What a great place to stay! We drove from Texas to greet our newest grandson and stayed for 3 weeks. The park had everything anyone wanted, including fresh oranges from a variety of trees. The laundry facility was first class - clean, neat, easy to manage (please put in a stool for short people for the upper dryers). They provide cable tv with all you want to watch! The dynamics of the park is changing all the time and makes for fun people to meet. I felt safe walking the dog at night. There are great bike trails along the river that go for miles either direction. I would recommend locking up your bikes (we had one stolen in the middle of the day), but the office was very helpful with cameras and filing a report with the police. The staff is amazing and always working to make this a great place. Anything you need is within a short drive - great restaurants, easy access to grocery stores, etc. We will return as we need to see that grandbaby. My choice of places to stay near Newport Beach.
Orangeland RV Park was a wonderful place to stay. Their front desk staff was courteous and extremely helpful. We were escorted to our parking spot and were even given help backing in. The entire premises was very clean and well cared for, and our kids enjoyed eating their delicious citrus straight from the trees. We will definitely be back again.
We stayed here for for almost a week and just loved it! The staff working here are very helpful and friendly, especially Sean, he was very helpful and I feel like he went above and beyond. Thank you Sean :)They have showers, a hot tub, pool, laundry and I loved that they had oranges you can pick. I just really enjoyed our stay here and would come back again.
Great RV park.We spent a week here and we’re pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The spots are well cared for, the whole place is kept immaculately cleaned, the pool and spa are perfect temps and again very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful and yes, we got to pick and eat fresh oranges. Great job, we will be back!!!
We loved being able to pick the fruit here! The staff was kind even though they are very busy. The site was level and we were escorted to our site. We loved having trash pick up at our site. The items in the store were convenient and reasonably priced. Well definitely come back here.
My significant other and I planned to make a reservation at this resort and we’re told there were openings available. Then was asked to provide photos of RV after providing a description. They determined due to the water damage they could not accept my RV. We were astonished and questioned how that impacted the reservation?? At our concern and questioning to speak to management, they magically found a reservation available. We decided we didn’t feel welcomed and decided to stay at another establishment. The management was pretentious and unwelcoming. We are extremely disappointed.
LOVED IT!!! I’m extremely critical of RV joints, but WOW! First things first, outstandingly clean, everywhere. Fruit trees everywhere, staff everywhere. Their pool and games area was awesome, bathrooms were great, childrens play area!!! Would recommend this to anyone traveling through or for extended stays.
The campsites are very narrow. Not much room to sit out and relax. That was ok for us since we just needed a place to stay to go to Disneyland. The pool hall was a nice touch. The hot tub was amazing. The kids loved the heated pool. The WiFi wasn’t connecting to our tv. That was a little bit of drama to get that going, but with assistance from the staff we got it going. It was also nice that the staff came and checked on us to make sure the WiFi was working. Good customer service. There are some long term residents and they don’t make the place look as appealing, but we spent most of our time at Disneyland so it was ok. Showers were nice and clean. I would come back.
Nice quiet RV Park, clean and camps store has basics and more. Great day trip access to Malibu and SoCal beaches, Plaza Mexico in Lynnwood, Palm Springs, Santa Monica mountains and trails, Hollywood, LA attractions, Disneyland, bike trails on Santa Anna River right next door! Had a great time hated to leave. Go have fun.
It is great place for families. you can use landry to $1.25 and dry. The playground is for kids from 2 year as up. The pool is medium size. the mini golf and gym are in bad shape. the places for rv are small but functional. The most exciting part for my family and I in this place was the oranges trees because is beautiful and delicious. The price is around $90 the night for hookup.
We tried to check in a lot Orangeland RV park after driving across the country to bring our children to Disneyland. We were harassed and talked down to by Paul, an attendant who presented himself as the owner of the park and told us to get off of “his” property after he spoke condescendingly to my wife and I when we asked him to leave us alone. Paul made us feel unsafe, disrespected, and threatened and we had no choice but to leave because of his misrepresentation as the owner. We then spoke with Sean who shared he wouldn’t refund us because our story conflicted with Paul’s. If you are considering staying here, reconsider.
One of the best (simple) parks we stayed at. Especially during the fruit season. You can pick your own fruits unlimited. Tangerines, lemons, grapefruit, oranges. Very clean park, nice spa zone. 1 hour drive to most of the entertainment places so rent a car if you are in a big vehicle.
THEY DO NOT ALLOW SKOOLIES. Told them before the reservation was made, drove 4 hours to get here and was denied entry. Theyre not going to refund my gas. Mostly NEW trailers and RVs, plus older, less POC clientele. Felt like profiling. They said its because of CA regulations, you can stay at a State Park in a skoolie but not here? Lies.
Good central location. The staff were all very nice. All the facilities, laundry, bathroom/showers, pool, excersize room & store were nice. Wi-fi very very slow. Sites are tight fitting, bathrooms are clean & functional but needs updating. The full timers section in the back of resort, need to tidy-up their spaces. But overall we had a nice time.
DESCRIMINATION !!! against bigger families, we have an RV that legally sleeps all, but yet this place wont take you cause you have couple more ppl ! We just needed a space to stop by for the night and not really use all their facility. They dont even give you option to pay extra for extra kids.
What a fantastic park. They really went out of their way to get us the extra night we needed. Also, picking oranges was a fabulous bonus! How fun! I had always wanted to do it and now I can saw that our family did. Very nice dog park and very clean facility. Bathrooms are wonderful and spotless. Pool is large and the family really enjoyed walking around watching the kids swim and play games. One of our favorites and we will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area! Highly Recommended!
We stayed here a month and couldnt have been happier! They are tiny-home friendly on top of it! (As long as you are RVIA certified anyway). We were so thankful for the opportunity to stay here. It was an oasis for us in crazy L.A. And Stewart, the guy who helped us park, was absolutely amazing. The entire staff was great actually. We really hope to go back again soon!
We thoroughly loved our stay with Orangeland. The staff is amazing and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Picking your own fruit throughout the park and the clean pool gained 5 star ratings from our kids. Thank you Orangeland!!! When we come back we will be staying with you again, no doubt!
DESCRIMINATION against bigger families, we have an RV that legally sleeps all, but yet this place wont take you cause you have couple more ppl ! We just needed a space to stop by for the night and not really use all their facility. They dont even give you option to pay extra for extra kids.
My stay here was a great experience. The park was a nice size with a great layout and clean. There is a nice pool and jacuzzi, putting greens, shuffle board, pool table, gym 2 dog parks. There is a general store with great prices. The staff was very friendly and maintain the park very well. I will stay here again
I must say this RV park is very well maintained and the employees are very welcoming. I was nervous about parking since I am fairly new at RV parks, however the employee there guided me in parking and it was priceless. The restrooms are up to date and always clean. They have a playground area that is covered so the little ones can enjoy themselves and not get too much sun. We will definitely return and visit again.
My family and I traveled from Albuquerque to Californias orangeland RV Park. Upon arrival the staff was friendly and welcoming. The gentleman who helped park our RV was very helping and very nice. Our family got a a gift bag which included really cool stuff. I highly recommend a Lot 23 if you get a chance, easy pull through nice and quiet area. The RV park is close to Disneyland the baseball stadium I highly recommend this place. The issue was the weak WIFI.
Beautiful campground, helpful, friendly staff. We were in the city and expected to have lots of traffic noise. We did not have traffic noise and slept great, heated pool, small putt putt and being able to pick fresh fruit for snack or breakfast was the best! Clean, clean, clean. It was close to knots berry and Disney. Great location and service. (Reasonable prices for laundry and lots of machines)
This is a really well cared for RV park. There are a mix of seasonal, weekly, and overnighters but it works seamlessly. I have not stayed at a park with a higher number of employees actively working to keep the grounds well maintained. They began to feel like neighbors always waving and saying hello. We stayed there with our kids and it was a quiet but friendly park which is exactly what we love. Where else can you also pick your own oranges and lemons and make your own fresh orange juice for breakfast. It adds a really fun touch to the park. It is a bit of a drive to the downtown LA things to do, but its worth the drive to stay at this park. Thank you for the wonderful few weeks! We highly recommend!
I am very disappointed in this establishment. My boyfriend and I are on a cross country road trip all the way from Indiana, we decided to pick this park to stay at since it was close to Disneyland and that was one thing we wanted to do. After making reservations for just one night we started to head to the RV park. During our trip to the RV park, our RV started giving us troubles and we are currently stuck on the side of the road 8+ hours away from the RV park. There was no way we were going to make it to the RV park in time to enjoy our time there for a night so we decided we are going to head back home to Indiana after the RV is up and running again, which may be a few days!!! We called the RV park to let them know our situation and they stated that we would not be getting our $85 deposit back (one night’s stay). Even though we JUST booked it this morning about 3 hours before having to cancel. Now, I completely understand cancellation policies but come on… there should be exceptions for emergency situations like this… have a heart! Thanks for adding even more stress to this already stressful situation! VERY disappointed in management for this one.
So nice the welcome pack you get along with the fact you can just put a bag a trash out on the curb and its gone almost as soon as you turn around. The grounds are clean and the spots are nice with patches of grass in between. The place is FULL and the small spaces mean people park on the road and it seems packed tight which might make you nervous to be able to back in with so little room . . . . lucky, when you arrive they take you to the spot and help you back in! We didnt spend a bunch of time there, mostly sleeping and showering but it was great.
I loved this park. They are all friendly, sweet, and go out of their way to make sure youre nothing less than comfortable and satisfied. Lots of amenities and friendly neighbors as well! Had a blast staying here!! Will come back again whenever we take the trek to Anaheim!!
Oh my goodness, this has been an absolute pleasure. The park is clean, the pool is beautiful and warm, the environment is wonderful. Tim, the night manager, was absolutely amazing and getting a setup and very thoughtful in regards to our children and the preparation for a great vacation. And on top of it all! We have real orange is growing right outside of our motorhome, with the most amazing smell of orange blossoms flooding the park. Thanks again Orangeland. You guys are amazing!
Dishonest management. They offer a monthly rate for long term and do not honor it once they find out that you make above a certain amount. 400.00 a week for a filthy site, next door to hoarders. 900.00 monthly is the going rate but once your here it stays at the 400 weekly.
My husband moves R.V.s for a living so weve ween many R.V. accommodations. I give Orangeland a high recommendation! This park is nicely landscaped and beautifully maintained. The staff are friendly and responsive. There are 2 nicely kept designated dog runs. It is quiet and peaceful. The pool, Jacuzzi, bbq gathering area and other amenities,(laundry room, club room, showers) are clean and welcoming. The citrus trees throughout are an added bonus and guests are encouraged to enjoy the harvest in season. The on-sight store is convenient and reasonably priced. There are also many grocery stores in the immediate area. It is centrally located near many major attractions. I will happily continue coming here!
This place is wonderful! Bring your family! Enjoy the pool and picking fresh oranges at your rv site! THEY WERE SO GOOD! The staff was more than helpful even when we needed to cut the our padlock off our hitch! (we lost the key). I wish I would have asked his name but the gentlemen that helped us pull in, also picked up everyones trash bags with a smile on his face, and helped us cut the lock! I will definitely be staying here again when I visit California. The vibe here is great!
Really enjoyed this RV park. Small sites but friendly attendant helps to guide you in. Pleasant full-time neighbors, clean grounds with lots of foliage, excellent laundry. Orange trees throughout the park, pick all you want. Close to the Santa Ana River paved bike path. Stores and restaurants nearby. Angels stadium just around the corner. Reasonably priced for location.
The park is nice, and our lot was level. They dont have cable, but give you some Cisco box to hook up into your coach system. No instructions and never could get it to work. Called the office and they said they would send someone over...never showed up. I have a newer Tiffin,, with good tv system,, but it just wouldnt work.. For the price of 70+ a night, they need cable or a better system.
Im sitting here right now, looking out from our spot at Orangeland RV Park, after a long, grim trip across COVID country. What a lovely place this is! The staff couldnt be nicer - they were so incredibly patient with us. I blew out my knee in St. Louis, and was held up several times. They just kept changing our reservation, and though I asked them to charge me for this service, they refused. We even got a charming gift bag when we arrived! Youll get all the amenities. The little camp store is wonderful, and theres a Ralphs about a mile away. The park map is filled with connections listing various services you may need, including repairs. But what strikes me most about this park is the landscaping. Weve been staying at Newport Dunes when we came to see my husbands family, (not a lot of RV parks in LA) and the place costs twice as much as this one, with crummy, tiny spots, no grass, and dirt/sand everywhere that gets in everything, and the smell hangs around with you until you get home. This place is green, filled with orange trees. Yes, you can pick an orange for yourself, and the trees are full of them. Of course there are the usual LA negatives - the lack of space. The dog run is a bit silly, about the size of a coffin. The spaces are small, and you may have a time of it with a large, slide-filled rig. We upgraded to a place with a table and umbrella, and Im glad we did. We have a lot more space. The pads are level, shiny clean blacktop. If youre looking for a place to stay in LA, weve done just about all of them, and you couldnt do better than Orangeland.
We really like this park. The Tims are amazing. I dont like one of the custodians. He was rude when I took too long in the shower and ran over into cleaning time and kept yelling into the womens shower. Being disabled and showering the kids, it just took longer than I planned. I felt like my husband was able to handle the issue though and didnt have another problem. Were planning to go again. The amenities are nice. The standard spots are pretty small, but you can upgrade.
Although they tell you no refund we made a reservation and within hours we had to change it because the person and the only person we leave our dogs with said she would be out of town. We made reservation for December 26, 2021 and called to tell them we couldn’t make it and they would not even consider giving us back the $80. Seems to me just out of courtesy they would have considered it because they would not allow our 3 small dogs only 2 would be allowed. I guess they need the more than we do. We really miss Anaheim RV park because they were very concerned about the RVers. Hope they go back in service. I would never use Orangeland just out of principles. We RV all over the United States and never had an issue with refund if cancelled within a few hours. Thank you Orangeland for showing us your customer service before we came.
Had a great stay at this park. Check in was a breeze and was even escorted to the site. Lots of room to move a large rig safely through the park. Sites were a decent size and grass in between a nice touch in an urban stetting. park is very clean, well maintained and had several really nice conveniences such as a wash station and air compressor. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!
Stayed here while we were visiting Disneyland. Nice little park that is clean and well maintained. Has a pool, pool table and several other activities to keep everyone entertained including a playground. A little convenience store at the office was nice for those last minute little things. Staff was nice and helpful. They have a little dog area for the little ones to go, its all gravel and smells horrible, but its not worth taking a star for. Overall we will stay there again. Oh and its close to Disney too. A little farther than the hotels but my trailer is mine.
Location was amazing for being close to John Wayne Airport, and I had a business trip I had to fly out for. Location also convenient to Angels Stadium and the Honda Center for hockey/concerts...but this means location in general kind of rides that fine line of safe during the day, probably wouldnt walk around outside at night. Staff gets a 5 out of 5 - they were really friendly. 5 for access to cable - they have a box in the office you have to request and then it works like a charm. Bathroom cleanliness was also great. The park is fairly small and the dog areas are also very small - dogs arent allowed to do their business anywhere but there...not even on the grass outside of the park so that can be a bit of a challenge. We stayed here a week and were surprised when we left for the airport at 5am that there was a security truck driving around. There are also security cameras everywhere which was comforting. Pool and other facilities looked nice although we did not use them. The only negatives are that the spaces are pretty tight, not a lot of grassy areas pets can use, and last, they were putting down tar patches the day we left. A little warning on that would have been nice as we didnt realize until we were walking the dogs and had to pick them up so they wouldnt get their feet in it. Overall, nice park to pass through.
Horrible and completely unfair cancel policy. Park requires a one day full rent non-refundable deposit ($90) to reserve a space. I have no issue with a fair and reasonable cancel policy. Over 90% of RV parks have a cancel policy of 24-72 hours prior to arrival with a nominal $10-$15 admin fee. Not this place. They steal one full days rent if you have to cancel. I will never stay here again
Great place. The spaces are close together, but we had no problems parking our 32 ft travel trailer. Very clean, felt very safe with family and the location was awesome (took us, maybe, 10-15 minutes to drive to Disneyland designated parking). Would have no hesitation staying here again. Thank you!
As many know, reviews are subjective and often based upon individual expectations which for some are higher than others. That being said, this is a great little park. Not many options for RV parks in the LA Basin/LA Area. Dockweiler is always a nice option but it was closed thanks to unnecessary draconian COVID restrictions. Not sure there is a shred of evidence that RV Parks are a source of COVID transmission, but it is what it is. Orangeland is a good option! Staff was welcoming and friendly. Reservations were easy. The park is relatively clean and full of citrus trees. You can pick your own oranges, grapefruit etc. Nice amenities. We enjoyed our stay but... if you are not used to having permanent residents who display all their yard art and junk, then this may not be the right RV park for you. It is unfortunate that long term or permanent living is allowed. Most of the RVs have not moved in a long time. They are not cleaned or well maintained. This detracts from an otherwise nice place to stay.
Out of a lot r.v parks we have stayed this one is definitely in our top 3. Well maintained property, people & pet friendly. The dog wash area is a big plus. Have never met such a group of wonderful staff members. So helpful and full of knowledge of the happenings in the area. The store on property is by far the best stocked of any place we have stayed and the prices are very reasonable. Cant wait to visit SO CAL again so we can make reservations at Orangeland.
My husband and I came here for our 7 days out of the park where we usually live. As per California law. Someone mentioned this place to us. We came and checked it out, this is a great facility. Beautiful grounds and great people that run it. I know this is where we will stay from now on when we have our 7 days out. They have so many beautiful orange trees growing everywhere. Beautiful pool and spa.
We had a great stay at Orangeland. When we first arrived, I was pretty stressed from pulling the trailer on LA freeways, but we were greeted so warmly by the staff, it really began what was a great experience. They even gave us a welcome package (work gloves, Sudoku book, finger LED light and few other niceties) along with maps of the area. The place is really, really clean. They even pick up your garbage. The orange trees are great and you can pick them yourselves and check out pickers (for free) to reach the higher ones. The pool is nice and the showers were very clean. There is a nice play area for kids, but the real attraction is the proximity to Disneyland. It is an easy 10 minute drive (no freeways) to Disneyland, and about a 20 minute drive to Knotts Berry Farm. The staff was always very nice and really helpful, and the location cant be beat.
Very nice RV Park close to Disneyland. We were on a two week road trip stopping at many RV parks and this one was one of the best. We arrived late due to LA traffic, and the security guy helped us find our spot and even helped my mom back our 42 foot pusher into the spot. It was a great first impression. The next morning we woke up and they had free donuts, fruit and coffee.
Crowded and dense (as expected here, especially this close to Disneyland), but great service, friendly, clean, fast wifi, all the usual amenities, convenient location -- a few minutes to Disney, about 45 mins to downtown LA (w/ traffic). Well definitely be using this as home base on our trips to S CA.
Excellent facility to stay in! No one bothers you, a lot of great service and help from employees, wonderful staff, trees are amazing! The fruit taste wonderful, not bad pricing, great space for campers/rv/trailers. Totally recommend the area since it is in a nice location! :)
Awesome park. Clean, paved, super-friendly, first class service. It was our first time there, and they gave us a welcome package with some very thoughtful swag (gloves, garbage bage, hose washers, etc.). Nice clubhouae and pool. Plus, there are fresh oranges and lemons growing on the trees. It was so fragrant, and the oranges were sweet and juicy in early April when we visited. Great park.
Very nice RV park. The guve you a fun goodie bag upon arrival. The staff are friendly and helpful. I borrowed their orange picker, walked around the park and picked a dozen Valencia oranges one morning.Location. Location. Location (after COVID). The park is close to Disneyland, Honda Center, Anaheim Ducks and so much more. Their store is full of Disney trinkets, food and emergency items.
We really enjoyed our 2 week stay at Orangeland. First RV Park we’ve ever been to where they help you park your camper and pick up your garbage at your site. Also, just the small gesture of a welcome goodie bag was great! Gift shop also held a wide variety of camper supplies. Great pool, hot tub, laundry facilities, and bean bag toss! Bring your own beanbags (we always carry them) if you want to play after the shop closes at 8:00. Very laid back, felt safe there, and walking distance to many places. There’s a Ralph’s (Kroger) 1 mile down the road so you don’t have to fight traffic trying to get to a Walmart. We even got to see fireworks from the Angels stadium both Saturday nights we were there. Definitely recommend.
Nice park close to Disneyland. All spaces are paved and ok sized, but not exactly roomy. Trees especially citrus are in abundance and fruit is free for the picking. Well maintained and generally quiet. Biggest drawback is cost. Its not a bargain, but its LA. Wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.
Tim was great. Helped me get into my spot and sean trimmed the tree back for me to park my truck. On the down side, Sean had to trim the tree because backing in scratched the snug top. They knew the size of my rig and truck, the site was too tight. The dog potty areas smell horribly. I watered every time i took my dogs potty hoping to help.Everyone was very nice, but 1 gal, but she just had an off day we all have those and were good 😉.The city does a great job making you feel safe as there are a lot of transients. But no issues. There is a bar on the other side so can be noisy and very late noise and bright lights. Just make sure to request a middle spot.Right next to angels stadium, which was pretty cool. Nice eats across rhe way, as well.
Booked a one night stay in a premium site on May 15. I was told I had to pay the entire amount as a deposit in advance. Due to the ongoing Covid 19 restrictions imposed by Newsom I had to cancel my CA vacation plans which included cancellations at another 4 CA RV parks. Orangeland was the ONLY park which kept the ENTIRE deposit. My reservation wasnt until late July which should have provided ample time for them to rebook my reservation. Very poor business practice. Shame on the ownership for this policy. The only reason Ive given an extra star is the Manager Larry was cordial.**** update to your response**1st off, thanks for responding. As of today I have yet to receive a refund. I do see a charge of 86.50 from your company back on 5/18. That is the only transaction on my account.
This is the best rv park my family and I have ever been to.It is always clean and always has a friendly and helpful staff. The park is fun for young kids the pool is always well maintained and clean. the trash pickup is a nice added benefit. The showers and bathroom are large and clean and of course all the oranges you can eat. I would and have recommended this park to friends of family when going to Disneyland or any southern California destination
This is a really nice place to stay. Its the weekend we were here there was a two-day concert Saturday and Sunday. The concert was loud obnoxious and vulgar.please look at event at the Honda center which is only a block away, see if you could handle a concert day and night. The music was overly loud and not conducive to family vacation time.
Park: 5 starsStaff: 5 starsOur Space: 3 starsValue: 3 starsWere a young family (relatively) of casual RVers that tow a 24ft travel trailer after realizing camping in tents with young kids doesnt work very well. That said, we camp with the expectation of outdoor space to sit and use our outdoor stove... or enjoy an adult beverage once the kids are asleep. My husband is a trucker so making reservations can be a dicey proposition if he isnt home on time, especially with cancellation fees... so I expected we would be staying farther away from Disneyland than we would otherwise.Orangeland was our third choice, since Disneyland was further away and much pricier, and we got what was literally their last spot. We didnt care about the pool or the playground because we were only there three nights and didnt spend a single day at the RV park. What we cared about was space, which we didnt have. The staff was great, but when my issue with not being able to put out our sunshade due to an orange tree became secondary to the realization we were supposed to park our truck on our patio - I was nonplussed by the non-premium sites completely. Knowing that, I would have looked for a park further out that met our desires for how we like to spend our limited vacation opportunities. I definitely did not feel good about paying more than the other nearby parks for what was essentially a parking spot. It was so tight that we had to pull our truck forward in order to load kids in the back seat and our slide out was nestled in the tree on the other side. That said, the park is lovely and the staff is great. They even offered to bring us a table which wouldnt have helped much given we had to park 2.5ft from our RVs door. We just wont book a site in the future thats in the periphery of the site - well try for an interior spot, keep looking or book a hotel next time.
This place is the best! Centrally located, excellent staff, super nice residents, and fruit trees everywhere that you can eat. Tim helped us place our camper with a forklift for optimal space usage, gave us pavers to help with leveling and trimmed the tree so we had more room to park. This place is A#1 the best. The park is always so clean I wonder when they have time to rest. The pool is very nice, clean, perfect water temperature and has some nice shade when you want out of the sun. I havent used their grilling area or laundry facilities but they look top notch. We will be staying here for at least 3 months and if things go right we may become permanent residents like the other 100 or so people who already call this slice of heaven home.
This is a great site for families, couples or if youre single. They have all you need, even a gym. The bathrooms are clean and the staff is friendly. We will definitely book here again, its worth it. There is also a theater and restaurants near by. And a rock climbing place across the street 😊
Great park. We were here on business but very close to Disney if thats why you are coming. Walking distance to Honda center, Angels stadium, and the train station (rode down to San Diego for a day and loved the close proximity). Pool is nice. The kids LOVED picking fresh orange juice for our breakfast. We live in our 5th whee full time to travel with my husband. The cable wasnt great and the spots are so small. We have a 40 ft camper with 2 trucks. We had to upgrade to the premium ($425 a week!) and still couldnt fit both cars in the spot. We had to park one down at the office (and thats only an option if they have an extra spot there. Right now all of those extra spots are occupied. You get a sticker for the spot so no one else parks there). If you are staying for vacation its perfect. We are just trying to stay as close to long beach for as cheap as possible since we are here for work.
I have a 2000 fleetwood flair in almost perfect condition . Weve stayed at Orangeland before several times with no problems although the ladies at the office always act like if they were doing us a favor by letting us stay there. Unfortunately we tried to make reservation there again and the lady was extremely rude and said I had to send pics of RV (which they already had on file) for manager approval . i sent pics and she said ok
Very nice park. Clean and well maitained. Like many rv parks has quite a few long term folks but they keep it all neat an tidy under control. Friendly people staff and guests. Getting to pick oranges and grape fruit right off the trees in the park a major perk, awsome tasting.
The people at Orange land I like a family. Kind, considerate, and always inviting. I try to go every Tuesday to play Bingo. Super group of people. The RV facilities at great, the grounds are well keeped. And the bathroom facilities are always clean with lots of hot water.
Our first time RVing, we drove from Las Vegas to Orange, CA to visit Disneyland and Universal Studios. We originally planned to stay only 3 days but ended up extending it for a full week because this place was awesome! They have convenient shuttles to the major theme parks. Swim in the pool and pick fresh fruit off the trees around the park.
Nice. Grounds well kept. Staff is rude and clucky. I camped there with my husband and two adult sons. Maintenance workers and longtimers lurk at night. It was very uncomfortable to use the public Restroom and/or Shower during Overnight Hours. My son had a 3am confrontation with a worker he felt was watching him shower after hearing a muffled conversation and comments concise to what he was doing at that exact moment. The worker denied wrong doing then tried to justify his actions by accusing my son, an Air Marshall working varied schedules, of doing weird things in the restroom. The place is nice but the people running it are strange. I wont visit that park again antime soon.
A nice RV park that felt safe and looked well maintained. Very unique in that they had orange trees which were ripe at the time and they invited us to pick as much fruit as we wanted. We picked a bunch of oranges and they were delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Stayed here last weekend. Very clean. Nice staff. Close to Angels stadium. Went to a game. Saw fireworks from stadium next night. Close to beaches. Down fall...lots of fulltime rvs...some were a bit ugly looking. Overall though...enjoyed our stay. Will stay again in the future.
If you just want to go to the local attractions its ok. Dont think dogs welcome, 2 super small dog parks that are NASTY (smell like pee), only rocks down no grass area for them. No guest parking. Typical California RV park, except they have full timers who are very snarky!
Clean facilities, nice pool, but the back and sides of the park are dingy like a trailer park. The staff is friendly. Not a vacation place though. Id book in the front area where it looks like people are visiting, not living there. I like to post pictures, so take a look at what I mean.
Picked up a trailer from the park from an Australian family who was headed home. Had to park in front of the air and water station but the head manager was ok with it since it would be just a short time while we hooked up. 30 minutes later the janitor came around and started having a corranary over it and when I explained to him what we were doing he said he didnt care and to move. When I said itll be 3 minutes he called the police. Frankly Id never stay there now. Park looked nice but not for 50$ a night and rude staff.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Orange County...stay at Orangeland! The staff at Orangeland make you feel right at home. They really care about things and really take care of the place as if it is their home too! I would highly recommend Orangeland RV park to anyone.
Extremely expensive when you park your RV pray that it is narrow enough to fit in the spots this park is always packed to the gills staff seems dimwitted. only reason why they exist is because they are only one of two RV parks near Disneyland Resort dont waste your time if you have an RV
What a cool place. Went to visit our friends who were staying here for a week. Brought my two young kids along. Pool and pingpong tables were a big bonus. Lots of bbq areas and shade. And, its right across the highway from Angels Stadium. So close we could hear when Pujols hit his 600th homerun/grandslam! This place is hidden in the middle of a very industrial area but from inside youd never know it! Its not Yosemite but its pretty good for an RV park in the middle of a major city.
Loved it! This park had all types of trailers to million dollar motor coaches. We stayed in September in a 31ft Class B. Very friendly staff.Cable - No but the hookups were there and we did get MSNBC in HD.Wifi - With a code from the office we got free Wifi (decent speeds - 4mb/1mb) Has Netflix blocked but HBO and Comcast could still be streamed.Has a shuttle to Disneyland and he will even pick you up from your lot if you have kids and tip well.Street side trash pickupBathroom and showers - Clean and needed a code to enter.Lots of fruit trees - pick the ripe ones.We will be back.
The place is managed grate and clean.....no complaints there. .” But”. If you like to watch cable tv , You have to get a black box from the office that when you connected it does not work. Then you call the office... they have to call warner cable or who ever they use, to get approval for a signal and that was not fast😩mmmmmmmnow I finally got cable ... ... I hope the owner fixes this great inconvenience because the place is very nice.

2021-10-30What a great place to stay in the heart of California. Close to Disneyland (a straight and easy shot, even with an RV to park at the Disneyland parking). Very clean and well organized. A wonderful pool and plenty of showers. The fruit trees are great. The entire family enjoyed picking and eating fresh fruit. But the staff is the real gem of the place. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back to stay at the Orangeland RV campground.I have read many of the reviews and must say that from my experience at the site is far better than what many of the 1 and 2 star folks are saying. Being the heart of the city it is noisy, but that is kind of expected. Very few of those reviews were helpful to me. Not true for all of them, some were worth reading.Stay here if your goal is to vacation in town. Camping here… well I would rather camp on the beach or in the mountains.

2022-04-27Perfect location! Close to Disneyland, the Stadium and the Event Center. The sites are roomy with orange trees between. Theres an off-leash doggy area and a sparkling clean swimming pool. The staff is super nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

2021-11-11Great place to vacation or stay if your in the area. Perfectly located to visit Disneyland, the Angels stadium and the Honda center. Very well kept, and a fantastic staff. They are all friendly and helpful. There is a pool, cardio room, outdoor seating area, community BBQ area, and lots of citrus trees throughout the park. Although it has businesses surrounding the park it is quiet at night also. Truly a great RV location.

2022-03-29Orangeland RV park is our 62nd stop and stayed for 28 days. Located just steps away from the Honda Center, and a short distance Anaheim Angels stadium, Interstate 5 and Disneyland, it is very convenient to so much but nicely tucked back from the main road. Some road noise during the day but not bad. The check in process was efficient, they give you a nice welcome package, and we had an excellent guide to help us into our space – the interior roads are a bit tight and we have a 38 foot Class A. The staff are all friendly and work hard to keep the place looking good – celebrating the 50th anniversary. The interior sites are larger than the back in sites along the exterior walls but you are still very close to your neighbors behind you. And the asphalt pads are generally level. The facilities are clean and the longer-term sites are decently maintained. And yes, there are citrus fruit trees throughout the park. At 7:30 am, T-Mobile 48.4 down/1.5 up; Verizon 66.1 down/4.1 up; WiFi 3.4 down/2.2 up.It is a very solid park and would have rated it a 4.3 but moved it down to a 3.8 due to the pet policy. You are charged $10 per day for your pet but cannot see what you get for it except numerous signs to keep dogs off the grass. The 2 dog runs are the size of small reclaimed rv sites with gravel and have a very strong odor (not usually something that bothers me) – my dog would not even go in. They have a dog wash but the hot water lasted less than 2 minutes. Thankfully we found the Orange Dog Park Association with two huge dog park, the Eisenhower Park (both about 5 miles) away and the Santa Ana River Trail just outside the RV park. Would recommend and stay here again if in the area.

2022-06-01Stayed here for 2 nights. we loved how clean the park is. Super friendly staff and very quiet neighbors. The kids loved the playground, and the super clean restrooms. Elaine was very helpful to me on the phone, and Keira went the extra mile when asked to help me to choose a spot with a tree. We decided to stay again for june, july and august. i just wished the weekly or monthly discount still applied even if we didnt book the weekends since the nights i booked did total to 33-34 nights. I compared their regular overnight prices to newport dunes and i dont care if theyre a bit higher. This place is so much peaceful and cleaner than any other rv parks in the area. Worth the $$ for sure.

2022-06-25We stayed for 3 nights as we visited LA and Disney. From the beginning, everything was great. The check-in people were very friendly and funny. They gave us some tips and advice that were helpful. We were escorted to our site and shown the hook ups. All the amenities (bathrooms, showers, shuffleboard, pool, corn hole) were all operational and very clean. Trash was picked up at our site each day between 9am and 8pm. We noticed that employees were always doing something to make the park better. No employees were just sitting around. Absolutely great place and would definitely return.

2022-03-18What a hidden gem this place is. Very clean, super friendly and great location. The sites are well maintained with ample room for a big rig. They have a nice general store with decent prices, the shower facilities were very clean and the pool/jacuzzi felt great after a long day at Disneyland. Prices arent bad considering it is SoCal and the location is central so you can get to the amusement parks, beaches shopping/dining easily.

2022-04-10We stayed here and it was very pleasant. The staff was friendly, the pool was great and at night it was very quiet. We enjoyed staying here and will be back.If you have a larger trailer I would definitely opt for the premium or preferred spots as this park is very tight. You can get in but even in the preferred spot we had to ask people to move their cars.
