Great store! I always find everything I need for my painting, knitting hobbies and decor. They got awesome self checkout registers, so the lines are faster now and it’s easy to get your points and use coupons.

Pretty decent selection and friendly staff, got a picture frame to replace one with broken glass, checked stock online first which also pointed me to the location in the store which was helpful. Got stuck in the elevator on the way down to parking and had to call fire department to get out, LAFD arrived quickly so kudos to them. Not the stores fault I suppose but colored the whole experience....not fond of the design of the retail center where Ms is located.

A worker walked into me and I almost lost my balance. One minute later she was speaking nicely to a younger customer. I call that discrimination. Lousy yarn selection. Walmart has cheaper and the same quality yarn. Its also very EXPENSIVE at Michaels. Advice, organize your yarn, train floor staff to be pleasant to ALL customers. I had a large gift certificate I could have spent there, but the yarn was not available and because of lousy customer service, I preferred not shopping online and picking it up there. Rude workers is very unappealing. Id prefer to go to a different location. I can see why many stores have closed down. Nicer to order online. The computer doesnt have nasty looks and someone running into you with their cart. Im handicap ped and I lose my balance easily.

It was good, Michael is at 3rd floor. You can park at the top as well if you do not want to walk up the stairs or escalater. The items inside are well organized and clean. The people there are helpful too.

They’re indirectly rude and their cashiers brains are misconstrued. (Also NOT DOCTORS!)Here it is; I crochet so I am always looking for something new (yarn). I walk in buy myself some $2.39 m&m’s and $6.00 naked pistachios (no shell). It takes a little longer than 30 minutes for my daughter in this case to pick out colors via text. I asked the cashier if I could eat the snacks while shopping and she said “yes” I proceeded to shop, then saw a afroAmerican store-rep pass me up so I stopped her for some critiquing of image of a crochet-shawl. She gave suggestions, followed by another rep trying to clear what I had picked out because she was “cleaning”. I stopped her from removing what I had already picked out and asked her to also critique what I had picked-out and critique the prior image viewed. Followed by the same afro-American from before pacing up and down the end-caps outside the isle where I was searching. (I have been to this store many times before and for you guessed it ...yarn) when finally my daughter texted that the color combo “looked great” I got in line again for the yarn, I scanned for more m&m’s or pistachios and the box full of m&m’s was gone and also no more pistachios. Hmmm, the first cashier that attentively sold me snacks gave me a weird look and soon after the same afro-American came to checkout (no line either) and her attitude was as if annoyed with me. Nonetheless, she helped me out and I was out the door. I am not sick and I do not have any signs of being sick. Some of those employees are playing doctor and that has to stop. I am not yours to analyze and or critique You’ll have to leave that business to a Doctors Office. Or lose clientele. Moving forward; lose the existence of the store. I won’t go back to that store ever again. I was willing to buy the candy at highway robbery prices but after all thatde-bag-garry scenario...I’m good!I live in Culver City and so I don’t have to buy out of the “los-angeles gestapo-type-swindlers.” Too-shay-and-away!

Theres no better store to go to for almost anything related to art, home decorating etc they have the best prices as well. Typically we get coupons via email however most of the supplies are already marked at a really good price. Some are up to 70%. Also every time you check out you get another coupon printed on your receipt (40% sometimes 60% to use on one item) .The fact that some are even $1 -$3 its just impossible walking out without grabbing over 20 items at time. Store is super clean, organized and they are always available to assist on the floor. Check it out FALL season decorations are already here (Id say Halloween is ready for you to).Definitely the best place to bring your little ones as they have so many things for kids as well including art classes.Must mention the fact that theres plenty parking inside the mall structure 3 floors) after all this is Japan Town LA very popular spot with great Asian restaurants all around so once youre exhausted from shopping you can enjoy a nice relaxing break at restaurant :)

The store is having an after Christmas sale, so the place is kind of busy. But the cashiers line moved very fast. Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance and cashier area.

The store is often under supplied and the parking situation is an absolute disaster. The amount of massive suvs that park in compact or even two spots is laughable. Only come here on off hours

Michaels, 11260 West Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90064I had a picture frame that was framed by one of Michaels other locations a long time ago, however, I had a problem with the glass and wooden frame and so I wrote them plenty of letters and Thankfully, I was invited to come back to my local Michaels store in order to get taken care of properly and right! In My Case: I had to make two (2) trips which was Not Their Fault! The first time that I visited them, I had to get the broken glass replaced, however, when I got back home, I also discovered that the wood that was used for the wooden frame had a slight discoloration.Thankfully, I was allowed to come back to the same Michaels store for a second time and was well taken care of by Crystal. My only disappointment was that they did not have the wooden frame available and I had to leave it there for about seven (7) more days and they will call me back around October 27, 2017 to pick it up.Other then that, they atleast took good care of ME as their Michaels Loyal Customer and Im sure that they will do a Great Job at Replacing The Wooden Frame as well like they did for the Glass Portion already.I want to personally Thank Crystal and the other former male employee from the week before for taking care of ME and all of my Michaels Picture Framing Needs back on Friday, October 20, 2017.Thank you.Sincerely yours,Howard Paul ShoreVisitorExecutive, Volunteer Writer For Google And Tripadvisor Websites/HPS===========================================================Michaels, 11260 West Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90064I am writing a second (2nd) review because unfortunately, I had to take the picture frame/glass back twice to the store because there was a slight discoloration on the wooden frame from the past which is Not their personal fault. However, I am Proud to say that Michaels Took Care Of All My Needs and as of Thursday, October 26, 2017, I left the store being a Very Satisfied And Happy Michaels Customer!I personally want to Thank Claudia, the onsite store manager for taking care of ME on my Very Last Visit (and hopefully Not the Last Visit Ever) because Michaels Does Excellent Custom Picture Framing and Really Goes Out Of Their Way To Take Care Of Their Customers Needs!Sincerely yours,Howard Paul ShoreVistitorLoyal Customer To MichaelsExecutive, Volunteer Writer For Google And Tripadvisor Websites/HPS

Nice, courteous employees but the individuals who do the actual framing are incompetent to say the least. I had a total of 5 pieces get framed - ALL had issues. Two pieces with a basic frame and mat took 3 attempts to get right...there are still issues but Im just cutting my loses and taking it to an actual, professional framing store instead of wasting more of my time here.
