Great service, solid turnaround time. Helpful and communicative staff. Had work done on my 02’ 911 C4SI had my IMS, RMS, clutch, flywheel and control arms done. Was pretty quick and also not overpriced. The staff kept me updated throughout the entire process which was nice. Definitely coming back for any other repairs i may need!
Great job! Andy and Casey were extremely helpful and made getting my car serviced super easy. I got my oil changed and brake fluid flushed and they always throw in a car wash and check all my fluids and pressure. Great job and will come back every time to get my car serviced here.
House IS the independent Porsche full service center in Pasadena, CA. The staff and facilities are first class. When I first bought my used 997.2 C2 Cab, I immediately serviced the car at House. They were able to diagnose and fix the outstanding issues quickly and for a fair price. When upgrading my 911 with complicated OEM and PCM 3.0 mods (MF PDK heated steering wheel / Voice Control stalk), the technicians were able to install and complete these modifications with zero problems. Kudos and thanks to Hahn and the technicians for all of their expertise and professionalism!
If live in Alabama, but purchased a vehicle in Pasadena and had it looked at by HOUSE. HOUSE went above and beyond in every possible way. Not only did they perform the PPI in a timely manner, it was extremely detailed. Andy Reyes personally made sure that he went over every detail over the phone and put me at ease. Anyone considering having any type of work done should call HOUSE. I cannot stress enough how valued I felt as a customer and this is the best customer service I’ve ever received. Thank y’all again and I pray you guys keep killin it!
Greg and team run a very well oiled machine. If you live in LA and drive a late air-cooled or any water-cooled Porsche, you should definitely consider House. My 996 broke down on a Sunday in the middle of a canyon run. I called Greg and he let me tow my car to their shop which wasnt even open. The got the issue resolved quickly and efficiently. House is also a great shop for modifications. Every employee is an enthusiast, and that matters. Keep up the good work House!
I had an interview with Greg about a position here at House Automotive. Right when I walked in I was greeted by outstanding team members. I felt welcome quickly and it subsided my interview nervousness. I enjoyed the thoughtful and amazing questions by Greg. I felt the warmth and friendly atmosphere by the other team members even after the interview. I walked out with even more knowledge and understanding of the role, thanks to Greg. I look forward to hearing back from House Automotive and to contribute to help the team grow.
Best independent Porsche automotive service in Pasadena! My service advisor Andy R. was very honest about repairs needed, and patient with explaining the process. All the service advisors at House Automotive II are knowledgeable, fair, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure your satisfied. If you have a Porsche that needs service, go pay them a visit. They know Porsche’s, inside and out!!!
The best Porsche repair service in Pasadena. Andy and his team do phenomenal work. As Porsches age they tend to have lots of preventative maintenance as well as proprietary functions that are impossible to diagnose without the right tools. Old Porsches you can’t even take to the dealership because many dealerships toss the older technology. I had an extremely peculiar issue with my secondary air injection system and house figured it out. I love going to house automotive because they have the top of the line techs that know more about these cars than anyone else! They treat you like family here and are great people.
I was VERY pleased with House of Automotive and would recommend it in a. heartbeat. I have taken my Porsche to other mechanics, including the Porsche service center., and I found this s company to be very professional , very capable and more reasonable, than the actual dealership. Its costly to maintain these higher end cars, and Im so thankful I found them!
Once again, I am delighted with my annual service at House Automotive. They take care of my car like it is their own. They proactively report when my Macan service is needed in the future. For example, I was aware of my brake usage and when new ones need to be installed. They do not recommend unnecessary servicing. They also have multiple resources to access for items they do not do in house. Bottom line is I trust them and am thankful to have them on my Porsche team!
House automotive did a great job on my 718 Which needed a clutch replacement and a new water pump. The car drives like a dream again! Gary and Greg took a great care of me and my car and they were very professional throughout the process. I would highly recommend this place to Porsche owners whether for regular service or any major repairs. Great job House automotive!
I heard about Greg and the House Automotive guys from a well-known Porsche club, so I knew they were very well respected. I brought my 996 C4S in earlier today to have an alignment done. Nothing but positive things to say about the team and the experience. I had the pleasure of working with Gary, who took care of me every step of the way. He was super helpful and very communicative. Looks like Ive found the right Porsche specialist to take care of anything my Pcar needs. Also, social distancing protocols were top notch -- temperature checks, spaced out seating, etc.
House Automotive is the best place to maintain your Porsche, plain and simple. They are trained by Porsche to keep your pride and joy running in tip top shape. All this plus significant savings over dealership service is a no brainer. Thanks to the whole House Automotive crew!
I recently took my 2017 911 GTS to House for an oil change and I was really impressed. The staff is really knowledgeable, attentive and honest. The shop is really clean and the waiting area is very pleasant. And finally, their prices are reasonable - certainly in comparison to your local Porsche dealer. I will absolutely be using House to service my car moving forward.
House Automotive is definitely customer service oriented and your dealer alternative. My customer service rep, Hahn, was courteous, professional, transparent, and explained everything that was done and what may need to be done in the future. I had an Intermediate Maintenance service/Oil change and they perform all items as per Porsches maintenance checklist which is included with the invoice. Finding an honest and competent Porsche service center is why I traveled from Orange County to service my 911 GTS at House Automotive.
Customer service is great, Gary was very friendly and helpful in handling my situation.Aside from having knowledgeable mechanics that do a job well , integrity , honesty and fair value what comes to mind when I need my Porsche serviced at H.A.,I travel from Ontario to Pasadena, that’s how much I trust them with my Porsche.
I just had House Porsche complete a full service on my 2003 911 4S. The car runs like a top now and I fully appreciated their complementary flatbed pick up and drop off service. They also took care of removal of critter parts from the engine bay at no extra charge after I let them know the smell remained after the initial service. I heartily recommend House Porsche and manager Greg is a pleasure to work with.
I have being taken my Porsche to House Automotive at least for the last 5 years. They are always very efficient, professional and accommodating. They have always been able to fix any problem with my car and able to anticipate future issues. I find them to be very honest as well. If an issue is cheaper to fix in a different way they let me know.If some issue needs to be resolve in the future they let me know but with no pressure to fix the problem right away if the issue can wait.I just sold my car but if I get another Porsche I will definitely come back to them. Thanks, Luis Medina
House Automotive is an exceptional facility for several reasons. Greg and the House Automotive team is professional, friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable. They are definitely Porsche Experts! They welcome questions about your car, the service/repair, and provide clear and concise answers and recommendations. This is very important when servicing or repairing a Porsche. The facility is modern, clean, orderly and comfortable. Nothing is out of place!House Automotive also makes it easy for customers like me who live on the Westside and beach area, by providing a free flatbed pick up and delivery service. I plan on using this in the future. Last but not least, is the workmanship and pricing. Well I drive a 911. Hands down, the Technicians are exceptional and their workmanship is superb. They take their time and get it right! And their pricing is better than competitive. You will not find a better price! I will not be taking my Porsche to the dealer again.
Greg and his team at House Automotive are amazing. I brought my Boxster S in as it just wasnt running right. Greg and his team able to diagnose the issue and got me in and out in great time! his team treat you and your car as if you were at the Porsche Dealership. They all are very personable and made it so easy for me to drive the 45 miles from my house! I recommend them 100%. My Boxster is back on the road and running real strong! I will be back for sure! Thanks Greg!
Been coming here for works on 987 for 4 yrs now. Took it in for service last week, Greg was able find a time for me to come in the next day. Luckily was able to trace my defunct AC to just a pressure switch. By the end of the day, I was called and told car was ready along with scheduled service and addressed everything that needed attention. They have got me as a loyal customer for as long as I am Porsche owner.
Alex and Joey are knowledgeable and personable service advisors. Estimates are always spot on, the work is doing in a timely manner, any recommended work is not pushed a with a hard sell. Their technicians really know their Porsche’s. Prices are very reasonable compared to a dealership. I often recommend House for Porsche service, in or out of warranty.
I developed an oil leak on my Porsche Cayenne S. I called House and Alex told me they could inspect the vehicle right away. Within 15 minutes after arriving, the Porsche team both diagnosed and fixed the problem. Total charge for the service: a handshake. Ive been having my Porsche serviced at House for a couple of years now and the service just keeps getting better. I give House, Alex, and the technical team a 5 star rating and my highest recommendation. The team is honest, competent, and they value superlative customer service. Thank you for all of that.Michael Cameron
I just want to say Thank you to Greg and Alex and the rest of the staff at House Automotive. Their customer service is extremely amazing. I had a frustrating weekend with my 2006 Cayman S, and I was too busy during the week to try to deal with the issues I was having on my own.Spoke to Greg over the weekend and Alex on Monday and just had them pick up my car and take care of it. Couple days later my car is sent back and working properly once again. They provided a perfect and stress free transaction.
Recently purchased a 718 and was looking for a porsche specialist that could handle not only my regular maintenance but also a few customizations. I spoke with Hahn who was extremely professional and was able to get me in very quick. I was doing a simple seat belt change and Hahn and his crew had me in and out in a timely manner. I had some questions regarding an exhaust and he was able to answer all my questions with no issues. Glad to have found this gem and will continue to come here for all my porsche needs.
Have been taking my Porsche here for the past several years and besides the fact that their prices for service are below dealer prices, they always do a great job. Never try to sell a service that isnt needed. Alex, my service consultant, is very knowledgeable and knows what is needed to keep my Cayman S running in top condition.
I have been going to House for all my Porsches for the last 6 years and have never been disappointed. Most recently, they serviced my 997 S in the midst of COVID 19.... and they made me feel comfortable in such an odd time for us all. They picked up car and the driver was wearing proper attire and taking precautions in terms of any form of contact. When I picked up car, the staff at the shop were all practicing social distancing and wearing mask/gloves. I know we as a society expect that in this time.... but it’s another thing when a shop like House is proactive about it. Of course they did a great job on my car as well. I have over 130k on this car as I’ve had it a while and it shows no signs of quitting as House has taken great care of it since the beginning. Thanks again Greg and everyone House for always being amazing to me and everyone else out there!
So glad our Porsche friends recommended this shop. We were looking for an independent shop that didnt charge dealer pricing and we definitely didnt want to go to the dealer for work if it wasnt warranty related. House is a bit of a drive for us but you do what you have to when you find a good shop.Took it in for an oil change and they did the full vehicle inspection as well as some additional work we had requested. Totally fair pricing and will not hesitate to recommend House to our friends.
Absolutely a no brainer.... from the owner to the service writers... the most amazing group of people to work with.. the follow through is unmatched and the professionalism is top notch... the way service use to be... if you have an issue and dont think the great service writers will fix it, talk to the owner, I guarantee hell fix it.. it does help to have some mechanical knowledge so you understand that nothing is perfect in the car world... but this group comes pretty damm close....
I do not own a Porsche myself, however in my business I often repair many of these vehicles. My expertise in repair only covers the outside paint of the vehicle, so when it comes to service and repairs I gladly recommend the team at House Automotive. In all my interactions with the staff at House Automotive, they have consistently been professional and honest. They also emphasize that their priorities are quality and customer satisfaction. You can bring your car here with confidence you will receive the best repair.
These guys really know their stuff. Porsche’s are cars that are appreciated by individuals that pay close attention to detail and precision. When trusting any independent Porsche shop you have to go with one that has the passion and knowledge about these special vehicles. They’re very fair in terms of price and they will tell you what your vehicle absolutely needs in order to get it in the best shape. Audi and Porsche’s have intricate electrical and alarm systems that can’t be brought to just any repair shop. Greg and Joey are real nice guys and straight to the point!
Greg and Joey are great to work with. Before I bought my 997 turbo, I had House Automotive look it over with a PPI. The appointment was very easy to make and the guys were very accomodating and friendly. I was able to ask my questions and they helped with whatever they could. When my car was due for service, I was able to make an appointment through email and all of my concerns were addressed. I was even able to get all of the service done in the promised time span, which was really helpful because my schedule has been very tight. I would definitely recommend any Porsche owner and enthusiast to House Automotive!Update: Its been a few years since my first review. Since then, Ive gone owned a few Porsches. Most recently, Ive acquired a 2013 Cayenne and a 1996 Carrera (993). In the last few weeks, Ive had House Automotive add a tow hitch and reprogram the computer system to allow me to tow with my Cayenne. I also just had some service done on my 993. I worked with Gary this time and he was great. Ive worked with multiple auto shops and House Automotive is always the most welcoming, helpful, and thorough shop that Ive worked with. I cant recommend them enough for your Porsche needs.
Ive been a client of House Automotive virtually before its inception....First off, Ive NEVER written an online review for any service or vendor, EVER! Yet, I find them helpful in choosing vendors. So, I felt compelled to write this one, to hopefully help other Porsche owners, as much as I have been. The owner of House Automotive, Greg, was my service advisor at Rusnak Porsche in Pasadena back in 2007. Since he was one of the VERY few service advisors I had ever worked with at ANY brand of dealership, that was honest, and didnt try to up-sell me; I was happy to sign on as a client at his new shop House Automotive.Ive enjoyed first class service, and very fair pricing at House Automotive for many years now, and I can say with certainty the prices are far less than any Porsche dealer in LA. As I priced them apples to apples on both minor/major repairs myself. Better yet the quality of service at House Auto exceeds the higher priced dealers.Greg and his team at House Auto treat their clients like friends, and not like an ATM machine... like most dealerships do. They see the value in long term client relationships. They continually strive, and exceed, the highest Porsche standards for maintenance and service that insure strong word of mouth, and client loyalty.Ive recommended several friends (that own Porsches) to House Auto, and all are now satisfied customers. My Porsche will always be serviced by House Automotive, as they have proven time and time again, that they care about my Turbo, and more important my loyalty, as much as I care about the quality and the cost.Do yourself, and your wallet, a favor.........Set up your next Porsche service at House Auto.
Professional techs and service rep. Nice office tastefully done. Porsche only and they have the correct four point lifts. Did not mind me watching or asking questions while they serviced my car. Did not try and up sell me. Spoke to the owner who appears to be a Porsche enthusiast but not a Porsche snob. Great experience for those who know about cars and love to drive and work on them.
The team At House Automotive has taken careof several Porsches I have owned and the ones I currently own. I trust the team at House Automotive because they are factory trained and come from a Porsche Dealer background. Many people may not know but the experience that the people at House started at local Porsche Dealerships from Service Advisors to Technicians so they are very familiar with the standards and recommendations from the manufacturer. They also use OEM parts with warranty so that adds to the confidence level I have with House. They offer much more than other independent repair shops, Ive utilized their tow service as well as their loaner car service so its convenient for me.
Got my 2017 Macan GTS serviced here and picked up a thing or two from the owner, Greg. This is my first Porsche vehicle and Greg walked me through every question/concern I had (apologies in advance). Greg even provided referrals regarding tire purchases and extended warranties. Look no further, House Automotive is THE place to bring your Porsche vehicle for service. Many thanks to Greg and the House Automotive team!
There was water damage on the passenger seat of my 992.Left them an e-mail inquiry and got a response within 30 minutes. Was provided with a free vehicle inspection and quote, which I decided is fair pricing.Dropped off my car and got it back within 2 days.Gary Li is consultant whom assisted me, very patient and even waited after hours for me to pick up my car.
Ive trusted and respected these guys ever since I had my 06 997S.Recently got my wife a 2017 Cayenne just under 10k miles. I took it to House Automotive for an early oil change (Because I dont wait 10,000 miles for an oil change. Nick my Technician performed the oil change (who is amazing by the way) pointed out that there was a plug in a brand new tire on the front while inspecting the vehicle. I contacted Beverly Hills Porsche and they are replacing the tire for free. THANKS NICK !!Joey my Service Advisor was more than informative and polite. If you love your Porsches like I do, take it to House.
They are very professional and did me a favor on very short notice (not even charging me for labor) recently. Obviously, they aint cheap (though, if that is critical, a Porsche is probably not a good idea), but they are reasonable by comparison to whats out there, and they plainly know a great deal about Porsches.Features like precise and accurate time estimate, rides home, etc. are appreciated, as is the wonderful Cleo, who runs the place.
I received my 996 May 18, 2000 and have driven 413,000 miles plus. I have had business relationships with many Porsche mechanics including dealers and these guys are my are my fifth shop. I have only changed mechanics due to bad experiences. This is my first experience with House Automotive, but Im impressed!
I was referred to House Automotive by WRtecnika and Pclub. I was going to another indy Porsche Shop. I thought Id give House Automotive a try and im glad I did. Hahn was my service adivisor and he did a great job with my 996 turbo. He explained what I needed done and the work aas done in a timely manner. Hahn was very professional and not pushy. Will definitely be taking my car to House for future services. Thank you Hahn and House Automotive!!
Ive been coming here for over 7 years now and these guys are simply the best. Greg is the owner, and Joey and Alex run the office, and they are all knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and always looking to help the customer out. They always make me feel super welcome and answer any question I have, even if I just want to chat about the direction Porsche is taking as a brand (LOL). Greg used to work for Porsche, loves, owns, and races Porsches, and knows these cars backward and forward. The technicians have been working with Porsches all their careers and have seen everything under the sun.I have brought all 3 of my Porsches here -- Cayman GT4, 911 Carrera S, and Cayman S -- and always been 100% satisfied. It goes without saying that their prices are a fraction of what you would pay at the dealer. There is simply no need to go to a dealer with House around (unless you have a repair thats covered under warranty). They also provide a car wash or rental service if you need it. If I could give them 11 stars, I would!
I have used House Automotive to perform regular service maintenance, fix automotive issues, and provide general advice on Porsche vehicles. They have always been profession and consistent in providing high quality service. I recommend anyone who has a Porsche to visit this service provider to their serving needs.
Joey and Greg are very knowledgeable and provided good feedback when I brought my 997 gts4 in for service. The shop, customer waiting area was in immaculate condition. Overall a very good experience, reasonable prices, I would reccomend to friends will return for future service.. ..p.s.I use to have my car serviced by 2 Porsche dealers, House was a good decision.Mike Ito
Returning to Porsche after being away for 40 years with a used but cared for 2007 Boxster S. Looking for an Independent Porsche shop brought me to House Automotive in Pasadena for a look see with an oil change and general look see at the condition of my new to me Porsche. Meeting with Service Director Cleo was informative and a pleasure. After looking my car over carefully and completing the Oil change the mechanics checked the drive belt and recommended a change since it was the factory original. They also discovered a cracked gas cap and replaced it (before the Check Engine lit up) and everything else checked out fine but found that I could use a brake fluid flush, tightening of the handbrake and that one of the cupholders was broken (Ill pass on that one). I had an appointment that afternoon so Ill make an appointment soon for the brake fluid flush and handbrake tightening. They counseled that my next routine trip should probably include include a minor service procedure but Ill probably opt for their major Service Procedure since the clock just passed the 60K mark. My appointment was for 10 am and I was out by noon and thoroughly pleased with the entire transaction. Ive never had such individual attention from any dealers service organization, Porsche included, Thanks to House and their fine operation which I highly recommend to those who are tired of the lack of individualized service dealers provide. Thanks House Automotive
Appointment only shop took care of me at a time of need and got me back on the road shortly after my arrival. I’ll make sure to make an appointment next time I don’t want to be that guy. Lol. Thank you Alex for your help getting the 991 back on the road. And for any one wondering , year HOUSE has experience with center locks. So far these pros have worked on three cars for me not one problem to report.
If you own a Porsche, this is the place to bring your car for service. These guys go above and beyond to take care of their customers—they sent a flatbed truck to pick-up my car—at their cost—when I couldn’t drive it out there AND, another time, sent a mechanic TO MY HOUSE!!!This is unparalleled service and, all they work on are Porsches, so they know what they are doing. Can’t say enough good things!
Im a new Porshe owner, (2011 Panamera 4) and was looking for an automotive shop for service. I found House Automotive and was very impressed with Joey and Alexs knowledge of Porsche. I took my vehicle in for an oil change, and a while they were at it, I asked for an inspection of my vehicle. After the inspection, I was shocked to find out that I needed $4600.00 dollars worth of repairs on my vehicle. Now, my previous vehicle was a Jaguar XJ, so Im used to a certain amount of expensive repairs. But, Ive got to admit I was kind of skeptical at that point. They explained everything in great detail that needed to be completed. Plus, in about a years time, Im probably going to need new brakes pads, rotors etc. $2500.00 dollars. I started thinking, did I get over my head with this Porsche. To be advised you need $7100.00 dollars worth of repairs within a year, and you just bought the vehicle, can be quite overwhelming. I dont know, call me naive, or crazy, but from my initial conversation with both of these gentleman, I felt they were honest, and they put my mind at ease, even with the sticker shock. Im going to put my Porsche in their hands and hopefully, this will be the start of something good.First, I have to save money. Thanks gentleman, looking forward to doing business with you..Salaam...
I first found out about House Automotive 3 years ago when I found their business card planted in my car window. I am so glad I saved the the business card in my glove compartment because it really came in handy 3 years later when Rusnak began overcharging me for their services and being a real pain to deal with.I spoke with Alex on the phone and was able to come in the very next day for a courtesy inspection. I wanted to get my brakes looked at (because Rusnak insisted that I get them swapped out), to get a quote for my cracked windshield, and to have my windshield wipers replaced. Alex was knowledgeable and did not push me to get any work done. In fact, he informed me that my brakes were still good and did not need to be replaced right away (contrary to what Rusnak said). He recommended that I come back once the brake lights come on. I really appreciated his honesty.Because I came in on a weekend, Alex could not get me a quote for the windshield right away with Porsche. He promised that he would get back to me Monday and thats exactly what he did early in the morning. I only got my windshield wipers replaced when I came in and I was in and out of there in less than an hour. Alex and his team took care of me and my Cayenne and made this whole experience pain-free. Thank you Alex for your assistance and for being so accommodating. I am very pleased with House Automotives professionalism and the overall service. I felt comfortable and I knew my Cayenne was in good hands. Thank you House Automotive!
It is unfortunate that I must change my review. My 911 was brought in some time ago with an electrical short of some kind. I was asked if someone had spilled water inside or if the windows were left open in the rain, of which neither had happened. The diagnosis was that several motors which are housed under the drivers seat had water damage. The passenger window motor and the convertible top motors were changed and a couple of thousand dollars later my car was delivered to me washed and ready to go. I drove my car to work the next day and parked inside the underground parking as usual. At the end of the day while driving home the car smelled a bit stuffy and damp so I reached behind me to feel the floor mat which was completely dry but the carpet underneath was not just damp but soaking wet. I immediately got home to discover not only wet carpeting but a large puddle of water under the cushion on the back seat! I mopped up the excess water and called Cleo at House Automotive. I asked if the car had been washed prior to delivery. She explained that it had been driven through the car wash and hand dried. I explained the wet interior and my initial thought of the clogged drains! The car was picked up the next morning and was with them for the next two weeks. I emphasized that I wanted the answer to the puddle of water inside my car and copied and pasted several explanations of others via online where they had experienced CLOGGED DRAINS in their cars...who knew cars had exterior drains that if stopped up could cause the water to drain inside? The car was dried out and I was told no other extended damage. Fast forward to one year later my convertible top was hesitating. Greg at House reassured me the new motor was under warranty for two years. My car was brought in and I was later given the diagnosis that a new Convertible Top Motor was needed. I asked about the warranty...? I was told that the motor had not been changed the previous year, as I had been told, and now the cost would be very similar to what Id paid the previous year. I am open to suggestions. 5/6/2016 JRI just recently visited Greg to get an update on my convertible top. The work recommended was $3400. In thinking it over I visited another local certified PORSCHE enthusiast, Peter at STUTTCAR SERVICE INC, where he added synthetic fluid ($34.00) to the reservoir that operates the convertible top. It now works perfectly. It took him a few minutes and he was extremely gracious and kind. After hearing my story regarding Greg at House, which he has heard repeatedly he didnt even charge me.SHAME ON ALL OF YOU AT HOUSE!Jeanine Robért 12-8-2016
Great marketing and thats how they reach my dad and I. These people know their Porsches and have the Porsche equipments that can talk to my car, best of all they save us approx. 40% on just a sample oil and filter change. I can say that my dad and I can trust them servicing our 2011 Panamera. Thank you to our new Porsche mechanics!
Very disappointed with a PPi they did on a 997.2 for me. They passed it with with flying colors. So much so that I bought tires for the car, which were needed badly and had them install them so I could fly in and drive the car home when completing the purchase. When I saw the car in person I was shocked. Leather was stained. Debris was in every crevice and pocket. It looked like a well used 90k example of a 911 vs the 28k garage queen it was advertised at. Would never use them again and was sure to let the forums know what had transpired as I got the recommendation from a specialist website for Porsches in the first place. I expressed my displeasure to them but they stood by their PPI so Ill stand by this review. If looking for a company to give a car the third degree that gives you the confidence to buy it sight unseen, look elsewhere.
Evaluation Greg Whang -- I give Greg a 10 + for people skills and the same for competence....He went the extra mile on all my inquires with a most positive attitude, helpfulness and tone and quality of voice......Im the person who owns the Iris blue 1999 Porsche convertible.
It was an unexpected pleasure to deal with Rafo and the rest of his team. Given the nature of my car needs, the cost of restoration would have been considerably more, save for the knowledge and expertise of the staff, who through a rather surgical performance, without having to install new parts, brought the car back to its optimum state.I am most grateful to them.
Was quoted and charged for 2.5 hours of labor for a small job, replace parking brake sensor, seem excessive. But the 2.5 hours is from a mechanic publication of some sort. If someone pays me $120 an hour to do some work for 2.5 hours, I usually need to spend 2.5 hours of my time to make that kind of money. I did agree to the quote in the first place; before i realize how small and easy the job was. The owner/manager is very nice and courteous, it was a good experience, other than the invoice part.
Jack was beyond helpful from setting up a rental car and after the work was done getting my Boxster back to my house. I had a check engine light problem that showed multiple problems. Jacks approach along with the technician was to look at the most obvious items that might be causing the problem. The hope was to fix what would be the major problem and some of the other problems would correct themselves. Most of the work that needed to be done was age related and just worn out part on a 16 year old Boxster. Every day I got an update as to what they had done and what the next step was going to be. Couldnt be happier with the entire process from start to finish. Thank you!
Great service, prompt completion, excellent communications with customers. Cleo has been great in coordinating a tow-in and arranging alternate transportation. The diagnostics are very thorough with careful identification of any maintenance or repair items. The shop is very clean and professionally operated.
Not much to say, only that if youre looking for the best service and price, no need to look further, just go to House. Ive been taking my car there for about 4 years now and have zero complaints. In reality, Greg/Joey/Alex/Nick have taken care of my car as if it was theirs and I cant ask for anything more than that.
Joey takes great care of my beloved 911 here, he is always happy to answer any questions, clearly explains everything I need to know and finds the cheapest but best solutions, everyone at house is happy to help and will give you a clear answer and solution without trying to oversell anything more! Only place I will trust with my P car.
House automotive Pasadena is a general good place to get a quote and consider for your Porsche repairing. They take appointment to get ur car and the guys in front office are nice and welcoming. The mechanists are nice and willing to inform or educate me about my car, I much appreciate that. Generally they’ve done the IMS bearing and Clutch assembly replace work for my Porsche and they did a 90% good job for it. Why 90%? 1. It’s because the throughout bearing noise is still there from time to time; 2. There’s more lil noise appears after I got the car back, one of the noise that annoys me the most is from the rear suspension assembly and pretty noticeable but not diagnosed when I’m paying for the diagnose; 3. For the general level of work the price are still expensive, appreciate the couple hundreds discount I’ve got from my buddy Andy at the end, it’s generally still pricey. Last but not least, I’ll continue observing the repairs of my car and keep in touch with house automotive, thankfully they’re nice and patient guys that willing to solve customer’s concern. (+2 years repair warranty)👍

2022-01-09I messaged Greg (owner) in regards to their oil change service for my 07 Boxster 987. Greg was quick to respond and answered all of my questions. I went in on a Friday morning and was greeted right away by Andy (service advisor). He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was in and out within a hour and a half. Their waiting room was comfortable, clean and covid safe. They provide coffee, drinks and plenty of cool reading material. I was planning to drop off my car and walk to a local Starbucks, but I found myself just hanging out. When the oil change was completed, Andy provided some services that I should consider in the future which helped a lot. I will defiantly be making House Automotive my home service center for my Boxster.

2021-08-03House Automotive is the best Porsche shop around -- whether youve got an older air cooled classic or a newer model like my 911. The shop is extremely well run, the owner is on-site between the two locations daily. Regarding the staff: the owner and technicians are very skilled, knowledgeable and honest. Theyre efficient and have worked hard to fit me in on short notice before. Special thanks to Gary who is extremely helpful!Regarding the service: I wont let anyone else service my vehicle after I began coming to House. You cannot beat the quality of service and attention to detail here, nor can you beat their prices, which are very reasonable. Especially compared to the dealerships! In addition to the regular required maintenance and servicing, House has also obtained + installed or performed a few modifications on my vehicle that really improved the performance and acoustics. Now my 911 looks, feels, and sounds EXACTLY the way I want it to.

2022-07-19Met Chance at House Automotive and the experience was fantastic. What was important to me was that he was familiar with my vehicle (Cayenne S) and was aware of some of the maintenance idiosyncrasies of my particular model! The work was professional and timely which is something I unfortunately did not receive from my previous Porsche shop. Will definitely be using them again!

2022-05-04I did an oil change with my regular mechanic. but he cant turn it off Service light. I called HOUSE Automotive Independent. David help arrange a date and time for me to bring the car in. Daniel helps to close the service light for free of charge. Daniel tells me more information for the next maintenance of my car.which David helps to check time and price to me.If you are looking for a technician with good friendly, know the job. at the half price from dealer. This is where you are looking for. Highly recommended.

2022-07-27Chance and the House team serviced my 1964 Porsche 356C quickly, and with great care. They were honest in noting that a portion of the service was an easy one for them, and they charged me accordingly. A first class operation from start to finish. I’ll be back again, no doubt!

2022-05-13The guys at HOUSE Automative in Pasadena are so helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to servicing my Porsche. They kept me updated on what was going on with my car and went over in detail the diagnostics when I picked my car up. You also cannot beat their prices. I would recommend HOUSE Automotive to any Porsche owner!

2022-04-09I brought the car in the morning and Chance was outside waiting to greet me. I have a Porsche 911 Black edition wrapped in Velvet and I was cautious about having it worked on but he assured me they would take extra special care of the car and that’s exactly what happened. WOW. I was impressed with my service. If any of you consider of going to a dealership to get your Porsche serviced DONT DO IT come to House auto group. FACT. Love you guys see you soon. Oh yeah and p.s. there’s a guy who also works there names Scott Abrams he the most polite courteous gentlemen as well, and he has my last name, so unique. The way they serviced me I could call him my brother.

2022-05-13Found House online and took my 2019 991.2GTS for AC reset and troubleshoot. They did a great job and will be servicing my Porsche from now on. They have the factory computers and can service newer cars. Will probably save you 30% over the dealer for the same service.
