The food here is a combination of Persian and Italian. We had a perfectly made Manhattan with our shrimp cocktail, which was served on a bed of arugula with cherry tomatoes and olives, with goat cheese and deep fried pita pieces. I had the lamb chops which were amazing, with apricot/almond rice and grilled fresh vegetables. My husband had the venison, grilled flawlessly served with delicious, cheesy potatoes and asparagus. OMG! And, the service was ideal...our server Rick, should be a model for other restaurants...cant wait to go back!
You get what you pay for and I believe I didnt get what I paid for. I dont mind paying as long as the portion equals the amount but in this case it isnt, this is not a fine dining place where you expect to pay a lot and get little. Ordered the stroganoff pasta and they gave me half a plate with dried out bread. The pasta was pretty good but rating is for the overall experience vs the price. They were more generous with my wifes kebab portion but not my sons pasta also so there was really no consistency . Over all food is 4 star less that dried out bread. Staff is nice and friendly so thats a plus!
Great menu, although a little bit limited. The food is not awesome, but really good and the location pretty ok. But the prices are waay too high for the food. They even charge you for the water. Even though its just a few bucks, but hey water should be free. My wife and I went to have dinner a few weeks ago, and I dont expect it to be cheap, but over $130 bucks for dinner for two people is way too much. I would not be going back soon, but if you are willing to spend the money, its okay for a one time experience.
Setting up tons of tables outside while not increasing kitchen capacity was a terrible mistake on Mothers Day. 80 minutes in and just getting our soups and salads....thanks for trying out. I am only giving 2 stars because on a normal day they do a mediocre job.UPDATE: Things just kept getting worse. Dropping to 1 star. They were out of dessert. When the assistant manager finally came over the best he could offer was the employee discount to make up for this horrible experience.ADDITIONAL ADVICE: treat your employees better. Thats a pretty poor employee discount.
This place is extremely overpriced for very mediocre food. We were charged 70 dollars per person and 32 dollars per kid. The food wasn’t even that good. Most things in the buffet were cold, and had a very cheap and low quality taste to them. Do NOT go to this restaurant, you will be incredibly disappointed. You can get better food practically anywhere for less than half the price they charge here.
We went on a Saturday night around 5 and didnt have reservations. We were able to be seated right away, though it did fill up some by the time we left. They had a beautiful outdoor seating area.Everything we ordered was great. The bruschetta was delicious and probably or favorite thing we ate. The paella was HUGE. You could easily split it. The other meals were delicious and beautiful. We also ordered the ultimate sausage meal and Jack Daniels sirloin. They were good, though I feel like their medium rare was more like medium. The one thing I will say is their menu is pretty hard to read through. There is so much to read and they arent necessarily find you know what to expect by glancing at. If it is overwhelming, just ask for recommendations, the wait staff seemed very knowledgeable.
My new favorite Happy Hour spot! Daily happy hour 3-7 pm. Jonathon & Justin are very friendly and great bartenders! Very attentive , they ask details of how you would like your drinks and deliver accordingly. The old fashioned lemon drop is wonderful! The sliders on a pretzel bun and hummus are excellent offerings. The Eggplant Dip, not so much. They also have included appetizers set out, but havent been impressed with those selections. Music plays in the background, plus they frequently have live music that adds to the experience and doesnt interfere with conversation. Nice covered front patio in addition to a pretty entrance with a fountain. Now we need to try the restaurant side. We will be back!
This place is perfect for you if you like Moldy food and bad service. Once the delivery person dropped off our order, we saw that all the pita bread was visably covered in mold from our hummus order. We immediately called the restaurant. We were left sitting on hold for over 10 mins / forgotten about, when I had my husband hang up and call back. Upon calling back the person on the line told us that someone was sent out with new food and they had included some extra things. When the delivery person arrived for a second time, they again put major emphasis on these extra things theyd included. We were still unhappy at this point that we were never even offered to have this refunded from our bill, but figured - hey, they sent us some extra things, lets see what it is. Well, it turned out to be about $0.80 worth of raw carrots and a few slivers of red pepper with the hummus dish we already paid for. It was actually more insulting for them to make a big deal of these extra things than say nothing at all in this case. I would expect far more care and effort to a customer whos been given moldy food. NEVER ever again.
Terrible experience my family and I were there for my wifes B.day it all started with not getting my appetizers they forgot or misplaced ticket at least thats what waitress told us so we got are main course I didnt get what I had ordered they managed to ruin that as well waitress says to me Ill fix that for you this plate cost less so Ill wont charge you for the plate you ordered I didnt think that was the way to fix it I tried to stay calm and eat the food I had ordered when a gentlemen creeps up from behind me and asked are you done eating I wasnt I dont think he was gonna take my plate if I answered yes made me feel rushed we brought my sons burger when he decided to have it later on that day, there was a plastic infused with the cheese and patty I took pictures to me that was the last straw.
I had high hopes of this place after going back to give it another try The chicken koubideh, was dry, overdone. not worth the price you pay for. The nice outdoor dining area with music is the saving grace. Have eaten here before and seems their food is not consistent. Weekends are their busiest so I suggest go when its less crowds and you may get more of quality food and service based on their reviews. Hopefully, they will make some positive changes in the quality of food with returning customers.
Truly one of my favorite restaurants in only the SCV but really anywhere. Love their menu, kind of an American, Mediterranean and Italian mix. Some of the best lasagna Ive ever had. A wonderful eclectic interior design, a great patio area with a large water fountain and pretty much always has live music. The beer, wine and cocktail menu is excellent. Staff couldnt be more friendly and lastly I love the older gentlemen that I think is the owner, you can really tell he loves what he is doing. Ive suggested this place to a ton of friends and every one of them loves it as well
Atmosphere and service are great, but the food is a hit or miss. With so much on the menu you can’t be great for every dish. We had Prime Rib, Paella Valencia and Herb Crushed Sea Bass. Prime Rib was excellent, the Paella Valencia was just ok. The Sea Bass was served 20 minutes after. It was over cooked, very dry and barely warm. I mentioned it to the waiter and he insisted to have another one cooked for me (signs of a classy restaurant) although the effort was appreciated the second one was under cooked still very dry and raw in the center. I assumed the sea bass was old and frozen. I didn’t say anything nor did I eat it. I would definitely stay away from the sea food unless you can confirm it is fresh.
More than a $$ restaurant. It is more for parties than a couple. The food was good until my son found a hair in his chicken. They offered us more bread, we declined and they never removed the empty basket. They never cleared off our empty bottles or plates. Not impressed at all and very expensive. $24 to $98 menu items and all alacarte
Omg YES!! The best meal Ive had in a LONG time!Jennifer was our waitress, cant wait to go back, she made our night!!I need to praise the live music, what a fab ambiance!!!I LOVE DATE NIGHT!!! ❤Update!!!Everytime we go to Olive Terrace is just spectacular!! I must say, I know we would probably enjoy trying new places but Olives always pulls us back in.🤪🤪🤪happy to share another date night here with my hunnielove❤️
Great ambiance, but overpriced and not very good. If you want good Mediterranean food, go elsewhere. This was my first time going here today. I enjoyed the smoked salmon appetizer. I ordered the koobideh. I took most of it home to throw away. It doesnt have a good flavor, the texture isnt good, and because it was brunch, I had to pay $30 for this meal. Surprisingly the wait staff didnt seem to notice that I didnt enjoy my food despite my eating only 2 bites of it. Or maybe theyre used to people not enjoying the food. Either way, the main dish is worth probably $12/$13 max. I was really looking forward to this restaurant. I really wanted good Mediterranean food. Unfortunately this wasnt it. I feel like I got ripped off.I hope to find a good Mediterranean restaurant, but this spot isnt it.
My boyfriend took me here for our anniversary date and the food was really bad. I got the Baked Chicken Lasagna Alfredo and it was mush. It was so greasy and the pasta was over cooked and it just tasted like mush. I barely ate it and when I told the waiter he said “unfortunately I can’t take that off the check for you but I can give you a free dessert”. The desert was delicious and the band was nice. I would recommend this place just to have some drinks and eat bread and even have some dessert. Won’t be coming here again.
Amazing food and great service. Their food tasted so well we were surprised. Live music was great too. This is definitely more of a mid to upper range cost as the average item is $30+. Their arnold palmer drink definitely had some weird taste to it so we changed to something else.
This place is Amazing! Walked in, sat down right away on a Saturday. Great service, beautiful atmosphere/vibes. Food was absolutely DELISH! Drinks were great. Over all a lil pricey but after all was set and done I would of paid more because this restaurant is That great! Next time I wanna dine in the outdoor cabana area! Its beautiful! 😍😋🙌
The food is absolutely amazing. The takeout portions are huge. We got the dinner for two with prime rib and salmon. It came with appetizers side dishes, dessert, and a bottle of wine (we opted for San Pellegrino) for less than $80 for two people. We will be back soon!
We have loved ordering and eating in at this restaurant but had a horrible experience with their app and they dont seem to care to help rectify the situation. We used the restaurants app to order food on Memorial Day and after an hour of waiting for our food to arrive realized the restaurant was closed. We were never informed that our order was not completed. We are still waiting for them to refund our money. Talked to two different people about the situation and no one has helped us thus far.I never give bad reviews but I feel this is very unprofessional and I should share this experience with others.
The place itself was really nice but I wasnt too impressed with the food. Not super flavorful. The one thing that was good was the charcuterie bored. The service was very good though! The waiters were very friendly and were attentive to are big party. They made sure we had everything we needed.
This is my favorite date night dining place. I love the menu which is creative, great tasting and reasonably priced. I love the staff, incredibly professional, helpful and kind. The atmosphere is perfect for adult conversation and we have celebrated multiple occasions as well as scheduled business meetings (lunch and dinner) here. Some nights they have even had live music. I promise, you will not be disappointed with this dining experience.
What a great find this turned out to be. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the grilled romaine, frittata, baked Italian sausage tagliatelle and pomegranate chicken. Everything tasted great and the presentation was excellent. The entire staff was terrific. They were all very friendly and helpful. They worked well as a team. The owner, Ray, was especially great. He went out of his way to find a big table with lots of room outside for us and our 3 dogs. We watched him greet diners as they entered the restaurant and tell them thank you when they left. It was refreshing to see an owner who takes such pride in his restaurant. Nice outdoor patio. The interior of the restaurant was very pretty. Great atmosphere all the way around. Great prices and fantastic menu with lots of options. We will be definitely be back.
Only one complaint (not really) the Watermelon Salad is to die for but so large we split it 3 ways! Someday Ill resist the wonderful eclectic menu and just have the salad...maybe 😂. Service as always, excellent! Ambiance special for Santa Clarita because it was adult! So glad this restaurant made it through Covid.
We had our company Christmas party here, and we all had a wonderful time. The staff was very attentive, as well as the manager. The food was amazing! Wonderful flavors, and tons of options. I sampled all of the deserts, and was not disappointed. We will come back for a future dinner date!
Since opening up fully after covid they get way too full and food becomes rushed and its a real shame . When this place is calm and able to make your food correctly its the best place in Santa Clarita but when its off it honestly drops hard would like too see less seating on the weekend and more care taken for the preparation
The place has good food. Unfortunately, the management is arrogant and unorganized. Don’t think your reservation is guaranteed. They are not good at keeping track of reservations made. No customer loyalty. It’s all about filling the place with customers and ignoring customer service. The area really needs another like kind restaurant to help them become more professional and customer oriented
Just went there foe Valentines day dinner. The promotion said that for every two 3-course meal, they will give a complimentary bottle of California wine. After we ordered, we were told that they are no longer honoring that ppromotion. The waiters and servers were really nice but the owner is taking advantage of Valentines day to practice the old bait and switch. Very disappointed.
Very nice restaurant. The noise level was low enough to enjoy conversation yet still hear the young musician playing keyboard jazz in the bar area. As of 12/2019 he plays every Friday, I believe. Everyones meal was great, many of us took home half for the next day, so portions were ample. Manager/Owner stopped by table to check on things. 5 ⭐
NEVER GOING BACK. Very disappointed in this place and will not return. Called on 1/30 at 3:52 and made a reservation for Valentines Day. I called again today to confirm if it was exactly at 6pm or later. I was told that they did not have my reservation and would not even discuss how they could resolve the problem. I understand they are fully booked which is why I planned ahead and made a reservation. The person I spoke with today offered no recourse and the manager refused to come to the telephone. I could hear an older gentleman with a heavy accent telling her that he did not want to talk to me and to just tell me that he is busy and they cannot give us a table tonight. When I let her know what I heard she said it was just another employee helping her and not the manager or owner.I understand that mistakes can happen, but they made absolutely no effort to resolve this one and the manager flat out refused to even discuss it with me.
Its difficult to be a great restaurant during Newsoms lockdown, but Olive Terrace pulled it off by providing outstanding service and meals, along with an inviting venue under the tent. Yes, its a bit pricey, but it does offer an upscale clientele aura and is adult focused. Between this and Spumoni, best places in Santa Clarita.
We arrived at 9:27PM, promptly sat down and made our order. Place is by all measures empty. 10:20PM our server comes and tells us she doesn’t know what happened but that our food would still take 10 minutes to come. Bottom line: 10:35 (35 minutes after closing time) our food arrives. We ended up waiting ONE hour for our order. Staff was nice and all, but it’s amateur hour over here.Edit: changed to 2 stars because the food tasted very good. But the waiting time really killed it for me.Edit 2: Changing to 3 stars because they gave us free desert. Nothing like food to amend a broken heart. Plus the food was in fact very good, but the excessive waiting time is still a problem.
I celebrated my nomination last night in this great restaurant. happy to tell that we enjoyed a astonishing evening and the restaurant was definitely one of the reasons for this strong gathering. The team collaborated in a gorgeous way, the meals were great and my friends were extremely joyful. We shall absolutely return for more celebrations. thanks very much.
Our groups first courses, soup and salad, came relatively quickly, but then the meals took forever to arrive. The food was hit or miss. Some delicious dishes, others were actually shockingly bad. Think cafeteria quality. The server was attentive and very professional, but the cook on duty that night had a bad, uncooperative attitude and the poor thing was forced to relay his messages to the table. Our (very nice) server ended up going to her manager. Magically, the cook suddenly could make our typical, simple requests happen after the manager got involved. So, he got that part of the meal right but other parts wrong. One dish was sent back and taken off the bill. The menu here is ambitious. While that is a good thing, this menu? Perhaps even too much so. Im not sure what chili has to do with Mediterranean food, but there you go. Great selection of wines. The vibe/ambiance is kind of odd. Think 90s, but with some really off-the-wall artwork that is too large in scale for the walls they adorn. Also, the meal seemed pricey to me, for the kind of establishment this is - a restaurant in a shopping center in Santa Clarita. The place was tidy and clean, but appeared understaffed. It took quite a while for anyone to notice us at the front desk when we arrived.Ill give it an extra star for the server and the dishes they did get right. Still would not eat here again.
Incredible wine selection, so beautifully decorated, knowledgeable wait staff, food was good with a wide variety of cultures, entertainment was really good, just couldnt it it well on the patio. Outside patio at this time of year was too drafty without the heaters but too hot with them on. But staff didnt mind when we asked to have them on or off to stay comfortable. Overall, I would be back.
Came here with my friends for the very first time. I picked this place because of the ratings. I give this place a 1 star,Customer service was TERRIBLE. I understood it was a busy dinner night, but I was not greeted with a hello at all. I stood there for a good 10 mins until I was noticed. I would’ve have been fine with a hello, we’ll be right with you. But none of that. Felt like everyone that worked there had attitude, and you can just feel the vibe of feeling unwelcome. Otherwise food was delicious, but I would never come back to this place or recommend it to anyone if you don’t fit in.
This past weekend, we attended a graduation party with apps 30 people. The service couldnt have been more attentive. I loved the skirt steak, although I recommend ordering it one notch rarer, as one of the mediums came up more on the well done side. But everyone else loved their food as well.
On 6/3/18 we celebrated our daughters Associate Degree graduation. Thank you to Juan the waiter and Assistant waiter who carried the cake for me, you made our event a memorable . Your professionalism and impeccable and genuine customer service was off the chart. The ambiance and the private room was beautifully set up. I personally I feel the Norwegian Salmon dish is worth ten stars. The added fruits to our cake gave a special presentation. May you continue to prosper in what you know best for your customers.
I was heading to LA to catch a flight and decided to try this restaurant based on its rating. I made this mistake and ordered fish & chips in this Mediterranean place! It was over-fried and very salty! Informed the waitress about this and she said that she can try it again but I didnt have time to wait. instead, I expected to get a major discount but I was charged in full..
I went here with my husband and three children ages 13, 7 and 2. Every bite was amazing from the bread to the artichoke spinach dip to the butternut squash ravioli. The service was fantastic, they were very prompt with anything we asked for. The restaurant itself was very clean and had a relaxing vibe. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes high quality food for a fair price.
Our first visit for a quick lunch. The gentleman warmly greeted the group waiting behind us then seated us. We waited & waited & waited. Finally a serving assistant brought us some bread & water. We explained that we needed to be finished in 45 minutes so he went to get a server. We waited... We noticed that the group that had been behind us was receiving their order. We waited... When the server came for our order he said the sandwich we ordered was very quick. It wasnt & as good as it was we had to gobble & leave. We probably wont be back.
Food excellent, attentive service. We were a little upset when we got home to discover the server didnt box up all the leftovers. My friend is single, and was looking forward to the remaining half of her lamb and rice for dinner, only to discover she got less than half her rice and only one of her lamb pieces. So you might want to ask for a container and box it up yourself.
We love the food at Olive Terrace and the very friendly staff. If youre looking for great food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere then you must go to Olive Terrace. We highly recommend sitting on the beautiful patio to enjoy the live music. The bartender Johnathan makes the best drinks in the valley, especially his homemade spicy bloody Mary and he always served his drinks with a smile.
We celebrated our 22 year anniversary at Olive Terrace and had a very enjoyable meal. We also have had family get to gathers at Olive Terrace and always enjoyed ourselves. They have a semi-private room which is great when you have a large family gathering and everyone wants to sit together. It is one of our familys most popular restaurants. The menu offers a sufficient variety for just about any type of food you could ask for. Additionally, the service is always outstanding!
Fully organic and the staff are amazing you can come in and eat it have it delivered by door dash and you can even pick up and take out. Such an amazing place.Great weight loss program and detox. Ok i drove out here to try this place out. To be honest i thought it would be really great
I have been coming here for years and tonight I am beyond disappointed with the service and food.Found noodles in the pesto sauce, buns extremely hard, salad lacking in flavor and ingredients.I had to ask other wait staff to order a beverage and watched bartender (not Jonathan) texting when he should have been attending to customers requests.Drinks took forever to receive. Dirty dishes stayed on our table unattended. Not a good experience tonight.
We were there for a birthday party the owner greeted us the saddest and was very nice the restaurant is beautiful inside we had live music the whole time we were there which was superb the food was amazing weve had the kabobs and chicken marsala and short ribs and chicken piccata and stroganoff and every plate was beautiful lots of food we had wine we had the bread pudding and it was the best bread pudding Ive ever eaten in my life we will be back our waiter Juan was very attentive helpful and we enjoyed him thoroughly he had a good sense of humor to. I highly recommend this restaurant but make a reservation it isnt huge part of it is outside and part of its inside has a large bar so you do need reservations especially in the top evening hours and weekends. The birthday we had turned out perfect.
Olive Terrace has changed - and for the better. I had lunch there today with 2 other women and we dined and talked for 2 hours; it was memorable. We were seated in the left front corner of the main room, giving 2 of us a view of the whole room, with its sparkling, but quiet, atmosphere. Other diners were at tables here and there throughout the room. From where we were seated, we could see there were sports on TVs in the bar area, but they were too far away to actually watch.Let me start with dessert. We order the GREEK CLOVER HONEY BAKLAVA and the PINEAPPLE COCONUT GELATO with multiple spoons and forks (for sharing). Everyone thought the gelato was fabulous as was the baklava, which was served hot and with an abundance of choices, all interesting.Lunch was ORIENTAL HONEY ROASTED CHICKEN - definitely worth having again, and there was enough to take some home; THE BISTRO CHOPPED - excellent and both had such an impressive presentation; and SPRING CUCUMBER GAZPACHO, a cold type of soup (since parts of Spain are so hot that no one would eat hot soup) with all the ingredients pureed together. The service was what you, or anyone, would want - someone always around for anything we requested. The table was cleared promptly, but not aggressively, and there was no hint of a problem that we were talking on and on.We felt refreshed and fed, from the conversation, and the good food, and the atmosphere.
Six of us came here for dinner right after we landed in CA. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly, since they were going to close in 30 minutes after we arrived. After looking at the Menu, we realized that this place has Mediterranean and American food. We ordered the Chicken Chipotle, Cup of Clam Chowder, Spinach and Chicken Waldorf, and Nimche’s Shrimp and Quiche accompanied by Beer, Merlot and Chardonnay. Every single dish was delicious. The Salad greens were fresh, the Pasta was al dente, and the seasonings were perfect. The Wine was all served at perfect temperatures and the water glasses were always filled. The vibe was friendly, the servers were all professional, and there was live music on the night that we visited. The décor and ambiance made the casual place appear like fine dining. Loved all the festive lights outside. I have no hesitation in recommending this place, and will absolutely return on our next visit to this coast.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. i was looking for a nice place in the area to take my friend for bottomless mimosas. great service, drinks were great, food was good and atmosphere was lovely. it was even decorated super christmassy and my friend loved it. good choice in santa clarita.

Olive Terrace is simply spectacular! From the wine to the lamb, every dish was perfectly executed. While youre waiting, the staff (Audra to name my own) is wonderful and attentive, taking special care to make themselves available at your convenience. The owner came out to greet and conversate, making the meal even more so inviting. Their classy choice in music is relaxing as well. If recommend this to any and all who are in the vicinity.
A so-so place were the waiters seem to look for inspiration at Downton Abbey. No doubt the patrons might think they are paying for something special but this is mediocre at best. I have tried it several times for business lunches and just a few times I found the food a little bit better than just OK. Most of the time is a bunch of stuff put together.
Very nice, intimate restaurant serving a fine selection of food and beverages. Has a full bar and quiet entertainment (probably weekends). Food is excellent, service is attentive, prices are not cheap but fair for the level of the experience. You wont be disappointed.
A.....MAZ....ING!! Service was 5 star, food was five star, the ONLY downside is the noise level, but all in all, i highly recommend the place! We split the chopped salad, had the linguine and clams and linhuine and asparagus and sun dried tomatoes, rice pudding and cheesecake and a bottle of the canyon road and everything was amazing!!
Love the wonderful mediteranean flavors and delicious cocktails. The Abadani mahi mahi was amazing, bursting with aromatics and flavors of tamarind, saffron, and fenugreek. The skirt steak was perfectly cooked, super tender with deliciously fresh chimichurri and the creamy polenta hit the spot.Their Old Fashioned is a must have!
Olive terrace!!! BEST FOOD IN TOWN !! Great atmosphere to !! I would go here over any restaurants !! over Cheese cake factory , they have horrible customer service cheese cake factory!! and wait a hours before you get your food !! THE FOOD IS VERY GOOD!! At OLIVE TERRACE!! Beat other restaurants!! LOVE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Too !
Enjoying a wonderfully prepared braised lambshank in the most perfect sauce. Tasteful and sweet but savory. Rice lite and fluffy. Perfect with the ragu type sauce and the tender lamb meat. The bread crustinie with the 3 different dipping one being a tapanode , olive oil and balsamic vinegar, butter of course. Great wine list.Nancy playing on the piano and singing all your requests. Love this place ! Second time here. Consistently great food, atmosphere, service and entertainment of high caliber.
Great little adult restaurant with an amazing drink menu. For dinner I suggest the Perisian chicken kabob. Add a sixth star if you have James as your waiter.Update: We keep coming back. Lasagna, Beef Stroganoff, Sea Bass, Penne Bolognaise... I havent ordered the same thing twice and everything has been amazing.
First the service was great !As far as the food it was good, a little too oily of me. One thing that really not in place was using a bacon into a minestrone soup - the whole point of a minestrone soup is vegetables only !I would come back again just make sure of the ingredients...
Terrible service! Hardly busy no excuses.Food was overpriced and not tasteful .Manager walks around and doesnt do much when we complained about our service. We were ignored for 15 minutes and I wanted to take our party to Bucca or Macarroni Grill.Give them credit for outside decor but for food go elsewhere !
READ THE FOLLOWING!!! :(We went to celebrate my ninos wedding to congratulate them and the food was good not like a wow and they wanted to charge us $2.50 just for a slice of cake so we asked them can we cut it ourselves and they said no we will give you the cake when your leaving and they just wanted us to not cut the cake and we just left with out the cake because there was no point of them charging us.

2022-02-19Superb meal in an upscale atmosphere with interesting decor and knowledgeable wait staff. I rarely leave a restaurant thinking that every aspect of the meal was just about perfect. This restaurant is an exception. Food had excellent flavor and was well presented. Our waiter was well versed in the menu and what could be prepared for us.The New England clam chowder was served in a freshly toasted sourdough bowl. It had lots of flavor, clams, potatoes, celery and spice. The saffron chicken with dill Lima basmati rice was a big hit. A good balance of spice and flavor. For vegetarian options Spaghetti squash also a good choice. Lots of flavor here too. Butternut squash soup was some of best we have tasted. The other couple liked the lamb and lasagna equally as well. Be prepared to spend time reviewing the menu. Very extensive.Prices were a bit high but considering the high quality of the food and the way it was presented I feel it is worth the price. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. We made reservations and glad we did. It was quite busy.

2022-07-10What a great night and dining experience we had last night. We came here with two adults and 2 children who are 13. Parking was super easy and making a reservation was equally as easy. They offer in-door and out door dining, we sat outside and it was the perfect night. They have a gentleman who plays guitar outside and has a great voice, our waitress could not be any kinder, knowledgeable and just a happy person, so nice to see.We ordered the burrata, which came with tomatoes, grilled peaches and a small dollop of pesto, insanely good! We also ordered a charcuterie board which had dried figs, 4 cheeses, meats, olives, bread and cranberries. The entrees we ordered were the pasta with meat sauce, beef stroganoff and my personal favorite, chicken piccata.I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for solid good food in a great atmosphere.

2021-11-07Amazing food and service! The food was very tasty. The Linguine Garlic pasta was my favorite. The ambiance at this place is very relaxing and laid back. Servers were top notch and patient answering questions we had for the menu.

2021-11-14Was with a large group. The service was excellent and the food arrived speedily. All of the dishes that myself and my group tasted were delicious. The restaurant even accommodated the adjustments that we wanted to make to the menu. That staff are to be commended for their professionalism. I will likely eat there in the future!

2022-04-21Everything was delicious 😋 bread was served warm & scrumptious.I ordered the Shrimp Scampi which was a bit of a small portion.Others in my group ordered the lasagna, Paella, and Lamb Kabobs, all 3 generously portioned. We had called ahead to make a reservation but when we arrived we were not booked. We had come from spending the day at Six Flags so we were a tad underdressed, they are a bit of a pinky up type of place. Service was just okay considering the place was empty when we arrived.

2022-05-07Do not sleep on this spot!! This hidden gem has great food!! My onion soup was so dang good! We liked it so much we went back for a second night in one week. They do charge $1.00 for water because they filter their own water, so if you don’t want that you will need to let them know. This is a pricey restaurant (we spent well over $100 each time) but worth it. Fresh flavorful food! Our friends introduced us and we will be back!GET THE ONION SOUP!

2022-05-21First time eating at OTB&G: They are very attentive, making sure u have or get what u need while staying as their guest. They were able to serve us our orders, guest of 7, in a very timely manner. Everyone was happy with his or her order. I ordered Salmon but being my first time there, I was worried it would not b cooked right; it was cooked perfect and I enjoyed every byte! The food prices arent bad at all. If u can find a place like this one that knows how to cook delicious food, then the price shouldnt really matter. For a guest of 7, depending on what each person orders expect to pay $200-$400 for the bill. Looking forward to going back. Thank u OTB&G for a great first-time experience!

2022-05-09We have dined at Olive Terrace multiple times in the past and have loved it. Great food, great service. Unfortunately today changed my opinion. I made reservations for 7pm on Mothers Day a week in advance and was told when we arrived on time to the restaurant that it would be almost another hour before we were even seated. I understand that it’s a busy day but that is completely unacceptable. We ended up having to leave prior to being seated since we had two children in our party and it was already late enough. Why even take reservations past a certain time if the kitchen was going to be overwhelmed. Luckily we found a restaurant in Newhall that was able to salvage Mother’s Day for my wife and sister in law. Extremely disappointed.
