I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FACILITY!!!! I’ve been a patient here for years. Every single associate here is so nice! They do great work. This office made me feel extremely comfortable coming to the dentist. All of my procedures have been either painless or with very minimal pain.Shout out to my crew Rosemarie, Gaby, Caesar, Ronnie, Oscar, Manfredo and my fantastic Orthodontis Mrs. Karen Massih!!I truly love you all here !!!!! After being a patient for ~5 years my family and I will be seeking another dentist. The business has been slowly declining and its apparent that they are solely interested in taking your money. If you are an existing patient/ customer I urge you to know your insurance coverages and check with your insurance what they are submitting. Prices are higher then allowed and on more than one occasion, they had tried to pin a deductible on me last minute. They are not trying to look out for your teeth or well being- they are concerned FAR more with making money. To provide you an example, when I had a crown done- they tried to upsell me 5 times. 5 different times, 2 times by one person and then they sent someone else to try and convince me and she insisted 3 times. Even after I said no twice she said think about it and offered again after she did a teeth clearing. Notice also that if you have your teeth cleaned there, they will ALWAYS try and upsell something that is minimal covered or not covered at all. The worst is that even after a cleaning- you have to ASK for mouth wash. I stayed with them as long as I did because I didnt want to deal with looking for someone else, but any other dentist would be better then this one at this point. Do not waste your time here.
Everything from beginning to end was fantastic! The staff are all very friendly and help you feel comfortable. The oral surgeon was friendly as well and very knowledgeable. The procedure for my daughter was a breeze. Cant rave enough about our experience!
I took my daughter in for a small filling today and had such a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. They made sure my daughter was comfortable and helped her feel calm during the whole process which is more that we could ask for. They talked her through the process and made sure to keep the conversation going. I would highly recommend them to other parents with kids who tend to dread going to the dentist since they helped my daughter enjoy the experience.
Clean office, punctual, and well mannered staff. I felt very comfortable walking into the office for all of these reasons listed. Could improve in giving more feedback to the patient. I was expecting to hear more details/ comments about my son’s teeth since it was his first visit.
I had an appointment for 12 pm I showed up 15 minutes late but I was told my appointment was going to take an hour so they couldn’t squeeze me in. I show up for the rescheduled appointment and they make me wait an HOUR before being seen, mind you I showed up EXACTLY on time. Then to top it all off my appointment didn’t even last 20 minutes…This orthodontist is very unprofessional do not go to them.
Ive been going to this dentist for several years and am very satisfied with the quality of the care I have received. They do excellent work, and are very considerate when it comes to the pain and discomfort I experience from the procedures. My best friend recommended this dentist and Im glad she did.
The place was clean, the stuff was very nice, helpful. The doctor was quick and kind.I took my 12 years old son there. They took out 2 teeth about 10 minutes. Amazing job!
Torrance Dental is taking every precaution to make sure everyone is as safe as possible during this pandemic. Everyone is required to wear masks, they ask you questions about your health when you confirm your appointment on the phone, and the front door remains locked until they let you in. It may seem excessive to some, but I truly appreciate the extra safety steps taken. As always, I had a great experience with the staff and doctors. I highly recommend Torrance Dental!
I have basically been seen by every Dr. here and they are all amazing! Dental assistants are very kind and knowledgeable as well! Front office staff is very friendly and efficient! I love this place! I’ve referred friends and family here and they have all said good things! Very accommodating! Extremely clean!!!! Seem to follow and exceed covid guidelines and recommendations! This place will surpass your expectations! 😁👏🏽
I really enjoy coming to Torrance Dental Associates. I have been to many different Dental offices and Torrance Dental Assoc. is the best. The front desk staff are very professional and always so inviting when I walk in. I feel very comfortable whenever I come to get my routine teeth cleanings or any procedures done. I know how nerve wrecking going to the dentist can be from my experience. I’ve had root canals, cavities filled, etc. done in the past. I’ve been going to Torrance Dental since I was a teenager, but during my 20’s I had gotten my own insurance so unfortunately I had to go to a different dental office and let me say I really missed Torrance Dental Assoc. I am now in my 30’s and so happy to be back at Torrance Dental Assoc. I highly recommend this dental office. Great staff and very caring professional working dentist.
I was very pleased with the service my son received from this office. Everyone was informative and helpful. The only thing that needs improvement is the wait time. My sons appointment was scheduled for 10am, his surgery begin at 1pm. Overall, I would recommend this office for a job well done, I know that his case was complicated.
Torrance Dental Associates is an amazing dental office! Everyone that works in there is caring, professional, and timely! There are no long waits to get into your appointment. I have had terrible experiences in the past, so I dread going to the dentist. Dr. Sako has changed all that! He always explains what he going to do and I always leave happy! I came to this dental office for a dental emergency because my dentist can’t see me. I am a very satisfied and happy patient after my appointment with them. First, they were able to get me in for an appointment with a short notice. Secondly, I am very greatful to Dr. Sako and his staff for helping me and attending to my needs. Dr. Sako is very pleasant, accommodating, and fixed my teeth in no time. Manfredo, the dental hygienist is very helpful and excellent with his job. And lastly, the front staff are great, helpful, and polite. I highly recommend Torrance Dental Associates!
I don’t give them one star because the service they used to provide wasn’t as bad as it is now. I was going to them for years until I started seeing the quality was no longer there in the dentists. I tried a few of their dentists out and I hated them all until Dr. Pilares took care of me very well the first couple of times. But down to the second to last time(I had to pay for the treatment; weakened enamel) he was pretty okay but this last appointment he did a horrible job to where now one of my front teeth is shorter than the other; so me paying for this service and now being left worse is upsetting. His DA was amazing but unfortunately you go to the office for the doctor not the DA. My mother did attend here as well because we thought they were good but she’s switching elsewhere with me since she’s had a couple of complaints about Dr. Pilares and others. It’s seems as if the Doctor just wants to get the job done and go, not how it should be. Now onto the front office, definitely can try to be kinder. Some don’t speak Spanish...Overall wouldn’t recommend this office.
Hi, I have going to TD for years. They are very professional and friendly. I have recommended them to other people and will continue to do so. I was very freaked out the first time I had to go with coronavirus and I am amazed at the precautions that they take. I have been there three times since coronavirus and allIs well. KidosTD.
My daughter who is now 5 is always so comfortable at this dental office. I have been bring her here for about 2 years and everyone is always sooo nice and friendly.With the current pandemic you have to worry about if its even safe to go to your regular doctors office let alone the dentist. But they do an excellent job making sure everyone is safe...Thanks sooo much. We will see you in 6 months.
Very professional workers from the front desk to the dental assistants and the surgeon. Very nice people, explained everything. Fast x-rays and fast tooth extraction! The surgeon took out my tooth in just one second, I didn’t feel a thing :)
Best assessment and cleaning I’ve ever had. Thank you to the hygienist (Korean female), I think her name was Heidi. Of course Dr. Sako as always is the best, he’s done multiple cavities for me and root canals and always is so patient and kind. I love this office!
My visit was pleasant. Due to Covid-19 many procedures have changed to protect the patients health and the staff. But overall I would recommend Torrance Dental to family members and co-workers. Keep up the excellent work Torrance Dental you all are doing and excellent job. 👍 🦷 🥰
The dentist and staff were explaining their treatment on me precisely and was very friendly. Since I called the wrong number to inform my arrival, I had to wait. When I knock at the door and explained my situation, the staff called me in soon. They are supportive to patients.
My crown fell off while eating, was referred by a friend to Torrance Dental Assoc. Took me in pretty quickly which I really appreciated. Going back in a couple of weeks for an extraction, tooth wasnt unsavable. I Like that everything is in same facility. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
I always have a pleasant experience with the staff everytime i come in to get my teeth cleaned. I always feel relaxed and not nervous . Everyone is friendly and professional. And the office is very clean. I have been coming to this place for about 20 years. I highly recommend this place.
I would highly recommend this office. We have seen two of their pediatric dentists for my two daughters, ages 3 and 5. They are great with kids. The staff are all extremely patient, friendly, and gentle. They dont make little kids sit for a longer time than is reasonable and they are able, yet they still do a thorough enough job cleaning their teeth. We have never waited for more than 15 minutes in the waiting room. There are TVs with cartoons playing in the exam room and a chair for mom or dad to sit in beside their child. They even give a small toy to the kids when they are all finished. The desk staff is friendly and personable. Cant recommend them enough.
No lie... this is the only dentist I will go to! I started with them maybe 4-5 years ago and every single experience has been fantastic! I really love the bald dentist he has a way of making me 😃 but seriously everyone I have worked with has been great and Ive had some serious work done. Never felt anything more than the lil anesthesia pinches... going to them seriously made me wonder what people say that root canals are terrible... I literally felt nothing got home and didnt even need a motrin.Theyre not cheap... but you get what you pay for and the services are worth every penny.Side note Ill started brushing 3x a day now cause baybeeee I cannot afford to pay to save another tooth🤦🏾♀️😂 a lesson has been learned 🙃

The staff is great. The girls in the front are awesome. The only issue I had was the wait time. My appointment was at 11am and I wasnt seen until 1:16pm I know the fell behind but that was a bit ridiculous. The only reason I stayed was because I had already requested the time off work. After I was finally got called in, it all went smoothly. But I will give a 4 star cause of the girls in the front, they are very friendly.
Torrance Dental Associates offers great dental services. They are timely in providing services with an appointment. Providers are compassionate and efficient. They are a non pressure group. If you need extended services there are not covered by your plan, they don’t pressure you or call you every week. I love my Dentist. Let me tell you, due to a very bad childhood experience, I have to practically be medicated to go to the dentist. My appointment was stellar yesterday! I did not cry, scream, or flip out. The dentist was extremely gentle. He walked me through the procedure and I left with a smile on my face. The dentist will never be my favorite place but, its good to know that I have finally found a place where I can go and leave my anxiety at home. I wanted to hug him when I left, lol.
Initially, this appointment started off well. It wasnt for me, it was for my daughter. They seemed to be running a bit behind as they had the other side of the office (the adult side?) help out with x-rays for a little boy in front of us. That was okay, I didnt mind waiting as I was told by my primary dentist that they were great with kids and I was just excited to finally get the work my daughter needed done. Everyone at the office was very nice, but I started to get a little nervous after waiting with my already anxious and nervous daughter for a little over an hour listening to another child behind a door screaming the entire time. But I get it - my kid happens to be terrified of the dentist too, and thats why I was there; my regular dentist refused to work on a child who was freaking out. Fast forward through her cleaning and exam from the dentist - everything was still going well- I was presented with a treatment plan for her and asked to go ahead with sealant for her adult teeth but was going to find a facility that offered sedation for the big stuff she needs done. Unfortunately, the dentist decided to leave while I was waiting for the treatment plan. He just left. For lunch. In the middle of our appointment, after he told me hed be waiting to see what we decided. The receptionist asked me if I minded waiting for him to come back, which I politely declined. I was beyond frustrated that I spent two hours there only to have the dentist walk out on me and my daughter in the middle of our appointment.
Im so happy i found this dental office! First off the receptionist are so nice, i went in to have 2 wisdom teeth extracted, they were so welcoming. The xray tech was extremely nice as well made me feel comfortable through out the xray session. Now lets get to the actual procedure! Dr. Arce was amazing!!!! He is very straight forward lol but nice! He explains everything so well and lets you know what he is doing, i loved him! I don’t know if i just heal well, but i didn’t even get swollen nor bruised the extraction didn’t take more than 20 min! I was so amazed, and the dental assistant i wished i remember his name he is sooo nice as well! Im just very happy that i found this office, so if your looking for an amazing specialist don’t look any further!! Thank you all so much at the office.
My experience with Torrance Dental Associate was a good and positive visit. I had a problem during the Covid virus 19 Pandemic shutdown. Ihad wait until it was safe to come in. They took care of me in a safe and professional way. Protecting me and themselves. I was impressed with the way followed the guidelines in keeping Safe.
I have never had a bad experience with the dentist here. Everyone is very kind, professional, and pleasant. The dentist are very knowledgeable and experienced. They take great care in making sure you understand the procedure performed and follow up care. I highly recommend Torrance Dental Associates.

I have been going here for 5 years and they have been tremendous every time. Dr. Sako has a great chair-side manner and is willing to explain and discuss every aspect of my treatment as much as I need until I’m comfortable. My ONLY criticism is that the staff doesn’t introduce themselves and explain what they are there to do.
Friendly & knowledgeable staff. They run a tight schedule, never had to wait past my appointment time & they dont leave you sitting in the chair for extended time periods. Ive only had my teeth cleaned & it was a good experience.
I have been going here for over 10 years. I have always had a positive experience with the doctors and staff. They all have been very professional and informative to me. If I have a dental issue, the problem would be corrected immediately. If I needed documentation for insurance or reimbursement, it was emailed to me promptly. If I needed to reschedule any appointments, it was done on the requested day and time that I needed. Lastly, this facility keeps up with all the latest dental technology.

Dental office is clean and state of the art. Staff members are nice and extremely accommodating (including the accounts payable and scheduling ladies). Lots of smiles! 😊 Dr. Nicole handled all my procedures along with Christine and Cesar. They answered all my questions and concerns and took good care of me.Only downside is (depending on the time of day), parking could be an issue. Leave early!Highly recommend TDA if you live in or near the South Bay area!

I managed to swallow a crown at 3:30 on December 23rd. TDA got me in and sent me home with a temporary crown by 5:05 the same day. I am so grateful that I didnt have to spend the holidays with a big hole in my mouth.Everyone was very nice to me, especially considering the only thing between them and heading home for the holiday was my mouth.
Would of been nice if I was told that I couldnt take my other kids with me before i got there. Even though the door states the only exception for anyone else entering besides patient and parent is for minors or people with disabilities. They asked if I could leave my 11 and 12 year old in the car by themselves, it was 85 degrees outside. Also, appointment was at 330pm got there at 320pm, wasnt seen until just after 430. Glad I argued to let my kids in and didnt leave them in the car waiting that long.

I had some serious problems with my teeth and a phobia to go with it. From the minute I got there the staff had already started putting me at ease and the best dentists!!! Best surgeon I ever had and mostly pain free over night. I was blessed to have them help me. Thank you so much!
The entire staff is kind and responsive to patients. Dr. Sako is fabulous! Our family have been patients for many years. I would like to comment that I’ve noticed that some of the facilities are in need of repair, cleaning, or upgrade (i.e, broken outlet covers and wires along the floor that should be hidden by molding).

I had an appt at 8am 9/23/2020 and was denied services behind an error on their office behalf. NO ONE informed me what number to call to check-in nor the correct suite number according to the address to be seen. I been calling for an hour left a message trying to check-in ONLY to be denied services with an offer of an appt a month out. Very Unprofessional, Inadequate, Disorganized, and Poor patient accommodation.
The Torrance Dental staff were welcoming, professional and very personable. I wasnt pressured to get any unnecessary procedures like at other dental places Ive been to. They answered all my questions and were genuinely honest. Im glad I found them and I highly recommend them!
I have been a patient here for about 10 years. Dr. Sako is awesome! He is kind and caring and the staff is great! I used to dread going to the dentist when I was a kid because it was painful. Coming here has been painless and my kids are happy with Dr. Sako as well probably for the same reason LOL (we didn’t care for the pediatric side years ago but maybe it’s changed since). The friends that I have referred to Dr. Sako thanked me and are happy too! The only negative reviews I’ve read about Torrance dental associates in the past were that their sales team will try to sell you a bunch of services you may or may not need on your initial visit, which may be a big turn off to some people. I don’t see any recent reviews like that so maybe they don’t do that anymore? But don’t worry you don’t have to buy anything extra if you don’t want to. Don’t let that deter you from coming here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place and LOVE my dentist!
Perfect experience for my implant. Dr. Palacios set the anchor and screw with ease. I’m a big teddy bear and the staff kept me at ease. They showed complete professionalism and Dr. Palacios is an extreme expert at his profession. Thank you for the great comfort!
Saw the dentist at almost the exact appointment time. Didnt wait very long between procedures. ( exrays, cleaning, polishing, and protective coating) I was out of the office in Leeds than an hour. Professional, well coordinated, informative and friendly.
The doctor is out for the money and doesn’t consult the referring dentist on treatment. DON’T get anything done there! They were supposed to put bone in my mouth but the bone came out in my mouth and felt like gravel and rocks in my mouth. I am going to ADA, BBB and will give bad reviews forever. Word of month is powerful! Please, don’t let these butchers ruin your teeth!
Wow such a great service. I went there feeling unease that I was going to get a lot of painful shots before they start working on me but instead they used a numbing spray that worked like a magic. I felt no pain whatsoever. Dr. Sako and his team were great. I am not scared of dead cleaning any more.
Well, the reception and the assistant was really nice and friendly but Dr. Arce is really arrogant. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not Hispanic or what. I heard him talking in the other room and he seem nice to other Hispanic patient. They all speaking Spanish the whole time it doesn’t bother me but I’d very much appreciate if they tell me something.. a little heads up. One girl just put the mask on me and I suddenly feel dizzy so I was thinking is she drugging me already must be nice if she tell me something prior. Then the Surgeon came in and just saying open your mouth, wider, in a tone like someone cannot understand. I understood perfectly and would be easier to open and close it if It’s not so numb you know 🤷🏻♀️ He pressed the affected area and I kinda pushed his hand a bit. I was surprised he didn’t say anything. Most of the dentist or doctor they will say something to let you know what they’re about to do. It was an initial reaction and then he started talking to me in an irritated tone “don’t press my hand coz I might injure you” then don’t surprise me DOC!!! That moment I just wanted to jump out of the seat and leave.. if I didn’t wait 3 weeks for this appointment. Not gonna go back for sure! And definitely not recommending it to people I care about.
I had an appointment and couldnt get an appointment to get a pano x-ray. They gave me an appointment the next day. No questions and no extra charge. This place is as amazing as the people that work there. Great place, I recommend it

Receive my new permanent crown today jaw and mouth a little sore to early to tell if it is good or will need a adjustment. Dentist office was clean and safety precaution were in place and being practiced.
Went there for the first time a couple days ago. All the staff was very professional and knowledgeable. My routine check-up and cleaning was done without me having to wait for anyone. And most importantly, no one tried to sell me on extra service like most other places.
I had a full mouth extraction and my surgery went smoothly. The only reason why I am giving 1 star instead of 5 is because I visited them for an x ray to get approval from insurance for my surgery at the beginning of the year. They had 4 months to call me to inform me that my insurance does not cover the Alveoplasty that would be needed in conjunction with the extractions. They had 4 months to call me to tell me that I would need to pay $150 dollars. But NO, they did not. They did not tell me I would need to pay this $150 until I was already hooked up to bp, pulse oximeter, and heart monitor machines pre surgery. I felt very manipulated by this tactic and I feel like they did this on purpose , because they feared that if they had called me and informed me that I would need to pay $150 that I might have backed out of my surgery and they would have lost out on an even bigger amount of money. That was extremely insensitive and unprofessional of them.

I want the owner of this place read this review. There is an Asian doctor (probably dr.Sako everyone mentioning here) who works here, he is very rude and takes things personal when it doesnt go his way.Due to health hazard of radiations, I refused xray, BECAUSE: He didnt accept my two weeks old xray from other dental, insisted on retaking (to charge my insurance?) even though I had crystal clear whole mouth fresh xray. I like the place, but that guy ruins my mood everytime I go there.However, gum specialist lady, she is very nice.Now, I called my insurance to change my dental provider and this new location did accept my xray and Im very happy with them.

The dentist and dental assistants did an excellent job with my teeth cleaning and they explained the Covigen rules they followed in their teeth cleaning procedure. I couldnt be more pleased.

I went for my appointment and the dental office was closed. I received an appt confirmation text from the office 2 days prior. There was another customer who was just as baffled the office wasn’t open. Notifying me that the office was closing would have been nice
Dr Jorge Arce dds was very aggressive and rude I suffer from severe anxiety couldn’t leave my house for a while because I would have panic attacks he yelled at me to stop because I was shaking and crying and aggressivelyTold me I’m only making it worse on my self I tried explaining to him I can’t calm down I have anxiety but couldn’t he kept insisting if I wanted to I could calm down ! Hello anxiety doesn’t work like that ... the ladiesIn the front desk were amazing very professional but the girl in the back helping him was also very aggressive and didn’tSeem to know what she was doing my blood pressure was extremely high she said they would take it agin and they never did after telling me I could have a stroke ... would never come here again or recommend to anyone again the ladies in the front where great!!

2022-02-11I called cause my daughter needed a dentist today. They asked for my insurance and said ok we can make an appointment for next week. I said no thank u, I need one for today and ended call. Found another dentist for her then called them back to schedule a routine appointment for my son who went there once before and the office ignored my calls and sent to voicemail. Called from my house phone and she answered right away and I explained that my daughter needed an appointment sooner but that my son could use the appointment for next wk that she had offered and she said we are not accepting new patients. I told her my son had been there before then she said we don’t take ur insurance, I told her they were on my list and she said no. Very disappointed in the offices staff.
