Ron is hands down the most amazing trainer! I cannot say enough good things about him. He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of how the body works, nutrition, safety, and what works and what doesnt. Ron is also very supportive and kind. Its soooo good to know that you have someone who always has your back and has your best interests at heart. He genuinely wants you to succeed at your goals and improve your health. During our workouts, I always feel challenged but never feel its too much. I feel challenged at just the right amount because he tailors the sessions to my physical abilities. Working out with Ron is one of the things I most look forward to during the week. I always leave the gym feeling like I am finally able to be in control of my own destiny and health.Ive already lost over 10lbs of body fat after training with him in a short amount of time. My clothes are fitting better and my energy level has gone up because my body is building lean muscle. When I first started, I could barely do a sit up, but recently I was able to do 10 sets of sit ups and squats. I cannot explain how much joy that fact brings me. Theres still a lot of hard work until I reach my goals, but for the first time, I feel empowered that I am actually able to reach those goals with Rons help. If you are considering personal training, you have to try training with Ron because there is no comparison to him.
Ron Le Fitness is a good gym. The trainers there were friendly and knowledgeable, and felt like they were on my team. They have just moved to a new facility, which is an improvement. Before getting involved here, I had not spent much time in a gym--basically starting from zero. They took it slow, taught me the ropes, and I gained 15 pounds of muscle in 6 weeks. Thanks yall! Keep it up.
I started training with Ron September of 2016, since I lost the motivation to exercise on my own and gained some weight. In just 6 weeks, I lost 10 pounds, which I never thought was possible for me! The exercises & meal plan that Ron recommended really helped. Fast forward to almost 3 years later since I started training with him, Ive become stronger and I notice that my body has become even more toned, especially my back and arms, which was all just flabby before lol. I can even do 5-6 chin ups, which I never thought Id be able to do. With that said, he really pushes me to work hard, and he has always been very knowledgeable whenever I had any questions. Thank you Ron!
Ive been training with Ron for about 5 months now and I can honestly say hes awesome. Ive never worked out consistently in the gym, or even done a deadlift and now Im in the best shape of my life, know the proper form for all the main compound barbell movements and on my way to getting the 6-pack abs that I want! The thing with Ron is that he is really into efficiency. Hes worked with so many different clients that he can help you achieve almost any fitness goal you have. Thats the biggest difference between him and others that Ive realized. Book knowledge doesnt mean anything if you havent applied it on real people since everyone is different.Prior to Ron, I had a personal trainer for a couple sessions at 24 hour fitness and it just seemed like they didnt really care about me or my progress.Ron will weigh me every week, text me to make sure Im eating right and doing my cardio and make adjustments on the fly depending on how much progress Im making.Ive even had injuries at some point from other sports, and hell adjust the workout based on that to help me not only recover but still get a solid workout. The biggest thing that Ive gotten from Ron is that he created a custom workout schedule and meal plan for me thats SUSTAINABLE - i.e. I dont dread doing it every week. He doesnt push me to spend 2-3 hours in the gym because he believes with the right meal plan and intensity I can get results in MUCH less time.HOWEVER, he will also kick my ass (in the gym) on some days - and I feel great afterwards! He mixes up all the workouts everyday to keep it interesting. If youre looking for someone who knows their stuff, is super friendly and will make sure you get the results you want, Ron is your man. I would recommend him hands down.
Ive been training with Ron for about 2 weeks now (5 sessions) and have signed up to train with him for 3 months. While it may seem too early to write a review, his positive attitude, knowledge, and commitment to his profession are apparent, deserve a lot of respect and thus he has earned this review. Ive tried other personal trainers in the area who made me almost pass out within the first 30 minutes of our first session. The problem: not one took the time to assess 2 basic things (1) my fitness goals (2) my fitness level. Most of the other trainers in the area were difficult to get in touch with, awkwardly pushy, and seemed more eager and interested in getting a consulting fee before even discussing my fitness goals. That wasnt the case with Ron. We spoke multiple times about what my fitness goals were and what I wanted to get out of training. He then suggested I come in for a free training session so that I could see first-hand what kind of training I would be subjecting myself to and so that he could assess my fitness level. Based on this session, he gave me his recommendations and essentially told me what kind of training I would be engaged in and what to expect. It should be noted that Rons rates are fair, and much more reasonable than other area trainers. The truth is, that while any type of personal training is more expensive than an ordinary gym membership, I now recognize that its a worthwhile investment for the sake of your health.Ron is a great trainer and the gym is a wonderful facility. His knowledge level, desire to learn, desire to grow professionally, and his true understanding of the physical mechanics of the human body is demonstrated in his ability to train and motivate clients of varying levels. He is incredibly adept at striking the right balance of motivating you to stretch your limits, while stressing proper technique to ensure that old injuries do not occur again. He willing shares his fitness and nutritional expertise to make the session fun, challenging, and a learning experience. He is easy to relate to, easily accessible, always punctual, and has a good sense of humor which helps to motivate me. I highly recommend Ron to anyone looking for a great trainer. Ive already started to see the results and look forward to what the next couple months of training will bring. If you decide to go with him, hell tailor your routine to help you reach your goals, and give you the motivation, tools, and empowerment you need to become fitter overall - even when youre working out on your own.
I first came across Rons ad on Instagram and immediately got draw his energy and thats what made me decide to look more into this program. After checking out the facility and seeing and reading about all the transformations, I decided to jumped on board the 6 week challenge to help jumpstart me back into a more active/health lifestyle. What I really liked about the program was that the trainers really want you to meet your goal and dont take it easy on you during the class sessions. What I like most about the program is the fact that the class has a cap size - no more than 15 individuals per class session. That means the trainer is able to really focus on everyone because she/he doesnt have tons of individuals to look after.Their nutrition plan is very easy to follow and its very straight forward. After following the nutrition plan and attending all the classes I was able to drop 6 % body fat and 20 lbs. I couldnt be more happier with the results. If it wasnt because I moved from the Pasadena area, I wouldve definitely continued with Rons transformation program. Thanks Ron! I really appreciate everything you did for me over the course of the 6 weeks.
Ve recently finished my 6 weeks challenge at Ron Le Fitness. Let me just tell you, if youre looking for results, you will get them here. Its not easy, but if you follow the diet plan and the fitness routine (3x a week), you will see results. Ron is great and the trainers are awesome, too. They all challenge and push you. I had a calf injury and they modified my exercises for a couple of weeks. So, no matter what your fitness level, they will help you reach your goal. I lost 14.2 lbs and dropped 7.6% in Body Fat. And thats in 6 WEEKS, Its nothing. What are you waiting for? In 6 six weeks, you could see a significance difference in your body. Im really happy with the results. Again, the plan is easy to follow and the exercise routine is not overwhelming, you go to the gym 3x a week and see amazing results.
You want to train with Ron Le.Having been in the market for personal trainers for years, I can tell you that Ron is the best. He will insist on proper form, not allowing you to get lazy. This is a subtle, but highly important detail. Its hard at first, but I have been surprised at how much faster the gains are coming since Ron corrected my incorrect form after years of lifting. Proper form yields results. The fastest way to what you want is straight from point A to point B. You have to put in the hours, and do the work. Ron will keep you on that path, away from the misinformation out there that can hinder or reverse your progress. Rons knowledge of fitness and nutrition is the closest thing to a short cut that you will find in the gym. There are other benefits that your only going to get with this guy. If you are serious about changing yourself, the right mentality might be the most important factor of all to your success. Rons clients make huge changes to themselves, and can help you tweak your mentality if thats an issue. Moreover, he worked his way up from not being strong (years ago) to being the strongest person I know. He can help you find the right attitude. As far as my personal stats, Ron took me from a very skinny 155 lbs to 192 lbs and looking jacked with my shirt off. This happened in about 8 months. Having tried my hand at lifting before, I can tell you that I am in way better shape than when I was lifting on my own.Dont be afraid to hire a trainer, there is a reason that even professional athletes have MULTIPLE trainers. My increases in strength are ridicules when compared to my solo days at the gym, when I was moving weights with terrible form, and not really making any progress.I will say in conclusion that Ron will take you to where you want to go, and if he cant then you need to check yourself.
I first joined Ron Les: A Better Me Fitness bootcamp in February 2017. I was in a post-breakup stage but also the most out of shape I had been. I found them via Instagram and proceeded to do my research on this company and read their reviews. I was still skeptical to reach out to them, until, I had seen a familiar face in one of their posts. I reached out to that friend and she had vouched that theyre great, expensive, but great. So, I filled out their online form and within that same day I got a call, not from Ron, but from one of their other trainers to set a meeting.During the meeting, we discussed my fitness journey, plans, goals, nutrition what Ive been doing, what I want for myself and recorded my baseline stats. I had a lot of anxiety prior to my first actual class but their trainers are friendly and the BEST at correcting form. I appreciate correction of form so much for safety and accuracy. Plus, their included meal plan is clear, concise and easy to follow at-home.This program is definitely not cheap but, in my opinion, its worth it. It helped me step-up to keep my health and fitness in MY control while also being supported and pushed by tough but personable and knowledgeable coaches. Even when I had to step back from the program due to personal and financial reasons, upon return, classmates and coaches welcomed me back with open arms, and I felt like I was home again.Thank You, Winnie, Ryan, Ron, Kaori, Henry and David for all educating me in fitness and health, for challenging me to build my strength, and for even working on my mental strength through focus and mindfulness.TLDR; This review is long overdue. Ron Le: A Better Me Fitness, though expensive, is worth it, dont expect to be coddled, be expected to be pushed. You do the work, you see the results.
Got a refund.----Once I made the payment the communication and all scheduled provisions such as documents or meal plans got delayed. There was suppose to be a Friday phone call to go over plans, but he noted there was a bad reception. There was a lot of attempt from me to get some answers on what are on the generic plan he sent via email and even had to get him to send an invoice. I have asked for the refund because we havent actually started training because Ron said we will start on Monday after the payment was made which was not what I was expecting. I am not sure if the previous clients were his clients or if they were connected from the fitness center Ron works from. However, I have contacted him directly and this is the outcome. Please be aware and be diligent because he is not professional in his operations or communication.
Ive been working with Ron since the beginning of January. Now, I cant say that I enjoy any of the exercises more than I used to, but I do like how much stronger Ive gotten. And even though Ive only lost 5 pounds on the scale, both myself and other people I know can see changes in my body, which makes me incredibly happy since Im trying to look better for my wedding in April.I really like that Rons sessions last about 30 minutes, which is the exact amount of time before I feel like I either want to die or kill someone. Ron is really good at both pushing me to my limits and also anticipating when I cant push myself anymore. I always feel like I leave Rons having done a good workout. Very worth the money.
After high school, my lifestyle became very sedentary and the weight just kept coming. I always had a gym membership and would work out on and off depending on my schedule but it became harder for me to lose any of it.I had never trained with a PT before so I thought it was something worth trying and it most definitely was - Ron was really great. He kept me accountable and made sure I showed up to our sessions and that I worked out on my own as well. He was also really flexible and dedicated to training me. I had a horrible work/life schedule which only allowed me to train early mornings or late night and he was cool with it -- we once trained at 11pm on a Friday night, how awesome is that! Before training with Ron, all I did was cardio. I was only comfortable doing cardio as the weights/weight room intimidated me. But Ron introduced me to weight resistance training and I love it. He was very knowledgeable about different exercises and had the patience to make sure I had proper form so not to hurt myself. He didnt let me give up and it was a lot of hard work but all worth it. I feel stronger every time I work out and now I dread cardio days and look forward to weight training days.If you live or work in the area and are looking for a personal trainer, Ron would really make a difference for you, he did for me. Training with him made me feel healthier, happier, and more confident.
This is the place to go if you want results! Good old hardworking, no shortcuts. When I decided to take this journey, I know I only have one chance to stay motivated. So I took my time, search every options, yoga, gym, pilates, tai-chi, etc. Found Ron Le Fitness! Ron asked me of my goals and explained the program. From day 1, I felt the support and the battle cry, to be a better me. 4 months passed, I lost 10 lbs and 7% body fat. Im stronger, my blood test result is outstanding, feel great and living a healthier lifestyle. I invested in my health and I have Rons help in this venture. What works? The program, the team, nutrition, accountability, all in one. I will do this again in a heartbeat. Thank you for giving me back my health!
I hired Ron to train me at the end of the August 2013 (I was 135 lbs), and Ive been training with him 3 times a week till now for about 11 months. The result is amazing and still getting better.I was skinny fat, with a belly before. I wasnt happy with the way I was, so I decided to get professional help, in order to reach my goal (lose fat, get in shape, build muscle) efficiently. After meeting with Ron and explaining my goal, even showing him pictures of the ideal body type I was looking for, he actually thought I need to gain muscle weight first. So I followed his work out and diet, I reach my target weight in Nov. 13th. I was 161 lbs, gained mostly muscle. My body fat was still high but I could lift very heavy. We started cutting on that day, we changed our work out routine and diet. I followed his instructions and kept a diet journal, text that to him weekly. I also did cardio daily, as Ron recommended. And now I weight about 140 lbs, lost a lot of body fat, while maintaining most of the muscle.Ron is a hard working trainer with good work ethic. He truly care about his clients and will create custom, detail work out and diet to help his clients to reach their goal. He is there cheering for you, watching over you and motivating you. I couldnt do this body transformation without his moral support. He would text you and let you know you did a good job in his session, hed also remind you to hit the gym and do cardio. He looked over your diet and make recommendation and changes as needed. When Ron trains you, his attention is 100% on you, he doesnt waste time, nor play with his phone.Dont get me wrong, YOU are the one need to do ALL the work, like lifting heavy weight, do cardio, follow certain diet and they are HARD!!! Ron cant do the work or eat for you. However, with his support and care he makes it possible and fun, and so much rewarding! I really appreciate what Ive learned from him and what I gained from the training. If youre ready and determine to make a healthy change in your life, I highly recommend Ron for you.
Ron is the ultimate personal trainer. He has a deep understanding and extensive knowledge of fitness, nutrition, and strength development. Hes also an extremely positive and motivational person, making physically strenuous workouts fun and rewarding. He trains based on first-hand experience, from seeing real results in his clients, and from his own training as a weight lifter and advanced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor.Since training with Ron Ive shed over 25lbs of body fat. Im also stronger and more flexible than Ive ever been. I highly recommend Ron for anyone that is looking for an experienced, effective personal trainer.
Ron is the real deal. Ive loss weight in the pass but kept gaining it back so I finally decided to seek help. I checked out a few trainers from my local commercial gym and found poor reviews. I came across Rons profile over the net and man I was impress with his accomplishments. I contacted Ron and we went over my goals and ambitions. I signed on for 3 months and on my way of reaching my goal. In a short time frame Ive learned proper lifting techniques and most importantly proper nutrition. Losing weight is easy but losing weight the correct way is hard. Ron is not one of those pushy trainers you see on the biggest loser but he will optimize your potential. No regrets, if you need a trainer this your guy.
I was looking for a personal trainer after moving back to LA, and am glad that I found Ron. He pushed me every day to be better, and consistently emphasized hard work and having the right mindset. He provided meal plans, workouts, and homework outside of our sessions. I wanted to become fitter and lose body fat, and I did!
I have been working out with Ron for ~5 months as of this review. He is incredibly patient and knowledgable and has taught me a tremendous amount about lifting heavy.Just about everything I was doing on my own in the past was wrong. He showed me correct form for lifts to ensure continued growth in strength as well as limiting injuries. As much as I hated going to the gym in the past, Ron makes it fun. Hes a great guy and makes me feel like im just lifting with a friend at the gym. Id definitely recommend him to others seeking out a personal trainer. Ron is easily in the top tier of trainers out there and well wroth every cent.
Ron is the best trainer out there. He is very passionate about fitness and BJJ. But, most of all he’s passionate and caring about helping people living a healthier life style. The first time I met him, I was very skeptical, as I had bad experience with other trainers. What set him aside from the other trainers, he seems to know what he’s doing and was able to explain to me the why and how it functions for all the exercise and food. So, I gave it a shot and signed up for 30 sessions. He wasn’t joking about contacting me outside of the sessions. He called, text, Facebooked all the time to see how I was doing and keeping me accountable. He really cared to see me living a healthier lifestyle. I don’t see that with many trainers. Most trainers I see only talk to their clients during the sessions and nothing more.I have been training with Ron for 11 months. I have lost a total of 60lbs with 15 more to go. I never thought I would be able to do the things I do now and definitely exceeded my expectation for myself. For sure I would not be here if if was for Ron.
I looked in the mirror six weeks ago, and was disappointed with how I looked. I knew I had to do something, but working out by myself didnt give me the motivation I needed, so I tried Ron Les A Better Bootcamp.I was 198lbs and 26.8% body fat. Six weeks later, Im 182 lbs and 20.4% body fat. Thats 16lbs and -6.4% body fat.Now that the program is done, Ive decided to keep to the eating and fitness regime that Ron has provided. I am forever great full.
I started getting personal training sessions from Ron about 3 to 4 months ago because I realized that I needed something else to upgrade my game in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. When I came to Ron for help I was not sure of what Im getting myself into. To be candid, I thought was going to be okay, and that I would be able to handle everything he threw at me... I was very wrong. My first training session with Ron was tiring and challenging, I had never felt such exhaustion in my 15 years of life. Haha. I kind of freaked out at first and although I felt a little intimidated by the workout I continued to go and I grew to enjoy it even more. There were times where Ron could see me slacking off and he would have stern conversations with me. But that didnt bother me, it actually motivated, I not only wanted to reach his expectations I also wanted to prove to myself that I was capable of executing his workouts. As i continue to train with Ron, I see the great improvements, I feel stronger, healthier and faster, to say the least I feel better. And it must be true because Im not the only one who seems to notice the improvements. Ive also realized that he pays close attention to everything; he wont let me lift or squat unless I have the right form, and he makes sure that things are done perfectly. He pushes me and makes sure I come on time to his training sessions. He has not only taught me how to squat or lift correctly, he has also taught me to have more discipline and responsibility, as well as more determination and I am very grateful to have a trainer like Ron. What more can I? Ron is a great personal trainer. He is responsible, dutiful, and he makes sure that the people who he is training feel comfortable and safe while working out. Ron will truly make you enjoy working out.
I just finished Rons 6 week A Better Me Bootcamp, and I really enjoyed the experience. I started it because I normally have a really hard time losing fat. I work out myself regularly up to 3-5 times a week doing weights and generally am conscious of what I eat so at first I was unsure that the program would be helpful. But even within the first 1-2 weeks I was already seeing a lot of progress. I lost about 14lbs and went down about 7% in body fat (from 20.7% to 13.1%) over the 6 weeks and I can see my abs for the first time in my life! I really learnt a lot in terms of exercises, diet and accountability/lifestyle.The trainers really know what theyre doing. I especially found Kaori to be an extremely motivating trainer. She was always quick to adjust workouts for each member even though we are working out in a group, checking in on everyone individually. She really knows how to make sure you are being challenged and also keeping you motivated to rise up to that challenge. Ron also gave me a lot of tips with my form that made a big difference in the effectiveness of the workouts. The diet is really well crafted as well. Ron really makes it as easy and straightforward for you as possible. I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed by how much thought has gone into making the diet. The only way he could make it any easier would be to buy the food and cook it for you! I am a big believer in getting the appropriate balance of nutrients in your food and not just calorie cutting like many diets out there do by just making you stop eating. Ron really has made sure that you are eating as lean as possible without sacrificing getting the energy and nutrients necessary.Even more than these things, I think what I will be able to take away from this bootcamp is the importance of making things into a habit and really incorporating things into your lifestyle. I had been wanting to cook more and meal prep more in general, but the most I had done was half of my meals. During the bootcamp, I eventually started meal prepping all of my meals really efficiently. I owe a large part of that to the great support group of all the people in the bootcamp. They are a really friendly and diverse bunch. We shared pictures of our food and recipe ideas daily. It was both fun and helped keeping me on track. It really allowed me to explore all sorts of recipe ideas! Ive been eating both more delicious AND healthier food than before I started the bootcamp. As a bit of a skeptic going in to the bootcamp, I want to assure everyone else who is unsure that this bootcamp really works, not because it cuts corners or has any miracle tricks, but because the program has been well thought out and the trainers are sincere in doing their best to help you succeed. You will have to work hard, but they have really made it as easy and as fun as possible to do so. Good luck!!
After four years of feeling sorry for myself, I decided to get myself up off my butt and get fit. I joined two other fitness places before coming to Ron Les A Better Me Boot Camp. On my meeting with Ron, he asked me what my goals were. While I wanted to lose a little weight, my main goal was to eat healthy and get fit and most importantly, get my body fat down.A Better Me Boot Camp provided that and more. You are not just thrown into a workout schedule, Ron taker your measurements, measures your body fat, and provides your eating plan and nutritional supplements. He works along side you every step of the way with weekly weigh-ins, answering questions on nutrition, and any other obstacles you encounter. Rons goal as a professional trainer is to get you to a healthy lifestyle.Ron has surrounded himself with highly qualified trainers who care and support you as well. Thank you Kaori and Robert for your encouragement and caring. Also, the group becomes like a family to you. They lift you up when you think you cannot do it, and we all celebrate everyones accomplishments no matter how small. You will see for yourself the camaraderie that develops as you go through this journey.I am a 69 year old female who has never felt better. I am in the best shape I have been in in a very long time. Dare I say it, I feel like a million.Again, thank you Ron, Kaori, Robert, and a my A Better Boot Camp warriors.
I started my journey with a little doubt in my self, I new what I wanted but like most of us middle age women wondered if I could ever really change.Ive been over weight for the last 4 years struggling with crazy diets. Going to a gym and just trying to work out without getting anywhere.I didnt know what to do, or how to use half the machines I always left discouraged. After a couple of months I would give up.A few months later I would try some new diet that didnt work and back to the gym. I was stuck in a cycle going nowhere. I new I needed something.I saw the 6 week challenge on face book, and signed up.Long story short, I knew I needed something to motivate me to not give up and fight for the weight to come off, my energy to increase, and to finally CHANGE!The plan Ron developed for me went hand-in-handWork out and eat right.SIMPLE!!!!Well Ive followed my meal plan and worked out per my plan.I am so proud of myself and strength developed, Im guided step by step on what I have to do. I complete ever workout every time. I am challenged at every workout and its never the same, in just 2- weeks I feel stronger than I have felt in decades. Im always excited to go to the gym and see what we are doing next. Joining this program with Ron has been the best decision I have made for my health.I get so many compliments not just about my body but my complexion as well, my self esteem is through the roof.I highly recommend this transformation to anyone who needs motivation and/or like me, doesnt know where to start.Youve got nothing to lose except for fat and tons to gain.God Bless...
I joined the 6 week challenge to help jumpstart me back into a more active/healthy lifestyle . At the end of the 6 weeks I lost 24.2lbs and 6.9% body fat. I came in with the mentality to just get healthy and not worry so much what the scale says. I believe that had help me succeed with this 6 week challengeThe meal plan that was given to me in the beginning of the challenge was very straight forward. They even give you recipes that incorporate what you are allowed to eat. I know I didn’t mention this to Ron or Ryan but there are one or two recipes that are missing a step , but I was able to improvise/figure out what that missing step was. So I wasn’t bothered about it so much. In the end I had something to base off what my meals could be with the limited items I’m able to eat.The classes are an hour long, but it goes by so quickly. The trainers are there to help push you and forI needed that when I workout . I really appreciate them being there for all of us and making the overall workout experience fun.Overall I think this was a great program, obviously I saw results. I know this program isn’t fully refined but I see Ron and Ryan ( and all trainers) trying to fix those little kinks so that everyone may have a better experience with the program. In the end I lost some weight and was very happy.
Ive been working with Ron for about two months now and he has really made a crappy experience (working out and dieting) about as good as one can. What I like best is that he seems to really pay attention to the individuals needs and he tailors his program to what you can do, what you want to do, and how your body works. My family and I all signed up together and we had different goals. He has helped me gain a bit of muscle while the others focused on slimming down and getting active. He sends personal texts at least once a week to make sure were keeping up with our goals and he adapts workouts as we go. He is great at being able to tell when I really can only do one more chin-up before I puke, which is great for maximum-efficiency workouts. His adaptability and quick, efficient sessions also make him a good choice for people like me who work 60+ hours a week.Hes also just a nice guy who was really willing to meet with us for a free mini-workout and consultation, so I suggest you give him a try if you are in the market.
Ron is an amazing trainer who can guide you the best. He pushes you when you think you cant do anymore and surprisingly it worked for me. He gives his 100% dedication toward health. He not only make you workout but gives total diet plan and keeps a strict check on that as well. You can be very honest with him regarding your health issues and he will guide you accordingly. If i sum him up as a trainer.. he is committed, highly knowledgeable, dedicated.
A Better Me Bootcamp helped me succeed not only in losing weight, but also becoming more healthy! As a senior, it is harder to lose weight than when I was much younger. However, the diet regimen subscribed is so easy to follow. You are given an easy-to-use diagram to plan your plans AND a helpful grocery list. The workout sessions are actually fun with great trainers and a wonderful group of fellow boot campers who encourage and support you. Everyone is amazingly friendly and helpful! I recommend this program highly to anyone ... you are worth your time and effort to become “A Better You!”
I joined a 6 week challenge with them. At first, I wasn’t believe I was going to see any difference or meet the goal. But I did, well we did because it was a team work! They listen to you, understand your situation and create a meal plan just for you. The meal plan is combined with 3 days/week bootcamp. The trainings are hard but definitely well worth. The trainers make sure you exercise all the single muscles in your body and they closely follow you to guarantee that you do the exercises properly. They support you while you are in the gym and while you are at home, they are always availble yo answer any question or comment. All of these, in addition to the support and help of the other “warriors” make the program successful. At the end of my 4th week I was so happy and thankful that I decided to signed for the whole year.I had trained before, but I had saw these result and I had never been so happy and thankful to a gym.Thank your Ron Le and all trainers!!
Highly recommend this place for the following reasons: 1) Want to make a change for the better 2) Want to be a part of a great community 3) Want the best trainers in your corner helping you reach your goals 4) Want to become the best version of yourself.Update:I started Ron Le’s A Better Me Bootcamp six weeks ago not knowing what to expect. I had never done anything like this before. I saw the ad on Facebook for a bootcamp in Pasadena. It could not have come at a better time, because my husband had just left for Chicago for a month and a half to finish writing his dissertation. Also, because I am always so busy at work with unpredictable long hours at times, my parents flew in from Chicago to help me with my two young children. After seeing the ad for the bootcamp, I told myself, “You know what? It’s now or never. There are no more excuses to not take care of myself. I’m gonna do it!” After a nearly hour long consultation with Ryan to see if this program was a good fit for me, he helped me to articulate some goals for myself. The condition I was in at that time was probably like many working moms out there. It had been nearly seven years since I really put me first. Since having two children and always working full-time, my weight was up and none of my pre-pregnancy clothes fit me. My self-conference was in the toilet. My asthma was the worst it had ever been, where I needed my inhaler at times. And finally, I was feeling tired and exhausted ALL the time, eating on the go and eating whatever unhealthy foods made me feel better. I had a sweet tooth that’s for sure. The program breakdown: 6 weeks - 3 exercise sweat like you’ve never sweat before classes one hour each per week - a personalized nutrition plan with grocery lists and simple easy to follow recipes - access to various trainers for free expert advice - being part of a group page where those who are in the bootcamp share thoughts and ideas and provide lots of encouragement. My first class and first week were really tough. My only goal was to make it through that hour without dropping dead to be honest, give it all I got without giving up on myself, as just the warm up had me gasping for air. As the weeks went by, my mind went from dread and fear to excitement and energy. I felt amazing after each class. I felt like I had the energy to run like Forrest Gump after a rigorous class. I added runs into the days I didn’t go to the bootcamp. This helped me to really burn off that fat. Even though I did not completely give up an occasional alcoholic drink while out (but I made it a low cal one), I did completely cut out bread, cheese, and desserts. Hardest thing I’ve ever done. The diet is much tougher than the exercise classes, believe it or not. After 6 weeks, I was able to achieve my goal of losing 6% body fat, plus I lost 9 pounds! I will continue this new healthy lifestyle, and I cannot thank you enough, Ron and all your staff. The most important accomplishment has been not having any issues with my asthma at all and having the energy now to keep up with my family.
Going to hash out the details from my FB review:This was my first bootcamp experience ever as well and Im surprised it worked as well as it did (Im typically a skeptical/ self-sabotager of personal gains). This is how the program works: three 1 hr group workout sessions/week, a tailored meal plan based on your weight group and fitness goals, access to talking/trouble-shooting with a personal trainerWORKOUT 5/5 - Im normally already a fairly fit individual since I do intermediate yoga flows 2-3x/week. The group workouts are nice to start off with especially if youre not used to using weights or barbells regularly. Also, its made to be friendly for people who dont regularly do high intensity training--esp since the trainer is there to watch you and give you modifications. Personally, I found the group workouts to be good for establishing exercise routine but not so much physically gratifying (Not a fan of repetitive circuit workouts). But it definitely gets the job doneMEAL PLAN 3/5 - The meal plan itself is good but the recipe book can use some work. Ex - making the pictures match the actual ingredients of the meal (like why does the egg white toast look more like an avocado toast?? Why you tempt me so!? ;_;), making the recipe list/instructions more hashed out (right now, its just barebone instructions which may be difficult to interpret). Overall though, Im happy that they also provided a grocery list for meal prepping on a weekly basis.COMMUNITY 5/5 - I think the best part about this bootcamp is the supportive community it creates both in person and also on the FB page. Ive gotten to know so many interesting, genuine people that I otherwise wouldnt have met. The ability for me to connect to others has really helped reduce my depression and loneliness; and I think thats the programs biggest selling point that gets participants coming back. The attention and concern you get from the trainers (including Ron himself) and the support from all the other participants definitely make you feel motivated to do your best. Its such an uplifting environment. With that said, BIG THANKS TO RON, WINNIE, RYAN AND KAORI!!
First time having a trainer and I must say its been worth it! Ron is professional in every way. He pushed me to reach my goals that am sure I wouldnt been able to achieve without his knowledge and expertise.. I would recommend Ron for a trainer to anyone who is serious in taking there fitness to the next level!
After 6 weeks challenge with a better me bootcamp, I lost 4lbs and 7.4% body fat. I was surprised by the changed of my body during only 6 weeks.I decided to join this fitness because I was lazy and lacked of motivation. I worked out three times per week, and now I feel stronger and more energized. This program changed my life to a more healthy and active way. Thanks for all who encouraged and pushed me to do better. I was happy with the result.
Fitness and my diet has always been a struggle for me. In the past, I’d crash diet and do endless amounts of cardio and some weight training. I was getting temporary results, but would then rebound and end up heavier than before. I was going to the gym at least 4-6x a week, I wasn’t seeing any results. I had a gym membership, had tried heated yoga studios and spin classes, and they were great but I wanted results, and I felt like I didn’t know what else to do. I was skeptical about joining the challenge, but figured that whatever I was doing was not getting me the results that I wanted. So what did I have to lose? As long as I follow the plan, I should see results, so I signed up.I got a food scale to make sure I was measuring out the food correctly, and was shocked to see how much food I was suppose to be eating. I thought I was given the wrong meal plan. I supplemented my meals and workouts according to their recommendations and drank at least a gallon of water each day. Registering for a class was easy, and done through an app. The classes are limited to 12 students each, and I liked that the classes were small because the trainers were able to check your form and make modifications accordingly. Based on my schedule, I was only able to train with Kaori, Bryan and Ryan. I was limited to go three times a week, but would’ve liked to go a few more times throughout the week. Sometimes the music was good, most of the time not so much. You are held accountable by weighing in weekly. Based on the measurements, the trainers will offer recommendations. I was also added to a Facebook group where I would post pictures of meal prep. The Facebook community was very friendly and other members would post some yummy recipes and answer any questions. The FAQ videos were helpful too.Overall, A Better Me Bootcamp is a wonderful establishment. You can tell that the owners and trainers work hard to make sure you have the best experience with them, they really want to help you achieve your goal. They’re always available to answer any questions or concerns, and send fun fact messages from time to time. If you’re honest with yourself and stick to the program, you’ll get results. My energy levels are much higher than before, I drink less coffee and my skin looks so much more radiant than it was when I started. I lost 7.7% in body fat in 42 days. If I can do it, it is definitely possible!
I completed the 6 week challenge with a better me bootcamp. The goal is to lose either 6% body fat or 25lbs. I completed the challenge down 8lbs and 7.3% body fat!!!!Meal Plan: I loved how they set up the meal plan! Ive worked with a personal trainer before and my meal plan was very black and white. I ate the same things for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In this case, the meal plan provides a list of protein, carbs, fat (in my case fat was not included in my diet but others did have fat in their diet) that youre allowed to eat and the portion size for each meal. They also gave a list of vegetables that you CANNOT eat (all other vegetables were okay to eat). What I loved about this meal plan was that I got to choose what I liked. I wasnt forced to eat egg whites every breakfast or chicken breast every night. I was able to switch things up and be creative with my meals while still getting my portions in. I also tried to consume 3L of water a day. Eating right really made me feel good. I felt less sluggish and was surprised at how much more energy I had throughout the day. I actually disliked any cheat meals because my stomach would not respond well to them after getting used to eating clean.Workouts: The challenge allows you to attend 3 sessions a week (1 hour classes). They utilize a smartphone app to sign up for classes. I found the variety of class times to be very convenient (classes ranged anywhere from 7am to 12noon to 8pm). Each trainer had their own style and way of setting up the workout. I really enjoyed Bryans classes. I felt like he really pushed us and made sure we never stopped moving.SIDE NOTE: Id have so much energy after a workout that Id actually head to the gym right after. Id usually do 30 min on the elliptical or treadmill. This is definitely not a requirement of the program but I did feel it helped me reach my goal.Community: You join the 6 week challenge Facebook group where people post their meals, recipes, and motivate each other to keep going! I enjoyed this and actually utilized a lot of the recipes and meals people posted. Everyone is EXTREMELY supportive. I remember feeling very nervous and anxious my first week. I was scared that I wouldnt be able to keep up. There are people of all ages, sizes, athletic ability, etc that join ABM. The trainers do a great job of adjusting a workout if youre recovering from an injury or if youre simply a beginner (like me!). The positive culture makes ABM so unique and special!Overall, I was happy with the program. This was a great jumpstart to helping me continue a healthy and active lifestyle.
You wanna get in shape? You wanna lose weight? You dont wanna deal with muscle heads? Then you wanna work out with Ron Le.He uses different techniques and exercises to get you in tip top shape. Just like anything you gotta put in the time, but if you do and listen to what he says, I think youll come out happy at the end.Youll be stronger, more confident and more fit.Hell take time to listen to your goals, and what you may want to achieve and then go from there. Hell set up a exercise plan to fit into what you are trying to achieve. Most of all youll enjoy it. (youll be sore....but its a good sore)
This is my first time joining a fitness challenge that required me to pay upfront for a 6 wk challenge - the task was simple: you had to either lose 6% body fat or 25lbs within the 6 wks. Participants are provided with a nutrition guide, added to a supportive FB group, and are required to attend 3 circuit training classes at ABM (as travel plans permit).Prior to starting the challenge, I was snacking on foods containing a bunch of hydrogenated oils and unhealthy ingredients. The guide allowed me to select better foods to munch on and the trainers were very effective in pushing us past our comfort zones. The reason I gave this challenge 4/5 is due to the inflexibility of the program. I wasnt able to shorten or lengthen the program due to unforeseen travel arrangements that occurred on my fifth week which was very stressful on my part but I do understand that I committed to the challenge when I signed the agreement and that 6 weeks is not a long period of time to achieve the required results. Most future participants need to keep in mind that a lot of their progress does rely on their self-motivation and incentive for starting the challenge. The challenge is definitely NOT an easy feat but the numbers do hold you accountable.

2022-02-28Been training with Ron for a couple of months now. We connected right away at my first consultation. He makes sure to ask what your goals are and what you would expect from working with him. I needed someone to keep me accountable, plus I’m pretty new to lifting weights. He’s your go to trainer if you want someone to push you to be better physically and mentally. Workouts are tough, but get you results! He turned me into a runner too! Time always flies by because he makes each work out so fun. Love that he’s so positive. Highly recommend training with Ron to achieve all of your fitness goals!

2022-03-17In November 2020 I started to look for a personal trainer in the Pasadena area and found Ron on Instagram. I started training with Ron in December, 2020. As a trainer Ron has been transformational. I have lost at least 15 pounds of fat while gaining an incredible amount of muscle and strength. I have seen my body become visibly more defined and lean over the last 14 months. Ron has pushed me beyond what I thought I could do and has actively encouraged me both at the gym and outside the gym to achieve my fitness goals. Ron has been and continues to be fully engaged in my fitness journey. I have had trainers in the past that have me do lots of activities without me seeing results. Ron’s approach is targeted toward measurable results which he has helped me achieve. Thanks Ron!

2022-01-31Ron is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING personal trainer. My wife and I trained with Ron for about 4 months and got awesome results: we stopped the sessions ONLY because we moved out to a different county of LA. In terms of the sessions: he trains using a variety of moves and super sets while paying attention to details on keeping the right posture, on balancing between cardio and lifting etc. Never ever two training sessions would look the same while there are some fix moves every week: this way, you make progress on those fix moves, yet you never get bored during trainings which is amazing. In terms of the day-to-day interactions, he is very friendly, always having a big smile on his face while making sure that you are both physically and mentally present and challenged and making progress. Also, outside the training sessions we would typically get text messages from him, from did you run today? Was it fun? to how was the weekend?. Overall, STRONGLY recommend Ron.

2022-03-07Ron is an excellent trainer. Motivates, pushes, customizes and the results speak for themselves. I am not new to working out but felt things had hit a wall. however, after attending Ron’s trainings, I saw great results. This made me want to push harder, even on days I did not have the sessions. Highly recommend contacting him!

2018-04-02I was scrolling through Instagram when I saw an ad about A Better Me Bootcamp, sharing about a free 6-week challenge to lose weight and body fat. It caught my attention enough to schedule an appointment with Ryan. When we met, we had a great conversation about what the program would look like and I was ready to sign up. And then, Ryan asked if Id be willing to make a bet on myself. To be honest, I was taken aback by the $497 bet on myself as I was expecting a free challenge but I later discovered that the bet on myself served to be extremely motivating for me during Weeks 2-5 when I wasnt producing the results I was committed to during that time frame. If it hadnt been for the design of the 6-week challenge, I predictably wouldve quit after not seeing results.I had started the challenge weighing 174 pounds and measuring at 22.6% body fat. 6 weeks later, my final weigh in was at 162 pounds and 15.5% body fat-- down 12 pounds and down 7.1% body fat. With the mix of 3x/week workouts, meal planning, and access to coaches, I was able to exceed my goal of losing 6% body fat and more importantly, I have instilled a new lifestyle habit that I am proud of.I strongly recommend people who are considering the challenge to dive in, ask questions, and participate fully. The coaches are generous with their time, motivating, and friendly.Despite being an athlete and having done a lot of different work out exercises, ABM provided to be the most life-altering program in terms of results produced and habits formed. Whether it was the accountability, meal prepping, or simply making a bet on myself, Im proud to say that I accomplished my intention and would invite any of you reading this to participate as well.

2019-08-07If youre looking for results and a fun time! Ron Les Fitness is the place. I am a mother of a toddler and totally lost track of myself and noticed I was gaining lots of weight and constantly feeling tired and depressed. I signed up for Golds Gym, which is right across the street from me, thinking Id be there at least 4 times a week. I literally went twice. I had no idea what to do in there and felt very uncomfortable. I read about Rons fitness on social media and decided to give it a shot. I started on June 1st weighing at 125 with 34% body fat....yikes!!! Ron was very thorough with me and explained to me that my weight was not the problem, but for someone who is 52 should not have 34%body fat. He helped me with my bad eating habits. He truly cares about people and wants them to live a happy and healthy life. He is more of a friend then a fitness instructor/owner. I can text or call him any time with any questions I have and he is always available! What owner does that??? Anyhow, after one month I now weigh 123 (only lost two pounds), BUT my body fat percentage is now 27.4%!!!! I feel better, Im more confident and my family and I are eating better! Everyone at Rons fitness are very friendly and provide great support for one another, which makes me feel comfortable and keeps me coming back! And yes....cancelled my Golds Gym membership!

2020-03-04I was looking for a Pasadena personal trainer to support and guide me towards my fitness goals, and I’m glad to have found that in Ron.Ron’s personalized approach over the past 4 months has encouraged my progress in both strength and form. He makes the extra effort to tailor workouts to my needs, while ensuring that I’m both having fun and being challenged. I’ve been shocked by how much stronger I’ve gotten. As a smaller guy, I’ve always thought that my capability was limited, but a push from Ron has really made such a difference!
