games there. Bowling is also fun there. They have a bar and you can order food to be made if you want. Overall this is a good place to kill time at & have fun. Air hockey, pool, coin games, shooting games, arcade games and hoop games are available.
