Went to ER after i had a minor concussion and required laceration on my chin. Staff were so friendly and efficient! They handled my case so swiftly even though there were a lot of patients in over the weekend. I cannot thank and commend them enough. My husband and I truly appreciate the care shown to us! We’re so grateful for the wonderful service.

Torrance Memorial Burn, Wound Healing & Amputation Prevention Center doctors, nurses, and staff are great. I’m especially grateful for the care Dr. Matthew Reiss provided my son over the last two years. It’s no wonder this hospital is ranked #1 in the South Bay. I’m certain Dr. Reiss is #1 in his specialty. Thanks for your expertise and the respect afforded patients in need. 👏👏👏

Excellent care! Dr. Brett and the nurses took great care of me. I had An infection from a cat bite. I wish I could remember my nurses names. All the staff was great! Thank you.

I first visited the E.R in extreme near black out pain, and my abdominal condition required me to be admitted right away to the Hospital for a 5 day stay. The E.R was busy with limited seating but moved efficiently. The E.R Doctor. Dr. Brett Lorber was upbeat and ready to help. We both had a basic understanding of my issue and we placed a friendly wager on what the tests would reveal. He had my E.R nurse Dennis install an NG tube in me next. For those of you who have not had this done it is an extremely difficult process that you will never want to go through in your life. If I have to ever do that again I will travel any distance just to have Dennis do it. He really helped me get through it, and motivated me in a dark moment to pull through and get it done. Once this was complete I was admitted to the Hospital. My first Doctor in transition was Dr Kim Nguyen. She comforted me and helped manage my expectations and debriefed me on what was coming next, and then she got me into a make shift shared room. This was very cramped but I was loaded on Morphine which helped me get through the makeshift surroundings. My first 2 nights were difficult and I was a terror on the Morphine. My night nurse Myra recognized this and took me under her wing. She was instrumental in getting my head straight over the next 2 nights. I must apologize deeply to the nurses I lashed out at in pain in my Morphined altered personality. Eventually Myra got me my own room and I started my comeback. My Day nurses Shermel, Jule, & Dania, worked hard with my two Hospital staff Doctors, Dr Mak, and my surgeon Dr. Jim Camel to get me to the finish line. Dr. Mak is a highly capable Doctor who commands the room as good as anyone. Dr. Camel is a local legend and his presence alone gave you confidence that you were getting the best strategy and processes possible. In the end I was able to get out a day early which was a huge relief of stress. If I forgot any other names of the people who helped, just know I am thankful. I have read many reviews on the hospital and they are always so polarizing. I would say step back and breathe before you throw out a negative review once your head clears from the heat of battle. In the end great people are doing their best to get you back up to full strength and cooler heads prevail. I know at times I was miserable and thought the worst. In the end however the Torrance Memorial staff were responsible for my comeback and helped me to help them to help me. If I have one complaint it can only be the constant loud noise of the large doors to various supply rooms etc closing all day and night. Sleep without meds was difficult because of this. I would also like to mention the Xray dept was great and I was there a lot. There is no doubt that Torrance Memorial is the best in LA county, and its not even close. Again thank you to all and I will be forever grateful for the care you provided me and my recovery.

This place is so great. I’ve had both babies here and taken them here when “life” happened. The doctors and nurses are always so kind. I don’t have one complaint.

No one answers the phone at “Centralized Scheduling”. Holding forever. Message says press 1 to leave a message or remain on the line, but then rings and gives a new message to continue to hold or that they will call back the next business day or as soon as possible, then the cycle repeats. Dr’s office said I have an appoint for Wednesday at 11am, then got a text message from TMMC saying I’m scheduled for 11am on Friday the week after, followed by a second text message saying I’m scheduled for Friday at 1pm. I am not in town on Friday but am unable to get a hold of anyone to correct the appointment. Still holding Friday afternoon since 2:20pm, finally got some to answer at 3:03pm only to be told I need to telll the Dr”s office to contact them for rescheduling.😡🤬

This is a review for pediatric speech therapy. It is located at West Tower at 3325 Medical Center Dr. 5th floor. We received an appointment for speech therapy in less than a week. The first visit was for a speech evaluation. It was conducted by Suzanne and her assistant.Speech services are professional and fun.Parents can browse in the gift shop or have a snack at the cafeteria. The cafeteria is at the second story of the West Tower. Soup is about $2.80 a cup.

My dad was in the hospital for covid and they literally gave him nothing and sent us a huge bill later. He had pneumonia and they didnt treat the pneumonia and told him to come back if his oxygen got low. When I spoke to my dad on the phone he sounded very upset and described it as being a death chanber. He was upset he wasnt getting the proper treatment. Its ironic my mom had the same thing and she was treated with antibiotics and got better
