I would give them negative 10 stars if I could. I spent over $10 000 on the order. It took 3 1/2 hours to get my order together and every single cabinet was damaged! They dont value your time and they make 0 effort to make things right after THEIR mistakes.Dont shop here, especially for big orders. They simply have no workers with knowledge on how to handle the workload or how to provide decent customer service.
Only at Lowes do you go there for two items, buy 12 and go home forgetting one. Its the store design and the huge inventory that makes you buy stuff and forget others, so you can go again!!!!On a serious note, great customer service today. Must have been asked over 6 times by employees if I needed help, and while checking out I got chatted up by MOL, I gotta say it felt I was shopping at a local family store today, not a corporation. A+++++
I try and support Lowe’s as they are more lgbtqia friendly then home depo but after Asking 4 different people where I could purchase face masks and was given each time a different answer and none were in this store I gotta give it zero stars and I had to drive to Home Depot. 👍🏻
So, once you get a staffer, they are very helpful and friendly. The problem is getting a staffer. Or getting someone on the phone. I bought a washer and dryer, got an automated call saying they were delivered on the wrong date (the next day!) and to call the number if I wanted to change the delivery. Well, I called the number and the automated system transferred me to fast busy signals no matter who I asked for. So after trying corporate, which of course changed their hours due to Covid, I finally had to drive to the store to have the delivery date changed to the one I actually asked for which was printed on my receipt. Well, Mo in appliances was very apologetic and helped me quickly, but really, Lowe’s, why do I have to drive to the store to change my delivery date to the one I originally asked for? Can’t a human call to arrange delivery anymore?
Went into Lowes, Golden Valley, Santa Clarita and ordered a carpet for my bedroom. Scheduled the measuring guy with a window of 1:00-5:00pm. I received 6 texts and 1 phone call to remind me. Did anyone show up? No!! Not a courtesy call, nothing. I called and I texted, again no one got back to me.So they can stick their carpet where the sun doesnt shine.
I am alwaise happy to visit a lowes and this location was no different. The store is well stocked and all employees seem happy to be there. They ask if help is needed and even with a large amount of customers they managed checkout well with little to no waiting in lines. This location has a great gardening section with great deals on clearance plants. Great job keeping customers happy.
I ordered a kitchen sink over a week ago. It was supposed to be at the store by 4/26. I called on 4/26 at about 4pm to find out what is going on cause I wasn’t notified that my order was in. I was told that the vendor hadn’t processed the order yet but Lowe’s would call in the morning to find out what was going on and they would let me know. I didn’t hear anything so about 3pm on 4/27 I called again ad told the associate that I had spoken to another girl the day prior and gave her the name and I wanted to find out what was going on. She had no idea of what was going on and again verified that my order was not there and assured me that they would call the vendor by 10am on 4/28 and then call me and let me know what was going on. On 4/28 at 11am I called again to find out what was goin on. Again I was given the run around. They waisted my time by claiming they were going to do something and never did. My customer was very upset. I used Lowe’s mostly for my customers projects. This isn’t the first time this lack of communication occurred. I’m done with Lowe’s.
I’m here about once or twice a week, generally. The staff are friendly and helpful, the store is relatively well laid out. You’d think all Lowe’s would be the same, but they’re not. I suppose someone who typically shops at the Lowe’s on Bouquet Canyon would argue that their Lowe’s is better laid it, because we tend to hold bias for those things with which we are familiar.Minus one star because they constantly move the wood pellets we need to heat our fort, and because currently they’re actually out of pellets altogether. Desert nights are cold.
I visited this location with the intent to purchase a firepit and some firewood, but I was unable to make that purchase due to staff unwilling to assist with retrieving one of the boxes from the tall shelving units. I asked several employees for assistance, but each employee I asked stated they would page someone to assist. After waiting for about half an hour for an employee to come and assist me in retrieving the box, I decided that it would be best to make my purchase at a local competitor. I am disappointed with Lowes customer service as I have made multiple purchases at Lowes stores without issue. I can understand there being a wait if the store was extremely busy, but the store did not appear busy at all.
I just had the most amazing customer service help ever! Please go see Ralph if youre in the store, he said he worked full-time. He was so knowledgeable and he is a veteran. I have so much respect for him and he was kind of to give me a lesson on how to do a home project that I wasnt sure about taking on. He has lots of experience and he is eager to go far and above to help Lowes customers.This has been our staple Home Improvement store for The Last 9 Years. We have purchased a lot gardening supplies, plants, etc. And some home repair items.They have been great at returning things, even plants that didnt work out. They have a one-year no-hassle plant return policy. You just have to keep the pot with the sticker and bring it back.I have a my Lowes card with them and it helps to look up purchases so I dont have to worry about saving receipts.Its true that sometimes they may have lower amount of staff but Ive always got some good help when I needed it.

Then just give your phone number and show pic id.Home Depot wont give their 10% discount unless you have a Veteran Drivers License or Military ID. They wont even accept Honarable Discharge Paper DD214.Go to Lowes. They appreciate your service!
Maricela and Mo are the best! I drove over 25 miles to come to the Santa Clarita location and it was worth it. These ladies were professional and courteous. Always thinking of my best interest in mind and making sure I leave happy. Even when my bank made me call them to verify my purchase, they were patient with me and made sure I didnt feel rushed. Thank you for all your help!
From them forgetting part of my delivery, to the actual appliance breaking down within a week and a half of using it, to them taking forever to give me my refund, it’s honestly hard to pick which was worse. I should’ve known when they forgot part of my delivery that it was going to go downhill from there but I just looked past it because it happens. Then the refrigerator breaks down, ok, I’ll just call, put on hold for a half hour just to find a manager/supervisor and pushed around to different phones with no one picking up and finally hung up on. Go into store to have them come and pick up the fridge, that’s nice. They said it’ll be picked up Tuesday, wait all day, I get a call at 9pm saying they can’t pick up till Friday. Nothing I can do but wait, Friday morning, they pick it up, perfect!Go to pick up my refund, (my card was stolen so they couldn’t put the money back, understandable) they told me I had to wait till they get the appliance in the warehouse in order for me to have my refund back and they will call me when it is back. I didn’t hear from them at all until I called on MONDAY and had to go through all of the numbers my name, phone number, product number, invoice number, and just the regular stuff. On the phone for about 45 minutes and get told they’ll have to call me back at 2 because the person is on lunch.Guess what? The appliance was in the warehouse already and I guess they forgot. Finally, I’ll get my refund, right? Nope, they need to make sure they have the cash which was fine because that’s understandable with what’s going on, but no it was because I had to go in the back and double check to see if they had the refrigerator. Honestly the whole thing was a waste of time. When they should have given my money back when I Showed them the receipt of the appliance being picked up or offered to replace the refrigerator of either equal or less amount
Time in the check out was a nightmare, the cashier was very rude. When I asked her about the special financial 12 month not interest with my lowes credit card for my 2000usd purchase (I was told by two employees that I can take the 12 months, even there were some flyers all around the store confirming that. 12 months to pay not interest as long as you buy more thar 299) and she told me You have only 6 months, you want the 6 months or you want me to cancel the purchase .I was in shock, I didnt know it was a crime to ask .she was so mean and confrontational.They need better personnel people who really need the job.
I come here every couples of months. The parking lot is very ample and never have trouble finding a spot. Whether Im buying or returning something the staff is always friendly. They are also able to direct me to the correct aisle when I ask where a product is. I choose this store because is the closest to my home. I prefer shopping here than at The Home Depot.
The Lowe’s on Golden Valley has been out of schedule 40 1 inch pvc in 10ft lengths for over 2 months now and they .say it is a discontinued item. How can a hardware store stop carrying pvc in 10ft lengths. They have 3ft, 5ft, and 20ft lengths but not 10ft. No wonder I never shop at Lowe’s they always let me down and never have what I need. Home Depot always has PVC and in any length I want. What kind of hardware store doesn’t carry one of the most popular items ever. Item #23976. Veronica the manager told me it is a non stock item and has been discontinued and wouldn’t help any further. Total bs!!!
Used to do all of my shopping at Home Depot. Never more. The folks here are helpful and friendly. I recently bought some flooring (carpet) and the process was smooth from beginning to end. The installer did a perfect job. No store is perfect, but this is as close as it gets.
Working on replacing some window coverings for the house. Returned two more I forgot to return today. The returns line was short and took very little time. I like the Lowes card as I get 5% off and returns are simple as they credit my card. Roth Allen or Lenovos can be purchased and cut to fit on-site at no additional charge. You just measure the inner opening of your window, head over and they help you out. Last weekend two young ladies helped without complaint, they were very busy when we went. Picked up filters today from 3M, turns out the better filters have more pleats and allow more airflow. Love to learn new things working on the house.Found their warranties better priced than anywhere else for appliances.
As I write this post I am very frustrated. We purchased a fridge from the Santa Clarita Lowes as they were the only store with the fridge we wanted in stock. The said that we could get next day delivery, they gave us an end of the day delivery window, but then called to tell us the couldnt deliver that day. Apparently when this happens they cant reschedule the delivery for 48 hours. So we postponed a week. They finally delivered our fridge but after having it for 2 days it is non-functional. We moved all of our food into a cooler and called Lowes yesterday morning. At this point everything in the freezer has thawed. The delivery window they gave us was end of day again, after our last experience and the fact that we both work full time we wanted them to move it forward. This is apparently very difficult for them to control. The people that we talked to try to help us and will request that they move us forward but at this point we have lost a fridge full of food. At this point I would not recommend ever ordering anything from Lowes delivery. The fridge being non-functional wasnt really their fault but the process they use for delivery scheduling is horrible.
This store is clean and well kept with a friendly staff! I have been a customer at this location for three years and have always had great service in paint, hardware, and outdoor garden area. Tonight I called looking for a specific item and was helped in a fast and friendly manner by Michelle in hardware! Thank you Lowes for hiring good workers!
Just spent 2 hours at customer service with no resolve. First cashier told us to call corp office to get rid of us (corp couldnt help it was the facilitys issue).Ultimately, our merch credit was not done right on 7/26/15 or their cashier switched cards giving us an empty card with our receipt.We walked away $65.00 out of pocket and no product. Manager reviewed tape and said it was confusing and had to speak to the cashier of Monday… Really – the cashier is going to recall the incident? I am very doubtful.I will not shop at this location or any Lowe’s ever again regardless of Monday’s outcome. Home Depot is much more reliable and friendly.I suggest if you have a return and are given store credit, before you leave, make the cashier run the card and prove there is a balance on the card that matches your receipt.
Poor customer service. I needed help, couldnt find an employee anywhere near the light bulb department. No one near the BBQs, no one in flooring, no one in large appliances, no one in lighting... So I go up to the front of the store near the cash registers and I find two employees chatting with each other. I ask for help, and one of them says shell call someone to meet me in light bulbs. So I go back and wait, and wait and wait. No one comes. So I go in search of someone to help me again, again I find a group of employees chatting this time near the paint counter. I ask for help again, telling them that I waited for someone to come help me from my first time requesting assistance. Again no one in the chatting group of employees wants to help me, but they tell me someone will meet me again near the light bulbs. So I go back and wait. Please note its after 7 pm on a Tuesday night, the store is NOT busy, but none of the employees will help me, Im suppose to just wait for someone other than the employees I keep hunting down. Im very disappointed in the customer service I recieved, or should I say didnt receive at this location. I guess I was interrupting their social hour. I can see why people choose to just order stuff on line, my time spent trying to buy something that I needed was wasted. I left empty handed and feeling like the customer doesnt matter at all to this store. No wonder stores are replacing employees with self-check out and aps for your phone that help you find products. Im so very disappointed and I wont be back, its time to get an Amazon Prime account and not have to be treated badly by employees who dont want to help you.
This place has been and continues to be my #1 home-improvement go-to store since it opened. The Lady who runs the plant department is AWESOME and wonderfully helpful as well as a genuine pleasure to talk to. In this unusual time of Covid19 I appreciate that the employees are pretty good about wearing masks correctly and regularly. My one complaint though is THE HORRIBLE MUSIC. One god-awful song after another blasting throughout the store, there is no escape. So much for my happy ending by Avril Levine has got to be one of the absolute most miserable sad breakup songs ever, and while it was blasting its misery through the garden dept I could not wait to GTFO out Lowes. I came in with a list and ended up leaving some things unchecked for another time. So bad. Why do you punish us for chosing you?! Play something WITHOUT LYRICS, please please please!!!! Thank you!!
This place is shady. Went to Lowe’s for a toilet to be delivered and installed. They advertise installation fee of $139. After waiting 30 minutes to have someone help us, the woman tried to charge us $199 for installation. I pointed to her sign saying toilet installation was $139 and she had no idea about it. She agreed to charge the advertised price, but then the total came up to twice as much because of various hidden fees. They wanted to charge me a “contractor fee”. I asked what it was for and she explained it is a $30 fee because my condo unit is upstairs. They charge $30 just to have a contractor walk upstairs. After all the fees were totaled the price was an additional $139. We walked out and went to Home Depot where the same toilet was $30 cheaper. Sorry Lowe’s but I gave you a shot and you failed.
Always terrible customer service. There is never anyone around in all the departments. Then when you finally find someone, they dont have answers to any of my questions. We just bought a house. And after buying appliances through them, they have lost my business completely. Too many trips there and time wasted and nothing got done.
I normally dont leave negative feedback when a store makes a simple mistake. Im not that guy.If you shop at Lowes, you better be cautious when you purchase an Appliance. We bought a Samsung refrigerator (Item #: 185146Model # RF323TEDBSR). It wasnt in stock at the store, and that’s understandable. We were told prior to the purchase that they had 26 items located at their Distribution Center (DC) located less than 100 miles away in Parris, CA. We bought the item on 31 Aug 2014, and were told that the item would be delivered to the store (#1972) on Friday Sep 5, 2014. The delivery to the house was scheduled on 10 Sep 2014. This morning we received a phone call from Lowes Store #1972 informing us that the refrigerator wasnt delivered to the store from the DC. On Friday 5 Sep 2014 and on Tuesday 9 Sep 2014 we were told it was at Lowe’s #1972. Furthermore, they let me know that it was going to be another 1 to 2 weeks for it to be delivered to the store from the DC.I spoke to the Assistant Store Manager (he was understanding) and he informed me that it was out of his hands. He understood my frustration. So after speaking with him, and a store manager from two different stores they suggested that I speak with the Lowes Customer Care.I just got off the phone with Lowe’s Customer Care, and their solution was to say, “Sorry.” They also told me that the Store Manager of Lowes #1972 would call me tomorrow. Lowes Customer Care wasn’t empowered to do anything but record the complaint. They couldnt call the DC and direct them to put my refrigerator on the next delivery truck.The DC sends 3 trucks a week to each Lowes. 1 on Monday, 1 on Wednesday, and 1 on Friday. Now theyre telling me that I have to wait another week to a week and a half to even get it sent to the store! Then I have to wait again for it to be delivered to my house. Lowe’s. You had 26 in stock, and now you have 6 in stock. You have no one that can call or has the authority to direct the DC to send the refrigerator to the store? I have paid for it in full, and have a receipt.You failed Lowe’s! You’ve failed miserably!
The staff of twenty somethings were too busy flirting with someone in the film business to be bothered with me. When I finally was able to interrupt their conversation to ask my question of the UNIFORMED STAFF, they were exasperated and curt. If corporate wonders why this store has low sales look hard at your staff.
No one seems to know where anything is but they dont want to admit it so they send you chasing all over the store with the wrong information. They are poorly trained and dont seem to understand that there isnt anything wrong with saying I dont know let me go and find out. They dont seem to motivated for some reason.
Went there to buy light switch covers and a motion sensor light switch at Lowes off of Golden Valley Road had it all priced on Amazon the manager would not match the price so I went to Home Depot and they were great spent $120.00 and will go back tomorrow to buy more stuff from Home Depot
Who is running this store ? The employees at this store have no customer service education what so ever . You ask for something specific and they lock up . Then they tell that only one person does the special ordering and SHE isnt available ! On a Sat not available . Hey Lowes here is a hint why not have two people trained in special ordering and maybe one would be available on the weekend Duh!

2022-06-01Super clean Lowes, friendly staff, well stocked shelves, what else do you need? Easy parking, huge selection of brands, very good plumbing department, key duplicate, and its usually ghost town... like there arent many customers in the store most of the times. Actually, its strangely quiet sometimes that its relaxing to be in this Lowes. Way better than most Lowes!

2022-05-31Horrible customer service. Bought a $700 BBQ and needed a propane to natural gas conversion kit. The one they provided was missing parts and so I went back to exchange for another. They gave me a store credit because their inventory showed 7 on hand. when I went to get another off the shelf I couldn’t find one and either could 4 other sales associates. I asked for them to refund my money and they said they could not convert my store credit to a refund. So I asked them to bring one from another store for me and their response was “we don’t do that”. So I had to drive 15 miles to another store that showed inventory and guess what, their inventory was incorrect and they didn’t have any on hand. I needed up buying from Amazon. Then they told me the delivery for the bbq was in the AM 8-12, the delivery company called me last minute and said the delivery is now 1-4. I had to cancel appt for the afternoon. Do yourself a favor and never shop at Lowes. Use Home Depot.

2022-03-19I bought a Frigidaire Built in Microwave back in September 2020 in the Golden Valley Store, Santa Clarita CA from Veronica January. I still have not received the microwave and it is now March 2022. I have been in the store to check on it at least 13 times and called over 20 times now. I always get the run around. It always takes an hour so they can go all through the computer trying to prove I am lying. But, we always end up with it is LOST in our back room and we will call you to schedule installation. STILL WAITING. I have promised that VERONICA JANUARY will call me back at least 10x she never does. I called a few weeks ago and was left on hold for 30 minutes before hanging up. I went in 6 weeks ago and went through the entire ordeal (2 hours) and they promised to find the microwave and call me back... NOTHING. No one even tries to call and talk it through with me. It is not like they have not been able to prove now that it is a real purchase. Why dont they just give me the new model if they lost this one from 2020. I have even said I would pay the difference. THIS IS CRAZY. TERRIBLE. THIS IS MORE LIKE FRAUD AT THIS POINT.

2022-04-15I mostly go to the Garden Center here. The Garden Center is well kept, clean, and the pricing is reasonable. The reason for 4 stars is that the garden center often seems understaffed and the wait to check out is longer than inside the store itself.

I left my purse in my shopping cart in the parking lot after shopping and an alert attendant noticed it right away, secured it, and was waiting in the parking lot for me when I returned about 5 minutes later.

2019-04-24Very happy with our shopping stop here. Very clean can walk around the aisles since they are very spacious. I do though wish they had more cash registers open but got help right away when we were in line waiting. Products are priced fairly and found tool sets here that home depot didnt carry the time is was there.

2022-01-06They have to use a different vendor for appliances delivery. The customer service wasnt much help, either.UPDATE: I still dont have my order and the delivery company has changed the time multiple times without properly notifying me. I cant seem to cancel my order either. I am referred back to the store for cancellation but cant get any help. This is crazy.UPDATE: I still cant cancel my order because the store doesnt know where the appliances are....????? OMG I really loved shopping at Lowes but I will not shop here again. I highly discourage anyone from shopping here too unless you have a truck and you can pick up your own stuff.

2022-03-12It was great. One of the workers directed us to where the keys are made. When I got there I just had to find someone to make them for us. The first guy I asked said he would help, and he made them for us.
