Philippe came today. He thoroughly sprayed perimeter of our home. He further sprinkledBug pellets in grass. Very professional. HoweverI always watch the bug spray guys. Never not once have I seen bug guys do the pellets. I request the same bug story every time. I think I pay for guysThat do the minimum. Very questionable
Very poor management. Was quoted one price, when came out they charged alot more. Blamed on the person giving quote. Talked with manager and took off a bit but not even close to original price. Asked same time for contract and told it will be mailed out and emailed. That was weeks ago. Call again for it but nothing sent. Called a 3rd time and left message, no call back yet. Very much a bait and switch. Will not recommend them to anybody because of this
Please, please, pleaseeeeeeeeee ask for James from Orkin!!!! Seriously hes the best of the best!! We started our service contract last year and he just knocked it out of the park for us. We had some embarrassing issues and we struggled with having to admit that the solution was beyond us and that we would have to swallow our pride and ask for help. But James came in and he was incredibly kind, sympathetic, and understanding about the situation. He was straight forward with our treatment plan and the timeline. The treatment was immediate and very thorough. By the first and second month, we saw a huge difference. By the third, we were elated by the results.And Im sure you are asking, why a year later if the treatment was so great? Haha, we were locked into a contract and we understood that it was year long when we signed up. Plus, James was honest in his explanation that due to the type of pest we had, we could potentially have a small out break when we approached the warmer months (which thankfully never occurred.) Honestly, it really was a great deal. We have an easy monthly payment plan and the treatment plans were adjusted for new issues that we encountered over the year. For example, we started to grow roses and ended up having earwigs crop up. Recently, we had a terrible outbreak of red ants that hes helping me with as of now. Plus, every two months he treats inside and outside of the house.Thank you James and Orkin!!
I have used Orkin for probably 15 or more years. Recently I discovered that we had been assigned a new technician and was immediately disappointed with his quick and lackluster approach to treating our yard for pests.Up to this point we have had EXCELLENT techs who have went above and beyond to keep our yard pest free. If asked, they would address rodent issues and other infrequent requests without hesitation. Our new guy, not so much. On one occasion I asked him to address a Gopher issue with some bait to which he ignored my request and left.Recently we upgraded to 360 degree perimeter cameras on our house. The last few times the tech came out I noted that he entirely missed the sourh side of our property. As a result, several plants immediately adjacent to the house became infested with spiders and died. Several others around the perimeter also became infested and I noticed that none of the webs were being knocked down even though the after report said they were.After 4 to 5 visits, I had enough and called to cancel our service as it was obvious our tech didnt give a heck about us or our property and his motivation was obvious to get in and out as quickly as possible.After explaining the situation to the customer service representative she was over the top apologetic, sincere, and desirous of a positive outcome. She offered a revisit to our property, with a different tech, and offered to give us the next month free as consideration to our inconvenience. She scheduled the visit for 10 days following the call as we would be on vacation and I wanted to be there for the visit with the new tech.The appointment date arrives and no tech, no call, no email. The next day I call and ask what happened? The customer service representative, again super apologetic and professional, says that the day after I set up the revisit appointment, the orkin branch canceled the visit and discontinued our service.WOW! 15 years plus as a paying customer and not a phone call, explanation, nothing, they just canceled my service!Im out! The agent didnt even have words for an explanation as she was as shocked as I.Well Orkin youve ruined me as a customer and I will shout it from the rooftops at this point. Unprofessional fails to explain your definicies and lack of customer service at this point.
I bought my house in January 2021 after being made aware that it did have termite damage and seeing termite droppings, I decided to call orkin. Matt came to my house and I immediately felt a coldness from him. He did look around and gave me recommendations in which we decided to tent the house and he even stated that his team would go spray every month afterwards. On the day of the tenting, we forgot to bag some food in the freezer and he called very angry and went off on how he told us to bag our food. It was an honest mistake. After the tent came off our house and we came back, we didnt hear a word from orkin nor did anybody come and spray. I called and left messages confused on how to proceed... Until it was time to renew its yearly care... I received dozens of calls and letters informing me of my expiring service... of which I never received. I called Western Pest Control and they seem to get the job done better and have better communication. Thanks for the $2200 tented weekend and nothing else!
My Orkin guy is amazing. I’m terrible with name or I’d list his. He is always professional & very courteous. Always listens closely to what my pest issues are and sprays accordingly. He also provides helpful insight into what I can do as a homeowner to reduce my risk of pests depending on the particular pest issue & time of year.
Horrible, horrible service! This company is absolutely ridiculous! I’ve been with this company for quite a few years, and I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt; however, when they fail to communicate with their customers and rob honest, hardworking people, then that’s where I draw a line. I have yet to speak to a manager regarding these issues. Do yourself a favor, go with a better company…it’s not worth the hassle that this company has put me through in 3 years.
Josh is always on time. Very communicative. Is always back if we need a second spray. Great service. / Weve been working with James now & hes also very attentive to our needs. Hes on time & makes schedule arrangements if possible when needed. Hes given us his direct business number for better communication.
This was Davids first visit to our home. For the first time in years, we asked for inside service because we are getting a number of bites. David readily provided the service, mentioning that he needed to use a non-repellent material to avoid trapping insects inside. Outside, our trouble spot is on the patio. David provided more effective attention to that area than we have seen before. We are glad to welcome David as our technician.
Over the years I’ve used Orkin services from time to time when ever I’ve seen any unwanted bugs around my home/house. Orkin has been quick to respond and has always resolved whatever my immediate problem was. This last time it was Mosquitoes that everyone in my community was complaining about. I signed up for their mosquito program this summer and had no problems, even when I took my dog outside at 3AM, not a single mosquito bite. I will use Orkin again next summer so I can enjoy my back & front yard mosquito free.
Andrew was very friendly, knowledgeable & patient during the whole process. I’ve never had a bug issue but living in an apartment you are at the mercy of the walls you share with others. He was beyond accommodating and professional, made the appointment as painless as possible. Would definitely recommend to others.
I love Orkin!! Originally called due to a rat issue. Have kept using the service as all the gross yearly bugs have been dead before getting in the house, since using there service. We live next to a large dirt field; so get many bugs and critters. I am so thankful for this company, allowing me to feel safe and clean in my house! They are thorough and patience; and I appreciate that!
Tyler, my service technician was amazing! He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He anticipated what was needed for possible rodents and made himself available for any day I needed as follow up. Needless to say he is an excellent example for his company and a shining example of someone who is great at their job. Thank you so much!
Mario from Orkin has been amazing at getting rid of the rodents at our house! We moved here in 2017 and the house had rodents ever since..one day I opened a cupboard and 2 rats were in there..I immediately called Orkin and they sent Mario..not only did he get rid of them he blocked all entry points so no more could get in and he also got rid of the cockroaches..he stops by every month or so and I can’t imagine stopping the service
The inspector was very professional, friendly, respectful, knowledgeable and communicated timely. We just started service but his professionalism and the great customer service from him and the person that helped us over the phone (Carmen) make us confident that our needs will be met. Thank you!
I just had my first of the monthly services I will have for rodents which were displaced due to housing construction within our neighborhood. Art has great customer service, gave a lot of explanations and tips. He is respectful of the property as well. I may comment about quality after I see the effects of the services after a few months, it’s too early for now.
Mario and the gentleman he was training were great! Very respectful of my house they both had great customer service! This was my first using Orkin, my husband and I were very apprehensive but I’m beyond pleased with the service overall Mario was great! HIGHLY recommend him and Orkin
We were very happy with their service! We called back and had them come back out to look at a couple other locations that needed attention and He was very attentive and went the extra mile to help out to make us more comfortable and understand more things that we can do to try to keep the rat out. He assured us they would be back next week and set an appointment for us for a follow-up! I appreciated his service and would recommend him.

Marvin, the “Orkin Expert” 👍🏼, did a great job of inspecting and educating me on the issue. He didn’t find anything, but said he’d be back next week to make sure! The technician arrived at the property more than two hours early forcing me to leave the restaurant we were eating at to rush back to the house only to find that the technician had already “completed” the job. When I asked what he did he informed me that he filled entrance areas where rodents could be accessing the home and very sloppily added bright pink foam to the exterior of the home. The foam looks absolutely horrible.. The technician was rushing to leave and kept saying how busy he was that day. I had to remind him that he needed to spray the house for insects before he left and then he only left rodent traps in one part of the area of concern. The lack of professionalism and the pressure this technician put on us to be there when he needed us to was unacceptable. The service fee for this call was almost $400 and I am very unsatisfied.
Robert Valentine is my Valentine, lol. Robert, my recent Service Specialist, is on point with all the details. I am lucky enough to be dispatched to his call list again. He listens to his customers and does everything he can to do to answer questions and fulfill their needs.Robert is dedicated, personable, efficient and very communicative.I hope Robert is my Service Specialist on my next appointment.Robert has demonstrated over time that he certainly deserves any bonus, raise and perk Orkin can provide in honor of his work.P.S. Did you know that your Orkin service includes indoor and outdoor? All these years I understood my service (the $ amount) from when I originally started with Orkin was for ONLY outdoor! Ah! The Orkin man was on time and easy to communicate with. He inspected the house gave clear explanations of what needed to be done and started to work. He finished quickly and let me know what to expect with the monthly service. I could not have been more pleased with his excellence and professionalism.
The customer service was amazing for beginning to end. The tech was very patient and through. He was very professional and took care of every part of my house. I scheduled an appointment with Orkin because I didnt want to deal with the ants during the summer months anymore. You drop a grain of sugar, next day there would be tons of ants. I signed up for the ongoing monthly service for $62 each visit. My initial experience was amazing, Art came out, he explained everything and provided an excellent service! The next month, Joaquin visited & said he was the regular representative who is assigned to the account. First time he was okay... the third he told me he was only going to spray outside. So I called to see if this was a normal prcedure because why am I paying when your rep decides hes ONLY going to spray outside? The customer service person said its up to the technician to decide. (?) So I changed my service to very other month, which is $88. The next time my appointment rolled around I can tell there was a shift in Joaquins overall attitude. My December appointment Joaquin didnt even show up ! I called to verify what happened... the customer service rep said well let me call him to see what happened. I said nicely, No, its okay, because I have to leave. Then the rep said So YOU want to cancel your appointment? I Replied, No, Im not cancelling, I was here for the blocked scheduled time your representative was to show up, he is a no show!Ive been trying to be understanding of what may have happened; but honestly thats not my responsibility as a customer. Not sure I will continue the service.
The Tech that was out yesterday was awesome. He called to let me know he was running a little behind which was no problem. He was very informative and knowledgeable. Our Orkin technician came on time. We received a text telling us that he was on site. He was very professional and explained everything in detail. He was well prepared to answer any questions we had. I feel confident about our decision to receive services from Orkin. We are looking forward to getting rid of our pests at home and most importantly keeping them out for good.

Orkin has impeccable customer service. Their technicians are responsive and professional. I have had a couple of technicians service my home and they all have been great. However, Mark has been a godsend. I have been having trouble with mosquitoes inside and outside of my home and he’s shown nothing but concern for my situation. They really work hard to see to it that you are pleased. I would, without a doubt, recommend Orkin to family and friends!!!
I’m a new Orkin customer and I chose them because they come highly recommended. The technician that serviced my home took the time to thoroughly explain what he would be doing and even answered questions after the service began.When scheduling my appointment the representative that assisted me was very courteous, professional and personable as well. They were familiar with the infestation problem I was experiencing at my home.
The technicians are great, they are always super friendly and give step by step details on what and why they are doing what they are doing. They consult with you first to see what might be some trouble areas. And if for any reasons bugs pop up in between services, you can call and someone will be there that week to do a spot check. Ive had to call for spiders a couple of time because of a huge tree in my backyard. And the company is very quick to assess the situation. Great job orkin, keep it up.
Chris and Miguel did a thorough inspection of the outside and attic of my home. They gave me great tips on cutting trees and bushes away from my home. I wish they could be my service guys every time!!!! They are friendly and answered all my questions. Thank you so much!!
OVERCHARGED ALOT!!! Charged for pest & mosquito initial service but after 2 calls the SAVE75 coupon they emailed to me, was not applied and tech did not even do mosquito service because of respiratory requirements in my area and I guess he didn’t want to wear or have one to wear, not sure, but I was charged for it anyway.I chose Orkin based on the elaborate service I was told about when interviewing different companies and the main reason I chose Orkin is because you said if I had any cracks or holes in the structure they would repair them while spraying my property but the tech didn’t enter the inside my home, so he didn’t even treat the inside of it at all which frankly pisses me off and even while walking my property now an hour after he sprayed the exterior there are tons of, still very alive ants 🐜 in my trash can, in my front yard, walkways, etc….Needless to say, I paid quite a bit more for exceptional service but feel like the 30 or less minutes he was here for $200 was completely unfounded. My can of raid killed more ants and seriously, how do you expect to kill any creepy crawlers in my carpet or walls or anywhere if you don’t spray inside, when I have 2 large inside dogs that carry fleas, ticks, flies, etc all over anywhere they go.I’ve lived up here 13 years and I’ve used 2 other companies both were too busy for immediate service but each time they spent a minimum 1-2 hours spraying and crawling in basement & attic to get everything which is how I know there are cracks in my attic as the last company treated but they do not repair before treating and that is the sole reason I chose orkin
I contract with Orkin for regular treatment for ants spiders, and other insect pests. They are always flexible with our schedule but today the tech, Daniel, was super accommodating. He showed up for the appointment right when we were on the way out for my husbands drive-thru appointment. I apologized and he said he would come back later even though he had no other local appointments. I really appreciated his consideration. Thank you again Daniel!
Orkin has been a fabulous service that I have used for several years now. They are professional and always keep me informed of when they are coming and what they did when they were here. I haven’t had to use them inside my house yet, but I do notice a decrease in spiders and ants outside. I enjoy being in my backyard because of them!
Orkin was very good and friendly. I had to get all my hornets nest removed and my service guy did a wonderful job. Clean work, friendly and very knowledgeable about what was going on. I had my kitchen sprayed for roaches, spiders, etc. They even treated all around the outside of my house with a pleasant rosemary scented spray. Being aware of my pets as well. I would recommend them.
I can’t say anything much yet at this time cause they just finished the work. So far I am satisfied with what he does. But will see what happen till he comes back and check all the traps that he put in. By the way I like the guy that you sent into my house. He’s very polite and seems very nice guy. The company is responsive when you need additional visits/services, way to contact, quick to get your schedule. Their text notifications are great to remind of visits, update arrival time, etc. Brian makes sure to check in with me when he arrives, seeing if I need any additional services, always polite, respectful and is knowledgeable and will take the time with you to explain ways to maintain eradication, if needed.
Antonia Vega was my agent for the year, bought the protection, and had an appt to get a regular and inspection, but when I made the appt, and confirmed it, instead of letting me know my annual was due on the exact date of my inspection, which I wouldve been happy to pay, they no-showed me, inconvenienced my tenant, and didnt even follow up to reschedule or try to rectify the situation. I reached out via multiple emails to see why they wouldnt notify me the bill was due and just taken a payment over the phone since we had an appt scheduled rather than no-show me but never got a response to this question. Very disappointing. The crazy thing is I use Orkin for my monthly pest control, a different department and rep, and Im very happy with this side of service.
Great tech that came out to take care of my family and I. Solid communication skills, and explained everything he was going to do before and after. He would have been on time if our complex wasnt so difficult to navigate lol. Overall me family and I are happy campers! Will update after a month or so, to let everyone know about the pest problem progress
Ive had Orkin for over 10 years now and Im ready to cancel. They have just become too expensive to justify the little bit of service I need. I can honestly say I havent had an ant in the house since I started the service which is nice but not enough to justify the cost.
I really like the upgrades that Orkin has added. They now have a appt that allows you to see exactly what time they should be arriving. Also my service guy was very nice, efficient, and knowledgeable. He called me to confirm my appointment and came at the designated time he said he would. In addition I received text messages when he arrived. Been using this company for 2 years now.
I had Chris come out and service my house. Called because he could come out sooner than the original time. I couldnt be there sooner but he worked with me with my available time and he was on time. Very knowledgeable, very nice, answered any questions we had and did a great job.We have used orkin before and very happy every time.
Orkin has been a great service over the years, but I encourage them to provide more oversight on their technicians regarding how quickly they perform routine services every other month. I had a technician come today. Usual service is front of house, garage, scooped storage (in the garage) and back yard. The technician was done in 10 minutes. I dont see how if he took his time and carefully ensured that treatment was done. This happened once before and I called to make a complaint about it. So, instead of complaining, Ill see if it happens again when they come in September and if it does, I will cancel my services. I had better services with Orkin when I was living in NYS three years ago, not sure whats going on here in CA.
When I called to get a quote the representative was amazing she was personal and extremely helpful. She took her time to explain things to me. They came out the same day to do the spraying. He was also very nice and took this time to evaluate the bug problems. Overall I am very pleased with the services.
I appreciate Warrens ability to take into account social distancing while conducting his work in a professional manner. He explained exactly what he needed to do and how his company was going to accommodate me in the future. I also have pets and he assured me the products Orkin uses does not harm pets! I was grateful for this.
Best service ever. I live in a rural area with all sorts of critters. They come monthly and thoroughly spay outside around the house-all doors and windows, foliage, the garage and inside. Glue traps and rat/mouse traps are regularly inspected and replaced as needed. Havent had a pest in years, not even an ant! I highly recommended Orkin.

My service has been outstanding with Joaquin from Orkin. He is very thorough and efficient and responds immediately to whatever concern you have. He communicates very well about everything he is doing, and also is a great communicator as to when he will be doing your service. I am always amazed at how well he knows his craft! I call him the “Bug Whisperer”.Our property butts up to a preserve, which means we get an over abundance of bugs and critters, and he keeps everything under control. A+++++++++
We called Orkin to come out to our home to treat for springtails. This was a one-time service, and we will wait to see the results. Chris N., the technician who serviced our home, was thorough, informative, and professional. Not only was he able to answer questions regarding our pest problem, but he also offered solutions and proceeded to do an excellent service.
I love Orkin! They are so considerate and mindful of their clients work schedule and timing for them to come out! They also provide reminders for us that are really super busy all the time going places and doing things it really helps! Great service, quick response time, informative texting and online tracking of your technician for service appointment arrival times. And they automatically schedule your services that are due (we have quarterly) so I dont even have to be bothered with having to make sure to schedule them coming out. Not to mention their technicians are kind and courteous. Im very pleased with them and will continue to use their services. :)
Would have rated with 5 stars, however, I have told them on multiple occasions that I would like the service performed after 4pm due to my work schedule and that I have large dogs in the back yard. They continue to schedule my service for other times. Also, On todays service I was notified that they would be here between 12-2pm and they showed up at 3pm with no notification of them running late.
Everyone I spoke to at your company were well trained, friendly & knowledgeable from the 1st customer service rep to the tech that came to my home - I had questions about the “Indian Mill” moths that invaded my pantry and I was given great, consistent information from all. When I communicated my concerns over the pricing, your sales team came up with discounts that made me more comfortable. When I was going through my decision process, your sales team & local office kept in touch with me and made me feel welcome when i finally made my decision to choose you. I am very happy to be an Orkin customer now and feel confident my pest control needs will be handled professionally & thoroughly. Thank you Orkin.
We just started our service so I don’t have a long term experience, but I can tell you after speaking with multiple companies within my neighborhood. National names and local companies as well, I felt Orkin was the most professional, attentive and so far I have had the most positive experience. The gentleman who serviced our house answered all my questions, waited patiently while I read the entire agreement before signing and was genuinely kind. I appreciate that in this world we live in.
Most of all, we enjoy the quality of service and care from our technician Paul and we have had a newer technician who has been amazing as well. These guys listen to your concerns as a customer and address the issues as if it was their own home. We first met Paul when we had another company providing service for our home. When Orkin came along we were skeptical, but Paul reassured us that things were going to work out and our cost and quality of service was not going to change. He was right! Although we don’t see him as often as we would like (we’ve had a different technician) he was the reason that we stayed with Orkin and why we would recommend Orkin to our own family and friends. Keep up the great work Paul!!
We are very pleased with Orkin and especially with Joaquin. We have been with Orkin for many years and Joaquin has been our service tech since the beginning. He is always professional and informative. He informs us of anything that may require special attention. Joaquin is always pleasant and respectful. He deserves a raise!
Ordered a clean out, they sent a tech Dan or Danny I walked thru with him and asked if everything was pulled out enough. He said said yes. The guy sprayed my kitchen and touched nothing else. I said what about upstairs I have a second kitchen upstairs in which he refused, said he would come back in 2 weeks. It took me three days to clean and remove everything out of my cupboards and drawers. I have reptiles, birds, and my fur babies I had to remove. This is a process. This is in unacceptable. In the almost 4 years I have used this service only a couple of techs have actually made a difference, then they switch my tech and something like this happens. I do not recommend Orkin to anyone. The money back guarantee is a joke. In the almost 4 years of service you would think they could solve our problem.
Orkin is great at providing service every four months, and this last time Louis targeted wasp nests. About a month ago, he could see that there were several wasp nests and demolished those; but he wanted to come back one month later, at an earlier time, to catch them at a good time of day before they leave their nests. He is a wealth of information when it comes to insects, just ask him any question you want.
The tech was amazing. Kind courteous and informative. He knew what we need to do and was open and honest. He had a way with his words that came across non offensive. I really appreciate his kindness and honesty. If all of your techs are like this I am a customer for life.
Our Orkin Pest rep, Bruce is fantastic! Very knowledgeable and professional. Always treats us almost like family! Technician arrived within the 2 hour appointment window. He was polite & answered all of my questions. He was careful in spraying inside the house along the baseboards & sprayed outside & inside the garage. I’m very pleased with today’s service & with the professional service I’ve received from Orkin the past year.
We cannot say enough about the professionalism, knowledge, patience and kindness of our very special technician James! If he could be cloned your company would have an A+ rating throughout from your customers! Our home was suddenly overrun with mice(we’ve NEVER HAD) then earwigs(this infestation was worse than we’ve EVER seen over the last 3 yrs) and lastly roaches😱(which we haven’t seen since 2012 when we moved in) we were ready to actually just move but James reassured us that he could get it all under control which as usual he has!! He represents himself and your company exceptionally well his attention to detail, knowledge of his craft and command of his field is amazing!! I will say if he ever left your company we would have to move with him to his next company(though you can tell he never would). Orkin has been great so far. Our technician has been servicing our home for years since before the company (eco shield) was bought out by Orkin, and he is amazing! Great customer service and way less mice, spiders, webs, etc. with this service. Havent seen a mouse in the garage in a couple years. And we store dog food...in the garage.

Have been in orkin client for more then four years. And they are awesome. I have had two wonderful gentlemen come to my homes for quarterly maintenance and they have always been super nice, very professionAl. My kids even feel very safe when our orkin guy comes because they know he will take care of all those scary bugs.Update: I have moved a few times (single mom life) and just want to give you heads up that apparently that’s in issue. Transferring service from one place to another. But that’s a site manager protocol and I am super happy with the orkin folks that I kind of have to ignore that odd issue.
Gabe is absolutely amazing!!! he didn’t only do his job but he explained to me how and why all the bugs are getting into my house and what i could do to help keep them out! he also told me about the different services that could be provided in the future for any rodents or other bugs that might pop up in the area. super professional and respectful! he even made sure my cat and my dog were okay and wouldn’t be frightened or run out of the house. i will be sticking with him for the services i need!
Chris Novitt (“Orkin”) started my regular pest control service on April 7. He was outstanding in every way. Despite the sometimes heavy rain that day, he was thorough, focused, and unhurried. He took time, for example, to give practical and detailed answers to my questions. His enthusiasm for his work was also evident, which is a real bonus.Now that the “Orkin” service has started so well, my wife and I hope that Chris can be the regularly assigned technician for our home!
Alright experience. Didn’t feel at all the money spent was worth it. He sprayed the house. Originally told it would be a gel application. And it wasn’t. Tech was done in 10min. Time will ultimately tell if the money was worth it. But overall, the Tech was professional and friendly, better than other similar businesses in the area.Cheers—

Along with being professional, punctual, and informative, Brian also takes the time to go over every step of what he is doing and takes the time to answer any and all questions. Today I called in panic due to an ant invasion in my kitchen, Brian arrived within 20minutes from me calling to take care of the problem. I’ve had orkin for years now and the service has never disappointed. The technicians are always friendly and very Informative. Satisfied customer of Orkin for over 6 years now. Started with service at my mothers house, then my own, and then also my grandmothers house. Having peace of mind knowing our home is void of all insects and critters is second to none. The technician came out to my residence in a very timely manner in our assigned appointment time told us what he needed to do and his recommendations which we took and he proceeded to spray the areas that you needed and finished up in a very timely manner and wrote our invoice and left. Prior to doing the spraying The technician explained that the problem that we were having is a natural phenomenon that is unexplainable in our area at this time which is big bear city and a lot of areas are complaining about moths.
James is the best Orkin technician out there. I had red ant problem before Orkin, after a few treatments I feel comfortable letting the kids play in the yard.Update:After 2 years of service with Orkin, James has become some one my family can trust and depend on. Wyatt who is our regular technician is so responsive and responsible and gives us awesome service. Always lets me know when hes coming and does everything I need to have done with extra concerns about certain areas. Great service from this guy and their products seem to work well
My Orkin technician does a great job spraying and cleaning spider webs keeping the bugs and creepy crawlers away from my home. I always receive extra glue traps for the entry points to keep the house bug free for the month. I get phone calls and text updates when my Tech is on his way to my house. I am a very satisfied customer.
New service technician arrived to do my quarterly service. I was very impressed, not only was he professional and knowledgeable he was extremely courteous. I was strongly considering canceling my service but after discussing the situation with my new tecnitechn Cory I decided to continue. My family has the bi-monthly pest control service. We’ve had this service several years and are very please. We have seen a noticeable decrease in insects around our property. If you have spiders, ants and other insects taking over your property, this is a valuable service.
We HAD Terminix before and I felt like the service that was provided does NOT COMPARE to how detail orientated ORKIN is!! They are way more thorough and they give additional tips to help get rid of the pests! I am truly amazed by how “above and beyond” service was provided by Nicholas,(ORKIN TECH) I feel confident that the pest problem will be resolved with the help of Orkin! Matt was great and explained everything so that it was easily understood. He was extremely professional and efficient and assured us that we would be taken care of. We even did a 1 year maintenanice agreement. The product didnt smell and he was careful to only spray the base of the home and was so consciousness of our kids and pets. Great visit! Thanks Matt!
Orkin service tech, Guillermo Molina, made contact with me before starting my scheduled service and asked me how everything was okay and if there was anything he needed to know about. After a brief conversation Guillermo did a visual check, removed webs he saw both low and high, then treated the entire exterior of the home, inside garages and around the planters at the pool. I would like to give Guillermo a shout out as when I did see Guillermo I saw how attentive he was looking for signs of bugs and not just handling a routine service call, getting out as soon as he could. Guillermo took his time to make sure these little invaders stay away. I have been a customer for approximately 7 years now and am completely happy with their service.
I’ve had good experiences before, but this time they really disappointed me. I needed services performed into a home I need to move in and scheduled the appointment since a Friday. Long story short come Monday no one showed up to perform the services and when we called back to ask for the tech to come back we were told he wouldn’t come back because he called when he was at the property and we didn’t answer. We never received a call or text. After reviewing the cameras we also saw that the tech never showed up. I am very disappointed because we have a newborn and we really need to treat the property before moving in.
Technician Chris was on time and very friendly. He assessed the gophers tunnels and set traps thoroughly! He said he would be back in a couple of days to check the traps. Technician Cory is always friendly and efficient when taking care of our yard! Chris was efficient and friendly, checking entire property and offering free termite inspection !
The gentleman that came out to service my house was very friendly, informative and arrived at the time they said he would. I also appreciated that he took the time to explain things to me and answered any all the questions I had. I like that they have open availability times to when it comes to follow up visits, that is a huge plus for me and my family! I definitely recommend this company.
So far I have had them for 2 years and theyve been great. Best thing is my Orkin Man Donald. He has come to know my likes and dislikes, he answer my questions I may have about critters, and he comes very speedily between visits if I have a need. Dunno about other Orkin men, but hes what has made it great. Love these guys.

In addition, he spent time to answer my questions about various pests and chemical treatments allowed by the state and Orkin. He also looked over the treatment area and explained what he would do and the chemicals he would use, and the benefits of monthly vs. quarterly treatments, costs, and how he would treat mosquitoes. Luis was professional, patient, diligent in his treatment process, and Informative. I truly appreciate his representation of Orkin and his due diligence. We look forward to possibly expanding out treatment and frequency to ensure the best pest control possible within our budget.
The first phone call I received from Orkin after asking for an estimate via their website was not a good one at all. It sounded like it was from a call center maybe? I was on the phone with the representative for about 3-5 minutes, asking questions about my pest situation and after quoting me, I mentioned I needed to run it by the person who would actually be paying for it. I explained that I called on her behalf since she wasn’t available to call at the time. The rep then said there was no point in talking to me since I personally wouldn’t be the one paying for the services and basically just dismissed me at that point. I just wanted to get some information as to what Orkin can offer and get a quote. Didn’t know that was bad? I immediately started looking at Terminx’s website when I got another phone call. It was Anthony who works for Orkin in San Bernardino county (where I live). I explained to him the conversation I just had a few minutes ago with another rep and he apologized and ended up helping me so much better, quoted me a much lower price than the previous rep did, and told me that once i get the okay from the person who would pay for the services to give him a call and he would continue the process. We ended up getting two techs come to our house within two hours. And everything else from there has so far been great. If it wasn’t for Anthony calling me, I would of went somewhere else. Thank you!
Technician Jeff shows up on time and professional. Went through the whole process and suggested some chemical that will better treat the termites we’re having. He then scheduled us for the second follow up visit to make sure the chemicals works. I’m one happy customer thanks Orkin

This was my first time with Orkin and my experience wasn’t that great!. I Had my appointment between the hours of 8-10am the tech should up 36 minutes lates. I had to call to find out what was going on and where was the tech. Lack of communication , would have been nice to receive a courtesy call. Beside that tech was awesome and was ok with my dog being loose in the house while he worked so he wouldn’t be locked up in the cage barking. I hope my experience for the following month will be better .
Last week, Luis came out to service our home, and found some wasp nests. He recommended to come out very early one morning in another month, so that the wasps who were out of those last nests could be controlled easily! I have used Orkin for about 4 years or so, and havent had problems like before that time.
I have always had wonderful service with Orkin. The gentleman that has been servicing my account is personable and effective. The pests around our house have drastically decreased. I especially like that I can call whenever I see an increase of pests and they will be there to address it.
Though I pay a bit more than some other pest control services might charge, I am completely satisfied with Orkin both in quality and service. Our service person, Rico, has been coming out for a few years now and has always responded immediately and professionally to every question and concern we have had. If I find a spider in the house, or a mouse in the yard, RICO is there the next day to take care of the critter in a humane and safe way. I highly recommend.

2021-08-02Came unsolicited to our property and asked to remove termite monitoring equipment from the yard when previous home owners had requested service. I gave the ok with the terms to speak again before he leaves to discuss the report and make sure everything was left in original condition. The tech told me it will be several hours before he is done. When I came back out after an hour or so, I had realized the tech had left without a sound , and didnt think much of it.... But then upon quick inspection, the tech also left behind about 30 big (pringle-can wide), deep (at least a foot or more) holes around the property premise, including cutting open our landscaping tarps and on the lawn. Many of our quartz pebbles have fallen through. The pebbles has also been messed around with tarps and Gorilla tape showing. Basically making a mess.I am not happy with the time I will have to spend to resolve the issue (I hope Orkin will send out someone to fix the holes asap), especially if the service was not requested for in the first place. Poor communication and show no respect for my property. It just feels like Orkin came and recklessly destructed my yard just because they had monitoring equipment buried there and did not return the property to its original condition.

2022-08-15Finally finally finally! I found a reliable Pest Control service. They are on time, they are professional, and they are reliable. Every experience Ive had with this company has been amazing and I would not change a thing. I recommend this business to anyone looking for pest inspection, or any kind of pest extermination. I am very satisfied with Orkin. Usually, the big businesses are the businesses that dont take time for the customer on a one-to-one basis but Orkin does. I am very satisfied I give this business 10 Stars.

2022-05-18This is my 1st time using them for my home. I actually felt very comfortable and happy with the technician (not sure jobe title) that came to my home. He was really cool and knowledgeable. I am stuck in a contract but from the looks of it so far, I think I would be okay. :)

2022-07-07David Garcia came out to do a bed bug inspection. I previously had the home inspected by Moxie because I had already found a couple live bugs. I had a lot of issues with Moxie from the detail of insurrection, information provided, scheduling and communication. Since Moxie did not provide service in a timely manner or communicate, we did everything we could to address the problem and hadnt found any signs of bugs but I still needed peace of mind and expert advice on ensuring what was needed to be sure the issue was addressed properly. David conducted a very through inspection checking everything that Moxie did not and provided a timeline on how long the problem had likely existed. He educated me of everything bed bugs and inspection. He concluded that there were not signs of bed bugs in any of our furniture, in the floorboards or the carpets. He provided me with his card and offered to come back out in a couple weeks for free to make sure I was assured. This was a much better and useful experience than working with Moxie whose staff provided very little inspection, recommendation of 6k treatment without responding to requests of current inspection and poor communication. If I feel any worry again I will be sure to use Orkin and will be switching my outdoor service from Moxie to Orkin due to better costume service and honesty.

2022-08-16When I called Orkin everything I had expected them to do was not the same as promised over the phone. However if that did not happen the problem would have persisted with the ant raids in my home and The Orkin guy wouldnt have showed up. Ethan sprayed the inside my home, put gel on the entry points of where the ants can get in to take back and kill their hives. He checked my attic for pests. He took down spiders webs around the exterior of my home before spraying around the perimeter and in the garage. At the end of the day even though there was some expectations that was miscommunicated over the phone with the call center I wouldve never been able to do any of this myself. Bottom line all I care about is for the ants to never come back and the spiders and bugs to go away, so even though it was the first visit and six more to go its worth the peace of mind. Im gonna see how well their products work and in 30 days theyll come back out to do it again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again. So if youre like me and think and say you can go to the store grab all the stuff and equipment or even order all of this stuff online to do it, you and I both know were never gonna do that until the problem presents itself. Take my advice or not and just call these guys and pay someone to do it. In the end your keeping someone employed, and the stress and time saved will be worth your money instead of putting things off. They have multiple plans to choose from so I say do what you do but I know that Im good if ants start coming back in. Im just gonna call them to come back out to get rid of them. If the ants stay away forever then Ill keep paying them to make it stay that way. Ethan was super friendly, professional, and thorough. Feels good to solve a problem.

2022-07-22Had a problem with spiders decided to call orkin they sent over Karl R. he’s been coming the past few months he’s always very attentive and answers all questions I have and spiders are almost non existent around my household not just that he also took care of ants and earwigs. I love that if you have a problem between service dates they come and handle it at no extra charge .
