This garden is amazing. People that own a garden and are working their gardens are nice and friendly. I asked one Garden owner how much was he paying monthly. $350 yearly with water bill included but the waiting list is long, he said. Cant wait to have my own garden to grow my vegetables here. It is also a place to walk, run, ride a horse and many other activities.

This community garden is close to the boarder on Hollister in south bay. Most plots are 30x30 and can be leased yearly. The wait list is long. Our co-op shares a plot and we love it. Kids have learned a lot. We have harvested beets, kale, tomatoes, peppers, squash, beans and more. If you dont have much of a yard you should consider joining the community garden!

This is a hidden gem in south san diego. This area offers a great variety of trail heads, parks, ponds, hills and different views north and south of the border. The terrain is ideal for horse riding, hiking and mountain biking. Bird watching. + + All trails leading westbound end up on the pacific ocean. The border statefield park is one of a kind..you will see!! This is the most southwest point in the United States. Come check it out, and enjoy cool trails along the 🇺🇸 🇲🇽 border.👍

Love this garden, people are friendly and if the river scent does not come in you can smell all the wonderful produce and flowers abound!

Most of the time the entire area smells of raw sewer freely flowing thru to the ocean from Tijuana, especially when it rains, mornings and nights, very unhealthy. During the day the horse flies are aggressive. Mosquitos deserve a new clasification for their size and will eat you alive. The city is slowly taking over and as one park ranger put it, it all belongs to the city. Between the city, Border Patrol and Navy we will be lucky if a trail to walk on will be left. Gone are the days we could drive all the way to border park monument, ride, walk, run thru all the land freely! I dont recommend Primos Stables, RV & Trailer, Horse Training & Handeling.

Fabulous place to exercise, see nature. Saw the male Vermillion Flycatcher today walking around the ball fields. Lotsa games of kids soccer today. Play areas especially for toddlers have been completed, add to the joyful atmosphere of the park.
