Entire process leading up to purchasing my vehicle went flawlessly. The estimate I received was the price I bought it for (except of course additional items added, which I declined). No pressure to buy the vehicle or additional services either.My only complaint is that once I bought the car, they no longer provided the same excellent customer service afterwards. I inquired the salesman and financial advisor about a simple question on my car and neither replied. Very disappointed that once they sold me the car, it was as if they saw their job as “complete” and no longer cared to help. They could’ve at least gave me a number to call if I had questions or referred me elsewhere.
They help me reserve a vehicle with a small deposit not available in the area. CLAIRE M. was absolutely amazing.(give her a raise)Sales person and financial were good. No pressure at all and smooth transaction. I declined add ons and they just said ok and removed them unlike more dealerships that force you to buy them.Will come back for second car soon.
I had my vehicle brought in for a diagnostic evaluation due to my air conditioning not working properly. I was advised that I needed a complete air-conditioning system and was provided an estimate of over $3,000. I had a second person look at this and it was only a single wire that had rubbed against the belt, a very basic issue that should have been caught by the technician. I nearly spent over $3000 to have something done that literally cost the price of a single wire. I believe the technician seriously overlooked this very basic issue. From the start, I feel there was an effort to upsell me on the services rendered. This will be the last time I bring my car for any issue no to this business .
Our salesman was Joey Vue. So happy with how we were treated and how he maded sure we got the car we wanted. If not for him I do not think we would have gotten our new car. Also thank you to all the other people there who helped us, it was so kind of you. We will let others know to shop for their car there.
Took my Prius here for an oil change. The service department recommended refreshing the hybrid battery air filter. After getting the car back the hybrid air vent stinks like dead animal. Called them to see if they could check it again and they said yes. After waiting an hour in line they refused to even smell the vent, admitted that an animal may have gone in and died and told us it would cost $175 just to look at the vent and more if they found a problem. What a JOKE!
So I’ve been looking for a plug-in car for months, it’s been pretty scare due to the conditions of the world. Just recently heard about a first come first serve Prius prime, called every single day and just so happened to come in after a customer decided not to sign was able to get the car. Over the past few month of visits i do have to say I did not appreciate how every single sales person laughed in my face for asking about plug-ins, (I understand high demand, low inventory) instead of being kind they all laughed and just good luck. (Definitely a gross experience considering I wasn’t looking for fun, I had been hit by a drunk driver and had no vehicle) BUT finally my luck came in and once I actually started signing everyone was nice. Took a total of a few hours of signing and getting everything taken care of, everything is pretty digital so the process was painless. Expect not to negotiate, and there are always some dealer fees around $3k that you are unaware of and nothing is included in the car like it used to be (ex:floor mats). Good luck 🍀 to anyone else trying to by a car in this current market and hopefully you get a sales person who know YOU are their paycheck and treat you with respect from the moment they meet you to the closing of the deal.
The employees were knowledgeable and easygoing and I liked how they gave me some space and time to look at the cars for a while. There was a wide selection of Camrys, Corollas, and Avalons. It was pretty busy but they still came to assist me. The lot’s pretty small and the aisle between cars were sort of cramped, so watch out for cars! Also spotted the scratched headlights of an Optima–another good reason to come in person!
Bought a RAV4 hybrid from Toyota Clovis! Meet Joey February when we visited the dealership. He was helpful and a good communicator. He reserved the car for us Early March. He updates me at timely manner. We picked up the car on May 11 after a long wait.We’re happy with this dealership has no market adjustment markup like all other dealerships in this crazy pandemic time. Jengsue delivery the car at the dealership. Both Joey and Jengsue provided excellent service professionally.
I came in to replace a battery for my Toyota Prius C. The receptionist who answered my phone call was very professional and efficient. Jerry in the parts department was a very nice person and knowledgeable about what I needed. It was also really awesome that they offer a military discount. I recommend this dealership if you need any Toyota parts.
My husband and I purchased our vehicle in cash in 2019. We had a five-star sales experience with Eduardo. He was patient with our decision-making and efficient in closing the sale.The reason why my review is only three stars is because of the quality of service. The staff is friendly, but once it comes down to the actual service my husband and I have had poor experiences.1. Something small, but important as we both work full time with differing hours in different cities: if they ask us whom they need to call once service is done or not...We specify to either call my husband on his cell phone or call me at my work number (which weve provided several times). As of today, our call requests have been ignored and one of us is left without a vehicle for longer than anticipated.2. During COVID, I dropped my car off 30-minutes before I had to be at work with a promise from staff that they would arrange a ride, as they no longer shuttled at the time. I was left waiting for 1.5 hours and extremely late to work. If I hadnt been promised an arranged ride, I wouldve arranged one for myself so I wouldnt have been late to work. After the 1.5 hours, my patience wore thin so I arranged my own ride to work.3. My husband brought the car in for maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, etc.) prior to having to drive 3hrs out of town for a family funeral. While driving home from maintenance at the dealership, a warning light came on and he pulled over--apparently, oil had been leaking out since driving from the dealership. With his travel plans delayed, my husband spoke with Jason who was very helpful. He arranged for a tow truck to bring the car back to the dealership, but they couldnt make it for 3hrs--so Jason arranged for techs to drive out to my husband to assess and address the issue. The techs made it out an hour later and were able to correct the issues.
Visited recently to get my regular oil change done, and order some specialized parts for my car. They are always so nice and helpful at this Toyota dealership. Everybody from the guy in the parts department, to the gal in the cashiers office, to the tech that checks me in for the oil change. Great service.
The whole staff was very helpful from Chris R. the General Manager to the Salesman David P. They helped us get the truck we wanted at the price we where looking for, no unwanted accessories, add-on services or excessive dealer markups we got from other area Toyota dealers! Will definitely go back when its time to purchase my next vehicle.
Service was great and my service advisor Jesus Lopez was friendly and professional. Jesus advised me on what repairs were needed and answered all my questions. My vehicle was done in a good amount of time and that alone is a good experience. I would definitely recommend Toyota service. Only complaint I wish there were more new vehicles available on lot for purchasing. Thank you Toyota

I came to The Toyota Dealership in Clovis because I felt the (16 hrs of) work done at the Fresno dealership was not right. I easily made my appointment online, the text service works great the Google chat is amazing. Everything is functional. You get reminders a day before and the day of your appointment. My service Advisor was The Most Amazing. Carlos Urenas, treated me like a valued customer. Although, it was my first time bringing my vehicle into the Clovis location he made me feel like I was a regular and I was treated as such. I expressed my concerns to him and he noted everything down on the paperwork (unlike the other location). A couple of the mechanics said there was nothing wrong with my vehicle but Carlos listened to my concerns and he had a more experienced technician work on my vehicle. The problem was found. What couldve taken 9 hours at another location only took 3 here. I will DEFINITELY return to this location and I will always pick Carlos as my Service Advisor. Thank you so much for all your help and thank you for the most amazing and memorable experience. My vehicle and I feel genuinely cared for here.
I was impressed. They were short staffed and had called ahead of time to let me know the wait might be extended (up to 4 hrs) When I got there, they warned me again. When one of the service writers got to me, he estimated 2.5 hrs. It ended up beling less than 2 hrs so I was pleased. Setting appropriate expectations is so important.
Toyota of Clovis service department was great to work with. I was scheduled an appointment with the service Advisor Blake, who was courteous and professional. He reassured me my vehicle would be taken care of with the best service, while answering any type of concerns I had during the process. Blake was also knowledgeable about vehicles giving me a peace of mind that I was in good hands. The best part about my experience was Blake went above and beyond to provide the needed service to my vehicle in a timely manner, allowing me to leave earlier than expected! In my books this was superior customer service and I would not hesitate scheduling another appointment with Blake as my service advisor!
Toyota’s customer service gets better every time I come for car services. Elias was my Advisor and was beyond! He was very professional and kind. I asked him about the monthly payments and carefully explained so that I can understand. He was very patient and kept me updated on my car status. I was informed about how long the services would take and also notified later if I wanted any other services done before my car was ready to go. Joaquin Morales and Jessica Castaneda are the best team!!! I had been looking for a specific Tacoma for a while now and they made this purchase a great one. The price was great and the customer service was even better. I drove over two hours to get to them and it was worth every minute. Jessica had great communication with updates via phone and email and Joaquin made our time at the dealer very pleasant. He was able to quickly address our concerns and even went the extra mile to satisfy us and point us in the right direction. Another plus is this dealer gives you free oil change vouchers! This place was great all across. Straight to the point, no bs.
My service advisor was great there was quite a line of cars when I got there but he greeted me very quickly was very professional and courteous cant recommend their service department more they were great when my car was done I received a call and my advisor walked me out to the car and showed me how to reset my maintenance light he was very kind
I was helped by Nick Toscano. As always their service was impeccable. My car is very old, and they gave a very thorough, and efficient gauge of what was going wrong with it, while I waited in the perfectly comfortable lounge area of the dealership. I always feel like they are trying to solve my car problems with as little cost to me, or loss of time as possible. I appreciate this dealerships integrity and highly impressive performance. We had such a great experience here. My older lady friend needed to have her head light replaced called me on what to do. I went to Toyota in person and spoke to Brian the Service Director and he instructed me on what to do for Marie since she lives so far put of town so planning a trip to town is a big deal. Marie got an appointment for Saturday morning at 8am and by 10:30am her car was done and she was back on the road. Tony was so sweet to her and made her feel very well taken care of. Thank you to all of the service staff. Marie said Dennis the shuttle driver even made her shuttle trip very enjoyable.
Roger was extremely helpful. He took the time to get me the best deal possible. He answered all my questions and made my first car buying experience easy and great! I am more than happy with my purchase and even though I live 2 hours from Clovis I would go there again if I needed to purchase another car. The service I received was worth the drive.
Recently I had the experience of selling my used F-150 to this amazing dealership. The salesperson handling the sale was amazing. The communication exceeded my expectations and the value for the trade in exceeded what others were willing to spend. The paperwork was handled prior to arriving and was very quick. I was having issues with my car and then Clovis Toyota has replaced the proper work needed to my car to get it back on the road again. It’s like a totally different car . The drive is so much quieter and it has much more power than it used to. I’m very pleased with the results and the service is great and the service manager is very professional and they are all very helpful and friendly I am a totally satisfied customer. My car had an idling issue and the techs were able to find the issue and fixed it. Also the advisors were really personable and I felt very at ease. Was never pressure to buy any additional service or recommendation. When my car was done I went to drive it home about about 3 miles away from the dealership the check engine light came on. I spoke to the gave the service advisor a call and they told me to go back to have them take another look at no charge; they were very apologetic. It came to be that some thing was loose and it was a east fix. All and all great service!
Sal and everyone there was so helpful and comforting (I was a little scared because my car decided to randomly shut off). They kept me updated and informed at every step of the process and even brought my car back up for me when I forgot my laptop in it. I felt at ease knowing they would be taking care of my car. I’m definitely going back in the future.
They were very quick and very friendly... I was able to get my keys replaced and my maintenance done by the next day even when I towed my car there without making an appointment... the Parts department and Service department was great at answering my questions and helping me with everything. I have been going to Toyota of Clovis since 2008 when I purchased my first vehicle. They’re service is always appreciated. They are really good at getting you scheduled for an appointment. They’re open on Saturdays which is very helpful when you work Monday-Friday.I recently went in for a routine oil change and was helped by Carlos Urena. He is always helpful and on point. Never a disappointment with the customer service he provides every time I’m in for my vehicle service. I’ll always recommend Toyota of Clovis to anyone. If you haven’t been there, try it out you won’t be disappointed.
Found a great car for a reasonable price. Be absolutely sure on if they have all the keys and if all the equipment works to your satisfaction. I was told I was unreasonable for saying that a used cars value was related to everything working...Chris and I have spoken since the initial review and we had a good conversation about my concerns. He’s making the key situation better as well.
Its a nice place but I felt bad, like I wasnt suppose to be there. I didnt know that I was supposed to bring in proof of registration just to make a copy of my car key. They were telling me stories about how someone came in to make copies of their car keys but it turns out that the car was stolen? I felt like I was being rejected which is saddening. From the way the employee talk makes it sound like I stole my own car and that Ill be reported if I dont leave. I didnt mind the conversation but his demeanor and his tone gives off a vibe that I should just walk out because he doesnt have the time for someone like me. I didnt feel welcome and I felt embarrass. Maybe I just caught him on a bad day. Good news, I manage to get myself a copy at another Toyota dealer.
Thank you, great service! Got right in, no wait! Billy Vang, my Advisor, was very friendly and helpful. I got the Spring Service Special, for which he applied the coupon I received in the mail and saved a bundle! And my car was done earlier than expected! RainX was applied to my windshield and also replaced the wipers! The only request I would make, is that it would be nice if Toyota also washed the exterior of my car when work was done. But other than that, service was great. Thank you!
The line was longer due to shortage of front desk assistants; however, the service, hospitality, & friendliness were at par with my previous experience. Honest, caring, transparent, and upfront vibe. They never push to get any service done, they usually recommend what they find. I trust them, will always return there, and finally appreciate their free coffee!!! Strongly recommend to others looking for Toyota service.
I have been dealing with Blake at Toyota of Clovis for a couple of years now and have been more than satisfied with his knowledge, customer service skills and attentiveness during my visits. He keeps me well-informed of service status and provides thorough explanations on service recommendations. Toyota of Clovis is the only place I have taken my car since purchasing it there new in 2015. And, if you watch for coupons, you can get some great discounts!
Sara is great. Highly recommended as a sales person. She got my mom and my wife and I vehicles. My moms experience with finance person was nice. My wife and I was not as good the electric screen you sign all your documents was out of focus. The person in the finance department we dealt with was not as helpful, when we would ask what they could do with a certain amount of money to purchase a warranty or anything else they offer, we were told here are the prices and they dont make any kind of discount on warranty or any other packages they offer. It seems like we were being inconvenient to the finance department. And we were paying cash.Wed give Sarah 5 out of 5 stars. Everything else 3 out of 5 stars.
I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment, and an advisor came out immediately and introduced himself. I went to his service station and we discussed the work I wanted done and he answered my questions. I had made my appointment on line and I was impressed that he had the information I had provided while making the appointment.Someone picked me up and took me home and I got a call from the dealer that the car was ready--earlier than Id expected.Picked up the car in the later part of the afternoon and went home.This morning when I drove out, thought to check the tire pressure and found that they had not inflated the tires to the recommended pressure. All tires were showing as 30 psi instead of the recommended 35 psi. WiIl take the car back and ask them to complete the service.
Run my credit over a dozen times even though I came in with the pre approved letter from my finance company.Promise it would be overturned once vehicle was bought it never happened still dealing with the credit bureau to solve this.2 year maintenance was included with all vehicles when I asked for it to be put in the contract they said it was not necessary for the fact it was standard. I go in for my 2nd maintenance and they tell me I need to pay out of pocket.There was some friendly employees working there and others who did what they can to help but for the most part the people in charge are very misleading.
I got my car serviced with Toyota of Clovis yesterday! My service person’s name was Paul. He was helpful friendly and personable. I’ve been coming to this dealership for 4 years now. I have bought 2 cars in the 4 years. Everyone is always helpful and considerate. I would recommend them for buying a car or getting a car serviced! Am very pleased with this dealership!!
Advisor Xai Thao was really friendly and welcoming. He explained what my car needed and provided great service. It was fast and easy. Nothing complicated. I dropped off my car and had to go work. He offered/provided Lyft for me to work and to come back and get my car. Would definitely recommend him and go back to him for service!
I had a really good exp here with Cheman and the whole team. Walked in and showed me around and all the features. The salesperson was very knowledgeable. Staff didnt pressure me into buying anything that I didnt want to. The process went smoothly and I had a great deal on my new car. 👍👍
The dealership claimed to have provided a “multi point inspection” but clearly did not. I went in for an oil change knowing my air filters for both the cabin and the engine were dirty and needed replacing, but was told on the MPI form that everything was great regarding the filters. While sitting in the dealership in my car after serving, I checked the cabin air filter and noticed it was, like I thought, really dirty. I went straight to the auto zone down the road on Shaw and bought new cabin and engine air filters and replaced them. I really hate dishonest businesses, of which this Toyota dealership is one. Obviously the air filters were not even checked. This was my first time here - I had previously been going to Michael’s Toyota on the other side of Fresno. Will not be coming back here to the Clovis Toyota
Was prepared to purchase a vehicle from these guys but it didn’t happen after they became obsessed with getting my SSN. I have my own financing but the initial rep said they had to run a credit check anyways. Then I talked to another rep who said they didn’t need to and couldn’t beat my rate anyways... but he stated they needed my SSN for some BS OFAC check. So he gave me the form for the check... and what do you know.. it says credit application at the top.Very unscrupulous and shady. I would never buy from these guys. Look for an honest dealer.
Everybody was really nice and understanding. I told Blake how much money I had and that I couldn’t afford anything more than that. So we went line by line on what had to be done and he was able to take care of my problem. I was really lucky you had the battery in stock . I had the cabin filter changed, oil change and engine filter changed. The car started like a champ but of course it’s a Toyota what else would it do? It took less than an hour and a half to get this all done from the time I checked in. I appreciate the people that made the appointment for me being considerate that I had to call them the day of and tell him might be a little bit late because we’re getting the car towed. They moved it up to 2 o’clock but I was there by 1:15. Nobody was upset everybody was very gracious. Everyone was really nice, and I appreciate everything that you and your people did for me.
Mostly I have a favorable review for the service I received at this Toyota dealership. The people I dealt with were very friendly.And the service they performed was done in a very timely manner.I did encounter a couple of things that were either puzzling, or slightly disappointing, however. The tires on my truck were to be rotated. This has been done at this dealership a number of times. I do have wheel locks on the wheels, but every time - in the past - I was told they did not need my “lock key “ as they have a set of keys in the service department. This time I was called to the truck to get my key, as they didn’t seem to have one that would fit? Fine, that was taken care of.Second: I mentioned to the service advisor that I inflate my tires to recommend pressure from the door sticker. However, when in cold locations, the warning light comes on and points out a tire that is “low” even if ALL of the tires happen to have the same pressure! The advisor said the system is only going to designate one tire that is low - in the situation I presented - but I could just increase the pressure to, say 35 psi, and take care of the problem. I told him I didn’t like the pressure that high, as it made the ride too rough on most of the roads I drive on. Yet, when my truck was returned to me, the tire pressures were at 35 psi!And, third, a new service reminder sticker was attached to the inside corner of the windshield. Under the Date was the designation “20206”. This meant absolutely nothing to me, so I called the advisor - I didn’t notice the strange numbering until I returned home - and asked what it meant. He checked, then told me the service technician must have entered the numbers incorrectly, as my new appointment was on July 20, 2021, at 6:45 a. m.! How could I not understand that!?Same technician who had trouble with my wheel locks.So, nothing horrible, no major inconvenience, but I would have liked things to be better than this.
Very professional and personable team. Always focused on providing a great customer experience! They also acknowledge the rare cases when they make mistakes; they are honest and make it right. That’s HUGE for me. No person or business is perfect so mistakes are inevitable. Being unable or unwilling to acknowledge them is the worst and Toyota of Clovis definitely gets it right.Thanks guys!
Hope there was less than one star. We took our car to Clovis Toyota dealer. They replaced AC compressor. Car stopped in the middle of the road after about two months. Took it to An auto-shop who said whoever replaced AC compressor has done very lousy job. Left a hose kinked, left the mount bolts loose which resulted in break of mounts and axle. The manager Jason McCormick refused to admit their fault and refused to fix any damage caused by their lousy job.
They only acknowledge men here, it doesn’t matter if you personally are the buyer. When I asked questions and made it clear that I was the person purchasing the car they’d ignore me and respond to my questions by directly addressing my partner. It’s hilarious because I actually need to make a car purchase soon and I’ve already done my research so I literally was just here to test drive and make sure I had all my questions answered before I did any paperwork. I wasn’t going to leave a review but now they’re blowing up my phone with calls and passive aggressive text messages. Vote with your money and take your bussiness elsewhere. 👎🏽
Went to help my daughter buy her first new car. Customer service at Toyota of Clovis is awful! I have never been treated this poorly while buying a car. The salesman was in such a rush showing us the dealership I felt like I had to run to keep up. Didnt bother to demonstrate any of the features of the car. Pretty much was like heres your car now leave!
Worst customer service today. 7+hours for general routine maintenance. Said it took so long because of spark plugs. It takes an hour per spark plug?? Then the rep found more things wrong and suggested to get it done anyway…are you kidding…it will take another six hours!! The rep said it was a busy day…odd how everyone else wasn’t waiting. Oh maybe it’s because they weren’t changing spark plugs….seriously?!!
Staff was very nice. Very easy to make appointment and they got my car serviced right away! Took less time than they said and they actually called me when it was ready!! I’ve been to others who don’t let me know my cars done but they are on it over at the Clovis one!! Definitely making it my new spot to take my car! Also the man who worked with me I believe his name was Jacob ! Very nice and helpful! Definitely go to this one over Blackstone location
The sales and financial team were professional, knowledgeable and friendly! We drove all the way from LA because they had the car we wanted. They gave us a good deal and had us out of there and on our way home in 2 hours! It was a very smooth and satisfying experience!
Great service. They couldn’t get me a loaner car so they got me Lyft to and from the dealership to accommodate the rime spent on warranty work on my truck. I soon realized that the ride provided by Lyft was superior to a loaner car in that I was chauffeured around town as opposed to being responsible for my own driving. YES! I felt special. Also, Blake a service tech, not only accommodating but bent over backwards to make my experience easy and carefree. What more could I ask for? And BTW, they fixed my warranty problems and did a routine maintenance check all for free! I realize that warranty is contractual but the service was icing on the cake and well done. If all of life were so easy. Nice job guys. Peace.

Customer service is great but they cut corners when it comes to service. Ive been going here for 4 years and always wondered why my oil was dark a week after changing it here. I got it done at my buddys shop and apparently they’ve never changed the filter in the 4 years I’ve went here but charged me for it every time. I also got an alignment done and the steering wheel was off a few degrees and when I went back to fix it I got the same issue and blamed my tires. BEWARE.
I started my day by attempting to go out for some errands but to my surprise my car battery was dead. My battery was purchased from the dealership and knew I was under warranty so I called in to schedule an appointment to get it checked out. I was unable to jump start the car so I decided to take the battery in for my appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, I went up to the service counter area since no one had came out to check me in. At the counter I informed them I had an appointment to have my battery inspected, I was told to head to the parts counter. After waiting for 15 minutes the parts associate informs me I would need to have it checked out and have them write out the paperwork for the warranty on the battery. He walks me over back to the service section and informs a service associate about my battery warranty, who informs him he was tied up and would be a few minutes. The parts associate let’s me know it would be a few minutes. After waiting another 10 minutes, I see two other associates not attending anyone as I’m waiting to be helped. After another 5 minutes I have one associate ask me if I needed help and I inform him of the battery he just looks around and says alright someone will be right with you. Then that same associate proceeds to walk out to and help customer coming in. I guess he decided he didn’t want to complete the battery warranty. I believe the parts supervisor comes over and asked if I had been helped yet and I informed her I hadn’t. She tells them as soon as someone frees up I need this taken care of. This is when Paul starts to ask me a few question to start the battery warranty process. He had been on the phone helping another customer and noticed that the other associate were choosing not to assist me. I’m thankful Paul was able to get me out of there with my replacement. It was a bad experience and frustrating to know that your associate are picking and choosing who they want to help.
I had a very positive experience, from my first visit to simply get product brochure, to demo drive, lease process and delivery 2 days afterwards! Leased a RAV4-LEMust say my 1st Complimentary Service Appointment was excellent and very informative, Thanks to Jon, Service WriteRep.He was knowledgeable and showed me how reset key dashboard digital features !
I purchased a vehicle over the weekend and got a great deal. My sales rep Jengsue Vang was extremely helpful and patient & didnt rush me or make me feel like I was pressured at all. He took his time explaining everything to me, answered all my questions & made sure I was happy with my purchase. If you are looking for a vehicle I recommend asking for Jengsue Vang to help get you into your new car.
HORRIBLE customer service! They tried to get me to pay $500 for a key that was given to me broken at the time of sale. Departments dont communicate. They finally got me a rental car because they ended up having to keep my car for a covered repair. The rental company tried to charge me for a security deposit, gas, insurance. Had to call KK, the sales supervisor again to get that covered. Im from out of town and a simple drop off has ended up an hour and a half frustrating experience. Sales price was reasonable but customer service is like pulling teeth with every contact. Very unhappy with this dealership.
I have used Clovis Toyota for all my services on my 2009 Camry. I have never been dissatisfied with the service I have received, until yesterday. All the service representatives are very pleasant. But taking 3+hours to do an oil change and tire rotation, with an appointment, while I sat and waited for it. Unacceptable! Usually it is about an hour and a half which is fine with me. While I waited, I went to the sales department to look at new vehicles since mine is getting old and I would like a new vehicle. I’ve always had such a great experience with Clovis Toyota I thought I would buy from them again. First off I had to go find a salesman, when he showed up he didn’t introduce himself and while I was looking at the new Highlanders I could barely get an answer from him on anything. I was obviously a bother to him, maybe because my husband wasn’t with me he didn’t take me seriously. I asked if he could locate the limited or platinum edition for me, his response was “no” end of story, he didn’t get my name number or even say that if located one he would call me. After yesterday’s experience, I will not buy from Clovis Toyota again, but I do plan on buying from their competitors. Too bad they lost a sale for sure!
Thai was very patient on helping me choose the right car and the right payment plan for my car. His customer service is excellent in assisting me to make sure the car suits me well and that I’m 100 percent satisfy before moving forward. I was met and welcomed in the service area on time. I waited while the attendant checked the tire tread. Soon after Jacob Cortez came and we completed the service order papers at his desk.He arranged for a Lyft ride home for me, which arrived promptly.Payment and checkout was courteous and quick.
Update 3: The service manager Nathan is handling the situation, and it helping me out greatly. I am still hesitant to recommend service here due to the difficulties with diagnosing the issue as prior to tearing the CV boots they had not located the issue combined with the fact that they tore both CV boots this has me concerned about the qualities of the techs. Never the less I am improving my rating as Nathan the service manager is helping me out and is fixing their mistakes.Update 2: I received a follow up call from the dealer, they tore both of my outer CV boots removing the front sway bar. My vehicle entered this dealer in a drivable condition and is now completely disabled. EDIT: the tech tore the R and L outer CV boots changed from inner and outerI have a 4runner that developed a rather concerning popping/banging noise from the front end that sounds like a CV failure while in vacation in the area. I went to the dealer for service because I wanted OEM parts. The service advisor and tech stated they could not replicate the noise and that everything looks fine. I pick up my vehicle and attempt to replicate the noise and sure enough it makes the loud banging noise. My service advisor stated that driving over a curb is “an extreme test drive” despite the fact that I explained when dropping the vehicle off that it only makes the noise when the wheel is turned and the front wheels are at different heights such as turning up a steep hill. So I drop the vehicle off again the next morning and the Advisor tells me there is no way to get an OEM axle for the vehicle today. I will update this as the situation evolves but avoid this place for any actual issues as they have the diagnostic abilities of kindergartners.Update: got a call that the tech thinks it’s a ball joint issue and was told I would get a call back following the test drive. It’s been 45 minutes and still nothing. Still doesn’t explain why it gets worse in 4wd but hey I’m not a mechanic.
Jon is very professional, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Jon goes out of his way to make sure he understands your issues and concerns. He then will not stop until everything is taken care of to the clients satisfaction. Toyota should be proud to have him. The service staff is also very good and always works to solve all problems.
We came in on July 4th and in under 2 hours drove away with our new Toyota Camry TRD. Our salesman Aaron was extremely helpful with everything from start to finish and was sure to explain how everything worked on the car. It was a great experience, my daughters bought her first financed car there. They were very professional and we actually had a really good time. We will buy there again. Go there you wont get the run around. We went there from merced but well worth it. The dealerships in between here and there. Dont waste your time unless you have nothing better to do.

They did good work on my vehicle but I am upset that I was not told when I made.my appointment that it would take over 3 hours in the waiting room. I had a doctors appointment and was late because they told me it would be 2. To 2 and 1/2 hours max! Nick tried hard to get me out in time but only so much he could do
A gentleman by the first name of Blake helped me in the service department. He was extremely professional and very attentive. He told me it would take approximately an hour and a half to service my car and Blake was right. He is definitely an asset to your corporation. Thank you Blake for your professionalism. Service advisor Jacob is my go-to guy he listens to my concerns and always gets me out promptly. I will continue to bring my vehicle back to Toyota of Clovis for future services.
The service was inadequate due to the poor performance of the service advisor. R Garcia could not be located when my car was finished. He came back to his desk after about 15 minutes and I told him my car was finished but he walked off again and could not be located even when his name was announced over the loud speaker. Finally I found him to get the paperwork but he didn’t know where the fob was to my car. The cashier had to go find him to get the fob to my vehicle. RG knew I was waiting for the service and obviously had no respect for my time and good customer service. Then when I read the print out the cabin filter should have been replaced but even though I gave them my cell phone number and I was sitting in the waiting area there was no communication or I would have agreed to it. The parts department and cashier are awesome and helped me with everything they could.
Taking my car in for its maintenance is always been a pleasurable experience they are very professional I never have to wait very long and if I did I wouldnt mind because I know that it means that they are taking extra special care of my vehicle making sure everything is on point. the people there are always very nice Im always greeted with a smile asked if I if theres anything they can do for me. The waiting area is very nice and comfortable coffee is there for you. My Camry my first car that I bought and brand new and I most definitely will come back and buy my next one from Toyota very happy with my car and the services I receive.
Kong did a really good job on helping me get my dream car also i’m a first time buyer! I went to carmax cause i had reserved a toyota camry for test drive, they didn’t tell me over the phone that i had to make an appt, carmax gave me a card to call someone to set an app, so i did, only to tell me that the car was already SOLD, garbage! So i called toyota of clovis, was able to accommodate me and my family right away! Test drove the car i like, and started to negotiated! And i got my car!!!
I had a fantastic experience with Jacob at Toyota of Clovis. I was visiting my parents from Los Angeles(they live in Squaw Valley) and my check engine light came on. I was very hesitant on going to a dealership with my Tacoma but my Dad insisted I see Jacob. He was knowledgeable on my situation over the phone and a pleasant and professional associate to deal with in person. He gave me a 3 hour time window and a fair price to assess the problem with my truck and I felt like he gave me VIP treatment. My full point inspection was done in an hour instead of the 3 hours I was quoted and my check engine light was resolved by the mechanics. Jacob personally showed me the issue with my truck and gave me a solution on how to fix it and get me back home(safely) to LA. I give 5 stars solely based on the customer service provided by Jacob and recommend anyone with a Toyota to get your service done at Toyota of Clovis. I am a difficult customer and I was more than satisfied with the service provided. Thank you!
I was contacted by Toyota both by a letter and then by Toyota of Clovis that I had a recall on peeling paint. I had that issue and wanted the repair. All this happened at the onset of COVID-19 and the service coordinator and I decided the fix could wait.It was time for routine service so I decided schedule the paint fix too. I called and scheduled the appointment and requested a rental car. I dropped off my car and expecting my car would be done in about a week. I got a call that evening telling me the paint fix didn’t apply to my car since it wasn’t on metal parts. This surprised me as photos had been taken by the original service coordinator and I was told it did meet the recall requirements.I did get the oil change done without a charge for our troubles, but of course still have the paint issue.
Customer service was good. Price was fairly reasonable. Even provided free coffee. Would have given higher rating but even with a pre scheduled appointment time it required a little over three hours to change oil and rotate 4 tires. An hour and a half was anticipated but three hours was not acceptable nor appreciated given the appointment was made more than a week in advance and confirmed by the dealer the day prior.
Service dept. was quick! In at 7am done by 815am.Customer service/payment/parts employeesarea is a little confusing area. Employees need some customer service training in this payment/parts dept. area. Very dull and almost rude customer service skills. If you don’t like helping customers don’t work in customer service. I do not want to blast any names out but they all seemed bothered to help whoever came to the desk for payment or parts service.
I went to Toyota of Clovis i had a great experience. Thai was the person who assisted us very professional willing to help and seal the deal highly recommend you go visit of your planning on getting a new car they will help you and work with you to be set your needs.
Joey is the best sales man. I previously purchased a Toyota Carolla from Hanford Toyota and those guys tool advantage of my urgency and the experience was terrible, Joey from Clovis Toyota was the complete opposite of that. Completely awsome experience, lets you know what the actual cost is for the vehicle instead of snaking you with these hidden charges. Theres so much integrity and honesty here and thats whats important. Eric the financial manager is another awsome individual who assisted me with getting me the best deal for me as opposed to the best deal for him. People like Eric and Joey are whats RIGHT with the world and I honestly cant say enough great things about how awsome they are. 10 stars white glove truffle butter type service
I called to find out what our extended warranty was they looked it up and explained the coverage. I was told from another suspension place that my front struts were bad it will cost700 dollars. I didnt think so. So Toyota looked at it and said all you need is an alignment that was on sale for $99.95 so they saved us $600 dollars. Yes I will tell everyone that Toyota is very honest. Paul Kostsouos the Assitant Service Manager is excellent whenever you bring in your vehicles to be serviced. His knowledge and experience with repair and service needs are a reflection of Toyota of Clovis professionalism. It makes me very comfortable knowing he is there. I always go there for service because Paul takes good care of you along with his communication updates on your vehicle. Paul is a valuable asset in my opinion and one of the main reasons Im a customer.
I kept hearing noise when applying my brakes made an appointment for the next day. They looked over my suv and didnt see anything wrong so they drove it heard the sound they did talked it over with management agreed that it would be best to change out the brakes and routers just tobe on the safe side.That made both sides happy.Thank youToyota Of ClovisTonya Duncan
I took my car for its first service, which was literally just to rotate tires and top off fluids. I was told it would be a 3.5 hour wait and was told no shuttle was available, nor was a courtesy car offered. I cancelled my service, left and took my car to FireStone and paid $9.00 to rotate my tires. It’s extremely unreasonable to make a customer wait that long without providing a shuttle or alternate transportation. This is my first Toyota and guess I am used to service at higher end dealerships. I hope this is not how future service will be handled.
Previously, I gave a review of 1 star due to my car buying experience—Update: Toyota of Clovis team reached out and gave more effort to making sure I was a satisfied customer. I recommend communicating all issues you have constantly until you are heard. If you are lucky enough to get to speak with Eric or Rudy on their team they will do their very best to make sure you are satisfied. This being the case for me —now I have updated my 1star to 3 star. I believe there are still improvements that can be made to the used car buying experience but I appreciate the actions taken to rectify issues with my own experience.
My wife took her vehicle in there to see if it was worth it to keep it or not, she also went in there with the intent to trade it in. I knew the car was running a little rough and I knew that it need an oil change and maybe a couple of little things here and there noting major. So my wife called me and told me that they recommended a new motor for the vehicle. $1900 plus $2000 for installation. So I went down there they said cylinder number three was bad. So I was like instead of doing a smoke test, or pressure test, or offer to rebuild the motor they recommended a used motor with 80k miles for $1900 plus installation. I guess when a woman goes in there by herself they try to get all they can..
My experience here was excellent! The salesman Chris, that sold me my 2018 Camry was very polite, and professional throughout the whole process. He went above and beyond, to get me the exact car I wanted. At no point did he try to sell me a car, or model that I didn’t want. I felt comfortable, and confident with my purchase. I’d definitely recommend coming to Toyota of Clovis, to anyone interested in purchasing a Toyota.
I normally have a good experience for Toyota but this time it wasn’t so great. I went for a oil change and also a recall but when I got my car back I was never told that they had recommended anything and when I checked the paperwork I got back I saw that I had red marks which I was never told. I had to ask and Google what some of the information meant. It also said that my tires were good but they looked a little low to me I don’t know if they put air when they need it but to me it looked a little low. Also on my paperwork it said I needed a break fluid change and I wasn’t aware of that I was never told anything. Also said my coolant was low and I wasn’t told about that either. Every time I’ve gone I’ve had a good experience but this one time it wasn’t so good. It said they recommended me the work and then I declined but I was never told on any of my paperwork that I had red marks for my car.
Toyota of Clovis is an all around Great Dealership! Theyve serviced my vehicles to the high dealership level youd expect. I recently sent my elderly parents there for service on their Avalon and they couldnt say enough about the excellent care and concern they received. Thank you Toyota of Clovis!
Terrible customer service!Take your business somewhere since they don’t want your business.On March 30, 2021 I went in to Clovis Toyota because José called me to go and see a Toyota siena, because a customer backed out of their deal. I liked the vehicle so we proceeded to negotiate a deal. First, I was offered $32,000 dollars for my vehicle ,which it blue books for much more, but I agreed because I wanted to make a deal. I then offered the rest of the sticker price in cash, after being offered no rebates or discounts. Not a big deal. Then José, without telling me was wrong with my offer, told me I should go and put my money in my bank. No checking with his manager, no negotiating... Just embarrased me in front of my family.Terrible customer service!Take your business somewhere else.
I took my car in for a recall and Paul was very helpful and friendly!! Great experience, highly recommended!!! They have espresso drink machines throughout which are delicious! I have visited several times and everyone is always so helpful and nice. Thank you Toyota of Clovis team, you do a great job.
Bought a Used 2013 Dodge Challenger from here 2 days later Air Bag Dash Light came on and stayed ON. I set up an appointment in the next two days at their service center . Once I pulled up to their service center I was greeted by one of the mechanics... I believe ... any way I told him why I was there and that I purchased the car few days ago. He followed up by asking do I have full warranty for the vehicle. Mind you that I barely purchased the vehicle? He asked who helped me I told him the names Andrew Key and Daniel Gonzalez (same name as me kinda of funny). He followed up by saying I’m not sure why you’re here we don’t service Dodge vehicles. I told him that the men that helped me few days ago told me to bring the car here if anything was wrong with it. Long story short it took 2 hours for my vehicle to get looked at and on top of that they lied to me saying my shoe was stuck under the driver seat that disconnected the Air Bag sensor. When I had barely taken off my shoes when I arrived there because they’re my working shoes so I had decided to wear my slides while I waited. I don’t have any complaints during the purchasing process they are nice people but something seems off with buying USED... their own mechanic said they don’t service Dodge vehicles than who looked at my car...hmmm. What’s the point of the 36 month service warranty?? Just beware if you’re buying used from my personal experience. Car runs smooth so far no complaints on that. Your mechanics on the other hand? Kind of shady . Nothing comes good out of an untrustworthy mechanic. Warranty? Seems to be pointless.
Staff was extremely helpful and the shuttle driver was amazing. The place was clean and inviting, when I called to check the status of my vehicle the person who answered the phone was pleasant and courteous. I have never had an experience like that at a dealership. I would recommend them to everyone.
I communicated with Brian for eight months before finally purchasing my vehicle at Toyota of Clovis. The whole experience was perfect! I never felt pressured but I always felt welcome. They are good communicators and there are no surprises.I plan to continue my relationship with them through the service department and for my next purchase in a year.
I went this morning for an oil change. I was help by Ros and Tony Awsome team u have. I was attended as soon as i drove up. Great customer service as well. I even got drop off at work. I usually write nice reviews but in this case is not a nice one, I have 2 Toyota Prius taking to service to this dealer but now I prefer to drive far than just forget about two bad experiences here, the fist of my cars, I took the service with a supposedly full inspection and next day my Wife call me to ask for help then we saw both tires where totally bad and with all metal wires out, that was really bad, then I have to spend time and money. My second car case was worse, I took to service like two weeks or so then again full inspection and oil change and when they give me my car came up with an alarm engine and they said it would be okey then next day I heard a noice then I saw the water level and totally empty, so overheated.Just next day from (full inspection). Really bad
I purchased a new Sienna in March, 2019. I received a recall notice in January, advising me not to drive the car due to a safety hazard with the fuel pump, which could stop and cause the car engine to stop with possible loss of steering and brakes. It is now late July 2020, and I have tried on three occasions to schedule the recall repair, with no success. Theyve told me the replacement fuel pumps are not yet available. Recently, my attempts to call have been met at Toyota of Clovis by the most fortified telephone system I have ever encountered. Ive been unable to make any contact with Service. The receptionist just says a Recall Specialist will research my vehicle situation and call me back. I never have received a return call. Ive spent 7 months of the two year warranty with the car sitting in my driveway with 1,100 miles on the odometer. Early on, they offered a loaner vehicle, a Kia, but I bought a Sienna because it met my needs. The loaner would be useless to me.Meanwhile Toyota has continued selling Sienna automobiles. Either they have an operable Sienna fuel pump, and have just resisted making my repair, or theyre selling cars with known defects and failing to disclose the recall until after the sale. I cannot in good conscience recommend Toyota automobiles or customer service, or recommend Toyota of Clovis as a vendor.This is now way past the realm of reasonableness.
Excellent experience shopping for a new 4Runner! Sarah was super efficient and flexible with helping me find the vehicle I was looking for. The finance department made the sale seamless. Management was thorough and readily available. It could not have been a more pleasant experience.
I took my car in for a maintenance issue and also routine maintenance. Everyone was very friendly, especially Jon Lo! He took such good care of me. He was extremely personable and made me feel like my car was in good hands. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and make sure you ask for Jon Lo if you need maintenance work done!
I had a scheduled appointment for 12:00 noon. I arrived about 20 minutes early.The service person was very helpful and moved us to the head of the line.I had a minor concern about my license plateThat I wanted him to look at along with the service I was there for.He noted it and told me about how long it would take .He directed us to the waiting room.The area was very clean with a television and some great coffee.The wait was pleasant and it just took the amount of time he had mentioned .We were very pleased and everyone seemedVery helpful .Thank you all very much .A very satisfied customer .
I got my Highlander last year July 2019 but I moved to San Jose CA. But everytime i set an appointment to Toyota Clovis staff theyre very helpful to accommodate me and yesterday they help my Toyota Highlander fixed the recall so it runs smooth and looks like my gas mileage got better. My service rep saw me on-time and was very efficient in getting me taken care of. This is my second SERVICE experience and it was just as good.I did not take the shuttle service this time because my car was ready so quickly. When my car was ready I received a courtesy call promptly.Toyota quality AND service are well-known, which helped in the decision to buy the Prius in the first place. John G.
DISCLAIMER: I am NOT telling you to stay away! Im sure lots of people have had great experiences. This is just my Experience.I arrived at Toyota Clovis looking for an SE Camry, we walked around looking at inventory for maybe 3-5 minutes, no one came out to help, then we went inside to ask for help. The guy didnt know his own inventory and had my wife and I running around a hot dealership But my wife and I were the ones who found the car that we liked. The sales person was completely lost. HOWEVER. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because of their inventory. Its huge, and they have a lot of colors and options.

2021-12-11Joey Vue was my Salesman he was very courteous, helpful and understanding. We were having issue with my bank not wanting to work with the dealership and we eventually got the deal done and he even called the next day to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I am and Ill probably buy again from them. Also both Sales Manager that I talked to one was Daniel and the other I forgot his name were also great and very understanding as well. You guys are great keep it up!

2022-05-24They sold me a used 2011 Toyota Tundra, which is great. However they made me wait for an hour and a half while they redrew the paperwork to add on a bunch of stuff I never wanted and was never discussed. Eventually managed to get that off of it, then a month later, they called me up and told me that theyd messed up the registration, so I was going to have to make a 2 hour round trip back there to fix it. Told them I would have to check my schedule and get back to them. Tried calling multiple times only got through once and the front desk person didnt know who to go to, said someone would call me back. That was 3 days ago now. Tried calling multiple times since then to get a follow-up and even emailed 2 department managers, but still no response from anyone. 2022-04-15Sam, our sales representative was amazing! He was kind, honest, personable and very efficient. Also want to mention Clair. She was our contact person before we actually even went to the dealership. Thanks to her attention and hard work, we got the car of our dreams, without any headaches. Finance dept. was also very helpful and made the process easy. This was by far the best experience weve ever had buying a car.

2021-10-22Didn’t expect to have car serviced as fast as the process went. Nice coffee machine and comfortable chairs. But spent my time walking around out front. Paul helped through a simple walk through process. They seem to pride themselves off of great customer service which I appreciate fully.

2022-06-01Customer service is a joke here I’ve had a flat and roadside won’t even pick up the phone after the first time I called. I have warranty on all the tires yet they want to put the spare tire on and let me drive 40 miles back to the dealership to get my tire replaced (FYI I’m not even home to drive the car with the spare because I got a ride to work) at this point it’s more of a disservice than a service. I’ll never buy a vehicle here again.

2022-02-06This locations service department has been consistently good. They usually have our cars ready as quickly as possible. The onsite lounge is comfortable and clean. The intake service writers are friendly and helpful. The only ones who can stand to be a bit friendlier are the cashiers when they check you out.

Despite the fact that it was busy, Nick Toscano was able to get me in and resolved the issue in a timely manner. Outstanding customer service! 2022-05-28We were in search of a 2022 Toyota Sienna Platinum, which proved difficult to come by. Very few dealerships were able to get them in. I was recommended to them by another customer. They took my info and every time a new allocation came in Claire called us. We placed a deposit down over the phone and filled out an application online. Which was a big deal because other dealers required you to come in person and some were more than an hour away (one of the main reasons we stuck with Clovis). When the van was built and shipped they called right away. We drove the 2 hours to the dealership and from the moment we arrived, customer service was nothing but excellent. We came with financing already but the Finance Manager was able to get us an even better interest rate and we were able to aadd on a extended service agreement. They even put a large bow on the vehicle and took our picture and sent it to us; which was really sweet. Additionally we ordered all weather mats and the dealer shipped them to our house so we didn’t have to make the drive. Ultimately their customer service was beyond excellent.

2022-05-30Me and my mom were looking at cars late at night and happened upon one at this dealer that caught my eye. I joked to my mom that I was going to dream about the car. Following morning I contacted them for availability to schedule a test drive everything of that nature, and Thai was the one to walk us through that. He wasn’t pushy, only helpful, and when we were concerned about a noise it was making he reassured us by starting another car of the same exact model. Even though our time there wasn’t short, which was an issue on our end with our bank, Thai was helpful and patient and helped us all day. I’m so happy with this purchase and it happened to be exactly what I needed!

2022-05-12I don’t usually write reviews but because I’m a satisfied customer, I’m writing one. First, setting up an appointment via email with a follow up text message was very satisfactory. Then comes the appointment day. I wasn’t sure who to meet or if assigned to a salesman but Roger Vann was accommodating, friendly, pleasant and professional. He was able to work with me throughout the car buying process. The finance person (sorry I didn’t get your name) was pleasant and easy to have conversation with especially when it came to “numbers”. It didn’t take too long to get the keys of the minivan that I have been searching for since last year. Thank you Toyota of Clovis.
