This Lowes has a bit more selection than the Home Depot across town. Its still a typical Lowes that you would find anywhere else. Plus Lowes has a better return policy, now that Home Depot changed theirs in August of 2021. The ladies at the customer service desk are great! Very helpful and do everything they can to make you happy in the end. Store is always well stocked and clean. Great parking for large Rvs too!
I prefer lows over hd and this one is close to other stuff and I like that because gas is expensive also hd for what ever reason I think its there orange logo and theming that makes the feel of there stores almost idk cheap maybe is the word im not a huge fan of blue either but it makes the whole place feel less over Bering hell idk I some times like a place more simply because of the color of the building so sue me
We went to find quality paint. We found some, not the behr brand, but Sherwin Williams. We also found that there are lots of American made things here, more than i realized. I usually shop at home depot, but I like buying American, so I will start paying attention to what each of the big box stores carry. That being said, we bought our new electric stove at home depot, because it was a much better deal there.
I needed sandbags. I was just going to get the bags and sand separately and fill them myself. But the gentleman who helped me let me know they had gotten in some refilled bags that would be cheaper than me buying them separately. So glad he was there to help me. Great customer service
I go to Lowes a lot. Usually I can find what I need. Last night I had questions about the best material for a project Im considering. An employee offered help before I thought of asking for it he was extremely polite informative and helpful. After he showed me to another item I was looking for and left I witnessed a customer absolutely berating 2 employees that were trying to help him. Oh my goodness no matter where you work we are all human beings dont do that to people.
Terrible return policy... We purchased a water heater that did not work upon installation. Tried to tell us they couldnt return our money or give us a new water heater. Told us we had to contact the manufacturer! Thats crazy! My guy had to go and insist upon speaking with the manager. You shouldnt have to do that. It should just be returns no question asked. Not to mention there wood is inferior to home depots anyway I would skip this one and head to home depot.
Lowes is convenient, if youre working on projects and they happen to have what you need in stock. Right now, Im noticing that is the downfall, is not everything is in stock. But thats not necessarily on them. Its just probably the shortage of supplies right now. However, I am upset that a recent order for a stovetop failed on their end it ended up putting a huge stress and strain and us trying to find the exact matching stove top elsewhere, nc they gave us the wrong one brand and type. However, I did end up getting it from a local appliance store and I do feel better about that.I find the people that work at Redding Lowes, are friendly but theyre not always super helpful. And theyre never willing to go above and beyond to do something to help make it right, when there is a mistake. I also had issues with their online Lowes customer service when I had to order tile and they kept not sending me the right amount of boxes. Then I end up getting all the boxes at once, after I dont need them any longer.... so Im having to make 2 trips back to the store to return them. Which was fine, since I had to return the cooktop that they messed up on, as well... So Lowes can be helpful, but after doing a project, I think you get so sick of having to go back-and-forth, even if its not something you forgot on your end, it could just be a mistake on their part, as a chain store with too many mistakes from all over. And thats frustrating.
The worst experience I’ve had with a company. Disrespect, and zero accountability for their mistakes and being lied to is just the beginning. After ordering carpet through Lowe’s for the “free” installation we have waited months to get the carpet installed just to be cabled on without notice and had to find out by calling Lowe’s to tell us. We rescheduled the installation for 10 days later (had to fight to get a date that early) just to be canceled again without notice and to be lied to as to why they canceled without telling us. Decided to drive 3 hrs away to pick up our carpet and get our own installer just to find out that Lowe’s ordered the wrong carpet that isn’t remotely close to what we wanted. I can’t explain the amount of frustration we are having with this whole process. Someone needs to be held accountable.
Purchased a Husqvarna. I needed to return it as it would not start. Got Covid and was over the 30 days. After a misunderstanding, store manager Ian agreed to replace at 55 days after purchase. I was also able to speak with first clerk at Customer Service, and clean up the hard feelings. Overall Lowes turned out to be a Class Act. The replacement Chainsaw works everytime!
Tom D’Chevy is and has been the most helpful and professional person I’ve dealt with at Lowe’s. We’ve been doing a kitchen remodel and Tom is the appliance supervisor. He has been extremely helpful with picking out exactly what would fit best in our home and we’ve been more than happy seeing things come together. Even when the normal manufacturers’ or shipping errors popped up, which do occur on occasion, he helped resolve those issues seamlessly, making sure our experience was not only pleasant but stress free. Thanks Tom, much appreciated.
Absolutely horrible customer service!!! Just left there, spent $380. Cashier never asked if I wanted a bag. I went to grab one and her response was thats 10 cents. I said well you never asked and you already rang up everything. She was not going to budge. So I took everything out of the bag. I talked with her boss and told them Ive spent thousands at this store in the last month because my wife and I are remodeling with a $380 purchase today and you want to make issue over 10 cents. Though, how about I charge you the $150 hourly rate I charge my clients because I had to sit around and wait on them to find someone to help me with purchasing my order!!!! Absolutely unreal.... I will avoid this store at all costs!!!! 10 cents.....
I am so grateful for the customer service at Lowe’s. Joe H., Noel, and Wally went out of their way to track down and load a shed for me. they worked so hard to make sure I got one and I’m so incredibly grateful they went above and beyond! I tried doing the customer survey and it wouldn’t let me so I hope corporate knows they did outstanding and all deserve some extra credit for the effort put in to make this happen. Thank you to everyone!
We couldnt get anyone to help us. There wasnt very many people in there and when we asked 3 different employees for help and all of them said it wasnt there department, they will call somebody. The somebody never came to help. 2 men in the appliance department were rude and sitting and visiting with each other. They wouldnt get up to help us 2 aisles from where they sat. Very dissatisfied with customer service.
At this place you will find pretty much everything for the home improvement from a single pice of wood to a whole framing load ,and they have anything you are thinking of in the kitchen as well as washers &dryers ,plumbing supplies, lawn sprinkler systems and the list goes on and on .pretty much anything that you can come up with this place has it and they have decent prices on top of everything that they carry. So if you are looking for anything at all I greatly suggest you go to this store . Gotta love this place.
Great service. Good customer service. They do need more employees. They have approximately 3 to 7 customers to 1 Employee. Depending on which department. But they are awesome and get the job done with a smile most of the time. It might take a few minutes longer to get it done. But at least they do get it done. Even when a customer is very very rude and obnoxious and should be walked out of the building and told to never come back! Everyone that works there is doing an amazing job. I just want to say thank you to each and every employee at the Redding Lowes! Patients is really a vertue in these times.
Big box home improvement store. Although you sometimes encounter unknowledgeable staff most make up for it by being very friendly and helpful. Lowes honors veterans by offering their veterans discount 365 days a year, unlike Home Depot. The garden shop is usually better taken care of and more stocked than the other large stores in town. Would recommend.
Ill never spend another $.01 in a Lowes.Purchased an electric power washer, craftsman 2400.It stop working after 35 days.Lowes tells me to pound sand. Because they have a 30day policy.Well had I known they have such bad service Id have spared myself $300...Live and learn.
Would have placed 1 star but they actually have what I need. Plenty of floor staff but only 1 on register with the line getting longer and longer. Self-checkout prohibits certain volatile compounds from being purchased without cashier verification so having to wait for 5 other people for 1 item was not desirable. Several staff simply walked by the cocaphany and chaos. I feel sorry for the people further back in line waiting for a half our plus. Almost as bad as Walmart.
I shopped at Lowe’s in Redding CA. I shopped for laminate floors and new carpets. Larry was amazing. He took his time in answering my questions and looking into information I requested. Gave me some good ideas on what to get, and helped me get a great deal. He followed up with phone calls. I would highly recommend seeing Larry in the floors department. They had a special and measured my rooms for free. The only downfall was the installation, Walt did my floors and another company did my carpets. I had baseboard installed in the rooms and they measured the rooms. The floors got put in first a week later when the carpet guys did the carpet. I did not have enough baseboard I was told the floor guys wasted some of it so I had to go out and buy more baseboard. They carpet guys also took my leftover supplies I had bought like caulking, tape. Etc. There was a lot left over which I felt I paid for it so they should have left it. They also slashed a hole in my wall, which was obvious they did it as the room had just been painted. They did repair it and were very nice and admitted to what they did. Overall to order definitely go to Larry, he’s great!
I am not very happy, we have been using lowes for a long time. This time we bought a gazebo and a patio table. Both were damaged. We kept the gazebo due to taking 5 hours to put together. The assistant store manager (Bert) was VERY rude! Took them over and hour 1/2 to return the damaged table and bring a new one down for us when we called 2 hours prior to coming into the store. I’m 7 months pregnant and can’t lift a 100lb box and he asked why I didn’t bring it to customer service. Lowe’s has always exceeded our expectations but this time around has made me not want to even buy at their store. Over a $1,000 purchase and the store manager treats us like we are beneath him. Not okay!
Don’t waste your money! My boyfriend and I made a trip into town to purchase a wheelbarrow. After looking around, we didn’t see the one we were looking for. Their website said they had multiple in stock. We waited in line and asked the gardening cashier who sent us to the front of the store to ask them where it was. After waiting in line again, we asked the front cashier where they were and she had no idea either. Finally an employee said they had them so we purchased it and waited out front to pick it up. Then the employee who met us said they didn’t have one built and that they needed to give us an unbuilt one that was on a pallet still. After waiting 30 minutes, we finally got it and left. Once we got home, we realized this “brand new” wheelbarrow was already rusted. Very disappointed in the service and quality of product.
Alright the trick is this. When you get board. Go walk aimlessly around the aisles until they think that you are trying to steal. Then start randomly stopping. And going back the same way you just came from. Lots of big circles too. I did these for almost 4 hours. Just to buy a single 1/2 - 18 bolt. Had some fun though
All my items got rang up but an expensive saw didnt make it back into my cart. I didnt notice untill unloading my cart into my truck and went back with the charge on my receipt. I asked them to review the security footage to prove the cashier didnt place the saw in my cart after scanning it but they refused and said it was against policy. The cashier was conveniently off duty as soon as I was trying to get a replacement saw or a refund. Customer service said I must have lost it in the parking lot but once again could not look at security footage for me to prove it.
This Lowes is a large and well stocked store (except for the one single thing I went there for - Coir). It boosts an impressive layout and the employees were courteous and attempted to be helpful, although when you dont have ample inventory of common and basic gardening substrates its really hard to help that customer.Better much next time Lowes
Disappointed, spent 2 hours in the return line.. The manager Bert (if i recall right) was unprofessional and no help, Refused to return my item but then said he could 30 minutes later. also didnt believe my claim even claimed he would check the security camera regarding me not picking up another order... he then disappeared for an hour (i was later told he clocked off) in the end my item was refunded in full. Kathy was great help .. but i am still disappointed,
Love the project wood/finished plywood selection here vs. Home Depot. I can usually find everything I need! Its my big-boy toy store 😂 Only reason for only 4 stars is that I had a HORRIBLE experience a while back when the employees were really stressed and rude. I was with my father and was yelled at for not social distancing with him. Seriously? I checked out separately from him so I could pay for my own stuff but we told them we were together. I would rate more poorly but given the circumstances and the understandable stress the employees mustve been under due to the COVID-19 and the distancing enforcement they had to implement, I cant totally blame them, so Im giving them a generous 4 stars. Second trip back a month later went way better, too. I highly recommend but NOT if you are trying to avoid crowds. That place is very busy!
Lowes needs to train their employees customer service. Went through the self checkout had an item that rang up double what the tag said. The attendant did not check it on the shelf. So my husband did not purchase the item. Lost sales even small amounts cost the company thousands of dollars. No thank you or gave a nice day..nothing. INCREDIBLE!We only came to Lowes for a friend. Home Depot is a much better shopping experience ALL the way around.
I went to four different places before finally trying Lowes. All I was looking for was a nice, well draining pot or an aqua globe for my succulents. So satisfied with their selection, and the store is very organized, clean and neat! An employee was also there to help!
Let me tell you about Daniel the Grossly Unprofessional at Lowes Home Improvement, Redding, CA . I bought 100 retaining wall stones. 100. This is the load that got me stuck on the hill and stressed me out so badly. I get someone over to unload the stones, and line them out. The stones look great, everything is good. When I go back out to check, lo and behold...the pallet of stones are the wrong ones. Obvi, I am very upset. I call Lowes and ask to speak to a manager. I get Daniel. I explain my situ and I tell him how upset I am. He tells me I can bring them back for an exchange. I explain that just does not work for me, there is just no way and I explain why. I am not physically able to move all these stones. He tells me basically that is it, and he is very hostile. I ask him to please not be hostile with me. He accuses me of being hostile. I tell him, no Im just very upset at the situation, I know it is not his fault, it is not anyones fault, Im sure it was an innocent mistake, etc... He says I dont have time for your sarcasm and hangs up on me.
The store today was a disaster.. I probably tripped or stumbled 2-3 times just walking around.. Aisles blocked with boxes everywhere. Trash all over the place on top of not all my items made it in my bag.. I shopped there 8 hours ago and called down after 5 hours passed and my tool has magically disappeared. Not going back
Its a home improvement museum for a reason. Needed to order doors that were out if stock, paid for them when I ordered. They said there was no way for me to be contacted when they came in and to keep checking the inventory online. After checking for a week past the date they said the doors would be in and still not showing in inventory, we went to store to look and there they were on the shelf! Picked them up and went to a cashier and the lady rudely kept asking if they were signed for. I had no idea what she was talking about. Then she said did you go to customer service? Well didnt know we needed to? Anyway, after 20 minutes waiting in line with one person at customer service and many employees standing around at the registers with no customers, we were finally able to leave. Lowes needs to update its technology and service. We will not shop at Lowes anymore.
Updated: Shop at lowes daily, sometimes several times a day but that is going to change due to a special order I placed 3+ weeks ago. I ordered two custom windows totalling $880.+ dollars. They call and tell me that they are ready so I pick them up. I get home to unload them and the double slider is missing both window screens. So I call and speak to millworks . Due to it being Sunday they could not call the manufacturer. So my name and # were taken for a call back. Today is monday mid morning and I still have yet heard anything. Manufacturer is towards the east coast which means theyve been open for hours.Ill be returning there products and buying from someone else!Update: 05 03 21. So I returned the windows and was credited the full purchase price back to my lowes acct. If they knew what customer service was really about they could have easily made 2 new screens to fit the window and life would have been grand. They even sell all the materials there to make your own. Just another reason to be disappointed with management. And I never did receive a call back as promised which isnt shocking cuz they pulled the same bs on a larger purchase 2 years ago which ended up costing me so my customer would be 100% satisfied. Thats good business.
Running a hotel we have to purchase items daily, from paint to toilet seats you name it. I use my online account and purchase everything this way. It is paid for and its easy to send in my maintenance employee to pick things up.So why a 1 star review? Simple, I do the orders online, we do not receive the orders available for pick up until numerous hours later? We ask at the counter after 2 hours if they can get our items and they either refuse or have us wait 45 minutes to get 1 or two things?Well Lowes, you seem not to care, we have talked to everyone we can and nothing has changed. Even your service counter by the entrance has people standing around doing nothing but has us all waiting in a huge line? We are now spending our $10 to $30 thousand dollars a month at Home Depot.
My wife Lilly and I purchased a new washer and dryer at your Redding, Ca store today. Your sales employee, Tom D’Chevy (such a cool last name) was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about the products and answered all of our questions, never once did he have to “get back to us”.I took the survey, which said that team members only got credit if their score was a 9 or 10, however the survey scores only went up to 7. Very curious I thought! So, I’m writing this review to make sure that Tom D’Chevy receives the high praise he is due. Thank you for all your help Tom!Blessings!Pastor David Honey
I ordered artificial grass online, and specifically asked through the online chat, to confirm I had the measurements correct. The agent stated I did, and he was wrong! I ordered incorrectly, and ended up with half a lawn! Not to mention, the desk agent ringing me up was rude, even when I kindly pointed out that I understood his job was hard (I was an essential worker as well). It then took two calls over two days, and three managers to figure out where the first agent got it wrong. I ended up having to place a second order to complete my lawn. I show up to pick it up, and theres a line wrapped around out the door. After a long day at work, and especially after two months of being an Essential Worker, I just LOVE having my time wasted! Thanks Lowes! Next time, Im just going to pay the extra money and go to Home Depot, and get it done right the first time!!!
I filled out an online form and received a quote for a water heater installation via email. The email said the quote was sent to my local Redding store. In order to proceed with the install, I should go to the store to make payment and schedule a time. Thats what I intended to do. Once at the store I was sent to 4 different locations. Finally I was told they dont do installs anymore. Clown show.
As of lately, Lowes has gone down in customer service. I have done Online pick-up before and it was quick and somewhat easy. Now its been almost 2day everything is in stock and its not ready. I would pick up but I was in line for over a hour last time I was there....and durning all of this someone had the bright idea of changing around all the irrigation section. Now employees and customers cant find anything!
The checkout clerks were fabulous. But it was hard to get help and one helper, Eric, seemed totally disinterested in helping us decide whether or not the grab bar we may want needed additional hardware for our situation. He referred us to another isle for the hardware and said there should be plenty of people to help you in that isle.
We ordered a washing machine from them. Paid for it! Bought it online had it set up to be delivered! When it arrived the front half was smashed. The delivery guys said they would take it make to the store and said we can get it replaced for one that is not broken. I was ok with that. When I called they asked me multiple times if they could CALL ME BACK. I said nope I need this fixed. On hold for over an hour off and on. The guy finally said all he can call me back. Cant do a refund. Cant do an exchange. CANT FIX THEYRE MISTAKE! All they can do right now is call me back.
We just had a sliding glass door installed by Lowes and I cant begin to tell you how happy I am with the whole process! Everything went so quickly..from picking out the door , getting an appointment for measurements, to installation. Amazing to get such good service ! Eric did a great job installing the door! He explained everything he did and cleaned up so that when he was done it looked perfect! Than you Lowes for a job well done!
Great place to find home improvement stuff! Usually higher in prices then the home depot. The deals at lowes are better then home depot and run for a shorter period of time, as well. They have an awesome veteran account system online where if your a veteran you can apply for their discount they offer online/instore and if your approved the discount is attached to your account. Whenever you shop at lowes in store or online when you give them your account information youll automatically get the veteran discount applied to your cart. Thats probably the best way I have seen any store deal with the veteran discount, which is a big plus! The redding store is filled with helpful and nice staff, if you have any questions.
Dont go inside this place if you have store credit these people have no idea what theyre doing and when it comes to prices how wow Ive seen better in other places I dont know what the stink is as far as going to Lowes to pick up parts and pieces Home Depot sorry tools it just your people
BEWARE !! Lowes kobalt guarantee is a flat out lie, I had original receipt and i.d. they even confirmed I had everything necessary. This was my first return ever to any lowes. Got sold a piece of junk with a promise and what I got was garbage and lies with fake guarantees. Common thieves
The Home Depot and Lowes are virtually the same.... but for my choice I would definitely choose Lowes.I give Lowes five stars because of their friendly service and ease of finding itemsin their stores.they all look the sameand that is a great thing!because if you want to get a drill bitor a hammer or a piece of wood .you know where youre going unlike other stories that changed in the inside and you cant find nothing and it takes you forever !go to Lowesand you know you will find what you need. And compared to some places likeAce Hardware that has good stuff to .Lowes has better pricesyou wont have to spend all your money just to get your project done.their prices are competitiveand I would say most of the time better.I really shop around I got budgets on my project and Im pretty sure you do too.So go to Lowes .go get your projects .go get them done.and know you got them donefor the right price.
If I could give negative stars I would! 2 out of 2 times trying to online order and safe curbside pickup and they royally screwed it up! I was allowed to pay for a swamp cooler that was never actually available and took 3 phone calls to finally figure that out. Thought maybe it was a fluke so I tried to buy a washer online and pickup in store only to have to call them and be told that they sold the washer out from under me and its no longer available. So you know what else is no longer available? My Business because Im taking it else where! Ill never be back.
Id give this Lowes zero stars if I could. They made billions during the pandemic but shameful customer service remains. Reps see you looking and run the other way. Had to chase down 3 to get my mail in rebate form. My husband couldnt use his military discount even with a veterans ID. F minus.
The staff is not educated throughout the store. We waited 45 minutes to get a large item removed off the shelf. For a young associate to drop it on the ground push it under the isle block rope and refuse to help us. Spoke with the store manager he told us to shop Home Depot. We had just spent $2000. I will not return to the Redding Calif store
I was in the paint department looking for a creative way to paint my front door. I was lucky to find a staff member named Curtis, who helped find the perfect paint colors, which I used to make my front door beautiful--and unique! He was so helpful, really listening to my project ideas. I didnt need to return to the store because I had the right tools and paint type to complete my project!
Lowes, in Redding can rest assure, their decision,10 days ago, to hire a young man named, HUNTER , now working in the Lawn and Garden section, will most likely exceed in any part of the store including management and p.r.He assisted me via phone, went to another section of the store, proceeded to inform and basically educate me on a product I need, and was looking for, since what I needed is not in stock,he gave me the information on what was available, then explained how to place an order, more for my need, what to expect in the amount of time it might take for my purchase to be shipped and delivered.Very pleasant an eager to help......YOU HAVE A GEM.......wonderful attitude.
Very disappointed in my visit to Lowes Garden Center today. Had hoped to purchase a lot of flowers for my garden...but no, not today and I am headed to Home Depot instead. The staff was extremely rude and disrespectful to me and my husband...we had the gall to ask for a price on a blueberry plant...guess I wont be returning to Lowes.
Normally Im happy with Lowes but my experience this time wasnt so good. I didnt get my military discount on an open box item but wasnt told at the time of purchase. When I returned to customer service I was informed of the recent change. I verbalized politely my concern they werent communicating this change to their veteran customers and that would not only help customers make more informed purchasing decisions but help prevent these types of situations. The girl seemed uninterested in my suggestions but went to a manager anyway. She reluctantly gave me the discount and was fairly rude. Will most likely take my business to Home Depot now.
I havent been to this place for several years because I usually go to.Home Depot instead. But wow am I glad Indus. I found just the right color paint Ive been searching everywhere to find, which is the reason I came here.I was greeted by a very kind person. Then everywhere I went I had someone asking me if they could help me and smiling so nicely. I was so pleasantly surprised by all this kindness, which I never received at the other home supply stores I visit.I ended up.looking around and got some plants, supplies and the paint. The ambiance of the store made such a good impression on me, I swore to return soon as I could. Which I did, just to make sure it wasnt a one time thing. I have returned 3 to 4 times over the course of about 4 weeks. Its been the same way each time. This no fluke!Im.not sure I want to return to another home supply store after these wonderful.experiences uve had.Thank.you Lowes for being so wwlcoming, helpful and kind to me. I will return for business regularly.
Purchased an LG dryer to the tune of $1144.00. The normal cycle had no heat so had it returned and another delivered. That one has the same problem. Called the store and was hung up on twice so decided to see if I could live with the problem. Now another feature doesn’t work so trying to reach someone e at Lowe’s. The first time got stuck in the cycle of no one answering. Called again, got transferred 5 times. The last guy hung up on me. Tried to call back again and the operator hung up on me. I will never ever purchase anything from Lowe’s again. Worst store I have ever dealt with.Update: Gave up on LG and ordered a GE dryer. Finally found a gal at Lowe’s that helped me. The first GE dryer sounded like a freight train was inside. The delivery guys put it back on the truck and brought me my fourth and thank goodness my last new dryer. The Lowe’s store gave me a very nice gift for all my trouble which I really appreciated so will give Lowe’s another try. However, the delivery guys turned off my water to hook up the steam and did not turn it back on. The next day, tried to wash clothes and thought my washer was now shot. Called the repair place to find out it was just lacking water. Bad week but learned a few things. Good news is, both washer and dryer are still working and it’s been a couple of weeks.
Went to Lowes on Cypress st. on Thursday May 21, arrived there at 8 pm to buy some soil and plants for our garden, and yard. We will not be going back there anytime soon! The nicest person in the whole damned store was the lady watering plants! I have been shopping at Lowes stores since 1973 and I have NEVER been treated with such rudeness and piss poor, I dont care attitudes! If they dont want to be there then go the hell home!
I always shop at Lowes, even drive past Home Depot to go to Lowes. Tonight was horrible!! Couldnt find any employees and when we did they would ignore us. Had to go to self check out to ask for someone to come help us. I asked about a Pergola they had on display, without even looking anything up she just said oh we are out of that. I dont think she worked in that department because she was one of the employees that ignored me before I asked for help.
Showed up at 7:30 AM. Thought I would get a good start on the crowds. Lowes had nobody there to help customers. Got in the long check out line at 8:15 and there was only 1 checker. 1 hour in line to pay. Horrible wait and employees attitudes are bad because Lowes isnt hiring anyone to help them.Lowes, take care of your employees!!!!They are who keeps your business running.
I went there looking for a refrigerator light bulb. In the kind I needed they only had a very low watt bulb. I tried it anyway. I just cant understand ,what kind of refrigerator would need a light so dim. The store was very clean. And all the employees were wearing masks.
Redding Lowes is a clean well kept store and is routinely well stocked. The materials are higher grade than many other suppliers often times and if not they match the competitors available grade. The employees are friendly and helpful without being pushy or overbearing. My trips are fairly frequent and I enjoy shopping here.
Upon entering the aisle where I knew I needed it to be, but I couldnt find the items I was looking for... An older gentleman walked straight up to me could tell that I was looking for something and asked me what I needed and I named off three different things and he knew exactly where every single one of them were... excellent service thank you sir
Online: 1 star.We ordered a washing machine online. They called at 630am to say they didnt have it in stock and they were canceling our order. We looked at the description on the website and it said 1 was in stock. We called someone else at Lowes, and 1 was in stock in the backroom! What in the...?I dont know if they deliberately lied to get out of doing a free delivery, but the whole thing was pretty sketchy. Their corporate customer service said they could get it delivered to the store in 6 days, so why didnt the lady who called at 630am say that in the beginning? We would have waited. So they lose nearly a 1000 dollars on inconvenience. On top of that, there was no evidence that they canceled our order. We called customer service and they canceled.Im not angry with them, but this is objectively bad.Avoid their website, especially for big purchases.Physical store: 3 stars. The store is clean, the checkout is nice, nice employees, and the parking lot is great. Its hard to find things though. They could use more clarity in their layout. If you can find what youre looking for, its pretty easy to checkout and the store has overall good atmosphere. But, relative to the competition, its a good, not great, store.
I Love The Redding Lowes Store, especially lumber and the paint departments. This is a store where real/true Customer Service still exists.Im leaning flow art with various types of paints/mediums. When COVID hit craft stores like Michaels quickly ran out of stock and their prices went up. I got so frustrated I decide to go see what materials I could find/work with from other paint & building materials stores.Lowes has helped me take my art to an entirely new level. I am so Grateful!Jeff in lumber has been very helpful as I learn to use materials other than the typical stretched canvas. The manager Ian quickly returns phone calls and is an absolute pleasure to speak with.Lowes has been all Positive experiences and I am 100% Loving It!
Called in twice and transferred to appliance department where nobody answers the phone and then the call ends. Took a trip to the store because website showed they had two items in stock. I showed store associate the Lowes website and she mentioned it was a known issue with their site.Wasted time on the phone and then wasted time taking a trip to the store. Please make it easier to do business with you.
Ordered kitchen cabinets in December and had to send half of them back. Second group came and because Katelyn put the microwave in sideways, my drawer microwave will not fit. Have tried numerous times to connect to order a shelf and drawer front so that I can fix the empty cabinet. Watched on Tuesday as the girl wrote my name, phone number and what I needed and yet still I havent heard anything. Their customer service needs improvement, and some of their employees are inept. I have no desire to do business there anymore.
Lowes does not cut their Project Source blinds. So if your larger window is not exactly the 48 or 64 width they carry, youre out of luck. They will cut Levolor blinds, but they dont make a room darkening vinyl blind. I was told the machine belongs to Levolor. Really? I would have paid a charge to have it cut, now Im left to buy online.
Horrible customer service I ordered something online the email stated that my order was ready so I went to the store to go pick it up I told them that I was there to pick up my order and they said that it was not ready and that it was going to take about 15 to 20 minutes so I told her that I was parked over by the lumber and I asked her if I needed to move my vehicle and she said no she was going to tell them that I was at Lumber. I waited for an hour to get my product and when they came out and brought it to me they said they were advised that the order was already taken care of and that I had left.
There is a cashier named Maria who is extremely rude. We have had several negative encounters with her and have asked management to coach her on better customer service. She is also rude and abrupt to other staff members. Making it even more awkward for us when purchasing. The first time we complained it was due to her discrimination against my father a disabled vet who has to be in a chair to shop. She told him he was going to slow and she had other customers to attend to. That was unacceptable. The second time was with my uncle and the third was with me and my husband. We returned some material that was loaded incorrectly. She scolded us and was agitated that we did not understand the return policy. Obviously this person need more coaching or another job. I can’t believe she is still working at Lowe’s with her attitude and poor customer service skills. She should be placed in a position not working with customers. We had excellent service from the guys that loaded. Especially Jacob O
In the midst of a home remodel, there is always time for one (or fifteen) more trips to Lowes. Our cabinet designer is a rockstar who put together our (soon to be) gorgeous kitchen. She worked with the space we had and saved us 35% on the order! I highly recommend their staff. Theyve always been happy to help, both with sales and with loading.
Love the products, staff is helpful, but management does not take care of employees whatsoever.(Im not an employee) management just doesnt seem to care for people actually running the store. Might be reason theyre always hiring. If looking to apply, Id keep this in mind. I suspect they do not have a good retention rate.
Worst experience of my life trying to purchase a washer and dryer. Bought a set, but the washer wasn’t in stock and they had to order it, we brought home the dryer same day. When they received the washer, they ended up selling it to someone before delivering it to us. Then come to find out, the washer was discontinued so they couldn’t order it again, they then ordered it from a different Lowe’s that had it in stock, they delivered it to our house, it was the wrong color. Then they sent another one, completely wrong brand, color, and everything. So they then did an exchange for the newer model of the same washer/dryer which I thought was pretty nice of them. So we finally thought the worst was over; they had called and said it would be delivered the next day between 10-1, I took off the time from work. I sat there.. and sat there... and what do you know, no one ever showed. Called them, and it turns out they sold that one to someone else too. My husband then loaded up the dryer we had, brought it back to the store, and demanded a full refund, which they easily did, but shorted my credit card $5 which wasn’t worth calling them over. I then decided to shop local. Might I add, we called and went in countless times, and about 90% of the conversations we had were “sorry you’re going to have to come back(or call back) later, because I can’t help you. Almost everyone we talked to was so careless and obviously extremely unhelpful. There were probably only 2 ppl(out of a bunch)that we had dealt with throughout this entire situation, that were actually apologetic and sincere.Oh and also, this whole experience was over the period of 4 months. This store is an insanely poorly managed store. Would highly recommend shopping elsewhere for large items.
Terrible customer service. No one around to help. I called the store while in the store to ask for help with an item and no one came to where I was. Long lines, many items always out of stock. Is this Lowes or the Redding Walmart??Anyway, doesnt matter, because Home Depot is the place to go!
I placed a poil ck up order today ,expecting to pick it up today. I went into the store the customer service lady said that it would be 3 days before it was be ready. She said that I could put the order together myself and bring it up. Luckily there was an employee that had great service in the lumber Dept. His name was kevin . Hes.said thaT he would put it togetherfor me and bring it up. He save aover 1000. Dollar order. Thanks to him and two other employees.
Management is a joke. No one on staff keeps records or communicates. Every single delivery is screwed up. We have to call 10 times to get Lowes to do their job. Managers don’t even try or know what their talking about. We spend a lot of money here and that’s not an exaggeration. Corporate should do a little better training in customer service.
The Redding store is very mismanaged. I waited for someone to help me cut some carpet. It took 5 minutes to find someone to help me, they told me that they were on lunch and would be back in 10 minutes. I waited 10 minutes and someone finally showed up. I asked for help and they were sidetracked by another coustomer wanting help. I waited 15 minutes and the Lowes associate never came back. I had items to pay in my cart and only one person was available in the self check. I called the Redding store and asked to speak to the manager. He didnt want to listen to my concerns and the service or lack of his store wasnt providing. He hung up on me, very unprofessional. Especially for a store manager. I will think twice before going back.
We needed to replace our rotted deck and looked an many different materials and solutions to rehab it within our budget. After several attempts to get help at various bog box stores, I found a gem! Alex H. at the pro desk at Lowes! This man actually took the time to find out the details of our project, recommend the right application for us and gave us invaluable information on the right deck material that fit our project and our budget. The deck we wanted to rehab will now be better than we anticipated and our construction of it will be much easier--thanks to the expertise and advice we received from Alex. Ok...I know...weve all wandered around those big box stores searching for help and accurate information...but we can recommend Alex at the pro desk at Lowes. If you want to receive great customer service, go see Alex!
Very helpful service, but was very confused why I didnt get approved for a credit card with Lowes on the spot when my credit score is excellent, and I owe no debts except for my mortgage, Home depo had no prob giving me one on the spot, very disappointed, prob wont except one now
Grace of the Seasonal Department was FANTASTIC! Had the items I called about in a cart ready for me. Helped me find other products on my list. This experience was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what I experienced at Home Depot in Redding last Friday night with regard to staff, including the cashier and security guy at the exit. Also, the store is much better laid out and the items somehow are cheerfully displayed. Plus, Lowes was not blasting obnoxious mind-numbing Christmas music, as Home Depot was.
I purchased carpets at Lowes and after waiting for 2 months I decided to check in on my order. The order was supposed to be delivered and installed within a 3 - 4 week timeline. When I called I was told by Gina that this order would be looked into and we would get a call back. Gina did not call back. After attempting to get ahold of her again she was unavailable both days I tried to call. I called back the employee that helped with my order Larry and he helped me understand the issue and why it was taking so long. But he told me to call at the end of the week to check in about the order. Larry was incredible helpful and apologetic about the whole situation. Once Larry informed me that the carpets had come in I figured it prudent for me to contact management about this and to let them know that I had been neglected as a customer for the past 2 months. As I am not in a huge hurry to have these carpets installed it isnt that big of an issue. But when I pay $2,000 in advance I expect to be at least notified that the install will be pushed out a little while. At lease a phone call. When I finally got to management I was talked through their process. And how the person I was putting the blame on was actually not at fault. Turns out after talking with Jennifer, one of the managers, apparently no one is at fault. Supposedly it is my fault that I didnt realize they would not inform me of the status of my $2,000 purchase. So Jennifer had no apology or sympathy for my situation. Not even an I am sorry that happened. As a very level headed and customer service focused individual I am very let down by the management that I spoke with. Cheers to Larry for the help and I hope Jennifer comes to terms with the fact that a sorry that sucks goes a long way.
I have only had poor experiences at Redding CA Lowe’s but went to shop refrigerators since they were advertised at 25% off. Found a good deal but although the store was not busy, I had to bother one of the six employees hanging out. I walked to the desk and was greeted (that is being generous) by a young man/boy sitting back in a chair, legs spread wide open surrounded by two girls talking. The only positive comment I can make is he did ask if he could help me. After I attempted to purchase the 2000.00 appliance, he directed me to pay at the counter. I attempted to purchase the 5-year warranty but he did not explain any details. I had to ask specific questions I left without paying and drove directly to Home Depot where appliances were not on sale. I gladly paid 2500 for a similar refrigerator.
Went in over two weeks ago to purchase a washer n dryer w my mom. Went round n round w sakes person (who was very nice) trying to find a set that was in stock. We were there like 2 hours trying to find a W/D set that my mom liked that the store had in stock that we can have delivered ASAP. We funlly found a set n asked if there was anything else we needed to purchase to make it complete but was told no. Come delivery date..got a call night b4 n was told they werent in stock n wouldnt be delivered till the following week after shipment came in. Went in to complain the day of the 1st delivery date n was helped by a gentleman named Tom. He was very helpful n took care of our needs in a friendly manner. Mom called to make sure they set up n install n was told over the phone that they do but we would have to have new hoses n such for it when we were told differently when we first bought them so we had to make an extra trip into town (30-40miles one way) to have them for delivery the next day. Again..Tom helped us n was again very friendly n helpful. Thank u Tom for making our visit pleasant.
Not so good. Both Lowes and Home Depot had the same Fire Pit on Black Friday sale for $49. We had one in our cart at Home Depot but elected to put it back before we bought it. We went to Lowes. They were sold out but told us to order on line and send it to their store for my veterans discount. We went home to so and they were out of it. Now it is a day after Black Friday and both stores no longer offer it at $49. It is this writers opinion that Lowes should honor this deal when the product is replenished.
I come here all the time. Just got treated as a thief after my little brother and I purchased a yeti water bottle. As I was walking to my car no one said anything until I saw a working taking pictures of my car. He didn’t believe that I bought it even after I was telling him I did and had to show him the receipt. I am absolutely disgusted by the way he handled this incident and wouldn’t even stop to get our attention. Instead taking pictures of myself, my little brother and my car. What a slimy and unprofessional move.
We go to Lowes at least twice a month for something or another. We frequently shop other hardware and supply stores as well, however, Lowes has a lot of great deals on a regular basis for things we need. As renters of an older house were constantly replacing some small part, or paint, etc. The staff are usually very knowledgeable/helpful.
Always like Lowes. The garden section usually has a better selection of plants than most. Spacious store, plenty of parking; easy in/out. Convenient location, and several different stops can be made at that one location ... Cold Stone Ice Cream, Fall River Brewery ...
Lowes usually has what I need at reasonable prices, great hours, clean and well organized. However, the past 4 times I have been there, I have consciously noticed that the customer service employees walk around and talk in pairs or even in 3s. Each time I was clearly looking for something and they will just walk right by you and not even acknowledge you. 2 trips ago, 2 employees were standing there talking and I walked by them...more as a test, I was looking for some steel in hardware, but I had more time on my hands than usual, so I was curious if they would help me. So I walked very close to them in my search. I heard one of them say...just a second...then they were quiet because they didnt want me to hear their conversation....didnt say a word to me. So I went by, looked down the next isle and came back toward them again. They were quiet again..still no offer of service. I would love to see that video..comical, but really sad for those who have invested time, service and energy into the store. Lowes is the best, but the past couple months...ouch, they need someone to teach them how to help people again. Maybe they got a new manager? They are slipping. Many are helping others, many are on break, many are in the middle of a task, but not these, they are just having personal conversations and if they were busy, they could at least acknowledge and let the customer know they are coming back or sending someone to help. I am pretty tired of lazy and unfriendly people making the world more difficult for others. If you are one of these people, please change your life and respect your co-workers, customers and yourself enough to do a good job. Otherwise, go find something else to do because you are wasting space.
This place is one of them stores that a guy can go in to for only 2 or 3 things and spend hours looking for all of the things that you may or may not even use. This is what I like about this store its also got reasonably low prices and they are very competitive with Home Depot I personally rather go to Lowes Home Improvement store!
Definitely better than Home Depot. Employees seem happier. I bought paving bricks last time I was in. I started my project and came back to get more. Unfortunately they are discontinued. I was a little peturbed that there wasnt a sign saying Discontinued. I had to redesign my whole project. The employees were very helpful though.
Positive photos of customers using your product or service, or displaying it in real-life situations demonstrates an extra level of effort that not only proves their loyalty to your business, but it allows other consumers to see your goods in action, which can help them make informed shopping decisions. How to Get Good Reviews of Your BusinessSo you’re not going to buy reviews (that’s a big mistake), so how do you actually get consumers to positively review your business? Work to implement these five tried-and-true tactics.1. Solicit ThemIt’s basic, but you can’t expect something you don’t ask for. More often than not, happy customers are willing to share their good experiences with a review. In fact, a reported 68% of consumers left a local business a review when asked. So ask! Follow up with customers after a purchase, thanking them for their business and kindly inviting them to share their experiences with your product or service. If you’re making the greatest efforts to produce a good product and satisfy your customers, then you will be rewarded with positive reviews.2. Consider the AskIn addition to simply doing the asking, consider your approach to soliciting reviews. Vague questions will likely warrant vague answers, so make sure to customize your feedback forms with specific questions or prompts to get valuable insight into your business, and other online searchers. Your method of soliciting feedback could mean the difference for the growth of your business. For example, instead of simply asking, “What did you think of our product?” you might ask, “How did our product meet your particular need or want?”3. Engage with CustomersAs we mentioned, the best reviews feature engagement from your business, responding to their comments, questions, and concerns. It’s not just good business—it invites more engagement and growth. 41% of consumers say that business’ review responses make them believe the company really cares about their customers, so get interactive. But don’t just be satisfied responding to reviews after a purchase is made; work to engage with customers (and potential customers) at each different phase of their customer journey, so they know that your business really cares.4. Concern Yourself With Customer ServiceWe already emphasized that good reviews typically identify strong customer service principles that your business demonstrates, so to warrant these gold-star reviews, you need to make top-notch customer service an elemental part of your business. By providing an above-and-beyond customer service experience, you’re setting yourself up for the ultimate ROI—good reviews and more business.5. Go the Extra MileConsider this the all-encompassing principle of how to invite good reviews for your business. In whatever field or industry your business operates, seek to distinguish your brand by not only meeting but exceeding customer expectations. The more you can do to stand out amongst your competitors, the more your customers will be motivated to spread the (virtual) good word.Podium improves your online reputation by helping you collect more reviews. But it’s more than just reviews. With Webchat and the Messaging Platform, you can text customers directly from your website. So while they get the convenience of texting your business, you get to keep the conversation going from Podium without being tied to a desk or a device. Great reviews might help customers find you, but a seamless customer journey will keep them coming back. For your business to grow, it needs good reviews. That much is clear. But don’t leave your ratings—or your online reputation—to chance. Knowing what makes a good customer review, you can now do your part to increase that chances that happy customers will flood your business with positive reviews—and their virtual seal of approval.ShareTweetShare252SHARESWatch a 2-minute demo of how Podium works for your business.Watch DemoRelated PostsThe Ultimate Guide to Online Reviews for BusinessesONLINE REVIEWS 0Google Plus Business Page – H
Delievery for brand new refrigerator was pushed back 3 times at the last minute. Staff claimed there wasnt a ton they could do because they use an outside delivery service. They did contact the service to try to get it to us in a reasonable amount of time at one point. We ended up having to call the 3rd party service or lowes 3-4x the day it was delivered because communication wasnt going well between the store and the delivery company. Fridge arrived, was slightly damaged on one side. Lowes did offer to replace it, but the staff we spoke with didnt seem to care too much.
Sometimes 5 star, sometimes 2. Overall I think theyd fall in the 3.5-4 category. Some visits Ive had red vests falling all over me looking to help, but other days Ive seen them standing in groups of 5 or 6 scratching their asses ignoring shoppers. All in all though, Lowes is my preferred home improvement store; very slightly higher prices than the competition but quality and helpfulness easily make up the difference between them and the orange apron guys..
Today we went to inquire on replacing our kitchen appliances It was very busy.we finally was approached by a salesperson on the phone . he signal us that he will help us. He was so helpful with answering our question. I particular appreciate his patients. He was very thorough n quite knowledgeable with specifics of the appliances..so thank you so much for your time this was a very enjoyable experience.
A very nice store with helpful employees. If you are looking up items you want to find out what aisle they are in, dont bother. Ask an employee instead because their computer locations given, for this particular store, are not correct. They have a nice selection of items and the store is clean and uncluttered.
Terrible service. Called several times and the operator seemed incapable of connecting me with ANYONE from the electrical department. After 12 minutes on hold for the third call, I gave up and took my considerable contractor purchase to another supplier. Lowes shouldnt have children running the phones.I called back later to let the manager know about the subpar service and he clearly didnt care, certainly didnt apologize, and generally acted like my call was a bother to him. This manager is clearly why this store is not a good one. Ill be totally avoiding it in the future, and I suggest you do too, if you care about competent assistance in your hardware store.
7/30/16 We walked thru pretty much the entire store on a Sat. at 4 PM and not once was there an employee that spoke to us or acknowledged us. When looking at screen doors we passed the desk area for doors and one employee looked at us while on the computer. 2 others continued their conversation. When we found the item we had a question about we had to locate an employee who gave us a price as he continued his personal conversation.Sorry Lowes your store is not customer friendly. There is another store in town that is your competition and they at least ask if they can be of help.
I was able to find the items I needed only because I worked there 10 years ago. There wasn’t a lot of help from employees available and the ones on the floor would practically run away to avoid helping you. However, there aren’t any other stores that offer as many items as they do... besides Home Depot. I prefer Ace Hardware.
Bought a GE washer, washer was making a terrible noise while washing. Lowes said they would change it out for a new one, but I had to pay for another washer and they would credit the first one once the second was delivered. Did not feel right but had no other option. Paid for a second washer. They said it would be in the store with 3 to 5 days. NO one followed up with me. On day 7 I called the store again and was told the washer would be in the store that evening. So 20 minutes later I get a call from the delivery company that they will be delivering the washer in 20 minutes. I called the store and asked why they were delivering the washer with no advance notice? What if we were not home? They said someone was supposed to call me and they did not know who was to call and they were sorry. What a mess, dont buy anything to be delivered from Lowes. Makes me think that once the washer arrives I will be off to Lowes to get my credit for the first washer.
So you park in the 15 minute pick up, follow the arrows to the Pick Up desk, but don’t count on anyone helping you. The customer service guy looked at me several times and never told me I had to get in the Returns Line. No joke When I got to the front of the returns line, Kirby said I will help you over at the Pick Up Desk!!!
I love the Redding Lowes! The manager Ian, is so helpful and loves giving back to the community! He has helped multiple non profits and schools throughout the years! (The picture is from a school mural project that Lowes donated all the supplies and paint for!) And on a personal note Lowes has helped us make our house a home! They are always helpful on ideas and supplies for projects, if they dont have something I need, they get it in quickly (and often ship it right to my door), and have a wonderful variety of everything you could want for your home or yard! I purchased a whole new kitchen of appliances through Lowes and they worked hard with me to get the best deal and exactly what I wanted! They even did an amazing job installing it all and removing the old, broken appliances! They are even helping me find all I need to remodel my bathroom this winter! I would not go anywhere else!
We just purchased a refridgerator online for same day in store pickup from the lowes in Redding CA and rented a truck to move it. We arrive at the Lowes only to be told we have to wait for someone to send an email before they will retrieve our refridgerator from the back room even tho we have the confirmation number and all the required information. I was told to cancel my order online and wait to have it refunded then come and buy it in person by the stores pro desk, which would take days to process the refund and this was the last refridgerator in stock. This is now day 2 when its advertised as same day pickup. My U-haul rental is adding up every day and im wondering which will end up costing more, the refridgerator or the U-haul.This is terrible service and we will never be shopping here again, you have a dozen crew members rushing around the store eager to help people find their items but no one will go into the back to find mine.
Curbside pickup is a joke! Waited on the phone in the car at curbside pickup parking space for 10 minutes and no one bother to answer the phone! Had to walk inside the store to pick it up! dont offer curbside pickup if customers have to go inside the store to pick item up!!! What the point of having 5 employees standing there talking. Worst curbside pickup ever!
Have a good selection of products. Helpful employees while you shop. The reason for two stars is they treat you like a criminal if you try to return anything. Purchased about $800 of home improvement materials. The wife had a change of mind on hot tub placement so I had to return some 8 conduit pieces that were unused. I had a receipt yet they kept me at the return cashier for an hour saying they had to review security Camara footage because my wife and I entered thru the garden entrance and grabbed some things we needed before returning the conduit. Security footage was verified after an hour of standing there waiting. Also given a lengthy condescending talk about returning items first. Will not be shopping at Lowes ever again in the future. I dont like to be treated like a criminal for no reason.
Took a chance I could get a measuring wheel have stopped three different stores and they are always sold out of the one Im looking for but they will only order one at a time and the next one wont be there for another three or four days. Hmmm.I had a 50$ gift card my decided to buy something so I gave her the card and thier cashier couldnt get to accept the card from thier own store Hmmmm ....🙁
Art, from the plumbing department, helped tremendously in guiding me toward the correct water softener/purification system for my home. He also asked questions so hed know which type of salt Id need. When it came time to decide whether to purchase the two-year warranty, he explained what would not be covered without the plan. Art is thorough, patient, knowledgeable and efficient at his position with Lowes. He also put my items aside on a cart enabling me to complete my errands and return later to pick up my heavy purchase. When I returned Mike, Arts manager, assisted in getting these large items loaded into the bed of my truck. My handy man will install my system tomorrow and Ill return to Lowes to let Art know how well Im doing thanks to his guidance.Thank you, Art, Mike and Lowes, for a wonderful experience!
Yesterday we went shopping there when we went to pay we were totally werent in their system anymore for the military discount. I told him I had just updated my information from an email they had sent me and they said nope youre not in the system go to customer service.went to customer service he told me he couldnt do anything until April 1st 2020 and the day we were there which was yesterday was February 7th 2020. So I said she told us to come down to you he said our system doesnt go into effect until April 1st I said and you want me to wait that long before I can get a discount.ever since weve applied for the military discount at Lowes weve had nothing but problems were not in the system we are in the system we have to show my card every time Im really disgusted with Lowes and how they treat the problems that they are causing the military veterans. Instead of being an MIA Im a m i s missing in systems , Lowes system.Christine Symanietz

2022-06-13From indoor and outdoor projects to major construction, they have you covered. They have everything from general construction materials such as lumber, concrete, drywall and roofing to all of the little things that we need to finish our projects. They have a helpful employees that can help you order what you need from kitchen cabinets and countertops, custom flooring and lots more. The garden department is amazing, everything from decorative plants to what you need for your vegetable garden, not to mention everything available for your landscaping projects too. If you dont see what you are looking for in the store, make sure you check out what they have online.

2022-03-02Ive got no complaints about Lowes. I went in there looking for a Craftsman tool Box and couldnt find anyone on the floor so the very 1st person I asked went and looked with me, we found them, Then he helped put it on the cart and helped me with a few other things and that was it. It was a very nice experience. its one that would definitely convince me to go back again if I needed any help with home projects or whatever.

2022-04-22We just had the absolute best customer service experience at Lowes in Redding that we have ever had!!!The salesperson that assisted us in appliances was Jaxon who went above and beyond our expectations. He was thorough and helped us in our search for a new appliance, he was patient and did not try to push an item on us to make a sale. Because of his demeanor and professional conduct we did purchase from Lowes without even going to another store. The store manager Ian was equally as helpful when we purchased a power washer and answered all our questions and assisted us when there was a question at checkout. Jaxon helped us check out and assisted us with loading. We are extremely pleased and want to make sure these two employees get the acknowledgment they deserve.

2021-05-04The outdoor garden staff was extremely helpful in my search. I was on the hunt for gardenia plants for zone 8, so I called ahead they had just what I was looking for, in the perfect price range $9.99 1 gallon pots.

2022-04-10Terrible experience trying to get a stove. I’m in the process of trying to get my 3rd stove the two prior were both damaged. They also are not accurate with delivery time. They will tell you a time frame of like 12 to 4 for your delivery and then show up at 10 am and tell you have to reschedule because you were not home to accept delivery. Very disappointed.

2022-06-08NEVER USE LOWES FOR CARPET INSTALL. If I could give zero starts I would. This has been a horrible experience. They ordered too much carpet. Their installers installed the carpet wrong. Lowes has admitted the job was done wrong and still, 4 months later no resolution. They promise daily they will call to set an appointment to fix and never call. They DO NOT back their work, nor help in resolution. Their call center is very sympatric but they can do NOTHING. NEVER EVER TRUST OR USE LOWES FOR CARPET INSTALLATION.

2022-04-23I stopped in last month for supplies for a construction project. I was sitting in my car and over heard a manager of Lowes telling a man If you cant speak English you cant be in my parking lot I then confronted the manager about what he said at which point he began to apologize and say it was not okay to say. I let his boss know of the very upsetting conversation outside. I guess its okay behavior because that awful man is still there. It is not okay behavior Bert. Racist.

2021-05-08I love the volume of products but walking through the aisles is always a challenge. On my last visit I used a motorized cart. I had problems from start to finish. Many aisles were cluttered with products or ladders or products and ladders. The charge ran out so I transferred my items to a fully charged cart. That cart made it to the aisle I wanted, through check out, to my car and no further. Good thing I didnt park it behind my car. I felt so unwanted as a handicapped shopper.

2022-06-30There website said they had a dremel piece I was looking for and when I got there they said it was another store that carried it. I had to drive to Home Depot to get what I needed. I made sure I was looking at the right store online but I guess that doesnt matter.
