I went here with my sister for 2 or so years in highschool, the teachers/faculty I knew were all nice. My favourite teacher Mr. Johnston was either fired/left the same year I did and I doubt he was replaced by anyone as great. Ms. Marsh is a good math teacher but seemed to struggle a bit with teaching more one on one and explaining problems in different ways . Mrs. Hering was a great Spanish teacher and made class fun and tried to make everything class involved even if it was online which was a great idea but most of the time it didnt really work as planned. Mrs. Magner was okay, I dont know what her position was but she managed teachers/students fairly well. I built raised garden boxes at this site for my Eagle Scout project in either 2014 or 2015 so the classes could have a mini community garden. I havent been back to check out the site but I hope theyre still in place.

This Charter School is so effective & successful that I drive from Los Angeles. They honestly set you up to succeed. You would have to intentionally sabotage yourself to not succeed. Yes! It turns out countless students that go on to be ambassadors to colleges in other Countries, featured on Americas Got Talent, a student was 1 of 15 girls nationwide to be accepted to a famous ballet company in London. There are many, many more stories just like these about students from The Springs Charter Schools. My only regret is not yanking my daughter from the clutches of the LAUSD years ago! Its okay though. Where they failed her, she is already showing vast improvements in those areas. She is acknowledged for her success & is now flourishing in all areas of her academia.

Our kids have attended this charter learning center for three years. Three in high school and junior high and one in kinder. It is a smaller learning center than we has been at before and had pros and cons in that. Some amazing teachers here include Ms. Perez, Ms. Marsh, Ms. Hering and Mr. Sorenson (who is now at riverside site). Some great staff, too. Some of the kids at the school struggle with motivation, discipline, respect, but that is going to be anywhere. There have been some things we have had to work through here, but its been a good place for our kids.

Its a small, family environment where children are not expected to learn inside the box, but instead, allowed to learn in many different ways. Every school has things you wish were different, but here, the benefits out way the small annoyances by far. Easy drop off and pick up. Cute and crisp classrooms. Multi age classrooms.

Absolutely Awful!! Nightmare of an experience. Unqualified teachers should not have anything to do with childrens future.
