Its been awhile since Ive been to this McDonalds, but I started coming here back in the 70s or was it the 80s youll have to come over to Agoura,Ca. Its Beautiful

Pro tip: this location uses the self ordering kiosks as of March 2022. We just visited and it was great to jump ahead of the line by just ordering by using the kiosk instead of waiting to order. The food was ready in about 5 minutes which was great. It tasted great and was hot. One of the best run McDonalds Ive been to.

Having experienced this particular McDonalds for the past twenty years, Ive come to appreciate it as one of the best in Southern California. The staff is remarkable, food is as expected, consistent in every way everyday. Besides my wifes fantastic cooking, this McDonalds has been a second home for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners over the years for our family. Keep up the good work, we love you!
I just drove for about 4 hours. I was very thirsty and a large $1.00 iced tea hit the spot.
Place was clean during my visit, service was friendly and fast.
Clean and efficient fast food. Two drive thru order lanes. Its mobile order is not as user friendly as the ones with Jack in the Box or Wendys. When picking up multiple mobile orders, the attendant is confused and not able to take care of the multiple mobile orders in the same vehicle.
Our fries were limp and cold and they got out order wrong once again. We had to get back in the drive thru line again a second time because they screwed up. Its fast food its really not that hard to take an order and read whats on the screen and make that order. But again it is McDonalds home of the incompetent.
Not an obvious entrance from the street but well signed to help you. Same with signage to get you back to the main street and freeway. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. I had a diet coke, an ice cream cone, and small fries. Salty, sweet, and effervescent. Great combination. Just what I needed.

Their tri-tip sandwich was delicious, small for the price but it was delicious.
They have the option of hot cappuccinos and lattes on their menu but upon asking for one, they informed me that they dont have them available. This was so not poggers! It was rather disappointing and I had to order a regular coffee. Heres a suggestion, how about you update your menu or fix your machine. All in all, the food was alright, upkeeping mcdonalds standards.

Placed a mobile order and showed up about 15 mins later. The order wasnt in their system and the staff did nothing to help out. Just said they didnt have it. I showed them the order and that it was the correct location. Still did nothing.

This is the fastest McDonalds drive through I have ever experienced. Your car almost doesn’t stop lol. Aside from some items (large fries) being breathtakingly expensive at this particular location, if you use the app it becomes very reasonable. Polite, fast, efficient service.

Its McDonalds, (comfort food ) and this location never has sweet tea. Everytime I order it I get regular tea or some mystery flavored tea so I avoid this location if possible.

If its at all possible they are getting worse. I got their advertised special of 2 sausage McMuffins for $4.50 by the time I trimmed away the too burnt to eat parts of the English Muffin, I would say the was 30-40% of the English muffin, the egg was also overcooked and hard. I would have paid more for a better breakfast. I was hungry and wanted something to start my day off on the right foot. If this was the right foot then I would have a sprained ankle.
I guess my main issue with Micky-Dees is not aimed a particular franchisee - - its their marketing & Corporate PRICING Scheme.I used to see McDonalds as a VALUE choice. But the value has nearly Evaporated by now (2021) and the Food quality is no longer up to the (relatively high) pricing at these stores.
Food was pretty good because it was hot & there was no pickle like I had asked for. Friendly staff. Ladies restroom was a bit messy & 2 stalls had no t.p.
No napkins with our order, my husband had to stand in line for five minutes and wait for someone to finally come to the counter with someones order. He then had to say excuse me can we get some napkins. Napkins should be available for customers.
The gentleman at the register was very friendly & courteous. He also helped me save some cash. I had a 2 for $3 coupon. He didnt take it. He gave me the deal without the coupon. Plus, I got a $3 coffee for $1 because I had a coupon for that, too. Most McDonalds dont let me use 2 coupons on the same visit. Thanks to the honesty of this gentleman, I was able to get 2 deals without using 2 coupons. Service was very quick too. I avoided the long line of cars by going inside and carrying out the food with me. I will definitely visit this McDonalds location again!
Since I have a vegetarian girlfriend, I ordered 2 large french fries and oh... So... Good. Inside the location theyre doing a little remodeling. I want a QP w Cheese right now but Im no cheater lol 😆 🍟 🍔

The food is as expected but the individual taking the order then then handing out the food was very unpleasant. I felt she had a hard time understanding English at the drive-thru kiosk when I placed my order. And then when I proceeded to pick up my order, she had it wrong but proceeded to argue with me about it very rudely. Personally I would rather complain to management about her than give this McDonalds a poor rating but I have a limited time to do so today.

They dont want to spend money on condiments.They kept asking if I wanted to plain cheeseburgers. I told them no four time and then clarified, when I drove up to the window, that it was two regular cheeseburger meals with everything on it. When I got the cheeseburgers, home they were plain. I wont go back.
Telephone Rd in Ventura location. They always mess up my order. I have had to go back several times because items are missing or I have received something I did not order instead of what I did order.
If your in a large vehicle dont even attempt. Find parking on the street nearby. The services was great and the food was hot and fresh.
We went through drive thru. No problems at all until we got to the window to pay for the food, I tried to use my McDonalds app to apply a discount for my food and the lady wouldnt let me use the coupon code. Times are tough and now McDonalds doesnt want you to be aloud to use any discount we can get. Unbelievable! Money Hungry!
This is a really nice McDonalds. One of the better if not the best McDonalds Ive ever been to. Though i only 1 vaule you meal, I could tell it was proficiently managed, super polite and helpful staff, and just a happy atmosphere. If youre looking for a positive quick bite experience, this is the place.

I really liked the service at the window & the food Southwest Salad was quite good. The reason for 4 stars is I requested 2 Ranch & instead got 1 vinaigrette. Check the bag before leaving. Otherwise everything good. Even the young man trainee was really trying hard, he is not the person who got the salad w/incorrect dressing.
The guy who took our order was so rude. When I asked for a moment to order for my daughter, he sighed (very loudly). When I was ordering he kept interrupting making me feel uncomfortable. When I was making sure it was all that we needed, I turned to my husband to double check. I said Give me one moment please he said What else do you want? in such a rude way. Im never coming here again, not the first time this has happened. They screwed up my order a year ago, when I went in to ask for the last part of the order they accused me of trying to get free things, told me I was lying. I asked for the manager and he had said they forgot to put in the bag, handed me the burger and never once apologized for the way his employees acted towards me. I wouldnt come here if you dont like attitude.
So I went the first drive thruh and they said it wasnt working... So they told me to go through the second 1 and then Im sitting thier no one responding and then when they did it was messing up even more . Probably one one of worse McDonalds I been to. And when I was looking at other drive thru they were helping someone else.

The worst service. After stating 10 times at the drive through that I only wanted ketchup and nothing else on my burgers, they still made mistake.I called and talked to a manger and explained the situation, but he ended up hanging up on me. Worst service and the staff doesn’t care about the customers. I hope that the owner will see this post and try to do something about it.
Wait was long. I waited 20 minutes for our food, and they never even bothered to call out our number that I was listening for while standing waiting near the front counter. I had to look through the food sitting out on the counter to locate our food. They did have a tracking screen up but our number was never shown on it. Our food was cold as well. Its fast food, I dont expect much. Our cashier was very nice.

Sometimes this McDonalds is a little bit hard to get to because its set back from the road. However, the drive-thru can be approached from both sides and it is extremely efficient. McDonalds uses the approach of a separate money take her from a food Giver outer which works very efficiently and my usual driving food of chicken nuggets fries and a Diet Coke work hot nicely made and ready in a minute.
The attitude of the employee is so bad. The staff take up the close parking area near the entrance.I seen these in a few staff. They alienate anyone who is not friends of them or co worker. I ask for a refill of tea because there tea was not by the drinks. He gave me just tea with no ice. I was like is it not second nature for you to get ice? Since the first time I enter that business I felt I was being alienated. Poor Customer ServiceFranchiser: Why hire staff who does not give a dam about your money. Who care about the people who conduct business on your investments? If I was working at McDonald I would treat people good not give a dam about anything. I would be happy working and getting discounted food.
Its McDonalds. What more can I say? This location is a hop and a skip off the 101, just when you need it. Easy in and out. Remember there are two drive-thru lines and you might save yourself some time.
Awesome Mediterranean food at reasonable prices
I usually dont rate McDonalds Restaurants, but this one deserves it for not just its food but you will love the area, the view of the mountains and the freeway. You dont feel like youre at a McDonalds actually. It has really nice atmosphere, employees are awesome. Sit by a window and youll enjoy your meal even more, youd probably not going to want to leave. Its always clean too!
English muffins are always doughy they dont grill them there and could hear employees complaining about wanting the food hot well done. Sorry wrong McDonald this the one on 100 N. Azusa most of the people in front of us were there to get their money back or get what wasnt in the bag or what they had messed up. Manager acts like she is on doggy downers.
Very clean, and convienently right off the highway. Clean restrooms for a quick pit stop. The staff was friendly, although I still felt compelled to buy somthing after using the restrooms, I dont think they require it. The ice cream cones are to die for... Haha.
Service here is fast. The access is a little weird how the location is situated on Kanan Road, but thats nothing that McDonalds controls here. The place usually has a couple people in the drive through line, but never so many that it causes a long wait.
The best thing about this McDonalds at the moment is that the restrooms are open. Whew! Otherwise the food is consistently McDonalds...you either like or you dont.
HORRIBLE place, taking advantage of fast food being limited in Agoura Hills. Overcharges, has value menu they DO NOT HONOR it. They actually charge almost $7 for a breakfast sandwich. Rude employees shrugging things off rather then explaining them...stay away from that rip off place! They dont deserve even one star but had to give it to write review.

This place is pretty nice for a McDonalds. Its nothing spectacular, but it is always clean and the bathrooms are VERY nice. Its easy to get to from the freeway and a little tricky to get back to the freeway, but the lines and drive thru are fast and its the perfect place to stop on a long road trip.
McDonalds is best for a road trip or if you are real hungry and just want a bite to eat. Their food is good, but there are some better fast food places. Though, I do recommend McDonalds as a good fast food place, and if you have never been there, its a place that you should definitely try.
Never was a fan of fast food, but this is a great stop to get iced coffee (cheap, plus comes topped with whipped cream and a splash of chocolate syrup) when driving between So Cal and the Central Coast. Easy on and off at Kanan offramp going either direction. Bathrooms are plentiful and clean.
By far the worst Mc Donald’s. Ordered my food and if was cold during a rush hour. Then when they returned my food because I told them it was cold. I received a burger that was covered in grease and looked like a child put together. This is the service that wants $15 dollars an hr. Will not be going to this Mc Donald’s again. If you’re driving thru and see this location, do yourself the favor and go to one further down the road.
Right off the freeway so it is very convenient on/off quick eats. Next to a gas station so you can feed your car. Interior decor is really nice. Staff is bilingual English/Spanish and are nice and quick. The best part is the view of the Agoura Hills. Get a table by the big windows and enjoy your meal with a great vista.
Very sweet staff, but they have messed up my order almost every time I’ve gone to this McDonald’s. They don’t tell you your total either.. my advice would be train your staff better. They have charged me for the wrong order before, and since they didn’t tell me the total I had no idea how much I was paying. Please train your staff better this is ridiculous.
My friend and I visit this Mc Donalds almost daily because I am very fond of their caramel frappe. I actually have them prepare it in a somewhat different way from the usual method, and it is this activity that has given me reason to comment positively on this store. First, all the staff here are terrific. They are friendly and helpful, and work far too hard, especially considering what they are paid. I suppose it never occurs to most customers to tip the staff there, but I think tipping here is absolutely merited. One of the gals, Rosa, is especially wonderful. She has been an employee at this particular store for more than 20 years. She makes every visit there a joyful experience, and I always depart feeling better than when I went in to the restaurant. The managers there are great too, and they treat me like family. I highly recommend the Kanan Rd location. These people know what customer service means and show it by their actions. Here here, in an age when customer service is a forgotten art and simple courtesy has flown on the wind in most places. Considering the fact that I have been a strict vegetarian for over 30 years, it takes a lot to get me to go to a fast food establishment, but in the case of the Kanan Rd Mc Donalds, it is well worth it. Another 1star visit.___ Older review:Ive never been particularly impressed with this location. My most recent visit cost approx $8.50 for a Bacon Egg Cheese Biscuit, small fry, and a large drink. A more appropriate cost should be about $6.50, as it is at the surrounding areas other locations. The sandwich was $3.99. When I said that its pretty expensive the guy goes yeah it is.
Food is as good as McDonalds has been or will ever be. The food has never been my go to... Except the McRib. Make that B a permanent resident on your menu and your rating jumps up a 🌟What gets me is that you can not substitute anything from a combo (example: milkshake for soft drink in combo) and if you ask them to do so w/out previous knowledge of their strange rule, they look at you like you are pshyco and firmly tell you that the McDonalds franchise has never and would never do this. Buying Ala Cart fried fast food has never been a sought out destination if mine

Lazy and stupid staffs. I ordered three happymeals only to get the avengers toys through a Kiosk machine. After I got my meals, I found out that all of the toys in my meals were toddler toys, not the Averagers one. So I asked the staff to change it to the avengers toys. But he said the avengers toys were out of stock. I definitely chose regular toys when I ordered. If toys were out of stock, he should have told me that the toys I selected were out of stock, or at least he posted a sign that the toys were out of stock. If I knew that the toys were out of stock, I did not buy meals there. I was really angry at that time, but since I dont have time to argue with him, I just left. Besides, that staff forgot to put all beverages(apple juice) in my meals as well. I found out it when I came back home. I will never visit here again.
My son was in need of the restroom after a long trip from paso Robles... as we were walking in a tall bald gentleman in a white T-shirt Rudely closed the door in are face a yelled we closed wavering his hands... 8 tried to get his attentions and explain what was happening when turns around in disgust and repeats WERE CLOSSSED if I dont have in will never return!!!!!

McDonals 29161 Canwood St., Agoura Hills.This is my second review for this fast food restaurant. Unfortunately Im going to have to lower my star rating a couple of points.When we stop by on Christmas Eve for a lite lunch with coffee before going on to celebrate the season. The service is still OK and the food is still fairly good.My complaints is a health issue with this McDonalds. I was standing at the counter after ordering and looking through into the center of the restaurant, I saw one employee putting together our hamburgers with his bare hands.just picking up the cook hamburger patties and sticking it on the buns.Not using a utensil or plastic gloves or anything to keep the food sanitary. This is very unsanitary.My second complaint is while we were sitting at our table a good man came over to clean up after a large crowd of people with several children as I was watching him. I noticed there were several of those little individual containers of catch-up scattered among all the messy food. Instead of dumping all the trash in a wastebasket he was picking up the unopened packages of catchup wiping them off then separating them to put back on the counter for unsuspecting people to pick up. I dont believe this man bussing the tables is doing this on his own volition because he would have no reason to unless he was instructed to do so by the owners to save a few cents at the expense of patrons health.No telling what kind of a disease or affection you could get from a restaurant that is not health-conscious. This is definitely a management policy allowing this type of behavior in my opinion.
Sorry, I cant give a good review here. Worst drive through in the area as my orders are wrong at least 50% of the time. This location has been open for as long as I can remember and the remodels have keep it current but a nice view and food you know does not make up for poor service.

Food was served piping hot, and the staff was friendlier than most. They do have a split lane drive thru which I found odd at first, but then I realized, it just enhances convenience and accessibility from different access points.
Very dirty, trash cans overflowing, hadnt been changed in a long time. Soda machine wasnt working properly, watery drinks. Bathroom hadnt been cleaned. On the positive side friendly service and decent food.

I have to be truly honest I would rather drive down to the MCDONALDS on the corner of Olive by the AMPM. There are times when all I want is a Frappe and the machine is not working. Or the OJ machine is not working. Customer Service is a hit or miss when I order a the number 2 usually it means the combination. Everytime I get the... will that be the combo or just the sandwich question. On top of having to repeat myself 3 times. Then not getting the order correct missing fries, napkins, sauce... and at one point they didnt believe they didnt give me my drinks until they turned around and saw them on the drink holder. All I know is that yes if it bothers me so much maybe I shouldnt go, but then again we have to remember they are asking for $15 an hour at least take my order with a smile and make sure that as a manager your inventory is on point.
With out a doubt the worst McDonalds I have ever been too. Everyone there should be fired. Waited ten min for my change then waited another ten min for some hot sauce. Get home and guess what wasnt in the bag.
Slow service!! Had to wait over 10 minutes for 2 quarter pounders - when Maccie D first arrived in England in the 70s if you had to wait longer than 2 minutes for your order it came free, how times have changed
Terrible drive thru customer service. They were out of Turkey for the breakfast bowl, its the only thing I wanted. They offered no apologies and when I took time to rethink my choices the order taker disappeared and I sat there waiting for over a minute before she returned

This McDonalds is in a weird place close to the 101 freeway but you can see it before you get off so you dont miss it. I always use the drive thru and take off before checking the order but they get it right!
Got the grilled chicken sandwich via the drive-thru and found that the bun was burned. I was down there road quite a ways by the time I discovered this and didnt feel like turning around. Bummer!

Just picked up a fillet of fish, new craft chicken sandwich and small coffee on my way up north. I found the parking situation very bad, as its dangerous to back out of the spots blindly with two drive thru lanes directly in back of you. The coffee was terrible and I wasnt able to drink it. Ill look for a Chick-Filet shop next time.

You know what to expect when you go to McDonalds. I tend to hit it at six in the morning when nothing else is open and Im on the road. Clean location and hot coffee to relax before continuing on with my day.
Lovin their $3 menu. For three dollars I can get a happy meal. Either a cheeseburger, hamburger or 4 piece McNuggets w/ fries, yogurt/apple slices & a drink. (Toy included). With sodas bein on the dollar menu for now, you can even upsize the happy meal drink to a large for no extra cost. Avordable for any broke mom.

This is ok for fast foods the foods here seems like more expensive dont why maybe the taxes and its always busy the restroom is ok no paper towels.
Usually McDonalds is great. This McDonalds in Agoura Hills was slow and gave really bad service to our group. The food was still great but the service and hospitality were terrible.
Just too slow at the lunch hour in drive through. But we dont normally do drive through so maybe it was normal for that? Once we ordered it was fast.
I would come to this McDonalds to buy their Frappes because they made them well. Dont know what happened but whoever is making them are making them thick enough. They are too watery.

Told the cashier my order several times and he still got it wrong. After I told person who gave me food instead of fixing it she wanted to charge me. Delayed me five minutes for work.
I asked for extra onions and no pickles, but I got extra pickles and no onion, went through the drive thru, and they screwed it up.So no, Im not happy...
My order was all wrong ordered a #2 sausage Mcmuffin and ask to change the round egg to egg whites got my order with egg whites but with white cheese instead of the yellow cheese. .
Easy access on and off the freeway in either direction. Its like any other McDonalds. My only issue was the service was extremely slow compared to other McDonalds I have been in.
I take my Nook n order a ice coffee. Reasonably price and good flavored coffee.
Large Variety of foods, sometimes a play place for kids, drive thru option, but their ice cream machines are notoriously broken. Not the healthiest food, either.
There an employee manager, she is very aggressive and I do not like her attitude, her attitude is aggressive towards customers and employees it is said that the employee her name is Ebelin velazquez Shes really bad.

The service is usually very fast. The quality and consistency are usually good as well. Also happens to be one of the few places that is open in the area on holidays.

Warning!!! Restraunt says is open 24 hours . I dont consider a restaurant open when the lobby is locked and only have the drive thru.I have removed this restaurant off my list of restaurants to patronize !

Coffee was expensive when other mcds offer any size for a dollar even still it was watered down and tasteless.
Good fast food as you would expect from McDs. Drive thru staff could use some training on how to be at least mildly pleasant.

In the gaffe of an employee ebelin velazquez I treated myself badly screaming and furious plus he was seen being even more aggressive with more person please control his attitude eh seeing more comments and some have been complaining about that person

Its really annoying that they have the registers then some of the works push you to use the machines ...I use the app for deals so they say use the machine then print it out then come back to the register to scan your phone 😒 if Im going to the register already like ok so make it much more complicated for the customer good to know

Busy place at lunch!!! Just off 101 fwy @ Kanan exit. Order kiosks w/table service, lots of seating, 4 stalls in the clean womens restroom.
One of the best McDonalds locations, quick service, clean and lots of seating and the order takers speak and understand English.
They have new table cards to bring food , I was waiting for 15 min to realize my food was up front nice and cold , when I mentioned it they were like o well

This is one of the cleanest McDonalds that I have been to a great place to use as a pit stop travelling on the 101.

If you like McDonalds, this is one of them. I dont like McDonalds. Their coffee tastes like instant. Thats what I went in there for.

2022-05-07Terrible drive through service. You get there with one car ahead of you then four cars show up and order before you can. Split drive through was a stupid idea. They get the orders out to wrong vehicles all the time. And it’s not first come first serve. Plus. You can sit down or go to Baja Fresh cheaper than McDonald’s now. Slowest McDonald’s in territory.

2022-05-20WAY too expensive for a fast food restaurant. Corporate McDonalds is really teeing off on the COVID factors that have caused cost increases. They need to start pressuring their suppliers to find lower cost resources or Ill start using McDs only for coffee

2022-03-28Food is Mc Donalds - i enjoy it. What i dont like is no counter service. Use their app on the phone. Even if you are going in for a drink, otherwise you become part of decor. Be prepared to ask for all the extras (napkins, straw, ketchup, etc.) Otherwise, you invisible to the staff.

2022-06-13The Owner, Juan, is not friendly and stern- he also charges $1.99 for a Cheeseburger … last time I checked they are supposed to be $1.00 … he said “not at this location” and I said are you the owner and he said “yes” but wouldn’t look at me directly

2021-12-30The lady accidentally dropped my credit card down the donations box which they dont have a key for. My only solution from them was to wait until the person comes with a key (once a month) and pick it up. I live 400 miles away. Do you think theyd offer to mail it? Nope. Just move along and business as usual because it didnt affect them.

2022-01-27Tonight 1/26/22 @7pm, I unfortunately witnessed the manager berating, intimidating and bullying the window server. I was in my car at the window, and it was just awful to witness. The window server just stood there taking it, and realized there was a customer at the window, me, and as soon as the manager stopped he turned around to assist me. I didnt know what to say and came out with I thought he was doing a wonderful job. I almost turned around to go back thru the line and let him know that harassing and intimidating employees in the workplace is illegal in California. I tried to find the owner of the franchise online before writing this to no avail, but will continue.Update: I called this McDonalds and asked how I might contact the franchise owner. The woman said she didnt know. I repeated, you dont know how to contact the owner of your establishment. Answer...no. I asked if there was a manager there who might assist with this info. She responded she was the manager. I tried a last time, and she would not give up any way to contact the franchise owner.
