Clean, relatively big, modern Post Office -- I like it.I have a PO Box here, Ive been going here for years. Good location.Although I do agree some of the employees could appear more happier and cheerier to see/great customers...What do you Expect?You expect them to look and act so happy all day to see each customer...?If I had to deal with the public all day...Id look not so happy all the time as well.Why do you have to label some of them as Asian employees...what does race have to do with this?Aside from this small minor issue -- this place is rather professional. A well-oiled machine.
Dont get a PO Box here. I had my payments automated. There was nothing wrong with my card. When I received a notice my automated quarterly payment did not go through, I paid for the whole year. For some reason (again, nothing changed with my card and nothing was wrong with my card), the payment didnt go through again. They required me to go into the post office. I asked them to hold my box until I was back in town. BUT, they gave my box to someone else.
Walked into this location today to send out a package and the employee (old Asian decent not that it matters) at the counter was really monotone and lifeless. He was speaking to a customer ahead of me but came off like he didnt care about his job. When it was my turn he came off the same way answering a question I had. To be honest because of how he responded i said no thanks and left I would prefer to send my package out through another store. I mean I dont care if you like the job or not but at least fake a smile or something Wont be returning again.
There is a woman employee who has terrible customer service skills, and she acts annoyed if you ask questions. I run my own business and I would be horrified if my employees spoke to my customers the way she spoke to me. Ill drive the extra 10 minutes rather than across the street to another usps.
Like many USPS offices, its just horrible. If you need any assistance the counter staff cant provide, youll be sitting in a back office for over a half hour twiddling your thumbs while the manager asks you the same question five times because hes too distracted and disinterested in your problem to help. Go to San Ysidro, much nicer people and much more helpful.
The Asian employees are very rude, but the over all service there is horrible. I have a P.O. box there and Im there almost everyday and the situation never changes, its an unorganized and uncomfortable place to do business but my business depends on this location to function the right way. If the managers actually read these comments they should make serious and drastic changes at this location thank you...
Horrible customer service I applied to get a PO Box second time my original one I closed it no longer needed it this Filipino guy first of gave me attitude for no reason then goes to get approval due to my address I made one small comment and told him I live in Baja ca tijuana didn’t even allow me to finish my sentence when he cut me off completely and told me he wasn’t moving forward with authorizing it jerk never had this experience
Whenever I arrive at this place this person who seems Filipino is there, he is a tall person who is always there, I cannot ask a question because he always puts on an unhappy face, he attends you in such a despotic way, as if he thinks he is better than the others. others, last time I go to this store, I do not understand how it can work, there are these types of people who look that they are very unhappy, I hope they do something about it because the customer service is terrible!
The employee Abel‼ ️ very bad service! Tratan ️ they treat you to the worst, ❗️ I never go back to this place‼ ️! I do not recommend it, you ask for one service and he gives you another and then he blames you for not telling him, it seems that one speaks with the wall,‼ ️nefarious customer service!‼ ️ ️ ️ an hour waiting to be able to send my package‼ ️‼ ️ ‼ ️‼ ️‼ ️ dont go! ️ ️ Look for other options with a service that we clients deserve ❌

2022-07-21I got a Po box here a couple weeks ago, and received my FIRST package. I did not know where to get my packages. So I got in line and ask the lady there about it. She had an actitud but I just didn’t really put attention and let it go, she went to the back and got my packages. I was getting my packages from her and she raised her voice at me and said “ Next time check your box first,” it caught me by surprise and I just explained that I will do that next time and that it was my first time getting a package there. She repeated the same thing she said before but this time yelling at me. I was in shock and speechless. I said that it was not ok for her to be yelling at me, I asked if there was someone in charge or anything. This woman said there was no manager and moved her hands like when you are trying to scared or push away an animal. I cannot believe they can do this to people without consequences. I have never experienced something like this. The other employee said “that’s just the way she talks.”

2022-07-07Went to post office today to drop off package stood in line for 20 minutes, the lady that was in front of me had a box with white tape on it. When she got to the mail clerk, the clerk kindly said you need clear tape on your box, no worries I will put some on for you. Another mail clerk named Elaine told me she would help me. I went to her counter told her I had a QR CODE handed her my package and she quickly said I cant take that and I was like why? We don’t accept that tape, I told her what do you mean? Theres other customers that have been giving packages with that tape, and mail clerks either accept it or put packing tape on for them. She continued to say we don’t do that here!! I told her Ive been standing in line for 20 minutes that another clerk helped the lady with tape, that why she couldn’t do the same. Thats when she screamed and said they didn’t do that there.I truly feel discriminated by my age, gender and ethnicity. I wasn’t white enough for her. It is people like Elaine that make this country racist!! You would think that being here in California it would be different. The lady that they helped and put the clear tape on her box, waited for me outside and said what that employee did was completely wrong, that if I wanted to file a discrimination case against her she would gladly testify. Thats what you call a real citizen that wants to see change in this Country!! I am sincerely Thinking of filing a discrimination case, I was humiliated everyone heard her screams it was an awful experience.

2022-06-23I didn’t think it was going to be as bad as what others have mentioned on here so I decided to come here for the first time. After only five minutes inside this place I witnessed the employees disrespect four different customers, and one even got screamed at.That sets it for my first and last visit here.

2022-03-12Dont be late at this USPS store. The manager lady is mean. the thew out a little old lady. then she over charged for certified, return receipt - postage. I was so nervous that I tried pahi v with the wrong card, had to scrap it all & leave. Bad customer service. 💔

2022-04-16Was there looking for a medium flat rate box they had none out the lady kept saying they are right there when they where not finally she came out to look and saw that they where not so she went to get me a box took 5 minute so finally got it went to box my stuff made it back in by 4:50 10 min before closing was told they not gonna serve me because they have to serve last customer by 5 I pulled my phone out to record and asked for her name she put her hands on me and my phone saying I can’t record when I states on the rules inside that I can film they do this everytime turning down customers so they can leave early they are a public business and have to serve us the people that pay them simple as that .

2022-02-24Employees there got so used to close their doors before 5 pm if your there 5 or 10 min forget about getting served and come back the next day if u can make it on their own schedule..I work too and the business closes at 5 pm sharp we respect the customer time and we honor our schedule printed in our doors..postal Employees should know that for a fact...

2021-07-08I have been to many USPS all over San Diego and I this place has the WORST customer service.. rude, they always have something to say, they always complain to the customers about their job like its our fault, and if you have any FRAGILE packages DO NOT go here.. i have seen more than one employee grab the packages in MORE than one ocassion and just THROW them over the counter (instead of taking 4 steps to go around) not caring about the HUGE letters that read FRAGILE .. Save yourself a bad experience. I rather drive 10 minutes further than go here.

2018-01-08Worst USPS Ive ever been to! Would it kill them to put in an automated kiosk since their employees are so slow and unhelpful?But what drove me to write a review was the experience I had today. I work really close to this one, and I hoped to mail a package on my lunch half-hour. I go in there, and there are 6 people in line, which is common for this slow crappy store. There were only 2 people up there helping, one a heavyset white woman, and 1 Filipino male. A second Filipino male eventually took over a 3rd register. But the woman was helping an older Asian woman mail a package and purchase a box. At some point, the computer froze up, and this employee had a conniption, saying that she cant have customers waiting in line longer than 3 minutes. I dont think Ive ever waited LESS than that at this store.The computer kept having issues, she had to reboot the system. How do I know this? Because she kept announcing every issue and complaint to those of us in line. She said they watch them on the cameras, and if the line gets too long they call the manager of the store. She said her manager had told her not to have any long lines, and she didnt want any calls today. So apparently this is a typical thing. I finally got up there, and then was told that since I had my items in a priority box, Id have to ship my item priority. It was a return that I simply placed back in the box it came in, and she wouldnt help me at all.I dont need the human touch, especially when your employees are rude and unprofessional, and rude and just emotionless, which is usually the speed they operate at. Put in an automated kiosk! Your lines are endless!

2021-04-06The worst customer service. If you walk in 15 minutes before closing don’t expect to get service. The place is also dirty and not maintained, there no supplies. I wish I could give zero stars. The employees are rude and slow. Definitely wish they had automated self services machines. No use for people who can’t even do their job.
