This place had an eclectic mix of items. All of it was used, some of it like the mens shoes were in fact too used and needed to be thrown away, but many other items of all varieties were in good condition. I personally found stuff to furnish my house, a tool for my bf, a changing pad and baby carrier for my daughter, and something for ever myself! The staff was helpful and kind and the prices were great. Definitely going to be shopping here more often
My experience there is typical wonderful. Today we purchased an electronic and we asked if we could return it. They said yes as long as we spoke to a manager. Brought the game home and it didnt work. We called and they said no returns under $100.00. They have a bunch of youth running the store that arent properly trained. I expect quality service, period. I do hope this will be resolved on Monday when a executive decision can be made. Until then One star review.
This place is awesome! Dont be afraid to ask for a deal on the larger items because 9 times out 10 theyll be happy to give you a deal. Not like some of the other thrift or vintage stores in the same area. They will also give you a deal if you can take the larger items home that day because even though they will hold it for you, they need the floor space more. Everyone Ive talked to that works or volunteers there are very polite and respectful.
I walked in to a very well arranged store. They were not very into their customers. They were all talking to each other doing some kind of work. Their looked like 6 or 7 employees. And the place was pretty dusty. The merchandise looked good, they have everything, something for everyone. It is in the Tower District. A part of Fresno I happen to love. They do have dressing rooms. Parking is pretty ruff, cuz of the small streets. They seem to be good there. Go on down and check it out for yourself.
They have a good selection of items, which is, of course, always changing with it being a thrift store. I do like that they have the Bag Sale where you can fill a paper bag full of apparel for $10-$12.What I dont like is that things are inconsistent among staff. Some of them are not very warm or welcoming. They need to work on manners and customer service skills.
The store was clean and well organized, except for childrens toys and clothes disaster area. There was an employee working to straighten it up. There werent enough carts so I had to carry my wiggly granddaughter around. I ended up only buying 2 things because it was just too hard to shop holding a toddler. Staff was so nice and helpful, I wish I could have stayed longer. Ill go back without the toddler next time.
I’m a thrift connoisseur and this place is one of the best in Fresno. The staff is friendly and attentive, the store is well laid out and organized, and the selection is pretty bomb. I forget when the Bag Sale is, but anything you can fit in a paper grocery bag is $5. Last sale, I got 36 t-shirts for $10. Boom.
Employees dont get proper breaks and store lacks management. Check furniture before you buy. I bought something infested with black widow eggs and black widows underit and if they dont check for that I bet they dont check for bed bugs either. Absolutely Disgusting. Only thing good about this place is their children section but you MUST check everything before buying. 👎👎👎
Everyone seems to love this store and I am one of the few who is not crazy about it. Since it is a thrift store and in the historic tower district its worth checking out. However, unlike other thrift stores in Fresno most of the clothes are stained, torn, or extremely damaged. The furniture is ok but Ive seen better at DAV. The book selection is stuck in 1970-80s science fiction or religious novels. The toy area is actually one of the best Ive seen in a thrift store with really good books, baby items, and dolls for kids. The workers are usually very nice, and like I said it is worth checking out. Just be mindful of the clothes you buy here.
Its your basic thrift store with lots of clothes and a variety of miscellaneous items. Some of the odd things seem to be a little over priced. Like today, I found a small (maybe 2 quarts or less) stock pot style pan without a lid, priced at $5.99...so I didnt get it. You can buy a new set of four various good sized stock pots with lids for $24 at Harbor Freight. So $6 seems like twice what a used lidless pot should be? Yet I bought a glass lid for my large skillet and Dutch oven for ¢75.
I dont like that they throw a bunch of random toys in a bag. For example, they put one good toy in with a bunch McDonalds toys and charge you 3.99. but you have to buy like 2 or 3 bags of stuff if you are looking for toys that go together. So then its not worth it. They should just put all the same toys in one bag and charge more per bag.
I have been coming to this wonderful store since they first opened on Fulton ave . approx 6+years ago .In my opinion its THE BEST thrift store in Fresno . Fantastic prices , great selection , and outstanding customer service .If you havent yet visited this store , my suggestion is please do so ... you wont be disappointed !
It was OK some of the things were a little more then l would have like to pay a little hi and when you go to some were like that and you pay like 12 or 14 $ for it that over what you should have to pay for it being in a place like Neighborhood but l do get a lot on the 50 cent rack

2022-02-02I love Thrifting and came out with sooooo many gems! Great prices, even better than Goodwill or Salvation Army. The only annoying thing is you can’t try on clothes (due to the pandemic and you also can’t return/exchange) so I had to just hope everything fit me.@TravelingWithAyd on ig #sayNOtoFastFashion

2021-06-07Neighborhood Thrift is a good place to shop for low prices, a nice selection, and great customer service. The store is clean, well stocked, and organized. Its easy to find useful items and fun treasures here. They always have a specific color tag on sale at half off the marked price. The color of the sale tag alternates with stock coming and going. They also have a 10% senior discount that is available every day. Today, I found dresses, tops, a selection of music CDs, Pyrex glass bowls, a hanging vase, some assorted home decor items for less than $25.00. The employees are friendly and helpful, which made shopping here a pleasant experience. I will be back again soon!
