Lloyd Pest Control has serviced our property for 2 years now. We live on the ground floor in downtown and critters find a way to get in. Only good cockroach is a dead one, and I’d rather not see that!Ricardo has been taking care of our home every 4-6 weeks for about two years. He is so kind, an expert in his field, and extremely thorough. Disappointed on there services. Most of the time they dont Doba full spray around the house. And yet they charge it as a full gallon!!!

Called them about a flea problem I’m having at my apartment I’m renting and they were ZERO help. They responded by telling me to take it up with my landlord and didn’t offer any type of solution. Very disappointed.

I have used Loyd Pest Control service on several occasions and always have good service. Its not hard to get an appointment and they were always timely. I have been a Lloyds customer since 2013ish and have always been a satisfied customer. I just wanted to take a moment and recognize Rodrigo from the San Diego team. I always get AMAZING service from him whenever he comes to my home. I have a crazy schedule and I love that he calls to check in to see if I prefer to have him come towards the beginning or towards the end of my scheduled time window. This helps hubby and I plan ahead on how to get our kiddo and 3 dogs out of the way for treatment. Today was a rainy day and I happened to look outside in my backyard and I saw Rodrigo working away! I am at a loss for words. WOW. That work ethic, the great customer service, I just have to make sure that he gets recognized for it. I took over a new property 5 months ago, It was imperative to get pest control on-site right away, called and they were quick to come out and 2 months later, we are only doing maintenance. All the guys are always professional working with my maintenance crew informing them on ways to avoid these issues. I have worked with Lloyds on all my properties and will continue to use them.

The carefulness of the representative and myself was awesome. We both greeted each other with masks, he stayed 6 ft or more away from me, when I showed him a problem area, he waited till I went to it and past it, then he came forward, always maintaining 6ft. I also cleaned my doorbell before his arrival. It was a great experience in these times.
Rodrigo sent me emails alerting me to his arrival, allowing me to communicate with him if necessary and make any changes to the appointment as needed. I signed up for Lloyds pest control for pest control on the interior and exterior of the home. It is a rental and I asked that ALL services be cleared and authorized before coming to the property. They are claiming they sprayed for two services on the exterior, with out my authorization, and they clearly did not enter the home! They are refusing to refund my money, as per customer service manager, Sarhad. Terrible Service, do not trust this company as they will perform unauthorized visits.

Our technician is Hisela. She is wonderful, very thorough and very diligent. Spiders are usually the biggest problem and she does a good job of going over the whole house, making sure our dog is not out, and ensuring the gate is locked when she leaves. Highly recommend Lloyd Pest and is particular Hisela, although every technician we have met is just as dedicated.

OK let me say I never give a 5 and never a 1. Why? Well, I just believe its not possible to be on either of those ends. If someone is a 1 then shame on me for staying with them. If someone is s 5 then they cannot do better. Just not likely for that to happen. However, I will say I have had Lloyd servicing my house for now 21 years (OK it could be longer but I do not need to be that old). In all that time they have been awesome. They treat my house like its their own, they do the job, and best of alm they do it quietly, quickly, and with zero hassle on my side. So why write a review you ask. Well we just had weather in San Diego. That means it was less than 60 degrees, wind, and rain. I know crazy weather. But, here is the deal...my normal scheduled visit was during this time and I received a call from the technician. I really wish I remember his name, but the deal is he called to inform me that the ground was very wet and since most of my landscape us brick that my service was not a great idea. He then offered to come back later that day to check. Stating if it was not good then ge would like to reschedule. I looked at the forecast and more rain (weather) was scheduled for the afternoon and the next day. I said, , Dude, lets jus post one until next week so there is no worries. He said thank you (what? How awesome) and took care of it from there. Listen if you like good service and local people, then I recommend Lloyd Pest Control I believe you will be happy!Darryl

I signed up for a 6 month package over a year ago to remove roaches on a place I was renting. I used them twice to remove roaches. I randomly check my credit card bill yesterday and see a charge from them. They have been charging me every month for over a year for what was supposed to be a 6 month package on a place I dont even live in anymore! This is absolutley insane! I want to reiterate, it was a 6 MONTH package. They have effectively robbed me of over $300

Horrible experience with Mila Eddington at Lloyd. We needed an inspection for our home purchase. Mila cancelled our appointment last minute and caused all kinds of wasted time for us, the buyers, the seller and our agents. The inspector reached out to us directly later and was also confused at the cancellation by Mila but it was too late for us. Would not recommend Lloyd after this kind of poor communication and service.

Sprayed my house multiple times over the year. Still spiders everywhere. Refuse to refund the money then the office manager lady bullied my wife into another spraying. It cost money to relocate kids and dogs. If it didnt work the first few times then fess up and give me the money back at least itll cover my losses due to putting my kids and pets into a temporary place.The rat service worked great though.

My unit had a bed bug infestation before I moved in. CA law mandates that surrounding units be inspected/treated for bed bugs if an infestation is present, but Lloyds did not inspect the surrounding units before declaring my unit bug free.Four months later, the bugs came back. Lloyds inspector Dolores blamed it on my trip to Spain a few weeks before, despite the fact that my neighbor also had bed bugs and had been getting bites for months. She even reported me as the cause to property management, without inspecting the bag I used during the trip.When I called Lloyds to file a complaint against the inspector for her unprofessional conduct and for the lack of inspection of surrounding units, I was told that only property management can file the complaint. Screw this company, seriously.

Several staff were not communicative. What was promised on initial contract was not what I was given. And staff did their best to be vague so as not to be held to it, The manager kept saying he would fix it and he never did. What was serviced for a lot of money I could have done myself.

Do not use this company *** dont get me wrong, the staff are very kind; however my home has been fumigated for the 4th time in 9 months. when the staff arrived, i literally walked to my car to make a 3 min phone call before heading out for 2 hoursper there procedure; and the man walked in my home and by the time i was done with my call; he was already walking out. how can u fumigate a 2 bedroom home in 3 minutes?? i feel they dont care and try hard enough. you might as well go with home remedies you can find online

Got termites around the same time I realized I needed to replace my door because it was letting water into my condo and messing up my wood floor. I figured the termites were attracted to the damp wood and I had them in the floor. Called Lloyd’s and they came out a couple days later. The technician was on time and very friendly. He told me that the termites were only in the door and hadn’t gotten into the floor. I mentioned that I was going to replace the door and he recommended that I not bother getting it treated if I was just going to fix the door. He inspected it again and said I had about a month before I had to worry about spreading into the frame, floor ect. I decided I wouldn’t get it treated. After a few days of looking for doors I realized that mine is a custom size and would take up to 6 weeks to get it replaced. I called back Lloyd’s because I didn’t want that stressful time line, or to end up with an ugly door. They came in 2 days (offered multiple different times so I could pick which was convenient. Again the tech was on time, very nice, and knowledgeable. Got the whole thing done in 20 minutes. Very satisfied especially with the honestly and understanding about my specific situation. Would definitely use again!
Pest have been a problem to get rid of,the crew here has been relentless with there sevice. The manger Hue is a top notch guy, he helped me understand what i needed to fix to be able to win this pest battle. Lloyds does an amazing job. I have severe bugaphobia. They come to my home once every 3 months for regular service at a very reasonable price, but the really great thing is that on the very rare occasion that I actually do get a bug (like once every 2 years), they come right out and treat at no charge - and then 2 years goes by before I see another thing. Their technicians are very professional and friendly. I cannot recommend them enough.

Junior is my guy. Hes reliable, responsive to my concerns and calls to let me know hes coming. I had black widows and he eliminated them. Ants head next door. Centipedes move on. On top of this, hes charming. Who can ask for more. Ive been with Lloyds for at least ten years. I like em a lot and recommend them to you.

If I could give a lower star than one, I would. They dont even deserve that. There positive reviews are bogus. I have NEVER been so dissatisfied with a company before. I have had to call 6 times for the same issue in which I was yelled at by a customer service rep. I called the manager, Tom, and left a voice message, and he never even called me back. Then, I continued to use the yearly service that I had already paid for, and I had a CSR call me 2.5 hours after a technician was supposed to be here, telling me they had to cancel. Then, once I rescheduled, the technician came after the scheduled service. THIS IS THE WORST PEST CONTROL COMPANY. USE ANOTHER COMPANY.

We had lloyds come to our house for some roach problems in the garage. It worked out great, no more roaches. That was summer 2017. I just called them today (Summer 2018) and I have been told that the manager has put a note on the account forbidding them to service us anymore. The reason is because we accidently forgot to cancel the monthly charge that follows the service in case the roach problem didnt go away and someone had to come back. But we never had to use their services again because the problem was solved, so that money we were paying was accidental and wasteful for us since it was not going towards anything. We called and asked for the money back since we accidently forgot to cancel the monthly charge and they resisted but ultimately we got our money back. So now Llodys wont service us anymore. While its a bit hilarious they would act like this, its pretty sad. This the definition of pettiness and vindictiveness.

2022-02-04I have been using Lloyds Pest Control for many years and I’m very happy with their professional and comprehensive service. They come to my house every three months and spray the perimeter and the yard area to keep any insects from getting inside. Before I signed up, I would have ants in my kitchen, but now there are no ants. Alonso Guzman is my service technician who unfailingly is on time, polite, and thorough. Every company should be lucky enough to have someone like him! I am happy customer.

2022-02-17When we discovered termite droppings in the house, we called and got someone out to the house in a timely manner. Bruno Duarte was our service man and he was very knowledgeable and thorough. I appreciated his communication skills in educating me about termites, explaining how they treat for them and what to look for. Bruno definitely knew what he was doing and I feel confident that he took care of the problem. Great employee to have representing your company.
