Great place to stay, silent, not crowdy, room was nice and clean, only complaint was not have free water for drink, but there are a Vons, 7Eleven & Dennys near the hotel.
Positive: Just there because passing there. Negative: Booking for non-smoking room. But the room very sting. Walls is very thin. Hair an strain in the sink.
Dont stay here. Spend your money elsewhere. Its dirty. They dont clean the rooms. Theres dirt, dust, bugs, and mold in the bathroom. The blankest had holes and stains on them. You can hear conversations through the wall with how thin they are. The only thing we liked about the place was the location and they have a lot of parking. Other than that stay somewhere else.
Positive: Its a perfect place when youre looking for a place to rest. No any kind of Noise and the staff did a great job. We really aprecciaty them. Negative: Its a smoke free place but some guest dont respect the signs all around the hotel.

It was ok. Walls are thin and you can hear neighbors and cars but it was cheap and in a good part of town. Could use a deep clean and some new sheets though.
Please know that my husband & I arent fussy or finicky people; this is the first negative review Ive ever written. Im posting it because of the appalling lack of basic attention to minimal maintenance which affects not just the appearance & function of the rooms, but, more importantly, it makes the rooms UNSAFE. I have photos of all the problems Ive listed here.We stayed at this Travelodge in Pasadena because our kids gave us tickets to the Rose Bowl game & we needed a place in Pasadena for 3 days. We realized the rate of $298 per night was low compared to other local motels, & it was high for this property because of major demand by those attending the Tournament of Roses Parade & the Rose Bowl game. However, we were shocked by the levels of neglect, non-existent maintenance and the dirtiness of the rooms & facility. The building construction was cheap & solely functional.--The walls were thin & the ceilings were covered with cottage insulation, & the rooms & corridors needed repair & painting.Our first room had a cracked microwave oven, (very dangerous because of radiation leakage). The lampshades were dirty & broken. They changed our room, where the microwave was fine, but one lamp didnt work at all & the shades again were shabby. We asked for an extra blanket & they brought one that was threadbare & badly stained. There was mold in the bathtub & bathroom. I used the bathroom & when I shut the door, the door-sill broke & the lower hinges fell off. The room window & screen were bent & all of the curtains were old, cheap, dirty, stained & ugly...several were off their tracks.What upset us most was that all of these problems could have been solved if the owners cared at all about their property or their customers, and invested the appropriate time, effort & money to repair or remodel the facility and repair or replace old or broken systems & furnishings.This motel had some good points fron our POV & here they are::* The rooms were a decent size;* The mattress on the King bed in the second room was very comfortable;* Good lighting: there were sufficient installed ceiling & wall light-fixtures & several lamps. Once the broken lamps were repaired or replaced, there was plenty of light;* AND, this Travelodge is located on Colorado Blvd, the exact route of the Rose Parade! The managers put several portable chairs out for customers, first come, first served. This was a totally happy surprise! (I was born & raised in East LA & I played in our high school marching band when we participated in the Rose Parade between 1964-67. I also attended the parade many times, sleeping on sidewalks to get a decent view. This year, 2021, was less crowded due to Covid omicron outbreaks, but I couldnt believe it when we were able to walk out of the motel at 9 am & have a perfect view of the parade!!I hope the ownership & management of this Travelodge somehow get the message that they need to care about their property and customers and PUT CARE into their their product.
Decent for the price. Room was a little outdated but perfect location for needing to get to Pasadena/Highland Park/ Glendale in a pinch. Only complaint was I booked a room with a hot room, room I got only had shower/tub.
Positive: The location was very good. Price was reasonable Negative: The rooms were big and from a distance look ok, but things were pretty worn out and dirty. Its very much a budget hotel with a weird smell and sketchy guests. Id rather spend a little more for a nicer place
Comfy bed and bath. We were thankful to find a room with ba decent bed after trying two other hotels prior to this one. Staff could have charged us because I got water on the bathroom floor. but they didnt and it was a blessing.
Nice basic, value priced motel! Good mattress and shower and quiet room. Would prefer maid to wear a haircut, cut long, dark hairs were on the hard floors! 😱
I stayed here a couple years ago and it was old and gross. This time it has been updated and decent. Would stay again.
New management is working hard to make this place clean and accommodating. Stayed back to back in two different rooms. Both were clean and comfortable. Beds were soft and sheets were clean. Housekeeping brought clean towels daily and cleaned when I was out. TV and AC work. Shower gets nice and hot. On site laundry was very helpful. $1.50 each for washer and dryer. Parking was included and spaces were big. Most food places close at 10 but still a good selection. Other guests hang out on the stairs and such but atmosphere was friendly and pretty quiet.
Absolutely nice people here. As long as you do your duty as a customer which is pay for your room “duh” they leave you alone. I’ve had other hotels just bug and harass you like a mob but not here. Worker’s and owner are all very laid back here.. My boyfriend and I got one of the biggest rooms and it’s nice. Affordable pricing. Very clean. Overall great experience every time. I can say after coming here for a long time customer service is consistent. Thank you!

Positive: Location is good. Pretty decent and what you¿d expect for a 2 star motel. Can¿t complain for the price. Will stay there again. Negative: Carpets are worn. Room has a heavy bleach smell I guess to cover up the musty carpet smell. But also to show they do clean.
The Staff .. Esp Nic the Mgr & his Lovely Wife :) were Outstanding in accommodating me NOT ONCE but TWICE on a Minutes Notice ! BOTH always offered a Friendly SMILE which made a world of difference in my First Stay ... & WHY I immediately came back ! I travel ALOT for work & this is one of those places You can Trust & Feel at Home right away ! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !! MANY THANKS !
Positive: The lady at check in was friendly and nice. Negative: I thought it was a lot better but to my disappointment it wasn¿t very nice at all. The worse part was the police raided one of the rooms the swat team was there and we had to leave 5 hours before checkout time. I should be given a refund for that.
The worst I’ve ever experienced a hotel room. The sheets/comforter had a cigarette burn hole through the middle, there were stains, the room had a weird mildew smell, the desk chair and the lounge chair were dirty. I went to management and told them I’d like another room. I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in such a nasty room especially during COVID. I was told they will give me new sheets There were no vacancies to change my room. I then said I do not want to sleep in a dirty room and would like a refund I will not be staying there. I was refused reimbursement and told I can just check out. I checked out and went to another hotel. I then went to file a claim with my travel insurance. Bottom line this place is disgusting and the manager was very rude and confrontational. The cheap room is not worth it. They do not take pride in cleaning their rooms.

Wasnt expecting a palace but was expecting it to be in better condition. I realize with covid going on they are trying to limit maid service. But until we asked it didnt sound like we would have gotten any at all. Ask to have four bath towels because my hair is very long and I need one to wrap my hair in. Housekeeping finally gave us three towels so I guess four was too many. Room is kind of beat up you can tell its run down and they havent done any upkeep. Areas were marked non-smoking yet people stood there or sat at the steps smoking away. The heating and AC work really well so that was a plus. I will be posting pictures where you can see that the shades are literally falling apart toll holder was falling off the wall Kleenex dispenser had no Kleenex and the exhaust fan in the bathroom didnt work. The bath tub didnt have anything in the bottom to prevent slipping but you can at one time they did. We leave this Tuesday so only another 1.5 days before we go. Definitely will not stay here next year when we come to visit our son again.

Its basically a motel with a ridiculous price. PLEASE GET AIRBNB! The rest of other hotel nearby are garbage as well. I walked and checked all of them.1. Internet connection very low. 0.5kbits/s (depends how many people use it simultaneously)2. The windows isnt sound proof so you hear everything day and night.3. No elevator for the price you are paying.And many other details. If it was 30 dollars a night, I would say it worth it.

Stains everywhere, shower doesnt work properly and has a deep maroon red stain on the floor near the head board, which did raise some alarms.Walls are paper thin and got woken up at 2 am, but at least the man finished quick.At the end of the day it was what we paid for and a place to sleep.
This place cost too much with no real accommodation for the guests. I had a fridge to keep food cold but no microwave to heat it up. For the price you can do better. The carpets were dirty and the bathroom still had someone elses hair in the shower.

Amazing staff 👍all my stays at the Travelodge Pasadena if and whenever I asked a staff member for anything maybe batteries for the remote or an extra toilet paper roll they were always quick and happy to help. Rooms are well kept👍very clean everytime you walk into a room it feels brand new like you are the first person to sleep in that room. I would definitely recommend Travelodge Pasadena to anybody in need of a room for any length of time , you will be 💯 satisfied without a doubt 😁.

Very clean room. Much cleaner then the reviews led on but let me just say- The door to my room literally had an opening at the top and side that let all noise in and out plus air and probably bugs. Lining is seriously needed on the doors. I could hear anyone outside my room and they could hear me.Nice but very small breakfast room and aren’t allowed to take food to your room even if you can’t sit down Because the 3 tables are taken. Pool area is okay wish it had card access. Very stingy with towels. Thin blankets but comfy bed and pillows. Nice cable service and AC.
This place is ok in a good way. Theres no lobby entrance just a walk up window. Since I paid cash theres an extra $100 deposit required which is returned to you upon checkout at 11am. Theres a coke machine operating with 8assorted sodas available, and of course ice and wifi are Free, and working properly. Theres a little fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, cable tv... It was a pleasant stay and as simple as it is suitable. I enjoyed my quiet and comfortable stay here and the front desk is Very helpful at all times. The area of Pasadena is within businesses such as Auto detailing, floor tile.. Theres no place within short walking distance for food, convenience supplies, or entertainment which explains why this Travelodge has such low prices, not to mention theres a vintage motel right next door they may be competitive with. After the end of the stay, I like this place and the people who run it are doing good for the guests who stay there🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Most disgusting hotel I’ve been to. I’ve stayed at a raunchy motel in Vegas that was cleaner than this. Literally just arrived and our room is filthy and something hit my foot. Luckily they’re offering us a refund, but I’m sure it’s because they know this place is gross.
The staff was helpful and the room was clean, however the coffee maker didnt work, the ice machine barely produced any ice and the shower head sprayed water everywhere.
This place needs a deep cleaning, after 9pm they dont let you enter the lobby even though there was 40F* outside.

The staff was nice. As far as the room that’s a whole other story. First off there were roaches which is so NOT OK!!! The shower had mold and old hair that were not mine or my husbands since we are both blonde. Bed was ok a little stiff. Pillows were tiny for the size of a king bed. Trying to get extra towels was horrible. Room itself smelled stale, carpets were dirty and stained. The lounge chair was just disgusting with holes in the fabric and stains of only god knows what. Now I understand why it’s so cheap! Take my advice spend the extra $50 for a better room!! Do not stay here!!
The plush bathrobes were so nice and the bed was very comfortable. For breakfast, we were given vouchers to eat in the American Cut restaurant downstairs. It was a full buffet breakfast with excellent offerings. Check in/check out was easy and the staff was pleasant. I cant wait to return when the weather is warmer!
The service here is awesome. There was a small misunderstanding and they cleared it up and made it good. The rooms are clean, the tv is great, and the beds are comfortable.
Room had cockroaches. The door keys kept rejecting the slot. Hotel assistant was incredibly rude. The floors felt disgusting and turned our feet black if walked on bare. Would never suggest this place to anyone. Waste of money. Never changed our sheets, but made the beds to make it appear as they had.
If I could give zero stars I would. Our room was roach infested. Roaches on one of the beds, roaches in the bathroom, hell even in the mini fridge. It was disgusting. If i was not so tired, I would have booked another room for the night else where. Never again will I book a room there. I rather over pay somewhere else and have peace of mind then deal with roaches and not sleeping due to thinking they will be all over my kids. Nope never again! Just nasty! (Also people are dealing drugs in the parking lot...)
The room was clean except for 1 towel that already seemed to be dirtied by something. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets were clean and warm. Shower head worked perfectly. It was an overall good experience.Just stayed 1 night but a few more would have not been a problem.
Not the top hotel or inn to stay at but for the price it was pretty good. My room was right next to the washing area and it was convenient for me to get the clothes washed without looking into room service. I saved tons of money staying here. The room still had a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and iron. It might not sound like much but for the price it was worth it.
Best thing was the continental breakfast. Filthy, stained carpet & odd pillows. My kids feet were black from the carpet. Needs updating & itll be much better. Lack of parking at times also. Ive been to a lot of travelodges in my life & never been in 1 this unkempt. Friendly desk people tho
Decent sized rooms but cockroaches all over the bathroom floors and walls! The rooms also smelled odd, found some pubic hair on the fresh towels, and the bathroom door wouldnt close shut and lock well enough.Im rating this one extra star only because the staff gave us a refund with no hassle after we showed them the cockroaches in the room.Dont recommend this place to anyone unless they were desperate for a cheap hotel and dont mind the pests on the walls.
Have stayed here many times. But now it was filthy. Was woken up in the middle of the night by people yelling, dogs barking for 30 minutes. Hair all over the place, a toe nail. Really disgusting.
If I was able to put no stars without commenting I would. This hotel is horrible! Poor service, the place is nasty. The people that work there are rude. Our room was nasty. The sheets on the bed were stained when asked for another pair of sheets they gave me attitude about it. The room had a nasty smell the bathroom shower had dead ants all inside the bottom of the floor. When asked the cleaner for extra towels she was rude as well. When asked for a refund they made a huge deal and wasn’t able to do anything about it. I do not recommend staying at this place.

Cons:Checkin: I reserved two beds and when checked in, the clerk said he had no two beds available; so he offered one bed room at slight discount. I accepted since it was raining and didnt feel like driving around. The lobby had bad smell. When I walked to my room, there were white towels placed every where along the walkway to soak up rain water (these probably will be washed and turned to stock in rooms)Facility: Dirty, dirty, dirty (see the elevator pics); each rooms air conditioning unit has plastic bucket lined up to catch condensers run-offRoom: Dirty couch; the toilet tank was equipped with the pressure-assist flush system what would wake up people sleeping in the room. The pillows were really bad; they looked like someone just went cotton picking then filled the fabric bags to make pillows. Beware that there was no rooms noise isolation what-so-ever; every time someone walked by in the hallway, you could hear the conversation and you would feel their steps.Pros: There was no bed bugs.

Absolutely disgusting. As we che ked in someone was in the office because their room was broken into and all of their belongings were stolen. Their were cockroaches literally everywhere. Mold all over the shower and bathroom floor. 2 tiny pillows for a huge king size bed. 1 extremely thin blanket that barely fit the bed, amd there were people banging on our door after midnight. Highly recommend spending your money elsewhere and on much nicer place. Absolutely horrid.
The agent working the front desk took forever for assistance. i came in to the front office and there was nobody there for about 10-15 minutes. the high 5 star rating is for the room cleanliness, pricing and great location of the hotel. i really just hope that they have someone present when people are trying to check in for future occurrences
Without a doubt the worst motel I’ve ever stayed at. The clerks at the front had no idea what they were doing and kept accidentally putting us into the wrong rooms, then once we were finally in our room it was filthy. As in, I pulled back the comforter and the sheets not only had dirt all over them, but also hair. There were screws and a weird dust pile off to the side on the floor, and our bathroom had no toilet paper. (There wasn’t even a toilet paper dispenser, so I’m not sure where it would have gone, had it been available, but there was a tissue dispenser built into the wall across the bathroom from the toilet. ?) We had the staff come and change the sheets out and clean up, and they acted like it was no big deal and said “Oh, we must have forgot to clean this room.” When my friend and I got back to the hotel at 2:30am there was zero parking available in the parking lot, forcing us to park on the street outside, which then resulted in a $60 ticket the next day, even though there aren’t any signs on the street that list any parking restrictions (we took pictures and are fighting that one currently). When we were asking the staff about the parking the next day, their response was “no, we always have parking available,” which was just annoying, since obviously if there had been parking available for us, I would have chosen that over street parking. I’ve now been working to get something faxed over from this motel all morning (just something showing we stayed there, as I need it to fight the parking ticket), and the first man wouldn’t even let me finish letting him know what I was calling for, before he repeatedly kept talking over me and saying “we can’t help you, it’s not our problem,” and then hung up on me. This place is an absolute nightmare, and it’s priced cheaply for a reason. Just pay another $20-30 and stay somewhere that isn’t filthy and full of incompetent people.
First off my kids and I got here at about 10 from a long day at universal studios, and it became an even longer night after we checked in. Our room smelled intensely like Raid roach spray right when we walked in. Okay, not so bad, right? Well next, we have a TV that doesnt work in the room. Call front desk and just before 12 a.m. our T.V. was finally fixed. Then, before I am about to finally eat my late dinner, I use the restroom and two roaches crawl on the wall... I was planning to stay another night before all this. When I talked to front desk they had no intention to remedy the dismay I showed. Dont think this place would be on the top of my list of a returned stay.
Room smelled like a ash tray and I requested a none smoking room. In room coffee maker was dirty ,looked like it hasnt been cleaned in months !! Noise from traffic outside , inside and above. Heard toilet flushing all night from other rooms !!! Morning staff not that friendly, and the breakfast was just ok !!However the bed was comfortable but didnt get much sleep because of the noise!!! The LG t.v. in my room worked really well , picture quality excellent. The bathroom smelled , looked cleaned when i walked in, but as night approach. A bad nasty smell started coming from my closed bathroom door. I turned my AC on to get some air, only to smell a pee like stench coming from my unit !!WiFi not good at all could not google or even get a website to open🤕This place and staff needs ALOT of work !!!Will never stay again or refer anyone !!!
Dont stay at this hotel. Worst experience ever. You can get a better deal for other hotels. The hairdryer didnt work, the bathrooms didnt have exhaust fans, no one would answer your phone at front desk.
Price was perfect with the perfect free breakfast but when comes to having bed bugs in your room that’s not cool at all.. We checked into room #209 and around 1am I got up and notice a bed bug in the bathroom floor .. I checked the bed where we were sleeping in and found 2 more bed bugs... My Partner and i got up and got our stuff together and checked our clothing to make sure they didn’t go into our clothes... we checked out around 1:15am ,1:20am from the hotel but before we left I made sure front desk was aware and I showed him the video and the pictures of the bed bugs.. We came back the next to day to let the manager know about what was in room #209. We got our full refund back but I’m not sure if the manager really even care... JUST BE AWARE IF YOUR PLANNING TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL.. CHECK YOUR BED ...
Seems to be good at first but little things started. First the door handle you have to lift up, which is very odd. Asked the front desk and they acted like i was dumb. Then the Jacuzzi never heated up. Put all my cloths in the washing machine, used my laundry detergent, put money in but to find out the washer machine does not work. There is a hotel across the parking lot that looks at us and seems to be a half way house. Other then those things Its an OK place but they could do little things to up their customer satisfaction. No bed bugs yet and hope it stays that way. Mini fridge and microwave are a nice add on. Would maybe consider staying again if i had to since their price is fair.
The room is ok, but wow are the guests rude. Slamming doors, stomping, just non courteous in general. Hot tub and pool a bit off property (fenced area off parking lot). Found a empty pint behind the night stand, years worth of dust. Bathroom is like new, though. Soda machine out of order. Room is decent, but good luck on sleep!
The room was pretty good and it was kept clean. We liked that the jacuzzi bath did work and wasnt dirty. The staff at the hotel was also very nice and the breakfast was good. When I had to leave the hotel earlier than expected due to a family emergency the hotel staff was very kind to us and gave us a full refund on the days we couldnt stay.

Dont come here ever! The owner is a very mean Chinese lady. She would trespassing your room and turn off all your lights and air conditioning! Can you believe it? The breakfast is creepy. Their stuff wont even eat it!! And they never wash the juice machine!! Gross!! All they want is save the little labor/utility fee. They dont care about you or your health, all they care about is the profit they make! This place needs to be shut down and people like them shouldnt be in the serving business ever!

This was a refuge from a hot LA week, however, there were bed bugs. We caught 3 and brought them to the front desk. All that said, the staff was very concerned, responded appropriately, gave us a full refund immediately, and was kind about it. But, Id recommend not staying there for a week or so while they sort it out... I feel bad reporting it but there were definitely bed bugs..
Crappy place! Infested with cockroaches! Poor service! We stayed for 2 days. They don’t change the bed, vacuum, or clean anything for that matter. We had killed roaches and when we went back to the room. They were still there and housekeeping came in and made our bed and thats it. I didn’t see bed bugs. Just hope we didn’t get any. If ur coming in from out of town this place will ruin your vacation!! It’s gross. We also left a day early. Cuz we couldn’t stay there anymore and it’s a bad neighborhood!!
I’ve been there for 3 days, the room never get cleaned by room service i asked for it 3 times and said okay we will clean it but i finished my stay and they never cleaned it !Bugs everywhere even on the bed.Cockroach found in the toilet !! Had to remove it myself to be able to use the toiletWould not recommend it at all.
Not very clean. Elevator not licensed in last 3 yrs and will crush you if youre not fast enough. Not very Handicapped Accessible nor will they take a wheelchair into advisement when picking your room. We stayed 3 wks. Our first room, fine. Our second week, the smoke alarm would go off at night. They would not fix it. Our third room had a blinking phone. I complained. They replaced it with a phone that blinked faster. Total disappointment. Was in the area for outpatient infusion therapy at USC.
Beds were comfortable and was mostly quiet during stay over all good value for your buck
My stay was ok until the next day. I woke up a roach crawling on the wall. Then went down for the continental breakfast and seen a roach crawling on the table in there. Then to top it off as my fiancé and I got home we started noticing bits of some sort all over our bodies that were not there before. We have stayed at many hotels before and have never experienced anything like that before. Needless to say that my fiancé and I are now both terrified of bugs and staying any other hotel. Upon checking out I told the guy at the desk about the roaches and he said that has been a problem and that they were trying to get it taken care of. I would not recommend this place. If I could give it a zero rating I truly would.
The staff was really helpful and friendly i enjoyed my stay there.

Good room for the price. The wifi password is the hotel’s phone number. My friend and I checked in at 3 am, so we probably got one of the last rooms in the place. It was totally clean. Sort of suite-style, with sofa, desk, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Except the coffee maker was missing a part and couldnt brew coffee. Room 203.
BEWARE !!!! BED BUGS !!! I stayed here about a week ago. I am 100% positive this place gave me bed bugs. I feel bad writing such a crappy review because the young guy at the desk is very polite. On first arriving we were given a room with bad odor, burned blankets/sheets, toilet not properly cleaned. We had asked for a non smoking room because we have 2 small children but the rooms smell like cigarettes when first entering. Thankfully the young guy at the desk had no problem switching us rooms when I asked. However the suite he gave us was not as great. Bad odor (cigarettes) non smoking room . I never thought I would catch bed bugs I have bites all over my body thankfully non of my children or fiancé have gotten them. Truthfully this place ruined my vacation. Seriously concidering calling the bbb on this place. Im not over reaction either. Save yourself dont give this place business there are other places for just the same price and much cleaner. I regret staying here!
No towels or wash cloth in the sink area, the very comfy king sized bed had 3 tiny pillows for two people, chose against using the jetted tub as it was unclean and didnt look sanitary, saw a roach in the morning and the bear bites was barely a bite to have and was out of coffee. On that note the coffee in the room was only decaffeinated?!!
Avoid! Arrived at 1am and was treated like a criminal was interregated. Rude service desk at night, took our phone and ID to check behind closed curtain. Was told the curtain is broken. Couldnt be bothered to show where the room is. Couldnt be bothered to turn on the exterior light. It was too dark. One of the guest passed by and he was kind to turn the light on for us.
The rooms were well clean. Parking was free and there is video surveillance. However, the outside of the building looked a little run down. They also have continental breakfast from 6:30am to 9:30 am.
The hotel is under construction AND everything is a mess! Every time I went somewhere when I got back to my room the hotel key would NOT WORK and Id have to walk all the way down TO the front desk from the 3rd floor to get my key fixed so I could simply get into my room!!! After 5 or 6 times of this you can bet it put me in a bad mood!! The air conditioner in my room worked but no matter what temperature I set it to it would make it Alaska cold or if turned off Africa hot! The coffee maker in the room didnt work very well and the room itself smelled like foreign burnt rice! Overall, considering the hotel is under construction it wasnt that bad but given a choice I would NOT stay here again!
Never again. Poorly taken care of. No toiletpaper...or dispenser in bathroom. TV didnt work. Phone didnt work (no dial tone or ability to reach front desk), desk attendant didnt pick up (she was sleeping when I walked down to get service), AC didnt work, continental breakfast was a joke, and absolutely filthy. Tried to get money back, but they charge upfront. I asked after 3 hrs there if I could get a refund and find another hotel, I was told no.
Terrible place, the staff is not helpful, un clean rooms. Found 9 cockroaches, mold all along the ceiling in the bathroom. Rooms smelled funky with possible cigarette smell. Not great parking, and way overpriced for a crappy room. Stay away!!!!
Very very bad, should say it all, but let start with the drug dealers staying there, people walking around looking in cars and loud all night, then the room, ok ,I found a used band aid,ac would not work for more than 5 min no matter the set temp.And a 30min later wake up call,$100 a night, I know its cheap, but cheap doesnt mean it has to be so bad, same level a motel 6, which is not good by the way .
The rooms were dirty and smelled like cigarrette smoke eventhough they were advertised as non-smoking rooms. The linens and towels had hairs😣 they didnt clean the rooms or bathrooms daily, neither they made our beds. Even one star is too much!! Rooms were very dirty. Cockroaches are everywhere in this hotel and in rooms. Cleaning quality is very poor. Breakfast is also below average. Only good thing is the location and the staff.
Old, very modest, but clean. Total price gouge on new years eve - $920 per room for 1 night, typically about $120. Paper thin towels. Mediocre neighborhood. They gave us passes so the police would let us I to the parking lot after 10 pm new years eve and would let us out before 6 am parade morning. Police would not accept the passes new years eve or new years morning. HUGE problems. Stay somewhere else for new years eve and day.
Comfortable and affordable. Good service by staff. Rooms are older but not old. Pool and hot tub spa. Outside elevator to all floors. Good for business trip or family vacation. Nearby Vons grocery and many restaurants, too. Reasonable lodgings.
I had to wait in the lobby for about 10 minutes before I could check in because no one was there. It turns out he was washing his car with the hotel hose. It was 11:30 at night. No other issues. The faculty is a little old. They had drip buckets under the average units in the outside walk way, for example. Some normal wear and tear. It is worth the savings that youll get compared to near by hotels.
It was terrible worse ever. Walls are thin can hear people talking. People outside talking loud. Bathroom door couldnt close. Just Horrible.
Positive: The vending machines are reasonably priced and the laundry facilities.
The location is perfect for tourists visiting the LA area. Its just a 30 - 45 min drive (depending on traffic) to the heart of Hollywood. The rooms are pretty okay. Its nothing special, but up to par for an inn. The breakfast room is a bit small with just 5 or 6 tables for approx. 30 rooms.
The room was clean, but the amenities were largely broken. The lamp didnt have a lampshade, the showers pressure indicated the shower head was malfunctioning, and the sink leaked onto the floor.
Worst experience ever. Will never stay at another Travelodge again. Walls were extremely thin, bed felt damp (I slept above the covers), and the staff spike limited English but the worst part was was that the room next to us kept their television on at full volume (Wwe could hear every word said) well past midnight and we called to complain more the 3 times and nothing was done until after 1am so if you want to get any sleep I dont recommend this place.
Nice service. Dirty room. Smelled of urine by one of the beds. Location is adequate. Adequate if small breakfast. Comfortable beds. Floor was damp when we came in (in a separate spot from the urine spot.
Another guests car was broken into while we were staying. Our never used credit card was fraudulently used after checking in, and they made a photocopy of it. Failed to take payment for additional night when checking in, then made it impossible to stay that additional night. Room was reasonable but I wouldnt stay here again. Ramada across the road looks much better.
TICK INFESTED AND A CARELESS STAFF!!! DONT STAY! BED BUGS AND TICKS!!!I stayed at the Travelodge off Colorado Blvd in Pasadena in the beginning of November and this hotel stay made the whole trip miserable. 3 of the 4 nights I had to sleep in the bathtub. The first night I got in so late that I just went straight to bed. I woke up the next morning and there were 2 large TICKS running across my pillows. I took the sheets off and found that the bed skirt and mattress were filled with them. When I complained, the staff didnt seem to care at all, and made me wait 2 days before giving me another room because the hotel was booked. They would also not issue me a refund. So I was forced to either sleep in my car or in the bathtub. It made for a restless sleep each night making the following days very tiresome and unenjoyable.
It may sound like some kind of deal, but dont stay here. Read the reviews. I wish I had taken photos because there are roaches. There were burn marks and stains on the sheets, the beds smelled weird, the hallways smelled super strongly of pot. The hot water was off at night and only worked in the day, their a.c. units leak so the outside hallways were in pools of stagnant water. Its not a safe area, we were woken up last night to crazy screaming. Dirty walls, dirty showers, they had trash (literal trash- used chairs and brooms and boxes for toilet seat lids) out in the open and in public spaces. All the a.c. units had old free kids buckets under them to collect water and werent moved (probably spilling over.) The one guy we saw there never answered the phone, was not amiable, didnt want to help us when we asked for a refill of basic amenities, and was completely unwilling to listen to any issues we had or work with us. Just gave us lines about how he cant help us. We werent even asking for a full refund! Just for compensation for tonight because we really just couldnt stay there anymore. This place is clearly just in it for as much money as they can get for as little effort they can give. Seriously dont stay here. Sleep in your car if youre desperate.
The jetted tub was great, the room could have been a little cleaner, but overall it was fine, took awhile to get checked in, bed was comfy, there was plenty of parking.
Its great! I wouldnt say best, because the best are the most fanciest and biggest. Comfy beds and free breakfast. Neat rooms, nice employees. Also nice bathrooms! I was in room 202. I recommend. Not too expensive. Reasonable price.
Clean rooms, theres a vending if you want a snack. A washer and dryer if you need to wash something real quick, breakfast is served from 6:00 to 9:00. Continental breakfast
My room is old. Poorly lit. Carpets are dirty, they put down newer linens in an attempt to make it more appealing..it does not work. The bathroom is the worst. The paint..what is left of it, is mismatched and so are the tiles in the shower..the light switches are filthy and the plugs wont hold a plug. Travelodge should pull their license
New owners make sure that you are comfy.

WORST HOTEL EVER! Bad service at front desk from MANAGER, room was not ready at check in time, we were told to go do what we had to do and check in in a couple hours!!?? They wouldnt say at what time exactly our room would be ready, ROACH on the microwave, found dead ants on our towels, another towel had yellow stains on it, and we opened a window in the restroom and there was droppings everywhere! BEWARE do not stay here! I would give NO STARS at all if possible!
The lady at the front desk was really rude, said my friend was bothering her after he went over a couple times (3 times) to ask a question. He was being very respectful as well.

Receptionist Owen Lu is so rude and mean to guests. Not empathetic at all and EXTREMELY unprofessional. He makes me want to refund my entire stay at this hotel & I seriously dont know why management allows him to continue working there after Ive had 2 run-ins with him and hes not only yelled at me, but cursed at me and had the audacity to ignore me at a point. Hes horrible and has ruined my entire stay. Never again.
Disgusting... Dirty rooms I truly dont believe they do a cleaning between guest. HAIR IN THE TOILET AND ON SHOWER WALLS... AVOID this place... I think other reviews giving a 5 star are fake... The breakfast was ok but everything else will leave you feeling filthy.
It was the worst at a travel lodge ever. I woke up at 3 to use the rest room and there were roaches running around. It was too late to switch rooms because i had to wake up at 5. I didnt sleep much. Slept with all the lights on until I had to get up.
Pretty sketch place. Wouldnt recommend kids or females traveling alone. Room was kinda run down but it worked. The employees were nice, theres a jacuzzi in the room, and lots of parking.
After waiting on line for breakfast, the owner/manager came and took food away from his guests because Breakfast time was over!And Im not talking about steak & eggs or huevos rancheros either! He took away the waffle batter..😨Why would an owner/manager treat their hotel guests in such a way? I can see from their concierge that any accolades the Travelodge Pasadena has received ended some years ago.The breakfast fiasco left a bad taste ( definitely no pun intended) in our mouths!All I can say is miserable customer service and lousy Karma circulating around the Travelodge Pasadena. If you want to go to a place where you are not made to feel welcomed nor treated as guests, this is the place for you.
I booked a week in advance. Drove 6hrs then the guy at the desk. Says they only had 1 room but only one problem ,its a handicap rm.I made the reservation through Wyndham .IllTell you what. ILL never stay at travel odge again. Worst rm.no iron and board pedestal sink in the bathroom ,The small TV . Burn holes in the bed cover, ECT. Chipped paint.
Its pretty barebones. Nothing special. Parking lot is a little shady looking. They charge $10 cash per extra vehicle, no receipt. Not sure if the clerk is trying to do some side hustle
FILTHY ROOM AND BATHROOM. Roaches, filthy carpet, weird smell, tvs are still in demo mode so the channels change on their own. Walls are filthy and stained and the doors dont close all the way unless you push them or pull them very hard.

The rooms are clean, service is great, the location is quiet, and the staff is courteous. Plus the breakfast is served hot with waffle griddle. The cost was reasonable and the reservation was easy to complete.
If youre coming from out of town, this is a good place to stay. The hotel is situated right in front of the bus stop that takes you straight through downtown Pasadena. If you want to drive instead of having to take the bus, Enterprise Rental Car is just a walk away from Travelodge- you can see Enterprise from the hotel. There are fast food restaurants just a walk away from Travelodge and a gas station if you want to pick up some alcohol to take back to the room.Basically- everything you will need or want is walking distance from Travelodge. Just be careful at night, especially if youre a lady.
This was supposed to be a non smoking motel, but everyone smoked including the staff. I checked out after only five hours. Complained but no offer to refund even a portion of the cost for one day.

This place was HORRIBLE it took 20 minutes to check in I booked 2 months ahead thru orbits for 53.00 only to find out that they said we no longer deal with orbits not contacting me only to gouge me with 113 dollars instead, we were tired with kids so we stayed.The room was a dump the carpet was disqusting the toilet paper holder hanging off the wall bathroom was so dirty not to mention the tub had stuff on the bottom of it not to mention it wasnt wiped down !!!! No room to park ..Please pass on this place sick ,sick place to stay

This was not a good experience! The hotel room had bugs that I was bitten by. The continental breakfast did not have any utensils and the food appeard to be old. Would not recommend staying here.

Definitely will not be staying there again the room was very old dated the carpet was Very stains and dirty the vinyl trim in the bathroom was being held up by tape the shower was dirty with hair and other things in the tube my wife kill three cockroaches definitely will not stay there again and would not recommend it to anybody
We had driven in from Arizona ( final leg of across country trip) and hoped to get a room. They were booked because of some event in the area and we asked if there was another motel in the area we could check and his reply was you can just go home we told him we were about 2000 miles from home he told us well then you can go to Arizona or somewhere else. We have been Wyndham members for a long time and stayed at many units along the way and NEVER have we been treated this rudely. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE until this rude clerk is gone!!!!
Disgusting filthy COCKROACH infested nightmare. Blood on the bedding. Prostitutes and drug addicts renting rooms. I left immidiately after checking in. They refused to give me a refund.

I checked in expecting to get rest for the night and when I got to the window a rude employee was getting me a room that I didnt like. He was giving me attitude the whole time. I got my key and told him to go back to sleep. The room was not well cleaned and didnt expect it to be that bad.
Desk attendant was alittle unwelcoming and unfriendly. Beds were very comfortable and the room was average in cleanliness.
Good and affordable for overnight. Bus stop out front. Lots restaurants shops up and down street. Bussed to 2 blocks of light rail station, walked than took to Union Station in L A.

Room was dirty, carpet was stained, the bathroom door wouldnt close, the shower was dirty, and the bed smelled bad, but it was cheap.

2022-05-09Security latch totally missing from door, no garbage cans, old tooth brushes left in shower, two TV remote but one battery so I can go get batteries, no phone to call front desk when finding everything wrong. Toilet works every other flush. At least the beds looked clean but happy we had our own blankets because I doubt the beds were clean.

2022-05-19My room was clean, the AC worked and the employees were very friendly.The door could use some care as it didnt close all the way. Pretty typical for a Travelodge. We were there for a festival and the cost was extreme but our options were limited. I would go back because of how we were treated; welcomed and friendly.

2022-03-28Not the cleanest hotel out there, but you pay for what you get. The rooms were more spacious than expectedand and the staff were very friendly. The shower temperatures were really nice but the pressure wasnt very strong. Lots of drawers and dessert space for clothes. Fast wifi for free

2022-01-21Positive: The staff here are super cool. Their business is in hospitality and they understand that friendliness is of utmost importance. Friendly and a genuine willingness to accommodate their guests and that is not easy to find at many value hotels. Negative: I cant stand the thin sheet of metal kickplate around the base of the bedframe! Its so noisy and everyone bumps into it and it sounds awful, a sheet of metal flapping loudly even when getting on or off the bed. Please remove these from the bed frames!

Negative: Someone was using the washer and dryer all night until around 1am. I could hear the dryer and washer and the idiot loading and unloading this clothes. Why they don¿t just cut the power to them after a certain time I don¿t know. ;(
