We recently checked this venue out. They have a lot of venue options on site and are still growing. The buildings are gorgeous and they offer a lot of options and packages. This would be the perfect place for a wedding or any important event. Robert was SUPER helpful and even gave us advise on how to plan our wedding event. We have had NOORs catering before and the food is amazing. This was a great experience and the most professional/helpful venue we came across! Thank you Robert!
The bar staff is the only reason this place got any stars. They were amazing, attentive, and did a fantastic job.The venue and bathroom were extremely clean.The problem was the food and wait staff. They could have cared less about people there and the food was extremely dry. I ended up not eating any of my food because the chicken was extremely hard to cut into. It was all over cooked and was luke warm.
I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! From start to finish, Noor made our wedding dreams come true. Bridget Ann and Miranda are amazing at what they do. They are prompt, knowledgeable and beyond helpful. Lucy (wife of the party) was the most amazing day of coordinator, too!!!We got married in the terrace and had our reception in the Ella ballroom last weekend. The venue is breathtaking. The service is spectacular. My guests said it was the best wedding food they have every had. The bartenders made amazing drinks and people rarely had to wait. The night started and ended perfectly, I am beyond happy with my experience.If you are looking for a wedding venue in the LA area, this is it. No need to look further. You wont regret it!!!!
My husband and I were married at NOOR in April 2019, and the experience was wonderful. The day of was incredible, and went off without a hitch. The staff was anticipatory and responsive, the food was excellent, and the venue was beautiful. It was absolutely beyond anything I had envisioned.Beyond that, Miranda and Bridgett Ann, along with many others made the planning process easy and enjoyable. They were responsive, flexible, and always professional, and went out of their way to accommodate any and all requests.I cannot recommend NOOR enough!
What a lovely venue. We attended our best friends wedding here and we enjoyed the time of our lives! The ceremony was beautiful and comfy chairs with much cushion. The restrooms stalls were big and beautiful. The bar was big enough and the food was delicious! The staffing made sure everything was going swimming at all times.
We had our wedding party here last month (in the Sofia Ballroom) and it was fantastic! The bridge offered the opportunity to have a very loud, fun, and exciting entrance; the food was delicious; and we both cannot say enough about Miranda! She did an amazing job as our coordinator- super responsive, positive attitude, great with brainstorming ideas... she genuinely wanted us to have the best day possible!The pros: smoking area in outside balcony that is attached to the foyer (so people don’t have to go far to get some air), food was delicious and portions were generous, spacious bridal suite, old Hollywood vibe, parking lot is close enough where guests don’t have to walk too far in their heels and dresses, and, did I mention Miranda? She was the best part of Noor for us.The cons are: upcharges for minutiae, guests have to pay for parking ($6) the signage in the lot is sparse, the directions to the parking garage and to the banquet hall are different which can cause confusion, and the room is dim. Also there wasn’t an option to take home leftovers and there was SO MUCH food leftover. Miranda was kind enough to grab food for me and the groom, though, which we really appreciated.
We came here as one of wedding vendor this past weekend. Parking was kind of hectic, but we can found one space. Dont forget to bring the parking ticket for validation. Food was good and tasty. We had mushroom raviolis with yellow sauce (not sure) plus asparagus. It was delicious. Nice place for small to medium weddings. We were at the biggest room with Gatsby theme. Loved it. Recommended.
We held our wedding reception at NOOR a few weeks ago, and we are still getting rave reviews from out guests about the venue, the food and the service with a smile. The Sofia Ballroom is a gorgeous venue, the Middle Eastern Feast was delicious (as was the wine), and the NOOR team was amazing. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but everyone at NOOR made it so much easier with their guidance, organizational tools, suggestions, responsiveness and positive attitude. Once I arrived the day of our wedding, I was able to just relax and enjoy the experience as the NOOR team ensured everything went smoothly. I would recommend NOOR to any bride and groom, or anyone searching for a venue for a special event.
I love this banquet hall! I attended a wedding here last weekend and I had such a wonderful time. I normally don’t like a lot of banquet halls because most of the time the food and service isn’t that great, but that wasn’t the case here. The food was exceptional and the service they provided was beyond words. It’s also in such a good area in Pasadena. It has an outside balcony area and it is so spacious inside! Just a breath of fresh air!
Our whole experiment with noor was ok, the food were good (not the steaks though, their salmon was much better), the communication with the staff was fine.But there were few points I would like to mention:1. The $550 bridal suite is actually a living room plus a bathroom. They didn’t actually show me the suite til the rehearsal and we surprised to find out that they locked the bedroom of the apartment. So we can only use the living doom&bathroom of the ‘suite’ which is super tiny space.2. The stage of the ceremony was pretty small, I honestly have no idea about the size but it seems too small for me in person. The train of my gown was half draped over the stage during the ceremony.3. The fountain didn’t turn on during the ceremony while we specifically asked to turn on the fountain. And what made me even more upset was the fountain turned on after our ceremony! It was so awkward and weird.4. They said we need to pay a $250 fee if we want to make any changes after our final meeting. But when we tell them we would like to reduce fee guests and we even would like to pay the fee, they told us they couldn’t make any changes. The only thing they could do was give us some drink

I plan dozens of events a year, from small business functions, to large charitable events, and even weddings. Its RARE to find a venue like Noor Ballroom. In my humble opinion, what makes Noor better than your average venue is not the absolutely delicious food, its not the amazingly beautiful venue, its not even the ridiculously reasonable prices. No, all those things are icing on the cake, but what makes this particular venue stand out in a sea of places with tasty food, ambience, and comparable prices is the SERVICE.I threw a big charitable Halloween Ball at the Ella Ballroom last night for 200 guests. Robert Shahnazarian was a dream to work with from start to finish. He made the process so simple, from our first phone call, to the venue walk-though, to the menu planning, and all the way through leading up to the day of the event. He listened to my needs, worked within my budget, followed up promptly, gave me great insight and ideas to enhance our event, and he did everything effortlessly and efficiently. He knows exactly what hes doing, and that takes away a lot of the stress of planning a large event.On the day of the event, the on-site manager did a great job seeing to our needs, the staff were professional and efficient, and they rolled with all of the punches (helped us with a stand for our step & repeat banner when our stand wasnt the right type, moved furniture around to accommodate the needs of our vendor sponsors, did a great job passing the appetizers and tending the bar, etc.) Robert even dropped in to say hello and make sure everything was running smoothly, and then sent me a follow-up email in the morning to ensure that I was happy with how everything came together.I would recommend this venue without a shadow of a doubt. I will look to them for future venue needs, and will refer them to friends, clients, and family. They have my full stamp of approval. THANK YOU for helping to make my event a successful one!
The Noor was incredible. I have been planning events at my college for three years now and by far, in my opinion as well as the students, the Noor was the best venue we have ever been to. We used the Ella Ball Room for our spring social. There were about 200 people who attended and it was packed, but for our occasion it was perfect! Everyone was dancing and we barely had time to test out the delicious food. However, all the food was wonderful! We ordered appetizers and dessert. The dessert bar was set up in the corner, and the appetizers were carried around on trays.In regards to service, it was top notch. Robert was so willing to help me with my budget, and any other requests that I had. He was also very excited about all the Noor had to offer to us. Although I am young, he still treated me very professionally. The coordinator that was in charge the night of our event was also very helpful and friendly. I did not have contact with one unfriendly staff member. They took care of everything and I felt like so at ease about the event. One of our students spilled water all over the floor and the staff was quickly on top of it.I would recommend this venue to anyone! It was a wonderful experience! Thanks to the Noor venue and staff I feel that my final event for the students was a hit! Thanks you so much!
One word, PERFECT!!We had our Wedding at Noors Ella Ballroom on 10/27/2012 and could not have been more pleased with how everything went.We started off with a good experience planning our wedding with Nora. Nora was on top of everything right from the beginning. Phone calls, e-mails and even texts were returned promptly and kindly. Questions were never left unanswered, and she did a fantastic job of putting a stressed brides mind at ease. She made sure that our vision was truly realized and assured us that all our requests could be accommodated (and they were). Nora was an absolute pleasure and pulled off the wedding of our dreams. What more could you ask for?The day of the wedding the venue was absolutely stunning! Everything is clean and well thought out. The wait staff was so sweet and accommodating. Food exceeded expectations on every level from appetizers, to the choice of salmon, beef, or chicken for the entree, all the way to the Viennese table for dessert. Our bartender was social yet quick and made great drinks.All night long our guests couldnt stop raving about how perfectly everything was executed (and we had some guests that would let us know if something wasnt right lol.)I would recommend this venue to anyone and would absolutely consider having another event at Noor. Thank you to all the staff for being exceptional, and especially thank you Nora!
Paige, the event manager completely ruined my wedding night for me and my family. One example is how she disrespected my mom and aunt when we were running behind schedule and it was getting close to the end time of the event. I dont know how any of that was their fault and why she needed to be rude about it. She approached me as it was getting close to 1am and asked if I wanted to extend the time to 130am and I gave her the okay. The credit card we put on file months before no longer worked because it was lost and we replaced it with another, and with a million things to do before the wedding I forgot to replace the one I had on file with the new card. So as soon as it declined she approached my mom and in front of our guests tells her that the credit card declined, and to get her new card right away. My mom was so embarrassed in front of our guests as anyone would be, but clearly the only thing on Paiges mind was making sure she got the extra $500 for the half hour at that very moment. My mom kindly asked her if she could give her the new card after the wedding was over because her purse was in the Noor bridal suite which is further away from the venue. It would have been inconvenient for her to leave the venue to get her credit card especially with a half hour left. But Paige threw a tantrum, and my coordinator who also thought she was extremely rude that night, had to calm her down and asked her to wait until the wedding was over. This would have been the sensible thing to do than to bother the brides mother. My poor mom was really shocked by how she was treated.If I could go back i would have chosen a different venue for my wedding. For what you end up paying, just pay a couple thousand more and have your wedding at the Hilton or somewhere nicer that actually values good customer service. Its really not worth it at all, especially with the disrespect youll likely have to deal with like we did on our wedding night.
This was a gorgeous venue! Menu was amazing! 1st dessert AND 2nd dessert? Wow!! I have never been to such a glamorous baby shower!!!
I was the day of coordinator for a wedding and the staff was fantastic to work with. A huge shout out to Miranda and Amin! Amin even graciously offered to bring the brides reception dress to the nearby HYATT. Miranda was also very flexible and easy to work with. The wedding went smoothly! Great location and excellent staff.
I recently had my wedding here (Oct 9, 2016) and I couldnt have been more pleased with my husband and Is decision to have our celebration here. The staff and especially the owner were so good at working with us and our budget. They literally answered every ridiculous question we had within less than 24 hours. Day of... the event couldnt have gone smoother. My guests all had incredible things to say about the servers, the bar staff, and just the venue as a whole and how beautiful and unique it was. I highly recommend!!!!!!!
We had our cousins luncheon at Noor 2 weeks ago. Miranda, our coordinator, was the best from the beginning to the end of our event. The staff was so friendly and professional, the food was delicious! I knew I wanted this venue for my wedding when I came for the tour. If youre looking for a venue that you wont need to spend so much on decoration, this is the place. It such a beautiful and elegant venue. Its a great place for having both the ceremony & reception. The food was a whole lot better than I expected it to be and service was outstanding. We received so many compliments on our choice of venue.
My wife and I had our wedding at Noor on June 10th and it was absolutely wonderful! We worked with Amin throughout the planning and setup and he was so courteous and friendly and easy to work with. We had a million changes as we worked out our budget and what we wanted and he handled each and every one promptly and patiently. And we had a million changes, because Noor offers so much! Their food is all delicious and they offer so many fun additions to make your event special.We went with a plated dinner: chicken and mushroom ravioli (the ravioli is SO GOOD) or filet mignon and miso salmon, a dessert bar (the little pastries were beautiful and yum!), a mashed potato bar (I didnt get to try because I was too full, but the guests loved it and it was fun!) and a full open bar with upgraded beers (we asked if we could add different beers and they helpfully just asked which ones and made it happen) and a specialty drink (just gave the recipe and again, they made it happen).Noor is the place to book with if you want stellar service and delicious food. They are amazing! Big big thanks again to Amin for being so great!
Outstanding! Best of the best. We held our company Christmas party there last year and were 100% satisfied. This year we are holding our company party there again. AND my partner and I bought tickets for the Rose Parade brunch. So excited about that! I wouldnt think about holding an event anywhere other than Noor.
My husband and I got married at NOOR (sofia ballroom) over the weekend and it was incredible, despite the hectic planning, I secretly wish we can relive the day one more time.We fell in love with NOOR the minute we walked in and met with Bridget Ann. She was so kind and sweet and we were convinced immediately that NOOR would make our wedding dreams come true.Miranda, our day of coordinator, and Loriann and Vivian From Wifeofthe Party were all absolutely amazing. miranda answered all my emails and questions in a timely manner.And Loriann and Vivian took care of soo much day-of that if anything went wrong that day, I definitely never heard about it.The decorations and set up was amazing, and everything was just perfect!Thank you NOOR!!!
Please book a venue with better standards and fair policies. NOOR has gypped its customers during COVID 19 pandemic. This owner has unfair and unrealistic policies, offering to rebook weddings that are cancelled during COVID, for up to a year. How do we even know if this is possible in the next 5 months? Everyones lives and companies have been impacted by COVID , and a vast majority of travel and event companies have changed their policies to refund their customers. Not NOOR, theyre keeping thousands of their customers dollars in limbo by not refunding them, NOR having a real Plan on reopening to provide services. Its very distasteful and devastating to customers who have invested THOUSANDS of their hard earned dollars for their fairytale wedding, which has now turned into a NIGHTMARE thanks to NOOR and COVID!
Planning a wedding can be a daunting task, but with the right team it can actually be a rather enjoyable experience. Robert and Maggie, the owners, of Noor took such great care of my husband and I that I felt like I was among family. They were extremely accommodating and were always super responsive.After checking out a number of different venues in the Pasadena area, I fell in love with Noors Sophia Ballroom (the Ella Ballroom is also beautiful but better suited for smaller events). Not only did it offer the elegant and modern style that I was looking for, but their prices were excellent, not to mention ALL INCLUSIVE! Yes, you heard that right! When you get your invoice you arent going to find surprise fees or service charges, everything is already calculated directly into the price they show you from the beginning.Now onto the important stuff. My husband and I opted for a full service OPEN BAR for the entire night! It was a great choice for us and our guests and Noor did an excellent job of keeping the drinks flowing and our guests happy. Now the second most important thing of the evening, the food. I love that we were able to request modifications during our tasting and that they were actually implemented for our wedding. Some of the highlights from our reception included the Chicken and Waffles, Coconut Shrimp, and Caprese Skewers (passed hordeuvres). We also served Boneless Ribeye, Grilled Salmon and Mushroom Raviolis as our entrees (the raviolis are a must try). If you do not want a plated dinner, they also have a myriad of other choices for you to choose from. As well as AV packages and anything else you might want to include for your wedding (like a photobooth).The staff was always super friendly and helpful (even when our guests were getting kind of rowdy). I want to give a big thank you to their banquet manager Amin. He worked flawlessly with my other vendors and helped ensure that my special day went off without a hitch. I could not have asked for a better team and support group throughout this entire process. I would highly recommend hosting your next event here!

I want to take a moment to commend Robert (owner) for running such a wonderful place of business full of individuals who truly care about every event that takes place at their venue. My sisters wedding was at Noor this past Friday (4/4) and our experience at Noor was fantastic! From Barbara to the entire wait staff and kitchen, the team was phenomenal and we could not have asked for anything more from anyone of them on Friday. Everyone was on point the entire night!Especially Amin…he was amazing to work with! His willingness and flexibility to meet our needs and last minute issues was incredible. He truly made Friday night unforgettable for Maral and Kahlen, and helped me remain at ease throughout the evening knowing that I had him and a reliable team to fall back on!I have worked with many wedding venues and I can say with all honesty that this was the best experience I have had. Great job on maintaining such quality during what tends to be rather stressful events!Thanks again and I hope to be able to celebrate many more events with your team!
It’s been about a week since we had our wedding (ceremony, and reception) at Noor and we could not be happier with our entire experience. From the very beginning at our venue tour with Robert (owner), to the several days after our wedding with our amazing day of event coordinator/event manager, Amin. At the first visit with Robert, he was so easy going, upfront, and honest about the venue services and costs. We did not feel pressured to commit that day or add on every extra add-on or cost for our wedding. Later, for our first meeting with Noor we felt very impressed with Amin’s friendliness and professionalism. He answered all of questions at the meeting and responded to questions via email, phone, and text in a timely manner.During the final meeting Amin was very cordial to our videographer, who joined us to get a lay of the land. This meeting, Amin guided us through our wedding timeline and answered our videographer’s questions; his attention to detail with certain needs was perfect. He even asked us a few things about our timeline that we had not even thought about.This paragraph is a shout out to the main man with the plan behind the scenes. Amin absolutely slammed this thing out of the park, what more can you ask for out of this guy. Throughout the whole process he truly cared about our big day, and it was evident in all the detail. This would not have been possible without the support of an awesome, experienced, and caring day of coordinator. He even showed us the ballroom for approval of the setup before guests entered form the foyer after cocktail hour. That was unexpected to view our wedding reception prior and we were grateful for the considerate gesture. Also, poor Amin even gracefully handled answering demanding questions from one of our mothers before the wedding and dealt with a drunk headstrong godmother during the wedding.We received so many compliments about the delicious duet plate; miso salmon and filet mignon. Relatives who never ate fish, ate the salmon and my mother who hardly eats red meat devoured her filet mignon. So, hats off to the chefs for the amazingly delicious meal, and thank you.After the wedding, there was precious cargo left at Noor, and they were happy to safe guard our belongings until we were able to come pick them up 4 days later. This was so helpful because we did not have enough room the day of the wedding to pack everything into our car.In conclusion, if you have not figured out from this novel-sized review, we would 10/10 recommend Noor to anyone looking for a brilliantly assembled, memorable, enjoyable wedding!PS FYI we had 200 guests at our wedding and never did it feel crowded.
Beautiful place. Clean looking nothing flimsy. From the restrooms to the hall and the balcony the space was gorgeous. Staff on point bartenders are quick and friendly. Wait staff really good and attended to our needs, although our table was a drunk mess they handled us with care ☺😂

I am part of a nonprofit organization and we held our Mothers Day Luncheon in the Ella Ballroom. Everything from the venue tour to the actual event went flawlessly.To begin the process, Robert and I e-mailed back a forth a few times, just so I can have an idea of what exactly we could have for the budget we had for the event. He sent me the proposal and I quickly realized that theres no other place where we could get as much as we were getting for the money we were paying...and Ive done A LOT of research.A few of the ladies in the committee and I went for a site tour and immediately fell in love with the elegance, ambiance, and class of the space. We liked that we were able to totally customize the space with our linen colors (napkins and table cloths) and even the LED ambient lighting color!After booking the venue for our event, I bugged Robert several times with silly questions and he was always quick to get back to me. He was very accommodating to our requests and last minute changes.Fastforward to the day of the event......When we walked in to start setting up nearly an hour before our event, the venue already looked so beautiful with the linens and the lighting. The event managers were super helpful in assisting with our set up and answering all our questions.FOOD: We chose two passed hors doeuvres to be served during our cocktail hour and we could not stop eating them. They were truly exceptional. We had chicken satay with a sesame peanut sauce (yum!) and wild mushroom roulades with oven-dried tomato aioli (DROOOOL!). Our plated lunch consisted of a refreshing mixed green salad with a raspberry vinaigrette. The dressing was sooooo yummy and I liked that they didnt dress the salad before they brought it out. Everything was crisp and fresh.Our second course was a duet of chicken breast with a wild mushroom champagne cream sauce (THE SAUCE!!) and grilled salmon with a citrus beurre blanc. That salmon was some of the best salmon Ive ever had. The proteins were accompanied by herb roasted red potatoes and baby summer squash. The dessert. Im dreaming about their cheesecake. We opted to have several flavors of their cheesecake served family style. SO GOOOOOOD! The white chocolate salted caramel...oh my. I can eat a GIANT slice of that deliciousness. And the oreo....alksdjfl;aksdjf;laj.Everyone raved about the food and several people said that this was our best event in our 11 years of hosting this Mothers Day Luncheon. The AV equipment worked beautifully. We had a singer, a DJ, a powerpoint presentation, and a speaker. Everything in the ballroom was set-up to handle our needs perfectly.Every last detail was perfect. We had vendors attending our event so Noor set up tables with linens for them so everything would look uniform and beautiful. Our theme was Breakfast at Tiffanys so Robert set up the movie to play in the background of our event. Every lady that walked in was given a glass of champagne to start the event. Everything was just SO elegant and beautiful.The staff was extremely friendly. The waiters, waitresses, and the bartenders helped make our event really awesome. I personally thanked as many as I could before I left.I highly recommend having an event here. Everything was beautiful and the staff were amazing. I cant wait to host another event at Noor!
Very amazing event venue. Great service. $22,800 minimum for events. They offer a lot. They offer linens, built in lighting, outdoor and indoor space, nice food. They also have red carpet with customizable spotlights. Overall, great location
The most beautiful venue space split up into two banquet halls - Sofia and Ella (named after the owners daughters). The venue is able to convert a plain old mall courtyard into a magically draped space with full service catering, bar, and seats for any occasion. The entire team is professional and really cares about their clients.
Cool Environment. We were guests at an event hosted by this location and it was a cute place to host a party in downtown pasadena. Very inviting place!

I just went to an event hosted by KPCC radio and it was a great and very fun night! It was held in their outside terrace and it was a beautiful and intimate atmosphere, the food was great, and the staff seemed very friendly. Definitely a memorable night
No mask mandate. Wedding did not keep people apart. No idea if any one was vaccinated. Terrible! Were in the middle of a Pandemic!!!!!!
What a beautiful spot!! It would be great for receptions and business events. I cant say much about the food or anything... I got to the event I was attending 20 mins behind and it was all gone but the space was top notch!

SHE TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING AND ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS :) SHE WAS A DOLL! THE VENUE WAS GORGEOUS AND THE WAITERS WERE VERY VERY FRIENDLY. MY WHOLE WEDDING WAS PERFECT. Honest, easy-going, accommodating - a total Class Act!The beautiful Sofia and Ella Ballrooms (pictured) are the perfect venues for large or intimate events: weddings, fundraiser galas, corporate events, holiday parties, christening receptions, birthdays, proms, and more.Sofia seats up to 320 guests for seated banquets and 600 guests for a cocktail-style reception. Ella seats up to 120 for formal receptions with a dance floor and up to 250 guess for a cocktail-style reception.The venue is also conveniently located right downtown and around the corner to the City Hall. Perfect! If you want to feel taken care of, in a safe classy environment, this is the place for you! ❤️

2022-03-07Stunning place! One of the best venues in Los Angeles. What makes the place extra special are the people who run it. Robert and his team are kind, professional, honest, and accommodating. They will make you feel at home. Everything is impeccable. The decor, the ambiance, the vibe, the cleanliness. The venue is located conveniently in downtown Pasadena near City Hall. The sunset and views from the balcony are spectacular! A wonderful place to host any type of event - intimate or large, catered to all types of people, where you will feel safe, have fun and feel taken care of. I hear NOOR stands for light, illumination. 2021-11-18Had my wedding at NOOR ELLA in October 2021 with about 105 total guests a total cost of about $20k for the venue only which included food catering, room rental, chairs, tables, linens, open bar, and few other enhancements).I had 5 months to plan the whole wedding and my experience with the venue was positive: Anna was my event manager, very sweet, responsive, and accommodating. Ella room is sooo elegant and romantic, convenient guest parking and location, Excellent service and the food was delicious.NOOR offered a list of preferred vendors which I found helpful. I went with their preferred florist (Del Sol Flowers/ Narciso) who did an amazing job. note that the preferred vendors list doesnt however guarantee their availability so I ended up looking elsewhere for other vendorsI wished the stage in the room was removable because it was too small and limited how I could decorate it, also was not enough space to accommodate my ballgown!!!!!. luckily I had two dresses for my wedding, the other one was a mermaid dress that I changed into before the grand entrance.. on my wedding day, most things went by smoothly and as planned, minor issues came up and were handled promptly by the management.as an overall, I was happy with my experience.

2022-06-06This is the most beautiful space for a wedding or event. It is large enough to social distance your guest they have great service employees. You cant go wrong with this one. Even parking was only $6.00 with validation. Its perfect!!! My friends and family are still talking about it 3 weeks later they had such a good time.

2022-05-17Went for our cousins wedding, all the staff was on point and thank you guys for loaning us a safe place for our baby to change clothes and diapers. Food was alright, but that was the bride and grooms choice on what was served, so cant really dock them on that aspect. Beautiful venue nonetheless, we had a great time.

2021-10-14Kaelan, Robert, and the NOOR staff were very good to us!I had my debut (18th birthday for a Filipino girl) in January 2012 at the Ella ballroom (smaller ballroom) so when it came time to look for a wedding venue in Pasadena, of course, the Noor was on the contender list.Trevor, my now husband, and I did a tour of the Sofia (larger ballroom) ballroom in November 2018 (1 month after getting engaged) and it looked perfect! It was renovated from the time I had my debut in 2012 and Trevor got that “feeling” when he saw it in-person.We originally booked it for our wedding reception on 10/17/2020. Trevor and I had a church ceremony. When COVID-19 hit, the NOOR made it super easy to reschedule and postpone our wedding reception. We moved it to 10/09/2021 seamlessly.The Noor is your one-stop-shop of wedding venues. You have EVERYTHING you need plus gorgeous architecture. It was the wedding reception of my dreams.Thank you, Kaelan, Robert and all the Noor staff. I hope to work together again in the future!

2022-02-12The first thing we noticed about Noor is that Robert finds a way to say yes to all our dreams! My daughter, the creative bride, wanted a special space full of warmth and cheer. Noor made everything a terrific success! Robert gave us our own sweet hand holder, Kaylan, who made our lives so easy! Also, Noor worked so well with our wedding planner Nicole Harris at Dreams in Detail and together they found a way to create a fantasy ballroom beyond our wildest dreams!The food was spectacular and the service impeccable! We had over 200 guests and everyone got special attention. We were given the option to put and the appetizers and main courses at the table so people could help themselves. Top shelf alcohol adorned each table so, of course, our flowers by Lark Flowers were placed very high so they would show. Noor let Lark Flowers put a truss so the flowers all over the ballroom could cascade down in its beauty!We enjoyed lamb chops, the salmon, the best appetizers, the most delicious hors doeuvres and more!Security was subtle and so excellent that our high profile guests took off their sunglasses and had such a great time!I cannot think of one place in California that could have set the ambiance, elegance and superb comfort Noor is able to naturally create!We will always remember with delight the joy we had a Noor in Pasadena!

2020-09-18From the first email to adding one last song to the end of the night, Robert, Maria, Kenji and the whole Noor team were amazing. We visited the Sofia Ballroom probably about 20+ times and each time the team was so patient to answer every question Alex, our parents and myself had. And there were A LOT.We needed a large enough venue for 200+ guests: check. It needed to be mostly inside since February is unpredictable, but since it’s California we wanted some outdoor aspect: check.A large greenery accent wall, champagne tower and the most amazing bar: check check and check.The Noor staff had to deal with my 2020 wedding for over a year and a half. Kenji was my site coordinator and I could not have asked for a better person to help make all my wedding dreams come true. Every email and voicemail were answered in less than 24 hours and always ended with please let me know if you have any more questions. Countless parts of our wedding were changed all the way to just days before and he always found a solution to ease my panic. Thankful is an understatement for how I feel about Kenji. Every detail and even some surprises were were met with excitement. February 22,2020 was out favorite day.Robert is a food and wine enthusiast. Everyone knows as long as your guests stomachs are satisfied and thirst is quenched, your wedding is off to an amazing start. To stay in “budget” we booked with one of Noor’s several promotions they offer throughout the year. Chicken has a bad rep in the wedding world. Both chicken options, herb roasted chicken with mash potatoes and vegetables and portobello mushroom chicken with fingerling potatoes and vegetables, were not only served hot but were flavorful and large. Our vegetarian option was the portobello mushroom ravioli with vegetables and even the meat eaters wanted a piece of it.As a gift from Noor, Alex and I enjoyed filet mignon, prawns, mash potatoes and vegetables. YUM!4 super bartenders held down an open bar for 200+ adults, we had an adult only wedding, for 6 hours. After the countless food complements, the our guests were amazed how their drink order were memorized and never had to wait for their drinks. I am not lying when I say there were always 60+ people hovering the bar the whole time.Onto the party outside. Music was playing and cigars were enjoyed while guest enjoyed fresh air without getting soaked in the rain. Noor also allows outsource food venders for late night snacks, so our guests enjoyed made to order tacos and chilaquiles.We had the best vendors and most of them Noor never worked with. Each one of the vendors complimented Kenji on his diligence and organization.My only complaint of the night is that 6 hours was not enough. 12 hours wouldn’t have been. Noor hosted a night of family, friends, and the best fiesta this East Coast West Coast - Irish/ Mexican couple could have ever dreamt of.
